Nuanquan Ancient Town

It is a typical Ming Dynasty castle building with a tower-style structure. The springs, ancient buildings and folk culture are its characteristics. It is known as the "No. 1 Folk Castle in China".
There are more than 180 ancient residential buildings in the ancient town, including courtyards of wealthy families, ancient theaters, temples, etc. Among them, Nuanquan Academy is very famous in history.
The most exciting performance in the town is the tree-flowering performance, which has a history of more than 300 years. Iron is burned into molten iron and then hit on the city wall to create a spectacular "fire tree and silver flower".
The town's Beimen Wengcheng is the filming location for the movie "Let the Bullets Fly". There are also special song and dance performances about local folk customs, which are very exciting.

Nuanquan Ancient Town is located in the west of Wei County, Hebei Province. It was built in the Yuan Dynasty. During the heyday of Ming and Qing Dynasties, three forts, six lanes and eighteen villages were formed. The town is rich in cultural relics, including the West Ancient Fort and Huayan Temple, which are national key cultural relics protection units, and Nuanquan Academy, Beiguan Fort, Han Tombs, and Ancient Porcelain Kilns, which are county-level key cultural relics protection units. Historical and cultural relics include the Lantern Festival, folk paper-cutting, paper-carving art and various community performances. The villages, forts, streets and columns in the ancient town are well preserved, and the urn city, fort gatehouse, fort wall, fort moat, theater, archway and courtyard are well preserved. There are ancient buildings such as pavilions, platforms, towers and pavilions everywhere. The ancient houses in the town have a reasonable layout and exquisite materials, blue bricks and gray tiles, wooden doors and windows, oil decorations and paintings, clear foundation stones, and large hip-and-gable roofs. The courtyards are majestic and tall, with a dazzling array of brick, wood and stone carvings, especially the exquisitely carved ancient courtyard gatehouses. After hundreds of years of wind and rain, although it looks mottled, it is full of the simplicity and vicissitudes of history, all of which tell of the former prosperity and wealth of this place.

There are three forts in Nuanquan Ancient Town, Beiguan Fort, Zhongxiao Fort and Xigu Fort. Beiguan Fort is the largest one. It was built in the early Ming Dynasty and has a history of nearly 700 years. The tree-fighting flower originated here. There are no concentrated scenic spots in Xigu Fort here. In fact, there are no scenic spots. It is just like a quiet village. Zhongxiao Fort is the smallest fort. The road is very short. There is a large open space at the gate of the fort. In the distance is the glass tower that lights up at night. Next to Zhongxiao Fort is Xigu Fort, which I personally think is the most impressive fort. Xigu Fort, commonly known as "Zhaibao", was built during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty. There are two urn cities, ancient temples, ancient theaters, etc., which are well preserved. You can climb the city wall here, and there are many temples on it that enshrine various statues. You can also see the panoramic view of the street.

Nuanquan Ancient Town is located in the west of Wei County. It is a famous ancient town. There are three fortresses here, all built in the Ming Dynasty. The ancient town has attractions such as the Academy, Huayan Temple, and Laojun Temple. Many of the houses are worth seeing. The tree flower beating is a must-see.

As an ancient town, it has certain characteristics and relatively complete facilities. However, many small attractions are closed during the Spring Festival.

All the attractions have been closed since March 1st! I was so happy to drive there, but it was a waste of time.

Nuanquan Ancient Town is located in the west of Weixian County, Hebei Province, only 3 kilometers away from the border between Hebei and Shanxi Provinces. A provincial road leads to Guangling County, Shanxi Province. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was a must-go place for Shanxi merchants to do business in Zhangjiakou and the areas to the north. The ancient town has a long history and is famous for its springs, markets, ancient buildings and folk culture. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it developed into "three forts, six lanes, and eighteen villages", reaching the glorious period in the history of the town. The tree-flowering performance is a unique performance activity in the ancient town with a history of more than 300 years. It is to burn iron to 1500 degrees Celsius to become red-hot molten iron, and then hit it on the city wall to create a spectacular "fire tree and silver flower" landscape, which is very shocking.

In general, it has become more and more commercialized, and it is expected to become more and more serious, and it will lose its original charm!

The West Castle is not bad, just ignore the locals selling tickets at the door.

If you want to see the tree flowers, go there. Performance fee

If you just want to see the historical sites, forget it.

No tickets are required for the ancient town. No tickets are required for the ancient town. No tickets are required for the ancient town.

