It was my second time to go to the Botanical Garden. Although it was during the May Day holiday, there were not many people. There were many children flying kites, which allowed me to capture the most authentic and natural moments. 😂 But I am still a little shy to secretly take photos of others, so I stayed far away when taking photos of children. The brave ones should be able to take a lot of good photos. In addition, the scenery of the Botanical Garden is also OK, with a wide variety of plants and a lot of room for free play.

My dad and I rented a sightseeing four-wheeled bicycle, while my grandparents and mom got on a sightseeing battery car. We split into two groups and visited the garden separately. We rode our bicycles aimlessly and first went to the orchid garden. There were not many orchids at the entrance. I only saw tree orchids. As I walked in, I could feel the humidity in the air increase, and the obvious mist of water vapor made me feel cool. Orchids are delicate species and have extremely high requirements for the growth environment. The temperature and humidity in the air are the most basic requirements. In the innermost part, you can see two glass houses, in which different varieties of orchids are planted, with different colors and a faint fragrance, looming and hazy. There are also orchids that have not bloomed outside, with only green leaves, placed on semi-open shelves, simple and quaint, which complement the delicate and delicate orchids blooming in the glass house.

Then we rode to the pineapple garden, passing by the palm garden and the medicinal plant garden. Unfortunately, part of the pineapple garden was under maintenance and I didn't see any pineapples. But I saw a variety of medicinal herbs in the medicinal plant garden, which broadened my horizons. There were flowers and plants along the way, and some exhibition boards introducing small insects. Be sure to bring some mosquito bite items, which will be very useful.

In addition to the main entrance ticket, there is also a group of greenhouses, and you need to buy a separate ticket to enter. There are regular flower exhibitions there, but of course you have to pay attention to the time. For example, we did not encounter the peony exhibition.

There are many trees and a beautiful environment. Various plant populations are classified and grouped into parks for free for tourists to visit. There are multiple roads connecting each scenic spot, so it is no problem to walk around. The park is very large and there are many scenic spots. If you walk through all the scenic spots in the park carefully, it will take a long time. If you just want to take a casual walk, you can take a walk around the lake, where there are beautiful scenery and fresh air. There are special scenery in each season. If you come to take pictures of the beautiful scenery, you will not have many people on weekdays. There is an amusement center and a large lawn here. It is also suitable for bringing children to play. There are restaurants inside, and you can eat inside without leaving the park to find a place to eat. In general, the South China Botanical Garden is a good place for leisure and sports, a paradise for photography enthusiasts, a holy place for couples to talk about love, and a good place for a family to get close to nature and cultivate family affection.

By Start eating supper today |

Early in the morning, there were few tourists in the botanical garden. There were only some elderly people doing morning exercises and a family of three taking a walk on the boulevard.

The botanical garden is very large, so we just walked along the path, occasionally sitting down to rest when we were tired. It was a very Buddhist trip. The advantage of having fewer people is that we can take photos without restraint.

The Botanical Garden is the best place for a picnic. Due to limited wallets and manpower, we only bought a bag of croissants to pretend that we were having a picnic. After eating, you can lie on the big lawn and take a rest. This slow life is really comfortable, but be careful not to get bitten by small insects~

As we passed through the deep woods on the trail, we began to feel a bit eerie. The intertwined vines entwined the branches, and standing among them was like straying into the forest where the witch lived in a fairy tale, and an adventure was about to begin.

The path through this woods was quite short and we soon reached the end.

At around five or six in the afternoon, when the sun sets and the light is the softest, the botanical garden becomes lively, with many young ladies coming together to take pictures.

By Light summer, deep cool |

The greenhouse is a must-go ❗ It's worth it ❗ It's so big that I got lost 😂

There are many flowers and the park is very large

Now there are azaleas, camellias, cherry blossoms, kapok and bird of paradise flowers🌺

Botanical Gardens... It's OK, I personally feel it's just so-so, I guess it would be better to come during the flower season or when there are activities. By the way, remember to bring mosquito repellent and sunscreen! Even though there's nothing fun, it's really big inside!

By wawawaka |

It's a very long line and I'm exhausted. It's worth coming here in different seasons. There are fewer people and it's comfortable. It's better to go to the greenhouse botanical garden first. There are a lot of trees. The sightseeing bus is 10 yuan, which is worth it.

