Located on the upper left of the Water Stone Forest in Tianxing Scenic Area. Among the Huangguoshu Waterfalls, it is not the height, nor the width or size that makes people want to leave, but its intricate appearance and the sound of the waterfall make people want to see it. The waterfall is funnel-shaped on the top and a trough-shaped molten pool at the bottom. The stone bags raised on the edge of the pool are like lotus leaves covering each other, interlaced and connected. The river water spreads evenly on each leaf, flowing freely, like thousands of large and small silver chains, slowly falling into the molten pool with a sound, never ending. The water flows down around the boulders, just like silver chains falling into the deep pool, which is extremely gorgeous.

The Silver Pendant Chain Waterfall in the Tianxing Bridge Scenic Area is also worth seeing. This is my favorite waterfall group in the Huangguoshu Scenic Area. The further you go downstream, the stronger the water is, and the louder the sound of the river hitting the rocks on the shore. We got more and more excited as we walked, and finally we could see the style of the Silver Pendant Chain. Of course, the scenery on the road is also quite good! Accompanied by the deafening sound of flowing water, the Silver Pendant Chain Waterfall finally appeared in front of us. Compared with the endless momentum of the Hukou Waterfall of the Yellow River, the Silver Pendant Chain Waterfall is more beautiful. Standing high and looking far, stand on the stone steps next to the Silver Pendant Chain Waterfall to take another picture. Reluctant to say goodbye to the Silver Pendant Chain Waterfall, we actually took the wrong road, and walked a small circle along the steps and returned to the Silver Pendant Chain Waterfall.
After the Silver Chain Waterfall, there is nothing else to see in the Tianxing Bridge Scenic Area.
Huangguoshu Waterfall is the most representative tourist attraction in Guizhou. It takes 2 hours to drive from Guiyang. If you live in Guiyang, you can go back and forth in one day. Huangguoshu Waterfall Scenic Area is divided into three scenic areas: Doupotang, Tianxing Bridge and Big Waterfall. The ticket is valid for 2 days, and you can only enter each scenic area once. Generally speaking, you can complete the tour in one day. If you arrive in the afternoon, you can visit it in two days. The order of the tour is recommended to go to the farthest Tianxing Bridge Scenic Area first, visit the Big Waterfall in the afternoon, and visit Doupotang in the evening. If you don't have enough time, you don't have to go to the Tianxing Bridge Scenic Area. We visited Huangguoshu Waterfall on October 1st. We thought there would be a lot of people, but we felt that there were not many people on that day, so we could take pictures leisurely. Even to the Water Curtain Cave, there was no long queue. It is said that most tourists are on the road on the 1st, so it is best to stagger 1 day, which will be much more leisurely. From the 2nd to the 4th is the peak period, and there are people everywhere, which is also unavoidable.
Tickets for the Huangguoshu Scenic Area can be booked through the official WeChat account "快行慢游". Reservations can be made three days in advance and tickets will be released after midnight. Since the scenic area has a limited flow of people, please purchase tickets in advance during the peak season to avoid delays.
The most beautiful waterfall in the Huangguoshu Waterfalls is undoubtedly the Silver Chain Falls Waterfall. When the river water pours down, the Silver Chain Falls Waterfall will show its domineering side. The rushing waterfall seems to roll up thousands of piles of snow. In spring, when the sun shines lazily on the waterfall, the waterfall looks like it is covered with a layer of gauze, crystal clear. It is better to say that this is a silver chain carved by nature than a waterfall.
I used to think that Huangguoshu Waterfall was just one big waterfall and that it would only take ten minutes to visit. But in fact, Huangguoshu Waterfall is a family of waterfalls. It is said that 18 of them have been developed. The Huangguoshu Waterfalls present various forms, some are magnificent and majestic, some are like high mountains and flowing water, and they are unpredictable. You can mainly visit the famous big waterfall, the Doupotang Waterfall in Journey to the West, and the most beautiful Yinlianzhuitan Waterfall.
