On the way from Zhangye to Qilian, you will pass through Biandukou. It is more beautiful when the rape flowers are in bloom. When we went there, it was not the blooming season and it was raining. We rolled down the car window, took a simple photo and left. When we arrived in Qinghai, it started to snow heavily and we saw the snow-capped mountains.

The route passes through the Biandukou Ecological Leisure Tourism Scenic Area in the southeast of Minle County, Gansu Province, referred to as the Biandukou Scenic Area. The natural scenery around the scenic area is unique, with thousands of hectares of rapeseed flowers, plateau pastures, mountains and valleys, and cultural landscapes that are fascinating. National Highway 227 runs through the entire area, and transportation is convenient.

Not long after leaving Zhangye, you will arrive at Biandukou. In early August, you can still see rape flowers here, and the blue sky, white clouds and fresh air make people feel extremely comfortable. The scenic spot requires a ticket of 60 yuan, but most people just look at it from the outside, so there is actually no need to buy a ticket.

Crossing Daban Mountain and Biandukou. Returning to Qinghai, I saw Qilian Mountain again. Walking through the Qilian Mountain Canyon was like entering a fairyland, with clear blue sky, lively white clouds, warm sunshine, and snow-capped mountains. The rapeseed fields in Biandukou, Minle County, are located at the foot of the Qilian Mountains. Ten thousand mu of rapeseed flowers are in full bloom, stretching up and down. July is the best time for Minle rapeseed flowers to bloom. Large areas of rapeseed flowers are ups and downs, stretching endlessly. Looking around, the endless rapeseed flowers are very spectacular, and the momentum is shocking. Compared with the small and beautiful rapeseed flowers in southern Anhui, the rapeseed flowers in the northwest are more majestic, spectacular, cheerful, and atmospheric, and the feeling is completely different. Twelve years ago, there was no charge here. The car parked on the side of the road, and you could walk into the nearby rapeseed fields to enjoy the beautiful scenery. This time, a tourist attraction has been established here. You need to check your ticket at the gate to enter. The ticket price is 60 yuan (20 yuan for Zhangye locals with ID cards). There is a road in the scenic area that can go all the way to the high viewing platform. There are also well-repaired pavilions on the way from time to time for tourists to sit in and rest and cool off. Standing on the high observation deck and looking up, you can see hundreds of thousands of acres of rapeseed flowers as far as the eye can see. The golden rapeseed flowers and the blue sky and white clouds set off each other, forming a beautiful flower scroll that is breathtaking!

Although the rape blossom viewing season has passed, it is still very beautiful and makes me feel very happy.

At the bottom of the canyon is a deep river ditch. Although the amount of water is not large, the water vapor that constantly evaporates from it can continuously nourish the grasslands on both sides.

Biandukou is about 3,000 meters above sea level. At this time of year, just like Qinghai Lake, it is also the time when rape flowers are in full bloom.

In addition to rape flowers and bustling tourists, tall trees begin to appear here.

Biandukou seems to be building its own tourism image, with large tracts of rapeseed flowers attracting many tourists. The straight road and two rows of tall poplar trees are such a familiar scene. Walking in such a world, you will immediately feel like you have returned to the human world.

I asked the price and it was 10 yuan for riding nearby and 50 yuan for riding farther. The driver said it was cheaper than the one in Qilian Prairie, and I wanted to ride, so I rode. 50 yuan was for riding to the three big characters of Bian Du Kou in the picture below. I thought why it was so far, but later I found that riding a horse was really fast. When I got to the road below the big characters of Bian Du Kou, the road was good and there were few cars, so I started riding the horse and really enjoyed riding. It was really cool and very happy.

Many people recommend National Highway 227 because of this place. Indeed, in addition to Menyuan, the rape flowers here are also very good, but I still can't give it five stars. The area is very small, there is only one mountain, and further ahead is the vast Hexi Corridor Plain. . In fact, it is enough to look at it from the outside, and you can see everything on the scenic highway included in the ticket.

