Blue Bridge is a product of Sinopec left on Weizhou Island. It is located in the north of Weizhou Island. It is the longest dock approach bridge in China with a total length of 2,898 meters. It was originally planned to be built into a 300,000-class crude oil terminal. Unfortunately, it was abandoned after it was built because it failed to pass the acceptance. Blue Bridge Wharf is not open to tourists for safety reasons. It is now strictly guarded and it is basically impossible for tourists to drive their electric donkeys directly to the dock as before.

If you come from Xijiao Wharf, there is a fork in Dongjiaoshan Village after passing the Acacia Lake Dike. Turn north and go forward 500 meters.

From the Weizhou Passenger Terminal, you can see this long blue building on the sea, which is also called the "Blue Bridge". The entrance is hidden in the forest and is little known. It is definitely the most amazing photography spot on the island. Under the clear sky and white clouds, the sea water is crystal clear and the bridge extends all the way to the sea. It is very spectacular. Unfortunately, the visibility is not very high today, and the Blue Bridge in the distance is foggy. Check in and leave.

This is not a special tourist attraction, but an abandoned Sinopec crude oil terminal. Some travel notes specifically mention this blue bridge. The deep blue steel frame iron bridge goes deep into the blue sea. Walking on it, you can feel the charm of the sea up close and take a lot of good pictures. However, the entrance has been sealed and cannot be entered. You need to go around the side to get in.

By acejun |

Due to various reasons, it is now abandoned. As the bridge has been eroded by seawater for many years and has fallen into disrepair, the government has sent people to guard it and does not allow tourists to go on the bridge. (For the sake of safety, friends who want to go there should do it within their ability to avoid accidents.) There is a windbreak near the Blue Bridge. Ordinary tourists may not be able to find the entrance to this beach, so there are almost no tourists on the beach except for some guests who come to play diving, sailing and other activities. But it is definitely a photography sanctuary on the island. Under the blue sky and white clouds, the blue bridge extends into the sea, which is very spectacular.

Luckily, I evaded the guard, crawled through the iron fence, and walked to the Blue Bridge.

By Tuowa Travels Around the World |

The Sinopec Wharf is probably the most beautiful sea area with a lot of gravel. It is a pristine beach and worth a visit. You can feel the sea water submerging up to your chest about ten meters from the coastline. Please pay attention to safety.

If the weather is good, you can see oil tankers and cruise ships in the distance on the beach. They are just a small shadow, but they give people a feeling of being extremely close to the sea.

By Blue Bones |

The navigation of the Blue Bridge is not very accurate. When you are close to your destination, you can find a way to the beach.

The road we went to was right along the coastline of Shell Beach.

Beach on one side and woods on the other

The sun shines through the branches, and riding on that path really feels like entering a forest path.

In the end, I didn’t make it to the Blue Bridge. The Blue Bridge from a close distance wasn’t as beautiful as I imagined.

It's much longer than I thought. Even if I go up, it will be difficult to reach the blue part.

But the surprise is that the coast near the Blue Bridge is really beautiful

Maybe it's because it's a coral beach, not a sandy beach. The sea water is really clear.

It stretches for a long time without bumping into anyone.

Located on the northernmost side, it is a place with unique features. First, there is no one there. Second, the coastline is very long. When the sun is shining, it feels like a Southeast Asian island. It is only recommended to go there when the sun is shining. It is located on the northernmost side of the island, close to the pier where you get off the ship. I personally think this is the most unique attraction on the island. First, it is an informal attraction, rarely visited, and there are almost no people on the entire beach. Second, the south, east and west sides of the entire island are full of reefs, but not on the north side, so the seawater quality here is quite high. When the sun is shining, it feels like a Southeast Asian beach. Third, the Sinopec bridge goes several kilometers into the sea, which is quite shocking... But it is said that it has not been used much.

The bridge was guarded and we were not allowed to go up, so we had to use the drone to shoot. The drone crashed the day before, and we completed the mission perfectly despite the 5-6 force wind! The weather turned cloudy right after we finished shooting…

It is recommended to come when the weather is good. If the weather is bad, you can't see the color of the bridge and the sea.

