One of the four major Foshans in Guangdong, it is a bit far from the city, but it is still worth a visit.
This is mainly the temple of Nanhai Guanyin, the big Guanyin statue is quite nice. The other scenery is average.
The mountain is not big, and the scenic spots are a bit scattered. You can take a sightseeing bus at the entrance of the scenic area, which is enough for one day.
It is worth a visit. Guanyin is very majestic, Cuiyan has the atmosphere of ancient literati, and the bright peach blossoms and camellias all over the mountain in winter and spring are very eye-catching. It is worthy of being one of the four famous mountains in Guangdong.
Xiqiao Mountain Scenic Area is located in Nanhai District, Foshan City, and is one of the two famous mountains in Guangdong.
Xiqiao Mountain Scenic Area is very large and it is quite tiring to walk for a day. In addition, the signboards in the scenic area are not very clear. It is recommended not to walk the south route, but to enter from the north gate, walk to Jade Cave, Cuiyan, Shiyan Rock, Taohuayuan, and then go in from the back door of Baofeng Temple to see Nanhai Guanyin, then walk to Tianhu Lake, and finally walk to Baiyun Cave and exit from the west gate. This is the most time-saving way.
Don't travel during holidays. There are traffic jams all the way. Xiqiao Mountain is very big. It is recommended to drive up the mountain. We only went to Nanhai Guanyin and didn't go to other places. Each scenic spot is too far away. P.S. What surprised me was that there are many villages on the mountain. Picture 1 is a village in the mountain
The tickets are not expensive, the mountain is not high, and the staff are very considerate to greet tourists at the door on New Year's Day.
You must visit this mountain when you come to Foshan. If you don’t visit this mountain, your trip to Foshan will be in vain.
undeserved reputation
Guangdong's four famous mountains are not worth it.
A national 5A scenic spot is not worth it.
The mountain is huge and there is almost nothing to see. I don't recommend going there.
I went there to see all four famous mountains in Guangdong.
The scenery is average, the supporting services are OK, there are too many such hotels in the mountains.
Maybe I don't know enough about it, anyway, the overall feeling is very average, except for the Nanhai Guanyin statue, there is no highlight. The things in the scenic area are expensive, but the small attractions are so far away and the transportation is inconvenient. It's impossible to walk all the way in one day, and the signboards are randomly pointing, so you have to go around in circles for fear of traffic jams. The so-called story of the scenic spot seems to have been heard in other scenic spots. 5A scenic spot, really disappointed.
I drove there specially from Shenzhen. The ticket was 40 yuan and the electric car was 20 yuan. To be honest, there was nothing special about it. I just went there to climb mountains. There are plenty of such attractions in Shenzhen and they are all free.
Nanhai Guanyin is very magnificent! A reminder: After entering from the entrance of Baiyun Cave in Xiqiao Mountain, on the way to the sightseeing bus, there will be a male driver who will try his best to persuade tourists to take his car (15 yuan/person) and take you to the north gate entrance of Xiqiao Mountain to take the sightseeing bus directly to Nanhai Guanyin. The reason is that even after taking the cable car, you still have to walk a long way to Nanshan Guanyin. But it is recommended that you do not take his car, because from Baiyun Cave to the north gate, you can catch a bus for 2 yuan/person, and take a taxi for more than 10 yuan!!!
The only 5A scenic spot in Foshan, there is no scenery. The only attraction is the Big Buddha. It is not recommended to visit.
Tickets cost 70. I worked hard to climb the mountain just to take a picture of the Guanyin statue. There are cars in the scenic area, but they cost money. It's better to climb the mountain for exercise. Haha.
5A-level scenic spot, there is also Huang Feihong lion dance performance. Full ticket: 70 yuan
I don't recommend coming here at all. The scenery is average and there's nothing to see. It's all about making money. It's too commercialized. Cars can drive up there so people have nowhere to go. The air is not very good either. It's the worst 5A-level attraction in China.
Natural scenery, natural oxygen bar, the Guanyin of the South China Sea is magnificent, and you can worship the Buddha with sincerity.
