The 2019 Shenzhen Flower Show in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is held in Shenzhen Xianhu Botanical Garden. You can get there by taking bus M526 and getting off at the terminal. Due to the large number of tourists, it is not recommended to drive there because the parking lot is full and you need to wait in a long line! The ticket for the Botanical Garden Flower Show is 15 yuan, the same as usual, and it has not increased. This is very conscientious! Because there are too many people, the bus in the park has stopped running, so I can only climb up by myself. Fortunately, the slope is very gentle. Remember to bring water because the water in the park vending machine is sold out. I walked along the route on the left and passed by the Xianhu Library. I can rest and read books inside. The environment is very good! Then walk a little further online to the Lansheng Pavilion, which is at the highest point and has a beautiful view of the park! Then walk a little further, go down the slope on the right, and you will come to the lakeside road. Walk along the lakeside road and you will reach the main venue of this flower show. There are also cultural performances. You can enter from Pavilion No. 1 and then visit these pavilions one by one. Then you can sit on the chairs in the performance area to watch the performance

It's quite big. It's recommended to take a car in and walk out, because it's much easier to go uphill and then downhill. If you want to take a car, you must go early, otherwise there will be a lot of people. The butterfly valley orchid inside is very beautiful and worth a visit. There is also a shade plant area next to it that you must visit. You can take a walk around the other fairy lakes, burn incense and worship Buddha at Hongfa Temple, and although the desert plant area is recommended, I don't feel much about it. It's also next to the fairy lake, so you can go shopping on the way. You must prepare food and water in advance when you enter to play, there is no place to consume inside.

By Vinlon |

Play time: 3-5 hours.

Transportation Guide: You can take Metro Line 2 or Line 8 to Xianhu Road Station Exit C3. After exiting the station, you can walk or take a bus to the park entrance; you can also drive yourself, and there is a parking lot in the park.

Ticket information: Tickets can be purchased in advance at Shenzhen Xianhu Botanical Garden and the Beautiful Shenzhen WeChat account. Adult tickets are 15 yuan, and minors under 18 years old, full-time undergraduate students and below can enjoy a half-price discount. Children under 6 years old or under 1.2 meters tall, and seniors over 70 years old are free of charge;

Other suggestions:

(1) Try to avoid holidays and weekends. The experience is better when there are fewer tourists. If you go on weekends, enter the park as early as possible;

(2) If you want to visit Hongfa Temple, please abide by the temple's regulations and dress appropriately;

(3) There are many mosquitoes in some areas of the park, so please be careful to prevent mosquito bites;

(4) Suggestions for travel route planning;

(5) You need to make an appointment for a parking space in the scenic area on the official account on weekends and holidays, but no appointment is required on weekdays. The parking fee is 5 yuan for the first hour for a small car, and 1 yuan per hour thereafter. There is no service fee for motor vehicles parked for no more than 15 minutes;

(6) Route planning suggestions

Leisure route: After entering the park, take a sightseeing bus to Hongfa Temple, pray and visit the fern garden, gesneria garden, and podocarpus garden, then go to the lake area lawn for a picnic, admire the trees planted by Deng Xiaoping, then visit the cactus and succulent garden, bonsai garden, and finally check in at Alsophila spinulosa Lake;

Hiking route: Walk from the main gate to Hongfa Temple, then visit the Cycad Garden, Crape Myrtle Garden, Aquatic Garden, and Fossil Forest in turn, then go to Tianshang Renjian, and go down the mountain via Yinsheng Garden and Diegu Youlan;

(7) Food recommendations

Inside the park: There are KFC and McDonald's, as well as vegetarian restaurants, but the prices are relatively high;

Outside the park: There are many snack shops and restaurants in the nearby Liantang Village, such as tofu pudding, rice noodle rolls, etc., which are affordable;

(8) Camera or mobile phone: The park has beautiful scenery and is suitable for taking photos. Please make sure that the camera or mobile phone is fully charged in advance or bring a power bank.

(9) Items: Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and mosquito repellent. Prepare plenty of drinking water and some snacks, such as bread and energy bars, because there are vending machines in the park, but the selection is limited;

(10) Travel tips

① Energy-saving type: If you don’t want to walk too long, you can take the Hongfa Temple special line to Hongfa Temple, then walk from Hongfa Temple to the surrounding attractions, and take the shuttle bus back after the tour.

② Comprehensive tour type: Buy a ticket for the whole park sightseeing bus, get off at the attractions you are interested in, and then take the next bus to continue your tour.