If you want to help the poor, that's another story...

The ruins of the ancient monument were later restored manually.

The ticket collection you do is all artificial commercial behavior

The alleys of the ancient town are a street for small businesses and vendors. It is recommended to bring your own water and food.

Once again, it is proven that poor mountains and bad waters produce unruly people. Reasonable!

I honestly don't recommend it! The management and planning of the scenic area is extremely poor.

By Xiaoqiang |

No pollution, blue sky and white clouds, ancient village, fresh air.

No need to buy a ticket! No need to buy a ticket! No need to buy a ticket!

1. You don't need to buy a ticket to visit the ancient town, only a few attractions require a ticket. Those who ask you to buy a ticket are misleading.

2. Most of the attractions on the ticket are not worth seeing. There are only two attractions that I think are well made.

3. The tree-flowering performance lasts about an hour and costs 180 yuan. I think it is worth seeing and is indeed spectacular.

4. The town itself is quite charming, but a bit too commercialized.

By SnowMan |

If you want to visit the ancient town tourist street, you can still take a look. The main purpose of coming here is to see the tree flowers. There are several folk museums and the filming locations of "Bright Sword". The infrastructure is not very complete, and the management of the ancient house is also very loose. You can go there with a few friends to shoot a small movie~ It's still okay

By Mama said |

Except for playing tree flowers, the others are rubbish. Playing tree flowers costs more than 100 yuan and only performs for 3 or 5 minutes. As for other stage plays, they are in the small town. Haha.

By YGrid |

I really like Nuanquan Ancient Town. The locals are simple and there are few tourists, which is very suitable for photographers to collect materials.

By Little Rabbit |

I went there just to see the tree flowers. It was not the Spring Festival, so there was no New Year atmosphere. But the ancient town is very good, with a sense of historical vicissitudes. I like this feeling very much. I want to say that the tree flowers are really beautiful! I sincerely admire these intangible cultural heritage inheritors!

By White Rabbit Luna |

There is nothing beautiful about the town, it is just a simple and rustic atmosphere! It was dusty and rainy on the day we went there, and there were mud spots all over our bodies and cars! I was very worried about whether the dried tofu and the like that were drying in the open air could be eaten with this muddy loess, and what would it taste like. The outdoor tree-flowering square in the ancient town was disgusting! The staff had a bad attitude and got physical! When entering the venue, it was clear that the QR code for swiping the ticket could not be swiped on the gate machine and people could not enter. It was a machine problem, but the staff was still anxious and asked us to wait. When other strangers swiped the code, they followed them and came in so close to the gate railing. Tourists were not willing to let people get so close! There was a manual channel and they refused to let us use it, and they refused to say that there was none! They also had an extremely bad attitude and said dirty things in their mouths. When we complained about our work attitude, they started to say that we had no quality! After scolding each other, a man came out to fight! He had already hit my family! He also went back to the duty room at the door to grab a weapon! What kind of staff are there in this kind of place? Have they been trained? All kinds of hooligans can come to watch the show? He came up and started fighting without any uniforms. The lady who was checking tickets at the door was standing there in an apron? Are you here to help out while you are cooking? The parking lot at the entrance of the square is also extremely chaotic. I don’t know where the people came from to block the road and direct people to park in the designated parking spaces. They asked for money before they parked. When the show was over, there was no one to maintain order. The small road at the entrance was in chaos and no one cared. They just occupied the road and collected the money and ran away, right? It really fits the old saying that poor mountains and bad waters produce unruly people! Just discredit yourselves! The tree flower beating was amazing at first sight, but it was nothing after that. The direction of the action was the same, but the frequency and amount of molten iron were different. There was no pattern to speak of.

There are the dirtiest public toilets in the world here... The people are very welcoming. But the disorderly planning and the hasty tourism management... will sooner or later ruin the so-called ancient town.

The sight of the tree flowers is very shocking. It is worth coming just for these three minutes. It will make you forget the inexplicable things during the day.

The local tofu is delicious, and there are also eight bowls, noodles, etc. The prices are basically moderate, and the general scenic area level

▼ Accommodation:

I personally do not recommend staying in Nuanquan Ancient Town, which is full of homestays and the conditions are obviously very average. I suggest staying in Weixian County. Because Weixian is not a tourist city, the accommodation is at the level of an average county town (generally a fast hotel costs about 100 yuan per night, you can search on China-TravelNote, XC, and QNE)

▼Shopping recommendations:

Weizhou rice series: Weizhou tribute rice, Weixian peach blossom millet, Weixian millet, etc. Among them, tribute rice is one of the "four major tribute rices" that have been paid tribute to the imperial court in successive dynasties in China.

