It is a good choice to go there to surf and watch the sunset in summer. Mawei Island is a good place to watch the sunset. No tickets are required. It's quite comfortable, especially in the off-season. There are few people. It's also good to relax. The seafood is good. The price is average, not expensive or cheap. The room rate is relatively cheap in the off-season, and it should be quite expensive in the peak season. Many people say that you should try to bring your own tools to cook... As a person who has experienced it personally, if you don't have superb cooking skills, it is not recommended, because that will only turn this trip into a torture... After eating and washing the dishes, you may go to buy vegetables and continue cooking. There are few buses, but not none. There will also be many single men driving and actively chatting up beautiful women standing on the roadside waiting for the bus. The intensity of development is not very high. It is not as commercialized as the Xichong side of Xunliao Bay, especially the Agile Golden Coast side. There are few people, but the parking fee is quite expensive. It costs 20 per night after paying the room fee. The entire parking lot is very empty... But it is much better than the 40 per night in Honghai Bay.

It's fun. This is the beach. At night, there are people drinking outdoors and singing. It's very lively, but I like the sound of the sea hitting the beach. I just sit on the beach and feel happy. There are also people renting cars to ride to the Silver Beach, but no one came with me. They all went to the KTV, so I just wandered around.

Yangjiang Hailing Island Zhapo is a good place worth visiting in summer. It has blue sky, sunshine, beach, seafood. This is my third time to this place. It is also a girlfriend trip that I have been looking forward to for three years! On the first night, we went to the beach BBQ (the barbecue in the scenic area costs 150 yuan to open the furnace). We went to the nearby market to buy seafood (Zhapo Farmers' Market). The seafood was not expensive. 9 people only spent 500 yuan (seafood + vegetables + barbecue tools + furnace fee). The next day, we went to the mud beach to dig shells in the morning. There were super many shells! We also went to Mawei Island in the afternoon! We went to the roadside barbecue again in the evening. This time we came back late, so we didn’t buy anything to barbecue by ourselves. We went to the snack street to eat barbecue. It was a barbecue restaurant that said they could sing K for free (Sea Island BBQ). Only a few of the 8 people ordered a little barbecue. When they saw that they could sing K for free, they asked the boss to unlock it, only to be told that the machine was broken and could only play 3 songs in a single loop. I felt cheated! And when I paid the bill, it was 400 yuan. We couldn’t believe it. There was no price tag! When I asked her to take the order, she was very impatient and asked if I had finished it! She was very angry! It was a rip-off! It was all our fault for not asking the price before ordering! If you don't want to see it, don't go!

During the National Day holiday, there are few people and the water is clear, it is worth a visit!

The weather was bad when I went there, and the scenery was so-so. Because it was a bit cold, I didn't go into the water or do any water activities, I just walked on the beach. I didn't get much from fishing. I had an octopus and a sea fish, but others took them. I only got a small crab, which was quite cute, but it died after I took it home for a few days. I didn't know how to make a specimen, so I threw it away.



Overall it's just so-so. The slogan is too loud - "Oriental Hawaii", which is a bit untrue.



Finally, I’ll post two pictures of the sea in other places for comparison. My mother said that it’s 10,000 times better than Hailing Island. Hailing Island doesn’t even feel like the sea… Comparison is frustrating.

When I came back from Kaiping to see the Diaolou, I went to Yangjiang. The weather was a bit gloomy. My husband and cousin were still running nearby. My aunt and I walked around nearby. It seemed that they were planning to build a road around the sea.

Now there are only two places in Hailing Island where you can go swimming, Dajiao Bay and Agile Golden Coast, but they charge a fee. The other surviving free beach, Mawei Island, was relatively popular. We took off our shoes and stepped on the sand on the beach. It was very comfortable. The sand is really fine. We are here to step on the waves and play with the sand! It seems like children who have never seen the world. Hailing Island has given us too many happy times in these two days. I really want to play for a few more days. But time conditions do not allow it! I can only leave reluctantly. Hailing Island, the most beautiful island.

The peak season for Hailing Island is July to August, and the locals rely on the income from these two months to support their lives for a year, so many people say it is expensive, and it is normal as long as it is not too expensive. The implication is that you will definitely be ripped off if you come here, and if not now, when will the tour guides be ripped off? But I also understand that you want to travel, and you must spend money.

Hailing Island is a little far from the city. There are buses and the fare seems not expensive, but it takes a long time to get there, and the interval between buses is also long. I personally feel that Hailing Island is very suitable for families to take a break on weekends. The food and accommodation on the island are very complete, and the consumption level is not particularly high. Compared with the beach on Mawei Island, the beach of Shili Silver Beach is cleaner and does not have a strong smell of the sea. It is still the same sentence that protecting the environment starts with yourself~ Take away the garbage with you. Self-driving is highly recommended on the island, but the roads will be relatively small, and it is okay not to drive too fast. There are also many cultural attractions on the island, such as the Nanhai No. 1 Museum, Mazu Temple, etc., just arrange according to your itinerary. The entire Hailing Island is not particularly large, and you can find many beautiful scenery by walking around casually.