③ Avoid peak travel times: There are more tourists during holidays and weekends. Try to avoid taking the bus during peak hours to avoid waiting in line for a long time.

Publish the latest situation:

1. There are too many people during the Qingming Festival. To ensure the safety of tourists, the buses in the park have been suspended, and there are no other battery vehicles or anything like that. It is very far to walk, especially with children. The cactus is at the innermost part, which is very time-consuming and physically demanding.

2. You have to take the bus from Yijing and Huangbeiling subway stations to get there. When the bus arrives, you will be swarmed by people, and the same is true when you come back.

3. There is a serious shortage of toilets in the park, especially for female compatriots. There are long queues in every place.

4. There is no place to eat or drink water, so bring some dry food.

It's quite hot these two days, so you can come and visit when there aren't many people around.

There are so many locals who burn incense during the Chinese New Year. If you drive, you need to make an appointment. If you are not particularly yearning, you should not go. The place is quite beautiful and the tickets are very cheap.

Xianhu Botanical Garden is very large, and the desert plant area inside is considered a popular tourist attraction. For children in the north, the different scenery is still worth a visit.

Exit Lok Ma Chau and go straight to Kam Tin Road opposite Pizza Hut. Take bus No. 202 to the terminus and get off at the Fairy Lake entrance. Admission is $15.

Green is the true color of life. It is a place that makes people feel relaxed and happy. I like it! The 15 yuan ticket is really worth it. We went there on a rainy day, which did not affect our mood at all! It feels more flavorful. You can choose to take a bus to the mountain for three yuan. Hongfa Temple is a famous temple in Shenzhen. Burn incense and worship Buddha, etc. You can also eat vegetarian meals in the temple at a certain time, and do good deeds. After that, you can walk around the botanical garden, the fossil forest, the cactus and succulent garden... It is also suitable for taking pictures. Walk by the lake, the microwaves are rippling, and the ripples are rising, away from the hustle and bustle of the city!

By Quiet as the sea |

It exceeded my expectations. I’ll share some beautiful scenery that you didn’t post in the pictures.

By 🐱 |

The environment is very good! The vegetation is very rich, and the fossil museum in the garden is free to visit. However, the transportation to Xianhu Botanical Garden is very convenient. I chose to take the bus at Huangbeiling subway station, and it took five stops to reach the terminal station Xianhu Botanical Garden. The ticket is very cheap, 15 yuan per person, but I could only pay in cash on the day I went. After entering the gate, you can choose to walk up the mountain or take a bus, which costs three yuan per person. It is recommended to start from the palm forest and visit the lake, but it is a pity that I visited all the gardens.

Walking in the jungle, feeling the breeze, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, I feel particularly comfortable and happy.

By The geese are coming back |

This time we came, the scenic spot did not charge admission. You only need to scan a QR code and scan your ID card to enter the scenic spot. I walked slowly with the crowd. There were all kinds of interesting plants and flowers. It was a natural oxygen bar. The first major attraction in the scenic spot should be a temple halfway up the mountain: Hongfa Temple. It is said that the incense is very popular!

When we arrived at the foot of the temple, we changed our route and headed down the mountain to the left. We felt that the large lake at the foot of the mountain looked so beautiful that it attracted us even more. Besides, all the tourists had gone to the temple, so we could just take a break and have some quiet time.

Unlike parks in the mainland, where food is sold everywhere, we didn't bring any food with us. After walking around, we finally found the only cafe inside to have lunch. The food was definitely not good, and it was expensive. Next time, friends who come here, remember to bring some dry food.

The afternoon sunshine makes people feel lazy. After coming out of the cafe with my friend, I took a nap on the leisure chair outside the garden, basking in the sun and listening to music. It was so comfortable.

After four o'clock in the afternoon, the two people, who had rested enough, took a walk along the lakeside path behind the cafe. The lake was sparkling, birds were circling in the sky, and the laughter of tourists was endless. The good times flowed naturally before them.

By Spring Brother |

I think the bee friends gave it a low rating. I went there once and it was great. After entering from the north gate, you will see the medicinal plant area, with at least 1,000 kinds of medicines. Then there is the fossil forest and fossil museum, with many fossils. The forest-like fossil forest and dinosaur fossils are not on display. Then there is the desert plant area and the bonsai area, which are all very special. I only visited a part of it in 4 hours! It's fun. My wife said that the park lost a lot of money for the 15 yuan ticket, it's worth it! Even the plants in the toilet are real and clean!

It's a big botanical garden. After a busy day of work and study, it's a good place to relax, take photos, and walk with family and friends. The ticket is only 15 yuan (student price is 5 yuan), and you can go directly to Wutong Mountain.