This used to be the Sinopec crude oil terminal, but now it cannot be found on the navigation map. From the Weizhou Passenger Terminal, you can see this long blue building on the sea. Going down is the Blue Bridge, which is an abandoned approach bridge to the shore. This is not only a beautiful photo spot, but also a good place for sea fishing for the islanders.

The water here is very clear and clean. It is very hot here during the day. If you don't hold an umbrella, you will be sunburned. But the wind is strong and the umbrella is easily blown over. I got sunburned here.

The front section of the Blue Bridge is a concrete embankment, and the back section is the real Blue Bridge, but it is blocked by an iron gate.

By Curious Cat |

The Blue Bridge is next to the Shell Beach. You can go in, but there are people watching you!

By Czech |

A building made of concrete and steel, standing on the sea, is spectacular no matter from which angle you look at it.

Five years ago, there were a few people fishing in the sea on the bridge, and people would hang around here from time to time. Now the Blue Bridge has been blocked and there are people guarding it to prevent people from entering.

Some people on the Internet say that you can go early or late to avoid the guards. But the iron gate is still quite dangerous, because the guardrails on the Blue Bridge are very simple, and there is the sea below. If you can't go, just watch from a distance. It is best to have a safe trip.

By Sherie |

This is a hidden photo spot. The road is not easy to find, so we found the wrong one and found a small beach next door. We found that this small beach is less crowded and suitable for leisure. If you can find the right place, this blue bridge is still suitable for taking pictures. It looks pretty from a distance.

By Traveler |

My favorite place on the island, especially the Blue Bridge at night, is a dreamy place. You stand on the bridge in the sea, with the shining stars above your head, giving you an extremely empty feeling, lamenting your own insignificance. Of course, the Blue Bridge is not a tourist attraction! You are not allowed to enter. Of course, if you want to enter, you can hide and look at the old man behind the iron gate, and then climb in.

By Monkey monster |

Blue Bridge, the most shocking place in the entire Weizhou Island! The sea and the beach are everywhere, but a bridge extending into the middle of the sea will definitely amaze you! I believe that if you have read other travel notes, you will know that the Blue Bridge is not allowed to enter. In fact, Sinopec prohibits everyone, including tourists and islanders, from entering, but the guards usually have an attitude of turning a blind eye. The sunset at the Blue Bridge can only be described as shocking! The front section of the Blue Bridge is a concrete embankment, and the back section is the real bridge, but the back section is blocked by an iron gate, but many islanders will go in to fish. At night, when you come to the Blue Bridge again, don’t think that there is no one at night. Many islanders go in to fish, but there are no tourists. It is a hot summer during the day, and the sea breeze is particularly cool at night, with the sound of waves and wind, so comfortable!

The Blue Bridge is right next to the Shell Beach. I kept looking at the navigation on the way from Muya to Shell Beach. Then there was an opening where the navigation passed the Blue Bridge, but there was no sign. We tried to turn in and really arrived at the Blue Bridge. Next to the Blue Bridge is the extension of Shell Beach, where there are very few people. The Blue Bridge is a scenic spot that I have been thinking about. I thought if I was lucky enough to go up (my sister told me that no one cared when she went up yesterday), but I was driven down after 3 minutes. Oh, what luck I have. It is actually the Sinopec crude oil terminal, which was built with money from the state. I don’t know why it is now abandoned. The Blue Bridge extends to the sea for several kilometers. It takes 2 hours to walk to the end and reach the deep sea. Many locals come here for sea fishing. The Blue Bridge under the blue sky and white clouds is beautiful and heart-warming, but it’s a pity that it depends on fate to go up. Because of the heavy fog, I can’t see the blue bridge surface anymore. It’s really frustrating, but the beach here is very good and soft, the color of the sea is also super clear and super blue, and there are not many people.

By is it |

There is a beautiful blue bridge called "Sinopec Crude Oil Terminal". Now people are not allowed to enter. If you want to enter, you can climb over it, but I am too timid so I gave up.

It is also spectacular and beautiful from a distance.

The Blue Bridge is mainly for taking photos and there is nothing else there. If you are a photography enthusiast, you can go there.

