In the afternoon, we returned to Chifeng via Saihanba Forest Park. The colorful forests along the way were at their best viewing period. They were breathtakingly beautiful and provided a different visual feast.
Saihanba National Forest Park is the largest forest park in northern China. It is located in the Bashang area of Chengde City, Hebei Province. It was part of the "Mulan Hunting Ground", one of the famous royal hunting grounds in the Qing Dynasty. It is a national first-class tourist resource and a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction.
I often passed by here because I went horseback riding in Inner Mongolia in the early years. The scenery is beautiful, especially the woods in autumn, but the service in the tourist area is average
Saihanba Forest Park is extremely beautiful, especially when you climb up the Saihan Tower and look out, you will see the boundless grassland and forest organically integrated into one, and the blue sky and white clouds merged together.
From Chifeng to Wulanbutong Prairie, the shortest route according to navigation is to take the Siyu Line. We drove for four hours to the entrance of Saihanba Forest Park, but several staff members stopped us from passing through, saying that we had to buy tickets, 130 yuan per person. How can this be justified? Isn't this a bribe? The police came and said the same thing, and their attitude was bad. But in Wulanbutong Prairie, passing vehicles that do not stop in the scenic area are not charged. Compare them, you really lost face for Hebei!
Saihanba Grassland truly embodies the beauty of its original ecology. When I was a child, I always heard about planting trees to educate people. The result of the hard work of three generations of people in Saihanba is the creation of the world's largest artificial forest. The Chinese are the most beautiful.
"Saihan" is Mongolian, meaning "beautiful"; "Ba" is Chinese, meaning "high mountain". During the Liao and Jin dynasties in my country, Saihanba was known as the "Thousand Miles of Pine Forest" and was once used as a hunting ground for the emperor. I have been here many times since I was a child, but each time I called it Shangba. The process of driving from the bottom to the top is also the process of starting to feast your eyes!
I just went there during the Dragon Boat Festival. All the scenic spots in the scenic area were closed for construction. I could only see the scenery along the way. The information on China-TravelNote is inaccurate. I will not use China-TravelNote anymore and will uninstall it decisively! !
Moon Lake is like the Eye of God in Saihanba.
The scenery is first-class and free. I hope it can be protected better and better.
It is indeed a photography paradise, the scenery is absolutely beautiful.
In the golden autumn of October, the scenery is picturesque, with yellow, red, white, green and colorful
It's OK. The grassland is still beautiful... It was cold at night and it rained during the day. Fortunately, I saw a rainbow on the grassland.
See the grassland in Wulanbutong and the artificial forest in Saihanba. After learning about the deeds of the pioneers of Saihanba, I went to Saihanba again and felt that it was even more beautiful and miraculous!
The scenic area is very large, with forests, grasslands, wetlands and lakes. It is very cool and is a summer resort.
It was cloudy and rainy, and Qixing Lake was closed. I just drove around for a long time. Fortunately, it was not as attractive as some of the pictures I saw on China-TravelNote.
The scenery in summer, autumn and winter is beautiful, but the service in the scenic area needs to be strengthened.
The scenery of Saihanba in autumn is really stunning, with golden larch, blue Qixing Lake, red maple leaves, white birch forests, layer upon layer, and the inky black road, forming a natural Chinese painting.
I really like this place, Saihanba National Forest Park Yudaokou
This place used to be a vast wasteland, with water running dry and the land barren and desolate. In 1962, the Ministry of Forestry established a mechanical forest farm here. Over the past 56 years, generations of Saihanba people have worked hard to grow seedlings and plant trees. In this high-altitude and cold area with an average altitude of 1,500 meters, an average annual temperature of -1.4 degrees, and a minimum temperature of over -43 degrees, they have successfully built the largest artificial forest farm in the Northern Hemisphere with a total forest area of 1.12 million mu. Now it has become a treasure land that blocks sand sources for Beijing, contains water sources for Liaoning and Tianjin, and increases resources for Hebei. "Hundreds of flowers bloom in spring and are fragrant, the scorching sun brings cool shade in summer, the fruits are abundant in autumn and the weather is cool, the branches and leaves are lush and it is a hotbed in winter."