By hnker |

The air is fresh, there are many plants, and the greenhouse concentrates the essence of various environmental plants. It is worth a visit

By Sugar's Wandering Time |

If you happen to travel to Guangzhou in spring, then you must check in at this place! !

In March and April, cherry blossoms are in full bloom in the South China Botanical Garden, but what attracts me more is the bird of paradise flower.

South China Botanical Garden is a place chosen by many people for taking wedding and couple photos.

I have taken many photos of my friends and children here.

By 🚲SLA🚌🌏 |

Multiple pictures warning, the King Protea exhibition during the National Day, the park is very large, we walked through 4 pavilions and spent more than 3 hours

By Blue Sea |

It's a beautiful scenic spot where you can see many rare plants.

By Aegean Sea |

There are many species in the botanical garden, many of which I have never seen before. The trees are very tall and it is not hot. There is usually shade. Some places in the greenhouse are quite cool. It took more than four hours to visit. In fact, there are many more inside, but we didn't go because it was too hot. If it was a cool day, we could have seen it all in one day.

By Grain of mustard |

You can try various styles when taking photos in the South China Botanical Garden. You can go for the forest style, or you can go for the green, fresh and cute style. In particular, there is a children's amusement facility inside that can be used as a good prop. Another completely different contrasting style

By Groundhog |

The management is average, there are few public facilities, and the plant divisions are not obvious. It is suitable for summer vacation.

By Today's random thoughts |

When spring comes and flowers bloom, there is no reason not to take some photos.

By Tree |

The main attraction of the South China Botanical Garden (online ticket price 38 yuan) is that it has a group of popular greenhouses. The greenhouses and aquatic botanical gardens with tropical rainforests, deserts, polar regions and rare plants are the biggest highlights of the botanical garden.

By mincc |

It is a good choice to go to the Botanical Garden with friends or family when the flowers bloom in March. The park is large enough to spend a day, so you can bring a picnic blanket and a kite. If you go with the elderly and children, it is strongly recommended to choose a 10-yuan battery car at the main entrance of the Botanical Garden. The route is around the major attractions in the Botanical Garden. You can get on and off at any time, which can save a lot of energy. My personal experience is to enter the garden in the afternoon, take the battery car between the Camellia Garden and Magnolia Garden, walk and stroll in the attractions, and it takes about 3 and a half hours to visit the main attractions, with nearly 20,000 steps, which is quite tiring.

The restrooms in the park often have no water or no one cleans them. The environment is very bad, which deserves a very bad review.

By I don't know what to call it |

There is a peony exhibition recently. The place is easy to find. The environment is very good compared to the city, and the air is fresh.

By 🌻 |

I had the opportunity to spend the New Year in Guangzhou. I read in the guide that there was a peony exhibition, so I went to the South China Botanical Garden to see it. It was really amazing. The peonies were in full bloom, with red, pink, white, yellow, green, and black. The most dazzling one was a plant with three colors of flowers. Luoyang peony is indeed worthy of its reputation. The elegant peonies and the various exotic plants in the botanical garden are worth visiting. You can buy a greenhouse ticket directly at the gate, 50 yuan per adult.

By summer |

Although the plants are not as lush as in summer, there are peonies on display in February and March. Friends who are interested can consider taking a look. The ticket price for seeing peonies is 50 yuan per person, which is still worth seeing.

By JoJo Jiang |

The ticket costs 50 yuan, and there is a greenhouse inside that requires additional money, with various varieties of plants.

By Fruit Devil |

In January, the park was a little depressed, but many families brought their children to camp. It was also very lively, with many children flying kites and singing. It is suitable for small families to spend the weekend. Children can be free for a whole day, but you need to prepare enough food, which is a bit expensive in the park. The scenery is beautiful, but the river is dirty

By Thierry |

There are not many places to buy food in the park, and the food in the shops is also quite expensive. It is recommended that you eat outside the botanical garden before entering the park to play. There are many food stalls in the Longdong Commercial Street next to it.

By Pig(^.^)super! |

The transportation is not very convenient. When you take the bus to the Botanical Garden Station, you think you have arrived? In fact, there is still more than 1,000 meters to go.