By lridescent |

The most beautiful scenery on the island, it's a pity that we went there a little late

The bridge itself is not open to entry. In order to see the scenery and out of curiosity, I climbed over it twice and went in. The bridge is a bit damaged and many railings have broken into the sea, but you can still feel the shock of being here!

By Small fungus 🙈 |

The beach is beautiful, but you can't go up to the bridge to take pictures

It's not actually a pier, it's a blue bridge

By Amil |

It is the most beautiful place on the island. Unfortunately, the second time I went there, I wanted to see the stars and the sunrise, but the weather was bad and I couldn't do it. Next time I go there, I must find a good day to fulfill my wish. It will definitely be beautiful.

By Dora |

At present, this place has not been developed into a tourist attraction, so it is not open to tourists. Generally, local people who like fishing like to go there. It is relatively quiet and close to the sea, but it is somewhat dangerous.

The beach here is the most beautiful on Weizhou Island!!!

By Brain Damaged Girl 123 |

We didn't make any arrangements before leaving and even checked out of the hotel. The electric scooter driver we rented in the morning was very nice. He took us to Blue Bridge for free and said he would pick us up to take us to the pier at 3 o'clock. We then hurried home to eat.

As the last stop of Weizhou Island, the Blue Bridge is really beautiful and there are few people. I experienced the feeling of contracting the entire beach😄!

By Distant Mountains |

A bridge built on Weizhou Island for the purpose of exploiting underwater oil. The color of the bridge is blue, so it is also called the Blue Bridge. Now you can no longer climb the bridge to enjoy the sea view, as there are people guarding it. However, you can follow the local squid fishermen to climb the bridge at night. From a distance, the Blue Bridge looks like a long dragon leaping over the sea, which is particularly spectacular. The scenery is particularly beautiful at sunset.

By China-TravelNote users |

I was attracted by the pictures of the bridge before and was obsessed with climbing it. But I failed because the bridge was closed for repairs. When I jumped down, I sprained my ankle and the rest of the two-day trip was ruined. What a consequence of not being obedient.

By Meat floss |

There are few people, the scenery is great, it is a place worth visiting

By Messenger RNA |

It has been closed to tourists, but you can sneak in with the local villagers in the morning. The iron bridge is severely corroded by sea water, please pay attention to safety

By Wang Zihan |

The Blue Bridge is a bridge built specifically for the exploitation of underwater oil. It is called the Blue Bridge because the bridge body is painted with a layer of blue paint. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to go up there now, so we can only watch from the outside.

The sea here is really beautiful, with blue water and white sand. Anyway, my childhood friend was playing in the water and didn't want to come out.

Blue Bridge...

This place is very famous, but hard to find and you are not allowed to go here!

We searched everywhere but couldn’t find any road signs or signs to the Blue Bridge. After all, this is not a tourist attraction. . However, we didn’t give up and followed the direction we saw when we got off the boat. After resolutely passing through a garbage dump, we finally experienced what it means: when you think there is no way out, you will find a way out. . .

Of course, we were not allowed to go up the Blue Bridge, especially during the day. The surveillance camera showed it so clearly. After watching a stubborn young man being pulled out, we calmly picked up shells on the beach nearby. . .

By Not as good as miss 4 |

Actually, I was quite looking forward to this. I could see it when I was about to dock on the way to Weizhou Island in Beihai. Later, I rode an electric bike over there, but the entrance was closed and I didn't go up. I took a picture from a distance, but there was a broken boat next to it, which was very interesting to take pictures.

By meng |

It's under repair, so we can't get in!!! Led by the innkeeper, we fought with the old man in charge for a long time, but we couldn't get in. It was said that he even pressed the camera... So if you plan to see the Blue Bridge, give up, you can only ride to the side of the Blue Bridge and take a look from a distance.

By Blue Little Mo |

It's worth going there if you have time. It's a pity that I didn't make it.

By Left alone |

The scenery is very good. It is recommended to go there in the afternoon. It is beautiful under the sunset.

By good |

The Blue Bridge is really beautiful, but unfortunately you can't get in. It's been abandoned. However, you can drive a scooter to the beaches on both sides of the bridge to experience a beach scooter and satisfy your beach motorcycle addiction! There are not many people and no pollution. The entrance is a bit difficult to find!

