Kongtong Mountain is located in Pingliang City, Gansu Province. The main peak is 2,123 meters above sea level and the forest coverage rate is over 95%. Kongtong Mountain has majestic peaks and steep cliffs, which seem like the work of gods. The vast forests are shrouded in mist and fog, like a fairyland. The high gorges and flat lakes, where the water and sky are one color, have the charm of the Lijiang River. It is rich in the majesty of the northern mountains and the beauty of the southern scenery. The solemn and elegant eight platforms, nine palaces, twelve courtyards, forty-two building complexes and seventy-two stone houses and caves are magnificent and rich in heritage. They combine the natural landscape of strange and beautiful scenery with the simple and exquisite cultural landscape, and have extremely high ornamental, cultural and scientific research value. A famous Taoist mountain with rich historical heritage and cultural traditions, where Emperor Huangdi asked for the Tao. Although it is located in the Xiliang area, it is not far from the core area of the Central Plains civilization. It also presents the characteristics of a famous mountain in the Central Plains culture. There are a series of religious palaces and temples on the mountain. The natural scenery is not top-notch, but it is also majestic and quiet and beautiful.

What we know more about is the scene where the six major sects besieged Guangmingding and the five elders of Kongtong failed to use the Seven Wound Fist and were taught a lesson.
But in reality, Kongtong is one of the true sources of martial arts. Legend has it that the leader of the Kongtong sect must learn all the kung fu of the sect before he can be competent.
Apart from this, Kongtong is also a famous mountain suitable for viewing in all seasons. We took a car to Zhongtai, the center of the scenic area, and we could wander around freely.
It's worth a visit! The ticket I booked on Fliggy: the entrance ticket + the Xiangshan Peak bus ticket cost a total of 306 yuan, which saves money and time. You can enter the park by showing the generated QR code to the staff at the ticket gate of the Ancient Town Ticket Center. The same QR code is also used for taking the bus! Accommodation is recommended for nearby B&Bs, which are economical!
Whether it is natural scenery or cultural landscape, it is worth seeing.
It was a pity that it rained heavily all day in Kongtong Mountain and we could hardly see any scenery.
The extraordinary thing about this famous Taoist mountain is not only that it is connected to the entire Guanshan Mountain Range and guards the entrance to the entire northwest, but also that it has a magnificent momentum! It is worth a visit when the weather is good, and the scenery is very beautiful. When it rises to the clouds, it is like a fairy air, with blue sky, white clouds, and spring snow.
I went there on a self-driving tour and the scenery was nice. I took my children hiking and the air was great.
Buy tickets + one-way scenic shuttle bus for 152 yuan. You must buy them in advance, otherwise no one can receive you from about 7 to 9 o'clock. It's better to scan the code. It's a pity that I didn't buy it in advance last night. At 8 o'clock, there were super many people gathered at the ticket office, but the mountain is big, I'm not afraid. The scenic shuttle bus twisted up the mountain and arrived at the location of Zhongtai. When I arrived at Zhongtai, I mainly visited the Imperial City-Xiangshan-Tongtian Bridge-return to Zhongtai-Dongtai-Zhongtai-buy the scenic shuttle bus to return to Kongtong Ancient Town. In fact, the plan is to take the scenic shuttle bus to Xiangshan, but unfortunately the Xiangshan section collapsed and I couldn't go, so I walked more. If the traffic is open, it is recommended to take Xiangshan-Tongtian Bridge-Imperial City-Zhongtai-Dongtai-Zhongtai-buy the scenic shuttle bus back to Kongtong Ancient Town. .
A famous Taoist mountain, it is the birthplace of the Kongtong School of martial arts, which is famous in China.
The entire scenic area is not large. If you take a bus from the tourist service center and are in good physical condition, you can complete the tour in five hours.
The scenery is still very unique, with great differences between summer and winter, each with its own merits.
The entrance fee to the scenic spot is 120 yuan, and the one-way ticket is 32 yuan per person, which is a bit expensive, but the road up the mountain is very steep, so the ticket is worth some money. There is also a cable car in the scenic area, which I did not take.
There is a Kongtong Mountain Geological Museum in the scenic area, which is located at the top of the mountain with the highest altitude. It is highly recommended.
It is also highly recommended to go up the mountain early in the morning, so that around 2pm, when others have gone up the mountain, you can go down the mountain. In short, it is a great experience to start the tour early!
The scenic area is relatively well-developed. It is the first mountain of Taoism in China and the place where Emperor Huangdi asked Guangchengzi for advice. It is worth a visit.
