Jinta Desert Poplar Forest Scenic Area

The Jinta Desert Poplar Forest Scenic Area is located on the north side of the middle section of the ancient Silk Road and 6 kilometers northwest of Jinta County, Gansu Province. It consists of five functional areas: the Poplar Forest-Jinbo Lake Core Scenic Area, the Elaeagnus Sand Date Forest Sightseeing Area, the Hanhai Red Willow Forest Conservation Area, the Desert Entertainment Experience Area and the Desert Reed Maze Area, covering an area of more than 80,000 acres. The scenic area is home to the largest "fossil-level plant" Poplar Forest in the Northwest, which is of great ornamental value.
Jinbo Lake is rippling with blue waves, the Populus euphratica forest is dazzling, the Elaeagnus angustifolia flowers are fragrant, there are many kinds of wild animals, the red red willows are intoxicating in the autumn, the white flowers of the reeds are blowing in the cold, the beach is soft and the sunshine is charming. When you visit this place, you can fully appreciate the desert style, appreciate the Populus euphratica culture, explore the secluded tung forest, and experience the wild fun of the desert. This is a tourist destination that integrates ecological afforestation, windbreak and sand fixation, catering and entertainment, leisure and vacation, photography creation, and sightseeing tourism. It has been rated as the most beautiful place in Gansu Province in autumn.
When a cool autumn breeze blows across the desert, the poplar forest changes from dark green to light yellow, and then to apricot yellow. Climbing high and looking far away, the golden autumn ocean is refreshing. The setting sun is vast, and the evening glow is a touch. The poplars change from golden yellow to golden red, and finally to a brown red, gradually blending into the hazy night. After a night of frost, the poplar forest is as red as the maple leaves of Xiangshan Mountain, as if it is burning. And on the crown branches of each tall poplar tree, light green and light yellow leaves occasionally flash, staggered and colorful. When the autumn wind blows, the golden leaves of the poplars fall to the ground with a "rustling" sound, and the ground is covered with a golden carpet, brilliant and solemn.
Walking in the poplar forest is like entering a fairyland in mythology. The dense poplars are all kinds of strange and varied. The sturdy poplars are difficult for several people to hug, and the tall ones are 70 to 80 feet high. The strange ones are like dragons leaping and twisting wildly, which is amazing. The dense leaves are also unique. The leaves of young poplars are narrow and small, like the willow eyebrows of a girl, and people often mistake them for willows; the leaves of middle-aged poplars become oval or triangular, like the birch in Xing'an Mountains; the leaves of old poplars are elliptical, and even more amazing, there are several different shapes of leaves growing on the upper and lower layers of the crown of the same poplar, which is amazing.

It is now October, the golden autumn, which is also the most beautiful season of the Populus euphratica forest. If I were to describe my feelings, it would be that everything I see is gold.

For me who loves photography, this is really a niche and great place to take photos. The tickets are not expensive. It costs 30 yuan per car to drive into the scenic area. The scenery is beautiful and cheap, and the scenic area is divided into different areas. If you play carefully, it is not a problem to stay there for an afternoon. Of course, although you can enter without driving, I don’t think I have seen anyone who walks alone. In such a large scenic area, if you just walk, I can’t hide it from you.

There is a map in the scenic area, and each area is clearly marked. When driving in the scenic area, there are road signs at every corner, and there are only one or two roads, so it is very difficult to get lost. If you really can't, just drive in the direction of the traffic.

To be honest, I came here just to take pictures, and other than "Oh, the scenery is nice", I didn't have any other feelings.

This is a newly developed scenic spot in recent years. It is not very well-known and there are not many tourists. You can drive into the scenic spot by paying a fee. Follow the road signs and there are several good scenic spots on the road where you can stop and play. It was September 29th, and half of the leaves of the poplars turned yellow. In half a month, it should be its most beautiful season.

