We walked back and crossed the "Sea Lion Bridge" to the other side, and then climbed up and down the mountain. The trail often passed through caves. The limestone was dissolved and the river water infiltrated, resulting in frequent water curtain caves. We walked across the "Jiangxin Island Cable Bridge" and went up to get back to the exit of the scenic area.

To enter the scenic area, you need to go down from the mountain to the valley. There are two ways to choose: the mountain path and the elevator. In the 1990s, people took a cable car to enter the canyon of Maliang River. However, an incident that shocked the whole country at that time was also caused by this cable car. There are several suspension bridges in the scenic area, connecting the two sides. Most of the paths we visited were dug out on the mountainside, which is a bit like a hanging wall road. There is an abandoned stone bridge in the scenic area, which is covered with moss and weeds. As for why the bridge was abandoned, whether it was destroyed by floods or earthquake landslides, it is unknown. At the end of the scenic area is the Wanma Pentium Waterfall Group, with three waterfalls hanging down like white silk, and countless small waterfalls interspersed among them. It is said that the Maliang River is a canyon with 72 waterfalls. The three waterfalls here are probably the most representative. The open area of the scenic spot actually accounts for only one tenth of the entire canyon. Due to the complex landforms and the difficulty of development, many magnificent landscapes are still hidden in the depths of the canyon. Coming to the other side of the river, taking a closer look at the stone bridge, it feels like it has been integrated with the environment. Looking down at the canyon, October does not have the most rain. In summer, you can also experience rafting here. As a mature scenic spot in Xingyi City, I personally think that the price of a national 4A-level scenic spot can only be said to be medium. This time we chose to enter from the Xiaoqingshan entrance and slowly descended to the bottom of the valley along the pedestrian trail. The main attraction was the endless waterfall landscape. Since the scenic spot itself is not large, basically you can go back along the tour route at the bottom of the valley to the waterfall viewing platform at the farthest end, so the actual tour time is about two hours. It should be reminded that if you are not confident in your physical strength, it is better to take the elevator directly up and down the valley. There is National Highway 324 crossing just above the canyon. In fact, if you are just passing by, the bridge across the canyon is also a good viewing point, and you can see the waterfall at the farthest end of the scenic spot from a distance. Because the canyon is relatively damp and dark, it is particularly difficult to take pictures of the waterfall. If you are physically strong, you should bring a tripod.

Finally, we saw the big waterfall that has been used many times in promotional videos. After returning from the waterfall viewing platform, we crossed a suspension bridge to the other side of the canyon, and then walked a small loop to reach the exit.

When we went there, only Xiaoqingshan was open.

When I first walked into the canyon, I could only see a very thin waterfall. I was quite disappointed at the time and felt that this attraction was just so-so. Last year, I went to the "Balagzong Grand Canyon" in Yunnan and felt it was very ordinary. I felt that the Maliang River was probably in the same situation and I was even less interested. It may be very beautiful in the season with water. It was the dry season when I went there, so I felt that the characteristics were not prominent. Suggestion: Go from April to October, the valleys, streams, and plank roads will be more exciting and exciting!

This trip plan set out three must-see waterfall landscapes, Xiaoqikong, Chishui Waterfall, and Maling River. Xiaoqikong is delicate but not grand enough, and there are too many people. I didn't even get to see Chishui Waterfall, but Maling River finally allowed me to see a majestic and magnificent waterfall in the traditional sense.

The length of the trails currently open in the Maling River Grand Canyon is less than two kilometers. In addition to viewing the water, the mountains in the Maling River Grand Canyon are also different from ordinary waterfall mountains. After I went there, I found that the photos could not express the magnificence of the waterfall (especially the last part where thousands of horses galloped), the depth of the canyon and the steepness of the rock walls, and the turbulence of the river.



All in all it's very good, but the 40 yuan elevator is a bit expensive.

Walk along the mountain trails on both sides of the canyon. There are two suspension bridges connecting the front and back. You can choose to go forward or reverse. Find a good day with blue sky and white clouds. The Grand Canyon is worth a visit!

