Dinghushan is not far from the city by car, maybe only 7-8 kilometers, but there are many people during holidays, so there is already a long queue of cars near the scenic area, and the parking spaces in the scenic area are full. Car owners are reminded 2-300 meters in advance to park in nearby parking spaces. We chose to park on the roadside. If you are not afraid of eating beef jerky, you can give it a try 🙃.



It's still a long way to walk to the scenic spot. The weather was good yesterday and there were many tourists. People lined up at the entrance to buy tickets. They enjoyed a 20% discount, the same as online. Children under 1.20 are free of charge, and seniors over 60 years old are half price.



Entering the scenic area are pedestrian passages and tour bus passages. It is recommended to take a tour bus because the journey is long. It is more comfortable to enjoy the scenery along the way. The basic route is the gate - Wending Qifu - Butterfly Valley - Qingyun Huancui - the gate, 20 yuan, compared with the tour bus of Qixingyan, this service is relatively more affordable.



We set out to go up the mountain, the winding mountain road, the ride was very pleasant, thrilling, and when we arrived at the Wending Qifu, the first thing that caught our eyes was the big inkstone, and then the bell platform. Ring the bell ten times, 10 yuan [grin] to ask for a good intention, and went to play for a while, it was fun, while the bell was ringing, the staff read the blessing words, the bell rang ten times, gold ten thousand taels! Then we went to the big bronze tripod, there were a lot of people, everyone was throwing blessing balls, 20 yuan for 10 balls, fun, the whole family had a lot of fun! I personally think this is the most interesting project. Then walk 5 minutes to the Butterfly Valley, there is a cage of butterflies at the door 🦋 display, attracting tourists to enter by boat, this is also the boarding point for Qingyun Temple. It is recommended to go to Qingyun Temple first and then come back to visit the Butterfly Valley, because the route of the Butterfly Valley is still around Wending Qifu. Qingyun Temple is a temple in Dinghu Mountain, with strong incense, located in a deep mountain valley.



The second most fun thing is Butterfly Valley. The boat trip is 35 yuan. First, take a boat to the opposite island. During the boat trip, the tour guide introduced the origin and history of Dinghu Lake. The tour guide said that the lake water is crystal clear when it is at its best! After landing, it is Butterfly Valley. On the right hand side of the boat is the Butterfly Garden. There are not many butterflies, only a dozen in total, and they are generally well taken care of. Then it is an adventure to the forest, which is also quite interesting. There are steep mountain roads along the way. Children and adults have a lot of fun. Passing by several waterfalls, the water is clear and pure, cool and comfortable.

The scenery is indeed first-class, but there is a section of road up the mountain from the gate of the scenic area. You can either walk or take a bus (the scenic area, you need to buy a separate ticket). The exhaust gas of the bus is very serious and sucks. If we choose to walk, we will be breathing exhaust gas all the way. I hope the scenic area can solve this problem, either cancel the bus or use the tram instead!

Actually, Dinghushan National Nature Reserve is in the old Ding area of Dinghushan Scenic Area. Since the establishment of the nature reserve, it is not open to tourists. I will post pictures later if I have the chance.

The air feels good. Many people come here to travel. The parking lot is full. Dinghushan National Nature Reserve is also an important base for popular science and teaching practice, so many people come here for training. The stream water is all Dinghushan Spring.

Dinghushan has a beautiful environment and fresh air. It is a leisurely tourist destination. The staff in the scenic area have a good service attitude and patiently introduce the attractions and routes to visit. The general tour route includes Feishuitan and Qingyun Temple, which takes about half a day. From the entrance of Dinghushan, you can choose to walk or take the cable car. It is recommended that if you have limited physical strength, you can take the car up the mountain and walk down the mountain.

Qingyun Temple is a famous Buddhist temple in the province. Many people come to burn incense on the first and fifteenth day of every lunar month. Every year on the first day of the Lunar New Year, people come here to ask for a fortune. It is recommended that you can have lunch here. There is a small square for food and rest in Qingyun Temple, where you can eat snacks such as beef offal, corn and sweet potatoes. You must not miss the Shanshui Tofu Pudding in Dinghushan. I have eaten tofu pudding from all over the country, and this one is the sweetest and most delicious. At that time, it was sweet tofu pudding.

