The Splendid China Folk Village itself consists of two parts, Splendid China and China Folk Village. Now the two parks have been merged.
Splendid China is mainly for viewing miniature scenic spots and taking photos, with nearly 100 famous Chinese scenic spots reduced in size at a ratio of 1:15.
The mini version of the Great Wall, the Terracotta Warriors and Horses of Qin Dynasty, the Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang, the Huangguoshu Waterfall and other places of interest can all be seen here, so there is a saying that "you can travel around China in one day".
You can appreciate the unique customs of China's 56 ethnic groups, including colorful ethnic minority costumes, village architecture, and various folk performances.

I checked in yesterday. The 200-dollar ticket was a bit expensive. I thought it was very big before I went, but after I walked around, I found that, eh, it seemed to be just a small park hahahahaha. So if you set the time limit, 2-3 hours is enough to make you hungry (I really don’t understand what those who stay for a whole day can do there hahaha)
First of all, it is worth going. The miniature version is very well made. My favorite is the Summer Palace. The Summer Palace + Shenzhen is really beautiful!
Overall, it is worth a visit. I admire the designer of this park. The design of the waterway and the entire section is still great. I have not been to many attractions, but I have seen them on the Internet. However, the miniature version will be very real, such as there is an Elephant Mountain and the Huangguoshu Waterfall inside.
There are many places to rest inside, and there are seats almost everywhere. If your phone runs out of battery, you can go to the restaurant inside. There are sockets next to the tables, and the food is not expensive.
I didn't see the performances mentioned in other reviews, and I don't have anything to recommend.
As for snacks, they are those sold by chain restaurants, which I never recommend.

(3) You can bring some water and snacks with you. There are also restaurants and snack stands in the scenic area, so you can bring your own food to replenish your energy at any time.
Recommendation index: ★★★★★
This place is the domestic version of the miniature landscape, and Window of the World is the international version of the miniature landscape. Through these two attractions, I really experienced the helplessness of a city that has no attractions but has to create attractions... You can go and see it casually, but it is not worth the ticket price. You don't have to buy the battery car in the scenic area, and you can take the cruise ship if you want. It's average.
Not bad, take your time to stroll around. I really want to continue traveling and visit the actual place.
It was OK, but I was too hot when I went there.
People always feel happier when they are close to happiness, but become anxious and worried when they are happy.
Splendid China (with miniature models of Chinese landmark buildings as the main attractions), Folk Village (mainly displaying the living environment and culture of different ethnic groups). Due to time constraints, we only visited Tibetan houses, cave dwellings, Korean houses, etc. in the Folk Village.
All the Chinese attractions are described in microcosm, so the impressions are also very subtle. If you have seen the original appearance of the attractions, you will definitely find it more subtle, hehe...
My mother watched for 2 hours and said she couldn't watch anymore. The scenery was not interesting, so she didn't watch the show.
Walking in the Splendid China Folk Village is like walking on the 9.6 million square kilometers of land in China. Although the metaphor is a bit exaggerated, you can appreciate the culture of different regions and different nationalities here. The ticket should be 180 yuan, the annual card is about 540 yuan, the annual card is half price on Double Eleven, and the night ticket is 45 yuan. If you want to play, you can play for a whole day. There are three big performances arranged in one day. There are two during the day, and there is a fashion show of Golden Arms and Iron Horses, and there is a performance of Dragon and Phoenix Dance in China at night. Splendid China is a large-scale cultural theme park jointly established by Hong Kong China Travel International Investment Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Town Co., Ltd., located on the beautiful Shenzhen Bay. It is currently the world's largest and most content-rich real-life miniature scenic spot, covering an area of 450 acres, divided into two parts: Splendid China and Folk Culture Village.
The 82 scenic spots are all distributed according to the location of China's territory, and most of them are built at a ratio of 1:15. The scenic spots of "Splendid China" are all arranged according to their location on the Chinese territory. The entire park is like a huge map of China. These scenic spots can be divided into three categories: ancient buildings, landscapes, and folk customs. There are more than 50,000 pottery figurines placed in various scenic spots.
