Xiaoqikong Scenic Area

Xiaoqikong has beautiful scenery and rich oxygen in the scenic area. It is mainly for viewing water, with waterfalls and turquoise lakes, which are crystal clear. It is worthy of the reputation of being the emerald on earth.

It is best to visit the scenic area from east to west, or from west to east. I visited Xiaoqikong in two days. On the first day, I visited Xiaoqikong Bridge to the 68-step waterfall. On the second day, I wanted to start from the Stone Forest. There was no shuttle bus. I could either walk the 1.6-kilometer road from Xiaoqikong to the waterfall again and visit the Stone Forest. Or I could take the shuttle bus to the West Gate and start from Wolong Beach. It takes 30 minutes from the East Gate to the West Gate, which takes a long time. It is better to start from the Xiaoqikong Bridge, follow the tour route, and slowly visit all the way to the West Gate.

I took a boat trip on Yuanyang Lake. The scenery was not as beautiful as in the promotional pictures, but it was more interesting. Since boating takes 1 hour, I didn't have time to go to the wetland and the stone forest. Among the scenic spots, I like the following two the most. The first one is Wolong Beach, which is really amazing. The water color is similar to Jiuzhaigou. The second one is Laya Waterfall. The water is very fast. Walking beside it, it can get in close contact with you at any time.

We stayed in a hotel near the East Gate and parked our car there, so the tour route was from the East Gate to the West Gate. After the tour, we took a sightseeing bus from Wolongtan to the East Gate. First of all, thank you for the weather. It was rainy there before and after we came, but it was sunny on the day of our tour and the temperature was relatively pleasant. Xiaoqikong is really wonderful and unique. The water is blue and clear. The waterfall is in close contact with people, and you can really feel the magic of nature. We focused on visiting the Seven-hole Bridge, the 68-level waterfall, the water forest, the Cui Valley Waterfall, and Wolongtan. We basically didn't go to other places, nor did we go boating or rafting, so it took 3 hours to complete the tour. In the afternoon, we went to the Big Seven-hole. The Big Seven-hole is mainly the natural bridge, which is more than 70 meters high and very spectacular. The bridge hole formed by the karst landform seems to be carved with a knife, which is worth seeing. Due to the hasty itinerary, it only took most of the day to play the entire Big and Small Seven-hole, from more than 8 o'clock in the morning to more than 3 o'clock in the afternoon. If you have enough time, you can play in the Small Seven-hole for a longer time. In addition, be sure to bring food! If you want to play in the water, bring a raincoat and slippers. Xiaoqikong, I have always wanted to come and see it. I thought there would be a lot of people on May Day, but there weren't many people. I booked the tickets online and it only took a few minutes to pick up the tickets. If I bought the tickets on site, I heard that I would have to queue for an hour. Then I could also buy sightseeing bus tickets at the online ticket window, or I could buy them when I got on the bus. As for the scenery, for a Guangxi native, I don't think it's very novel to look at the mountains and rivers all day, but I think it's still very beautiful. I also think the service attitude of the staff in the scenic area is really good. They are very enthusiastic to answer tourists' questions, unlike the staff in many scenic spots in other cities whose attitudes are terrible. The sanitation of the scenic area is also very good. There are so many people on a holiday like May Day, but I hardly see any littering.

It takes about 20 minutes to drive from Libo Ancient Town to the East Gate of Xiaoqikong Scenic Area, taking Provincial Highway 206. You must enter from the East Gate, because the gates of Xiaoqikong and Daqikong are here. Park the car in the parking lot and buy tickets and guide bus tickets. The ticket is a package ticket, 120 yuan, including Xiaoqikong and Daqikong. The guide bus is a round-trip ticket, 20 yuan per person, and the waiting place is at the entrance of Daqikong Scenic Area.

To go to Xiaoqikong, you need to take the scenic area guide bus to Qikong Bridge, which is where the Xiaoqikong scenic area got its name from, and then start hiking from Qikong Bridge. Xiaoqikong is a beautiful canyon of about 1.6 kilometers. The most special thing is its blue lake water and 68-level waterfall due to mineral precipitation and sunlight refraction.

If you are not in a hurry, you can walk along the main road to the west gate. Usually there are more tourists in this section, especially tour groups, because the scenery is concentrated on both sides of the main road, but most tour groups do not go back and leave at the west gate. From the west gate, cross the bridge to the other side of the canyon and walk back. Although there are fewer views, the winding path is very quiet and cool, which is very fun to hike. The important thing is that there are very few people, and it takes about 3 hours to walk a circle slowly.

You can bring food or not in the Big and Small Seven-hole Scenic Area, because it doesn't take too long to walk through. There is a restaurant and cold drink shop at the east gate. There is a large rest stop halfway along the main road of the Small Seven-hole Scenic Area, selling various drinks and snacks. The prices are similar to those outside.

When you arrive in Libo County, stay in Libo Ancient Town, where there are many places to stay and eat. From Libo County, there is bus No. 11 at the New Bus Station to Xiaoqikong Scenic Area, which is cheaper than taking a minibus. After buying a ticket, take a bus from the top of the mountain to the bottom of the mountain (the whole downhill journey is not too tiring, but the uphill journey is the opposite). The whole journey is beautiful, you can experience it yourself. It is important to bring your own dry food and water. The night view of Libo is good

