Among the several beaches in Fangchenggang, Wanwei Golden Beach is really the most worth visiting. The coastline is very long, and you can park anywhere for free. However, the scenic area is relatively wild and not standardized.

I went there during the Cold Food Festival in 2023. There were not many businesses and tourists, and the waves were quite big. There was a stall selling slippers at the entrance of the Jintan Stone Monument, and it was very dark.

After watching the sunrise, you can watch the fishermen pulling nets on the seaside and buy fish and shrimps just caught from the sea. The price is better than in the market. You can watch the sunset at the seaside in the afternoon and wait at the seaside around 5 pm. I caught both the sunrise and sunset on this trip, which was good luck.

I personally think it is the best beach in Fangchenggang. It is very clean and the sand is very fine. It is very beautiful to watch the sunset at Golden Beach.

Transferred from Bailang Beach to Jintan, it is indeed very popular. I really don't like the barbecue in the food stalls. Jintan is not well developed, and the supporting facilities are not as complete as those in Sanya. The seawater is relatively clean, and there are many hermit crabs and small crabs on the beach. You can go fishing for squid. It is across the sea from Vietnam, and you will meet Vietnamese women carrying various things to sell on the coast. You can buy fresh seafood in the seafood market. Please make sure to use ordinary plastic bags to ensure that they are fresh.

It rained a little on the day we went there, and as night approached, the tide began to rise, so the sea water was a little turbid. The sea water was still clean.

The sea water washes a lot of snails ashore. Snails are delicious but they hurt your feet. Friends who want to have fun and play in the waves safely can still wear a pair of socks.



We brought our own kayaks, and after we inflated them, we went surfing regardless of the weather. Tips: In the off-season, there are few cars and people on the road next to Jintan, so you can park on the side of the road. There are no traffic police. If someone waves you to park in their parking lot on that section of the road, don't pay attention and waste your money.

However, the beach here is not very clean and a bit dark. But I like it because there are few people and no commercialization. The beach environment needs to be improved, the public transportation is not convenient, and the food is good. It's a leisure trip, relaxing.

You must go, about 50 minutes from Dongxing. Next to Wanwei Farmers Market. When the sun sets, you will understand why it is called Golden Beach. This is also a good place to take children to pick up shells.

Shama digs sand holes to live in. There is a pile of loose sand at the entrance of the hole. Its hole is winding and sometimes you can't tell where the hole is after digging a few times. Shama runs very fast, and chasing Shama is an excellent beach sport!

The Wanwei Golden Beach is calm and peaceful, making it a great place for playing in the sea. In the distance, the water and sky merge into one, with dotted boats and sails, making it a picture-perfect place. There is a levee around the island that is dozens of kilometers long on the shore, with trees planted along the levee. Strolling in the woods is refreshing and pleasant, and very interesting!