By Tang Xiaonao |

It is said that it has been repaired for many years, but now you can only watch it from a distance and cannot play with it. You can only stand on the promenade of the West Corner Pier and admire its magnificence.

By Autumn Shadow |

Although the entrance is hidden, we still found it effortlessly. After all, it is not far from Shell Beach and the direction is relatively clear. However, when we wanted to enter the pier, we found that there were people guarding it. The guard obviously did not want us to enter, saying that this is a construction site and it is not safe. Despite LP's objection, I still came to the bridge and took a picture to satisfy my craving. It is said that it takes more than 2 hours to walk from the bridge head to the end of the bridge and back, which shows how far the entire bridge extends into the sea. I thought it must be great to walk slowly into the sea, feel the cool sea breeze, see the clear sea water, as if I were in the sea, but now this picture can only be imagined in my mind. Not only is it unsafe, but time does not allow it.

By Zengxi |

The Blue Bridge is actually the Sinopec crude oil terminal built with state funds and is now abandoned.

I wandered around looking for the entrance for a long time but couldn't find it. Finally, I met a lovely young innkeeper who led me there.

❗️When climbing in, pay attention to the gatekeeper. It is not easy to be seen if you sneak up through the side door.

There are white concrete pillars in front of the bridge. If you want to enter the real blue bridge part, you have to climb over an iron gate.

🤷🏻‍♀️Because I am alone, it is inconvenient to carry a tripod. And the Blue Bridge part extends to the middle of the sea, and the sea breeze is really strong. For safety reasons, I still did not climb over the second iron gate.

Friends who like photography and adventure can go there, the scenery is beautiful and it is easy to take blockbuster photos! 🌟🌟🌟

On sunny days, under the blue sky and white clouds, the bridge extends into the sea, which is very spectacular. Walking on the bridge, you can see the clear sea water, as if you are in the sea. In addition, locals also like to go fishing here.

By Diaspora |

When you get off the ship at Weizhou Island, you can see the Sinopec crude oil terminal. The long bridge extends all the way into the deep sea, which is very spectacular. It is a good subject for taking photos.

By Sophia is on the way |

The most recommended place! An undeveloped and most primitive place, the photos cannot fully reflect the beauty of this place. The scenery is so beautiful that I can't take pictures. We can see the seabed from the halfway point. The wild flowers on the lawn are also beautiful, pink and orange.

By Mushroom Mushroom Mushroom Mushroom |

There are two doors. You can crawl through the first one, but there is a man guarding it, and he will rush down immediately. We watched a dark local man casually walk through with a fishing rod on his back. The second door cannot be crawled through at all, so you can only watch. It's so sad!

By iwalkon |

The crude oil terminal is located to the east of the Weizhou Island Passenger Terminal. Although I didn’t go there at the time, I could see it from afar and it still felt very magnificent.

By Meow Bajie(ˆωˆ) |

There is a bridge over the pier. I haven't walked over there these days, so I just watched the sunset from afar. It's convenient to watch the sunrise if you live on the east coast. If you go there in July, you can walk a little north to watch the sunset on the bridge.

By Drizzle Dad |

It is definitely worth a visit. Because it is abandoned, there is no service, but the sea view is unbeatable, and it is very exciting to speedboat around there.

By Bo Xiaojing 🐳 |

It's a bridge, but now the bridge is closed to people. The place is a bit remote and not easy to find, but there is no one on the beach next to it.

By Like a gangster |

The first scenery you see when the cruise ship docks is very impressive. On the left side when you get to the island is the blue bridge that stretches into the sky.

The Blue Bridge is an abandoned long bridge extending into the deep sea at the Sinopec crude oil terminal. It cannot be considered a tourist attraction, but it is irresistible.

Walking on the bridge, I see some rusty spots, which always reminds me of how glorious it once was standing on the sea. Even though it has been in disrepair for many years, it still gives people a strong visual impact.