Xiqiao Mountain is very large. It takes at least one day to visit all the scenic spots. You can only drive up the mountain from the south gate. There are parking lots at each scenic spot in the scenic area. You must wear cloth shoes. I saw some people wearing leather shoes or even high heels going up the mountain, and they were limping when they came down the mountain.
Xiqiao Mountain is too big. I only visited a part of the scenic area at that time. There are many scenic areas here. It is impossible to visit them all in one day by electric car. I can only visit them in a hurry. It is recommended to stay on the mountain for 2 nights and walk to several scenic areas every day. The most worthwhile place to visit in Xiqiao Mountain is Nanhai Guanyin. When you walk into the lotus seat where Nanhai Guanyin sits, you will see different Guanyin statues that are rare and unforgettable.
It's pretty good. It's only accessible by bus from Guangzhou. The ticket is 70 yuan. The scenery is nice. The Nanhai Guanyin incense is very popular.
We went to the Nanhai Museum, and the tickets were free. The air conditioning was amazing 😂, and then we went to the Xiqiaoshan Cinema, where many people were taking wedding photos, and we also met the crew. It was really a good place to take photos. Any background can be taken well
It is best to drive to the halfway point of the mountain and climb up to experience the scenery of Xiqiao Mountain.
This scenic spot is very scattered, it's exhausting
Xiqiao Mountain: Xiqiao Mountain Scenic Area is one of the four famous mountains in Guangdong. It enjoys the status of a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction, a Chinese National Forest Park, a Chinese National Geopark, and a national key scenic spot.
Xiqiao Mountain is a dormant volcano with a history of 450 million years. It is the largest stone tool manufacturing site in South my country during the prehistoric period. It has formed a unique "Xiqiao Mountain Culture" and pioneered the Pearl River Civilization. It is listed as one of the two major stone tool manufacturing sites in the north and south of my country during the Neolithic Age, along with Emaokou in Huairen, Shanxi.
Tickets: 70 yuan (50% off for students, 20% off on holidays). Tour bus 20 yuan (ride as many times as you want within one day)
Recommended tour time: 4-5 hours (by bus) 7-8 hours (on foot)
Transportation: It takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to get there by bus from the city center. If you are short on time, it is best to stay overnight near Xiqiao Mountain.
Personal thoughts: Xiqiao Mountain is the most scattered and chaotic place among the four mountains I climbed. If you want to visit it in four or five hours and don't want to rush through it, it is best to buy a sightseeing bus ticket. Except for holidays, there may be other policies. Generally, the sightseeing bus can stop at most of the scenic spots in the mountain during normal hours. It can save a lot of time to walk to the scenic spots.
I went to Xiqiao Mountain on March 11th. It happened to be the return of the south wind that day. The whole mountain was shrouded in clouds and mist, like a fairy mountain. The clouds and mist obscured its magnificence, but brought it mystery.
Xiqiao Mountain is worth a whole day of hiking and sightseeing. It was the Spring Festival, and many people came to burn incense and pray. The prayer trees were full of incense. I thought the gods were under a lot of pressure, and there were so many wishes that needed help to realize! Nanhai Guanyin is said to be the tallest sitting Guanyin statue in the world. Looking up at the gods, and by the way, standing from the perspective of the gods and overlooking the world, hahaha! Then I climbed up and down everywhere. Time was tight, so I hurried to Tianhu Scenic Area and Baiyun Cave. I like Baiyun Cave. The scenery is condensed, small and exquisite. You can sit and watch the scenery and drink a cup of tea. PS After going down the mountain, I bought a lot of Xiqiao Mountain pancakes, which tasted very special!
Different seasons have different scenery. The traffic organization and scenic area management are good and worth a visit. The ticket is a little expensive. The park area is relatively large, so you should arrive as early as possible and enjoy the park with confidence. If you choose to walk up the mountain, you will need more physical strength and time. Planning early can make the park more enjoyable.
Xiqiao Mountain - one of the four famous mountains in Guangdong. Due to poor time management, this trip was too rushed and we were not able to complete the entire Xiqiao Mountain tour. We focused on visiting the Nanhai Guanyin. It is recommended to spend one day to visit and play.