In general, the natural scenery of Kongtong Mountain is considered to be beautiful in the northwest, but it is slightly inferior to several famous mountains. There are not many ancient buildings preserved on the mountain, which cannot be compared with Wudang Mountain. The scenic area is relatively close to Pingliang City, the transportation is convenient, and the ticket price is acceptable.
The birthplace of the Kongtong School of Wulin. A Taoist paradise.
I went there in September, the scenery was beautiful, bring enough batteries.
Beautiful as a picture. The air in the mountains is fresh and the scenery is pleasant
May Day trip to Kongtong
First of all, as a Pingliang person, it is unquestionable for me to go to Kongtong Mountain, but it does raise a lot of questions: Why do you, a Pingliang person, go to Kongtong Mountain? As for why? Maybe I think the first 5A-level scenic spot I have ever visited should be here. This feeling is deep on the land where I was born and raised. In this way, we took a bus to Pingliang West Station. The West Station feels a little better than the East Station, perhaps because Kongtong Mountain is here. The development of Pingliang City has far exceeded my imagination. It is no less prosperous than Lanzhou, but there are endless green mountains, green waters, blue sky and white clouds. The green park here is very large. There are several groups of square dance teams performing here at night. You can dance with confidence and dance easily. Next to it is Liuhu Park, which is pleasant to come and go. The reason why it can be so empty and fearless. According to my observation, it is because the road design here is particularly good, and it passes through the underground cleverly, which adds a bit of quietness.
Liuhu Park is a natural landscape garden in Longdong. It has a unique landscape of "Lake in the willows, willows in the lake". I heard from the grandfather here that there will be cultural performances at 7 o'clock in the evening, but I was not lucky enough to enjoy it. When I arrived at the foot of Kongtong Mountain, it seemed that there was a car show, so I walked on the red carpet and showed off the T-stage. I heard from the staff that there were not many people on May Day this year. It was a bit crowded when taking the cable car, but the rest of the way was smooth. The cultural feeling was that there were Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism, because I met both monks and Taoists, and there were also stone tablets with Confucius written on them. The cultural integration can be traced back to the ancient Silk Road. What impressed me most was the ladder to heaven. Oh, to be honest, even a physique like me could not lie on it without rest. Slowly arrived at Xiangshan, which is the highest place in Kongtong Mountain. There is an antique high-rise building next to it that is particularly tall and grand. The plaque reads Kongtong Mountain Geological Museum. It is probably too late and the door is locked. After breathing in the air over 2,000 meters above sea level, we went to catch the last train. I really like riding this kind of green train because it always gives people the feeling of being in a movie.
The train track is getting longer and longer, and I am gradually falling asleep...
Accommodation: I booked Super 8 online. It said there was a parking lot, but when I got there, I found out it was a small private parking lot with a lot of people and the fee was not low; the hotel sheets were not clean and the service was not up to par. I will not stay there next time. Food: I recommend Fanrenju BBQ. The environment is more literary and the dishes are exquisite with Pingliang characteristics. I recommend hot and sour sea bamboo shoots, milk fermented glutinous rice eggs, barbecued meat tendons, and scones. Dongfanggong Ramen is also very good, cheap and delicious! ! Play: I went to the Pingliang Museum on the first day. It was very good. Although it was not big, it was worth seeing. It was in the Pagoda Park; I also went to Liuhu Park, which is an ordinary urban park. It was good for digestion after a meal. Let me focus on Kongtong Mountain. The scenery and humanities are really good, but the management and service are really not up to par. I drove to the tourist center (Kongtong Ancient Town) and bought tickets online and a single ticket to Xiangshan Temple for 162 yuan. I waited in line for the bus for about an hour and a half because the management of the scenic area was chaotic and I had to change buses once in the middle. I hope it will improve. We took the bus to Xiangshan Temple, which is almost the highest point, and then walked down the mountain to Zhongtai (Zhongtai-Xiangshan Temple is the essence of Kongtong scenic spot. We chose to go down the mountain to save effort). There are several steep places that are difficult to walk on May Day because there are many people. The elderly and children should choose carefully. In general, Pingliang is a small place with all the necessary facilities. The people are also very honest, clean and comfortable.