I went there very early in 2017. I have enough words to post photos.
I knew about Splendid China and Shenzhen Splendid China in elementary school. From a small fishing village to a big city, I finally saw the Splendid China in my elementary school textbooks with my own eyes during my graduate studies. It was still very shocking. I felt like I traveled all over China in one day and learned a lot of knowledge.
I saw it once a long time ago. There were not many folk villages like this at that time, so I thought it was quite novel. Now I have no interest in going in.
The scenic area includes Splendid China on the left and Folk Village on the right. Splendid China is a miniature scenic area, including 1:15 scaled-down versions of famous Chinese landscapes such as the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, and the Summer Palace. Folk Village allows visitors to appreciate the architectural styles of various ethnic groups’ dwellings, and performances and activities are basically held here. Sometimes, special activities such as the Water Splashing Festival are launched according to ethnic festivals.
Worth visiting attractions, small versions of famous places across the country, here you need to upload photos smaller than 8M, because the photos taken by SLR are rarely 8M, here first upload 2 photos
Don't go too early, it opens at 10am
Tickets: 180 yuan (Splendid China and China Folk Village pass)
Reference time: 4-6 hours
There are many performances in the Chinese Folk Village during the day, and the content and form are similar to those of Songcheng in Hangzhou and Qingming Riverside Park in Kaifeng. The large-scale song and dance performance "Dragon and Phoenix Dance in China" in the evening is very beautiful and magnificent.
The ticket covers the train and boat. If there are elderly people, you can take the car tour. If there are no elderly people, I sincerely recommend taking a slow tour~
It is recommended to visit the Splendid China Miniature Landscape in the morning, because the performances in the Folk Village basically all start in the afternoon.
The two shows in the evening must be watched, ethnic costumes, fireworks, super beautiful, worthy of the ticket price, in addition, the festival needs to be charged separately, so be careful
It's average, if the original price of the ticket is old, it doesn't feel worth it
Very pleasant surprise
Beautiful night view
The wonderful performance and the ever-changing stage are no less than the big stage that was said to have cost 300 million yuan to build in Fenghuang Ancient Town.
There are many ways to miniaturize many famous landscapes in my country
The customs and habits from all over the country displayed by lanterns also promote the Chinese culture very well.
It's also suitable for the whole family to come and play together
Although it is a night scene, I believe it must be more beautiful during the day
Most of the scenic spots and natural landscapes in Splendid China have a scale of 1:15, with some being 1:10 or 1:8. The largest is 1:1 (two caves in Mogao Grottoes), while the international scale is generally 1:25. Therefore, the attractions in Splendid China are relatively large. You can experience the 5,000-year history of China and travel across the country in one day.
The subway can go directly to "Overseas Chinese Town" and exit from Exit D. You can book tickets online the day before, or there will be a tour guide at the door to help the group. You can enter according to the group ticket, and the price will be higher than the ordinary price. There are 3 performances in Splendid China. The "Golden Sword Dynasty" around 3 o'clock is very participatory, and the remaining performances are more like fashion shows and acrobatics, which are not particularly exciting. Therefore, the "Splendid China" which opens at 6 o'clock is generally enjoyable to watch. There are also some regular folk projects. If you like taking pictures, you can visit Splendid Garden more.
As for the China Garden, I feel it is just average. All of it are miniature models. The night view is nice to see, but the real scene is not as good as the "Beijing World Park".
It's very good. There are the Great Wall, Terracotta Warriors, Mogao Grottoes, Huangguoshu Waterfall and so many other places. We played there until dark.
It's not worth the price at all. The view is ok but it should be a free park. There's nothing to eat and there's a food court... The things are expensive and the experience is not good. I don't recommend you to spend money to come to this place
It is really a folk culture industry. It reminds me of the scene of being at home with water. The scenery is beautiful and the air is fresh and comfortable. It requires tickets, but it is definitely good to go there occasionally.