The three scenic spots of Huangguoshu are Doupotang, Tianxing Bridge and Huangguoshu Waterfall in order.
To enter the gate of the first attraction within your reserved time, you must swipe your ID card and scan your health code. After that, put away your ID card and scan your face. There is no such thing as paper tickets.
We took a bus to the first scenic spot, Doupotang Waterfall, which is said to be the waterfall that Tang Monk and his disciples walked through at the end of the 1986 version of "Journey to the West". Doupotang is the widest waterfall in the Huangguoshu Waterfall Group, with a top width of 105 meters. This scenic spot is not big, and it takes an hour to go back and forth. Then we took a bus to Tianxing Bridge.
June is the rainy season, which should be the time when water is most abundant. The grandeur of the Silver Chain Pendant Pond is beyond my imagination. The water rushing in from all directions instantly falls into the pond, rolling up thousands of layers of snow on the stones on the roadside, which is very touching.
Yinlianzhuitan Waterfall is located in the lower reaches of Huangguoshu Waterfall. It is a waterfall of the waterfall type. This waterfall is only more than ten meters high, with a funnel shape on the top and a trough-shaped karst pool at the bottom. The water of Chahe River is divided into strings of beads by the travertine beach and falls into the deep pool. It is the most beautiful waterfall in the Huangguoshu Waterfall group.
The most beautiful, the most essential, the most turbulent and the most imposing Silver Chain Falling Pond Waterfall in the Huangguoshu Tianxing Bridge Scenic Area! The splashing water mist hits you in the face, the sound of water roars, just like thousands of troops rushing into the valley, drums beating, roaring, and like a giant dragon that can't stop, surging and rolling, with no end in sight, only stirring up huge waves...
The Huangguoshu Scenic Area is very large, including three scenic areas: Doupotang, Tianxing Bridge and Huangguoshu Waterfall.
The order of my tour is Huangguoshu Waterfall, Water Curtain Cave, Doubotang and Tianxing Bridge.
It takes a whole day to complete all three tours. I got on the scenic area sightseeing bus at around 7:00 in the morning and left the scenic area at around 5:30 in the afternoon.
There are only three places worth visiting in the entire scenic area, in short, the three waterfalls. The Tianxing Lake Water Forest and other attractions that we passed while walking are completely uninteresting and feel like small attractions that are just there to make up the numbers.
One is the Great Falls (including the Water Curtain Cave. You must wear a raincoat when passing through the Water Curtain Cave, otherwise you will become a drowned chicken. Raincoats are sold inside and outside the scenic area, and the price is about the same.)
The Water Curtain Cave is very interesting, but it will be extremely crowded during peak hours and it will take a long time to walk through the cave.
So you either go to the falls early in the morning when the tour group hasn't arrived yet, or you go to the falls around four in the afternoon when the tour group has already left.
The second is Doubotang Waterfall, which is said to be the location for the 1985 version of Journey to the West where the four masters and apprentices led their horses across the river.
The third is the Silver Chain Falling Pond Waterfall at Tianxing Bridge (you will pass by Tianxing Cave on the way, so if you are interested in caves, you can go in and take a look)
Tianxing Lake is the dividing point between the upper and lower parts of the Tianxing Bridge Scenic Area. Personally, I feel that there is nothing interesting or fun to see in the upper part. Anyway, I was concentrating on walking and didn’t take many photos.
The most worth seeing at Tianxing Bridge is the Yinlianzhuitan Waterfall. Usually, tour groups go to Tianxing Bridge, walk to Tianxing Lake and then return. They will not go to the Yinlianzhuitan Waterfall, so it is not recommended to join a tour group at Huangguoshu.
The Yinlianzhuitan Waterfall is completely different from the Big Waterfall and the Duopotang. It is more dynamic and beautiful.
The water flows down the rocks from a height of more than ten meters, like large and small silver chains falling into a deep pool, gorgeous and dazzling.
If there is a diving ranking in the waterfall world, then the Silver Chain Falling Pond Waterfall will definitely be the champion, because the way its body falls into the pond is so graceful.