In the golden autumn, the forests of Saihanba Mechanical Forest Farm are dyed with various strong colors competing for beauty. Against the backdrop of the blue sky, they look like highly saturated oil paintings.
Before I left, I saw a lot of negative reviews on China-TravelNote, which made me feel a little disappointed. But...
Many people say that the local people are tough, and I was also worried before I went there. After I went there and talked to the locals, they said that the grass in Wulanbutong is owned by the herdsmen, who use it to graze sheep and cattle. Many people drive their cars on people's lawns, crushing the grass. There is not enough grass to eat, and they have to buy more. Driving recklessly will make the herdsmen hate you. No one is a bad person from the beginning.
I went there on October 13th. Some scenic spots were closed, but they didn't charge entrance fees. Neither Wulanbutong nor Saihanba charged entrance fees, which saved me about 250 yuan per person. The scenery was okay, so I went there for a day and hired a driver + car. He was from Weichang, and the 7-seater car was very suitable. I searched many phone numbers in the forum, but none of them offered the same price as him. I was very worried before I went there, but after I went there, I found that he was a nice person. He arranged for us from 6 am to 9 pm. It was very good. We took the train to Siheyong, and he came to pick us up and took us to breakfast and lamb chops for dinner. They were all very good restaurants, all in Weichang County. His phone number: 18730425000. Anyway, I'm not advertising, you can try it haha. Then I haven't taken a sleeper for a long time, and it's uncomfortable. It would be great if there were bullet trains~
Because I went with my friends, 5 of us, and we had a lot of fun.
I think as long as you are with the right person, you will be happy wherever you go. The scenery of a scenic spot is like my star rating. Everyone has different opinions. I think the trip was not wasted, but it was not amazing.
If you want to know the price: 7-seater, about 600-800, depending on where you go and the mileage.
The lamb chop meal: It tasted good, but the lamb chops were small. We had barbecue and beer, and the cost for 6 people was 420, which was not expensive.
All in all, it’s about 500 per person, including taking the train, chartering a car, riding a horse, and eating.
Horse riding: 40 minutes, about 80 yuan. The horses we rode were really good. The horses were good.
The autumn in Saihanba is more beautiful. In summer, you should go to Wulanbutong to see the prairie! Be prepared to be ripped off if you go there during the National Day holiday! The best season is still September, when everything is golden and beautiful.
I drove through and I thought the autumn scenery was very nice.
A natural oxygen bar, but the temperature difference is too big, I woke up from the cold at night
Apart from the Seven-Star Lake, the rest of Saihanba is not worth mentioning. The Moon Lake is completely ruined, and the rest is basically forest. The so-called Kangxi Reviewing Platform is just a high platform with a stone statue of Kangxi in the forest.
Located in Beijing, I will go to Saihanba again on the 15th for about three days. The girl came to learn about it.
The Saihanba crossing is different from the Ulanbutong crossing. There is a fee here, whether you visit the scenic area or not, as long as you pass through it, you will be charged. In fact, the country does not allow charging for just crossing, but after a period of lax management, some people charge randomly, 130 per person, and I heard many people complain about this issue along the way
An experience so bad that it cannot be replicated. I admit that the 55-year spirit of Saihanba is very touching, but it has been ruined by these descendants. From the moment I bought the ticket to enter the scenic area, I never felt comfortable. No matter if I followed the signs or the guide, every scenic spot I arrived at was disgusting. The Seven-Star Lake is just a pool of water, and the Moon Lake is just a broken amusement park. The whole place is a rural-urban junction, the end of the Luan River, rotten water bubbles, and all kinds of fake dried meat sold on the ground. It can't be worse than this, just a piece of wood. Lin, or to put it nicely, it's a sea of forests. Don't go into any mountain casually, in case it's the mountain of some bully who will hold you back and won't let you leave, saying you stepped on their grass and you need to pay compensation, no matter who you ask. I've spent money to enter a wolf's den. I can only say that Saihanba has been ruined by later generations into a shitty place. If you want to travel by car, you don't have to leave Beijing, there are such scenery everywhere in every mountain in Beijing. I've been to Yunnan, Shandong, and Tianjin, and I had a good experience there, but only Saihanba in Chengde is disappointing.