Xiqiao Mountain is a 450 million-year-old extinct volcano. It is also one of the national Taoist centers. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, Buddhism and Taoism coexisted. The most distinctive feature here is a 61.9-meter-high Guanyin statue. Many people come here to burn incense and worship Guanyin. The Guanyin statue is surrounded by a release pond. Many fish and turtles are released here by believers. There are also 30 large bells that can be struck three times. Overall, the mountain is not too high. There is no need to take the tourist bus at the mountain archway. If you are fast, you can reach the top in about an hour. The scenery is still very good, and you can overlook the Foshan city below!
Although Xiqiao Mountain is not high, it covers a large area and it is difficult to visit all of it in one day. If you want to visit all the main scenic spots, you usually need to prepare two days.
The best plan is: arrive at the hotel in Xiqiao Town on the first night, climb the mountain early in the morning on the second day, and stay in Yuntao Villa in Biyun Village that night (said to be the only formal hotel on the mountain); continue the rest of the itinerary on the third day.
The second best option is to rush to Xiqiao Mountain from all over the place early in the morning on the first day, get up the mountain as early as possible, and stay at Yuntao Villa in Biyun Village that night; and continue the rest of the journey on the second day.
If you only stay in Xiqiao Town at the foot of the mountain: Arrive at the hotel in Xiqiao Town on the first night, climb the mountain early in the morning on the second day, go down the mountain before closing in the afternoon, stay in the hotel in Xiqiao Town or return directly. Another option is not to stay in Xiqiao at all, rush to Xiqiao Mountain from all over the country early in the morning, climb the mountain as early as possible, go down the mountain before closing in the afternoon, and return.
The above two options can only allow you to visit about half of Xiqiao Mountain, or at most two-thirds, but not the entire mountain.
Personally, there are many motorcycles soliciting passengers at the north gate of Xiqiao Mountain. They are very enthusiastic. Don't pay attention to them. They will say it's too far to go up, and take you to take the cable car from the north gate to the west gate. Not only that, they will take you to buy incense (very expensive, they say they don't sell it inside, but it's actually sold in Guanyin Temple), and then take you to a place called the old temple, worship a so-called Guanyin statue and the God of Wealth, and then collect money for merit. I found out everything later, and I can only blame it on the unfamiliarity of the place. These people actually used gods to deceive people, so shameless! So wicked! Curse them to a bad death💀
Xiqiao Mountain is divided into the South Gate and the North Gate. The South Gate is for self-driving tours up the mountain, and the North Gate is the mass route for mountain climbing. First of all, if you want to climb the mountain, it takes a whole day. Of course, if you take a battery car, it will save time and effort, but since we came to climb the mountain, we didn't take it. We started climbing at 11 o'clock and went down the mountain at 6 pm. We only saw 70% or 80% of the attractions. The Jade Cave was under maintenance and I didn't see it. The Cuiyan didn't have any special features, just a feeling of better greening. The square bamboo is indeed square and round, and you have to touch it to feel it. The Camellia Garden and the Peach Garden came at the wrong time, otherwise the flowers would be very beautiful. Nanhai Guanyin is worth seeing. Even if you don't burn incense and worship Buddha, it is the place where you can see the most tourists. There are only three or five people in other attractions. It was not bad when we arrived at Tianhu Lake. It's just that there are too few signs along the way, it's too easy to get lost, and the attractions are too scattered. It took a lot of time to walk the same way. The 70 yuan ticket is not much cheaper even if you buy it online, so it's not worth it. There are not many places to eat. It was already 2 o'clock when we arrived at the vegetarian restaurant in Guanyin. There was nothing to eat, so we had to fill our stomachs first when we climbed the mountain and passed by the small restaurants in the villages. Otherwise, it would be bad if we didn't find food until 3 o'clock like we did. The tofu pudding was very smooth, although not sweet enough. In general, it was so-so. It is recommended to go there in the blooming season, especially when there are many camellia trees. It must be beautiful when they are in full bloom!