Xiaoqikong in Libo is a place of beauty that can be eaten and worn, just like a gorgeous dress in the southeast corner of Guizhou. The water is clear and the mountains are green, and it is charming and charming, winding out a touch of alternative tenderness among the mountains and rocks. Take a bus from Anshun to the East Gate of Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. The tour order of the East Gate is a one-stop bus to the key Wolongtan, then go downstream from the upstream and finally reach the end of the Xiaoqikong Bridge, and finally return to the East Gate to take a bus. I drifted down from Wolongtan, admired Yuanyang Lake, passed Cuigu Waterfall, crossed the water forest, and finally arrived at the Xiaoqikong Bridge. The scenery of each journey is unique and colorful, which makes people linger and deserves the name of the emerald on the earth. The photos are also arranged in the order of the scenic spots. I think the most beautiful waters are Wolongtan and Yuanyang Lake. Wolongtan has its own fairy air, and Yuanyang Lake is intoxicatingly blue. Among them, rafting in the Wolong River costs 50 yuan, and a raincoat costs 10 yuan. If you are short on time and want to visit the seven holes in one day, you don't need to raft here, because the river is flat and the scenery is average. There are only three small drops, and you need to row a boat yourself. It is better to take a car directly to Yuanyang Lake, where the blue lake is charming. Tianzhong Cave and Cuigu Waterfall are in two directions. Because there is too little time and people, I gave up. Anyway, I have visited Longgong and Tianxing Cave, and I will go to Zhijin Cave later. The facilities of Xiaoqikong are very good, the toilets are very clean, and the tour time is about 6 hours.

Located in the southwest of Libo County, Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province, 28 kilometers away from the county seat. There is an ancient bridge built in the 15th year of Daoguang (1836) at the north end of the scenic area, which is why the scenic area is named after it. It is a national 5A scenic spot and a world natural heritage. The Xiaoqikong Scenic Area is located in a narrow valley with a width of only 1 km and a length of 12 km. It integrates caves, forests, lakes, waterfalls, rocks, and water. It is exquisite and beautiful, which makes tourists feel fresh and has the reputation of "super bonsai".

Tourists from provinces that offer free tickets are not recommended to go. It can be said to be the most shady 5A tourist attraction in China. The Guizhou Qixiaokong scenic spot is a scam. I came from Guangdong for free, but they forced me to buy insurance. If I don't buy insurance, I have to copy a letter of commitment per person. Even kindergarten children who can't write have to copy it. There is no way that the strong dragon can't fight the local snake, so I have to accept it and buy the so-called per capita insurance. We entered from the west gate and exited from the east gate. The west gate is towards Mawei, and the east gate is towards Libo. Both gates are accessible and the attractions are the same, but the order of visiting is different.

A green world, a paradise, a fairyland on earth, a natural painting! There are quaint stone bridges covered with vines and ferns; there is a blue lake, quiet and without a single ripple. The reflection of the stone bridge and the quiet lake give people an elegant and tranquil feeling like a secluded orchid in a valley, magnificent and picturesque! However, compared with Jiuzhaigou, Xiaoqikong is less colorful, but it is green and intoxicating.

We entered from the gate of Xiaoqikong Bridge. I didn't expect it was a good way to go, because when we walked to Cuigu Waterfall, there were a lot of tour groups coming in the opposite direction. We went from Xiaoqikong to avoid them. We didn't have to take pictures of a bunch of zombies. Our order of play was: Xiaoqikong Bridge ~ Laya Waterfall ~ Turtle Back Mountain ~ Water Forest ~ Cuigu Waterfall ~ Yuanyang Lake ~ Wolongtan ~ Daqikong. We passed through a karst land, waterfalls, river wetlands. The scenery along the way was picturesque. It was beautiful no matter how you took pictures.

The scenery is really picturesque. Compared with the grandeur of Huangguoshu, I prefer the beauty of Xiaoqikong.

There are scenery everywhere. It is recommended not to take a car, but walk directly from the ancient bridge to the Shishan Forest Station and then take a car to the Water Forest.

When I arrived at Cuigu, I was going to take a bus directly to Yuanyang Lake, but when I saw the beautiful scenery around, I thought about walking to Yuanyang Lake. I underestimated the distance of the scenic spot and it took me a long time to walk. But it was because I walked for a while that I saw Guanlahu.

At first, I wanted to give up Libo, but my colleague strongly recommended that I go to Xiaoqikong, so I went there.

Xiaoqikong really shocked me. Before I went there, I was wondering why the ticket to Xiaoqikong was so expensive. I knew that Libo was the emerald on the belt of the earth, but I didn't know what brought it such a good reputation. After arriving at Xiaoqikong, I understood it instantly.

The beauty of this place has completely shocked me. I didn’t even think of taking pictures with my mobile phone that day.

I must give a thumbs up to the management of Xiaoqikong here. There are many people, but it’s a completely different feeling. Beautiful people are even better!

The beautiful and quiet scenery, coupled with the rich Tujia and Yao ethnic customs, make Xiaoqikong Scenic Area famous. The scenic area takes about 2-4 hours to visit. There are vendors selling snacks such as roasted corn, fried fish and tea eggs next to each scenic spot. If you are tired, you can find a vendor to take a rest and fill your stomach before getting on the bus to the next point.

Since the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area is very large, it would be very tiring to visit each attraction one by one. You can choose the best places to visit and take photos. There will be places selling snacks in the scenic area, but the prices are relatively high and the taste is average, so it is recommended to bring your own dry food.

Libo Xiaoqikong and Daqikong are now integrated into one scenic spot. If you don't want to be too tired and have plenty of time, you can spend a day playing Xiaoqikong and half a day playing Daqikong! I entered the scenic spot from the east gate, and most people choose to enter from the west gate, so that they can play in series with Daqikong without going back.

I chose to go in the opposite direction and enter from the east gate, so that I could separate myself from most people, see fewer people, and enjoy the scenery better!

I was the only one waiting at the Dongmen departure station, and the scenery was particularly beautiful...

I was really attracted by the beauty and legend of Xiaoqikong...

The only thing that made us feel relieved was that the bus we took arrived at the scenic spot relatively early, and we were the first group of tourists to enter the scenic spot. While there were few people, we went to the gate of the scenic spot first. After finishing the visit to Wolongtan, we took a bus to the next stop. Here I want to explain that after the visit to Wolongtan, it is recommended that you take the bus to Cuigu Station to go directly to Cuigu Waterfall and Water Forest, and do not take the bus to Yuanyang Lake, which is boring. I plunged into the forest with my wife and got lost! After spending a lot of energy, I finally got out of the forest and took a bus to see Cuigu Waterfall.