The park is very large and good overall. The grasslands are mainly in Yudaokou and the north gate of the park near Wulanbutong. There are many wetland parks. You can go to each lake according to the map. If you are short on time, it is recommended to go to Qixing Lake, which has a large area and high negative oxygen ions.
The ticket to Saihanba is 130 and valid for 3 days. It is recommended to stay at least 2 days, so you can visit the scenic spots and have fun. In particular, the scenery you see at different time periods (morning, sunset, dusk) is different. Check the weather before going, as the weather will affect the visual scenery. If you drive through the scenic area, you don't need to buy a ticket if you don't go to the scenic spots. Now there is no ticket toll. There are also some viewing platforms along the way where you can see the scenery and take pictures.
For specific routes, please refer to http://www.mafengwo.cn/i/10309510.html
All the way north, Shangba went to see the trees planted by "Feng Cheng". Green water, green mountains, blue sky and white clouds. What a great environment!
It’s so beautiful, much better than I imagined. Only when I got here did I know what magnificent rivers and mountains are!
In summer, the scenery is full of green, which is quite nice. However, the good scenery is mainly in the grassland part of Yudaokou. There is nothing much to see in the forest part of Saihanba. There is only one main road inside, and traffic is a problem. It is often congested.
Adult tickets are 130 yuan, and children are half price. Because it is close to Beijing, there are many vehicles queuing at the entrance. There are many rapeseeds, sunflowers, and unknown small yellow flowers planted on the roadside. You must find a suitable parking spot when parking on the roadside, because the road is narrow and parking is likely to affect the passage of other vehicles.
It is suitable to rent a car to play. In autumn, everything is golden.
The scenery is good and I didn't encounter any bad things. I had two days of meals at the farmhouse where I stayed. It was pretty good. A lamb leg weighing more than 3 kilograms cost 200 yuan. The ticket office charged 20 yuan for a scenic map, which was really cheap.
Enjoy the grassland wine and food along the way
Saihanba National Forest Park, green water and green mountains are gold and silver mountains. When you come to Saihanba, the mountains are full of trees, and the summer here is a world of flowers. This is a summer resort with excellent air quality. Welcome to Mulan Paddock Saihanba National Forest Park.
The scenery is great. It's already very cold when you go there in September. The temperature difference is quite large. You need to wear a down jacket in the morning and evening.
Very good! The scenery of Bashang is well-deserved! The national hunting ground is as good as expected!
The road stretches endlessly until we are almost at the top of Saihanba Mountain, but there is no scenery that makes me feel distracted. All I see are birch trees that look vigorous and desolate. In May, the birch trees have not yet opened their leaves. They are just bare branches and grayish stems. There are also some pine trees that are slightly taller than those in the south! The forest area is not as large as I imagined. Because the trees have no leaves, you can see all the way to the bottom. There is no lush and vibrant feeling of the original forest as I imagined!
This park is also called Bashang Grassland. It is not far from Beijing. It is a large area. It is best to drive there by yourself. The ticket allows you to stay there for three days. There are special hotels in the scenic area, and there are many restaurants around. It's just that there are always people stopping customers on the roadside, which is annoying. Of course, I mainly eat beef and mutton and taste local characteristics. The scenic spots in the scenic area are very far away, so you must drive there. You can buy a map when you enter to facilitate finding the route. Because it is a forest area, it is very cold at night. Keep warm! If you can ride a horse, you can run freely on the grassland by yourself. What is the lake in the wetland landscape? I can't remember it clearly. It is so beautiful. When there is no one in the morning, you can feel a piece of peace and tranquility. It is really a natural oxygen bar and worth a visit.
During the National Day holiday, many people came to Saihanba National Forest Park. I wonder if anyone came here because they watched the TV introduction during the summer vacation like me. First, there was a queue at the gate. The scenic area is super large, so you can only drive by yourself. When you arrived at the Diaoyutai service area, it was not so smooth to find a parking space. When you arrived at Weichang County, you learned that there was congestion in front of the main gate of the scenic area. You decisively listened to people's advice and went through the side door. The side door also has disadvantages. The road is narrow and has many turns, which is similar to the feeling of a country road. It still saves time more or less. There are many cars in the scenic area, but most of the time, order can be maintained. Only when you are at Baihuaping, the parking lot is small, with two lanes in both directions. According to the order of the tour, you should turn around here. The scene is in chaos, no one maintains order, and it takes a lot of time to find a parking space. The most important thing is accommodation. At this time, Saihanba is already very cold. It is not an exaggeration to wear a down jacket when the wind is strong. Unfortunately, it is not the heating period. It will be painful at night without air conditioning. Those who plan to stay must make an appointment in advance, after all, many people are preparing to play for a few days. At this time, except for the leaves of the birch trees that have fallen, everything else is fine and the colors are bright. Fire prevention is very important in forest parks, and there are fire prevention warning signs held by people on the roadside.