The beach sand at Dajiao Bay is very fine, soft and comfortable to step on. Children are the happiest on the beach. The sand excavation project is huge, and there are small bathtubs and small ponds everywhere. The waves washed up many small shells, and there are purple small conches, which are only the size of fingernails, cute. There are many sand balls and a small hole on the beach. That is a crab hole. In the evening, the little crab will come out of the hole. It is the same color as the sand. It is really a disguiser in the animal world. Tickets are required for Dajiao Bay. It costs 51 yuan to buy at the window and 47 yuan to buy online. But there is a pitfall. You have to go online 40 minutes in advance, otherwise you will not be allowed in. It is best to change into a swimsuit to go in. It is even more pitfall inside. You need to buy a ticket for the changing room, 5 yuan, and 20 yuan for storage, and there is no hot water. Since I had a lot of fun playing with sand on the first day, I happily decided to charter a car and tour the entire Hailing Island. 200 yuan a morning. I went to Shili Silver Beach and felt that it was no different from Dajiao Bay. Some people were playing with motorboats, paragliding and surfing, which was super exciting. Hailing Island does not require a boat to reach. It is connected to the land by car through the Hailing embankment. Arriving at Hailing Island, the weather was blue sky and white clouds, and it was finally not raining. Dajiao Bay is actually on the same coastline as Shili Silver Beach, but it has been planned for commercial use. Tickets are charged, and areas are marked out. The car drove into a vegetable market called Zhapo. This is a local farmers' market for local residents. The seafood was just fished out of the sea in the morning, fresh and inexpensive. An experienced friend took us in and picked out a lot of seafood that was both delicious and cheap. We walked into a familiar restaurant next door and explained the dishes. We sat happily waiting for the meal to start. The air permeability at the seaside in the morning was very good and the light was suitable. There are four beaches on Hailing Island from east to west, Shili Silver Beach, Dajiaowan Beach, Beiluowan Beach, and Mawei Island Beach. Shili Silver Beach is the best place to watch the sunrise, and the sunset on Mawei Island Beach is beautiful. The sand in Dajiaowan is good, and it is not uncomfortable to walk around barefoot~ Very comfortable~ Shili Silver Beach is the largest, most beautiful and also the most dangerous beach on Hailing Island. We went on a spring trip on a whim. The hotel price was really cheap in the off-season, which was very worthwhile. We specially chose a room near the sea. The coastline was very long and beautiful. There were not many people on the beach during the off-season. It was very comfortable and beautiful to take pictures. The area around was mainly seafood. We didn't see the sunrise, so we went to Mawei Island to watch the sunset.

To be honest, it's a really ordinary beach. The facilities are not complete, it's a bit dirty, and there is no particularly good view

The scenery and beaches of Hailing Island are nice, but the biggest problem is that the seafood restaurants are overpriced. A super unpalatable braised fish costs more than 300 yuan, and a plate of white clams that only cost 7 yuan per pound in the vegetable market costs more than 200 yuan! I won't go there a second time!

The sand in Hailing Island is very fine, but the bad thing is that there are beach motorcycles on the beach, which still seems to be a safety hazard.

This trip was with friends to Zhapo, and it was best to go out in the off-season, when there were not many people. We came here after the National Day in October, and the room rate was very favorable, just over 200 yuan, and the seafood was very cheap, and we avoided the crowds, which was really good.

I live in one of the apartments of Poly, the environment is very good, because it is the outermost, so it is very quiet, parking is also convenient, about ten minutes away from the beach. I played beach buggy, 100 yuan for half an hour, exciting!

I went there in 2012. It was probably a weekday. Five of us rented out the entire Silver Beach. In the past few years, I felt it was too far away and never went there. The trip to Hailing Island on August 5 and 6, 2017 was indeed beautiful and the beach and sea view were first-class! There are many entertainment projects on Shili Silver Beach, and there are beach KTV, barbecue, fireworks, etc. at night. Every night, there will be many small crabs running around. If there are children, it is fun to catch crabs.

I live in Yangjiang, 50 minutes' drive from downtown Yangjiang. The environment is beautiful. I can book a sea view room to stay for a few nights and eat some seafood. However, the infrastructure is not perfect. It is recommended that tourists bring some necessary supplies.

The Zhapo is really beautiful, the water is very clear, and the sand is very fine. The sea breeze at night is very comfortable, many people are having barbecues, and there is also an open-air KTV.

The scenery is beautiful, there are high, medium and low-end hotels, and the seafood is great.