According to the bus route designed by the scenic spot, after the water forest is the Xiaoqikong Bridge. In fact, after getting off at Xiaoqikong Station, tourists have to walk 2 kilometers to reach the Xiaoqikong Bridge. Don't be afraid, these 2.2 kilometers are deliberately designed and it is worth walking. The 68-level waterfall is among them. As the saying goes, the most beautiful scenery is always on the road.

After passing through the dense forest path, we "finally" met the aunties on the main road. The waterfall on the stone wall became their stage for play. Their voices were so loud that the noise was definitely more than one thousand decibels.

For this 2-kilometer walking section, you can choose to walk along the small path near the stone wall, which is quieter and has fewer tourists; or you can choose to walk along the main road (asphalt road) in the scenic area, which has many tourists and a better angle for taking pictures of the scenery. The method we adopted was to walk along the main road and the small road alternately.

The steps were already crowded with people, and everyone's final destination was the Xiaoqikong Bridge.

We entered from the east gate and exited from the west gate. Except for the last Wolongtan, which we didn't visit due to time constraints, we visited almost all the other places. The whole route was roughly along the Xiangshui River at the beginning. The river was in the middle, and people walked on both sides. One side was the old road, which was steeper and narrower. It went up and down along the mountain. The scenery of the Xiangshui River was somewhat obscured by the trees; the other side was the main road, with a driveway and a sidewalk. It was not too tiring to walk and take pictures. There were shuttle buses between each major attraction, which was quite convenient. We came here in the relatively off-season, so we didn't have to queue at all.

When I came here during the flood season, the seven holes of the Xiaoqikong Bridge were almost invisible, and the color of the water was not as good as it looked online. The 76-level waterfall was pretty good, and the water forest and Wolong River rafting were mostly closed, so there were not many attractions left. I could only leave with regret. But this is indeed a good place to get close to water. The downside is that it is located in a remote place and transportation is not very convenient.

Recommendation index: 5 stars.

How to play: Take a day. If you want to take photos, it will take at least half a day. The scenic area is not small, you need to take a battery car. The bus plus insurance costs 50 yuan per person. The scenic area is large, but acceptable. No mountain climbing.

The beauty of Xiaoqikong is its elegance and the waterfall is close to you. It is right beside you and rushes towards you. Unlike other waterfalls, you can only watch it from a distance and not play with it up close.

Xiaoqikong Scenic Area is entered from the East Gate Entrance. After entering, take the scenic area tour bus and choose the farthest "Wolongtan" stop. Then take the bus back one stop at a time and finally return to the East Gate. The boarding stops are: Yuanyang Lake Station, Cui Valley Station, Water Forest Station, Guibei Mountain Station, Stone Forest Station, Xiaoqikong Ancient Bridge Station.



Note:

1. Clothing: There are stone paths along the waterside and stone paths in the water in the water forest. If you like playing in the water, please bring river shoes or non-slip sandals, and wear shorts and skirts to get in close contact with the water. If you don't like playing in the water, you can wear sports shoes, which can basically ensure that your feet don't get wet.



2. Rafting: Wolongtan rafting costs 50 yuan per person, and the whole process takes about 40 minutes. The rafts used are three slides in total, which is not very thrilling. The children can buy a water gun and have a lot of fun. The water in the pond is clear, the trees are shady, the birds are singing, and the flowers are fragrant. There is a pleasant forest smell in the air. It is highly recommended. You can bring an extra set of replacement clothes or buy raincoats and shoe covers on site.



3. Boating: You can row boats in Yuanyang Lake. The ticket is 20 yuan and the boat can take 2 to 6 people. It is a good experience if time permits.



4. Dry food: There is no commercial scenic area and no restaurants are provided in the scenic area. Drinking water can be purchased, but you need to bring your own dry food.



5. Highlights: The area from Shishang Forest Station to Xiaoqikong Ancient Bridge Station is the highlight of the entire scenic area. This walking route includes the Broken Bridge Waterfall, the 68-level Cascading Waterfall and the Laya Waterfall, which have the most beautiful scenery.



6. Time: The whole journey takes about 20,000 to 30,000 steps, and generally takes about 5 to 7 hours. You can walk according to your physical strength. The last bus stops at 19:00, so don't miss the last bus.

Since we had done enough research beforehand, we chose to enter the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area from the west gate. The Xiaoqikong Scenic Area not only has a very grand west gate, but also has a large parking lot, so large that it feels like it takes about 1 kilometer to walk from the parking lot to the ticket gate. I also bought a pair of rubber Crocs near the parking lot. They are comfortable and elastic, so I wore them during the next few days of driving. This is a must-have for hiking and wading in the scenic area. I highly recommend it! (20 yuan/pair)

In fact, for a mature scenic spot like Xiaoqikong, the tour route is basically a simple line. Just follow the guide signs (there are route maps on the tickets and even on the map), plus the shuttle bus, you can complete the tour smoothly, so I will try to introduce the key points here, and leave more unknowns for everyone to explore on their own. I believe that everyone's tour experience and feelings will be different. We entered from the west gate this time, and we should be able to see the beauty of Xiaoqikong in the last section. If we enter from the east gate, it is just the opposite. One advantage of entering from the west gate is that it is basically downhill along the way, which can indeed reduce a lot of pressure for most Guizhou attractions that require a test of foot strength.

The clear blue water of the river indicated that we might have good luck that day.

There are temporary stalls at the sightseeing bus transfer points along the way, where you can eat and drink to replenish your energy, or you can have lunch directly at the restaurant in the scenic area. After all, it takes at least a whole day to tour the scenic area in one go.

