Zhaozhou Bridge, also known as Anji Bridge, has a history of more than 1,400 years. It is the second earliest and best-preserved ancient single-hole open-shoulder stone arch bridge in the world.
The bridge is cleverly designed, combining beautiful architecture, firmness and practicality. It is said that if the flood reaches the bridge arch, the whole Zhao County will be submerged in water.
Those who are interested in visiting the Bridge Museum can purchase a combined ticket. In addition, you can visit it together with the Berlin Zen Temple.

Duration: 1 hour
It is great to experience the contents of the Chinese textbook in person. "Reading thousands of books and traveling thousands of miles" is the dream of every reader.
Of course, the Chinese textbook does not tell you that the Zhaozhou Bridge, which is 1,400 years old in lunar years, is actually less than 70 years old.
After observing the scene, I found that what the textbook said was true. The bridge deck was indeed beautifully carved with dragons and phoenixes dancing. There were indeed no piers at the bottom of the bridge. However, I always felt that something was wrong. By the way, why is the bridge so new when it is more than 1,400 years old?
I checked Baidu and was shocked. In 1954, the bridge was completely renovated, the main arch and the small arch were removed, and pressure grouting technology was used. In addition to the similar appearance, it has become a genuine cement bridge. In this regard, Mr. Liang Sicheng even "sincerely" expressed "regret": "Renovating an ancient cultural relic building to look brand new is like rubbing some Zhou tripods and Han regulations with copper oil to make them shiny, which will seriously damage its historical and artistic value. ... In the reconstruction of Zhaozhou Bridge, this aspect has not received enough attention, which cannot be said to be a pity."
The ticket is 40 yuan, and the ticket for the Science and Technology Museum and the museum is 30 yuan each. It is cheaper to buy a combined ticket online. It is about less than 50 yuan. We only bought tickets for the Zhaozhou Bridge and did not go to the other two. To be honest, the ticket price is expensive in this circle of Hebei. It takes about an hour to visit the Zhaozhou Bridge. There is also a stone tablet of Qianlong, but there is no photo. We didn’t know until we arrived in Zhao County that snow pears are produced here. They are very big and delicious. We bought a box and weighed more than 40 kilograms for 50 yuan. It is worth buying. You can buy freshly squeezed snow pear juice, which seems to be 15 yuan per cup. But it is better to eat the pears directly.
Zhaozhou Bridge, also known as Anji Bridge and commonly known as Dashi Bridge, is a stone arch bridge across the Xiao River in Zhao County. It was built by Li Chun, a craftsman in the Sui Dynasty. It is the oldest, largest and best-preserved single-hole flat-arc open-shoulder stone arch bridge in the world. Zhaozhou Bridge is an arch bridge with a total length of 50.82 meters, a width of 9.6 meters, a height of 7.23 meters, and a main span of 37.02 meters. The main arch is 1.03 meters thick and has arch stones on the top. There are two small arches on both sides of the main arch with clear spans of 3.8 meters and 2.85 meters respectively, which can increase the water-passing area by 16%. The bridge weighs 2,800 tons.
In the traditional construction method of ancient China, long bridges are usually built with multiple holes, so that each hole has a small span and a gentle slope, which is easy to build. However, multi-hole bridges also have disadvantages. For example, many piers are not conducive to navigation of boats and also hinder the discharge of floods. The piers are impacted and eroded by water for a long time, and they are easy to collapse over time. Therefore, when designing the bridge, Li Chun adopted the form of a single hole with a long span, without piers in the middle of the river, so that the span of the stone arch is as long as 37 meters. This is an unprecedented innovation in the history of Chinese bridges.
This is a major improvement made by Li Chun on the arch shoulder. The solid shoulder arch used in previous bridge construction was changed to an open shoulder arch, that is, two small arches were set at each end of the large arch. The clear span of the small arch near the foot of the large arch is 3.8 meters, and the clear span of the other arch is 2.8 meters. This open shoulder arch with a large arch and a small arch has excellent technical performance. First, it can increase the flood discharge capacity and reduce the impact of the flood on the bridge caused by the increase in water volume during the flood season. In ancient times, the water level of the Xiao River was high during the flood season, which was a test for the flood discharge capacity of the bridge. The four small arches could share part of the flood. It is calculated that the four small arches increase the water-passing area by about 16%, greatly reducing the impact of floods on the bridge and improving the safety of the bridge.
Secondly, the open-shoulder arch can save a lot of earth and stone materials and reduce the weight of the bridge body compared to the solid-shoulder arch. It is calculated that the four small arches can save 260 cubic meters of stone and reduce their own weight by 700 tons, thereby reducing the vertical pressure and horizontal thrust of the bridge body on the abutments and foundations, and increasing the stability of the bridge. Thirdly, it increases the beauty of the shape. The four small arches are balanced and symmetrical. The large arch and the small arch form a complete picture, which looks more light and beautiful, reflecting the complete unity of architecture and art. Fourthly, it conforms to the theory of structural mechanics. The open-shoulder arch structure puts the bridge in a favorable condition when bearing, which can reduce the deformation of the main arch ring and improve the bearing capacity and stability of the bridge.
