Seven Star Park

The Seven Star Park is named after the Seven Star Rocks. It is suitable for taking children to play. The scenery is beautiful in spring, with the river, trees and grass all green. The characteristic landscapes are the Seven Star Rocks (an additional entrance fee is required), Camel Peak, Flower Bridge, Sea of Steles, etc. Another major feature is the almost completely free-range monkeys, which can be seen everywhere in the park.

Located in Qixing District, Guilin City, on the east bank of the Li River and the Xiaodong River, a tributary of the Li River, 1.5 kilometers from the city center. Covering an area of about 134.7 hectares, with a green coverage rate of 84%, it is the largest, oldest, most scenic and most concentrated comprehensive scenic spot in Guilin. It is a perfect fusion of nature and humanity, integrating Guilin's mountains, waters, caves, stones, courtyards, buildings and cultural relics, and is a microcosm of the essence of Guilin's landscape.

The scenery is beautiful. It is very close to Zizhou Park, so you can visit the Elephant Trunk Hill on the way. Qixing Park is very large, with many historical sites and cultural relics, and the supporting facilities are also very good. There are not many tourists in the scenic area, and it is a relatively quiet scenic area. The only drawback is the ticket. I bought the Qixing Rock + Qixing Park ticket online, which cost a total of 77.5 yuan. To be honest, it is a little expensive, but the scenery is beautiful. I recommend everyone to go there.

I can only say that almost all the attractions in Guilin require tickets, which is not very fun, and I don’t recommend going!

Later, when I went to Guilin on a business trip, I stopped by to have a look since it was very close to the hotel I was staying in. The ticket cost 50 yuan, and there was a park inside. The locals didn't need to pay, but they were just trying to make money from outsiders!

The Camel Rock at the main entrance is the most representative. There are many wild monkeys on the hill behind the north gate. The warning sign says they will attack people, but some people feed them. The scenery is average overall. There is a Seven Star Cave inside that costs extra. It's really crazy! !

A park full of human touch, walking around and feeling relaxed

In order to welcome the National Day, a lot of thought has been put into the decoration of the park. As soon as you enter the door, you can see paper umbrellas hanging all over the sky. The colorful paper umbrellas hang high in the sky. Walking among them is like traveling through time, giving people a feeling of traveling through time.

Qixing Park is a relatively comprehensive park in Guilin City, and its area is also relatively large. Of course, we went there for the Qixing Rock. The ticket and the Qixing Rock combined ticket were booked online in advance, and the discount was 84.1 yuan per person. After entering the scenic area, I saw the slogan engraved on the stone, which reminded me of the life in that era.

During the stroll, I found a lot of free-range monkeys. They were very close to people, running and jumping on the road and on the walls. They were very cute. Many passers-by gave mineral water or peanuts to the monkeys (of course, I think this may not be a good thing). It was quite interesting to watch.

The most famous thing is the monkeys. It is said that the monkeys are not afraid of people. They are the bosses. After taking Huixian or Liutang bus to Guilin city, you can take bus 9, 10, 11, 14, 18, 21, 24, 25, 28, 30, 52, 97, 204 to get there. Of course, you can also take the yellow bus from Guilin Station. Don't forget to bring your student ID to visit the park for free. In addition to walking tours, you can take a paid sightseeing battery car to tour the entire route if you don't want to walk.

The ticket price is a bit expensive, 60 yuan for the park, 50 yuan for Qixingyan, and 105 yuan for the combined ticket. The natural scenery is average and there is nothing outstanding. The wild monkeys are a major feature. Be sure to take good care of your bag, especially for friends with children.

The small shop in Qixing Park sells jelly and mung bean soup. The park is too big and it was hot after walking a lot. A bowl of it is really good for cooling down and replenishing energy. It is cheap, only 10 yuan. There are warning signs along the way in the park, beware of wild macaques. If you are lucky, you can see them. There are more than 100 of them. Although I didn't climb the mountain, I was lucky enough to see them. A passerby scattered a handful of peanuts, and I heard the branches on the mountain shaking, and several wild monkeys rushed down, which was scary. There are not many passers-by in the places where macaques like to stay in the park, and many rock walls have been developed into rock climbing spots.

Qixing Park is actually a small cave and a camel peak. There are also some small monkeys. The ticket costs more than 100 yuan. It is too expensive. I don’t recommend going in.