Jinta Populus euphratica forest is the largest artificial Populus euphratica forest in Northwest China. It is a successful example of human afforestation to stabilize the ecology by wind and sand. October happens to be the autumn of Populus euphratica! After entering the gate, we passed through the sea of sand, the Elaeagnus angustifolia forest, and headed straight to the Jinbo Lake surrounded by the Populus euphratica forest. From a distance, most of the leaves of the Populus euphratica have changed from dark green to light yellow, or apricot yellow. Under the blue sky, in the barren desert, the Populus euphratica trees are as bright and beautiful as the sun, but they are also strange and varied, which is breathtaking. Walking quietly in the young and spiritual Populus euphratica forest is like being in a colorful oil painting. Standing under the tree, silently looking up, staring at the midday sun shining through the Populus euphratica leaves, the leaves are exquisitely and beautifully hit by the sun. Following the sandy forest path, we found the Jinbo Lake all the way, and couldn't help but wonder, where did this pool of clear water come from in this vast desert? Surrounding this golden expanse, there are hundreds of small white boats sailing on the sparkling lake, attracting countless tourists to play. Standing by the lake, looking into the distance, the Jinbo Lake is rippling with blue waves, the Populus euphratica forest is dazzling, the reflections on the water and the Populus euphratica, the water and the sky are one color, extremely beautiful. Looking around, whether it is the photographers carrying long guns and short guns and supporting tripods in serious creation, or the photography experts holding their mobile phones horizontally and vertically to send to their friends in seconds, or the Chinese aunts posing as models with gorgeous scarves fluttering, they are all exclaiming "too beautiful" and "too beautiful", as if other compliments seem too pretentious at this time and place. Indeed, under the dazzling sunlight, the golden leaves dance in the wind against the blue sky. The strong contrast, the vivid tones, the bright colors, even without the blessing of the morning and sunset, the beauty of the poplar is enough to make any language pale and powerless, and even the most noble camera cannot reproduce it. Some dead poplars were transplanted to the "Hero Forest" specially set up by the scenic area for tourists to worship, but this unimportant artificial "Hero Forest" can't make people feel the "heroic" characteristics of poplars. Turning around the Hero Forest, it is the Hanhai Tamarix. Looking back, more than 20,000 mu of artificially planted red willows, with different heights and red and green colors, grow tenaciously in this Gobi Desert with no visible boundaries, silently preventing wind and sand, greening the environment, and transforming saline-alkali land for humans. The desert red willow ecological landscape with light smoke, sparse trees, green shade and unique style makes tourists who come from afar deeply feel the tenacity of red willow.

The Jinta Populus euphratica forest is located near Jinta County, 8 kilometers away from the county seat. It is the largest artificial forest planted in the Hexi Corridor to resist wind and sand, and the seeds are sourced from Ejina.

The entrance fee to the scenic spot is 65 yuan, and the transportation bus in the scenic spot is 20 yuan. You can take the transportation bus or drive in by yourself, but it costs 20 yuan. In order to save time, we chose to drive by ourselves.

Climbing up the beacon tower and looking into the distance, you can see stretches of Populus euphratica forests growing wildly and stubbornly in the sunshine.

Jinbo Lake is the most essential part of Jinta Populus euphratica forest, surrounded by golden poplars. Because it is an artificial forest, there are more garden-style designs: pavilions, terraces, towers, pavilions, small bridges, flowing water, plank roads, artificial lakes, and free-range geese and ducks... You can't believe that you are in the desert.

The reflection of the poplar trees is very Chinese and martial arts-like, like the stunning red and yellow leaves in Zhang Yimou's film "Hero". It also has the feeling of oil painting. When the water ripples, it transforms into the bright and strange "Sunflower" and "Starry Sky" that I first saw. A canvas that travels through thousands of years.

The desert sky in autumn is blue and cloudless, with less sandstorms than in spring. On breezy mornings, the golden poplars outline clear contours against the blue sky. The river is as smooth as a mirror, reflecting their graceful figures. The tall and rugged desert poplars suddenly become soft here.

I have seen countless autumns that I can recall, and no place is more remote than this one. There are also many places in autumn that make people linger, and no place can be so intoxicating. The leaves of poplars are as yellow as yellow sand, soaked in the wind and frost of the northwest and the vastness of the desert.

We drove from the gate of the scenic area all the way to the Lovers' Tree and the Beacon Tower, and the autumn atmosphere filled the garden. Every October, large tracts of poplar forests turn from green to yellow. At a glance, the golden leaves under the sun dance in the wind against the blue sky. The strong contrast, bright tones, and bright colors are enough to make any language seem pale and powerless.

We walked along the plank road in the poplar forest. The branches were in various shapes and expressions. The irregular longitudinal cracks on the bark were like the marks left by time. Suddenly, an autumn breeze blew, and the golden leaves of the poplars fluttered to the ground, covering the ground with a golden carpet, brilliant and solemn. The scene in front of us seemed like a fairyland in mythology.

The poplar forest in Jinta is particularly beautiful, one of the reasons being that it is next to the azure Jinbo Lake. The golden leaves are reflected in the clear water, and flocks of ducks swim around in the lake, disrupting the reflections in the water, but adding a bit of life to this bleak autumn. This beautiful scene, like an oil painting, is fascinating.

As the sun sets, the leaves of the poplars change from golden yellow to golden red, and finally to brown red, gradually blending into the hazy night. The poplars only exist for more than ten days of their beauty, and the next encounter will take another year. If you come too early, you will not see its brightest color, and if you come too late, the autumn wind will blow off its leaves. May this heroic tree of the desert continue to thrive in the Gobi Desert.

The Jinta Populus euphratica forest scenic area is not located in Ejina Banner, but in Jiuquan City, Gansu Province. It is an artificially planted poplar forest, not wild.