There aren't many cars. You can take a Mobike to the main entrance ticket office. It's very big inside. There aren't many flowers in autumn, but it's worth a visit. Many people bring their kids and tents.

The South China Botanical Garden has 30 plant conservation gardens, including the Magnolia Garden, Ginger Garden, Bamboo Garden, Orchid Garden, Palm Garden, and Cycad Garden, which preserve more than 13,000 species of plants and is known as the "Emerald of Southern China".

In March, the most beautiful bird of paradise flowers. The one in the fifth picture is the treasure of the garden, the blue-green bird of paradise flower, so beautiful, a rare species, but to see it, please buy a 50-yuan greenhouse ticket (you can buy a package of greenhouse ticket + gate ticket for a total of 50 yuan) to enter the greenhouse. In fact, most of the bird of paradise flowers have begun to wither, so it is impossible to take a complete picture...

By Delia |

Because my dad likes plants, I went to the botanical garden with him. I was pleasantly surprised when I got there. The overall environment is very good, with green trees and fragrant flowers. Just walking in the tree-lined road is a pleasure. There are many plant varieties and a science park. It is very suitable for taking children on weekends. However, there are a lot of mosquitoes in the park, so bring mosquito repellent.

It is a good place to bring children to learn knowledge.

By Special |

The plants are extremely rich, many of which I have never seen before. The scenery is quiet, there are few tourists and it is very quiet, suitable for taking blockbuster movies

By Dawei |

There are many rare plants here, so it is worth a visit for photographers who like to take pictures of plants and flowers. It is also a good place for weekend family leisure.

By An An |

It is suitable for families and couples to visit. There are many rare plants in it, which can teach children to recognize plants. There is a large lawn in the park. Some people bring food to picnic, and some children are flying kites. You can also ride a four-wheeler in the park, and you don’t have to walk so hard. Some places in the park are relatively remote, few people go there, and they are shabby. This needs to be changed.

By I really want to go to the pill |

The ticket price is too expensive~ Although it is quite large, it is just an ordinary botanical garden, nothing new.

After being transferred to the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1954, it became the South China Botanical Institute, and was renamed the South China Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in October 2003. The botanical garden ticket is ¥20, and the greenhouse group ticket is ¥50. If you buy a package ticket, it is ¥50 (including tickets and greenhouse tickets). In fact, if you buy a greenhouse ticket, you can get a free ticket. The botanical garden is very large and it takes a long time to walk around. In addition to the greenhouse group, there is also Guangzhou First Village, Longdong Qilin, Pineapple Garden, Historical Exhibition Hall, etc. The scenery is good, the air is good, the vegetation is lush, and there are endless people exercising and relaxing. It is a good place worth visiting. The most worth seeing should be the greenhouse group. It is not easy to see tree holes and double-sided trees in other places.

Even if you go there in autumn, there are still many sights to see. The park is very large and you can't visit it all in one day. If you can visit it, your legs will probably be broken... It's just too big and there are not many road signs! P.S. All the pictures are taken by myself. Reprinting requires consent. Thank you

By Dong Xiaoxuan |

It is really huge inside. My mother and I went there at 10 o'clock. We only visited the east half and the greenhouse. It was 2 o'clock in the afternoon when we came out. So if you go, you should bring more water. There is only a store at the gate. March is the season for camellia and azalea to bloom.

By HC |

Located at the Botanical Garden Station in Longdong, it is convenient to take the bus. The tickets are not expensive, but the greenhouse charges extra. The gate ticket is 20, and the online ticket is about 13. When I first entered, I felt it was quite big. Even if I looked at the map, it was easy to get lost. There were too many forks and the garden was divided into many areas, but it was September and there was nothing to see. During the National Day, I mainly went to the greenhouse to see the national flower of South Africa, the king protea.

As a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction and one of the four major botanical gardens of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the South China Botanical Garden is too low-key to match its title. It is like an emerald, quietly inlaid in the bustling Tianhe District of Guangzhou. It looks no different from a forest park, but when you explore it in depth, you will find its beauty. The winter in Guangzhou is particularly bright, and the leaves are only lightly painted with a layer of orange and yellow. The park is sparsely populated, quiet and warm. When the north wind blows, the strange trees of all countries voluntarily form a symphony orchestra to play a hymn to the forest. The sudden sound of music startled a group of orioles and swallows, alternating, flying, and cheering. A journey of discovery full of surprises begins!