Saihanba National Forest Park is part of the Mulan Hunting Ground, a royal hunting ground in the Qing Dynasty. It covers a total area of 1.41 million mu and has an altitude of 1,100-1,940 meters. It has a cold temperate monsoon climate, with a cool summer climate and a maximum temperature generally not exceeding 25°C. There are many species of flora and fauna here, which can be viewed and hunted. The park has six types of landscapes and is known as "the source of water, the hometown of clouds, the world of flowers, the ocean of forests, and the paradise of rare birds and animals". It is a national first-class tourist resource with unique characteristics of "ecology, royal family, and folk customs". It is located at the intersection of the Inner Mongolia Plateau and the mountains in northern Hebei, with complex terrain structure and vegetation. Mountains and plateaus echo each other; hills and Mandians are rolling; rivers and lakes are scattered; forests and grasslands are intertwined. In particular, the vast sea of forests and large areas of natural grasslands are integrated into one, beautiful and spectacular. Transportation to Bashang: Take a shuttle bus from Chengde to the enclosure, and then take a shuttle bus from the enclosure to the mechanical forest farm. The mechanized forest farm has already entered the Saihanba National Forest Park.
I've been here twice, both in mid-December, to see the snow. The ticket office was closed at that time, so I didn't need to buy tickets. There is a town in the Saihanba Scenic Area, with three hotels still in business. You can stay there for more than 200 yuan a night, and you can bargain. There is not as much snow this year as last year, but it's still fun! It takes more than ten minutes to drive to the Ulanbutong Scenic Area, where you can play for two to three days
I visited here in the summer of 2011.7.9. Blue sky, white clouds, grassland, barbecue, bonfire, happy and comfortable.
Without a plan, you never know you will enter such a secret place. At sunset, the ground is covered with snow and the shadows of trees are dancing. In the morning, the birch forest is penetrated by the sunlight, the lake surface makes strange sounds when it freezes, the whole row of artificial forests, the endless road, lazily running towards Sunset Boulevard, how I wish time could freeze at this moment.
The picture shows me at a registration office for entering Saihanba. The man in the picture asked us to leave all the cigarettes in our hands for fire prevention, otherwise we would not be allowed to enter. He smoked the cigarettes after leaving them, and he refused to let us in if we refused, and finally a dispute broke out. We said we would not enter and would turn around, so he went to the back and asked people to block us. In short, it is best for tourists who smoke to be careful, or don't bring cigarettes, after all, fire prevention is important. When traveling to such a place, you are unfamiliar with the place, and it is not easy to solve problems if something happens, so please be careful.
It was basically closed when I went there, and I didn't give a high rating to the public service. I recommend going there in May or September, as the scenery is still beautiful.
The large artificial forest, with rows of trees, still looks very impressive. The unified ticket price for Saihanba and Yudaokou Scenic Area is 130 yuan, free for soldiers and half price for seniors.
I hope I will never wake up from my drunkenness, or that we will meet again one day
I personally feel it is a little better than Ulanbutong. You can go there once, but you don't need to go there many times.
The ticket is 130 per person and is valid for three days. There are still people collecting tickets outside the scenic area, which should be because the tickets that are less than three days can be sold. It is said that locals or cars with local license plates do not need to pay tickets. Back to the point, the scenery is quite good and suitable for taking pictures. The scenic area is very large, suitable for staying for two more days to have a good look. Many scenic spots that are not marked on the ticket are still beautiful. Especially in autumn, the colorful mountains are very beautiful. Accommodation, meals, and refueling are all available in the scenic area, which is not very expensive and very convenient. The only drawback is that it is a bit cold in this season, and it is minus five degrees in the morning and evening. And almost all the accommodation in the scenic area has no air conditioning and heating. It is now the peak season, and accommodation must be booked in advance, otherwise it will be very troublesome.