Most of my physical strength has been consumed, but in line with the principle of doing it in one go, I decided to finish the tour of the Seven Caves. From here, I only need to go to the east gate to take the shuttle bus.

I think Xiaoqikong Scenic Area is the most worthwhile scenic area to visit in Guizhou. It feels more cost-effective than Huangguoshu Waterfall Scenic Area (personal opinion). In fact, the Big and Small Qikong are at the entrance of the scenic area. You can choose which one to visit first at the sightseeing bus station. There are many introductions to beautiful scenery on the Internet. So I will talk about transportation to provide a reference for tourists. Take a bus from Huangguoshu Passenger Station to Anshun Railway Station. This bus passes through the railway station, the high-speed railway station, and the Anshun Passenger Station. Take the train to Mawei Railway Station and get off. There is a regular bus to the East Gate of Xiaoqikong. If you take a bus, you must ask if there is a direct bus (it does not depart every day). If there is no direct bus, you have to go to Guiyang Passenger East Station to reverse the bus, which costs more than 80 yuan per person than taking the train.

You need to take a scenic bus to visit Xiaoqikong. Our first stop was Xiaoqikong. I suggest you take the bus to the end and visit from top to bottom. It will be easier to walk downhill. The only thing that attracted me in the whole scenic area was the bridge. The green lake and the quaint and unique bridge left a different feeling in my heart!

Xiaoqikong is where the TV series "The Eternal Love 2" was filmed, so I was looking forward to it. My friends and I have both been to Jiuzhaigou. Although the scenery there is somewhat different, it is not bad either, and has its own characteristics. It takes half a day to complete the tour. The scenic area has separate sightseeing buses for individual tourists and tour groups. We enjoyed the treatment of chartering a bus. Because the tour route was different from that of the tour group, we fully enjoyed the good time of sightseeing and saw the beautiful scenery.

In the narrow valley 1.6 kilometers long upstream of Hanbitan, there are 68 waterfalls and cascades scattered along the high and low riverbed. Experts say that such a large number of dense waterfalls and cascades is rare in China.

The cascading waterfalls gurgle and cascade down, some are like pearls and jade, some are like snow and clouds, some are like silk and flowing, and some are like the Milky Way pouring down the ground. They are in various shapes and sizes, competing with each other for beauty, forming a dynamic waterscape with various styles, which makes people dazzled. Going up along the river valley with the cascade waterfalls, you can see the flowing water in the mountains, green trees and red flowers, and hear the sound of springs and waterfalls, the chirping of birds and the singing of insects. You will think of the story of the bosom friend Boya and Ziqi, and feel that the scene is full of poetry and beauty. Therefore, it was given the elegant name of "the bosom friend valley" by literati and poets.

After appreciating the Xiaoqikong Ancient Bridge, we continued along the way, and the beautiful scenery continued one after another. It was simply too beautiful to be taken in, better than Jiuzhaigou. The difference from Jiuzhaigou last year is that if Jiuzhaigou is called a masterpiece of water, then Xiaoqikong can be called a small jade, with more tranquility. I won't give too many spoilers about the attractions. You can go from east to west or from west to east, depending on which gate you live in. There is also a scenic spot called Yuanyang Lake. Remember to row a boat, it is very beautiful inside. It probably takes more than 6 hours to play Xiaoqikong for non-photo enthusiasts, and a madman can do it in one day.

You must buy a sightseeing bus!!! Because the scenic spot is so big!!!

Careful friends may find that although both the big and small seven holes are beautiful, they do not have the same distinctive feature. The big seven holes are majestic, while the small seven holes are beautiful.

You need to walk and take a sightseeing bus to get between the scenic spots in Xiaoqikong. It's also good, a combination of work and rest. You must prepare your own food, because only the water forest sells raw cucumbers among the scenic spots. There is also a simple supermarket near Yuanyang Lake (where we ate instant noodles), and a few local residents set up stalls to sell small fried fish and sweet potatoes.

The Big and Small Seven-holes are combined tickets. One ticket can enter the scenic area for two consecutive days. The ticket is swiped on the first day, and the ID card is swiped on the second day. Before departure, I thought that the Big and Small Seven-holes were a scenic spot, but later I found out that there were Big Seven-holes and Small Seven-holes. A casual shot is a beautiful scene, as if you have arrived at the elf land of the Lord of the Rings. Because it is entered from the west gate, the first stop is Wolongtan, where the water is blue and competes with the blue sky. Strolling along the river, you can see flying springs and hear gurgling. Many scenes were not taken on rainy days. This is a primitive wonder that integrates mountains, water, forests, caves, lakes and waterfalls. It is necessary to take a sightseeing bus because the scenic area is very large and you can't walk through it in one day. Suggested tour time: 4-7 hours. This scene is only in heaven. Fortunately, it has landed on the earth.

We bought a combined ticket for Xiaoqikong Scenic Area and Daqikong Scenic Area, and a scenic bus ticket. If you don't want to be so tired, you still need to buy it. The first stop is Xiaoqikong Ancient Bridge. The river is quiet and it is a highlight of Xiaoqikong. Walking and looking, I sighed at the beauty of Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. From the intricately rooted Turtle Back Mountain, I slowly walked into the water forest interspersed with forests and streams. From Yuanyang Lake to the station, I saw only cruise ships. I turned around and went to the last stop, Wolongtan, and finally arrived at the quiet and deep Wolongtan.

There are scenic sightseeing buses in Xiaoqikong. Each scenic spot will stop. After getting off the bus, there are signs to follow. After visiting a small scenic spot, take the sightseeing bus to the next scenic spot. We played from front to back. The first stop was the Xiaoqikong Ancient Bridge. It was so beautiful to see the emerald green lake. The fruits in Guizhou are really beautiful. We went upstream and passed the Laya Waterfall in turn. Although it was a bit tiring to go upstream, the scenery was very good. I recommend everyone to go this way. The next stop was Wolongtan. Unlike the previous big waterfall, the waterfall here is like a trickling stream, and it is also super beautiful! It is said that Xiaoqikong is like a green ribbon quietly spread on the land of Guizhou. You can only experience this feeling when you see it with your own eyes. It is wonderful.