This Taoist resort is divided into four gates: east, south, west and north. The east and west gates are at the top of the mountain. You can choose to take a boat or cable car at the south gate. I started from the north gate, which is also the tourist center (if you drive yourself, it is also recommended to park your car at the tourist center. The parking lot in front of the mountain gate is very small. It is not allowed to park after parking a few cars. It is a huge pit). I bought a ticket plus a ticket to Xiangshan Temple on the top of the mountain. From the top of the mountain, I walked down. The ticket was 120 + a one-way ticket of 48 (some people would choose to sit on the middle platform and climb up for a ticket of 32), but I still bought a return ticket when I walked to the middle platform because the mountain gate was too far away from the tourist center, at least five kilometers
Here is my experience of this trip:
1. There are too few guide signs, and tourists often cannot find their destination on the mountain;
2. The scenic spots and facilities in the scenic area are outdated. I wanted to learn more about each scenic spot, but there was no introduction to the scenic spots. I just had a quick look. The telescope facilities were just for show and could not be used at all. The Wi-Fi in the scenic area could not be used. There were too few toilets on the mountain, which was very inconvenient.
3. There are hidden dangers in infrastructure construction. The mountain road is very steep, and the bricks and stones on the ground are paved in vertical stripes. Many tourists on the mountain have been slippery, especially when walking down the mountain;
4. The tourist center is too far from the mountain gate. The so-called Kongtong Town there is not very good at attracting investment, and many shops are closed;
5. The museum on the top of the mountain is pretty good.
In summary, the ticket price is too expensive, 60 in the off-season and 120 in the peak season, which is not cost-effective.
Finally, I would like to praise the staff of the scenic spot, especially the young lady who provides tourist consultation at the visitor center, and the volunteers at the middle station. They are beautiful, sweet and patient. I would like to give one of the three stars to the young lady at the visitor center😊
I have asked many friends who have been to Kongtong Mountain about this scenic spot. Some people said that this place is not bad, while others said that this scenic spot is boring, there is no scenery, and I don’t know how it was rated as a 5A scenic spot. However, after asking carefully, I was surprised to find that most friends who have been there basically have no detailed understanding of this scenic spot. Most people only know that there is a Kongtong Mountain, and their first impression is the "Seven Wound Fist" in Jin Yong's martial arts novels. The slightly better friends know that it is in Pingliang, and those who don’t know much don’t even know which province it is in. Of course, this also includes me!
However, after visiting, I personally think that the reason why this scenic spot was rated 5A is not mainly because of the scenery, but the cultural connotation. The place where Guangchengzi ascended to heaven and the place where Huangdi asked Guangchengzi for advice, all of this is inseparable from a famous "person" (or should I say "immortal") - Guangchengzi!
I don't know much about this "immortal", I just saw him in "The Investiture of the Gods". His most famous symbol is that he is one of the Twelve Golden Immortals, and his most representative item is the Fantian Seal. In "The Investiture of the Gods", this is definitely a directional weapon of mass destruction. He gave this seal to his apprentice, but the apprentice turned against him and beat him with this seal. In addition, he is also a "Virgin Mary" killer. There are only five Virgin Marys in the whole Investiture of the Gods, and he killed two of them by himself, and also beat a demon Virgin Mary back to her original form. It can be seen how powerful the Fantian Seal is. Of course, these are all contents of the novel. I didn't see it at all when I was visiting Kongtong Mountain.
When I was climbing Mount Kongtong, I actually saw the place where Emperor Huangdi asked Guangchengzi for advice. However, the place was a stone staircase called "Ladder to Heaven". The stone tablet of the place where the advice was asked was in the middle. I don't know what the two people were like at that time. Was Guangchengzi looking down from above, or were they sitting opposite each other? However, the place was so narrow! It would have been a bit crowded if they sat opposite each other.
Before going to Kongtong Mountain, I was still a little naive. I wondered if I could see the Kongtong Sect. After all, Mr. Jin's "Seven Injury Fist" is the unique skill of the Kongtong Sect. However, when I got there, I found that there were quite a lot of Taoists on Kongtong Mountain, but I didn't see them practicing martial arts. Maybe I am not destined to see them!
Back to the topic, there are many Taoist temples on Kongtong Mountain, from the highest point of Xiangshan, to the Imperial City, and then to Zhongtai, there are many large and small Taoist temples along the way, and basically all Taoist gods are worshipped. Standing on a high place and looking down, the large buildings below are all Taoist temples, and they are all old Taoist temple buildings. I think this is the main reason why Kongtong Mountain can be rated as a 5A scenic spot!
