Navigation address: Xinxing Square, Luohu District, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province (60 meters walk from Exit D of Grand Theater Subway Station)

Visiting time: Diwang Building is open all year round. The opening hours in both peak and off-season are generally 9:00-21:00 (latest entry time is 20:20). It is recommended to visit for 1-2 hours, which is enough to experience the various theme areas and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Shenzhen and Hong Kong. If you want to enjoy the scenery at different times of the day and night, you can choose to enter in the evening.

Transportation Guide:

(1) Public transportation: Take bus No. 3, No. 10, etc. and get off at the Diwang Building stop.

(2) Metro: Take the Luobao Line or Shekou Line to the Grand Theater Station and exit from Exit A.

Ticket Information:

(1) Full price ticket: usually RMB 89 per person.

(2) Discounted tickets: Children between 1.2m (not included) and 1.5m (inclusive) in height, seniors aged 60 (inclusive) to 69 (inclusive), and full-time university undergraduate students and below (with valid student ID) can purchase discounted tickets at a price of approximately RMB 45 per person.

(3) Free admission: Children 1.2 meters or below in height (must be accompanied by an adult), seniors 70 years or above (with ID card or senior citizen card). In addition, during certain periods such as June 9 to June 22, current college entrance examination candidates can exchange their original admission tickets and ID cards for free admission at the on-site ticket office before 11:00 a.m.

Toilet conditions: Toilets are available on the sightseeing floor of the Diwang Building and in the public areas inside the building. They are reasonably located and have clear signs, making them convenient for tourists to use. The internal environment is clean and tidy, and the facilities are complete.

Representative attractions:

(1) South View of Hong Kong: The semi-arc-shaped wall is inlaid with a picture scroll of Hong Kong's historical development in this century. It is equipped with 6 high-powered telescopes, from which visitors can overlook Hong Kong and take in the city scenery.

(2) North view of Shenzhen: It provides an excellent perspective to overlook the urban area of Shenzhen. Whether it is the modern urban landscape with tall buildings or the winding Shenzhen River, visitors can truly feel the vitality and charm of the city of Shenzhen.

(3) Century Innovation Area: With a large computer-generated painting of Tiananmen Square and Central on Hong Kong Island as the background, realistic wax figures of Deng Xiaoping and Margaret Thatcher having a cordial conversation vividly demonstrate the great talents and strategies of the great men of the century in grasping the major historical turning points.

(4) Centennial Zone of Shenzhen and Hong Kong: Documentary short films on major historical themes such as "Cession of Hong Kong", "Forced Lease of Kowloon", "Return of Hong Kong", "Establishment of the First SAR Government", and "Economic Take-off of Shenzhen and Hong Kong" are shown on multiple wide screens with surround sound, allowing visitors to revisit the century-old history of Shenzhen and Hong Kong.

(5) Pirate Legend Area: This area uses internationally advanced multi-dimensional film and television technology and is carefully produced by the original creative masters of Disneyland in the United States. It features wonderful performances by many famous Chinese and Hong Kong movie stars such as Eric Tsang and Fan Yimin, bringing tourists a strong and shocking audio-visual effect.

If you are a tourist in Shenzhen, don't miss the Diwang Building. Bring a friend who is familiar with Shenzhen and its development history. It will be a good trip. You can overlook Shenzhen and Hong Kong from here. You can see the Guangzhou-Kowloon Railway crossing the city, the Shenzhen River separating the mainland and Hong Kong, the Dongmen Old Street hidden in the sea of buildings, the Shennan Avenue leading directly to Nanshan, the Ping An Building towering into the sky, and the Shenzhen Reservoir nurturing the people of Hong Kong and Shenzhen. It's like seeing through the city that has sprung up in forty years, and vaguely seeing the traces of history.

The height of the Emperor Building is quite average now. The Kingkey 100 next to it is much taller, but it is considered a famous high-rise building in Shenzhen. You can take a look at the ones next to it.

The Land King Building is the Shenzhen Xinxing Plaza. It became the Land King because the auction of the real estate land set a record high at that time. At that time, the construction speed was 2.5 days per floor, breaking the previous Shenzhen speed of 3 days per floor. It is currently the third tallest building in Shenzhen, the first is the Ping An Building, and the second is the Kingkey 100 next to it.

1 on the left: Kingkey 100 and on the right: Diwang Building, the original landmark of Shenzhen!

