Guantouling National Forest Park is located at the westernmost end of Beihai City. It consists of the main peaks Wanglouling, Fengmenling, and Tianmaling.
The main peak, Wanglouling, is about 120 meters above sea level and is the highest point in Beihai City. Climbing to the top of the mountain, you can overlook the surrounding coastal scenery.
The most famous reef turtle on the rocky beach is the "Sea Dries Up and Rocks Rot" reef turtle, which is the iconic attraction of Guantouling.
At the same time, this is also a good place to enjoy the charming scenery of sunrise and sunset, vast sea waves and fishing lights at night.

Guantouling is a cape extending into the sea on the west side of Beihai. There are mountains above the beach, which are not very high, but it is enough to climb up and see the distant view. You have to take a bus from the city and walk a distance to the beach. There are quite a lot of people here, and it is also a must-visit attraction in Beihai. After seeing the beach, you can also ride a shared electric car to go around the mountains to see the lighthouse, radar, temples, etc. It is quite interesting.
Guantouling National Forest Park is located in the southwest of Beihai City, 8 kilometers away from the city. It is like a green dragon lying on the sea. It is named because the slopes and ridges are winding and undulating, and they look like a crown. It was once a natural barrier for the people along the Beibu Gulf to resist imperialist aggression in history. It is mainly composed of Fengmenling, Yajiling and Ma'anshan. The entire ridge, which is more than 3 kilometers long and runs from southwest to northeast, is covered with dense forests, lush green shade, evergreen all year round, and has a warm climate. Guantouling is 6 kilometers long, and its main peak is 120 meters high. Climbing the peak, you can see the sunrise and sunset, and the vast sea waves. At night, the fishing lights on the sea are dotted, and the scenery is particularly charming. The sea erosion landscape on the sea side is scattered and unique, with various postures. In the bay at the southwest foot, the sea water is clear and the huge reefs are scattered and rugged. The ancient monument Longwangyan (Lianyang Ancient Cave) is exposed due to the erosion of sandstone by waves, showing a strange and jagged rock wonder. Climbing Guantouling and looking far into the distance, the sea and sky are one color, and the shadows of sails are dotted, which makes people feel relaxed and happy. Watch the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening, listen to the waves hitting the shore, and watch the waves rolling up thousands of snowdrifts. The natural beauty is beautiful.

The Guantouling scenic spot is divided into: mountain route and sea route. The mountain route is to climb the mountain, and the sea route is to go to the beach. After I arrived at Guantouling, I followed the crowd up the mountain because it was the weekend and people from nearby Beihai came to climb the mountain for fitness. The mountain route is not as fun as the sea route.
At the end of the mountain road there is a beach with a great view of the sunset
Finally, after watching the sunset, I had a hard time taking a taxi
There is a Nanqiao beach at the foot of Guantouling, where there are strange reefs and beautiful scenery. It is also a place where local young people take wedding photos.
I don't know if I took the wrong path, I didn't think there was any good scenery. There were no directions around.
On the way there, I saw many people giving bad reviews and I felt disappointed, but when I got there I felt really comforted. It was very beautiful, the water was clear, there were lots of shells and conchs, and lots of beautiful stones.
It was a cloudy day, and Guantouling seemed to have a world-weary face. The relatively soft beach, the gray sea, and the dark rocks all made people feel depressed. Walking through the soft white sand, there was a bumpy beach. Some people were taking wedding photos, some were picking crabs together, and some were standing on the edge looking out. Lao Zhang suddenly got excited and shouted that he wanted to pick up crabs, but he didn't dare to grab any.
The weather hadn't cleared up for a long time. I stood by the sea, watching the rolling waves in front of me and listening to the whistle of the sailing boats in the distance. Where the sea and the sky meet, the sea seems to have merged with the sky, like a curtain.
There were some steamboats on the sea, offering paid sailing to tourists. Before the fog had cleared, several steamboats carrying six or seven tourists came through the fog, approaching from afar and gradually mooring at the shore.
There were so many tourists on the shore, but an elderly couple caught my eye. I stood behind them, picked up my camera, and quietly took this photo. Holding hands with you, watching the prosperity of the world together, there is never a lack of sincere and deep feelings in the world.