Xiqiao Mountain is located in Nanhai District, Foshan. If you just want to feel the breath of nature, Xiqiao Mountain would be a recommended place. The ticket to Xiqiao Mountain is 70, and students can enjoy a half-price discount with a student ID. Xiqiao Mountain is quite large. If you walk slowly, you can walk for a whole day. The air on the mountain is very good, there are many plants, and the natural scenery is very good. If you go to Xiqiao Mountain, it is recommended to bring food and drinks. After all, it is a natural scenic area, and it is not common to sell food. If you want to fully visit Xiqiao Mountain, it will take most of the day. At this time, it is necessary to prepare some food. Xiqiao Mountain has a great scenery, that is, Nanhai Guanyin. If you want to see Nanhai Guanyin, you need to go up the mountain to see it. There is an artificial lake on the mountain, and there are many goldfish in the lake. There is a Buddhist temple on the mountain. There is a release pond near the Buddhist temple. There are many turtles in the pond, and there are many coins, all of which are put in by devout people. If you go down the mountain, it is recommended to ask the staff which road would be better. When we went down the mountain, we took the wrong road, walked for a long time, and the road was not easy to walk.
Xiqiao Mountain is about cultural heritage and incense tradition. The forest on the mountain is lush and green, and the old buildings are well maintained. It feels great to climb the mountain.
There are many attractions, and it is recommended to spend more than half a day to visit them, otherwise you will not be able to visit them all.
Bring more fruits, food, mineral water and sports drinks to replenish energy at any time.
We didn't see the Huang Feihong lion dance this time, which was a pity. We will come back next time and spend a day to visit.
Xiqiao Mountain Scenic Area is one of the four famous mountains in Guangdong. It is a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction, a Chinese national forest park, a Chinese national geological park, a national key scenic spot, and a "lighthouse of the Pearl River civilization"[1]. Xiqiao Mountain is located in the southwest of Nanhai District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province, China, between Guangzhou, Foshan, Shunde, Jiangmen, and Gaoming. It is only 45 kilometers north of Guangzhou City and 27 kilometers from Foshan.
Xiqiao Mountain is a dead volcano with a history of 450 million years, with a diameter of 4 kilometers, an area of 14 square kilometers, an altitude of 346 meters, and the main peak Dake Peak is 344 meters above sea level. Xiqiao Mountain is rich in scenic resources, with 72 peaks, 36 caves, 232 springs, 28 waterfalls, 10 scenic spots (Baiyun Cave Scenic Spot, Huang Feihong Lion Art and Martial Arts Hall, Nanhai Guanyin\Baofeng Temple Scenic Spot, Jade Cave Scenic Spot, Tianhu Scenic Spot, Jiulongyan Scenic Spot, Cuiyan Scenic Spot, Shiyanyan Scenic Spot, Taohuayuan Scenic Spot, etc.), East and West Tianhu, and many scenic spots and historical sites, lakes, springs, streams, rocks, walls, pools, and platforms dotted in between.
A place where I come to pray every year for safety and health!
The most beautiful Xiqiao Mountain, I love the Nanhai Guanyin!!!
Wait until the peach and camellia flowers bloom to see it, it's beautiful, the mountains are full of flowers
Xiqiao Mountain is very large, the scenic spots are scattered, and the signs are not very clear. We followed the crowd for a while and arrived at the first scenic spot, Jade Cave. At first glance, it was just an artificial garden. Although it was beautiful, there were too many people and it was impossible to take pictures.
My impression of Xiqiao Mountain is that it is very big, with many scenic spots. When you go up, there are some sightseeing buses at the door that you can take, but they cost money. Personally, I suggest taking the bus first, and then walking to each scenic spot, because it is really big. If you use up your energy at the beginning, you will have wasted the 70 yuan ticket. Of course, students can get half-price tickets!
