Transportation Tips:

①Note! The OCT subway station is not the OCT East!! The OCT East is in a remote area, don’t ask me why I thought of this.

② We took the subway line 2 to Huangbeiling, and took M1919 to Dameisha Bus Terminal. There are many buses to various suburban attractions at Huangbeiling Bus Station, such as Dameisha, Xiaomeisha, and OCT, and there are dedicated traffic guides at the station, which is quite convenient.

③There are raincoats for sale at the door, about 12 yuan for 4 pieces, and you can bargain.

④Tickets: 200; you can get a guide map at the entrance. Although the scenic area is very large, it is basically a straight line going up.

OCT East is mainly composed of two parts: Grand Canyon and Tea Creek Valley. The Grand Canyon mainly has some exciting attractions, while Tea Creek Valley has more natural scenery. As young people with a good family background, we chose the Grand Canyon.

The third stop was the Children's Fun Park, where there were many projects. We queued up for the [Jungle Shuttle] first. The waiting time for this one was longer, but I personally felt it was just average, not exciting. It was just two people in a car sliding in a tunnel in the forest, with acceleration and braking gears, but the scenery in the distance was still beautiful.

Next is [Sea Storm]. I didn't wear a raincoat to look cool, but after the end, I was soaked. But this project is really fun. It's a group of 4 people sitting in a car, each with a water gun that can be switched to shoot at each other. But only the hands at the beginning and end can shoot at each other, the rest can only shoot at the wall.

Fourth stop: Canyon Adventure

[Four Thousand Leagues to the Center of the Earth], you wear 3D glasses, sit on a small wooden train, and watch a movie in a cave. But this time the movie was very realistic, and it was so warm inside that it almost dried my wet clothes.

OCT East and Tea Creek Valley are separate, and it takes about two days to visit. OCT East is mainly amusement park, and it can be said to be an amusement park built on a mountain. Hahahaha~ It is best to take a cable car to the aerial plank road first, and then come down to play other projects. The small train on Douyin is in Tea Creek Valley. Tea Creek Valley is mainly for the scenery, and there are basically no attractions. It is also to take the small train first, and then go back to other attractions.

The company that went there in May 2017 organized it. I stayed there for one night. The company was very stingy. I stayed in a four-person room with bunk beds. There was no way. The accommodation here was too expensive. I didn't care about it for the purpose of playing, hahaha. The Grand Canyon was only fun on the top of the mountain. It was foggy that day. The brave ones played the roller coaster and screamed the whole time. It was scary to watch. The scenery was not bad, after all, it was at a high altitude. There was a wooden roller coaster at the foot of the mountain. My colleagues said it was very exciting, but I didn't dare. The cable car must be taken because it is really high. After the Grand Canyon, I went to Tea Creek Valley. It took three hours to queue up for the cable car! Not long after the cable car ended, I had to take a small train, which was quite exciting. Tea Creek Valley was very disappointing, very disappointing. There were not many flowers at that time, and the location was very far away. The town was very shabby, and all the buildings were just decorations, so you couldn't go in. Those who can take pictures can choose angles and take a few good photos, but it was really boring. A group of people were cooling off under the trees in the hot summer. I heard that the ticket price was 180 hehe. After reading what some netizens said before, there is no worst attraction in Shenzhen, only worse attractions, hahahaha. I have been in Shenzhen for five or six years. You can go to Window of the World and Happy Valley, but I think the ticket price is seriously not worth it. By the way, I want to mention the Underwater World in Xiaomeisha, which is full of flaws. Anyone who has been there knows. It may also be because I went to Chimelong before, so I can't stand the low-quality attractions. I didn't take many photos, so you can just take a look.

Damn, you really can't come here. About 80% of the facilities in the Grand Canyon are closed. The rest are outsourced to stores, and they all charge extra. There are signs everywhere for maintenance. On 20190207, I went to Shenzhen OCT East with my parents and wife. This scenic spot is suitable for family travel. If you bring your parents, it will be a waste of those exciting entertainment projects. Most of them are man-made landscapes + entertainment equipment. If you want to see animals, you should go to Chimelong.

A must-visit place in Shenzhen is OCT East. I have already been to Ocean Park in Hong Kong. Visiting here is a different experience. The recreational projects are not as good as those in Ocean Park in Hong Kong.

A large park built on the mountain, suitable for hiking, no attractions worth visiting, the only worthwhile train stopped running, Chaling Bridge was also closed, all the main attractions were closed, how can you still charge 180? Definitely not recommended, because it is not worth it

Both Daxia Valley and Chaxi Valley are very good and must be recommended with five stars!

Interlaken

I have always believed that the most worthwhile attraction in Shenzhen is not Dameisha, nor Overseas Chinese Town, but Huaqiangbei. In Overseas Chinese Town, you will eventually see other people's Interlaken, but in Huaqiangbei, one day you will see our own Intel.

The scenery of Tea Creek Valley is very beautiful. I took a lot of beautiful photos. It feels like there are places to take pictures everywhere. As for the Grand Canyon, we mainly played games. The wooden roller coaster was good, very exciting and fun. I recommend you to experience it!