Autumn in Saihanba
The beauty is beyond my imagination
Quiet and shy in the morning, gorgeous and flamboyant in the afternoon
The dead grass here also has a unique beauty
I drove from Beijing. The ticket price was 130 yuan per person. There was a traitor knocking on the glass at the door wearing a police uniform. I bought 100 yuan per person and you can enter without a ticket. I don't know if it is safe or not. Don't take the risk and try. The scenery inside is nice, but I think it is similar to the grassland sky road. The sky road is free! The people here also give me a bad impression! The saying that poor mountains and bad waters produce unruly people is true. I don't want to say more about what happened. Anyway, don't come if you can. Food and accommodation are expensive and a rip-off!
Attention!!! There are cheating grass motorcycles opposite the entrance of Baihuaping Scenic Area! Be careful.
My friend (female) wanted to take a photo on a motorcycle (no one was in sight at the time). After the photo was taken, a man wearing a red forest fire prevention armband suddenly jumped out from behind and stopped us. He demanded 100 yuan! If we didn't give him the money, he wouldn't let us go. Otherwise, he would smear the oil on his hands on the girl. Isn't this obviously extortion? His attitude was extremely rampant, and he even shouted: You can call the police at will, I'm not afraid.
I complained to the service center of Baihuaping Scenic Area across the street, but they said they couldn't do anything about it! I want to ask myself: we have already paid for the entrance ticket to the scenic area, but such a problem happened in the scenic area and they ignored the personal and property safety of tourists. It is really disappointing!
We had no choice but to give him 100 and leave. We would like to expose this and remind all travelers to pay attention to the dike. Please also ask the relevant departments to pay attention!
If we don't clean up the surrounding black-hearted hotels, Saihanba will be ruined sooner or later. In early August, a family of three went to Saihanba for a trip. We looked for a hotel in the afternoon and waited to enter the park the next morning. We just arrived at a hotel called Xinxin Farmhouse, about 3-4 kilometers away from the south gate of Saihanba. It happened to be raining again. After asking the store owner to open the room, we found that the room was too small and there were many mosquitoes and flies inside. But it was raining and it was inconvenient to go elsewhere, so we decided to stay. While waiting for the store owner to get the mosquito repellent, the rain stopped. I saw another farmhouse next to it, and I went to see how his room was. After seeing it, I felt that it was better than Xinxin's, so I picked up my luggage and moved to the next room. When I returned to inform the store owner, I didn't expect to be rejected. He threatened us with the language of the locals, demanding that we must stay, or pay the room fee and wash the sheets before we can leave. This surprised us that in this place that promotes dedication and hard work, there would be such a scene. The store owner was ready to take out weapons to argue with me, but I only agreed to wash the sheets. I have children here, and I don't want to use recklessness to exchange for unnecessary results. After washing the sheets, several people from the store still insisted that they must wait until the sheets are dry before leaving, or they would pay. I had to call the police. It took almost 2 hours from calling the police to the police. The local police delayed arriving to resolve the dispute on the grounds that they couldn't find the place. It really made us tourists frustrated and experienced the style of the local tyrants. This period of waiting for the police to arrive made us extremely anxious. It was already dark, the temperature dropped sharply, and it was still raining. I was just worried that the child would get sick because of this. During this period, they didn't let us leave. My wife and I took turns to call the duty personnel of the police station in charge. They kept telling us that they were sending people over. They kept saying this. I felt like I was trapped in hell. This place 400 kilometers away from Beijing would be like this? What about the scenic spots farther away from the imperial capital? Several layers of anger suddenly came to my mind and I wanted to fight with them. It was detrimental to not accept the money. The rain gradually got heavier, and the police called to tell me that they were on the way. I was so angry that I sent my wife and children to the car, comforted them, pretended to go shopping, and then jumped back into the car and drove away. It was so shameful and aggrieved. I told the police that they didn't need to come because we had already left. He said he had already arrived. I laughed.
It really makes people feel the different faces of the people in this scenic spot. For the sake of money and a little profit, they have lost all conscience and dare to restrict the freedom of tourists.