By Frustrated Lover |

I didn't find the entrance to the building, but it's not a big deal, so I can't comment on it.

By Roots |

I have never visited any of the old Shenzhen landmarks, so I dare not comment on them.

I booked the tickets on China-TravelNote in advance and just followed the staff's instructions to visit. From the 69th floor of the Diwang Building, you can overlook the skyscrapers of Hong Kong and Shenzhen. The night view is even more spectacular. What I regret most is that I didn't bring a telescope. I could only use the paid telescope to queue up and take a quick look.

A famous landmark in Shenzhen.

Climbing up to the top floor, 69th floor, 384 meters high, you can overlook Hong Kong to the south and Shenzhen to the north.

After entering the main entrance of the Diwang Building, there is a ticket counter on the left. From there, you can buy tickets and board our destination. Tickets are 80 yuan on site, and you can choose to rent a telescope for 30 yuan. In Shenzhen, a city where every inch of land is valuable, this price is not too bad. I personally think it is quite satisfactory. After checking the tickets and taking an elevator, we finally reached the 69th floor, which is surrounded by glass on all sides, making it convenient for pedestrians to see the beautiful scenery of Shenzhen. Because my main purpose of this trip was to watch the sunset, the time to go upstairs was just at sunset, which was just right.

Shenzhen's landmark building, it feels great to climb up the building and overlook Shenzhen

It is worth going if you are a foreigner for the first time, after all, you can overlook Shenzhen. The tickets are expensive, so don't expect too much

Go up around 5 o'clock, and you can see from day to dark and see the night view.

Apart from the tickets, other expenses are up to the individual. They are expensive but clearly marked.

If you like photography, you can try time-lapse photography.

Diwang Building, formally known as Shun Hing Plaza, has 69 floors and a total height of 383.95 meters (the actual building height is 324.8 meters). When it was completed, it was the tallest building in Asia and the first steel-structured high-rise building in China. On June 9, 1995, the main building of Diwang Building was capped. The themed sightseeing project "Window of Shenzhen and Hong Kong" is located on the top floor of the majestic Diwang Building. It is the first high-rise themed sightseeing project in Asia. From here, you can overlook the cityscape of Shenzhen and overlook the cityscape of Hong Kong. Diwang Building Shun Hing Plaza consists of three parts: commercial building, business apartment and shopping center. It is an important symbol of Shenzhen.

Because the land occupied by Xinxing Plaza was auctioned at the highest price in Shenzhen land transactions that year, it was honored as the "Land King", so the public called it the Land King Building. Tickets, 60 yuan.

Diwang Building was once the tallest building in Shenzhen (I didn't search on Baidu which one it is now), but this does not affect the view of the whole Shenzhen from here. There are 69 floors in total, the top floor is a sightseeing area, and the rest are office areas for various companies. The sightseeing ticket is 80 yuan per person, and there is no student ticket. If you want to come here, it is recommended to come at night, the night view should be beautiful, and it will feel like watching a real estate project when you watch it during the day. In addition to overlooking Shenzhen, there are other entertainment areas on the top floor, but they are not interesting.

It only takes 50 seconds to reach the top floor by taking the elevator accompanied by melodious music. There are novel and exciting multi-dimensional dynamic movies, documentary digital superimposed slide projection documentaries, and 15 interesting landscapes in the scenic area.

It is said that you can see the New Territories of Hong Kong from the Diwang Building. We saw the night view, but I am not sure whether we can see the New Territories, haha. Overall, it is not bad. It is a good place to enjoy the night view of Shenzhen. You can go there to check in and commemorate it.

80 yuan, and rented a telescope, it's really not worth it

The only highlight is that standing in the Diwang Building and looking at Kingkey 100 has a unique flavor

By China-TravelNote users |

The worst sightseeing experience ever. The watchdog manager on the rooftop, who wears glasses and has a hunched neck, is particularly bad-looking. As soon as you enter the door, he first tricks you into buying some game commemorative coins, and threatens you that if you don't buy them, you can't play any projects inside. In fact, there are only a few shabby old-fashioned coin-operated telescopes and 1980s-era amusement projects that require coins. The glass has not been cleaned for a long time, and there are thick stains, which looks unclear. When leaving, an old man said that he wanted to return the coins because he couldn't use them up. The manager said righteously that he would not return them, and you can go inside and use them up before leaving. I just got out of the exit gate and remembered that I should go to the bathroom. I told a waitress, and she was about to let me in. As a result, this manager came over and scolded the waitress, saying that there was a bathroom downstairs and asked him to go downstairs. Don't go if you don't want to be angry. Go to Kingkey 100 Strong 10,000 times.