Qixingyan is a typical representative of karst landforms. The cave is full of places where film is murdered. Remember to bring more film/memory cards. This is the largest, oldest and most scenic comprehensive park in Guilin. It was established in the Sui and Tang Dynasties. Many Chinese and foreign leaders and celebrities have come here. In 1998, Clinton gave an environmental protection speech here during his visit to China.

The Qixing Scenic Area is located on the east bank of the Li River in Guilin City. It is the largest, oldest and most scenic comprehensive park in Guilin. Looking down from the air, the seven peaks in the park are like the Big Dipper in the sky. The front is composed of Yuheng, Kaiyang and Yaoguang, which are like the handle of the dipper and are called "Crescent Moon Mountain"; the back is composed of Tianshu, Tianxuan, Tianji and Tianquan, which are like the spoon of the dipper and are called "Putuo Mountain". Putuo Crescent, one in the east and one in the west, are connected to each other and are collectively called "Seven Stars Mountain". Qixing Park and Qixing Rock are named after this.

Parks in downtown Guilin! The buildings in Guilin are probably the lowest in the country, right? There are no high-rise buildings, supposedly to avoid blocking the various mountains in the city!

It's close to the hotel, so we went for a walk. The original ticket price was 70 for the park and another 55 for Qixing Rock. There was a travel agency outside the door, and they took us in for 85 yuan. Qixing Park is mainly Camel Mountain, and there are tour guides every half an hour to take you into Qixing Rock. The stalactites on it look better with the lights.

If you are traveling, you must go and see this. The park is very big. The president of the United States came to Qixing Park. There is also Qixing Rock, which is a cave in Qixing Park. In the 80s and 90s, it was an honor to have been to Qixing Rock!

Seven Star Park is located in the downtown area of Guilin. From the direction of the Li River, you can clearly see seven small hills in a row. The scenery of Qixing Park is so-so. I went there for the Qixing Rock inside the Qixing Park. It is free for locals to enter and exit the park, but there is a fee to enter Qixing Rock, which is a bit of equality. I bought a package ticket at that time, walked around the park and didn't find anything to play, so I went directly into Qixing Rock. There were explanations on site, but you could only follow the explanations. There were several spots on site where you could take photos and get free key chains. After the explanation was finished, we went out the back door. It would have been nice if we could wander around by ourselves. The temperature outside was over 30 degrees, and inside the Qixing Rock Cave it was about 20 degrees. We didn't really want to go out at that time.

If you visit with a tour guide, the lights will follow the tour guide. So if you want to take serious photos, you have to hurry up. Overall, it's okay. The external attractions mainly include Camel Mountain, Chen Guang Martyr's Tomb, and some artificial attractions, which are suitable for half a day to play slowly. It's good if the outdoor weather is not too hot or rainy.

I just came back from Guilin. When I was shopping in Dongxixiang, I saw a store called Lijiangyuanwei doing an event. It gave away tickets and hotels. If you buy 200 yuan of local specialties, you can get tickets to Elephant Trunk Hill. At that time, I thought I had to buy souvenirs for my friends anyway, so I bought 200 yuan for a ticket. The next day, I went to play in Elephant Trunk Hill. It felt very affordable. It was much more cost-effective than taking a boat outside and watching from a distance. If you have friends who go, you can go and have a look. I think it's quite a bargain. I heard from the waiter in the store that you can also exchange for a hotel. I booked the hotel in advance and didn't ask for the hotel. Later, I went to Meituan to check out the hotel. It was a new hotel. The decoration picture looked very good and beautiful, and the reviews were also very good. I went home and searched for this store on Taobao, and I really found it. The things are also cheaper than those sold in physical stores, and you can also participate in the event. If you need it, you can go and find out. It's for reference only.

I personally like it very much. I like it for no apparent reason.

It feels like there aren't many tourists, it's quite empty, and there are mostly locals.

Because of time constraints, I could only go to one park. I read a lot of reviews saying that Xiangshan Park has nothing but Xiangshan Mountain. It only takes half an hour to climb Xiangshan Mountain. Qixing Park is very big and takes three hours to visit. I chose Qixing Park, but I regretted it!!! I want to say that Xiangshan Park at least has Xiangshan Mountain to see, but Qixing Park really has nothing. I took my children and the elderly with me and came out after two hours of hesitation. If you don't go to Qixing Rock, don't go to Qixing Park. It's really not worth it. A few years ago, I came to Guilin to go to Qixing Park, and I didn't think it was so bad. Later, I analyzed it. I bought tickets online and could only go to Huaqiao Gate to pick up tickets. As soon as I entered Huaqiao Gate, I saw the most beautiful scenery in Qixing Park (see the picture below). As a result, it got worse and worse. If I walked in the opposite direction, I would finally walk to the picture below and then go out from Huaqiao Gate. I might feel surprised. In short, if I were to choose again, I would choose Xiangbi Hill.