I really like this botanical garden. It is really necessary for northerners to go there. You won’t get bored even if you spend a whole day there.

By Aji Aqi |

Very good, I personally prefer natural landscapes. Northerners can come here for a walk if they come to Guangdong for the first time. It is a typical Guangdong landscape with picturesque scenery. It is very suitable for the elderly and children. The road is flat, the route is reasonable, there are mountains and water, and the vegetation is lush. It is basically not exposed to the sun. Parents and children have a lot of fun

By 67_L |

There are so many plants, and basically every plant has a detailed label description. Great!

By China-TravelNote users |

Xianhu Botanical Garden is a garden with the theme of temple culture and plant appreciation. The second phase of Hongfa Temple is under construction. The medicinal plant pavilion is under construction this time. The desert plant area is also under construction. There are basically no butterflies in the butterfly valley. It feels that the management of Xianhu Botanical Garden has gone downhill in recent years. However, the ticket price of 15 yuan is still relatively cost-effective and suitable for weekend leisure for people in this city.

Xianhu Botanical Garden is closer to nature. I think it is nice to come here to breathe some fresh air and bring the children to exercise. Now you can no longer drive up here, but fortunately there is a large parking lot next to the scenic area, which is free within two hours. The entire park is quite large and is divided into different scenic areas. What impressed me most were the desert plant area, the shade plant area and the ancient fossil forest. The scenery of lakes and mountains are all quite nice.

By Sunset SMILE |

Xianhu Botanical Garden, I have been to Shenzhen for 4 years and I have been there twice. I entered the garden twice. The first time I went through Wutong Mountain without paying a ticket, and the second time I went through the main gate and bought a ticket. In fact, many parks in Shenzhen have already stopped charging tickets, but I don't know why Xianhu still charges a ticket. Fortunately, the ticket is not expensive, 20 yuan per person.

Xianhu Botanical Garden is not as fairy-like as its name suggests. There is only a lake inside - an artificial lake, and the water is not very clean; the vegetation is very rich, and it is a natural oxygen bar. I went there twice. The first time was to see the beauty of Xianhu Lake, but I was disappointed; the second time was to see its "most beautiful parking lot" (the most beautiful parking lot in Shenzhen that is widely circulated on the Internet), and it was worth the trip.

By style |

By Puff God |

Strictly speaking, Xianhu Botanical Garden is not a small place, and it should not be included in the small scenic spots. However, since most people who go to Xianhu Botanical Garden first think of Hongfa Temple, burning incense, etc., I plan to write about other scenic spots in this scenic area (compared with Hongfa Temple, other scenic spots are really less crowded).

By clean |

Xianhu Botanical Garden is very big. It is a good place to visit on weekends. The Hongfa Temple inside is very popular.

By Jessica |

There were not many people on the mountain in the morning, and the weather was comfortable, but there were many buses connecting to the mountain, which made the air smelly. However, the air on other mountain and lakeside trails was very good, especially the trails by the lake were particularly beautiful.

By seal |

Hongfa Temple is very popular, and its area is expanding. In the future, it will become one of the largest temples in China.

I arrived at the entrance of Xianhu Botanical Garden at 1:30 pm. The ticket price was 15 yuan, and the student ticket was 5 yuan. There was a car at the entrance that could take you directly to Tianshang Renjian for 3 yuan per person. I looked at the Gaode map at the entrance and found that it was only 2 kilometers to Tianshang Renjian, so I decided to walk up. However, the sidewalks along the way are being upgraded, and only lanes can be used for pedestrians and vehicles. It is not recommended to walk up. There are all kinds of cars along the way, the gasoline smell is heavy, the dust is flying, and the air is not good. It is better to take a bus from the entrance. Because the road is being repaired, there are no attractions. Start from Tianshang Renjian. There are various road signs along the way. Everyone can choose where they want to go. Xianhu Botanical Garden is too big, and it is a bit tiring to walk down, but there are sightseeing buses at the scenic spots. The specific price is unclear. I walked all the way because I like to walk along the way and take pictures. Because the photos taken are in the camera, there is no computer to read the photos for the time being, and I will make up the photos another day. Xianhu Botanical Garden is worth going to when you are bored on weekends and breathe the air inside. I heard that Hongfa Temple is very effective, so I thought about going there before the Chinese New Year to make a wish, hoping that my family and friends would be safe and sound. After visiting Hongfa Temple, I went to the lake to have a look. You can go boating there. The lake is quite large, and I didn't ask the specific price. I went there alone, so I didn't want to go boating. I didn't plan the route carefully, so I just walked around and went to a very interesting fern plant museum. There are no flowers in this season, so I just look at various trees and plants. I will go again in spring. Here are some pictures that I already have on my phone. If you go alone, you can bring a selfie stick to take selfies, hahaha. . I still like to travel alone. It feels so good to walk whenever you want, stop and take pictures! Find a place where there are not many people and take whatever you want. Take as many pictures as you want, and there will always be a picture you like. I think I like walking around and playing alone more and more!