I went there several years ago. It was a smaller version of famous scenic spots all over the country, with many performances in between.
All the famous domestic attractions are here, but they are miniature attractions. Haha, you can travel around the whole country in one day, and you can still take a look at the places you haven’t been to!
Splendid China and Folk Village merged into one scenic spot, similar to Window of the World
It is mainly a variety of miniature landscapes, but the difference is that Splendid China is a domestic landscape.
And the proportion is a little smaller than Window of the World, more mini
It's no problem to walk around and take photos in it for a day.
There are three relatively large performances in it, all of which are quite good.
Plan your time well and don't miss it
The Fengyu Bridge and the Drum Tower are very beautiful at night. You can go and take a look and take some photos.
There is nothing else to note.
Shenzhen's landmark attraction! A miniature landscape of China's famous attractions, one of the earliest attractions in Shenzhen!
The miniature landscape + folk village is so big that you can take a quick look in a car. It would be very tiring to walk by yourself.
It feels similar to Window of the World, the difference is that the landscapes here are all domestic. You can come and experience it.
It gathers important domestic scenic spots in one park, which is equivalent to looking at pictures. The scenic spots in the condensed film are too different from the real ones. The real ones are better.
Splendid China is the earliest cultural theme park in China, located on the beautiful Shenzhen Bay. It is the world's largest and most content-rich real-life miniature scenic spot, covering an area of 450 acres, divided into two parts: the main area and the comprehensive service area. "One step into history, one day to travel around China" is the slogan of the scenic spot. The 82 scenic spots in the park are distributed according to the location of China's territory, and most of them are reproduced at 1:15. Among them, there are more than 50,000 lifelike pottery figures and animals dotted in various scenic spots, vividly reproducing my country's history, culture and folk customs.
Splendid China and China Folk Culture Village are two major scenic spots under the Shenzhen Splendid China Development Co., Ltd. In order to facilitate tourists' visits and management, the two parks have been merged into one, and only one ticket is required to visit both parks.
It's a different feeling coming here at night. The lights are bright and the reflections in the water are beautiful. However, the miniature scenic area is not open. Haha. It's mainly the Water Splashing Festival. A group of people are splashed with water in the square. It's so joyful.
I went there a long time ago, and I dare not post the photos because they are too ugly. At that time, Splendid China was divided into two parts. One part was models of famous landscapes from all over China, as shown in the picture below (some were very, very small), and the other part was folk villages from all over the world... well, nothing special.
I went to a night club and entered at around 5 o'clock. The micro landscapes of the main characteristics of each region are not suitable for friends who have traveled to various places, but it is more suitable for others to see, especially the elderly...
There was a water splashing festival recently which was quite fun and the kids loved it. In addition, there were several performances to watch. We only watched one and it was pretty good. You don't need to buy a separate ticket, you can "exchange" the ticket at the gate. Go early to line up because there are a lot of people.
There are many places to eat, including snacks, cafes, buffets, and specialty restaurants, and the prices are not very expensive.
I went there with a special ticket, and there are quite a lot of miniature attractions in China.
If the Window of the World is a concentration of the world, then Splendid China is a concentration of the excellent architecture of all ethnic groups in China. The greening of the entire park is very good. All the miniature landscapes are well made, the details are also very good, lifelike, and the best photo spots are set up for you. There are also many souvenir shops and places to sell food.
Not bad, you can go and have a look, but the ticket is a bit expensive
I went on a school spring outing! There were at least two elementary schools and two kindergartens (I wonder if the babies could understand!) on the same day as us.
Generally speaking, it is OK. There are many small houses with ethnic characteristics: Yao, Dai, etc.
There is also an area dedicated to miniature landscapes, which look like classic doll houses, surprisingly exquisite, but there was dog poop on the grass of the miniature landscapes! There was more than one! They were all dry! I almost stepped on it! Needs improvement! There are also a lot of green plants!