The ticket I bought online in advance was 42 yuan, including the greenhouse and botanical garden. I redeemed it directly at the machine at the door, and a piece of paper with a QR code came out, which I needed to keep. I would check my ticket again when I entered the greenhouse. The greenhouse is divided into three different areas: tropical plants, cold plants, and desert plants. There are maps of the orchid garden, medicinal plant garden, pineapple botanical garden at the ticket office, so remember to take one.

In Guangzhou, there is a place where you can see flowers without having to rush to the blooming season. This is the South China Botanical Garden near Longdong. Although I am a native of Guangzhou, this is also my first time here. This place, called "South China Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences", is the largest subtropical botanical garden in the world, with about 13,000 living plants. There are not only greenhouse flowers, but also more than 30 distinctive special areas in the botanical garden, such as Longdong Qilin, Magnolia Garden, Ginger Garden, Bamboo Garden, etc. You can drive around the park, and you may not be able to finish it in one day.

By Calm_Sir |

It's heaven for plant lovers.

I went there at the end of April, there were not many people, but there were mosquitoes and so on. So I brought some mosquito repellent. It is indeed the largest and most comprehensive botanical garden in China, with all kinds of plants, and it is worth a visit. However, there are not many flowers and fruits when I go there now.

The four large greenhouses are very funny and make you feel like you are in a foreign land. I visited the tropical rain forest twice.

The whole park is very large, and there are still many places I haven't visited. I will definitely go there next time. Breathe in the fresh air as much as you can.

It's quite good, a large botanical garden with many plants worth seeing. The popular science is also very good. During the school term, there will be college students there every Sunday as volunteer guides, and you can sign up for free. You can search for Feiyu on WeChat to see their WeChat public account. As for why I gave it 4 stars, it's because there are too many tourists...

By No. 8, Lane 10 |

The bird of paradise flowers are blooming this month. I saw them on WeChat and decided to come and see them. I heard that many photography friends come to take pictures. You need to buy a ticket to enter the park, 20 yuan per person, and 50 yuan for the greenhouse. Both of us think it is unnecessary to buy tickets to see the greenhouse plants because the park is too big. If you want to know what greenhouse plants are, you can search on Baidu.

By Road 17 |

If you don't go to the greenhouse exhibition hall, the ticket is only 15, and it's even cheaper online. The South China Botanical Garden is very large, and there are really many plants. However, if you go there from May to September, be sure to bring floral water, mosquito repellent, and parasols, because there are really many bugs and mosquitoes. And it's easy to get sunburned! Recommended place: Orchid Garden, there are many orchids, very artistic. Of course, if you walk around, you can also see a lot of unexpected beautiful scenery, and the harvest of not taking the usual path. There are a lot of flowers in spring, and of course you will see a lot of people taking wedding photos. It would be nice if you could ride a bike, but if you ride a bike, the traffic in the garden will be very chaotic... Hahaha, it's better to take a walk.

Spring is a good time to enjoy flowers and plants. The weather is great on weekends. I saw relevant guides saying that the weekends are sunny and suitable for flower viewing. I immediately thought of the South China Botanical Garden. You can get there by taking the subway and then transferring to another bus. The transportation is very convenient. The botanical garden has a long history and rich plant species. Some flowers have bloomed and are very beautiful. There are not many tourists. It is quiet in the downtown area and the air is very good. It is worth a visit to stroll in a comfortable mood!

This place is worthy of the name "Emerald of Southern China". It is full of lush green and verdant plants. After entering the park, you feel like you are breathing oxygen. You keep taking deep breaths to freshen your lungs which have been shrouded in smog for many years.

We rented a three-person bicycle at the children's playground and rode among the green trees and flowers, singing along the way. When we saw the beautiful scenery, we got off the bike to admire it and take pictures. It was so pleasant!

By Yi Xiaoshuai |

The garden is very big. I went there for the Peony Festival. I am not a flower lover, so I didn't have any special feelings. I just felt that the flowers were a little haggard. It was strange to see a group of people taking pictures with various SLR cameras. Here are some nice pictures.