The ticket for the Big and Small Seven-hole Scenic Area is a package ticket. You can enter and exit freely within two days. The ticket is 110 yuan plus a 40 yuan scenic car. Ticket sales stop at 3:30 and entry to the park stops at 4 o'clock. The Small Seven-hole Scenic Area is 18 kilometers long. There are scenic cars between each scenic spot, which greatly facilitates tourists. It is said that there are more than 12,000 negative oxygen ions per cubic meter of air here. It is really intoxicating. It is a journey to clean the lungs. I breathe in big mouthfuls and wish I could pack a few sacks and take them home. What's interesting is that we entered the park too late. The staff was afraid that we would not be able to finish the Small Seven-hole. From time to time, they heard from their intercoms, "Six tourists are coming, hurry up and send them to the next attraction in a small car!" Libo Xiaoqikong: Xiaoqikong Scenic Area is fascinating with its natural landscapes such as waterfalls, primeval forests and lakes. The main attractions include Tonggu Bridge, Xiaoqikong Ancient Bridge, 68-level waterfall, Laya Waterfall, Cuigu Waterfall, Water Forest, Turtle Back Mountain, Yuanyang Lake, Tianzhong Cave, Wolongtan, etc., which constitute the charming karst scenery. Strolling along the river, you can see the flying springs and hear the gurgling water. The scenic area is in a narrow valley with a width of only 1 km and a length of 12 km. It integrates caves, forests, lakes, waterfalls, rocks and water. It is exquisite and beautiful, making people linger.

I personally think that the scenic area services and various charges are very complete and fair. There is a self-service luggage storage (free) in the scenic area service hall, which can be scanned by WeChat, which is very convenient. The larger ones can hold small boxes and large luggage bags (not many), and the smaller ones can hold small luggage bags or other items. After storing the luggage, you will have to walk a distance after entering the scenic area to reach the sightseeing bus location. I think Xiaoqikong Scenic Area is one of the most beautiful scenic spots in Yunnan. It is located in the southern peaks of Libo County. It is famous for the seven-hole ancient stone bridge built in the 15th year of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty (1835). In the long valley, it integrates mountains, water, caves, forests, waterfalls, lakes, and stones. It is a wonder in the karst landform and is known as the "super bonsai". The main landscapes include Xiaoqikong Bridge, Laya Waterfall, 68-level Waterfall, Broken Bridge Waterfall, Tonggu Bridge, Water Forest, Cuigu Waterfall, Tianzhong Cave, Yuanyang Lake, Wolongtan, etc. Each landscape is unique.

Xiaoqikong Scenic Area is located next to Mengliu Folk Town, Libo County, Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province. It is among the peaks more than 30 kilometers south of Libo County, 5 kilometers away from Daqikong Scenic Area, and the total length of the scenic area is 7 kilometers. In Xiaoqikong Scenic Area, a seven-hole arch bridge made of bluestone spans the Xiangshui River, so the "Xiaoqikong Scenic Area" is named. There are 21 scenic spots including Xiaoqikong Ancient Bridge, Laya Waterfall, 68-level waterfall, stone forest, wild boar forest, water forest, Tianzhong Cave, Wolongtan, Yuanyang Lake, etc. Xiaoqikong Scenic Area has been named a national nature reserve, a national scenic spot, a national 5A tourist attraction and other honorary titles. This is some information about the park. Combined with my personal experience, I highly recommend traveling to Xiaoqikong, Libo. Friends who visit Guizhou should not miss this attraction.

Xiaoqikong Scenic Area is another focus of Guizhou tourism. It is known as the emerald on the belt of the earth. It has a waterscape comparable to Jiuzhaigou. It can be said to be one of the must-see attractions in Guizhou tourism. It takes about 40 minutes to drive from Libo County to the scenic area. The road conditions are very good and there are not many cars. Xiaoqikong Scenic Area is relatively large. If you want to visit it, it will take a whole day, but we have limited time, so we only selected a few highly rated attractions. There is controversy online about whether to go up or down (enter from the east gate or the west gate). I personally think it is better to visit from the east gate, because the 68-level waterfall is still better from an upward angle. In addition, the buses from the county town also stop at the east gate. At the gate, the staff will carefully check the nucleic acid test report. Don't be lucky. If you don't have it, you really can't get in. I saw with my own eyes that tourists from Shanghai were turned away because they didn't have a test report. The ticket is valid for two days, including the two scenic spots of Daqikong and Xiaoqikong. Walk from the gate to the shuttle bus stop. On the left is Xiaoqikong and on the right is Daqikong Scenic Area. I have to say that the service in Xiaoqikong Scenic Area is still very good, and due to the epidemic situation, there are not many tourists, so it is very comfortable to walk and stroll. Although we visited the scenic area twice, we only visited a few major attractions. We really didn't have time to visit attractions such as Tianzhong Cave and Yuanyang Lake, so we will explore them next time.

If you stay at Zhuyuan Hotel, you can also go to the Big Seven-hole Cave on the third day. The Small Seven-hole Cave requires a ticket and a bus, so it can only be visited within 2 days. The Big and Small Seven-hole Caves scenic area can be visited in a whole day. The Small Seven-hole Cave scenic area is relatively large and it is estimated that it will take 3-4 hours to visit.

The most attractive thing about Libo is Xiaoqikong. Many people travel thousands of miles to this remote place to see this fairyland on earth. I saw a travel short video saying that if there is only one chance to appreciate mountains and rivers in this life, leave it to Libo. The mountains are like eyebrows and the water is like eyes. I give this copy 120 points. It is really fascinating.