The biggest attraction of this scenic spot is Jinbo Lake. There are many ponds where you can take pictures of the reflections of the poplar trees. Although the poplar trees here are artificially planted, they are still very beautiful and the reflections are also very beautiful. It is worth a visit!

Private cars are allowed to enter the Jinta Populus euphratica forest scenic area, but I still took the wild road to save money...

There are also vendors soliciting business in the parking lot at the entrance of the scenic spot. They drive tourists to the fence next to the scenic spot, easily open the lock of the iron gate of the fence, let the tourists in, charge 40 yuan per person, and then the tourists can walk around inside by themselves.

But the wild road to Jinta Populus euphratica forest is very unreliable! After entering from the fence, you need to walk 3 kilometers to see the reflection of the Populus euphratica forest, and this dealer does not give tickets. You can't even take the bus out of the scenic area. It's a scam! It is recommended to go through the formal channels here and buy tickets from the gate to enter.

By Wild Dust |

The dense roots are firmly planted at the bottom of the water, and the fallen leaves cover the water surface. At first glance, the poplar forest looks like it is growing in the yellow soil.

If not many leaves fall, the lake water will reflect the scenery like a mirror. The blue sky and white clouds will also be reflected in the reflection, blending into a series of beautiful oil paintings with rich colors.

Looking out from the forest, the treetops that cover the sky are glowing golden under the sunlight; looking into the dense forest from outside the forest, the hustle and bustle is as red as a bright red cloud.

We came to the Jinta Populus euphratica forest and spent 85 yuan on tickets to take the scenic area bus to the core Populus euphratica forest scenic area of Jinbo Lake.

I counted the cost of tickets to the Populus euphratica forest scenic spot for three days + scenic area bus + boat ticket totaled 705 yuan, which is indeed not cheap.

Populus euphratica is a tree species that grows in arid continental climate conditions. It likes light, is heat-resistant, resistant to atmospheric drought, resistant to salinity, and resistant to wind and sand. It grows poorly in hot and humid climate conditions and heavy clay soils. Populus euphratica evolved in this environment, and its metabolism is extremely slow, resulting in its long lifespan. It can live up to about a hundred years in sandy soil and under good water conditions.

The reason why it is said that the poplar tree does not fall down for a thousand years after its death is because the roots of the poplar tree are very deep, its wood is very hard, and after its death, due to the drought and lack of rain in the desert, it is difficult for decomposers (scavengers, microorganisms) in nature to survive, making it decompose slowly and difficult to fall down.

Populus euphratica, like Danxia, has almost become everyone's obsession, but it's really not that interesting. I'll try the wild poplars in Luntai next time. It is said that Jinta is better than Ejina, so how bad is Ejina.

By SUNNYOUNG |

The area is still very beautiful, but there are obvious signs of artificial planting. There are really too many people in the core area of Jinbo Lake

Jinta Populus euphratica forest scenic area is located in Chaohu Forest Farm to the west of the county seat. There are tens of thousands of acres of artificial Populus euphratica forest, Elaeagnus angustifolia, Tamarix tamarisk and other plants unique to the arid northwest region. Populus euphratica is the most lush in this forest area, and its leaves turn yellow in autumn, which is very beautiful. The ticket prices here are different in off-season and peak season, and the difference is quite large.

The Jinta scenic spot is a scenic spot that we particularly enjoyed and liked, and it can even be said to be the top 1 of the whole trip. The attitudes of the staff we met were very good, the scenic spot was reasonably set up, and you can drive directly in by car. The attractions are concentrated, and it is easy and not tiring to play.

This year, I was shocked by the flow of people in Ejina Banner, so I chose Jinta Populus euphratica forest, which gave us a big surprise on our trip.

Walking and shooting along the way,

Sighing all the way, being intoxicated all the way,

The thing people talked about most along the way was how beautiful it was, how beautiful it was!

We only regret not having read enough books when we need them. There is no other word to describe such a beautiful scenery except "too beautiful"!

Along the way, staff reminded us that it was more beautiful inside!

After repeated reminders from the staff, everyone finally arrived at the most beautiful place!

The beauty here is the most beautiful I have ever seen. The bright sky brings its blue hue. The leaves of the poplar trees are charming and colorful under the penetration of light. They are dazzling, golden, and translucent. The leaves with yellow-green color add color to this splendid splendor. The graceful branches show her enchantment, and the thick trunks show his majesty. It is difficult to draw this shape and color with thick ink and heavy colors. As the light moves, the color also changes. I always want to expand the range of what I can see, and I accidentally get burned by the sunlight! If you look carefully, you will find that there are several forms of leaves on a tree. I saw willow leaves and elliptical shapes, which made me very excited for a while!