The overall feeling is acceptable. It is a natural oxygen bar, suitable for the elderly to breathe fresh air. It would be better if the entire scenic area had more complete facilities or was built more comprehensively!

Dinghushan is the best cool summer resort and is worth visiting.

The biggest advantage of Dinghushan is that the transportation is very convenient. It takes half an hour to get to Zhaoqing East from Guangzhou South Station by urban rail. The air and negative ions are great. It is rare to find such good air near the Pearl River Delta. I have no resistance to places with good air. Finally, I personally think it is unnecessary to go to Butterfly Valley (35 yuan) and there is no need to take the sightseeing bus. It took me less than four hours to hike the whole way including Butterfly Valley. It is not very big, and the mountain road is not difficult to walk. It is basically flat. If you want to breathe more good air, don't take the sightseeing bus.

It takes about five minutes to walk from where you get off to the scenic spot ticket office. Along the way, the left side of the road is almost a street of Zhaoqing specialties. Many shops sell local specialties, steamed rice dumplings with various flavors. We bought a steamed rice dumpling with seven-star egg yolk flavor to replenish our energy. The most eye-catching thing on the right side of the road is the pink and green buildings.

Although it was not the Golden Week holiday, there were still many people in the scenic area, and there were also many tour groups. There are guidebooks at the entrance of the scenic area, and there are route recommendations on them, so that you can always keep track of your goals and directions when you visit. Due to time constraints, we did not visit all the attractions in Dinghushan, but selected some of them.

The places where the Tropic of Cancer passes through are mostly deserts and dry grasslands, only here are lush trees, so Dinghushan is known as the "oasis in the desert". The must-see attractions in Dinghushan include Baoding Garden, Feishuitan, Butterfly Valley, and Qingyun Temple.

As a local of Zhaoqing, it’s great to have a tourist card and go whenever I want. I can go to Dinghushan to relax every Saturday.

Dinghu Lake is a unique lake in Guangdong. The combination of blue and green, and the large tripod full of history, all reveal the history and culture of Zhaoqing to the world.

The most typical southern mountain scenery, suitable for tourists who rarely go into the mountains. The sanitation is really nothing to say, it can be said to be very clean. I admire the development team for being able to keep the scenic area clean in the hands of so many Chinese tourists with varying qualities. It is really not easy. The water is also very clear. After a round, I personally think Feishuitan feels the best. PS: Go to a hotel at the door (Figure 3) to connect to the toilet. At first, they said the toilet is inside, but suddenly they said it was blocked, so go in. The scenic area charges fees in sections, which is speechless. Climbing a mountain costs 120+ per person, which is really a rip-off.

Dinghushan Nature Reserve was established in 1956 and is the first nature reserve in China. In 1979, it became one of the first (three) world biosphere reserves in China to join the UNESCO "Man and the Biosphere Program". Dinghushan Nature Reserve covers an area of 1,155 hectares, and the main protected object is the typical zonal vegetation-subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forest. The forest has a history of more than 400 years of protection and is known as the "Green Pearl in the Tropic of Cancer Desert Belt". Dinghushan has a high biodiversity enrichment. In a relatively small area, there are 1,808 species of wild higher plants, 232 species of birds, 77 species of amphibians and reptiles, 42 species of mammals, more than 1,000 species of insects, and more than 600 species of large fungi, including 54 species of national key protected plants and 49 species of key protected animals. If you are not physically fit, you can choose to take a sightseeing bus to visit Dinghushan, but we chose to walk the whole way. Only by walking can you better appreciate the scenery of Dinghushan and breathe the negative oxygen ions of Dinghushan better. Ascending route: Banshan Pavilion → Feishuitan → Butterfly Valley → Baoding Garden (top of the mountain); descending route: Baoding Garden → Qingyun Temple → Gate. The whole journey takes nearly 3 hours.

