I went to Qi'ao Island on a good day with great expectations, but was disappointed. The mangroves are under maintenance and cannot be entered. It seems that it has been more than a year, and there is no notice when it will be reopened. The road is also being expanded or something, and it is not convenient to go to the lighthouse and the beach (you can still go, but you have to pass through a long section of road construction site). Only the former residence of Su Zhengzhao, the ancient fort, and Baishi Street are still worth visiting. The most speechless thing is that you have to walk to the entrance of the mangroves (it is nearly 2 kilometers from the ancient fort) to see a sign informing you that you cannot enter. Can't you put a notice at the bus terminal? Of course not. Bicycle rentals still have to do business, and they are still fooling tourists who don't know the truth to rent cars for travel...

Qisha Bay is just a small beach. Tourists left a lot of garbage on the beach after camping. The sand is rough and the scenery is not as good as Zhuhai Fisher Girl. The only thing you can take pictures of is the lighthouse.

The environment is bad, there is nothing to do, just like an ordinary town, there is no village in front and no shop behind, not to mention the beach, it is simply unbearable to look at, not recommended at all!!!

Zhuhai is known as the "City of Thousand Islands". Considering transportation, time and other factors, we chose Qi'ao Island, which is both attractive and original. We drove straight to the mangroves on the island, but a wall blocked our way. It turned out that it was still under construction. So we turned around and went to Baishi Street and the Fort. Sadly, we found that Baishi Street was a narrow alley of about 20 meters. Villagers in groups of three or two sold their own dried fish and dried lemons. The goods were genuine and the people were simple. The so-called Fort was also very simple. We bought seaweed, squid shreds and a few bananas and returned.

The commercial atmosphere of Qiaoao Island is not that strong, and there are not many tourists. You can take the bus and get off at Qiaoao North. If you are traveling with a group of people, you can rent a two- or four-person bicycle to ride around the island together, or you can rent a Hello Bike and visit all the attractions on the island.

The seaside scenery is nice, you can go and have a look, the local souvenirs are good

A good place to experience the leisurely life of the indigenous fishermen, suitable for leisure and relaxation. The beach is not big, close to the river estuary, and the sea water is not clear enough.

The transportation is quite convenient. You can reach the destination by bus. You can also ride a bicycle around the island. The island is very small, but the mangroves are under renovation and the project will be completed at the end of 2018. However, there is a lighthouse by the beach, which is nice for taking pictures. It is also nice to take pictures on the rocks. I didn’t see anyone taking wedding photos when I went there.

It’s not a very famous island in Zhuhai, but it’s not fully developed and has few people.

It's okay to go and have a look when you are in a good mood. The various dried fishes dried by the aborigines on the island are very good. If you like, you can buy some back. The road to the mangrove forest is still under construction, so there are fewer places to go.

The mangroves are completely closed and there is nothing to see. Parking is everywhere and each parking lot is fenced off. The management is chaotic and it is very dirty. I don't recommend coming. The mangroves are right in front of you, and no one will tell you that the forest is closed. It's all short-sighted behavior. I feel very bad.

Qi'ao Island is actually very close to Zhuhai, just across the bridge. It is suitable for a day trip. Come and feel the feeling of a fishing village and watch fish drying. The construction in the village is also good and has a bit of flavor, but don't expect too much from the seaside. The water in the Pearl River Estuary has too much sand and the sea water is relatively turbid. You can ride a bicycle around the sea to take a look.

The biggest advantage is that you don't need to buy a boat ticket, you can go there by car. Due to the construction of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, the sea water is not green enough

We went there by bike. It was far and tiring. The island is big but there are not many attractions to see. The beach is worse than that in the city. The mangroves are okay but far away.

Although Qi'ao Island is quite large, I don't think there is anything special to visit. Baishi Street and Su Zhaozheng's former residence are actually very ordinary, just the kind of attractions that you don't know what they are doing after walking around. The mangroves seemed to be resting, and I didn't go into them at all. Another literary place, the tower is under renovation, not suitable for taking pictures, and the sea water is mixed with a lot of sand, so it is relatively yellow, but watching the sunset on the Qi'ao Bridge is still recommended, it is very beautiful.

I was told that the beach we wanted to go to was two kilometers away! The bus can only go to the middle, and it's hard to wait. After getting off the bus, you still have to walk more than 1 kilometer. Oh!

The transportation is very convenient. I went to the mangrove forest. The peak season is after the Mid-Autumn Festival. There are many birds to see... It is not suitable for summer vacation and winter vacation. It is too cold or too hot. There are not many birds... It is best to go to the beach during summer vacation~ I regret not going... In the evening, we will walk along Lovers' Road to watch the night view of Zhuhai through the city, and pass by the Gongbei Port of Macau on the way. Qi'ao Bridge, opposite is Qi'ao Island. There is still an intersection at the end of the island that has not been opened. It is said that the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge to be built in the future will connect to this bridge. Maybe it is because it is a weekday, there are few people on the island. It is warm and we can see the sea. Our whole family is very excited.

After getting off the boat at Jiuzhou Port, you can ride a bicycle along Lover's Road to reach Qiaoao Island, a very quiet island with mangroves, Tianhou Temple, etc.

Compared with other beaches in Zhuhai, it is less developed and relatively remote, but the scenery is nice. Many newlyweds come here to take photos.

There are free swimming spots, historical sites and modern buildings here, which are worth exploring.

Few people come here specifically to play, but those who are interested in history and humanities may want to come and take a look.

It is easy to get here after entering Zhuhai and getting off the highway. This island has a bridge connecting to Lovers' Road, and it is more than ten kilometers away from the highway.

There were already a lot of people on the small beach, but the water was indeed a little turbid.

Actually, I usually don’t like to visit such places, but I found that there is a wall made of pure oyster shells in this former residence and a house next to the former residence, which are worth seeing; 3. Baishi Street, where you can buy some dried seafood and worship at the Tianhou Temple; 4. Mangroves. Those who have visited the mangroves may know about mudskippers and fiddler crabs, but the mangroves of Qiaoao Island also have an attractive feature: there is a seafood restaurant on a wooden bridge inside. The grilled oysters and mud-braised chicken are amazing!

I was very lucky to be there this time. The sea water was polluted and we couldn't go in the water. The accommodation was very bad, but the environment was still very good.

The island is not big, and there are infrastructure construction everywhere, making the sky full of dust. Moreover, the sea water in this place is not clear at all, and there is yellow sand. Later, the waves brought a lot of black things to the shore. I don’t know what they are, and it’s really uncomfortable to look at.

When I reached the top of the mountain, I found that the island was quite suitable for cycling.

We booked a round trip ferry ticket for a day trip online for 98 yuan per person. It turned out to be a wise move. It was very troublesome to queue up to buy tickets during the short holiday, and it was difficult to buy tickets at the right time.

Depart from Xiangzhou Port at 9:30 and reach Dong'ao Island in about 1 hour. You can choose to take a tourist car to South Beach (seaside, 10 yuan per person), or walk there for about 20 minutes. There are rocking chairs and pavilions along the way for a short rest. The sea water here is very clear and transparent, maintaining its original ecology. I played on the beach for 2 hours. But remember to bring water, there is no water for sale nearby.

At noon, I had rice noodles at a farm shop. I rested for half a day in the sea breeze, and then went hiking in the afternoon. It was not hot and I could go down to play in the sea water when I came across a good section. I only walked for about 2 hours before returning.

The ship returned to Xiangzhou Port at 4:45 pm.