Nanhai Guanyin is in Xiqiao Mountain. The ticket to Xiqiao Mountain costs more than 70 yuan, and students can get half the price. The transportation is also very convenient. There are buses that can go directly to the door. It is super big inside. Remember to take a tourist guide when buying tickets, plan which attractions to go to, and then choose a partner with a good sense of direction. Although it is big and there are many attractions, there are only a few worth seeing. First of all, you must see "Nanhai Guanyin". As for the others, they look good and are casual. There are also some flowers, plants and trees that I have never heard of before. There are a lot of them, which is a great experience!
I think the main purpose of going to Xiqiao Mountain is to worship Guanyin and eat vegetarian food. The mountain water tofu pudding is all imported from outside. I didn't see any hand-ground tofu pudding (that is, bean curd pudding) on the day I went there. Oh, to worship Guanyin, take the small path, that is, the mountain road will pass through some villages. The vegetables in the restaurants inside are all grown by themselves, which is more natural.
Xiqiao Mountain is a dead volcano with a history of 450 million years, with a diameter of 4 kilometers, an area of 14 square kilometers, an altitude of 346 meters, and the main peak Dake Peak is 344 meters above sea level. There are many incense sticks, and it is difficult to feel the tranquility and peace of the mountain. The natural atmosphere is also reduced.
Although there are not many places worth recommending in Xiqiao Mountain, the scenic area covers a large area and the scenic spots are far apart, so driving up the mountain is the right choice. The first stop after going up the mountain is the square bamboo. The bamboo in the garden has a square touch when you hold it in your hand. Legend has it that a man and a woman were truly in love, and then the woman was forced to marry a bully. The woman died to show her determination. The man was heartbroken and cried every day holding the bamboo. Over time, the bamboo was held into a square shape.
Actually, this is a sad story, but after hearing too many similar stories in various scenic spots, I always feel that the storytellers are not sincere, so we who listen to the stories can only listen to them. Moreover, the beginning and process of all these stories are almost exactly the same, and the character settings basically cannot escape the iron triangle of infatuated men and women, cruel parents and landlords. It’s just that the ending of the story depends on the actual needs of each scenic spot, and the male and female protagonists will turn into butterflies, jump into the sea, become fossils, or cry heartbrokenly while holding a bamboo.
The Xiqiao Mountain Eco-friendly Sightseeing Bus is an open design with small wheels, a low center of gravity and a slow speed. It generally runs at a speed of 20 to 30 kilometers per hour and can carry 17 people. It not only allows you to reach major scenic spots safely and comfortably, but also allows you to enjoy the scenery along the way, bathe in the mountain breeze and appreciate the ecological landscape of Xiqiao Mountain, which is "secluded mountains, green forests, clear air and beautiful scenery", giving you a pleasant travel experience.
A local 5A scenic spot, which is not worthy of its name. There is a large Guanyin statue. You can stop by to see it when you pass by. It takes about 5 hours to hike back and forth. The signposts to the scenic area are not clear, so we took a detour.
The foundation stone of Nanhai Guanyin of Xiqiao Mountain was laid on June 19, 1995, and it took three years to build. It was consecrated and opened to the public on February 19, 1998. The statue of the Bodhisattva, made of copper, sits on the top of Daxian Peak at an altitude of 292 meters. The statue is 61.9 meters high and is the tallest sitting statue of Guanyin in the world.
Xiqiao Mountain in Foshan is one of the four famous mountains in Guangdong! It is worth a visit! Climb up and worship Buddha. I just heard that couples should not go to Xiqiao Mountain or they will break up. Is it true? It depends on your opinion.
Xiqiao Mountain is located in Xiqiao Town, Foshan City, Guangdong Province. Ticket price: 70 yuan, student ticket 35 yuan. Places worth seeing: Nanhai Guanyin Statue, Baofeng Temple, Tianhu Park, Huang Feihong Lion Dance Art Museum. Total tour time: 4-5 hours.
Xiqiao Mountain! Beautiful! Really beautiful. Foshan residents only need to pay 10 RMB for a ticket. There aren't many people inside, only grandparents doing morning exercises. A few steps from the west gate, there's a cable car for 30 RMB round trip. Because there aren't many people, my dad and I took the entire cable car. When we passed the hills, some tourists greeted us.