The pictures show the Populus euphratica forest in the morning and in the sunset! The Populus euphratica forest is so beautiful when the weather is good! It is estimated that in two years, there will be a lot of people

Populus euphratica - "Live for three thousand years without dying, die for three thousand years without falling, fall without decaying for three thousand years"

A very nice place, really beautiful

The Jinta Populus euphratica forest is like a fairy tale world. After entering here, you really feel like you are in a fairy tale. Any random shot is a screensaver without any filter. There are nine scenic spots in the scenic area. The most time-consuming one is the Jinbo Populus euphratica forest, so you can try to arrange your time here.

The last bus is at 18:50. You can buy a ticket and drive into the scenic area, so you don't have to worry about the last bus.

The Jinta Desert Poplar Forest is located in Chaohu Forest Farm, west of Jinta County, Jiuquan City, Gansu Province. It is part of the Three North Shelterbelt System and has tens of thousands of acres of artificial Poplar forest. It belongs to a forest system of the Ejina original Poplar forest.

We went there on October 4th. There were too many self-driving cars (all stuck in the scenic area), so we chose the scenic area shuttle bus, got off at the Beacon Tower Station, and walked to the core scenic area of Jinbo Lake. In the peak season, I really don't recommend driving in. There is not much walking distance, and it's fun.

By Snow Ridge |

The Jinta Desert Poplar Forest Scenic Area is located on the north side of the middle section of the ancient Silk Road, 8 kilometers northwest of Jinta County, Gansu Province. The difference between the Jinta Poplar Forest and the Ejina is that there is a lake with clear water, and the reflections of the poplars on the water are the same color as the sky.

The Populus euphratica forest in Jinta is exquisite and more energetic; the Populus euphratica forest in Ejina is majestic, with historical heritage and historical stories. If the beauty of the Populus euphratica forest in Ejina is like the rough and muscular men in the northwest, then the Populus euphratica in Jinta is like the girls in the northwest, slender and beautiful, but not delicate, which makes your heart beat fast.

By lillian |

October is the best time to see the Populus euphratica forest. The ticket to Jinta Populus euphratica forest is 65 yuan, and the eco-friendly car is 20 yuan. Since local private cars can enter the park, the traffic in the park is slightly congested. The eco-friendly car travels in one direction and passes some small attractions on the way. The main scenic spot is the Populus euphratica forest centered on Jinbo Lake. Get off at the Beacon Tower and walk all the way to Jinbo Lake along the wooden plank road~

The blue sky is full of autumn atmosphere. It is about 20 minutes' drive from the city of Dunhuang and is relatively small in scale.

By Fei Aiyongge |

We went there late, and the Jinta Populus euphratica forest had already lost a lot of leaves. It would have been better if we went there a week earlier. The Populus euphratica forest is particularly beautiful under the sunset, so you must wait until sunset.

The Jinta Populus euphratica forest is a Populus euphratica forest in the water. It has a vibrant beauty and a graceful beauty.

After entering the scenic area, the most common phrase we said was "It's so beautiful, let's refresh our eyes". The tourists around us were also impressed by the scenery in front of us. Everyone's eyes showed happiness and joy. People stopped to stay, took out their own cameras to take pictures of the beautiful scenery in front of them, or laughed and played in groups of three or five. In this golden paradise on earth, people have forgotten their troubles, and everyone is happy and satisfied! This golden poplar forest is full of vitality and vigor. It has both the beauty of life in full bloom and the graceful beauty of small bridges, flowing water and people's homes. The golden woods, clear lake water and blue sky form a charming landscape. I can't help but sigh: It turns out that there is such a beautiful paradise on earth in the world!

I originally thought that lunch in the scenic area would be extremely expensive, but the price of lunch in the Jinta Populus euphratica forest scenic area is the same as outside.

By The stupid Ah Dai Dai |

The ticket price for Jinta Populus euphratica forest is 60 yuan per person. It is rumored that the most beautiful Populus euphratica forest in the scenic area is at Jinbo Lake, but after going there, I found that the most beautiful Populus euphratica forest is actually on both sides of the long wooden plank road leading to Jinbo Lake.

By evening |

Jinta Populus euphratica forest is beautiful and delicate. Because I saw Jinta Populus euphratica forest first and went to Ejina Populus euphratica forest the next day, I was still happy with the beauty of Jinta Populus euphratica forest. But time was tight, and the ticket was not required before. After it became popular, a circle was formed to collect tickets, 85 yuan, but the service attitude was good and there was nothing to say.

The Jinta Populus euphratica forest is artificially planted. Although it is not as majestic and beautiful as the Ejina Populus euphratica forest, I think they each have their own beauty. I suggest you go there.

By Nangong Poetry |

Compared with the Populus euphratica forest in Ejina Banner, the Populus euphratica forest in Jinta is more beautiful because it grows near water and its reflection in the water is very beautiful.