At first, a good idea was to let the children come to see Saihanba and experience the spirit of Saihanba. We not only appreciated the beauty of Saihanba, but also saw the other side of Saihanba. I really don't want this kind of local tyrant style to occupy Saihanba, and I also applaud the police's style of "thunder strikes and winds". I advise those who haven't been here to watch the news and pictures and imagine the beautiful forest scene. If you have to come, then don't come to Xinxin Farmhouse.
Maybe I generalized the whole from one point and said it in an extreme way, but this phenomenon did happen, and it happened in a place that fully promoted the red spirit and was full of positive energy.
The forest park is very beautiful. Since it is autumn, the temperature is relatively low, so you need to wear a windbreaker. The core area of Saihanba Forest Farm is a small town with local characteristics, such as log cabins and red-roofed houses, which are not available in other places. The food is just so-so, and the transportation is inconvenient, which is understandable.
Saihanba is located on the southeastern edge of the Inner Mongolia Plateau, at the junction of the Inner Mongolia Plateau and the northern Hebei Mountains. It is located between the Inner Mongolia Lava Plateau and the northern Hebei Mountains, and is mainly a plateau terrace. It is 51.46 kilometers long from east to west and 17.84 kilometers wide from north to south. The regional altitude is 1,500-1,939.6 meters, and the area is 20,029 hectares. Historically, Saihanba was a place with abundant water and grass, dense forests, and abundant animals. It was called "Thousand Miles of Pine Forest" during the Liao and Jin Dynasties and was once used as a hunting ground for the emperor.
Two years ago, I accidentally saw a travel note about Saihanba on China-TravelNote.
Two years later, I walked through Saihanba, Ulanbutong and Mulan Paddock.
I think Qixing Lake is one of the best attractions in Saihanba.
Saihanba was a natural park with abundant water and grass, dense forests, and abundant animals and beasts. It was called "Thousand Miles of Pine Forest" during the Liao and Jin Dynasties and was once used as a hunting ground for the emperor. Later, it turned into a plateau with barren hills, presenting a desolate scene of "no trees for birds to roost, and yellow sand covering the sky".
After the founding of New China, two generations of people used their youth and sweat to create vast forests. Combined with the profound historical and cultural heritage and the rich Manchu and Mongolian ethnic customs, it has become a national first-class tourism resource.
A place where you can think about nothing, just lie in the sun and run freely in the wind. The herdsmen's horses are very gentle, grazing peacefully on the grassland under the sun.
The air is fresh and the scenery is pleasant. There is also a place called Moon Hill, which can only be reached by off-road vehicles and has the most beautiful scenery.
I went there at the end of July. Large tracts of rapeseed flowers were still in full bloom. The scenery was spectacular, especially the Pine and Birch Competition for Spring. I didn't plan to stay there, but I got off the bus when I passed by and found it was very beautiful. When I got off the bus, I found that this was the Pine and Birch Competition for Spring.
Accommodation: The farmhouse was booked a week in advance. It was managed by a family of three. The division of labor was very clear. The aunt cooked delicious food, and the uncle was responsible for roasting the lamb legs (my husband and father-in-law praised the lamb legs for being crispy on the outside and tender on the inside). There was also cleaning the guest rooms. I witnessed that all the bedding was changed and washed as soon as the guests left, and my husband kept saying that the pillow smelled freshly washed! So I was very satisfied with the food and accommodation. Introduction to scenic spots: The itinerary is three days and two nights. Depart from Beijing at 5 o'clock on Friday morning and take the Beijing-Chengdu Expressway! Depart at 5 o'clock on Saturday morning and get home before 12 o'clock! So in fact, plus the time spent driving on the road, it only took a day and a half to play. We took a circle in the forest farm in the afternoon of the first day we arrived. The scenery along the way was really beautiful! Finally, it rained a little when we arrived at Qixing Lake, so we came out soon! It was a pity that this attraction was not completed! The next morning, we drove straight to the Ulanbutong Scenic Area. The tickets for this and the Forest Park were purchased separately (Taobao is very cheap and less than 100). We went to Princess Lake, the film and television base, and slept on the grass, in close contact with the earth, and felt the natural scenery! There are many entertainment activities on the grassland, mainly horse riding (because my husband loves animals and loves horses! So we didn't ride horses) In general, my parents-in-law were very satisfied with this trip and kept praising the place they chose! Disadvantages: The last dinner the day before we came back was in the town of Forest Park, which was a pit! It cost more than 300 yuan to order a few vegetarian dishes for a meal! It really feels like a one-size-fits-all approach! So you must eat in the farmhouse, and when you leave the Forest Park and enter the Ulanbutong ticket gate, those people in white clothes are particularly arrogant! The service attitude is so bad! Of course, there are also problems with myself. I didn't exchange tickets in advance, which caused the cars that had already bought tickets to rush in! So you must get off the bus and buy tickets when you are in line, otherwise you will have to wait for a long time! Maybe it's because it's Saturday and Sunday!