Weizhou apricot series: Weizhou flat apricots, Weixian papaya dried apricots, Weixian kernel apricots, etc.

Paper-cutting: Weixian paper-cutting is also called window paper-cutting. It is the only kind of paper-cutting in China that is mainly intaglio and supplemented by relief. It has a history of more than 200 years. It is made of thin white paper, carved with a small and sharp carving knife, and then dotted with bright colors to form an ethereal and gorgeous work of art. It is known as "a beautiful symbol of the Chinese nation."

Others include Tang Ma Ye, Bada Wan, etc.

It is said that this place was originally named "Nuanquan" because of a spring with warm water all year round. Baidu Encyclopedia says that there are "three castles, six alleys and eighteen villages" here. The three castles are Beiguan Castle, Xigu Castle and Zhongxiao Castle.

Due to the development of the tourism industry, the ticket price for Xigubao is currently 120 yuan. Like many similar scenic spots, there is a representative performance. However, the performance in Nuanquan Ancient Town is not singing and dancing, but "beating tree flowers".

In the peak season, there are two performances of "tree-beating" a day. In the off-season, it seems that there is only one show on weekends. I am not sure about the whole news. But I did miss a show yesterday. If I had planned it earlier, I should have gone to Nuanquan Town yesterday and Weizhou City today.

On the south side of the town, a performance venue was built specifically for this purpose and was recently opened.

Before I came to Nuanquan Ancient Town in Wei County, I was completely attracted by the publicity of Nuanquan. The warm and pleasant sounding word "Nuanquan" also made me yearn for it for a long time.

The tree-flowering performance in Nuanquan Ancient Town, Wei County is wonderful and shocking. Although the 180 yuan ticket is a bit expensive, it is worth seeing.

The ticket to Nuanquan Ancient Town is 120 yuan, which I personally think is a bit outrageous, which is why I mentioned in the article that "there is a sense of unprotected fragmentation everywhere, which is a bit disappointing." If you enter the scenic area early in the morning, no one will collect the ticket.

The roads in the town are very narrow, and houses are being built everywhere. It should be a well-planned place now. Unfortunately, it rained and the roads were muddy. We didn't even have the courage to go out for a walk. The people here are very simple. We drove the wrong way and met three guys on motorcycles. They were very enthusiastic to lead the way for us. As the road was narrow and blocked by a donkey cart in front, we were always at the back. The guys on motorcycles saw that we couldn't keep up and came back to find us. We really met good people.

By Al limbo |

I really wanted to run away when I got here. When I got to the ancient town, I was chased and trapped and tricked into buying tickets. I found the most expensive accommodation. It looked like an ancient town from the outside, but the accommodation environment was really terrible. The towels and bedding were dirty, and the house smelled like a supermarket. I found the largest supermarket outside, but the things there were all expired and there were fakes. I really don't recommend coming here. It's just a big pit.

By Mi Xiaozhou loves traveling |

The most lively and popular ancient town around Weixian County is, of course, also the most commercialized, with each having its pros and cons.

By Tiger Liu |

The 120 yuan ticket is not worth it, and Nuanquan Academy charges an additional fee! There are many people at the door who take you in at half price, and they are simply chasing and blocking you. The management is chaotic! The ancient city is built in disorder and the protection is very poor, very poor! Whoever comes here will regret it!

By FF |

Overall, the folk custom of beating tree flowers is well developed and worth seeing. The square activities during the Spring Festival are also rich and attractive to tourists, but the infrastructure needs to be improved and the protection of cultural relics should be strengthened.

By Beautiful scenery along the way |

The birthplace of Dashuhua is not a big place and is especially lively during the Chinese New Year.

People usually go to Nuanquan Ancient Town to see the tree blossoms, which are indeed wonderful. However, Xigubao is also a relatively well-preserved ancient castle in the vicinity of Wei County, and it is worth a visit.

By Nana |

We went there on the eighth day of the Chinese New Year. We followed the route indicated by the navigation system, but the road was too difficult to walk on, and it was bumpy all the way like shaking coal balls. It might be because it was still the New Year before the fifteenth day of the first lunar month, so there were a lot of people in the town, shoulder to shoulder. There are many ancient houses preserved in the fort, which are simple and quaint. It's a pity that we didn't see the tree flower beating performance, which is said to be very spectacular and beautiful.