The Silver Chain Falling Pool Waterfall is really shocking. The water is rushing. Standing on the edge, although there are railings around it, I still feel like I dare not get too close.
It looks better than expected, very impressive, with splashing water
The shape of the Yinlianzhuitan Waterfall is like a bucket, its sound is like a song, and its shape is like a chain. Once you see it, you won't want to leave. Recommended!
A waterfall that doesn’t “win” by its height, it’s like a plate.
Because of the raised rocks in the karst pool, the waterfall looks like a thousand silver chains connected together to form a beautiful net that falls into the karst pool, which is very magical.
It is neither the highest nor the widest among the Huangguoshu Waterfalls, but I fell in love with this waterfall at first sight when I saw the picture, because the raised rock mass in the molten pool makes the waterfall look like thousands of silver chains connected together to form a beautiful net falling into the molten pool, which is very magical.
The most worthwhile place to check in in the scenic area. Because it is in the second half, there are fewer tour groups.
I think this is one of the essences of Huangguoshu. It is so beautiful even in the dry season in winter.
The Silver Chain Falling Pool Waterfall is very spectacular, with water rushing from all sides to the middle, splashing everywhere. I don't know who played a prank, but actually threw a plastic bottle into the Silver Pool. This 24-hour non-stop flushing is destined to make it impossible to get the bottle out.
Although the waterfall on the Tianxing Bridge side has a small drop, it is large in scale. The waterfalls are connected one after another, forming a large area. Comparing it with the plank road on the right side of the photo, you can feel how grand this waterfall group is. And the waterfall here is also named according to this feature - Silver Chain Pendant Pond.
The one that impressed me the most was the Silver Chain Falling Pond Waterfall. Because it had rained in the past few days, the water flow was still quite sufficient. Just like its name, the silver chain-like rushing water rushed to the middle from all sides. Although it was not spectacular, it was very unique and gentle.
The rumbling sound of flowing water came, and when I turned the mountain road, I saw the spectacular Silver Chain Falling Pond Waterfall. The description of Silver Chain Falling Pond is really appropriate. The whole waterfall is like thousands of silver chains falling into the bottom of the pond forever, and like strings of pearls hanging on the stone wall.
The waterfall is funnel-shaped on top and trough-shaped at the bottom. The surface of the pool is raised with interlaced rocks, and the river water is evenly spread out, falling to the bottom of the pool like thousands of silver chains of all sizes, hence the name.
Its shape is like a bucket, its sound is like a song, and its shape is like a chain. Among the Huangguoshu Waterfalls, it is not the one that wins by its height, nor by its width or size, but by its intricate shapes and the sound of the waterfall that makes people want to leave once they see it.
The silver chain falls into the pond, and standing there feels magical. Looking at the millions of waters gathered together and colliding strongly, one will unconsciously want to fall into it.
The extremely beautiful Yinlian Zhuitan Waterfall is called a waterfall, but it does not have a drop. When you get close to it, you can hear the roar of the falling water and the splashing silver beads. It feels so jumping that it is worth the three hours of hard work.
After coming out of Tianxing Cave, you will see the biggest attraction, the Yinlianzhuitan Waterfall. The whole waterfall is funnel-shaped, which is rare and strange, and the sound is huge, which is absolutely unforgettable. Take the cable car down the mountain from the waterfall, which costs 10 yuan per person. It is super short, only about 5 minutes. You will go down before you can react. After exiting the cable car, walk about 400 meters to take the sightseeing bus to Huangguoshu Waterfall.
In order to see the beautiful scenery, you need to walk 4 kilometers of mountain roads. Although it is tiring, it feels worth it after arriving here.
This place is really nice and stunning. I can’t capture it with my phone. I don’t know how spectacular it would be if I came here in the summer, but it certainly wouldn’t be as crowded as it is now to take in the scenery!
When we arrived at the Silver Chain Pendant Pond, the upper half of the waterfall was exposed to strong light, while the lower half was in shadow. The light contrast was very large, and the effect was not ideal without a grayscale gradient filter. We could only take some partial photos from the side.
