Except for some old city walls and ancient buildings in the East Gate, all other parts and buildings in the ancient city are newly built antique buildings. There is no interest at all.

I went there on Saturday, November 18th. It was quite desolate. Many places were closed. The city gate tower, Guandi Temple, and Confucian Temple were all locked. Most of the shops were also closed. I especially recommend a dumpling restaurant near the North Gate. It was so comfortable to eat a plate of hot dumplings for 20 yuan in the middle of winter!

Luanzhou Ancient City wants to build a style of small bridges and flowing water in Jiangnan, but it lacks folk culture and regional characteristics. I heard about it a long time ago and took a look on the way to Beidaihe. Remember not to come here on purpose, you will be very disappointed. After getting off the highway and entering Luan County, there are large trucks along the way, dust flying, serious traffic jams, and extremely poor road conditions. There is really nothing to play, see, or visit here, and it's a waste of highway fees. The commercialization here is too strong. I only got off the car and looked for more than 10 minutes and left. I will never come again. The name is loud and nice, but it's too bad. Some comments say it's good and there's nothing wrong with it. Maybe they haven't seen the ancient city of Jiangnan. The photo is so impressive, it really proves the saying: Hearing is worse than seeing.

The public bicycles are parked in a mess, and there are vendors selling all kinds of food everywhere on the roadside. A row of antique buildings sell things from all over the country, and going down is the Burmese Jade and Jewelry Street. It takes less than three hours to walk through the whole ancient city. It is difficult to find a place to take photos that makes people feel satisfied, because many scenic spots or places that seem good at first glance often have randomly discarded garbage or eye-catching modern facilities in the corners. Whether it is the sunshades used by barbecue restaurants on the riverside of the ancient town to let tourists who eat barbecue cool off but cover the entire river bank, or the black-sailed boats on the river that allow people to sit around the city and feel the ancient atmosphere, they are matched with blue iron sheets, which makes them look a bit funny. In addition, all the merchants play various kinds of songs that are popular on the street, and the noisy sounds fill the road. Coupled with the crowded crowd, I originally planned to take a good walk and just wanted to end the tour of this ancient town as soon as possible, so I just hurriedly walked around the ancient town and left. But in general, despite these shortcomings, many places in Luanxian Ancient City can still give people surprises. It is also precious to have such a gentle and delicate small water town in the north. There is a rectangular river in the ancient city. There is a food street on the south side of the river. There are not too many people on the food street in broad daylight, but you can see all kinds of signs left after the noise. There is a tower on the east side of the river. Going east is a square. I don't know if it should be a bell tower or a drum tower in the middle. There are Confucian Temple and Guandi Temple on the north and south sides. There is also a Xiao Empress Temple next to the Confucian Temple. I think this should be a feature of Luanzhou, but it is not well built. Going east and walking through a row of shops, you will reach the gate of Luanzhou Ancient City. The city gate is still very impressive, but it is said that it is currently under maintenance and cannot be climbed. We walked around the river in the city and felt that the riverside in the north was quiet and had more ancient city charm, while the south was more for entertainment. There are boats in the river that can go around the river for 40 per person, but we didn't take them. It feels like the ancient city is still under construction. For example, a building is still being built on the north side of the road leading to the city gate, and there is a tourist attraction called Khitan Camp in the north of the city that has not yet opened and is under repair.

I went there for three days during the May Day holiday. Luanzhou Ancient City is located in Luan County, Tangshan City. It is an artificial ancient city. Although it was May Day, there were not many people. You can take a cruise in the city to enjoy the night view. At night, the riverside was full of tourists eating skewers. The first night I arrived there was April 29th, and the short holiday had not started yet, so there were very few people. I guess there wouldn't be too many people on weekdays. To be honest, the shops in the ancient city are not very distinctive. It's good to relax without rushing to the attractions. Not far from the ancient city, you can climb Yanshan at night. There is a tower whose name I forgot. The lights are very beautiful at night. You can also go to Dajue Temple. The consumption level here is relatively low, and the expenses are not too large. Friends from Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei Province who are close to it are still good to drive here during the short holiday!

Among the Jiangnan-style ancient cities in the north, this one is considered to have a relatively large scale and better scenery. If you have not been to Lijiang Ancient City or Jiangnan Ancient Town, it is still worth a visit.

Luanzhou Ancient City, located in Luan County, Tangshan, Hebei, has antique-style buildings. It can be regarded as a prosperous ancient city on the banks of a three-thousand-year-old river. In the ancient city, there are small bridges and flowing water, blue bricks and gray tiles. The Qinglong River, a circular water system, is used as the national cultural axis to show the diversity of the "river" culture. Although it is not as beautiful as the south of the Yangtze River, it is not as irritating as the north. Walking in the ancient city, the sun is warm and the spring breeze is blowing. The night view of the ancient city is quite good, and the commercial atmosphere is relatively strong. In summer, it is the best choice to choose to eat skewers on both sides of the river. Outside the east city wall is the Luanhe Mother Square, a good place to relax and cool off at night. The transportation is very convenient. You can choose to take a train from Beijing, which takes two hours to arrive, and the bus stops outside the city wall. I will go there again if I have a chance. Recommended!

We went there in the off-season, so there were basically no tourists and no businesses were open. We rowed a boat for 40 yuan per person, went around the ancient city, and then went to a milk tea shop to have a hot drink and rest. The ancient city lacked a bit of atmosphere because there were few people. It is better to go there in the evening or during a short holiday.

We went here on a trip, probably on May Day, there were a lot of people, a bit of Jiangnan style, good environment, usually there are performances at night, you can watch. The food is special is barbecue, it is recommended to eat on both sides of the river, one of the barbecues called Xiaoshixiao is almost full, there is no place, but if you have time, you can try it, you must be in the position on the river bank. It is a good choice to visit here at night.

The commercial atmosphere is serious. It is a modern imitation ancient village like Gubei Water Town, but the scenery and overall planning are far different from Gubei Water Town. The town is full of small commodity stores, and most of the restaurants are barbecue, stir-fry and grilled skewers. There is no ancient town atmosphere.

The night view is OK, but there is really nothing to do in the ancient city. It is recommended to play for half a day.

The overall building is good and will be further developed in the future. Many courtyard houses are for sale, but there are not many special snacks, only barbecue and so on.

Although it is not as good as the water towns in the south of the Yangtze River, it is rare to see such an ancient city in the north. It does not have the vicissitudes of history, but it also has its own charm.

We went there in winter, but I personally feel that it is better to go there in spring when the flowers are blooming!