We arrived at the landmark of Xiaoqikong, which is the Xiaoqikong Bridge. People crossing the bridge is naturally a kind of scenery. I stayed here for a long time, constantly taking various photography angles and adjusting the filter of the SLR. I feel that the Xiaoqikong Bridge does have a unique humanistic and natural beauty, especially when there are few people, you can take a series of portrait photos.

The Xiaoqikong scenic area includes: Xiaoqikong Ancient Bridge (East Gate), 68-level waterfall, Laya Waterfall, Xiangshui Waterfall, Stone Forest, Tianzhong Cave, Turtle Back Mountain, Zhiyin Valley, Water Forest, Cuigu Waterfall, Yuanyang Lake, Wolong Valley Rafting, Wolong Pond (West Gate). The Daqikong scenic area includes: Tianshen Canyon, Tiansheng Bridge, Daqikong Ancient Bridge, Demon Wind Cave, Horror Gorge, and Dream Pond.

I took the first bus to the east gate of the Big and Small Seven-hole Caves Scenic Area early in the morning. I waited with many individual tourists before the gate opened. The tour group had not arrived yet. The scenic area was very comfortable. My strategy was Seven-hole Bridge → Waterfall Group → Cui Valley Waterfall → Wolongtan, etc. Everyone said that you can go all the way down the mountain to Wolongtan first. In fact, I think the waterfall group is the most beautiful landscape of the Small Seven-hole Caves, and Wolongtan/Waterfall is very ordinary. The so-called up and down the mountain road is less than 50 wooden steps, and they are scattered on a few kilometers of roads. Walking two squares, there is a large flat land. There is no pressure at all. I entered the park early, the weather was cool, and contrary to the mainstream route, there were only 5 people in the first battery car to the Seven-hole Bridge, and there were few individual tourists. I could shout loudly that the Small Seven-hole Caves was contracted by me.

Regarding the Big Qikong and the Small Qikong, I prefer the Small Qikong. In the words of my friend from Guizhou, at the Small Qikong, "wherever you go you will feel that this is a blessing from nature."

One-day sightseeing tour

First visit Xiaoqikong (enter from the east gate and exit from the east gate), Xiaoqikong Ancient Bridge - Laya Waterfall - 68-level waterfall - Water Forest - Cuigu Waterfall - Yuanyang Lake (you can go boating) - Wolongtan. Finally visit Daqikong: Horror Gorge - Natural Bridge - Demon Wind Cave. Daqikong has only one entrance and exit. It is recommended to walk on the way there and take a cruise on the way back.

Two-day hiking tour

On the first day, we entered Xiaoqikong from the west gate. The downhill road was less strenuous. We visited Wolongtan, Yuanyang Lake, Cuigu Waterfall, Water Forest, 68-level waterfall, Laya Waterfall and Xiaoqikong Ancient Bridge in turn (the opposite of the one-day tour route).

On the second day, we visited the Big Seven Caves: Horror Gorge - Natural Bridge - Demon Wind Cave.

There are many small scenic spots in Xiaoqikong Scenic Area, and the scenery is completely different. We went to Wolongtan first, and then to Cuigu Waterfall. Cuigu Waterfall is very beautiful, right in the middle of the mountains. There is also a Laya Waterfall.

Guizhou really has many waterfalls. Laya Waterfall is a super famous 69-level waterfall.

The order of scenic spots in Xiaoqikong Scenic Area from east to west is as follows (the reverse direction is also possible):

Xiaoqikong Ancient Bridge→Yala Waterfall→68-level waterfall→Water forest→Cuigu Waterfall→Shangjiding Wetland→Yuanyang Lake (cruise boat)→Tianzhong Cave (karst cave)→Wolongtan



1. The advantage of traveling from west to east is that it is "downhill all the way", which saves energy; and the west gate of Xiaoqikong is close to the exit of Libo Expressway; the disadvantage is that most tour groups usually travel from west to east, which is more crowded.

2. Traveling from east to west, it is uphill all the way. The disadvantage is that it takes a little energy. The advantage is that at some scenic spots (such as the 68-level waterfall), the view from bottom to top is better, and it is relatively off-peak from most tour groups.



When visiting the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area, it is recommended to wear a pair of waterproof and non-slip shoes, because only by playing in the shallows and streams can you better experience the fun of this scenic area. The Xiaoqikong Scenic Area is very large and requires 1 to 2 days to play.

Every scenic spot in Guizhou is super boring. I saw many promotions of Xiaoqikong on tourism public accounts, but I found that it is just a broken seven-hole bridge, with no aesthetic appeal and not worth the ticket price. The tolls on Guizhou highways are also super expensive, and most of my expenses in Guizhou are spent on tolls. Xiaoqikong is really the most disappointing of the top three 5A scenic spots. Such a boring attraction costs 150 yuan for a full ticket. Fortunately, I came when the tickets were free, otherwise I would regret it. I hope that the China National Tourism Administration will delist Xiaoqikong from 5A. It doesn't deserve it! The scenery inside is really the mountain and river bridges that can be seen everywhere outside. It's really speechless to circle it and sell tickets as a tourist attraction

During the epidemic, there are few people and the scenery is beautiful. Xiaoqikong deserves the reputation of "Green Belt". It is recommended that you enter from the east gate and go upstream, so that the scenery is more beautiful.

However, there is a section of the road that can only be walked. If you are with the elderly, it is recommended to go through the west gate.

Early in the morning, I had a few minutes to myself at the Xiaoqikong Wangu'ao Bridge. The dam built by Tonggu Bridge not far downstream raised the water level by five meters to form the Xiaoqikong today. Otherwise, the hole would be quite large and long. It is said that this is the main road to Guangxi. I wonder if my grandfather crossed this bridge and walked all the way to Baise when he followed the troops to the south to suppress bandits through Rongjiang in 1949.