By Mouse.D |

You can drive into Jinta Populus euphratica forest by yourself, of course there are also tour buses, which probably include the sea of flowers, ancient Populus euphratica forest, strange forest, red willow and the most essential waterside Populus euphratica forest. I can't remember the name, but it's probably like this. Compared with Ejina Populus euphratica forest, Jinta Populus euphratica forest is younger and the styles are not as rich as Ejina. If you are in a hurry, go directly to the last waterside Populus euphratica forest, which is quite beautiful. The ancient Populus euphratica forest is not as good as imagined, or we didn't find the oldest tree.

As there were many people in the scenic area, we were diverted to a large field of red willows, with several large trees on the roadside. The trees here were planted artificially, but planting trees is a good thing anyway!

The Populus euphratica forest of Jinbo Lake is the core scenic spot. The Populus euphratica forests have various shapes, some in patches, and some alone in the center of the lake, each with its own characteristics. Visitors are amazed by the clear, bright and exquisite reflection of the Populus euphratica forest. The azure sky is reflected in the water, and the perfect blend of blue and yellow, the amazing colors, echo the small bridges and flowing water in the scenic area, which is refreshing. Play time: half a day, take pictures of the sunset. Play tips: You can drive into the scenic area by yourself and go directly to the core scenic spot Jinbo Lake. There are multiple lakes in Jinbo Lake. Just find angles along the lakes to take pictures. Jinta Populus euphratica forest is a man-made attraction and a park. The Populus euphratica trees are native. The scenic area is surrounded by Populus euphratica trees. Bridges, flowing water and lakes of various shapes are built. The reflections of the Populus euphratica and the blue sky in the lake are particularly beautiful. The scenic area also has a desert area and a red willow forest area. Just play in the core area for half a day in the afternoon. There are also white geese in the lake, which is very lively. It is very artistic to take silhouettes at sunset

The golden poplar forest is really beautiful. When I put the first photo into the album, I was very excited. This is the beautiful scenery I want. I was shocked all the way. How can it be so beautiful? I really want to stay in it and appreciate it slowly. Here, I missed the reflection of the largest lake, but I got a large reed marsh. I love it here. I keep taking pictures and playing. The street scenery under the sunset is also beautiful. Here I saw the sunset like salt egg yolk. This kind of beauty can only be seen with the eyes, and it is impossible to put it into the photo. As the largest native poplar forest scenic spot in the northwest region, its scenery has long been extremely famous. The best viewing time is from 9.30 to 10.8. How many people drove thousands of kilometers to come here during the Golden Week of November to witness this beautiful scenery. I have always been full of expectations and specially adjusted my vacation to come here, just for that golden look. With full expectations, I was stunned at the first sight of entering the scenic spot. Is this really the poplar forest I am looking forward to? Why is it such a scene? The first sentence that echoed in my head was, I'm sorry, you are late, my golden moment has passed. Alas, there is nothing we can do if we don't encounter the best time. This year, the leaves turned yellow earlier than in previous years, and it happened to be windy before we came, and the leaves were blown off, so it became the scenery we saw when we first came in. Well, anyway, it has already been like this, and there is no way to make it come back, so just enjoy it. I knew before I came that there are a total of 8 bridges in the Populus euphratica forest. The scenery from Bridge 2 to Bridge 4 is the most beautiful, and the scenery of Bridge 7 and Bridge 8 is also good, so I planned to walk from the back to the front from the beginning, but in the end I became a tourist with the flow of people and started from Bridge 2. There is only walking from Bridge 1 to Bridge 2. As I continued to go deeper, I still found many Populus euphratica with yellow leaves. Of course, there are more tourists where there are more leaves. From Bridge 4 to Bridge 7, it is really not an exaggeration to describe it as desolate. Looking at the bare branches with fallen leaves all over the ground, my heart became more sad. The 8 bridges are actually sand slopes, where you can play with helicopters, gliders, sand motorcycles, and ride camels. For me, who was really exposed to the desert for the first time, this was really an unexpected surprise. The sense of loss given to me by the poplar forest in front of me was completely offset at this moment. If you don’t walk in person, you don’t know how difficult it is to walk in the desert. You sink into the sand with every step you take, which is really physically demanding. After playing, I feel that my body has been drained of strength.

The reflection of the lake is very beautiful, and the best thing about the poplars is that they are beautiful with green and yellow.

It's just a big park. The scenic bus is too slow, the management is very chaotic, the bus stops are hard to find, the bus doesn't stop at all stops, and the route is completely unclear.

2018.10.8

The opening time is written as 6:00, but it is actually 7:00

Tickets are 65 yuan, half-price tickets are 30 yuan

Scenic area sightseeing bus 20 yuan

Self-driving car with less than 7 seats is 100 yuan

Jinta Populus euphratica forest is located in Jinta County, Jiuquan City. You can choose to take a bus from Jiuquan or Jiayuguan to Jinta Bus Station. Our outbound trip was from Jiayuguan Bus Station to Jinta Bus Station, the fare was 14 yuan/person, and the journey took 1 hour; then we shared a car from Jinta Bus Station to Jinta Populus euphratica forest, 5 yuan/person, and the journey took 10 minutes. On the return trip, because we were going to Zhangye, we chose to take a bus from Jinta to Jiuquan. There was a traffic jam all the way, and it took 1.5 hours to get to Jiuquan Xiguan Bus Station. It cost 12 yuan to take a taxi to Jiuquan South. Therefore, even if you are a self-driving individual traveler, the transportation is still convenient.