By Gladly. |

The Blue Bridge is an abandoned bridge on Weizhou Island. It is a long bridge that was abandoned by Sinopec's crude oil terminal and extends to the deep sea. It cannot be considered a tourist attraction, but it is also a place worth visiting. The Blue Bridge is not allowed to be accessed during the day. We climbed over the gate at night. It took nearly two hours to walk from the bridge head to the bridge tail. At night, many people fished for squid there, which was a unique experience. It was also another kind of fun. The water at the end of the Blue Bridge was very clear, and you could see naked jellyfish and small yellow croakers~

The Sinopec crude oil terminal is located on the left side of the island. It also has a very literary name - Blue Bridge. It is indeed spectacular, but there is an old man guarding it now. I went there twice and was not allowed to enter.

The local fishermen can enter at will, which is very depressing.

The last stolen picture 😄

By Li Beibei. |

Because the oil terminal is abandoned, there are two iron gates, and you need to climb over to get in. But the deeper you go, the stronger the sea breeze is, and it feels very comfortable.

By 樂元 |

It is a great place for taking photos, but it is now closed and you have to climb over the fence to get in. Although it is abandoned, the sea breeze is very clean.

By Nino |

The old man at the gate stopped us outside the gate and said that it was not a scenic spot and we could not enter, but he let the fishermen in. As a scenic spot, Weizhou Island really needs a lot of improvement. We can only take a look from a distance at the pier.

By fay |

It is a blue bridge, very long, extending 3 kilometers into the sea, but it is not open to the public now. It is said that it has been insured by a travel company to build a road around the island, but I guess it will be open to the public after the project is completed. Many people used to take wedding photos there.

By justmj |

The Blue Bridge was the most unexpected and beautiful discovery on Weizhou Island this time. I saw this place on China-TravelNote at that time and was determined to find it. It was hidden in a small road, and it was dug up in the middle. Fortunately, I walked all the way to the dark and found this secret place. When I slowly approached this beautiful coast, I couldn't suppress my surprise, put down the electric motorcycle, and ran to the beach. The endless blue sea and the blue bridge extending all the way, this is a pure and simple place. Walking on the soft and fine sand, letting the sea water splash over your ankles, can it be better?

ps. Although the pier has been abandoned for a long time, the Blue Bridge had been closed at that time, and there was no way to get in by the main way. It is said that the only way to get in was to risk climbing.

By Echo |

The sea water here is also very beautiful, and when the tide is low, there will be large shells and crabs. When I went there, the pier was under construction and I couldn't go up

By Cloud |

Although the Blue Bridge is a forbidden area on Weizhou Island, the scenery is so beautiful that words cannot express it. The feeling of being there is really great. But if you go to the Blue Bridge, please be careful.

The Blue Bridge is an abandoned bridge. It was originally used to extract offshore oil, but was later abandoned for unknown reasons. Now it has become a holy place for islanders to go fishing and tourists to take photos! The scenery is absolutely beautiful. Walking on the Blue Bridge, there is an endless blue sea on both sides, and the water is clear. If the sun is out, there are blue sky and white clouds above your head, a blue bridge around you, and a blue sea under your feet. You will feel surrounded by blue. That feeling is very beautiful. Those who know how to take photos can capture the most beautiful blue here! The Blue Bridge is not open to the public, and you need to sneak in by yourself.

We wanted to go to this place, but after asking many people, we finally found this place, but we were stopped by the old man at the door and were not allowed to enter. There was no one, the sand was very fine, and we could see the long and majestic bridge from a distance...

This is a classic that is hard to find. Now it has become a forbidden place for tourists. Generally, non-local residents are not allowed to enter. The surrounding sea is very beautiful and blue. Next to the Shell Beach is a beautiful blue bridge.

This is Sinopec's crude oil terminal, but it has been abandoned, so entry is now prohibited.

But if you really want to go in, you can.

The first step is to go through the iron gate at the bridge head. As long as the gatekeeper is not around, you can climb over the railing and go in.

When you walk to the middle of the stone bridge, there will be another iron gate blocking the bridge. You need to grab the iron gate and climb over the side.

It is not difficult to climb over the second door, but if you fail and fall into the sea you will surely die, so the OP only took a look at the second door.

(In fact, people go in to fish every day, and they bring their bicycles with them.)