I still recommend going there if you have time.

Guilin local old park

Guilin locals and senior citizens can enter the park for free, while tourists from other places can buy tickets. The park is quiet and the wild monkeys are fat.

I went to Xiangshan Park the day before and was so disappointed. Today I went to Qixing Park. Local residents can enter the park for free with their ID cards. Tourists must buy tickets for Qixing Rock. It is so beautiful. I admire the magic of nature while walking!

Another classic of the park is Camelback Mountain, which is very lifelike.

The journey was worth it! Every step was a beautiful scene. There was also a waterfall but we stopped there because it was late.

It should be an artificial attraction. I personally think it is not interesting.

The online ticket price for Qixing Park is 78 yuan (including Qixing Rock), and the door price is 70+55 yuan. Only the flower bridge inside is a historical building (built in the Song Dynasty and rebuilt in the Ming Dynasty), and the rest of the park is a zoo + CS field battle + rock climbing + food festival exhibition area. The most bizarre thing is Qixing Rock. After the guide's explanation, the rock will turn off the spotlight and it will suddenly become dark (very in line with the slogan of saving energy), and the slow-moving tourists behind can't take pictures.

On Sunday, we took my 15-year-old sister to Qixing Park to see Qixing Rock (her student ID card misremembered the location, so it was difficult to go back and find it, so she had to buy a full-price package ticket for 115 yuan). I have never seen a natural cave, and I was very curious, but after entering, it was still not much different from a cultural landscape. It was too artificial. I had to force the strange stalactites in the cave to be various legends, animals, and people. The most shameful thing was that I had to imagine them as lions. Has Guilin ever had lions since ancient times? Have there been lions in Asia? In addition, the monkeys in Qixing Park are really wild. . They scared me.

We went to Qixing Park in the morning. It is a very ordinary park suitable for parent-child activities. We met an old man who was writing calligraphy with a brush on the ground. The calligraphy was very beautiful. The old man also wrote our names. It felt that the strong are among the people.

You can climb the waterfall. It's fun. There's also someone who takes pictures for you and charges you.

Back to the hotel, packing up, chatting with my parents and aunt, I continued to think about the itinerary, strategy + map, considering the time and physical strength, locked the target, and continued to set off - Seven Star Park. The bus is four stops away, but I was stunned instantly when I arrived. The ticket price was 115 (package ticket). Is it true? I have never seen it before. I finally saw the luxury of Guilin scenic spot tickets. In fact, when I was on the bus, I had already thought of a plan. If I didn’t go to Seven Star Park, I would walk back along the road. On the way, I saw something like a memorial archway, which should be good. At the entrance of Seven Star Park, I communicated with the locals and wanted to take the cheaper plan. As a result, the other party said that we looked too much like outsiders. How much? How much? How much? Then follow the second plan and go.

As it turned out, this hiking trip became the highlight of our trip to Guilin city.

Now the scenery here is still there, but it is in a mess.

After crossing the Jiefang Bridge and walking a few hundred meters forward, you will reach Qixing Park. The ticket to Qixing Park is 75 yuan, half price with student ID. The ticket to Qixing Rock alone is 60 yuan. Since we had already been to Reed Flute Rock in the morning, we did not go there again. The ticket to the zoo alone is 70 yuan.

Qixing Park can be regarded as a microcosm of Guilin's landscape culture. It is the largest and most beautiful park in Guilin.

When entering the park, you will first cross this ancient Flower Bridge. The Flower Bridge has a long history. It was originally a Song Dynasty building named Jiaxi Bridge. It was rebuilt in the Ming Dynasty and renamed Flower Bridge. It was rebuilt again. The bridge is like a pavilion, which can shelter from wind and rain. Many tourists lean on the white jade railings and quietly enjoy the beautiful scenery on this rainy day.

Continue walking forward and you will see a waterfall in front of you. Follow the mountain path next to it and climb up to the pavilion halfway up the mountain to take a rest.

Between Putuo Mountain and Crescent Mountain, there are two large works of art. One is the stone mural of the Light of China, which reflects the essence of the 5,000-year civilization of the Chinese nation, and the other is the Century Treasure Tripod, which symbolizes peace and prosperity for the country and the people.