By Big Cool Tea |

It was still quite festive when I went there during the Chinese New Year, but I encountered many touts on the road. The town is too small and I finished it in half a day. I mainly came to see the tree flowers.

By Freezing Rain |

The village is still relatively primitive, but the tree-flowering performance is still very shocking!

Nuanquan Ancient Town is located in Weixian County, Zhangjiakou. It is famous for the intangible cultural heritage "tree flower beating". Indoor performances are held in winter and outdoor performances are held at other times. The streets in the ancient town are relatively narrow, so you need to be more careful when driving. The architectural style is more like that of Shanxi, a bit like Pingyao Ancient City, but the tourism construction and development is still in progress and is not as complete as Pingyao.

We entered early and didn't buy tickets. The ticket was 120 yuan per person, which was a bit not worth it. The paper-cutting in the town was not expensive. The smaller ones were 5 yuan each. You can buy them. I forgot what the snack was called, it was delicious and similar to jelly, 2 yuan a bowl.

By Be-Better |

The most famous classic in Nuanquan Ancient Town is probably the tree-flowering performance. The scene is really shocking and it is definitely worth the trip!

By How many times in this world |

The northern folk houses are nice, the ticket prices are negotiable, and they have an ancient charm.

By Ten thousand attraction |

By Not going anywhere |

The place is not big, it is a place where you can make movies, but it's a pity that the weather was not very good when I went there. The ancient town is quaint and there are not too many people.

By China-TravelNote users |

It's so boring!!! I came here because everyone said it was good, but I regretted it after coming here! I paid for the accommodation first and couldn't get a refund after I stayed there. I wasted 500 yuan here for nothing!!!

By eden |

The scenery is really average. I guess there would be nothing to see if there were no performances.

By Winter is over |

In the afternoon, there was a community fire performance in the town center square! Community fire is a traditional celebration carnival activity for the Chinese people to celebrate the Spring Festival. It is also a general name for high platforms, stilts, land boats, lion dances, dragon dances, yangko, etc. The specific forms vary greatly from region to region. This place is close to Datong, Shanxi, and follows more of the customs of Shanxi!

Intoxicated! Go to Nuanquan Ancient Town to celebrate the earthy Lantern Festival - to open up the childhood memories of time travel, to evoke the long-forgotten folk customs, and to listen to the town's silent narration of history in the thick traces of time. This experience is great!

By ~Tank~ |

The tree-flowering performance is a classic among classics. It is recommended to watch both indoor and outdoor performances. If you watch the stage play indoors, the tree-flowering performance outdoors is more spectacular.

By Having two children is too worrying |

On the afternoon of the third day of the Lunar New Year, we decided to set off on a whim. We arrived at Weixian County along G4 in about 3 hours. There was a traffic jam on the only road 10 kilometers away from Nuanquan Town. As it was getting dark, we turned around and stayed in the county town. We set off at 7 o'clock the next morning and had a smooth journey into the ancient town. There are many old buildings in the ancient town. You don't need to buy tickets to visit the town, but you do need to buy tickets to enter the ancient castle. There is a tunnel built in the Yuan Dynasty in the town. The birthplace of Dashuhua has also become a tourist attraction. We drove around the ticket office for Dashuhua performance twice before it started working. We exchanged the tickets we booked online for the show. Maybe the ticket price of 152 yuan is a bit expensive during the New Year. We took the free battery car in the scenic area to the Shuhua Theater, which is very close to the west entrance of the ancient castle. No one was checking tickets at this time. You should know that the ticket to enter the ancient castle is 80 yuan. Walking along the ancient street is basically There are old houses on the road. There are also farmhouses similar to those in the castle where you can stay. Walk out of the castle and come to the commercial street in the town. After lunch, buy some local specialties and return to the theater to watch the highlight of this trip. The one-hour performance only started with the tree blooming in the last 10 minutes. Although it was in an indoor theater, the effect was still shocking. It was much more beautiful than the fireworks in the city, which made people want more. I guess the outdoor performance should be better, but I can only wait until next time. After the show, I went straight home and arrived home at about 9:30 in the evening. The trip was 600 kilometers, and the cost of accommodation, meals and performances was 350 yuan per person, which should be said to be relatively affordable. Even if there was no tree blooming performance, it would be worth a trip. There are probably not many castles that are so well preserved. In short, the trip here is short in time and rich in content, so great!