Back to the Jinta Populus euphratica forest, the sightseeing bus has four parking spots. You can get off at the second Elaeagnus euphratica forest spot and walk to the wild Populus euphratica forest. The shape and color of the Populus euphratica here are better than those of the artificial Populus euphratica. At the third getting-off spot, you can climb the beacon tower to overlook the entire forest area, and then walk to Jinbo Lake. The scenery along the way is even better than that of Jinbo Lake.

Overall, if you want to see the Populus euphratica forest but don’t want to go to the farther Ejina, Jinta is a good choice.

By Nana |

The scenery is very beautiful. The only drawback is that the scenic area is poorly managed and there is no one to guide the parking lot, which leads to congestion of vehicles.

By Faye Wong |

Because of the water, the poplar forest in Jinta is more lively, and the golden leaves are reflected in the blue lake, which is beautiful! There are not many people in the scenic area. Private cars can drive into the scenic area, or you can take the electric car in the scenic area. Personally, I think the wild poplar forest, beacon tower and Jinbo Lake are the most worth visiting. You can take the scenic area car to the beacon tower, climb up to look at the red willow forest, and then walk along the wooden plank road to Jinbo Lake. The scenery along the way is very beautiful.

By Kina |

The current ticket price is 65 yuan per person, which is quite good compared to other attractions. The route in the scenic area is relatively long, said to be 16 kilometers, and you can drive in a 30-meter car. We went straight to Jinbo Lake in the center of the scenic area. The weather is good, and the pictures taken are really beautiful. The opera singers in the distance are a bit noisy, and the public music in the park damages the environment. It belongs to the Taiwanese poplar songs that were popular in junior high school for the post-80s... What Pan Wei and Berlin Junjie... This is not as melodious as Zhangye Danxia music, which is more pleasing to the eye when combined with the scenery. Lunch was solved in the snack area of Jinbo Lake. I ordered a few restaurants with bad tastes. It is not recommended to dine in the park. Apart from these shortcomings, Jinta Poplar Forest is generally a beautiful place worth visiting. Different from the land Poplar Forest in Ejina Banner, the beauty here is still very unique. There are also videos on the personal homepage for reference for friends who are going there.

By Lee of Self-Play |

The highlight section is near Jinbo Lake, and because of the abundant water, it is more lively than the Ejina Populus euphratica forest. When we arrived, the weather was bad and the fog was very heavy. We caught up with the rare opportunity of seeing the Populus euphratica in the fog.

You can drive into the scenic area, but you need to buy a ticket separately. The two times I came to the scenic area, it was foggy, but the photos still look great, like a series of oil paintings appearing in front of my eyes.

The leaves are slowly turning yellow. You can spend a whole day here. There are desert flowers, poplar forests, camels, and sheep.

By Cat and his Schrödinger |

I went there during the National Day last year. I didn't expect much, but it gave me a pleasant surprise. There were not many people and the price was high. Compared with Ejina, the trees are younger, less majestic but more beautiful.

By Long bow |

There are not many tourists and vehicles. Private cars can drive directly in and drive counterclockwise around the scenic area. There are large and small parking lots near various scenic spots. Not long after entering the scenic area, there is a beautiful forest trail.

There are few people and cars in the whole scenic area. For us who are visiting there for the first time, we are very happy. The yellow color is so beautiful when matched with the blue sky and white clouds.

The child wanted to ride a camel, and finally found the only camel in the scenic area. It was the only one in business. It just circled around the small sandbags in the haystack. The price was a bit expensive, and we were disappointed again. We had been talking about camels in Dunhuang before, and we could only hope for Badain Jaran the next day. Putting aside the episode of the camel, I was still very satisfied overall, perhaps because it was the first time I saw the poplar trees in autumn.

By Overlooking the sea of clouds |

Super good, I went there on October 20, 2017, and I feel that the color of the leaves is better than that of Ejina.

We took the scenic sightseeing bus to the beacon tower and walked along the wooden plank road, stopping and looking. Populus euphratica is a very magical plant: when it is young, its leaves are narrow and small; when it is young, its leaves become oval or triangular; when it is old, its leaves become elliptical; sometimes you can see several different shapes of leaves on the same poplar tree, which is amazing.

At first glance, there are densely packed poplar trees with leaves of different shades of golden color mixed with some green. When the breeze blows, the leaves dance and rustle like rolling waves; the straight trunks are hidden under the golden splendor, growing stubbornly.

