Zhujiang New Town (also known as Zhujiang New Town Central Business District) is located in the western part of Tianhe District, Guangzhou. It stretches from South China Expressway in the east to Guangzhou Avenue in the west, the Pearl River in the south and Huangpu Avenue in the north. It covers an area of 6.44 square kilometers.

The tram does not run along the Pearl River. After reaching the terminal, the tram changed tracks and rested for a few minutes before setting off again. I wanted to take a different themed car, so I waited for the next one. While waiting for the train, a staff member handed out subway newspapers. I took one and took a quick look. A few minutes later, a new tram arrived, with flowers and birds pasted on the inside.