A friendly tip: If you don't want to climb the mountain, don't take the cable car, but take a car to Xiangshan, and then go all the way down from Xiangshan, which can save a lot of energy. Of course, many studies have said that going down the mountain is more knee-breaking than going up the mountain, so it depends on your personal needs! If your knees are still good but you don't have much physical strength, it's best to choose this route. The cable car doesn't go to the top as you imagine, but only to the middle platform. The section from Xiangshan to the middle platform is the real essence of the entire Kongtong Mountain.
Kongtong Mountain is a Taoist holy place. Legend has it that Emperor Huangdi sought Taoism from Guangchengzi in Kongtong Mountain, so it is called the first Taoist mountain.
The scenic spots are concentrated on the road from Zhongtai to Xiangshan Temple, so the most energy-saving way is to take a bus to Xiangshan Temple and then visit. You can buy tickets to go up the mountain at the Guangcheng Station Visitor Center. If you go directly to the mountain, you will probably have to climb the mountain. You can decide based on your own situation.
Jingmei is a sparsely populated place where you need to hike back and forth between the hills. The disadvantage is that there are few public toilets.
Very good, worth going, the photos are beautiful.
If you want to know everything about Kongtong Mountain, please search on Baidu. Here we only have some useful information about route guidance.
Looking at the map, please pay attention to three important locations, from low to high: Zhongtai, Imperial City, and Xiangshan Temple. Xiangshan Temple is the highest point in the entire scenic area, where you can see the most complete landscape, and there are sightseeing buses going up and down the mountain directly to Kongtong Ancient Town; the route from Imperial City to Zhongtai is the essence of the scenic area, with a total of three routes, which is also the focus of this article; from Zhongtai down, there are many downhill roads, including sightseeing lanes, cableways, slides (closed in August 2017) and walking trails. Since I have only walked the walking trail from Zhongtai to the East Gate, the recommendation of routes below Zhongtai can only be based on experience. In summary, my personally recommended route is: take a bus from the ancient town to Xiangshan Temple, visit Hunyuan Peak to enjoy the panoramic view, and then go down to the Imperial City. On the way, you can consider whether to take the sky bridge based on your personal physical condition; in the Imperial City, choose the east line to go down to Zhongtai via Leisheng Peak, and you can connect back to the middle line and take a short section of the sky ladder (if you have obsessive-compulsive disorder like me, you can consider going through all three lines of east, middle and west, which will be explained in detail below); after arriving at Zhongtai, you can choose to go down the mountain to the South Gate or take the cable car down the mountain via Pagoda Courtyard to view the scenery of Tanzheng Lake.
Highlight 1 - "Best panoramic view point": After visiting the Hunyuan Tower next to Xiangshan Temple, turn your back to the tower gate and the "Hunyuan Tower" stone tablet, and there will be a small stone staircase in front of you. The left side leads to the Imperial City and the Central Platform, and the right side leads to the viewing platform. Walk one or two hundred meters to the right to see the best panoramic view (better light in the afternoon), and there are almost no tourists.
Highlight 2 - "Iron Chain Tongtian Bridge": Go down from Hunyuan Tower and Xiangshan Temple for a few hundred meters to the fork in the road. Go right to the Imperial City and left to Tongtian Bridge. It takes 1,300 steps and 900 meters from here to Tongtian Bridge (recorded by a mobile phone pedometer, the actual distance may be longer, the same below), most of which is ups and downs, which will be tiring. Because you have to go back to Tongtian Bridge, it takes more than half an hour to go back and forth, so it is recommended to consider your own situation.
Highlight 3 - "Abnormal Tai Chi Diagram": The highlight of the highlight is the three routes from the Imperial City to Zhongtai, the East, Middle and West lines, which are hastily drawn on the map like a freehand Tai Chi diagram. Among them, the East Line is the most beautiful, the West Line is the most dangerous, and the Middle Line has both. If you are walking from Zhongtai to the Imperial City, just up and down without planning to go to Xiangshan Temple, it is recommended to go up the East Line, down the Middle Line; if you are walking down from the Imperial City, if you are physically fit, you can go down the Middle Line, down the East Line, and then down the West Line to Zhongtai, which will add about an hour and a half to the time of going down the mountain on a single route, but it will be perfect. Among them, the Middle Line has 1,600 steps and 1.1 kilometers, all of which are ladder-shaped mountain roads, and the actual distance is definitely longer. There are 925 steps along the entire East Line, including about 2,200 steps and 1.5 kilometers to visit scenic spots such as Baxiantai. There is a steep step of nearly 300 meters near the Line of Sky. The intersection of the west line is hard to find. It is from the restroom direction of the Imperial City rest platform. There is a narrow road going down the mountain to the west. The first section is a very steep iron chain mountain road. You must use your hands and feet. It is very difficult to walk. It is about 1400 steps and 900 meters until the West Terrace (Sheshen Cliff). After visiting the Qiyun Temple at the West Terrace, the road down is much easier. It takes about half an hour to go down the west line until you reach the intersection of Yaowang Cave and return to the main road.