By Seasonal Wind |

Among the many scenic spots in Guangzhou, this is one of my favorites. The area is quite large, and the plant species are very rich. Even in winter, there are still flowers in bloom. Tickets are divided into two categories, 20 for the gate and 50 for the greenhouse. If you want to go to the greenhouse, it is recommended to buy a package ticket. At that time, the package ticket purchased in the group was less than 40, which was quite cost-effective. The air inside is very good. It is a great way to spend time in the afternoon after a full meal and a walk, basking in the sun and taking a walk. There are also photography enthusiasts with SLRs everywhere in it. You can take beautiful photos by framing them casually. Personally, I feel that the cost performance of the greenhouse is not very high. If you are a plant lover, it’s okay. Like me, I basically don’t know anyone and just wander around. I think the greenhouse is a bit small. However, it was very lively on the day I went there. I got separated from my friends and met a group of very enthusiastic foreigners. I can speak some English and they can speak some Chinese. We had a good chat. The greenhouse closes at 5:30. There are basically no people at 5 o'clock. There is no time limit outside the greenhouse. After visiting the botanical garden, I just went to Longdong for dinner. The transportation is convenient and very convenient.

By Cheese Girl |

Take the subway to Changqian Station Exit A, then take a bus for about three or four stops. The botanical garden is very large. If you don't go to the greenhouse, the ticket is very cheap. The greenhouse ticket costs more than 30 yuan, but if you buy it in a group, the entrance ticket + greenhouse ticket is 38 yuan, which is a big discount. There are many special plants in the greenhouse, which is eye-opening and beautiful. We went to see the bird of paradise flowers, which are red and yellow, and the bunches are like grape seeds, which are very cute. Then there are very rare blue bird of paradise flowers in the greenhouse, which are as blue as if they were painted with color. So you must go to the greenhouse when you go to the botanical garden.

Going to the South China Botanical Garden depends on the time. It is hot and humid in summer, and there are more mosquitoes. It is better to go in winter.

There are a lot of unfamiliar plants here, so one of the great things about coming here is that you can learn as long as you live, hahaha~ If you go there in the summer, you'd better wear long pants, because there are really a lot of mosquitoes. Either bring mosquito repellent, remember to wear sunscreen, bring water, and bring good food, because it's also a good place for a picnic. Yeah, I'll do it here next time I go. The botanical garden is very suitable for taking pictures of flowers, plants, and beautiful women, hahahahaha~

It is near Longdong in Guangzhou. There are many different plants in the park, the air is very fresh, and there is a large greenhouse complex.

I just went there 9 days ago. There are many plants there, all kinds of plants, and plant species from all over the world. It is definitely worth a visit. If you are interested in plants, you must go and see it!

South China Botanical Garden is located in Tianhe North. You can take bus No. 83 from Changqian Station to Botanical Garden Station. There is a parking lot in the garden. Meituan has a discount group. It is recommended to buy a package ticket and make an appointment in advance. Pay attention to anti-mosquito measures in summer. The greenery in the garden is OK, but the main road is still quite sunny. It is suitable for the whole family to go there. You can bring your own food and water, and pay attention to keeping the garden clean. The plants in the greenhouse garden are quite diverse. It will take most of the day to walk through the whole garden. The air is relatively fresh. You can also visit the Camellia Garden and Azalea Garden in spring. There are not many flowers to see in August.

South China Botanical Garden is located in Longdong, Guangzhou. You can take Metro Line 6 from the city, which greatly facilitates the residents and tourists living in the city. The place is medium-sized, but there are a variety of plants. It is a good choice to come here for a leisure time. As a botanical garden, I think the popularity of plant knowledge is not good. Many plants do not have their own signs. There is also a greenhouse inside, but I didn't go in to see it because I thought the ticket was too expensive...

The transportation here is very convenient, with direct access by BRT. The botanical garden is very large, and there are many forest scenes that can be photographed. There are two types of tickets: one is the main entrance ticket, and the other is the main entrance and greenhouse package. It is recommended to go twice, and a pure botanical garden tour only requires 20 yuan of tickets, and group purchase is cheaper. If you want to go to the greenhouse, just buy a package ticket, because if you go in and buy a separate greenhouse ticket, it will not be cost-effective. The greenhouse scenic area should be the biggest highlight of the botanical garden. There are five large greenhouses, the largest of which is the tropical rainforest area, which also has a large waterfall, and it may take a long time to visit.