This is the worst building I have ever seen. It costs 80 yuan to go up. ① When you buy the ticket, they will sell you a telescope. I didn't rent one because I read the comments saying it's not necessary (ps: the fact is it's really not necessary). ② The downstairs didn't tell you that there would be people selling game coins when you enter the upstairs, and there are also very rubbish claw machines (ps: the staff upstairs will say that you must use them inside, don't buy them, many things are useless, these coins have no necessary use at all, don't be cheated), ③ If you are a building climbing and taking pictures, you should also pay attention. There is no open-air place, the glass windows are very dirty, and the reflection is serious at night, so you can't take good pictures. ④ There is nothing special, just a few claw machines, game machines, and a few tables by the window. The fixed telescope is completely unusable. If you have coins, don't put them in... @ Finally, I want to say: If you think it's worth spending 80 yuan to see the "city scenery" of Shenzhen, you can go up and take a look. In the past, I thought the recent Guangzhou Tower (Little Waist) sightseeing was already rubbish enough, but I didn't expect this one to be so bad. I think in China, you should never imagine an open-air tourist area like the Empire State Building in the United States. Chinese people are still quite timid and afraid of accidents. Besides, it is true that the overall quality of China has not caught up. I generally don't like to complain, but this is the most annoying time for me, for reference only. (I marked a 5-star review because I was afraid that my review would be deleted or buried by the system)

Take the subway to the Grand Theater Station and exit the station, and you will reach the Xinxing Square where the building is located. The ticket to the building is 80 yuan. The sightseeing floor is on the 56th floor. There are not many tourists, and you almost don’t need to wait for the elevator. The sightseeing floor is not a 360-degree panoramic view. There is a blind spot of several dozen degrees. There is a canteen on the sightseeing floor, selling drinks and snacks. There are also some seats and tables by the windows of the sightseeing floor, where you can sit and enjoy the cityscape of Shenzhen.

I arrived downstairs at the Diwang Building at 5:30. The ticket office is on the first floor. After buying the ticket, I can take the elevator up. I chose this time specifically so that I can see the appearance of Shenzhen during the day and the night view at night. This mainly introduces the urban development of Shenzhen. From the Diwang Building, you can see the city scenery of Shenzhen and also have a distant view of Hong Kong. I suggest listening to the free explanation to understand the development of Shenzhen and Hong Kong.

When I go to a place, I like to visit landmark buildings. One reason is that they are meaningful, and the other is that if they are high-rise buildings, you can see the whole view. When I went there, it was cloudy and rainy, and the air was not very good. The scenery was good during the day, but at night you couldn't see anything. The bad thing about the sightseeing hall is that the lights inside are too bright! At night, the reflections on the glass make it impossible to see outside, especially when taking pictures. The reflections on the glass can't be taken at all, unless you have complete equipment to block the light indoors.

By DLC is not a big deal |

This non-general building is the Diwang Building, and the 69th floor is a sightseeing platform. What's more bizarre is that you have to go up to the 40th floor first and then change the elevator...

[Tickets] ¥80, cost-effective... slightly low... Yes, with the river as the boundary, the farmland on the left is Hong Kong, and the high-rise buildings on the right are Shenzhen... I heard from my friends that the land price in Shenzhen has soared to 400,000 per square meter...

By Sunny |

It's just so-so. After all, it's not the tallest building in Shenzhen. It's still very shocking to look at it from the bottom. I craned my neck to see how high it is. But I decided not to go up.

By Sunny |

After dinner, let's go to Diwang Building. Take the bus [actually, Dongmen is very close to Diwang Building, but I am a very lazy girl, so I am too lazy to walk as long as there is a bus. Who made me walk to the side of the bus station?] It's about two stops away.

By shockcong |

Although its height is far less than that of the Guangzhou Tower, and even lower than the Kingkey 100 next to it, the Kingkey Building is the Kingkey Building. As a landmark of Shenzhen, it cannot be replicated, replaced, or surpassed.

First take the elevator to the 40th floor and then transfer to the 69th floor. The elevator is very fast. The view from above is very good. I personally think that the night view of Shenzhen is more beautiful and more charming than that of Guangzhou.