There is a small shop in the middle of the commercial area that looks like a Chinese medicine store (see Figure 10). They sell sour plum juice. I was thirsty so I bought three cups in a row. They cost 8$ each. They were very thirst-quenching and delicious! The brother was also very nice. One of my classmates forgot to take his wallet. The brother put it away and gave us some advice when he went back to find it!
My mother brought me to the Splendid China Folk Village, where I saw the appearances, costumes, customs, and singing and dancing performances of many ethnic minorities. It is a good enlightenment course for children.
I am increasingly realizing the true meaning of the saying "our great China is vast and rich in resources". The world is big, and China is not small either.
Shenzhen's miniature China idea is very clever [strong] It would be even better if it was equipped with an electronic guide! The guides for many attractions in the park are not easy to use, and it is impossible to stand in front of the audio system of the attractions under the scorching sun to listen to the introduction of the attractions!
There are many attractions. Compared with the classic ones I have visited, they are definitely not as spectacular as the real ones because they are miniature versions, but they are still very good for understanding China. In fact, although they are shrunk, the Old Summer Palace, the Temple of Heaven and the Forbidden City in Beijing are really huge...
It seems that there are still many, many, many places to go.
To be honest, among all the theme scenic spots in Shenzhen, I like this one the most. I have been there several times, but I don’t feel tired of it at all. Isn’t it terrible? Haha, you must go to see those performances, such as the Golden Dynasty and some ethnic cultural performances. There will be a schedule of performances on the map or some signboards. Fengyu Bridge Dong Drum Tower is very similar. I like the scenery of this area the most. The Dai people can play water splashing there. By the way, you must go to see the performance of Oriental Colorful Clothes. If it is not a holiday, you can directly exchange the ticket for the admission ticket. If it happens to be a holiday, you have to spend money to buy the admission ticket. It seems to be 25 yuan. After this performance, there will be performances in Phoenix Plaza. They really perform with their heart and will not perfunctory the audience at all. Every time I go there, I feel like I am free. I can stroll from morning to night.
I went to the night show in 2014, and the ticket was 39 yuan on Meituan. I looked around the houses of various ethnic groups, and then bought a ticket to watch a song and dance performance, which cost 30 yuan. The lighting and stage were good. Then I watched the float parade, and there is also a water splashing festival in summer. It is a good place for family outings.
If you want to watch the show, it's best to go early to exchange your tickets, otherwise you'll just have to watch it.
It is the first large-scale cultural tourist area in China that brings together folk art, folk customs and residential architecture of various ethnic groups. There are 25 villages with typical styles of 22 ethnic groups. Most of them are built in a 1:15 ratio, giving people an immersive feeling. Ticket price: 180 yuan
Corresponding to the Window of the World, this place mainly concentrates the beautiful mountains and rivers of China. It is divided into natural landscape area and folk custom area. The natural landscape area is mainly built by scaling down the most representative scenic spots in each province, that is, pocket-sized scenic spots. The larger and more distinctive ones include the Great Wall, the panoramic view of the Old Summer Palace, the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, and the Forbidden City. The folk custom village is built according to the local customs and habits of each ethnic minority, with characteristic houses and regular folk performances.
The scenic area is quite large, and you can basically finish it in one day. Overall, it is not as cost-effective as Window of the World, but it is still good to see the famous miniatures of various places~
Splendid China Folk Village consists of two parts: Splendid China and China Folk Village. The former has miniatures of many famous Chinese landscapes, allowing you to "travel around China in one day". The latter has 24 village buildings where you can experience folk customs and watch folk performances of 56 ethnic groups. The two parks have been merged, and you can buy one ticket. It is generally recommended to visit Splendid China in the morning and Folk Village in the afternoon, because the large-scale performances in Folk Village are all in the afternoon. You can walk or take the subway from Window of the World to Splendid China Folk Village, which is only one stop away. We had breakfast in the subway, so we took the subway by the way. Tickets are 168 yuan/adult and 90 yuan/child.