【TIPS】Warm reminder: If you want to bring your own professional equipment such as reflectors, it is best to put them away and don't be too ostentatious, because there is a third unreasonable charging model here. If you are considered a photography group, you will need to pay a photography rental fee of about 400 yuan, which is very deceptive. I put my SLR in my bag and insisted that my reflector was for fun, so I sneaked in. If you want to know more, you can refer to my travel notes: http://www.mafengwo.cn/i/3416942.html

As a native of Guangzhou, I was so ashamed to go to the South China Botanical Garden only for the first time after I was so old. I accompanied my parents to appreciate the peony flowers at that time, and I was reluctant to go there because it was far away. But once I got there, I realized that although the journey was long, it was really worth going, and it deserves 5 stars.

South China Botanical Garden is in Tianhe District. There is no direct subway to the Garden. You need to take a bus. As far as I know, bus No. 30 can directly reach South China Botanical Garden Station, or you can take subway Line 6 to Changbing Station and then transfer to the bus. Although the journey is long and winding, it is still worth it.

Tickets: There are two types: one is the botanical garden ticket (excluding the greenhouse), 20 yuan/person; the other is a pass that includes the greenhouse ticket, which costs 70 yuan/person; it is recommended that friends who are visiting the South China Botanical Garden for the first time buy a pass, because the plants in the greenhouse are the richest, rarest and most distinctive. If you buy tickets online, you can get a big discount. Last time we visited the peony exhibition, we needed to enter the greenhouse, and the pass was only 38 yuan/person, which is equivalent to a 50% or 60% discount, which is quite cost-effective.

If you book tickets online, you need to look carefully at the ticket pick-up window to avoid wasting time in line. Because you book tickets online, the tickets you pick up are not made of card material like ordinary tickets, but are printed on thermal paper, so you must keep them safe. If you lose them, you will not be able to enter the greenhouse~~

Entering the South China Botanical Garden, there is a small shop selling flowers and plants on the right side of the gate. The most popular succulent plants are also sold at a reasonable price. The owner of this shop also helps to plant daffodils. Many regular customers ordered daffodils from the owner before the Chinese New Year, and then came to pick them up when the Chinese New Year was approaching. With professional planting, the daffodils bloomed very beautifully~~

The greenhouse is divided into tropical, subtropical, temperate, subarctic, and arctic zones. Each corresponding climate zone has different scenery. If you bring your children along, you can also teach them a lot about plants. The introduction to plants is quite sufficient. The following pictures are the flowers and plants I took in the greenhouse. You can take a look~~~

The ticket is 20 dollars, but I haven't bought the greenhouse ticket yet.

Subway Line 6 can reach the South China Botanical Garden. Get off at the main station, exit from Exit A, and take the bus for 4 stops to the Botanical Garden. There are many buses here, and it is very convenient to transfer. The subway is still under construction, so you may not have to reverse in the future. On the way to the Botanical Garden, I booked tickets for the Botanical Garden. The ticket for the Botanical Garden plus the greenhouse package is 50 yuan, and it is 38 yuan if you buy it on Taobao. There is a self-service ticket machine at the park ticket office, which is very convenient. The Botanical Garden is very large and has many plant varieties. We mainly went there for the bird of paradise. There are two places in the Botanical Garden where bird of paradise flowers are planted. The small bird of paradise flowers really look like a little bird, very beautiful!

Compared with the smog in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, Guangzhou's air quality is pretty good. The botanical garden feels like breathing oxygen. The air in the botanical garden after the rain is very fresh. Walking in it makes the pace slow down.

I have always wanted to visit the botanical garden, but I have never been there. I went there twice in spring and summer and saw different scenery. Once on weekends and once on weekdays. There were not many people. The air in the botanical garden was very good and spacious. It is a good choice to bring children for an outing! I went to the greenhouse exhibition hall once. I think it is worth a visit if you have never been there. You can choose to see various plants in different seasons when you come to the botanical garden. The environment is very clean and it is very large. You can walk around for a long time. Come here to breathe oxygen when you have nothing to do during the holidays. Remember that you can buy tickets in advance! Haha~