The ancient scenic spot is worth a visit. Very unique.
To go to Kongtong Mountain, you must go to the ticket center, which is where you get on the bus to the top of the mountain in Kongtong Ancient Town. Don't go directly to the East Gate. You can only climb the mountain to the East Gate, climbing more than 1,200 steps first. We were fooled this morning. The parking space is 48 yuan one way, which saves a lot of energy. There are two stations for going down the mountain at Xiangshan and Zhongtai. The scenery is very good.
Climbing Kongtong Mountain is divided into the front mountain and the back mountain. The back mountain is easier to climb, but there are many people. The front mountain is more tiring. You have to walk a section of dirt road after getting off at Juxian Bridge to reach the entrance of Kongtong Mountain. The two ways to climb the mountain have their own merits.
A relatively unpopular place, many people still think of Kongtong Mountain from martial arts novels. When I was driving back from Qinghai, I passed Pingliang and stayed in Pingliang. The next day, I spent half a day to visit Kongtong Mountain. It is a famous mountain of three religions, but Taoism is still the main religion. However, Taoism is quite declining and there are few pilgrims. The old Taoist joked: thin mentor, fat monk. It is true.
It's worth a climb. The infrastructure is not sound, and most of the tourists are locals.
Kongtong Mountain has beautiful scenery and lush greenery, which is rare in the mountains in the northwest.
This year's Shaanxi tourism annual pass is free, looking forward to the trip to Kongtong!
Kongtong Mountain, a Taoist holy place, is a branch of Liupan Mountain. It has convenient transportation and beautiful scenery. It is recommended
Kongtong Mountain is a famous scenic spot. There are a lot of introductions about it on the Internet, so I don’t need to say much here. Friends who like mountains and famous rivers can spend a day here to explore it in detail. My trip to the Northwest was for the customs and culture of the Northwest, so I passed by it without entering.
I went up the mountain in April. The scenic spot is still a distance from the mountain, and you have to take a car to get up. I didn't want to take the car at first, but it was super cool when I took the car up the mountain. You can also see flowers all over the mountain along the way. Meeting my friends on Kongtong Mountain is my happiest thing. The 2,300-year-old sacred tree witnessed us walking through the unusual narrow path. The treacherous plots of the Three Kingdoms under the Tongtian Bridge, and the laughter resounded through the valley. Goodbye, friends!
It is worthy of being the No. 1 mountain in the northwest, with pavilions, towers and natural scenery all magnificent!
As a Pingliang native, I have never had the opportunity to go there, but I went to Kongtong Mountain this year. To be honest, I am really proud that there is such a beautiful scenery here.
The weather was great when I went there, and the scenery of this Taoist holy place was beautiful.
. In the morning, we reached the top of the mountain. It was rainy and foggy. We couldn't see our hands in front of us. After walking for an hour, the fog gradually dissipated and the rain stopped. Kongtong Mountain is too big. The Taoist temples are built on various hills. It is not easy for ordinary people to visit all the attractions in one day. We took the scenic bus directly to the top of Xiangshan Mountain, then visited the famous cable bridge, and then rushed to Zhongtai. It was not until almost one o'clock that we reached Zhongtai.
Kongtong Mountain is a Taoist resort. There is a Hunyuan Pagoda on the top of the mountain. There are many Taoist figures there. Unfortunately, there are too few relevant introductions. I only saw the appearance, haha! The hardware of the scenic spot is good, but the software can't keep up.
I brought my family to Pingliang for fun. Actually, the attractions were secondary, and summer vacation was the main thing. But Kongtong Mountain still amazed me. The overall feeling was better than Huashan. It is worth mentioning that the minibus going down the mountain is definitely a program of Kongtong Mountain. I sat in the co-pilot when going down the mountain, and the driver drove downhill in high gear the whole time. It was so exciting.