The scenery of Saihanba is very beautiful, especially the birch forest. The vegetation here is artificially planted, but it is well protected! The Tuligen River divides Ulanbutong and Saihanba, and it also divides Hebei and Inner Mongolia. It is recommended to visit both places together.
I like the free travel in Saihanba, where cars are the way to go and forests are the scenery.
Standing on the vast grassland, you can see herds of cattle, sheep, and galloping horses. The picture of natural beauty and animals in perfect harmony is refreshing.
The prairie is an infinitely fascinating place with cultural heritage of various historical origins!
This is a sea of forests and a world of flowers. After the Dragon Boat Festival, there will be more and more tourists here. You can see the grassland, the sea of forests, wild flowers, cattle and sheep, stars, clouds, horseback riding, and bonfires. Friends from all over the world are welcome to come here to travel. You can find me if you want to rent a car or work as a part-time tour guide. 15/0/2/8/9/9/09/39/Wei Tong
The combined ticket for Saihanba and Yudaokou costs 130 yuan! When we went there, it was the off-season. In early September, it was autumn, and people had to wear winter clothes here. A farmhouse owner at the entrance of the ticket office let us stay in her farmhouse for 100 yuan per day. She said she was a relative of hers and drove in from a small road, so she didn't buy tickets! The next day, she took us to visit Saihanba and Yudaokou as a tour guide, charging a tour guide fee of 100 yuan! It's a good deal! There were only three of us tourists in the whole Saihanba. We drove and rolled around to appreciate the grassland style, including the scenic spots: Taoshan Lake, Grand Canyon, Moon Lake, Qixing Lake, Saihan Tower... The Hongshan Military Horse Farm, which is separated by a distance, belongs to the Inner Mongolia border and requires an additional ticket of 120 yuan per person. It is recommended not to buy their lamb legs here. They are as big as grenades, and basically only bones are left. It costs 200 yuan. At this price, you can buy four pounds of lamb legs in Tianjin.
You need a car to go there, so we signed up for a tour group. Off-road vehicles drove deep into the grassland one after another. The grassland in autumn is full of colorful forests, and there are many sheep and cows. You can watch the stars at night.
Saihanba in autumn is breathtakingly beautiful, highly recommended!
Saihanba National Forest Park is the largest forest park in northern China. It is a vast sea of forests, white snow, and icy jade trees, a scene of northern China. It is also one of the sources of the Luan River and the Liao River. Therefore, it is known as "the source of the river, the hometown of clouds, the world of flowers, and the ocean of forests." Danger often lurks behind the beauty. Several sections of the mountain road are 180-degree icy turns. The family's mood is like a roller coaster with every shift and brake of the driver, and their hands are wet without realizing it.
Grasslands, lakes, drive off-road across the grasslands and enjoy the morning sunrise on the grasslands!
I went there in the winter of 2013. It cost a lot, but the scenery was really nice.
It's worth a visit and it's a tourist attraction with not too many people.
Personally, I think the beauty of Saihanba lies not only in its natural scenery but also in its Saihanba spirit! Saihanba spirit is rooted in the 1.4 million mu of land in Saihanba, originates from the dedication and struggle of hundreds of Saihanba foresters, grows on the increasingly brilliant green cause of Saihanba, and is the result of the blood, sweat and life of several generations of Saihanba people. The first generation of builders really dedicated their youth, their children and grandchildren, and their children and grandchildren for their entire lives! Therefore, this scenic spot not only has beautiful natural scenery, but also is full of positive energy and inspirational spirit!