The prices above are relatively normal. A sausage at 3 yuan is very cost-effective compared to other places.

I walked around half a circle and wanted to watch for a while longer, so I went downstairs. As a result, I saw the viewing area. The short films inside recorded the changes in Shenzhen since the reform and opening up. It is worth watching. The VR viewing effect is good!

There was another free talk show just after we came out, and we caught up with it. Although the quality of the talk show was not very good, the talk show performers worked very hard, and it was not easy. My classmates and I insisted on watching the whole show, which was about 40 to 50 minutes.

The sightseeing ticket is 80 yuan, and you can save 10 yuan by booking it online in advance for 70 yuan. The ticket office can also rent telescopes, but I personally don't think it is necessary. When you reach the 69th floor, you can exchange coins for two yuan each and use the coin-operated telescope. There are still some simple games that require coins, which are not very meaningful 😂

Overall, the Diwang Building is worth a visit! It is definitely worth the price. The tour guide certificate gives me a free ticket 💪🏻, thank you for my hard work at that time.

I've been to the Oriental Pearl Tower before. Compared to it, the Diwang Tower is much smaller and doesn't have a glass plank road, but it was the tallest building in the 1990s, so it's still worth appreciating.

After resting for a while after leaving the luggage at the hotel, I took a taxi to the Kingkey Tower. The Kingkey Tower is currently the third tallest building in Shenzhen and the oldest building. It has now been surpassed by the Ping An International Financial Center and the Kingkey 100 Building next to it. However, the Kingkey Tower was built at a speed of 2.5 floors a day, which was one of the best efficiency in China at that time. It was very foggy on the day we went there, and the glass was a little dirty, which was not suitable for viewing. The ticket price is 80 yuan per ticket, and you can save about 10 yuan by booking on the website. The observation deck is on the 68th floor. After picking up the ticket downstairs, you will be given a 5 yuan voucher. This cup of milk tea only costs 10 yuan. Wait for the night view after sunset on the roof. The pirate robot on the roof is a bit like Wall-E in "Wall-E". The straight Shennan Avenue is nearly 25 kilometers long. The orange row of lights is the territory of Hong Kong, with a lot of farmland. Looking around, only the Kingkey 100 Building can rival the wax statues commemorating great men on the roof.

I personally don't recommend it. My god, you just go around one floor and that's it... The ticket is 80 yuan, the telescope is free to rent, and you need to deposit 200 yuan. There are facility coins to buy on the top, 10 yuan for 5 coins. I suggest not to buy them. Apart from the telescope, there is nothing else to play. The whole roof is glass outside and you can see the whole scenery of Shenzhen. The inside is just some posts introducing things about Hong Kong and Shenzhen. I thought there was some high-tech to experience. The elevator is also inside and you can't see outside. Not happy 🙁!

As a landmark building in Shenzhen, there is no need to say much about its fame. It is located on the most prosperous Shennan Avenue, standing quietly together with Kingkey 100.

Going to the Diwang Building to see the night view is definitely a scam! ! Don't go! ! !

Very average, not worth the 80 ticket price, the night view of Shenzhen is also average

That evening, we visited the Shenzhen Land King Building. It was pretty good to overlook Shenzhen in the mist! After taking various photos, we left a classic 21-second time-lapse video. However, Tang Yu Xiaobao's view of Kingkey 100 should and must be better, which really makes me jealous!

This is Shenzhen’s landmark building, a building that appeared on the cover of a junior high school textbook. It’s still a pleasant surprise to see it in person!

On the way to eat Daoxiang, I came across the Diwang Building, officially known as Shun Hing Plaza. The building is 69 stories high and has a total height of 383.95 meters (the actual building height is 324.8 meters). When it was built, it was the tallest building in Asia and the first steel-structured high-rise building in the country.

The sightseeing project "Shenzhen-Hong Kong Window" is located on the top floor of the Diwang Building, where you can overlook Shenzhen and Hong Kong. The ticket is 80 yuan. It was already late when we arrived, so we didn't visit it. If you come at dusk, you can consider going up to take a look.

You can eat at the high-rise Kingkey 100. If you are not short of money, you can enjoy the high-rise dinner. The per capita price is not low~

I went there on the first day and the night view was very nice and beautiful.

We didn't go in, we just looked at it from the outside, the building is not very distinctive