First of all, I was attracted by the photos of Guantouling reef uploaded by this software, but I was really disappointed. I had always thought that the reef was in Guantouling, but it turned out to be in Haikushilan, so I took the wrong road. That's fine, the area near Haikushilan is under major renovation and it's a mess. In the scenic area, the reef is more like a mess of rocks, and there is a lot of garbage. To be honest, there is no scenery. Even if the outside is repaired and the inside is clean, you must have good weather to see the sunrise or sunset. With so many conditions, this Haikushilan can only be regarded as a corner of a decent seaside park. The original picture is not visible, and can only be repaired.
Beihai’s wealthy area - Guanshanhai, first-class for playing airplanes, golf and sea fishing
There are few people and you can take pictures casually. It's nice to see the sea at the top of the mountain.
The hotel staff recommended Guantouling as a place to overlook the entire Beihai Sea. We excitedly went to Guantouling Park, but the driver took us to the beach of Guantouling. We walked 500 meters to the road leading up the mountain. Fortunately, we met a sightseeing bus that was willing to pick up the elderly and children by the beach, and then took the bus up the mountain together. When we reached the top of the mountain, we found that the viewing platform was blocked by a "military restricted area" cordon. The sightseeing bus owner said that the radar was being repaired on the top and recommended us to go to the other side to see the sea. We had to walk along a stone road he recommended. We walked crookedly and finally saw the North Bay. The scenery was okay, but we only saw the sea at the end of the road. There was no viewing platform, and the angle of photography was blocked by trees. After two hours of tossing and turning, we only saw the sea for one minute. The light was not good that day and it was very hot and stuffy. It felt not worth it.
The landlord of the apartment we rented told me about this place, which is free of charge. She said this place is a bit like Weizhou Island, with nice views. Climbing to the highest point, you can overlook the coastal scenery, and it is also the best place to take pictures of the sunset.
But my daughter was not interested in looking far away, she just wanted to go to the beach. I don't know if it was because of the recent rain, the sea water was muddy and yellow, but you could see that the sea level in the distance was very blue. Because it is free, there is a lack of management, and there is a lot of garbage on the beach.
Walking along the reef, there is a giant stone turtle statue on the beach, carrying the sea and rocks on its back, and villagers are charging fees on the side. Young couples who believe in the promise of eternity will naturally go to see it, but an old lady like me is absolutely not interested in it and I am too lazy to even take pictures. Diagonally opposite the giant stone turtle is the Sanpo Temple, but I don't believe in these things, so I didn't go in to see it. Walking on the undulating reefs, walking further in is the Beihai wedding photography base. Many couples are taking wedding photos on the reef beach.
After a round of walking, I didn't find any amazing scenery, which was a bit disappointing. I came back to accompany my daughter and watched her happily playing in the waves.
The sun was shining brightly in the forest park at 3 or 4 in the afternoon. In order to find some quietness, I found a deserted place. Under the sun, although the sea breeze was not very hot, the ultraviolet rays were still very strong. Facing the sea, the spring flowers are blooming.
There is a big turtle with the words "seas dry up and rocks crumble" written on it. I think it is suitable for couples to take a photo together as a souvenir, but there is a local charging a fee there...
Compared to Silver Beach, Guantouling Beach is a little dirtier. You can't swim there, and no one swims there. They all take wedding photos because there are huge waves hitting the rocks! So it's very clean when you walk towards the reef! Only a small piece of beach at the entrance is not clean.
Climb up the hill to see the coastline, it's really spectacular! The waves are big and the sound of the waves is loud, it's worth watching! It will make you feel very comfortable! Although I am getting burned by the sun!
Guantouling National Forest Park is a scenic spot with both forests and sea erosion reefs. We first climbed the 120-meter-high Wanglouling, the main peak of the scenic spot, and looked out at the surrounding coastal scenery. Then we went down the mountain to the seaside. Here and the beach are dominated by sea erosion reefs. Walking on the beach, you can see reefs of different sizes, which form a unique and beautiful scenery with the huge steep cliff eroded by sea water at the west foot of Guantouling. The most famous reef turtle on the reef beach is the "Sea Dries Up and Rocks Rot" reef turtle. Many people come here to take wedding photos.