The Xiaoqikong Scenic Area is dotted with various scenic spots along a small river. If you enter from the west gate, you will first visit the upstream scenic spot Wolongtan, and then visit the downstream scenic spots such as Yuanyang Lake, Water Forest, Water Stone Forest, and Xiaoqikong Ancient Bridge. After visiting the Xiaoqikong Ancient Bridge, the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area is basically over, and then you can take a car to the Daqikong Scenic Area. Among them, the section from the Water Stone Forest to the Xiaoqikong Ancient Bridge is a downhill section of about 1.5 kilometers. There is no transportation, so you need to walk to visit. There are also several waterfalls on this road. If you start from the Xiaoqikong Ancient Bridge to visit Wolongtan in the opposite direction, you have to walk 1.5 kilometers uphill in the middle. Those who have plenty of time and young people can also visit in this countercurrent direction.

It is very famous among the scenic spots in Guizhou, like a gem. The scenic area is divided into two gates, east and west! It takes at least one day to visit the seven-hole combined ticket! It is really big and the scenery is still good!

The ticket for the Big and Small Seven Arches in Libo is a package ticket, 120 yuan per person, and the sightseeing bus is bought separately, 40 yuan. It is best to buy it, which can save a lot of time. The Small Seven Arches is divided into the East Gate and the West Gate. Each gate has its own advantages. Going from the West Gate is all downhill, which is more energy-saving, but the tour groups basically go from the West Gate, and going from the East Gate is all uphill. I went from the East Gate, and I felt that the physical strength was okay. You can take a sightseeing bus between various attractions, and the most famous Small Seven Arches Ancient Bridge is close to the East Gate. If you go early in the morning, there will be fewer people. Even if you enter from the East Gate and want to start the tour from the West Gate, you can take a sightseeing bus directly to the West Gate.

The entrance is the Xiaoqikong Ancient Bridge. The water here is very dark in color. It is always uphill from the ancient bridge. There is a main road on the right side of the stream, and the small road on the left is the so-called Stone Forest. You can walk through the stone road in the stream, passing the Raya Waterfall and the 68-level waterfall in the middle. Arrive at the Water Forest Station at 9:30. This is a holy place for playing with water. The water flows through the cracks in the ground. Many children play in the water there. At 10:15, arrive at Cuigu Waterfall. This is the filming location of one of the episodes of "Going on an Adventure with Bear Grylls". The dense peaks are towering into the clouds. Because the vegetation is very lush, it is called Cuigu. Cuigu Waterfall is between two mountain tops. The waterfall gushes out from the pass near the mountain. The waterfall is a steep slope of 70 to 80 degrees. We didn't go to Tianzhong Cave because we had already been to many caves. We arrived at Yuanyang Lake at 11 o'clock. In fact, Yuanyang Lake is mainly for boating. If you don't want to take a boat, you don't have to go there. Go directly to Wolongtan. When you get here, you will meet a large number of tour groups coming in from the west gate. The color of the lake here is also very deep. The water flows down from the waterfall to form an arc shape, which is very beautiful. In general, the scenery of Xiaoqikong is very beautiful. There are scenery all the way down, which is very suitable for slow appreciation. At 12:20, we took a bus from the west gate back to the east gate. Considering the time, we didn't go to Daqikong. I heard that Xiaoqikong is for water viewing, and Daqikong is for mountain viewing. The scenery of Daqikong is more majestic, and you can take a bamboo raft directly from the east gate.

This is my favorite scenic spot in Guizhou, bar none! The beautiful scenery is refreshing, and no matter where you go, you feel like you are in a painting. The clear and slightly cool water made me linger, and I spent a full 10 hours there. The service of the scenic spot is even more commendable, with orderly docking and well-equipped service personnel. Even with a daily passenger flow of five digits, the toilets can still be fully stocked with hand sanitizer and paper towels. Thumbs up for the first-class software and hardware!

Libo Xiaoqikong, the most iconic 5A-level scenic spot in Guizhou and an important part of the China Southern Karst World Natural Heritage, is a must-visit place when visiting Guizhou.

Green mountains, green waters, lush forests, caves, green lakes, waterfalls, and unexpected small animals, all the elements you can think of about natural scenic spots can be found in Xiaoqikong, and they are all very beautiful. What is even more valuable is that in addition to its excellent hardware, Xiaoqikong also has strong soft power, and all the scenic area services are exemplary performances that a 5A-level scenic spot should have. For example, the scenic area has dense sightseeing buses and reasonable routes; guide maps and signboards can be seen everywhere, and the signs are clear; even the toilets in the scenic area, which are most easily criticized, are very clean... In short, after visiting so many places, Xiaoqikong can be called a benchmark 5A scenic spot with beautiful scenery and excellent services.

The scenic spots of Xiaoqikong are basically distributed linearly from east to west, so there are naturally two different options for visiting order: entering from the east and exiting from the west, or entering from the west and exiting from the east.

Compared with the two, the advantage of going in from the west and going out from the east is that it is downhill all the way, which is more labor-saving. But the disadvantage is also obvious, that is, if you go in the morning, the whole way is backlit, which is simply terrible for photography enthusiasts; in addition, many scenic spots require you to look back, which is also very unpleasant.

It is still more recommended to enter from the east and exit from the west - first of all, there will be smooth light all the way, and for many waterfall-like landscapes, it is more natural to look up from a low place, avoiding the embarrassment of having to look back from time to time; secondly, the most iconic landscape of Xiaoqikong, Wolongtan, is located at the westernmost end of the scenic area. If you enter from the east gate, it will naturally become the finale, but if you enter from the west gate, it will be like watching a suspense movie, with the suspense and the bottom card revealed from the beginning; in addition, many people worry about the problem of physical exhaustion from climbing all the way, but after personal testing, they found that there are very gentle steps or trails along the way, and the slope can be ignored, so there is no need to worry at all; finally, it is said that tour groups usually take a bus directly from the east gate to the west gate, and then visit from the west gate back, so you know.