The main attraction here is the wonderful combination of stone, trees and water. It is a natural scenic spot formed by the transformation of stone forest on water. It is so beautiful.
Different from the general waterfalls, the water flows from many places and converges into the pool, which is very unique and must be recommended!
As one of the highlights of Huangguo, it is indeed worthy of its reputation and the scenery is as its name suggests. It’s just that it is relatively late in the hike and is easy to miss!
Fruit Tree Silver Chain
The Huangguoshu Waterfall on the RMB is here, with many people surrounding the waterfall. The Doupotang Waterfall, where you carried the load and I led the horse in "Journey to the West", is also here. Many of you and I took pictures here, but the most beautiful one in my impression is the Silver Chain Falls, far away from the crowd. The water comes out from the ground. It is called a waterfall but there is no drop. The torrents are splashing like a shower. If it is midsummer, it is cool and refreshing. The introduction says that this is the most beautiful waterfall group in China, and it is right.
Fire trees and silver flowers, fruit trees and silver chains.
Personally, I prefer the Silver Chain Pendant Pond. On the one hand, it is the only beauty that is within easy reach. On the other hand, I spent three hours just to see it, which is not easy to come by.
The Silver Chain Falling Pond Waterfall is quite amazing when viewed up close.
It is not as big as Huangguoshu Waterfall, and the drop is not as big, but it feels the most shocking. The roar of the waterfall and the leap of the silver beads give people a visual and auditory feast. I not only took pictures at that time, but also recorded videos just to share with friends.
The Silver Chain Falling Pond Waterfall is worth seeing. It is spectacular and worth the trip.
The sudden appearance of the Silver Chain Pendant Pond in front of me instantly aroused my enthusiasm. I felt that the combined sense of grandeur and uniqueness slightly surpassed the Huangguoshu Waterfall. I re-energized myself for the return trip, otherwise I would have to rely on perseverance to finish the rest.
The Silver Chain Pendant Waterfall is the highlight of the Tianxing Bridge Scenic Area. Unlike ordinary waterfalls, it does not descend from a high drop, but slowly slides down from multiple angles at the same time, forming a vortex, just as its name suggests, like a necklace pendant.
Seeing the Silver Chain Falling Pond Waterfall so close, the waves are surging, it is so spectacular that you can't experience it without being there in person. Cool~~~
I was stunned when I saw the Silver Chain Falling Pond Waterfall. It was worth it to come here. It can be viewed around and filmed at 120 degrees.
Only after seeing the Silver Chain Falling Pond can you say that you have been to Huangguoshu Lake and Tianxing Bridge.
The Silver Chain Pendant Pond is very beautiful. If your physical strength allows, please walk here.
The sound of water is getting louder and louder, hitting the rocks, like beating gongs and drums, roaring loudly, and galloping horses. I can't help but sigh at this amazing work of nature. We have always lived in the steel and concrete of the city, and we rarely have the opportunity to get close to nature. It is said that human cells are renewed every 7 years, and every 7 years, we are a brand new self. This is probably the reason why I have been particularly inclined to travel to cities or countries rich in natural resources in recent years, and I also like to experience "the smoke rising in the desert, the setting sun on the long river". If there were fewer people here, it would be even more perfect!
This can be expressed as a wonderland of sound. The sound of the waterfall hitting the rocks is as beautiful as a symphony. The picture cannot express the majesty of the waterfall. I suggest that you really experience it in person.
It had rained heavily the day before, so the Silver Chain Waterfall lacked grace and became more majestic.
This is the last waterfall in the second half of the trip, and it is also the largest and most spectacular one. It is like a funnel, with water constantly gathering here and flowing into the funnel. The momentum is beyond description.
The Silver Chain Waterfall was the biggest surprise of our trip to the Huangguoshu Scenic Area. Although the waterfall is not very big, it is extremely magnificent, like a silk shawl inlaid with pearls, shining with pearly luster and thin and smooth. The most coincidental thing was that it was originally cloudy that day and we didn’t see the sun all the way, but when we arrived at the Silver Chain Waterfall, a ray of blue sky broke through the clouds and fell on the beautiful Silver Chain Waterfall, just like the dimples on a girl’s face when she smiles, adding three points of beauty.