I feel relaxed and happy. The concentration of negative ions is too high, which causes oxygen intoxication. Haha

It's worth a visit. It would be even better if the company could provide a place to drink mountain spring water or tea.

But after walking around for a long time, how can I say it? It felt the same no matter how I walked around, it was the same green, the same scenery, except that the higher I climbed, the more beautiful the whole Zhaoqing was. There was super cold tofu pudding at the place where I bought the ticket for Dinghushan. It was super delicious, the best tofu pudding I have ever eaten in my life. It is definitely worth a try, plus points.

The boss is not honest. I can't even get five yuan in change when eating at his place.

A mountain doesn’t have to be high as long as it has trees to shade it; a river doesn’t have to be deep as long as it is clean.

I bought the ticket on Taobao, 66 yuan per ticket, 12 yuan less than buying it on site. You can climb the mountain by yourself or take a sightseeing bus for 20 yuan per time. The scenery on the mountain is quite good. After all, it is a 4A scenic spot. The waterfall is not big and the air is very good. It is recommended to spend half a day to play. It only took me about 3 hours to walk the whole mountain.

The total cost is 78 yuan for tickets, 20 yuan for trams and 35 yuan for boat tickets. Go to the tourist center for consultation. The girls there will be very enthusiastic to tell you the route. You must visit the four major attractions. It took a total of 4 hours to complete the tour. You can also stay in a hotel in the scenic area for about 300 yuan. I forgot the price.

Zhaoqing is beautiful, and Dinghu is worth a visit! The original forest is well protected, the air is very good, green vegetation, streams, and waterfalls are intertwined. The water in Butterfly Valley reminds me of Jiuzhaigou. It is so beautiful to take pictures of Butterfly Valley from Baoding Garden! If you have time, go and experience it a few more times!

As soon as I entered the scenic area, I was shocked by the mountains, water and forests. 80% of the route I walked on was covered with green grass. The temperature in the scenic area was much lower than in the city, and it was very cool. The most comfortable thing was the sound of flowing water! ! The water flowed to the bottom. In some places, due to the difference in minerals, the water flow was blue-blue or azure-yellow. It was not pollution, please don't get me wrong.



The waterfall inside is so stunning that it is hard to describe. It is very beautiful. There are also plenty of places to take pictures, and there won’t be a situation where many people are crowding around to take pictures.



There is nothing to see in Ding, mainly the lake and spring water. I will definitely recommend more people to visit this place, it would be a pity if they don't come.



As for food, the tofu pudding outside the foot scenic area is basically monopolized by the commercial brand "Hakka Lao", but I must recommend a shop that grinds soy milk to make tofu pudding! It is a shop opposite "Meiyijia" on the street leading to the entrance of the scenic area. The owner is a Buddhist and provides free soy milk to tourists. The tofu pudding is 3 yuan a bowl, which is very delicious, much better than other shops! ! The photo is attached below. The alkaline rice dumplings outside the scenic area are also delicious. The small rice dumplings are 1 yuan each and have red beans inside. I didn't buy the big rice dumplings because I didn't think they were delicious.



Everyone who goes in must bring enough water, and each person must bring 2 bottles.

If you park in the parking lot of the scenic area and get off, you can take the scenic area's sightseeing bus to the gate, but you have to pay. This is a slightly dissatisfied place. Of course, there are other ways. There are many private residences around the scenic area. They also provide parking services, but the charge is a little more expensive than the scenic area parking lot. If you spend less than three hours walking through the scenic area, it is estimated that it will cost about ten yuan to park in the scenic area parking lot and take the sightseeing bus. After my good friend and I calculated, we felt that we could not finish the scenic area in three hours, and then there was a fierce bargaining process. The aunt who provided parking finally charged us 20 yuan. You can park as long as you want. The advantage is that it is very close to the entrance of the scenic area. After parking the car, we got off and found that the weather was not good. It was raining, and then we forgot to bring an umbrella!

I drove about 12 kilometers from the city of Zhaoqing to the entrance of the scenic area, and the ticket price was 60 yuan.