Shenzhen people do not discredit local man-made attractions. The scenic spot parking lot charges 52 yuan for 7 hours of parking. Do you have some shame?

The Cloud Tribe in the OCT Grand Canyon is located in the OCT East of Dameisha. There are so many amusement projects that one day is probably not enough. You can choose two days! Moreover, the glass bridge under the Cloud Tribe is made of transparent glass, which makes people stand there and their legs shake unconsciously. It is very exciting. I went there earlier, and gradually more people came and it was foggy. The scenery was very good. Tickets are required! You can drive to the Grand Canyon. There are internal buses to the Grand Canyon!

Searching for Shenzhen attractions on China-TravelNote, the first of the top 5 must-see attractions is OCT East. So of course we have to go there.

However, OCT East is very large. This "large tourist attraction" that "integrates sightseeing, leisure, entertainment and accommodation" is mainly composed of four parts, namely Daxia Valley, Chaxi Valley, Dahuaxing Temple and Yunhai Valley.

Each of these four parts would take a whole day or even longer to explore in detail, so we could only choose one of the four.

So we thought about it: more than half of the projects in Daxia Valley are quite exciting, my daughter is too young and her courage is even smaller than her age, so she can't play them; the content of Dahuaxing Temple is too monotonous; Yunhai Valley is for the rich, so people like me shouldn't go there to join in the fun.

So our only option was the Tea Creek Valley, which is suitable for all ages.

1: Green travel is recommended, parking fees are expensive. Off-season: 5 yuan for the first hour, 1.5 yuan for half an hour thereafter. Peak season: 10 yuan for the first hour, 3 yuan for half an hour thereafter. Peak season is from May to November

2. If you have purchased a ticket for the Grand Canyon alone, do not take the train (you need to buy a ticket for Tea Creek Valley to ride this, otherwise you can buy a ticket on site for $180. Do not queue up to take the Jungle Cable Car Line 2 to the Big Bend Train Station. It's a waste of time because they will tell you that you need to buy a ticket when you want to take the train).

3. The consumption inside is very high, a bottle of mineral water costs 8 yuan. There is no need to say anything else (it is recommended to bring your own food and drink, the rich can do whatever they want)

4: The glass plank road does have many scratches on the surface, just like frosted glass!

5. The performances were OK except for the Roaring Flood and The Wizard of Oz (for my baby). The rest were just to kill time.

6: It is recommended to sit at the front or back of Jungle Cable Car Line 1 because you can't see anything in the middle car!

7: You don’t need to pick up tickets when you purchase them online, just go to the entrance and show the QR code!

8: It is not recommended to use a viewing telescope. Seven yuan for two minutes, ten yuan for three minutes, and it is troublesome to adjust. Once you understand how to play, the time is up!

Others are pretty standard, some projects are still under maintenance due to the typhoon! It is recommended to play projects in the morning and watch the show in the afternoon!

The view from the top of the mountain is great. It was cloudy when we went there and the wind was very comfortable.

There are also roller coasters, summits, observation towers, etc. on the top of the mountain. The roller coaster was too scary so we didn't dare to ride it.



The top is a U-shaped observation deck with transparent glass underneath. However, the deck is very small and the glass is very dirty and has become opaque, so it doesn't feel scary.

The Rainbow Flower Sea was under maintenance, and the Yunhai Cableway was also under maintenance, so we just visited the town and the tea garden.

Then we took a small train to the Grand Canyon, but it was horrible. Due to the promotion, there were so many people here that it was scary. The wooden roller coaster, rapids and 6D cinema all had queues of more than 2 hours, so we couldn't have fun at all. The weather was extremely sunny, so we didn't even have the mood to queue. We watched the queue for the wooden roller coaster stretching from the hillside to the bottom of the mountain. p.s. If you only buy the Tea Creek Valley ticket but not the Grand Canyon ticket, you need to take bus 909 to the main entrance of the Tea Creek Valley. It costs 15 yuan per person and is free for people over 70 years old. It’s about a 20-minute mountain road. It’s a bit bumpy but the scenery is nice.

PPS gives two stars for public services because the signs inside and outside the park are unclear and there are few signs!! Especially the Tea Creek Valley! After we went to the Sanzhou Tea Garden, we couldn't get out. We had a map but didn't know which road we were on the map. We didn't know which entrance to the Grand Canyon unless we asked outside. We had to take a bus to the Tea Creek Valley. We ran to the ticket office and asked the staff to find out. In addition, you can't pick up tickets if you buy tickets online. You can only enter with your ID card at one time. If you want to go in batches, don't buy multiple tickets with the same person's ID card!! There was no reminder when buying tickets. Why did they say that guests of the Black Forest Hotel can pass through and enter the park in advance, and they took pictures of our family of three with their mobile phones, like criminals, which was not good.

I bought a one-day package for the Grand Canyon and Tea Creek Valley. I think there is nothing special about the Grand Canyon, just the valley + entertainment. Tea Creek Valley is not bad. I strongly recommend the Interlaken town in Tea Creek Valley. It is very beautiful. I suggest you check the weather forecast before going. It is very cold and windy inside.

If you go to Shenzhen, this place is definitely worth a visit.