It wins not by its height, nor by its width or size, but by its intricate shapes and the plaintive sound of the waterfall that make people not want to leave once they see it.
Like thousands of silver chains of different sizes, they slowly fall into the calcite pool with a sound that goes on and on forever. The water of Sancha River is divided into strings of beads by the travertine beach and falls into the deep pool. It is the most beautiful waterfall in the Huangguoshu Waterfall Group.
The Silver Chain Falling Pool Waterfall is located on the upper left of the Water Stone Forest. The waterfall is only more than ten meters high, with a funnel shape on the top and a trough-shaped molten pool at the bottom. The edge of the pool is bulging with stone bags like lotus leaves, and the river water spreads on the leaves, forming thousands of large and small silver chains, slowly falling into the molten pool. Although there are many waterfalls, it is very rare to see such a unique one, which is a special surprise.
The Silver Chain Waterfall is particularly spectacular, but unfortunately it rained that day, so the water was a little yellow, not as beautiful as the photos on the Internet, and there was a lot of mist.
The silver pendant chain waterfall has a lot of water vapor, and the photos taken are all hazy.
The end of the Tianxing Bridge is also the most essential part, where the water is very strong and can be appreciated from close up.
How magnificent! How beautiful! The water slid down from several huge rocks, accompanied by a huge roar, drawing several elegant arcs and reflecting a beautiful rainbow!
After coming out of Tianxing Cave, we walked down along the plank road beside the stream. The rushing stream was like thousands of horses galloping, and the mighty sound shook our hearts all the time.
The Silver Chain Pendant Waterfall is located in the Tianxing Bridge Scenic Area. It is composed of many small waterfalls and is the most beautiful waterfall in the Tianxing Bridge Scenic Area. The water flows down around the boulders, like silver chains falling into a deep pool. It is exquisite and beautiful!
There are many waterfalls pouring into a pool. When I saw this scene, I suddenly thought of the description of the water flowing into a pool in "The Yellow River Ghost Coffin", and I suddenly wanted to know what was under the water.
The Silver Chain Pendant Waterfall is so beautiful that people will stay for a long time and will not want to leave.
This is the most beautiful place in Tianxing Bridge. Large rocks and several beams make the water splash down like silver chains and immediately flow into the underground river. It is also a typical karst landform.
This is at the back of the Tianxing Bridge, and it’s quite far to walk, but it’s still highly recommended to go and see it.
The height of this waterfall is not big, only more than ten meters high. The river water spreads evenly on each raised stone bag, interlaced and connected, like thousands of large and small silver chains, falling into the deep pool. The end of the water is a place called Pearl Spring, where the Baishui River dives into the ground, and the soft water waves slide over the whole stone, rolling into crystal pearls on the surface of the rock, which is really beautiful!
Although the Yinlianzhuitan Waterfall is different in style from the Big Waterfall, the experience it brings is equally great. It is indeed a highlight that cannot be missed in the Huangguoshu Scenic Area!
The description of the silver pendant on the sign of the scenic spot is very accurate and appropriate. The abundant water in summer is a feast for our eyes. It is hard to find any other adjective to describe it except shocking and magnificent.
The Tianxing Bridge Scenic Area not only has waterfalls, but also unique stone forests and geological wonders. When you arrive at the Huangguoshu Waterfall, you must go to the Tianxing Bridge. And after passing the Yinlianzhuitan Waterfall, you must continue walking forward to see more beautiful stone forests.
Tianxing Bridge Scenic Area is the most worthwhile and must-see attraction.
This waterfall is only about ten meters high, with a funnel shape on top and a trough-shaped karst pool at the bottom. It was a flood season, so when the river water flowed from top to bottom, it looked more like a silver funnel than a silver chain.
The Silver Chain Pendant Waterfall is the smallest of the three waterfalls. The river water flows from a funnel to the middle, and the stones look like beads hanging on the rocks, which gives a different feeling.