By Fat Brother |

I went there in early January. Due to the stage equipment upgrade, the indoor tree-flowering performance was not open, which was a bit regrettable. But under the sunset, the ancient town with the snow-capped mountains as the background is full of the simplicity and vicissitudes of history. It is quite beautiful. Friends who like photography will definitely not regret it.

Nuanquan Ancient Town is in Weixian County, Hebei Province, which is actually the border with Shanxi Province. So if you want to go to Nuanquan, you must take the road beside the reservoir, otherwise you will be stuck for an hour by coal trucks! You don’t need a ticket to enter the West Castle in the off-season, but the various museums will not be open. There will also be no tree blossoms. You should ask last year. Otherwise, you will be disappointed.

The ancient northern villages are similar in many ways, with nothing much to see. The local people are quite simple and honest, which left a deep impression on me.

This attraction is not particularly recommended now, unless you are very interested in the ancient town architecture. The current warm spring water has dried up. After entering the West Castle, you can only look at the exterior. Most of the houses are inhabited by local residents. Although it is very original, there is really nothing to see. After coming out of the warm spring, going to Feihu Valley in Laiyuan is a recommended attraction.

Nuanquan Ancient Town is located in the west of Wei County, Hebei Province. It is a famous historical and cultural town in China and is now a national AAA-level tourist attraction. The ancient town is named "Nuanquan" because of the spring water with the same temperature all year round. The ancient town has a long history and is famous for its springs, markets, ancient buildings and folk culture. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it developed into "three forts, six lanes and eighteen villages", reaching the glorious period in the history of the town. The ancestors built three castles in the small Nuanquan Town, namely Beiguan Fort, Xigu Fort and Zhongxiao Fort, which shows the dual status of this town as a residence and military defense.

If it were five or six years ago, the "tree flower beating" in Nuanquan Town, Wei County, Hebei Province might have been quite novel.

The tree flower beating is a traditional folk cultural activity of the Han nationality in Nuanquan Town, Wei County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, and a "provincial intangible cultural heritage" of Hebei Province. This unique ancient festival fire has a history of more than 500 years. It is to pour molten iron on the ancient city wall, splashing and forming thousands of sparks. Because it looks like a lush tree crown, it is called "tree flower". Its spectacular degree is no less than setting off fireworks. Later, the custom of "tree flower beating" during the Lantern Festival in Nuanquan Town has continued to this day.

As more people went there, more photographers took photos. The photos were all pretty much the same (of course there were some amazing ones). I was even more amazed by the performers! Once, I was standing not far from the stage and saw a performer's trouser leg on fire. He then used his gloves to whip out the fire without taking it seriously....

From Beijing, take the Beijing-Tibet Expressway, then turn to the Zhangshi Expressway and drive towards Shijiazhuang, and exit the expressway from the Weixian exit.

There was no car on the Zhangshi Expressway at that time.

After getting off the expressway and driving along the national highway for a while, you will see some unknown adobe buildings on the roadside. You can park your car by the side of the road to take a look and take a stroll.

Five or six years have passed. Looking back at the photos, the sky was really blue!! If I see such a blue sky again, I have to get out of the car and breathe greedily...

After booking a room in Weixian County and having lunch, we drove to Nuanquan Town for a walk.

Nuanquan Town still has a "New Year's Day" atmosphere around the New Year.

The ticket price for the tree blossoming event in Nuanquan in 2011 was 100 yuan per person and 80 yuan for a group, so at the ticket office, many strangers formed groups on the spot.

After entering the scene, there was an hour-long cultural performance - it was so cold out in the open air that it would freeze people to death!

It was around 8pm after the show. The first time I went there, I returned to Weixian County to check in. The second time I went there to watch the tree flowers, I returned to Beijing overnight.

I personally feel it's just so-so. It was raining when I went there so no entrance fee was charged. It's just an ancient town with some castles. The ancient town does look very historic, but there are also many traces of artificial repairs, and it feels heavily commercialized. The castle also charges a fee, you can find a local to lead the way to the castle through a small path to save the entrance fee.

