Introduction to the scenic spot: Fenghuang Mountain, the main part of the scenic area, is a low mountain range on the east bank of the Pearl River Estuary, known as the "No. 1 Mountain in Bao'an". The mountain range spans Shajing, Gongming, Fuyong, Xixiang and other places from north to south. The main part is located in Xixiang and Fuyong. The highest peak is Damao Mountain, the boundary mountain between Fuyong and Xixiang, with an altitude of 376 meters. Fenghuang Mountain was listed as one of the eight scenic spots in Xin'an in the Qing Dynasty. The Fenghuang Ancient Village at the foot of the mountain is the ancestral home and folk residence of the descendants of Wen Tianxiang. It was built in the Dade period at the end of the Song Dynasty and the beginning of the Song Dynasty. Toilet situation: There are few public toilets at the foot of the mountain, some intersections and the top of the mountain.

Other suggestions:

(1) It takes about 1.5 hours to reach the summit, and 3 hours is required for the round trip. If you are short on time, it is not recommended to reach the summit;

(2) Parking lots in scenic spots are free for the first half hour. Regardless of whether there are parking spaces, if you enter the parking lot after the free time, you will be charged. If there are still no parking spaces after a round of parking, it is not recommended to wait. You should leave quickly and find a nearby parking spot.

(3) You can bring some boxed lemon tea, Yibao, etc. before you come. The price of drinks in convenience stores here is a few dollars higher than outside;

(4) Try to come early during holidays, as parking spaces fill up quickly;

(5) Tunnel traffic jams are common on weekends, so it is recommended to arrive at the scenic spot before noon;

(6) There are multiple entrances to Phoenix Mountain. The main entrance has densely distributed scenic spots and many check-in points. Try to choose this entrance to enter the mountain. If you cannot find a parking space, consider other entrances.

The descendants of the Wen family fled south to avoid disaster and stayed there for a thousand years, building the ancient village of Fenghuang and a ancestral temple. Although the scenery is not stunning, it is a journey where one can enjoy the scenery and climb to a high place, which is a unique experience.

I was attracted to this place because I heard people say that praying for marriage at Phoenix Mountain is very accurate when I first arrived in Shenzhen. When my mother came to Shenzhen, I took her there for a walk. Phoenix Mountain can be seen from a distance. It is very big and the scenery is very beautiful. I met a lot of young people who came here to pray for marriage. I prayed for one myself, and the fortune teller told me that there is no marriage this year. It has been more than half a year, and there is indeed no marriage yet. Looking at the fortune, I think it is quite accurate.

Occasionally, you can meet some people burning incense and worshipping Buddha along the way. The ground along the way is full of old tree roots, like the protruding blue veins on the back of an old man's hand, bending irregularly, telling the vicissitudes of life. On the stone steps going up the mountain, each stone step is engraved with the word "Fu" in different fonts, which is very creative. The "Holy Water Spring" is built beside the stone steps, close to the Banshan Pavilion. It is said that Guanyin Bodhisattva wanted tourists to climb the mountain here, and they were already thirsty, so she created a hidden cloud spring beside the Banshan Pavilion so that tourists could quench their thirst, taste the spring and have a rest. The spring water can still be drunk directly, and many tourists put the water in cups and take it down the mountain. Continue to go up the mountain, and pass by Banshan Pavilion and Buyun Pavilion one after another.

Phoenix Mountain is not high and there is a temple where people can burn incense and worship Buddha. Phoenix Mountain is not far away, so it is also nice to spend some time to watch the sunset on the west side of Baoan.

The transportation is convenient. You can take the bus directly to the square at the foot of the mountain. There are many people on weekends and the weather is hot. It happened to rain when we were climbing the mountain, so we didn’t reach the top.

It was very nice. We went there after the rain. The air was full of negative ions. We went there on weekdays. There were still some people but not many. We couldn't count the number of steps from the bottom of the mountain to the top. There was a Phoenix Rock Temple halfway up the mountain. It was still very popular. You could rest there and have some snacks. It was too tiring to climb up. When we went down the mountain, we took another primitive stone path. Our feet were shaking as we went down. We almost slipped several times. It is not recommended for people with weak legs to take the stone path, but the scenery is good and you can pass by the stream, which has crabs, shrimps and fish fry.

There is no need to climb to the top of the mountain.

Fenghuangshan Park is outside the customs. I have been to all the parks in Shenzhen. If this park is close, you might as well go and see it. If it is far, there is no need. I went there from Chegongmiao, and took the subway and bus for five or six hours. The result was very disappointing. In fact, there is a road behind the ancient temple that goes directly to the top of the mountain. It takes about 5 minutes to reach the top of Phoenix, where the scenery is better.