When we arrived at the Silver Chain Falling Beach Waterfall, the sky gradually turned blue and the scenery became clear.
It is a highlight of the scenic spot. The waterfall is shaped like a funnel. There are costumes for rent, probably those of the Miao ethnic group, for taking photos.
Really different. Really worth a visit
The Silver Chain Falling Pond Waterfall is the most spectacular. The water drops splashing along the rocks are scattered like the Milky Way and flow into the pool in the middle like a funnel. The only thing I want to complain about is that despite such a beautiful scene, there are all kinds of mineral water bottles at the bottom of the water. Could it be that they are all here to be nature's porters?
You have to come during the rainy season to see the scenery when the water is high.
The Tianxing Bridge is at the innermost part of the scenic area and cannot be seen unless you hike to the deepest part. This design is questionable. If tourists arrive at the scenic area at the end and then hike so far and for so long, it is indeed an unfriendly design. There are cable cars and sightseeing buses out of the scenic area, so why not let tourists choose to take the cable car and sightseeing bus when entering?
Looking at the panoramic view of Yinlianzhuitan Waterfall, it feels deafening!
The Silver Chain Pendant Waterfall is so beautiful that we can’t help but admire the wonders of nature!
The waterfall is like a sudden depression in the river, with water flowing down and the river channel cut off. The momentum is similar to the Huangguoshu Waterfall behind, but the type is different. It is said that this place is opposite to the Maoshuitan, one is the exit of the underground river, and the other is the entrance of the underground river. . . . When the rapids reach here, they are suddenly swallowed by the underground river and seem to be cut off. . . . . . It forms a scene. I like this place very much. . . . Personally, I think this is the best section of Tianxing River. There were not many people when we went there, and we really saw its momentum up close.
The waterfall is funnel-shaped above and a trough-shaped karst pool at the bottom. The raised rocks on the edge of the pool are like lotus leaves, interlaced and connected. The river water spreads evenly on each leaf, flowing freely, like thousands of large and small silver chains, slowly falling into the pool, never ending.
It is the most essential part of Tianxing Bridge Scenic Area.
Continue walking from Gao Laozhuang for about 2 kilometers. Because the tour group was in a hurry, they only went to Gao Laozhuang and then returned.
Many rocks form a funnel shape, and the waterfall falls from all sides into the funnel. Now is the flood season, the waterfall roars. If it is the dry season, the waterfall is more like a silver chain.
In fact, it is not as big as shown in the picture, but it is still very spectacular, with the feeling of large and small pearls falling on a jade plate. It takes a long way to get there from the gate of Tianxing Bridge Scenic Area.
Personally, I think the Yinlianzhuitan Waterfall is the most beautiful place in the Tianshengqiao Scenic Area.
The turbulent water is divided by the staggered boulders. The water on the upper edge is extremely fast and thin, revealing the true color of the stones. The lower edge falls naturally along the texture of the stones, twisting into strands, just like a silver chain falling, hence the name Silver Chain Falling Pond. There is no place more vivid than this. The three sides converge, and the middle is a water flow as high as a person.
Arriving at the Yinlianzhuitan Waterfall, the view suddenly opens up and the huge sound instantly makes people feel excited. It is different from other waterfalls. It does not win by its height, but by forming a concave shape. Waterfalls coming from different directions converge together, intertwined and connected, like thousands of silver chains of different sizes, which is very spectacular.
The Silver Chain Falling Pool Waterfall is located on the upper left of the Water Stone Forest in Tianxing Scenic Area. This waterfall is only more than ten meters high, with a funnel shape on the top and a trough-shaped karst pool at the bottom. The raised stone bags on the edge of the pool are staggered and connected, and the river water spreads evenly on each leaf surface. This is my favorite waterfall in the scenic area. The essence of the Tianxing Bridge Scenic Area is in the second half, that is, after Gao Laozhuang, and most tour groups leave after Gao Laozhuang, so you must travel independently to see this attraction.