There are more than a dozen garden attractions such as Bieyoudongtian, Liangyi Pavilion, Yudai Bridge, Longzun Tower, Tingtao Pavilion, Lansheng Pavilion, and a paleontological museum. The palm area is covered with green grass, coconut trees and sunflower trees are scattered among them, creating a tropical scenery; in the shade plant area, carnivorous plants are waiting for opportunities to prey; in the fossil forest, agate fossils stand proudly, and the rings of trees cannot be erased by billions of years, as if telling people about the vicissitudes of the earth's history; in the desert greenhouse, sand plants compete for beauty; in the morning light, the bells of Hongfa Temple echo, and the chanting music is slow and fast, which makes people solemn; in the sunset, the lake is shimmering, and the green trees and pavilions are reflected in it, the scenery is picturesque, and people linger.

Tickets are 15 yuan for the park shuttle bus 3 express single trips, and the shuttle bus goes to Tianshang Renjian. Share a few photos

The Fossil Forest is a place worth visiting. The construction of the Fossil Forest began in 1997. It covers an area of 20,000 square meters and has collected and introduced more than 500 petrified trees from Liaoning, Xinjiang and Inner Mongolia. These petrified trees are identified by experts as pine and fir plants, which were formed in the Mesozoic era between 150 million and 70 million years ago. At that time, it was the most prosperous period in the evolution of cone plants. The tall trees were buried under the strata due to intense crustal movement and formed fossils through silicification. So far, this is the only large-scale fossil forest preserved in situ in the world.

There is a famous temple in Shenzhen - Hongfa Temple in the botanical garden.

I heard that no tickets are required before 8 am. We arrived at 9 am. The ticket seemed to be 20 yuan. The scenery was pretty good, divided into many scenic spots. Unfortunately, I didn't go to the Phalaenopsis Garden that day because I was in a hurry. But it happened to be the time when peach blossoms were blooming. Although they were not all over the mountains, they were also beautiful! It is suitable for leisurely strolls with family and also for taking pictures. You just need to bring mosquito repellent. It was the rainy season when I went there, and there were more mosquitoes. The Hongfa Temple on the mountain is very famous. If you are not in a hurry, you must go and see it. Burn incense~ The transportation is actually very convenient. There is a bus stop at the gate of the scenic area, but it is inconvenient to eat. It is better to bring your own.

It is a paid attraction, but entrance from Xiao Wutong and Greenway No. 5 beside the Shenzhen Reservoir is free. There are many plants in the park, and the trees planted by several central leaders are the biggest highlight.

By Summer is coming |

From East Lake Park, along the reservoir greenway all the way to Xianhu Botanical Garden. Shenzhen, as a subtropical city by the sea, is full of betel nut trees and coconut trees. Entering Xianhu, it feels like another time and space

This world is full of autumn. The best places for Xianhu are the butterfly valley orchids and shade plant areas. You can find the green, red, blue, white and yellow you want all year round.

The environment is very good, the ticket price is 20 yuan/person. You can take a bus to the mountain, 3 yuan/person, one way.

Xianhu Lake is a beautiful girl with different charm in each season. It has an orchid garden, a humidity botanical garden, a tropical botanical garden, a bonsai garden, a fossil forest, a peach blossom forest, etc. It is divided into small landscapes with beautiful scenery that you will never get tired of seeing.

The botanical garden is quite large. There are direct buses. You need to buy tickets. There are temples inside where Buddhists can go to burn incense. It is more suitable to go on weekends.

Very good, large botanical garden, very local, with tall coconut trees, clear lakes, and a variety of plants. We went there in spring, it was super beautiful, and we wandered around for almost a whole day!

20 tickets, very cost-effective, it's very big inside, it's not enough to visit in half a day, fortunately it's a sightseeing bus, there are many people

Located at the foot of Wutong Mountain, it is a little remote, but the scenery is really endless. There are many kinds of plants that can be named and not named. It is a good place to combine exercise and leisure.

I still remember those plants clearly, many of which I have never seen before.