Tianhu Park is just down the cable car. It is quiet and the reflections of the trees can be clearly seen on the lake.
We took a shortcut to Daguanyin, the most lively place in Xiqiao Mountain. There were people worshipping the gods devoutly, and most of them were primary school students on a spring outing. On the steps, there was a place where you could throw coins into a big cauldron to make a wish. I threw a silver coin in at once!
Walking in the opposite direction of Guanyin, there is a large new peach blossom forest! So big! So beautiful! Only in spring! Continue walking down and you will see the Leafless Spring, where you can wash your hands and feel cool.
When you walk out and toward the north gate, you will see the newly built watchtower, from which you can see the whole Xiqiao! We wanted to continue walking, but we were too tired to go back. There are still many attractions that we haven't visited yet. We will visit them again next time.
Xiqiao Mountain is located in Xiqiao Town, Nanhai District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province, with a total area of 14 square kilometers. It is one of the famous mountains in southern Guangdong. There are 72 peaks, 36 caves, 28 waterfalls and 207 springs. It is divided into ten scenic spots, namely, Qiaoshan Upper and Lower, Yunhai Lotus Terrace (Nanhai Guanyin Cultural Garden), Huang Daxian Holy Land Garden, Huang Feihong Lion Art and Martial Arts Hall, Baiyun Cave, Tianhu Park, Jasper Cave, Cuiyan, Shiyan Rock, Jiulong Rock, Sifang Bamboo Garden, etc. Xiqiao Mountain is an ancient extinct volcano, which was formed by multiple volcanic eruptions in the middle and late Cretaceous period 45-51 million years ago. The mountain is not high, with the main peak of 346 meters, and is famous for its quiet and beautiful scenery.
It is very beautiful to see peach blossoms in spring, and there are many scenic spots in Xiqiao Mountain, which are very affordable.
I took a bus from Huadu to Xiqiao New Bus Station, waited for half an hour and took Qiao 16 to the north gate. There was no cable car at the north gate, and during the Spring Festival, the electric car only went to Tianhu Lake, so I chose to walk. There was no separation between pedestrians and vehicles on the mountain road, and cars and electric cars whizzed by, which was too dangerous. The air was also polluted by car exhaust. The Jade Cave at the foot of the mountain was closed. After walking for more than half an hour, there was no scenic spot except the Hundred Steps, and the mountain view was not good. Because I was in a hurry to go back, I gave up halfway.
It's OK. I went there during the New Year. There were too many cars. There was basically no parking space at each scenic spot. The security guards urged us to move forward quickly. In the end, I only went to the Nanhai Guanyin and Peach Garden. I didn't even see the Square Bamboo and other caves.
It's worth a visit. The Nanhai Guanyin is very spectacular, but the ticket is a bit expensive.
It is a rare mountain in the city. It should be very sentimental to the locals. For those who like to get close to nature, it depends on the individual. There are too many artificial things... But if you want to date and relax, it is still worth a visit. However, the ticket is a bit expensive, 55 per person for outsiders.
There are many scenic spots in the scenic area, so it is best to take a map and choose a good route before starting the tour so that you will feel more fulfilled.
Xiqiao Mountain is quite big. You need to stay there for a whole day to see all the attractions. It seems that it costs 50 yuan per person for out-of-town tourists, and an additional 20 yuan per car if you drive.
Xiqiao Mountain Scenic Area Xiqiao Mountain has 72 peaks, the main peak is Dacheng Peak with an altitude of 346 meters. It has beautiful natural scenery and profound cultural heritage. It is known as "the lighthouse of Pearl River civilization" and "the famous mountain of science in South Guangdong". Xiqiao Mountain is now divided into 10 major scenic areas, namely Qiaoshan Upper and Lower, Yunhai Lotus Terrace (Nanhai Guanyin Cultural Garden), Huang Daxian Holy Land Garden, Huang Feihong Lion Art and Martial Arts Hall, Baiyun Cave, Tianhu Park, Jasper Cave, Cuiyan, Shiyan Rock, Jiulong Rock, Sifang Bamboo Garden, etc.