At the western foot of Mount Putuo lies the Qixia Zen Temple, which is solemn and majestic, and recreates the prosperity and flourishing of Buddhism in the Tang Dynasty.

We walked around the park and found many monkeys along the way, which were very similar to those in Zhangjiajie. However, after witnessing an auntie being bitten by a monkey for teasing her in Zhangjiajie, I can't say I'm afraid of monkeys, but I don't want to tease them anymore. We passed by the Forest of Steles, which was probably closed because it was the off-season.

Then we headed to the famous Camel Mountain, which was also visited by Clinton during his visit to China in 1998. From our angle, it looked quite like a camel.

We continued to walk around the Seven Star Park. Time passed quickly. We left the Seven Star Park around 5:30 and took bus No. 11 at the entrance of the scenic area to Chunji Roast Goose.

Qixing Park is an urban park in Guilin City. I strolled leisurely in it and took a few photos.

It's been three whole days, and the weather every day is so lewd and disgusting. It would be better to have a heavy rain. It's so wet and uncomfortable without any sunshine or rain!

As we were walking, we came to a zoo in the park. We saw a big iron fence with something dark inside. We curiously approached it and poked our heads forward. "Ah~~" With a huge roar, a black bear with only white eyes suddenly jumped on the other side of the iron fence...

If it hadn't happened so suddenly, I wouldn't have panicked so much. I was so frightened that I almost fell to the ground! I stepped back completely out of instinct.

It was the first time in my life that I had a "close contact" with a brown bear. I was so scared. Fortunately, there was a sturdy iron fence between us. Otherwise, would I be able to outrun it or beat it?!

The light was darker than in the photo, so I increased the exposure to brighten it. Therefore, the shutter speed was very slow and the photo is a little blurry.

Now, more than 6 years and thousands of kilometers later, I still shudder when I think about it.



The Camel Hump Mountain in Qixing Park is not only similar in shape, but is also a very famous place.

I booked the tickets on Ctrip. Because I went to Reed Flute Cave that morning, I didn't buy the tickets for Seven Star Cave. I walked to the northeast after entering the park. Although it is the largest, best and most representative park in Guilin, it feels like a children's playground to me. There is the Twelve Zodiac Avenue. Of course, I like those small sculptures very much. The park is not big, and there are many named landscapes, but I really can't see the Camel Peak.

After dinner, I went there for a walk. There is no entrance fee. Many people went there to enjoy the cool air. The most impressive thing was that there was a big tree inside. There was a big cave opposite. The natural wind blowing out of the cave was really cool. Many people gathered here. In addition, there were also aunties and uncles dancing in the park. When you go to Guilin, I still recommend going to Qixing Park, which is quite close to the city center.

There are stalactite scenery everywhere, but it’s a pity that the photography effect inside the cave is not good.

I didn't plan to go to the Seven Star Park when I first went to Guilin. The hotel is right next to the park, so I went there early to run. I saw that I could get a 75 yuan ticket for free if I went in at 7 o'clock. I was so happy. As a result, I saw many local people doing morning exercises, and the scenery was great! There were primitive mountains, wild monkeys, and the Li River winding through. Oh my god! Where have I seen such a large and pristine park? It's really great! I didn't go for my morning run, and I just took pictures with my phone along the way. I recommend everyone to go before 7 o'clock in the morning to save the expensive tickets.

Overall, it's good, but the tickets are too expensive. Locals pay 2 yuan with their ID cards, and non-locals pay 120 yuan for a park ticket + Qixingyan ticket package. Qixingyan is worth a visit~ Oh, yes, there are animal graffiti on the trees in the park, which is very creative~~~

Seven Star Park, as the name suggests, looks like the Big Dipper when viewed from the sky. It was meaningless to go directly into the cave. I didn't expect that Qixingyan had to be entered in batches at intervals of 30 minutes due to the limitation of tour guides, so I waited outside for nearly 20 minutes.

All the caves are similar, so when you go to Guilin, it is enough to choose one or two of the many caves such as Reed Flute Cave, Seven Star Cave, Silver Cave, etc. according to your own situation.

I went there for the fame of Qixingyan. The ticket to Qixingyan was 60 yuan. The bummer is that Qixingyan is inside Qixing Park, so I had to buy another ticket to Qixing Park for 75 yuan (the combined ticket was 125 yuan, which was really a conscience). Qixingyan is still worth a visit. Here are the pictures (taken with my phone).