It's too dirty, maybe it's still under development, there's garbage everywhere
It feels like a private beach. It's worth coming.
I felt it was quite run-down when I entered. But I kept walking inside and finally took some nice photos, many of which were of wedding photos. There is a small lighthouse, and the road is not easy to walk on because of the high and low rocks. It is like an adventure for children. There are many hermit crabs and small crabs and small conches. It is a different style of beauty from Silver Beach. But the public facilities are not very good, such as the toilets.
These are the two most worthwhile free attractions in Beihai. You can first go to the mountain to overlook the sea, and then go digging for scallops when the tide is about to go out!
It gets its name because of its undulating slopes and ridges, which look like a cave crown.
Good, worth going. The scenery is great. The air fried chicken is good.
The original beauty of the scenery ~ the sand is fine, transparent, bright and soft, and the reefs are beautiful ~
It was very windy when I came, there were not many attractions, it was just average 👐🏻
Guantouling National Forest Park is a pleasant surprise. There are fewer people than Yintan, and the scenery is better than Yintan, mainly because there are too many people in Yintan. Guantouling is very high, and the feeling of overlooking Beihai is really wanting to cheer. Five-star recommendation, free, convenient transportation, 6 bus direct access, really should not be missed
It is highly recommended. It is best to rent an electric bike or bicycle, ride along the Seaview Avenue, listen to the sea breeze, and shuttle through the shade of trees and flowers in the forest park. Before going, check the satellite map to know which cycling roads are suitable for watching the sea. You can go to those roads with fewer people to watch the sea. Many people stop at the villas. In fact, there are many places worth seeing ahead, and you can get close to the sea water. . . We rode along the seaside road all the way to Beihai Old Street, shopping, eating and buying souvenirs. . The scenery along the way is very beautiful
My friends, if you go to Beihai, you must visit the three scenic spots of Yintan, Guantouling and Weizhou Island. I think Guantouling is particularly beautiful.
Guantouling is located at the western end of Beihai City, 8 kilometers away from the urban area. The ridge is 3 kilometers long, lying like a green dragon at the southwest end of the urban area. It consists of the main peak Wanglouling (the Qing Dynasty once set up a "watchtower" on the top, 120 meters above sea level) and Fengmenling, Yajiling, Tianmaling and other mountain groups. It extends northeast to the southern foot of Shibuling, and the same direction of the underground vein is connected to Shibuling Dijiaoling. The whole mountain is named after its shape "dome like a crown". However, the service in the scenic area is very poor and the scenery is so-so
If you take a taxi, you must tell the local driver "Sanpo Temple", otherwise the driver will take you to the top of Guantouling Mountain, which has no scenery. The most beautiful part of Guantouling is the beach below. The "sea dries up and rocks crumble" scenery attracts many people to take wedding photos
Guantouling National Forest Park is 8 kilometers away from the city. It consists of the main peak Wanglouling, Fengmenling, Tianmaling, etc. It is named because of its winding and undulating mountains, like a green dragon crossing the sea, and the entire mountain dome is like a crown. Guantouling was a coastal defense fortress in history. In the Ming Dynasty, in order to prevent pirates from invading, a fort was set up on the side of the main peak Wanglouling. The remains of the fort are still vaguely discernible. The western foot of Guantouling was eroded by sea water, forming a huge steep wall. Under the wall, the waves hit the shore, and the sound of the waves is like thunder. It is a major landscape in Beihai City and is named: Longyan Chaoyin. Guantouling is the only scenic spot in Beihai City that has both forests and sea reefs. At the same time, it is also a good place to enjoy the charming scenery of sunrise and sunset, vast sea waves and fishing fires at night.
A small hill by the sea. The Nanqiao Rocky Beach below the hill is a great place to take wedding photos.
Guantouling National Forest Park is located in the southwest of Beihai City, 6 kilometers from the city center. There are Haijing Avenue and Beibuwan Road in the city to directly reach it. The only peak here lies at the southwest end of the city, and the mountaineering road can directly reach the top of the mountain. Climbing to the top, you can see the charming scenery of sunrise and sunset, vast sea waves and fishing lights at night. The beach here is lined with reefs, which is a great place for wedding photography.