Xiqiao Mountain, one of the ten famous mountains in Guangdong, has a ticket price of 70 yuan, which is neither expensive nor cheap. There are beautiful scenery, especially the Guanyin statue, which is very magnificent and worth seeing.
It was my first time there. The environment was nice and the air was fresh. It was windy that day. I was tired from climbing and sat down to cool down. It was very comfortable. The tofu pudding inside was delicious.
A place with plenty of negative ions, suitable for people who like mountaineering, the environment is also beautiful and comfortable
Many people come here to see the Guanyin of the South China Sea because of its fame.
Nanhai Guanyin is located at the top of Xiqiao Mountain in Xiqiao Town, Nanhai District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province. It is a good choice to come here to climb the mountain, feel the beauty of nature, and pray for yourself, your family, and your friends.
The scenery really exceeded my expectations. It was very beautiful. I could feel the endless scenery on the top of the mountain. Here I felt the mentality of looking down on all the mountains.
There are many attractions in Xiqiao Mountain, such as Tianhu Park and Huang Feihong Memorial Hall.
Well worth a visit. Good fun.
Xiqiao Mountain, full ticket is 70, half ticket is 35. (The conditions of half ticket are similar across the country, so I won’t mention it here), locals can enter for free with valid ID. (PS: Here I would like to remind everyone that you must keep the tickets well, because there are many attractions inside, and almost every one of them requires ticket verification and valid ID verification, so don’t throw away the tickets you bought)
Xiqiao Mountain is a 5A tourist attraction, and the environment is really good. I was surprised that there were not too many convenience stores on the way up the mountain, which increased my favorability towards it. Because there are many convenience stores in other scenic spots, it is really noisy and the environment is poor. Walking quietly in the mountains, calming your heart, and pursuing another height.
Enter the gate and walk a little ahead to the Jade Cave scenic spot. But when I went there, it seemed to have collapsed some time ago, so it was forbidden to enter the cave.
Climbing halfway up the mountain, I took a break at the scenic pavilion and went to the bathroom to wash my face. Wow, the water was so refreshing. It was so nice.
Look at these crowded buildings. In this crowded world, try to find your true self in the mountains and feel the beauty of nature.
It is necessary to say here that Xiqiao Mountain is close to the center of Xiqiao Town and the pedestrian street. You can go shopping when you go down the mountain, which is nice.
The scenery is pleasant and the Guanyin is spectacular. Climbing the mountain will be a bit tiring, but it is still worth it.
When you walk into Xiqiao, you want to hear the bells and worship Buddha. You can't see the Buddha in your mind within your sight, but when you stand on a high place, you can see the largest Guanyin statue in Asia. Under the statue, the bells sound leisurely and the sandalwood smells. Your mind will be calm here.
Xiqiao Mountain is the only 5A-level tourist attraction in Foshan. It also has China's largest seated statue of Nanhai Guanyin, which is very spectacular and can be seen from airplanes.
There are many scenic spots in the scenic area, which probably cannot be visited in one day. The scenic spots include: Baiyun Cave, Tianhu Park, Peach Garden, Camellia Garden, Sifang Bamboo, Jiulong Rock, Shiyan Rock, Baofeng Temple, Nanhai Guanyin, Cuiyan, and Jasper Cave.
If you want to hike, please go to the mountain trail in the northeast and drive to the west gate to enter.
The full ticket price is 70 yuan. Children under 1.2 meters are free of charge, and those over 1.2 meters are half-price. Those holding ID cards from the five districts of Foshan can also enjoy half-price tickets, and temporary residence permits are also valid.
There is no entrance fee for hiking before 7am and after 17pm, but you cannot enter other scenic spots.
If you are hiking up the mountain, you can buy tickets directly at the mountaineering avenue, or you can order them on Tongcheng.com. The ticket price on Tongcheng.com is 56/adult from Monday to Friday, no children's ticket, and 63/adult on Saturday and Sunday. Please refer to the photos I posted for the hiking route.