The scenery of the Populus euphratica forest is truly beautiful

Also great for taking photos

By Good Luck |

It is a scenic spot suitable for general sightseeing. It is very beautiful, but if you are a photography enthusiast, you may not find that desolate feeling here.

Jinta Populus euphratica Forest (official website: ***, ticket price 85 yuan/person) is located in Chaohu Forest Farm, west of Jinta County, Jiuquan City, Gansu Province, and is part of the Three North Shelterbelt System. This is an artificial poplar forest, and other guides also recommend it. It is really beautiful. I personally think it is okay to spend half a day here~~

By Kai Ge |

In early October, the scenery here is very beautiful, but the scenic area is a little small.

By yaoermeng |

After visiting the Ejina Populus euphratica forest, I felt how good Jinta could be. I had not planned to go there originally, but later, because I passed by Jinta County, my companion suddenly had a fever, so I stopped by to kill time. I didn't expect it to be a surprise. It was really beautiful like heaven. The pure blue sky reflected the golden leaves and the ripples in the water. I have never been to a more beautiful place. There is a bus inside Jinta. You don't need to go to the first and second stops. Go straight to the central lake. No matter how you take pictures there, the scenery is not as beautiful as the people.

By Arale big glasses |

Go quickly, the place has already been conquered by the scarf maids.

By Go to bed early |

When I went there, the leaves were turning yellow, and the trees were pretty good. The age of the trees should be relatively young.

The most famous scenic spot of Jinta Populus euphratica is Jinbo Lake, which is full of rippling blue water and dazzling golden Populus euphratica forest.

By see the way |

The Jinta Populus euphratica forest is not in Ejina, but is located in Jiuquan, Gansu.

The poplar forest here is actually an artificial shelter forest planted as part of a desert control project. The original forest farm did not charge admission in previous years.

It is still a long way after entering the gate. You can drive into the scenic area by car, but you have to buy a self-driving car ticket at the same price as taking the scenic area bus.

There are several scenic spots along the way where you can get off. The main scenic spot is Jinbo Lake, which is the terminal for the scenic spot bus. The scenery there is the most beautiful.

Jinta Populus euphratica forest is an artificial forest. The trees are relatively straight. The canopy is not as large as that of Ejina Populus euphratica forest, and the shapes are not as rich. However, due to the presence of water, the reflection in the water is very beautiful, and in fact, it is not inferior to that of Ejina Populus euphratica forest. It is a different style from Ejina Populus euphratica forest, and it is recommended not to miss it.

The photos taken are also very beautiful. There is no need for PS. Just take a picture with your mobile phone and it will be a beautiful picture.

The loop plan doesn't allow you to go to the Populus euphratica forest in Ejina Banner, but the Jinta in Jiuquan is a feast for the eyes. I didn't expect that after the Jinta Populus euphratica forest was built into a scenic spot, you can drive in and see the desert Populus euphratica at sunset. As soon as you enter the Populus euphratica forest, both sides are planted with yellow and red pines and cypresses and small bushes. The bright red and dry gray reeds, combined with the gray-yellow desert, are really a tones with a built-in filter!

By Dancing like snow |

The weather was bad on the day I went there, otherwise the photos would have been great.

By Wild Wind |

I went there on October 1 this year. Most of the poplar trees had turned yellow, and the scenery was beautiful. Especially when I arrived at Jinbo Lake, I saw the golden poplar trees reflected in the water. It was very beautiful and worth a visit.

The ticket price is 65 yuan per person, plus 20 yuan for the shuttle bus within the park. If you are traveling by car, you can drive in. It is recommended to see it for convenience.

The Jinta Populus euphratica forest is really beautiful

When the sun just rises in the morning, the poplar forest stretches quietly in the morning light, and the water and sky reflect each other, which is beautiful!

The glittering waves of Jinbo Lake, reflecting the shadows of poplar trees, form a wonderful underwater world. Suddenly, I really want to walk in it...

As the sun sets and the sky darkens, the poplar forest seems to be burning in the sunset. The breeze blows, and the golden and red leaves sway left and right, just like fairies in red dancing in the Gobi Desert...

By Full Moon Pea |

In mid-October, the Jinta Populus euphratica forest was already full of yellow leaves. The yellow leaves all over the sky at Jinbo Lake were like being in a fairy tale world. The lake reflected the beautiful poplars, which made people linger. The only regret was that I didn't have enough time to come from Dunhuang, so I just hurriedly visited for two hours. The transportation in Jinta Populus euphratica forest is very good, and the eco-friendly car only costs 20 yuan. The gate to Jinbo Lake is still far away. If you are in a hurry, you must take the eco-friendly car. There are stops at every stop. If you have enough time, it is recommended to take at least half a day. If you are in a hurry, you can take a car directly to Jinbo Lake for two or three hours. The highlight is Jinbo Lake. Also, friends who drive by themselves can drive into the scenic area, which is very good!