There should be at least two impulses in life, one for a spontaneous trip, and one for a reckless love. In Guantouling, you will meet your happiness.
Find the No. 6 bus stop at Beibu Bay and go to Guantouling Park to wait for the sunset. The west side of Guantouling is eroded by the sea, forming a huge steep wall. The waves crash against the shore under the wall, and the sound of the waves is like thunder. It is a major landscape in Beihai City and is named: Longyan Tide Sound. In the evening, many people will come to the reef beach here to catch the sea. However, we are not here to appreciate the steep wall or catch the sea, so we choose to go up the mountain. Get off at the stop before the No. 6 bus terminal and you will reach the trail up the mountain (if you go to the end, you will go to catch the sea).
It was a weekend, and the sun was shining brightly. There was an endless stream of people climbing up the mountain. Walking up the mountain along the mountain trail, the side facing the sea to the west was basically full of excited people as long as there was a gap in the trees. We climbed to the top platform in one go, where we could see both the city and the sea at our feet. But the view to the west was not wide, blocked by a small mountain. Seeing that it was still early, we decided to move to another place. Until I wrote the travel notes, I still couldn't tell exactly where I watched the sunset in the end. I only described it as finding a stone-paved path in the forest beside the mountain trail. Seeing that the direction of the path was roughly west, we bravely went in together, walked along the road, and passed through the woods. After a few hundred meters, we got out of the woods in a sweat and found that there was no way to go ahead, but what came into view was an unobstructed sea. Then everyone squatted in the weeds and bushes without any image, quietly blowing the mountain breeze/sea breeze, waiting for the most glorious moment of the sunset.
At 6 o'clock, when the sea water finally swallowed up the last bright red, we immediately stood up and ran down the mountain at the speed of a forced march. Before we came, the driver of bus No. 6 told us that the departure time of the last bus was 6:20. We must return to the intersection at the foot of the mountain within 20 minutes - and we did it! - With the constant encouragement and "leading from the front and driving from the back" of the two hiking enthusiasts in the team - and it was only 6:15. But the driver stood us up. We should have listened to the experience of senior hikers. The last bus at 6 o'clock, the sunset and the bus, you can't have your cake and eat it too. So later I used Didi to call a regular taxi, and returned to the hotel in the Silver Beach Villa Group by meter, 33 yuan (31 yuan by meter, 2 yuan is a reward for the driver)
The location of this park is a bit remote, and it is not convenient to take a taxi when going back. You may be able to see the sea in the distance when you climb to the top of the mountain, but if you want to visit, it is better not to come.
Guantouling National Forest Park Guantouling is located at the western end of Beihai City, 8 kilometers away from the urban area. The ridge is 3 kilometers long, like a green dragon lying across the southwest end of the urban area. It consists of the main peak Wanglouling (a "watchtower" was set up on the top of the Qing Dynasty, with an altitude of 120 meters) and Fengmenling, Yajiling, Tianmaling and other mountain groups. It extends to the southern foot of Shibuling in the northeast, and the same direction of the underlying vein is connected with Shibuling Dijiaoling.
Why is it called Guantouling National Forest Park? Actually, I don't know. Such a special island is actually undeveloped. It is the best place to ride a bicycle. The maximum speed downhill can reach 40km/h. Of course, I can't ride the broken bicycle that I rented for 10 yuan because I am afraid that the wheel will fall off the bearing. The road is first-class! Forest fire prevention depends on us elementary school students~! Wild flowers that cannot be named on the roadside. Private luxury villas. The villagers living in Guantouling have a very high sense of happiness, which can be reflected in the pictures below. This ancient tree is hundreds of years old. Many of the scenery here is undeveloped. I think it should be deliberately undeveloped to maintain the original flavor. The sand on the beach here is very coarse, and there are many shells in the sand. There are not too many tourists, and it feels very desolate.
The park is free! You can rent an electric car at the foot of the mountain for 15/hour, go up the mountain first and then go to the beach to play... Everything is beautiful when the weather is good!
Guantouling is the highest point in Beihai. From the mountain you can see the azure blue sea, lush mountains and beautiful villas from far to near.