The overall scenic area is relatively primitive and not developed deeply enough. The total playing time is about 3 hours.

The scenery is nice, but I think the ticket price is too high and the value for money is not worth it

The pedestrian paths on both sides of the canyon are built along the river. There is a sightseeing elevator in the scenic area, which costs 50 yuan per person. After reading the introduction in the travel notes, it is not recommended to buy it. Facts have proved that everyone is right. The elevator can only save about ten minutes of travel. The price of 50 yuan is too much. There are many stairs up and down the canyon, which feels very tiring. There are waterfalls everywhere in Qingshan Canyon, some are majestic, some are trickling, some are magnificent, and some are ethereal. No matter what form they are, they are so beautiful and fairy.

There are buses to the scenic spot, which is very convenient to visit. The scenic spot is very unique and exceeded expectations. It was rainy season when I went there, and the river water rose and the waterfall was also quite powerful. It is worth recommending

Personally, I think that if the two scenic spots in Xingyi, Wanfenglin and Maling River Grand Canyon, are not too far away, it is still worth arranging a special trip.

We walked for about three or four hours to see the waterfalls and rocks in the canyon. Our bodies were sticky with sweat and water, but the canyon is indeed a work of nature, combined with human wisdom and labor, which is really amazing.

It was shaking a lot when the car drove over it. I don’t know if it has been repaired now. There was no elevator back then, and it was still very hard to climb up and down the mountain.

All the way to the slope of the Grand Canyon, various waterfalls appeared before our eyes. We both praised that this place was much more beautiful than the Huangguoshu Waterfall. The karst scenery of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau was right in front of us. This is simply a waterfall museum, with waterfalls one after another. The waterfalls are novel, some are like hanging white silk, some are like shaking silver sand, some are like galloping horses, and some are like flying pearls... The water flows are large and small, and the sounds are high and low, as if playing a majestic landscape symphony. It is very interesting that some waterfalls are opposite the canyon, some are right next to you, and some you have to go through them. The regrets of the Water Curtain Cave in the Huangguoshu Scenic Area are also made up here. What does it mean to linger? That was my state of mind at the time.

Since we visited many canyons, and it was more interesting to overlook the canyons, and we were short on time, we did not enter the scenic area, but drove to the Maling River Bridge and stood on the bridge to overlook the Grand Canyon. Standing on the bridge, I saw many people's legs were shaking hahahaha, but it was really beautiful.

The Maling River Canyon looks quite impressive on its own, with a long and narrow valley, a turbulent river below, and occasional waterfalls on the mountain walls on both sides. The water volume is so large that tourists have to hold umbrellas when they go there. But compared with the scenery along the way these days, the Maling River Grand Canyon is obviously slightly inferior. If the canyon tour is unilateral, you can enter from one of the gates of the scenic area. If you walk all the way to the end on one side of the canyon, you can go out from the other end to another gate of the scenic area. However, it is not recommended for self-driving tourists to go this way because you can't get back to your parking lot. Another way is to visit in a circle, cross the bridge to the opposite side after visiting from one side, which is equivalent to returning by the original route. The road on the side wall of the canyon is not easy to walk, and you have to go up and down constantly. Tourists with poor physical strength need to decide whether to go to the end according to their physical condition. There is a bridge to turn back halfway. If you miss this bridge, you can either walk to the end with one mind and there is another bridge, or you can only turn around directly, but you can't see the scenery from the other side. It took us more than 2 hours to get out of the scenic area. The elevator in the scenic area feels very uneconomical. The round trip fare is 40 yuan each one way. Because the Grand Canyon is at the bottom and the way down the mountain is easy, I didn't think about taking the elevator. The 40 yuan one way trip up the mountain dampened my enthusiasm for taking the elevator.