Small version of Chinese characteristic architecture and folk architecture
This place is very nice, especially the various folk song and dance performances, there are many beautiful women, it is a must-see when you come to Shenzhen.
The China Folk Culture Village covers an area of more than 200,000 square meters. It is the first large-scale cultural tourist attraction in China that brings together folk art, folk customs and residential architecture of various ethnic groups. It contains 25 villages of 22 ethnic groups, all built in a 1:1 ratio. Through ethnic performances, folk handicrafts exhibitions, and regular large-scale folk festivals such as the Chinese National Temple Fair, Water Splashing Festival, Torch Festival, Xishuangbanna Customs Month, Inner Mongolia Customs Week, etc., the original and colorful folk customs and folk culture of various ethnic groups in my country are displayed from multiple angles and aspects, allowing tourists to fully experience the soul and charm of the Chinese nation.
Not bad, it's worth a visit if you have time.
Shenzhen Splendid China Folk Village is characterized by 82 Chinese miniature landscapes distributed according to the map of China, allowing you to "travel around China in one day" and have a global concept of the distribution of famous domestic attractions. You may want to follow the map to have an idea in your mind, and find opportunities to visit them one by one in the future. It can't really let you travel around China, but it may inspire you to go out for a walk. If you have time and money in Shenzhen, you might as well take a walk. The overall feeling is that it is a one-time attraction, which means you can go there once, but it is not worth going there again. Especially considering that the ticket price is not cheap. I think the miniature landscape area is the most valuable to visit, followed by the scheduled large-scale performances. The characteristics of the folk village are not obvious, so it should be ranked last. Just take a walk and take a look when you have time.
Really average, the ticket price is similar to Window of the World, but the cost performance is much lower. Too many landscapes are miniature, such as the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, the buildings are pitifully small, the Terracotta Warriors are just three or five hollow human figures, and the key is that they are half, only the front but no back, almost like a mask... Tencent was holding an event in the park on the day I went there, and there were so many people. Quite disappointed.
Shenzhen's earliest theme parks showcase the unique culture of the Chinese nation. Splendid China and Folk Village were previously separate businesses, but now they have been merged into one with a unified ticket price of 180 yuan. Transportation: Take Line 1, exit D at OCT Station, and walk 300 meters along the signs to the ticket office.
I went directly to the scenic spot and bought the ticket for 180 yuan per person.
Because we were traveling with our kids, we chose the laziest way, which was to take a small train (sightseeing bus) for a tour to get a general understanding of the original situation!
Then I found that the scenery near the entrance was good, especially in the folk village! There will be many performances after 2 pm.
I think the buildings are pretty good, and they are quite detailed, so they are very suitable for taking pictures. If you have time, you can go through them one by one, which is great. My baby is too small, and fell asleep after playing in two or three places after making the train. I couldn't stand the hot weather, so I'm glad I chose to take the train, it was worth it. I also took some satisfactory photos of the babies, and I was very happy (although not many 😂)
The "Splendid China" theme park displays China's famous mountains, rivers and cultural relics in the form of miniature models. It is the first truly large theme park in my country. The ratio of the miniature scenic spots of Splendid China's historical sites and natural landscapes to the real scene is mostly 1:15. The attractions of "Splendid China" are arranged according to their locations on the map of China. The attractions of the whole park are scientifically arranged according to the map of the motherland. When tourists visit "Splendid China", they feel like walking on a huge map of China.
The Splendid China Folk Village opens at 9:30. We took a tour bus to visit the attractions first, and then went to the attractions we wanted to visit to save time. We left the attractions at 3 pm and started our return trip.
The two scenic spots of Splendid China and Folk Village were merged into one, covering a very large area. On the one hand, we were too late to enter the park, and on the other hand, Da Tongtong and I were only interested in the culture rooted in the local area, so we happily decided to take a small train to watch it from the sky. At Splendid China Station, you can buy a ticket to take the [Happy Main Line]. The attractions along the line include Window of the World, Happy Valley, OCT, Folk Village, Splendid China, etc. There is a station at each scenic spot where passengers can get on and off. It is recommended that you sit in the two front seats of the small train. There is a huge space, you can stretch your legs freely, and the field of vision is also wider.