It is not a bad idea to go up the mountain to see the sea. There are several roads to go up. You can drive or rent an electric car. The road on the mountain is a little steep. It is good to see the sea and the city. Guantouling is located at the western end of Beihai City, 8 kilometers away from the urban area. The ridge is 3 kilometers long. It is like a green dragon lying at the southwest end of the urban area. The whole mountain is named after its shape "dome like a crown". The main peak is 120 meters high. Guantouling is the only scenic spot in Beihai City that has both forests and sea reefs. It attracts many local newlyweds to take wedding photos here. We happened to see a couple when we left. At the same time, this is also a good place to enjoy the charming scenery of sunrise and sunset, vast sea waves and fishing fires at night.
There aren't many people, but there's nothing fun to do. The location is also quite remote, so if you're in a hurry, you can skip it. Or if you've seen a lot of sea, you can skip it.
You can come here to take pictures, etc. The scenery is good, it's free
It is very beautiful. It is a beach with relatively few sandy beaches in Beihai and is famous for its various reef attractions. Many people take wedding photos there, and the results are also very good.
It's a very nice mountain road with many places to take photos and good air, suitable for hiking and cycling.
There is also Guantouling National Forest Park. We did not go up the mountain, but stayed on the seaside for more than an hour. The scenery there is very beautiful, and many people took wedding photos! The only pity is that we did not get up early to see the sunrise or the sunset, which left a little regret. I hope to go again in the future. During the trip, we played mahjong, sang K, and ate seafood together. It couldn't be better. As we got along, we slowly discovered that there were many lovely people in the class, and found the good things that we don't usually see!
It's very beautiful, I like it very much. A place you can't miss when you go to Beihai, the water is clearer than Silver Beach
Take bus No. 6 from Beibu Gulf Square in downtown Beihai for 2 yuan to the final destination, which is Guantouling Scenic Area.
I took bus No. 6 to Guantouling at the nearby bus stop. After getting off the bus, I followed the direction indicated by the driver and climbed up the mountain for about 30 minutes to reach the highest point of Beihai. I wanted to overlook the panoramic view of Beihai. Because it was raining and foggy, I could hardly see clearly. So my impression was average.
There are also many small roadside stalls selling sugarcane, special snacks and handicrafts.
I suggest that you go to the roadside snack stand when you are halfway down the mountain.
The snacks here are pretty good. While tasting them, you can take a break and listen to the stall owners tell interesting local stories!
It's a very small forest park. It takes an average of 15 minutes to ride the rented electric car around the mountain. There are many rocks on the beach. Many people take wedding photos here. The scenery is also good, with a kind of rugged beauty.
Recommended consumption:
Rent an electric bike (15 yuan per hour). Riding a bicycle is novel, but riding up and down the mountain is very tiring. We passed by cyclists who were extremely tired many times, and it felt great, haha.
Speedboat: 20 per person, two people negotiated for 30. The guy drove very well, and it was very exciting to sit in the first row.
Summary: It is very comfortable to ride in the mountains and stop to take pictures. Don’t bring too high expectations and just take it easy and you will gain more.
Go to Guantouling National Forest Park. This is the highest point in Beihai, where you can have a panoramic view of Beihai. During lunch, we booked a ride, but it might be Beihai’s lunch break, so the ride didn’t come. We took an express car directly. The driver was very nice. He introduced Beihai to us along the way and took us directly to the top of Guantouling.
In general, it is to see the sea dry up and the rocks crumble. But compared with other beaches, it is very unique and easier to take photos. Remember to go early, there are fewer people, and you can pick up shells. There is nothing special to visit on the mountain. We took a small path to get to the top of the mountain but it didn't work out in the end.
Many people probably won't go to this attraction, but going there will give you a different experience of climbing mountains and watching the sea. This is what makes it different
Guantouling Park is located on the west side of Nanwan Fishing Village and the north side of Sanpo Temple in the southwest of Beihai city. As a free tourist attraction, it currently has no services. The biggest selling point is that you can see Vietnam in the distance to the southwest from the top of the mountain on a clear day (with a telescope). From the city to Guantouling Park, you can take bus No. 6 and get off at the penultimate stop "Guantouling" (do not go to the next stop and the terminal "Guantouling Beach"); there is Nanwan Sanpo Temple on the south seashore of Guantouling Park, which is not connected to Guantouling Park by a clear road, and you need to take a detour from the road on the east side of Guantouling.