Passengers who do not want to hike can buy sightseeing bus tickets at the entrance of the mountain road. The full ticket is 20 yuan, regardless of whether it is for adults or children. It is calculated by seat and can travel to and from various scenic spots. It is valid for the same day.
Before going to Nanhai Guanyin, we passed Baofeng Temple. Baofeng Temple is quite quiet. There are ceremonies on major festivals and lantern exhibitions every year. It is very beautiful at night. There is a vegetarian restaurant at Yunhai Liantai. The restaurant serves dishes. The price is moderate, with an average price of 30+ per dish, and the cheapest ones are 20+. In addition, there is vegetarian fast food next to the restaurant, Luohan vegetarian rice, 20 yuan per serving, and other vegetarian sausages, fried tofu, radish (I think it’s 5 yuan per bowl), vegetarian meatballs, and tofu pudding for 8 yuan a bowl, which are frozen. My daughter’s favorite is vegetarian sausage.
After you get out of Xiqiao Bus Station, you can only take a bus to this mountain. The motorcycles at the entrance are the most deceptive. Don't pay attention to them. They will take you to buy incense. The ticket price for this small mountain is even more expensive than the Forbidden City and the Great Wall. After buying the ticket, just walk all the way up, which takes about an hour. There are too many people and it's smoky. All the ghosts and monsters are fake. I really don't know what those who worship gods think.
How to say it! A girl went to climb a mountain, and she only walked on some uninhabited paths. Later, when I think back, I feel that I was very brave. If I met a ghost, it would be fine, but if I met a pervert, it would be terrible (so, girls who go to climb mountains should have a companion, especially those who like to walk on the side roads). Xiqiao Mountain, the ticket is 70 yuan. It doesn’t matter whether it is worth it, but whether I can have fun! The time to go is not right (I went in July), and the scenery I saw is not right. But...if possible, I would like to go again, in early spring, pick a day, make an appointment with a few like-minded people, go straight to the peach garden, carry a tent, bring a blanket, and smell the smell of the night in the mountains (if you have the same idea as me, you can add QQ1037526698, and make an appointment with me). Climb to the top, stand in front of the bronze statue of Guanyin, and think carefully. It seems...the compassion of my Buddha has nothing to do with me; the incense others ask for has nothing to do with me; I just go to climb mountains for climbing mountains. If I return to my disciples and don’t light incense, will the Buddha blame me for being rude? This question is not important… “Standing on the lotus platform of Buddha, looking through the red dust of the South Gate; listening to the blessing sutra of Baofeng nearby, watching the greed, ignorance and anger of the incense.” Staring (note: not looking down) at the struggling people in the red dust in the distance, the mood becomes unusual.
There are still two or three representative attractions in Xiqiao Mountain. For example, you can go directly to the Nanhai Guanyin Statue by buying a sightseeing bus ticket, then go to Cuiyan, and then go to Sifangzhu to see the lotus. The lotus in June and July is the most beautiful. Yanyan and Jiulongyan are just rocks and are not representative. Then go back to Baofeng Temple, and then go down to Biyun Cave near the north gate. If you want to take a cable car or something, of course this is not the route. It’s better to experience it yourself.
To put it simply, the Nanhai Guanyin Statue is the place where believers come to worship Guanyin. When there are many people, the incense is particularly strong and the smell of smoke is very strong!
It is very high and big. It is the most famous scenic spot in Xiqiao Mountain.
I've been there twice, climbing mountains and getting really tired!
It is recommended that you drive up the mountain if you have a car. There is a parking lot at each scenic spot! You have to wait for a long time at the scenic spot to take the sightseeing bus! Special reminder, there are a lot of mosquitoes... But the top of Guanyin Mountain is super cool...
The main reason was that we went there at a wrong time, in December, winter, it was rainy, and we didn't wear enough clothes. The whole scenic area had no special features except for the many trees. Of course, the Nanhai Guanyin statue was very imposing and solemn. The lion dance performance at the Feihong Martial Arts Hall was great. At least the mountain was too ordinary for us who were used to the majestic Shu Mountain.