Pingliang City is a place of outstanding people, simple folk customs, clean city and reasonable consumption. There are opera singers and fishermen on the banks of the Jing River in the evening, and the night market is very lively at night. The food is quite good at 30 yuan per person. The Yellow River Beer produced in Gansu tastes delicious, and there are skewers of meat and roasted beef. Kongtong Mountain, a famous Taoist mountain in China, is beautiful and charming, and it is awe-inspiring.
A famous Taoist mountain with beautiful scenery and historical sites, one of the first national 5A-level scenic spots
Kongtong Mountain is located in the west of Pingliang City. It is a fortress guarding the west exit of Guanzhong in Pingliang, Gansu Province on the ancient Silk Road. It combines the unique and beautiful natural landscape with the simple and exquisite cultural landscape. Since ancient times, it has been known as "the first mountain in the west", "the wonder of the west town", and "the most beautiful mountain in the world". Among the five platforms in the scenic area, the middle platform is an important hub. The north platform, the east platform, and the south platform are very close to the middle platform and there are not many attractions. I personally feel that the core attractions of Kongtong Mountain are mainly concentrated in the area from the west of Chaotian Cave to the highest point of the scenic area, Xiangshan Temple. There are limit-challenging attractions such as the life-saving cliff of the west platform, the Tongtian Bridge across the canyon, and the nearly 300-meter-long steep ladder to the sky.
Transportation: Take bus No. 13 from the city to the east gate of the scenic area. There are sightseeing buses from Kongtong Ancient Town to Zhongtai, Xiangshan, and South Gate. There is a cable car from South Gate to Sanjiao Zen Forest in the northeast of Zhongtai, and sightseeing buses to Wangmu Palace. Tickets: 120 yuan/person in peak season (April-October), 60 yuan/person in off-season. Recommended routes for those with plenty of physical strength: East Gate-Zhongtai-Chaotianmen-Shangtianti-Imperial City-Xiangshan Temple-Tongtian Bridge-Yaowang Cave-West Terrace-Zhongtai-Beitai-Dongtai-Nantai-Wangmu Palace-South Gate-21st Road Kongtong Mountain Bus Station; Recommended routes for those with medium and low physical strength and women, children and the elderly: Xiangshan-Tongtian Bridge-Imperial City-Shangtianti-West Terrace-Chaotianmen-Zhongtai-Beitai-Dongtai-Zhongtai (take a sightseeing bus directly to Kongtong Ancient Town).
I went there on May 24, 2016. I really admire the driver's driving skills.
On June 2nd, I arrived at the back of Kongtong Mountain. I climbed up to the platform and the scenery was very ordinary. The platform is a transfer station for tourists to various scenic spots. I wanted to relieve myself, but I didn't expect that the toilets in the 5A scenic area were out of service (it seemed to have been for quite a while), so tourists had to go to the dry toilets! I believe everyone has experienced the dry toilets in the countryside? It's really disgusting!!! I left in a hurry...
The scenery at the top of the mountain is pretty good, and there are many ancient temples in Yunwu Mountain.
The deepest impression of this trip: The ticket price of 120 yuan is too high - not worth it! The stairs are steep and you are not in good health - don't climb! The toilet is out of service and you have to use the dry toilet - disgusting! The public service of 5A scenic spots is too poor! I advise everyone not to come to such scenic spots!
The scenery is mediocre and the tickets are expensive. The only benefit is that it appeased my Kongtong complex.
Famous Taoist mountain. Huangdi, Qin Shi Huang and Han Wudi, Guangchengzi and Chijingzi. Liupan Mountain and Danxia.
The scenery after snow is the most beautiful, which cannot be captured by a practical camera
Kongtong Mountain is said to be the earliest birthplace of Taoism and the "No. 1 Taoist Mountain in the World". It later developed into a fusion of Taoism, Confucianism and Buddhism. It is quiet, dangerous, foggy and beautiful!
There are many special snacks in Kongtong Town near the Taoist Holy Mountain.
Based on my personal experience of traveling to Kongtong Mountain, I would like to provide you with some suggestions for traveling to Kongtong Mountain. Kongtong Mountain is a Taoist health-preserving holy place and a national cultural relic protection unit. It is suitable for summer and early autumn travel. Since the roads in Kongtong Mountain Scenic Area are steeper, for tourists who are not in good health, I personally think that the best route should be to first take the scenic area shuttle bus at the foot of the mountain to reach Kongtong Mountain Xiangshan (note that there are 3 shuttle buses that go to different places on the mountain, so don’t take the wrong bus), and then slowly walk down the mountain along the walking path from the top of the mountain while enjoying the natural and cultural landscape of Kongtong Mountain. After arriving at Zhongtai, take the scenic area shuttle bus down the mountain, so that you can basically appreciate the beautiful scenery of Kongtong Mountain, and it doesn’t seem tired. It is not particularly recommended to hike up the mountain. Of course, if you are in good health and willing to challenge, you can also choose to hike up the mountain from Zhongtai. A special tip: if you like photography, it is best to go up the mountain early in the morning so that you can appreciate the hazy beauty of Kongtong Mountain in the clouds.