The Splendid Chinese National Village is much bigger than the Window of the World. I walked for 4-6 hours. I would have rented a sightseeing car if I had known earlier. I was so tired. >﹏< There are about 100 scenic spots in total. In addition to the stage, carriages, trains, etc., other scenic spots built in the grass are miniature. There are historical terracotta warriors, Ming Tombs, Qing Dynasty buildings, Buddha statues, temples, pagodas, Xiangfei Tomb, Zhaojun Tomb, Genghis Khan Mausoleum, ethnic minority villages, etc. Seeing these, I want to visit the real historical and cultural heritage if I have the chance! ! ! Come on, work hard to make money...
The Splendid Chinese National Village is a scenic spot that focuses on promoting traditional Chinese culture and showing the customs and people of various Chinese ethnic groups. As one of the representatives of Shenzhen theme parks, it attracts many tourists. At the same time, it launches corresponding entertainment activities during every festival, which is very good.
The ancient Chinese religious buildings, temples, and customs of the north and south have been reduced. The ticket price here during the day is 180, and the online group purchase price is 165. There is only the Water Splashing Festival event at night, and the ticket price is 45. It is more suitable for children. Here we watched a performance of "Dragon and Phoenix Dance in China", which was quite good.
The Folk Village is an interesting place in Shenzhen. The performances inside are very interesting. You must watch the afternoon and evening performances. It is very good. Before going, I suggest you bring some food and drinks in advance, because the things inside are quite expensive.
My parents went there 13 years ago~it's really worth a visit!
Classic attractions, unique traditions, and cultural heritage.
I went there with my dad. It's very big, but there are too many students.
It is quite big. If you go there, it is cheaper to buy tickets from a travel agency online. You need to book one day in advance. Like Window of the World, there are many small attractions inside, as well as some special ethnic performances. It is worth a visit~
I wanted to participate in the Water Splashing Festival, so there were so many people. I saw the scenery and the performances, but I didn't feel amazing.
The ticket is 180, which I personally think is a bit expensive. The scenic area is relatively large. I arrived at 10 am and returned at 5 pm. The food inside is relatively expensive, so it is recommended to bring food in from outside. The main purpose of entering is to watch the performance in the folk village in the afternoon.
Well, everyone has their own taste. As for the Folk Village, I didn't find it strange because I've been to the Ethnic Village in Yunnan. It was late, so I didn't take a closer look. Splendid China... It's hard to rate. Some attractions are still great after being reduced to models, with different visual effects, such as some terrains, buildings. But some are not so good, such as some Jiangnan gardens, which still need to be experienced in person; the same is true for the Leshan Giant Buddha and the Grottoes, which can only be felt when you are there. There are some programs in it, depending on your preferences, some are good and some are bad, I think the price is worth it. If you want to watch it, do your homework first, the performance time of each point is different.
The performances in this place are too perfect. The Jin Ge Dynasty horse riding is worth watching, and the ethnic performances are too beautiful.
I personally think it's pretty good. The scenic area is divided into two parts. One part is the famous scenic spots across China, and the other part is the customs and practices of various ethnic groups in China. Visiting one scenic spot feels like visiting all the scenic spots in different places, haha
Splendid China Folk Village, wonderful performances, three must-see performances, "Golden Dynasty" and "Oriental Colorful Clothes"
"Dragon and Phoenix Dance in China".
This is the most interesting attraction in Shenzhen city. It's not bad inside. When you go in, you should take pictures of the performances of various ethnic groups to watch together with the tour. I only watched the three major performances, the Nishang one, which was very good. The 30 ticket price is worth it.
Splendid China Folk Culture Village is divided into two parts, one is fifty-six
The customs of the nation are partly the epitome of some scenic spots and historical sites.

It takes a whole day, so it is recommended to check the performance schedule before entering the park.