The more recommended places in Xianhu Botanical Garden are Hongfa Temple and Fossil Forest. The former is a more famous temple and is especially crowded during Chinese New Year. The latter is next to the Peach Blossom Garden, so it is recommended to go there when the flowers are in bloom as it will be more beautiful. Secondly, there is also the Bonsai Garden, which is nice to take a rest after the walk.

Xianhu Botanical Garden is one of my favorite places in Shenzhen. I spent a large part of my childhood in Shenzhen, and a large part of that time was spent in Xianhu. Xianhu is a reservoir near the Wutong Mountains in Shenzhen. A botanical garden, leisure hotels and the only temple in Shenzhen, Hongfa Temple, are built around the reservoir. During holidays, there is an endless stream of people coming to Xianhu Hongfa Temple to burn incense and pray for blessings, and the convoys often line up for several kilometers. Xianhu is indeed a Feng Shui treasure land, very spiritual. When I revisited this place after growing up, I was still impressed by its charm.

Shenzhen has a lot of parks! What’s unique here is that there are so many trees, so many trees, so many trees!

The scenery of Xianhu Botanical Garden is nice. The place is very large. I felt tired after walking around. I remember that there is no ticket before 8 o'clock. In addition, there is a discount for tickets over 60 years old.

I went there on Saturday afternoon. There were many tourists, and many people drove in. The ticket was 20 yuan, and there was a bus to Tianshang Renjian at the entrance, and the ticket price was 3 yuan. Hongfa Temple was very popular, and there were people distributing incense for free at the entrance, and many people brought their own flowers and incense. There is a small library inside, which is decorated in an antique style. Hongfa Temple is a certain distance away from other attractions, and it is quite tiring to walk there. You can walk to the lake area along the road. The scenery by the lake is very good, and it is quite comfortable to bask in the sun. I have to complain that the park is too big, and you can't rent a bicycle inside. If you visit every attraction, you will be exhausted, and the ticket price of 20 yuan is not worth it, but the scenery is still pretty good.

When I visited Xianhu Botanical Garden in winter, it was gray and foggy in the morning, making it a great place to go on weekends.

Xianhu Botanical Garden, ticket price is 20 yuan per person, free time: 4:00~8:00, 18:00~21:30, wow, free to explore the garden, it's great to go to Chimelong Halloween Party (Chimelong Halloween Party in Guangzhou), as for the story, you can find it by searching Baidu. The botanical garden is very small, Zhutou and I walked through the whole garden in 3 hours on a rainy day, except for the fossil museum (which charges 20 yuan, which is a rip-off, so we decided not to go in).

By morning |

I used to think that Xianhu Botanical Garden was a nice place, and the ticket price was not expensive, especially in the summer, you could find a place to sit for a day. Although Xianhu is much more beautiful now, there are more people now, and in contrast, fewer and fewer people go there. However, it is still worth a visit for those who are new to Shenzhen

It's very hot. You must bring an umbrella if you go.

The exhibition halls inside are relatively scattered. There are many large cacti in the tropical hall that are worth seeing.

The scenery is great and suitable for a picnic with friends

It's quite relaxing to go for a walk as a family on a weekend afternoon.

By Travel |

The transportation is still very convenient. You can take lines 202, 220, 363, 382, etc. and get off at Xianhu Botanical Garden Station!

The ticket price is 20 yuan per person. Because it is very big, you can choose to take the bus inside (3 yuan) or walk. If you have enough time, it is recommended to walk, which can exercise your body, save money, and you can also see the scenery along the way!

Once you go in, you can see some tall trees on both sides, including many species of trees such as Taiwan Acacia. It is recommended to arrange a day!

In fact, most tourists go to the temple inside - Hongfa Temple. I heard that it is the most popular temple in Shenzhen. As soon as you enter the gate, someone will hold an incense stick. If you are sincere but don’t have any, you can go there to get it, it’s free. Go further inside, you can see many tourists praying devoutly. I am no exception. I also went up to join in the fun, but I also prayed sincerely. There are some very tall copper furnaces inside. I saw many people throwing coins into them, which is probably another way of praying. On the way down, I also saw a commemorative coin vending machine. It seemed to be five yuan per coin, and you can choose the pattern yourself. I bought two commemorative coins and then dragged my tired body back home. It was still a gain!

Xianhu Botanical Garden and Wutong Mountain are also connected, so if you are interested you can go and have a look!

It is a place for walking, sightseeing and worshiping, but as there are activities like picking strawberries and other things inside, it is recommended for people with a car to go, otherwise you will be exhausted.