No wonder the Taoist priests would find a place to live and practice. Kongtong Mountain has a wide view, fresh air, and the sound of bells. It is quiet and nourishing, and it is worth the trip!
It's really too tiring for a lazy person like me.
It is worthy of being the first famous mountain in Taoism!!! It rained all day the day before, but it slowly cleared up the next day when we went up the mountain... There were not many tourists during the off-peak season, and there were only a few of us in the mountain, deep and quiet. I recommend going to Zhongtai Sheshenya, commonly known as the trail of turning over the kite! It is unforgettable! Using hands and feet, hanging on the rope... It is so beautiful and unforgettable. I really want to stay for three days and walk through the entire scenic area.
A Taoist holy place, where Guangchengzi practiced Taoism. When you reach the top of the mountain and look around, you will see clouds, mountains and mist, what a beautiful sight!
Kongtong Mountain not only has beautiful scenery, but also has many popular legends, which are worth visiting. The tourist transportation is as follows: 1. Walk up the mountain to Zhongtai and then start playing. If you take bus No. 13, you must get off at the terminal station Kongtong Mountain Bus Station; 2. Take the scenic area transportation bus up the mountain to Zhongtai and then start playing. If you take bus No. 13, you must get off at Kongtong Ancient Town Bus Station; 3. Take the cable car up the mountain to Zhongtai and then start playing. If you take bus No. 13, you must get off at Juxianqiao Bus Station. Tour route: Take bus No. 13 to the terminal station Kongtong Mountain Bus Station → walk up the mountain → Chaotianmen → climb the ladder → pass through the Tiandong → arrive at Huangcheng → Leisheng Peak → go down the ladder → arrive at Zhongtai → Falun Temple → go to the Pagoda Courtyard (out of the north gate) → Dongtai → Zhongtai → take the shuttle bus down the mountain.
The air in the mountains is good. I climbed all the way to the top in one morning. You can get there by bus.
The stone steps along the way are too steep, and it is still challenging for people with average physical strength to climb from the foot of the mountain to the top of Xiangshan. It is recommended to take a bus from the ancient town (visitor center) to Zhongtai, then climb to the top of Xiangshan, and then all the way down. It is best to choose a clear day and go up the mountain early, so that you can take pictures of the majestic scenery.
The first time we went there, there were a few elderly grandpas and grandmas climbing with us. When we couldn’t climb anymore, we admired those grandpas and grandmas for their strong bodies and perseverance! Unfortunately, we didn’t reach the top of the mountain the first time and missed many views. The second time I went with another group of friends, we happened to meet a group of young people born in the 1990s. When we climbed up step by step, they were basically running and laughing all the way. Suddenly I felt that I was old... It’s not easy to go out, and traveling should be energetic!
Kongtong Mountain is a holy place that combines Buddhism, Taoism and Buddhism in one mountain. Everyone has a dream of being a martial arts hero, so Kongtong Mountain is not to be missed.
The scenery is beautiful but the tickets are expensive.
To be honest, Kongtong Mountain is not what I imagined, and it is not as majestic as I imagined. I imagined that Kongtong Mountain should be a steep cliff with bare rocks. I didn’t know that Kongtong Mountain is actually covered with dense vegetation and not that steep.
Drive to the cable car station and take the cable car up the mountain. As the birthplace of Taoism, there are many historical sites on the mountain and the scenery is really great! It is definitely a summer resort and leisure destination!
Kongtong Mountain has beautiful scenery. If you go there early in the morning, you can see the clouds and mist. It looks very beautiful! It is a Taoist resort. When you go there, you can take a car to the mountain (private cars are not allowed to go there). The Tongtian Bridge attraction is the most exciting. You can choose to get off the car after going down the mountain. The scenery along the way is worth remembering! The Kongtong snack street at the bottom of Kongtong Mountain is also very good, with an ancient flavor.
I went to Kongtong because I watched a TV series called "Kongtong" when I was a child. It was winter when I went there. There was heavy snow flying all over the sky and the ground was covered with snow. I was so excited that I almost floated.