Xiaoqikong Scenic Area is so large that you can't get around it by foot alone, so the scenic area has arranged a considerable number of sightseeing buses. The sightseeing bus ticket is 40 yuan, which is included in the 170 yuan pass. Each scenic spot is equipped with a waiting point, the departure frequency is very high, and there are rough explanations on the bus, which is quite humane.

Of course, although it is not realistic to walk the entire way, it is still very enjoyable to choose to walk for a while and appreciate the scenery along the way. For example, there is a complete trail from the Water Forest to Wolongtan. Along the way, you can listen to the gurgling water, the crisp birdsong, and breathe the purest air of nature. It is so beautiful.

It takes too long to walk from the parking lot to the ticket office, but the scenery is really beautiful. The scenic area has two gates, the east gate and the west gate. The east gate is close to Xiaoqikong. If time is limited, you can go from the east gate and see the nearest Xiaoqikong Bridge first. However, if you have enough time, it is recommended to enter from the west gate and finally go to Xiaoqikong, especially in the afternoon when the park is about to close. There are not so many people, and you can take pictures of Xiaoqikong without people on the bridge. However, if you want to see the beautiful Xiaoqikong, you must go when it is sunny. The color of the water will look very beautiful in the sun. If you have the energy and time, both the Water Forest and the Stone Forest are recommended. You can wade in the water in the Water Forest. If you don’t wear slippers, you can buy them in the shopping street from the parking lot to the ticket office. If you don’t want to wade in the water, ordinary shoes can also hold up, just don’t walk in places with a lot of water.

Libo Xiaoqikong is a national AAAAA-level scenic spot and a world natural heritage site. It is located in the southwest of Libo County, Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province, 28 kilometers away from the county seat. At the north end of the scenic spot is an ancient Xiaoqikong Bridge built in the 15th year of Daoguang (1836), from which the scenic spot got its name.

People say that Libo is the emerald on the earth's belt, but I personally prefer the shining pearl Jiuzhaigou.

If you want to go back to Xiaoqikong Town, take the sightseeing bus back to the west gate at the last scenic spot, and don't leave the scenic area. It's a bloody lesson. The scenery of Daqikong is also good, it's a big canyon. It's a pity that the best part of Yaofeng Cave is not open.

This is really my favorite scenic spot. It's really beautiful. It's a pity that I only went to Xiaoqikong and didn't go to Shangdaqikong due to limited time. The water is really beautiful. There are tour buses at each stop in the scenic area, which is very convenient. I will go there again if I have the opportunity to go to Guizhou in the future.

After arriving in Guiyang, we headed straight to Libo. This small county town located at the junction of Guizhou and Guangxi has a famous scenic spot called Xiaoqikong, which has one of the most beautiful waterscapes in China. The water exudes a gem-like blue, and there are beautiful green plants in the clear water. It is simply beautiful:) There are waterfalls everywhere in the scenic area, as well as fun water forests and the famous Xiaoqikong Bridge. The emerald lake water is really fascinating. However, although I saw the beautiful Xiaoqikong during the flood season, I unfortunately got a heat stroke. The sun was scorching, the air was sticky and humid, and the mosquitoes were overbearing. It is really not suitable for northerners.

I brought my parents, who were of free admission age, into the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area at 9:30 and took the scenic area bus out at 18:30. I was very satisfied!

The route is uphill from east to west, so the first stop is 1.6km from Tonggu Bridge to Shishang Forest, which took 2 hours to walk. The main attractions are the Xiaoqikong Bridge along the Xiangshui River and various waterfalls (68 levels, etc.).

The entire Stone Forest is 1.2km long, and it is said that it takes half a day to play. Referring to the previous 1.6km which took 2 hours, we did not go.

We took the bus to the next stop: Guibeishan Station, which is actually a service station. There is a small supermarket selling instant noodles, drinks, and biscuits, and a small restaurant selling paper bamboo tube rice, rice with toppings, cold noodles, etc. (We set off again at 12:45 after lunch and a short rest.)

The entrance to the lower section of the Water Forest is just a short walk from Guibeishan Station. The Water Forest is an interesting place where you can walk through the flowing water on a stone path.

Exit from the upper section of the Water Forest and take the bus to the next stop, Cui Valley Waterfall, where you can take photos.

We took the local bus to Yuanyang Lake (around 15:00) and rowed a boat to explore the water maze. This place is in sharp contrast to the gurgling water of Xiangshui River. The water of Yuanyang Lake is emerald green and calm, with occasional wild ducks playing freely on the lake. It is very peaceful and tranquil. And the hand paddling also brought us a lot of fun.

Next, we skipped Tianzhong Cave and took a bus directly to the last stop, Wolongtan (about 16:15). After taking some photos, we started rafting. The rafting canvas raft is very light, and two people on each side can slide forward with a bamboo pole. Moreover, we had the experience of paddling before, so we were very good at sliding. The rafting was 2km in total, with quiet green water and valleys, and 3 small exciting slides (you will get wet!), and a sudden light rain, which was very interesting!

After drifting ashore, a bus took the last few boat passengers back to Wolongtan Station.

It was already 18:30. I calculated that I had spent a full 9 hours with my parents, who were of free admission age, in the scenic area. It was such a joy!

The tourist service of Xiaoqikong, especially the sightseeing bus, is quite good. We were almost the last bus on the way back from the West Gate to the East Gate. We took several tourists who couldn't walk along the way. We stopped as soon as we waved and took everyone back to the East Gate exit, which saved us a lot of walking!

The Seven-Arch Bridge is regarded as a bridge of loyalty. Legend has it that a couple in love fled under pressure and passed by here, unable to cross the river. They met seven kind fairies who turned into a stone bridge and let them cross the river, but the condition was that they would age one year with every step they took. For the sake of love, the couple held hands and crossed the river, growing old together without any regrets.