By I Am You |

Jinbo Lake is the most beautiful place in the scenic area. Get off the car at the beacon tower and walk along the wooden plank road. In the sun, the golden leaves dance in the wind against the blue sky. The vivid tones and bright colors are breathtakingly beautiful. The leaves of young poplars are narrow and small, while the leaves of mature poplars become oval or triangular; the leaves of old poplars are elliptical. If you look closely, you will find that there are several different shapes of leaves growing on the upper and lower layers of the crown of the same poplar.

Transportation: Jiuquan is 53 kilometers away from Jinta, and the shuttle bus costs 9 yuan per person, and the journey takes about 1 hour. The earliest shuttle bus leaves at 8:00. (The South Bus Station opens at 7:00) Take the green bus from Jinta Bus Station, which costs 3 yuan per person and goes directly to the Populus euphratica forest scenic area. A taxi costs 15 yuan.

Ticket price: 65 yuan/person, sightseeing bus 20 yuan/person, self-driving car 30 yuan/car.

It is very big and beautiful inside, divided into many scenic areas, so be sure to leave at least half a day to visit!

By ^Junjun'Mushroom🍄 |

There are far fewer people than in Ejina Populus euphratica forest, but the scenery is no less beautiful.

By The remaining sun shines on the deserted terrace |

During the National Day holiday, the ticket price is 65 yuan. Whether you drive yourself or take the scenic area tour bus, you need to pay an additional 20 yuan per person. However, the scenery of the Populus euphratica forest scenic area is still good, but it is not worth the price.

I haven't reached Ejina Banner yet, but just looking at the planning of the Populus euphratica forest area here, I can see that it is well planned. I came here on September 29th and saw that many leaves had turned yellow.

By Little White Frog |

Not bad, the area is large, you can spend a long time walking around, it is recommended to go and have a look if you have enough time

By Xia Jie |

Although the Jinta Populus euphratica forest is not as famous as the Ejina Banner Populus euphratica forest, it is unique in its elegance and charm, and is a beautiful sight worth visiting.

By Chasing Dreams |

Jinta Populus euphratica is located in Jinta County, Jiuquan City. It is part of the "Three North Shelterbelt" system and has grown to a considerable size. October is the best time to see the Populus euphratica and is worth a visit. However, you can only see lush greenery in other seasons, so you must grasp the time well.

1. Jinta County is located in Jiuquan City, close to Jiayuguan, and is also suitable for self-driving tours. The road conditions are average, because it is a small road. Most of the time, it is a two-way single-lane road, which is basically difficult to overtake. Moreover, the road surface is average and not very good. There are more self-driving vehicles during the tourist season, so you need to be careful when driving, but it seems that it is not very convenient to take public transportation. This is not very good! This time it was because of my parents-in-law, so we came again. 2. The price of the scenic spot is really unacceptable. Two years ago, we drove here and only spent 10 yuan for the entrance fee. We could enter the scenic spot with our car. The price in 2016 has risen to 65 yuan per person, plus 20 yuan for the sightseeing car. Ah ha ha, my baby is so distressed! 3. The photos taken don’t look as good as before. This is related to the weather. The temperature this year is high and the leaves have not turned yellow. This is not a man-made reason, which is understandable. There is basically no change in the scenic spot. The scenic area is very large and feels bigger than before. The sightseeing bus takes you there. There are only two boarding points. The main scenic area is still the poplar forest. The poplar trees are more beautiful in the reflection of the water! 4. The red willows are particularly bad this year. I really don’t see any spots. I don’t know if it is also related to the climate. 5. The most important thing is that the scenic area now has unified sightseeing buses, and there are only a few boarding points for sightseeing buses, so it is far less convenient than before when you can drive into the scenic area by yourself. You can pull over and take pictures at any time, so you will encounter many beautiful scenery, but now if you want to discover it, you can only rely on your two legs, but it is too difficult to rely on two legs for such a large scenic area.

In the golden autumn of October, large tracts of poplar forests turn from green to yellow.

This is a newly popular scenic spot. It is an artificial secondary forest, but the trees are beautiful and Jinbo Lake is still very beautiful. It is worth a visit.

By Nanyangzhi |

The Jinta Populus euphratica forest seems to be still under planning and construction, and has started charging admission now. It seems that the ticket price is 85 yuan per person (without tour bus). We usually go there when we charter a bus to Ejina. I don’t know where specifically we can charter a bus.

By No words |

The Jinta Populus euphratica forest was not originally planned, but it was recommended by my friends. It was very good and the scenery was beautiful!

By Tai Chi Rabbit |

The artificially planted trees are still a bit young, not as unique as the wild poplar forest in Ejina, but it is also worth a look, so you can understand the government's Three North Shelterbelt Construction.

By Flying Cao Pang |

There are some differences between the Jinta Populus euphratica forest and that of Ejina, but the Jinta has its own unique charm and feeling. I think the reflection of the Jinta is more beautiful!