The No. 6 bus goes directly to the terminal. I originally planned to ride a bicycle (10-20 yuan) up, but found that the slope was a bit steep and too strenuous, so I rented an electric bike instead. It costs 15 yuan per hour. You can rent one 50 meters from the terminal. (Highly recommended, otherwise you will not be able to ride the whole journey, except for those with good physical strength.) The scenery along the way is OK. I recommend the seaside scenery from the castle hotel to the cruise terminal. You can go to the beach to play.
The view is great, the sunset is beautiful, overlooking the entire Silver Beach and the city, a good place to relax
I personally feel that the scenery is better than that of Silver Beach. There are not so many people. Many newlyweds take wedding photos there. I like the rocks, sea water, and stone houses.
Guantouling is located at the western end of Beihai City, 8 kilometers away from the urban area. The ridge is 3 kilometers long. It lies like a green dragon at the southwest end of the urban area. It consists of the main peak Wanglouling (the Qing Dynasty once set up a "watchtower" on the top, 120 meters above sea level) and Fengmenling, Yajiling, Tianmaling and other mountain groups. It extends to the southern foot of Shibuling in the northeast and ends. The same-direction subsurface vein is connected with Shibuling Dijiaoling. The whole mountain is named after its shape "dome like a crown". The main peak is 120 meters high. Climbing the peak, you can see the charming scenery of sunrise and sunset, vast sea waves and fishing lights at night. There are steep rocks on the sea erosion platform on the sea side, which are scattered and unique. I wonder, such a good natural environment can breathe oxygen and exercise, why don't aunts and uncles from Beihai come? I'm retired and have nothing to do so I go hiking. It's not far from the city and only takes about 20 minutes to drive there. There are also direct buses, which is very convenient. There are many medicinal and fruit trees on the mountain. Do you recognize the isatis root and longan in the picture? Haha
Guantouling: (Recommendation index: 2 stars)
From downtown, take bus No. 6
After reading the travel guides shared by travellers, this attraction is generally not recommended. Although it is a 4A-level scenic spot and a national forest park, it does not seem to live up to its name. With a spirit of not admitting defeat, I was determined to visit all the attractions in Beihai. I took bus No. 6 from the People's Theater, 2 yuan per person, and it took about 40 minutes to get to Guantouling, the westernmost part of Beihai. The so-called Guantouling is actually a beach and a hill. I was dumbfounded when I arrived at the Guanling parking lot. The entire parking lot was made of sand, full of potholes, and there were a lot of cement and building material garbage next to it. Opposite is the beach of Guantouling, which is actually a stone beach.
There is a beach opposite where you can fish, but you have to take a speedboat to get there. You need to buy a ticket to take the speedboat, 20 yuan per person, with fishing tools, and the fish you catch belongs to you. We didn't take it because we were not interested. We looked at it at the beach and took the bus back. Later, I looked at the map and found out that there is another beach. You need to walk through the parking lot and continue to walk inside. It is next to the Nanwan Sanpo Temple. As for Guanling Park, you need to get off at the second to last stop "Guantouling" and then climb up the mountain along the trail, but after looking at the photos of hikers, I don't think there is anything special.
Mainly because the parking lot was too dirty and messy, we didn't have the mood to continue looking for it, so the trip to Guantouling ended in a hurry.
It takes about 50 minutes to reach Cantouling by electric motorcycle from the city. There are few people and cars along the way. This is also one of the places chosen by Beihai couples to take wedding photos. You can see the shipyard along the way. There is a small area to visit when you arrive at Cantouling. You can climb to the top of the mountain to cool off. The sand here is not as comfortable and fine as that of Silver Beach. There is a small temple at the foot of the mountain.
It's a free attraction. You can get there by taking bus No. 6. The beach is not big, but there are beautiful rocks. It costs money to take pictures on the rocks, so it's good to stand farther away.