An ancient town with simple folk customs has started to charge admission fees. There is a ticket office at the entrance of the ancient town. The original price was 80 yuan, but it was charged 50 yuan due to maintenance. I went to the ancient town to take a look before buying a ticket. On the way to the West Castle, I asked an old man for directions. The kind old man took the initiative to lead the way, bypassing the gate and leading directly to the interior of the castle. The ancient streets are interspersed with modern buildings, but the scale of the buildings is very small. You can overlook the whole town by climbing the castle, and there are ancient earthen walls. The narrow streets are dotted with ancient houses. Don't dislike its oldness and dilapidation. It carries the vicissitudes of history and is still inhabited by residents of the ancient town. The most famous thing in the ancient town is the iron flower. The Iron Flower Square is just east of Beiguan Castle and is charged.

Nuanquan Ancient Town is a very cultural place, where tree flower beating is an intangible cultural heritage.

It is a very old town, the houses have kept their old appearance, and the streets are relatively clean. There was no water accumulation during the heavy rain on July 21 in Beijing. Local people said that although this is a drainage structure from a hundred years ago, the structure is very good and has not been affected at all. The ancient town under the sunset is full of vicissitudes, which reminds people of the hustle and bustle here in the past. I like it very much.

Weixian has nightlife, and that is the Nuanquan "tree flower" that has become famous in recent years. It is the same feeling as the fireworks formed by molten iron poured into the air. The scene is very good! Pot after pot of molten iron comes up and hits the city wall with a crackling sound. It feels different from fireworks and has a stronger sense of the scene. And it really feels like a traditional Chinese New Year. Don't miss it! It's just that the ticket price is a bit expensive. And it's better to have a car. Nuanquan Town is a certain distance away from Weixian County. It is recommended to eat some local dishes in a local small restaurant after watching the tree flowers at night. It is very farm-like and tastes good.

I went to see the tree flowers, but I couldn't buy tickets on the first day. The hotel accommodation cost at least 300-400 yuan, and the ticket cost another 400 yuan. Then I drove to a nearby county town to stay for only 100 yuan. On the second day, I bought tickets from a group and drove to see it. I saved a lot of money, but the place was hard to find.

One of the must-see attractions in Wei County, the Spring Festival is the peak tourist season for Nuanquan Ancient Town. The strong solar terms will remind you of the New Year in your childhood. While experiencing the rural New Year, you can also watch the unique tree flower show in Nuanquan. Remember to buy tickets in advance to ensure that you will not be disappointed.

When you arrive in Wei County, Nuanquan Town is one of the attractions you must visit. Its several ancient castles (also known as earthen walls) are all unique.

The main ones include Xigubao, Xiaozhongbao, Beiguanbao, Huayan Temple, etc. The tree-flowering activity is the biggest highlight.

The archway of Nuanquan Ancient Town, where the tree-flowering ceremony is held. If you live in the county town, park your car near the archway, otherwise it will be inconvenient to leave after the tree-flowering ceremony is over.

There was no water in the Buddha Mirror, it was just a very dirty semicircular dry pool. The Huayan Temple was under renovation so we were unable to visit.

There are many kinds of snacks in Nuanquan Town, and they are very cheap. Dried tofu, fried tofu, and vermicelli are local specialties. Friends who are particularly clean may be concerned about the hygiene conditions of snacks. It is also recommended that you bring your own food or choose food that you are confident in.

At noon, I went to the snack street to taste Nuanquan’s snacks, including dried tofu, Tuesday rice dumplings, and two kinds of vermicelli from Lao Zhang’s vermicelli. Their chili oil is delicious, so I brought back two cans.

I saw sheep being slaughtered in Nuanquan Ancient Town! They were covered in blood! Fresh mutton was 23 yuan per catty, about 10 yuan cheaper than in Beijing. I wanted to buy some to take home but I didn't dare to, because I can't forget the scene of the sheep being slaughtered.

After lunch, we will look for the warm spring in the town and visit Xigubao Village, which is known as the hometown of "ancient folk customs". We will personally experience the various ancient buildings of Ming and Qing dynasties, such as forts, temples, palaces, cities and towers, as if we were traveling through the long river of history. We will also watch the "opera" and experience the "lighting the bonfire" community fire activities.

As night falls in Nuanquan Town, the big red lanterns in the alleys become a unique scene, creating a festive atmosphere. Taste Weixian snacks, watch Nuanquan lanterns, and participate in lantern riddle guessing activities. At 7 pm, the unique three national intangible cultural heritage live performances of tree flower beating, lantern worship, and Qiao Yangge will be on stage at the same time, giving you a feast for the eyes!