One of the two best spots for enjoying rapeseed flowers on the Qinghai-Gansu Grand Loop. The characteristic of Menyuan rapeseed flowers is that they are large in area, and you can see rapeseed flowers on both sides of the road for a long time. The characteristic of Biandukou is that the scenery is more beautiful and closer. Rapeseed flowers are planted from the hillside to the foot of the mountain. It looks like a three-dimensional sea of flowers, blue sky, white clouds, green mountains and yellow flowers. The picture in front of you is more vivid than a flat picture. You can also ride a horse up the mountain among the rapeseed flowers, which is also a very good experience.

This scenic spot is also strange. The ticket is 60 yuan/person, but if you ride a horse, you can get free ticket for 50 yuan/person, and children can ride for free. Ah? Did we go to a fake Biandukou? It should be just an observation deck at Biandukou.

When we came, the rape flowers had already faded. They bloomed in late July. Standing here now, you can imagine how beautiful the rape flowers are when they are in full bloom. They stretch to the foot of the mountain. Climbing up to the viewing platform, looking far into the distance, the greenery is now replaced by golden yellow and green. . . . You can't see them anymore, you can only imagine them. Then there is no need to see the flowers in Wuyuan.

This is also a place worth visiting! We sat in the car and looked through the not-so-clean glass windows to see a world that looked like a painter's oil painting! In mid-July, the rape flowers were in full bloom, and with sunny weather, all the colors became clearer and brighter!

Tickets are 60 yuan, and there are no rape flowers in early August.

On the way from Shandan to Qilian County, passing through Biandukou, I was immediately stunned by the vast expanses of green and gold. There were several cars parked on the roadside, all of which were tourists who drove or chartered. Although it was not yet the most brilliant season for rapeseed flowers, the vast expanses of flower fields were particularly beautiful against the backdrop of the towering Qilian Mountains. There was a parking lot along the road, and people usually stopped to take pictures before continuing on their way.

In the past, soldiers guarding the border, merchants and camel caravans passed by at Biandukou. In history, Li Bai, Wang Wei, Gao Shi, Cen Shen and Wang Changling passed through this gorge to the west and went out of Yangguan, and wrote many popular frontier poems that have been passed down through the ages.

Biandukou is too commercialized. We didn't find anything interesting when we went there. The scenery is not as good as the scenery on the roadside. There are many locals holding horses and asking if you want to ride horses. The price is high. We left quickly.

The breeze accompanied the white clouds, cattle and sheep were scattered on the grassland, we lay quietly watching the clouds, everything was so leisurely. The whole way was full of blockbusters, and I didn't feel aesthetic fatigue at all, I kept taking pictures!

When we arrived at Biandukou, we were attracted by the vast sea of rapeseed flowers. The golden rapeseed flowers and the emerald green barley fields intertwined into a beautiful ocean.

In addition, since it is located on the side of National Highway 227, a service area with a roadside parking lot as the core is naturally formed. Various small vendors are available. It should be a good choice to solve lunch or stop for a rest. PS: There are many local cars selling fresh mangoes on the side of the national highway from Minle County to Biandukou, and it is said that they are locally produced. Although the grass was already yellow when we went there, and we didn't see rape flowers all over the mountains, we still loved it, not to mention July and August. But the toilet is really hard to describe...

I went there during the National Day holiday. There were snow-capped mountains in the distance, and a small village at the foot of the mountain, with red tiles and white walls. The pale yellow farmland stretched as far as the eye could see, and the sun shone on the earth under the cover of clouds, with some bright and some dark yellow. Passing by here in the morning, the morning sun shines all over the land. The Qilian Mountains in the distance and the nearby land are all golden.

The weather was unpredictable along the gorge, and it seemed that one man could not open the pass! This gorge not only has steep cliffs and turbulent currents, but also has endless pastures and fragrant wild flowers. Historically, this gorge was a dangerous pass connecting Hehuang in the south and Ganliang in the north, and has always been a battleground for military strategists.