On November 3, we still didn't sail, so we decided to go to Guantouling. Guantouling is quite remote, so the hotel owner took a group of tourists there and took us along. I personally think that Guantouling is a good place to climb while enjoying the scenery, and to have fun on the beach at the foot of the mountain. Many people take wedding photos there. Guantouling overlooks Beihai City, and you can also watch the sunset and sunrise. Unfortunately, we had limited time to follow the main group, and the weather was bad, so we took two photos and left. If I go to Beihai in the future, I will go to Guantouling again.
It was just past noon and I had no plans for the afternoon, so I decided to go to Guantouling. I walked out of the old street, took the bus, and set off~~
I always thought that Guantouling should be a mountain, but in fact it is a sea~~~ and a small hillside. I personally confirmed that the mountain has not been developed. Or maybe I went the wrong way?
There are many people taking wedding photos here, and the view of the sea is also nice here.
Friends who are traveling with the elderly can choose this scenic spot. There is a small hill below it, which is not very high. Below it is a beautiful beach and you can also see newlyweds taking wedding photos there. It is a beautiful place and worth a visit.
According to the information I learned before, Guantouling is a good place to take sunset photos in Beihai. Afen and I took photos of the sunset alone, while my wife and children played at Silver Beach. Guantouling is about 10 kilometers away from where we live, and it takes about 20 minutes to get there. There is a parking lot in Guantouling, and many people take wedding photos here.
It's not bad, but the mountain is not really high, so there is no thrill of climbing. It would be better if the weather was drier.
Guantouling National Forest Park is located in the southwest of Beihai City, 8 kilometers away from the city. You can drive to the entrance and climb up the mountain by yourself. No tickets are required. The road is not easy to walk. There is nothing to do.
The tour guide told us on the bus that the reason Guantouling is a national forest park is because the relevant personnel who applied for this title were awesome. I think no matter how bad it is, it is still a park... When we went in, we found that this park is really small, with a sea, a rocky landform, and a small mountain.
We passed the turtle and went up the mountain from the small plank road next to it. It took about 5 minutes to reach the top. We looked down at the scenery below and enjoyed the cool sea breeze. It felt quite comfortable except for the hot temperature.
The commanding height of Beihai. I originally wanted to see the sea and the city of Beihai from afar, but I couldn't find a good place to climb up and see the view. There is a spherical building on the top.
The scenery is pretty good, but the location is too remote, and there are many tourists. Because there is a "sea and rocks crumble" there, many couples take wedding photos there, and the sea breeze is very strong.
The tour guide was such a rip-off. He left us on the mountain with nothing to see. We wanted to go to the reef below, but the tour guide asked us to leave. What a rip-off.
Guantouling National Forest Park, standing on the mountain and overlooking the sea below, is refreshing.
We didn't go up to Guantouling, but only went to Nanzhu below Guantouling. The water at Nanzhu is clearer than Qiaogang Beach and Yintan Beach, and the scenery is also very nice. Many couples take wedding photos here. You should be able to see the sunset at Guantouling, but unfortunately the weather was bad that day, and we were afraid of taking the bus back, so we didn't see it.
The next day, we went to the old street in the heavy rain. Because of the heavy rain, many shops were closed and we were not in the mood to go shopping. We just bought a few postcards at Haigui Slow Delivery, bought a handmade bicycle on the roadside, took a few photos, tried a hookah, strolled around the beach, and then went to Guantouling.
I heard about Guantouling Park on the way. I walked up to it. There is a meteorological tower at the highest point. It is not open to tourists. I can only walk down to the mountainside to take pictures. If you are driving in Beihai, you can go to Guantouling to watch the sunset. There is also a beach at the foot of the mountain.
Guantouling is located at the western end of Beihai City. It lies like a green dragon at the southwest end of the city. It consists of the main peak Wanglouling (a "watchtower" was set up on the top of the mountain in the Qing Dynasty, with an altitude of 120 meters) and Fengmenling, Yajiling, Tianmaling and other mountain groups. It extends to the southern foot of Shibuling in the northeast and is connected to Shibuling Dijiaoling in the same direction. The whole mountain is named after its shape "dome like a crown". The main peak is 120 meters high. Climbing the peak, you can see the charming scenery of sunrise and sunset, vast sea waves and fishing lights at night. On the sea side, there are steep rocks with sea erosion platforms, which are scattered and unique in various shapes.