We walked the whole way and did not take the sightseeing elevator. If you are traveling with the elderly and children, you can choose the sightseeing elevator to go up and down the canyon. The sightseeing elevator to go up and down the canyon costs 40 yuan (one-way trip is not sold), but we didn't think it was worth it. In fact, the road is easy to walk and it only takes about 10 minutes to get there. The scenery of the canyon is still very beautiful.

We adults took the children for about 2 hours. Except for the children who felt a little tired, the adults felt OK. It was still very cool in the canyon. The water was also very high in the rainy season. Just pay attention to some sun protection. The adult ticket for Maling River Canyon is 80 yuan. At present, it seems that tourists from 10 provinces and cities such as Sichuan, Chongqing, and Zhejiang can get free tickets with their ID cards. Tourists from Beijing can get a 50% discount on their flight tickets when they come, and children can get free tickets. The four of us only spent 160 yuan on tickets, which feels great value.

2. If you have elderly people or children, it is recommended that you take the sightseeing elevator from the entrance to the bottom of the valley. Young people can actually walk. The staff said it takes 40 minutes to get to the bottom of the valley, which is not that exaggerated, only about 10 to 20 minutes.

3. There are walking trails on both sides of the river valley. The river center iron cable bridge and the sea lion bridge connect the two trails into a ring. It takes about 3 hours to walk around. There are many places where you have to walk behind the waterfalls, so it is best to wear shoes that can wade through water.

4. Wanfenglin and Maling River Canyon are 19 kilometers apart, a 30-minute drive, so there is plenty of time to visit both scenic spots in one day.

There is a round-trip elevator in the scenic area, which costs 40 yuan for a round trip. You don’t have to take it because it only takes ten minutes to walk down.

The Maliang River Grand Canyon is indeed worthy of its reputation. There are many caves like the Water Curtain Cave on the trail, which are dripping with water. At the end, after crossing the bridge and going further in, you will see the majestic Ten Thousand Horses Galloping. This is a must-see. It feels more imposing than the Huangguoshu Gorge. The drop is greater and the water flow is faster. It is said that during the flood season, more than a dozen large and small waterfalls rush down from the cliffs at the top of the valley, which is amazing.

We took bus No. 4 and headed straight to the Maling River Grand Canyon Scenic Area. The bus was very easy to wait for, and we arrived at the scenic area in about 20 minutes. Along the way, the canyon was full of water and magnificent, and it deserves to be called "a beautiful scar on the earth"!

Now there is an elevator, one-way and two-way are 70 per person. I don't think it's necessary to take it. It's good to walk. Wanma Pentium Waterfall, you have to see it with your own eyes. It is strongly recommended to visit here. It is said that you can raft, but it also depends on the situation. You can't raft when it rains heavily. It's dangerous.

The Maling River Canyon is 6 kilometers away from the urban area of Xingyi. It is a large fissure cut deep in the orogeny and is known as a beautiful scar on the earth. There are many waterfalls in the canyon, and there are more than 20 waterfalls within 1.7 kilometers of the Tianxing Gallery.

Maybe I read too many travel notes before coming here, and I had too many praises about the beauty of the Maling River Canyon. The ticket price was 80 yuan/person, 70 yuan/person when I bought it online, and 40 yuan for the sightseeing elevator to go up and down the canyon (one-way trip is not sold). On July 23, I took a bus from Daying to Detian Cross-border Waterfall. I used Xingyi as a transit station and visited the Maling River Grand Canyon. From 9 am to 12 pm on the 24th, I finished the tour in 3 hours (it was a small scenic spot, the walk was slow, and there were not many classic attractions). The ticket to the scenic spot was 80 yuan, which was a bit expensive. Because of my Sichuan identity, I got half price of 40 yuan, which was still worth it. The overall cost performance of the scenic spot was OK. The sightseeing elevator was a bit of a rip-off, 40 yuan for the up and down, and 40 yuan for one side, and it only took 3 minutes to walk.

Earth Crack, I suggest you enter from the east gate, go in and see the galloping horses, then leave. This is the only thing to see inside, don't go the wrong way and spend money on the elevator.