The transportation to Kongtong Mountain is also very convenient. Get off at Pingliang Railway Station, walk straight to the main road opposite the platform, turn right at the roundabout, and then walk straight all the way. It took about 3 hours to hike from Kongtong Mountain to the railway station with a load, which should be about 13 kilometers.
There are also buses to the foot of the mountain.
You can choose to go up and down by cable car, 50 one-way! It rained when we went down that day, and we were worried about the slippery road, so we didn't take the 7-8 seater van down!
There is a saying that there are two ways to go up Kongtong Mountain: the front mountain and the back mountain. You can take the cable car to the front mountain, which costs 50 yuan per person for a one-way trip, to reach the "Three Religions Zen Forest", and then walk up the mountain to the middle platform, which is 3.2 kilometers. There is no scenery along the way. It takes about 1 hour to walk. It is not recommended to go to the front mountain, as there is no scenery. It is better to go up and down the back mountain. There are also more cars returning to the city.
Zhongtai is the center of Kongtong Mountain, with a flat and wide terrain and a wide view. It is a good place to watch the sunrise, sea of clouds and the night view of Pingliang City. The five peaks of Kongtong, namely the east, south, west, north and center, are shaped like lotus flowers, spreading out on all sides, with the middle peak protruding and the other peaks surrounding it.
We went to the Kongdong Mountain 5A scenic spot in Pingliang. The tour lasted for 4 hours. It was a bit tiring to get to the top of the mountain. We were so tired that we could only take the car or cable car to the middle of the mountain. The rest depended on climbing. I felt that the scenic spot was average.
Tourists climb Kongtong Mountain. The scenic area arranges cable cars and scenic area transportation vehicles. We asked and the car only goes to Zhongtai. From the tour map, it can be seen that Zhongtai is like a base camp halfway up the mountain, and you can radiate from Zhongtai to several directions. Maybe the scenic area thinks that there is nothing to see below Zhongtai. In order to save tourists' time and physical strength, tourists are first taken to Zhongtai, and then they start to concentrate on the tour from Zhongtai. I have always opposed this practice of seemingly convenient for tourists to build roads and cable cars in scenic areas at will. There is no need to say more. Come to Kongtong Mountain to visit the mountain. How can you call it climbing a mountain if you don't sweat twice. If you don't feel it slowly, experience it carefully, and appreciate the connotation, how can you deserve to come to Kongtong Mountain from thousands of miles away.
There are not many people in Kongdong Mountain, but the climbing is a bit tiring. The scenery is pretty good, and it is also a five-star scenic spot.
For the city, Kongtong Mountain is simply a super oxygen bar. The air is so fresh that it makes people feel refreshed. Just breathe as much as you can~~~
Kongtong Mountain is the first attraction I visited on this trip. The ticket price is a bit expensive, but compared to some other 5A-level attractions, Kongtong Mountain is worth the money. I spent a whole day visiting every attraction in Kongtong Mountain. Kongtong Mountain is not only beautiful, but also dotted with many amazing temples and historical sites. It is truly a paradise on earth.
When I went there, autumn was almost over and most of the leaves had fallen off, but there were still some trees with the mark of autumn, golden leaves and strange-shaped trees, which were very beautiful and worth a visit.
Kongtong Mountain is a national 5A-level scenic spot. To get there, you need to take a cable car or a tourist bus from the visitor center. But there are also private cars parked at the entrance of the scenic spot. I don't know if it is a tourist car or a staff car. The ticket to the scenic spot is 120 yuan, and students are half price. The cable car is 50 yuan one way, and the tourist bus is 32 yuan. We chose to take the cable car up. In the closed sightseeing car, you can see the blue-green Tanzheng Lake below, and the Kongtong Mountain opposite is towering, with steep cliffs, like a knife and an axe. Although Kongtong Mountain is the birthplace of Taoism, there are also many Buddhist temples on the mountain, and they are very popular.
Kongtong Mountain: Ticket price is 120 yuan, 60 yuan for students. There are two tourist bus lines in the scenic area, one to Zhongtai and the other to Xiangshan Temple, which are charged separately. The cable car is also charged separately.
There is a scenic spot in Pingliang - Kongtong Mountain. As I said, the mountains here are not worth money, and there are all kinds of Taoist things on Kongtong Mountain. It seems that you need a ticket, so I didn't go up. After all, climbing a mountain is not an easy job. Kongtong Mountain is optional, for a wild kid like me, it's just for fun.