Iron nails are added between the stones of each narrow arch to connect them into a whole. Each arch ring can independently support the weight above, preventing damage to one arch ring from affecting other arch rings.
This is the earliest and best preserved huge stone arch bridge in China. Open-shoulder arch bridges like this did not appear in Europe until the mid-19th century, more than 1,200 years later than in my country.
Zhaozhou Bridge is located in Zhao County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. It is the oldest, largest and best-preserved single-hole open-shoulder stone arch bridge in the world. I went there during the May Day holiday. I could get there by taking bus No. 2 at Shita Station in Zhao County. The scenic area is currently divided into two parts: the Science and Technology Museum and Zhaozhou Bridge Park. The ticket price for the scenic area is 40 yuan (only includes Zhaozhou Bridge Park), and the full ticket price is 70 yuan. In addition, the tour guide certificate is not free! If the tour guide leads a group, the tour guide himself can be free of charge. The Science and Technology Museum is worth a visit! It introduces famous bridges in various periods of China, the types and history of bridges, etc., which is very beneficial. Zhaozhou Bridge Park has beautiful scenery and elegant environment, and it is also worth a visit! Zhao County also has special mutton soup and sesame cakes, snow pear juice, and donkey meat. Don't miss these snacks. It is not far from Zhaozhou Bridge to Zhao County Bus Station, more than 2 kilometers, and 10 yuan is enough for a taxi!
It is very famous, but lacks in characteristics and history
Located in Zhao County, Shijiazhuang City, it is the earliest arch bridge in the world, reflecting my country's early scientific wisdom.
40 dollars just to see the bridge seems a bit expensive.
There are few people in the park. The bridge railings are newly built and the carved decorations are very rural style.
The tourist center at the entrance doesn't sell tickets. You need to go to the ticket office about 100 meters away. There is only one toilet near the bridge, not in the tourist center.
I was very disappointed when I saw the Zhaozhou Bridge mentioned in the elementary school textbooks. The Zhaozhou Bridge has been restored to its original state and does not show the glory and vicissitudes of history at all.
It's just a bridge, but it was built 1,000 years ago. Hahaha, that's all.
I almost cried when I saw the miracle project in the books when I was a child. This area has now been turned into a park. It’s not big but there are a lot of people. It only takes half an hour to reach the limit of the attractions and mood. If you don’t drive, transportation is a problem. The reliefs on the bridge are collected in the Ancient Bridge Museum. I will go there again if I have the chance.
Very good, very good, very nice
Due to my lack of knowledge about architecture, I could only go there out of admiration, to look for the Zhaozhou Bridge in my childhood textbooks, to feel the 1,400-year history, and to take photos as a souvenir.
ps: Active and retired military personnel can enter for free with their ID, but I forgot to bring it with me so I had to buy a ticket.
Because I am studying bridge construction, I went to see the bridge. The bridge is still very beautiful, but it is not the real bridge of that year. If you are not particularly interested, I don’t recommend going there.
This world-famous stone bridge, which has a history of more than 1,400 years, is worth seeing.
My earliest memory of Zhaozhou Bridge is from my junior high school textbooks. It has a history of 1,400 years. There is not much water in the Xiao River anymore, and only the Zhaozhou Bridge across it remains. The historical monument is still worth a visit.
This is a very rubbish place. The villagers even built a museum to deceive people. The real Zhaozhou Bridge no longer exists. It was newly built later. People who have been there all curse.
Marvel at the wisdom of the ancients, the overall environment of the scenic area needs to be further improved!
The Zhaozhou Bridge is the same as the memory in the book. The ticket price is reasonable. The main attraction is the bridge, and the rest is greening. The bridge railings are different in each dynasty. At the same time, Zhaoxian donkey meat is delicious.
After entering the gate, passing the Eight Immortals statues, we finally saw the Zhaozhou Bridge.
You can walk up to the Zhaozhou Bridge and see the Xiao River from the bridge.
This is a scenic spot on the way back by car. My child is in primary school and happened to have learned about Zhaozhou Bridge in the textbook. We came here just when we passed by.
It's just a park, not crowded. I took some photos by the Zhaozhou Bridge and took them home. Zhao County is the origin of snow pear, and there are stalls selling snow pear.
It's just a bridge. Maybe, without Mao Yisheng, the Zhaozhou Bridge wouldn't have been so famous! The local government treats tourism too lightly. They can't even clean up the water surface. Fortunately, my shooting angle is good.
Zhaozhou Bridge, also known as Anji Bridge, is located on the Xiaohe River in Zhao County, Hebei Province, spanning over a river surface more than 37 meters wide. Because the bridge is built entirely of stone, it is called the "Big Stone Bridge" locally. It was built during the Sui Dynasty from 595 to 605 AD and was designed and built by the famous craftsman Li Chun. It has a history of more than 1,400 years. It is the second oldest (there is also a Xiaoshang Bridge) and the best-preserved ancient single-hole open-shoulder stone arch bridge in the world today.
It is the first stone arch bridge in China. Over the long years, despite having experienced countless floods, wind and rain, erosion by ice and snow, and eight earthquakes, it remains intact and stands tall above the Xiao River.
Tickets: Zhaozhou Bridge + Bridge Museum: 70 yuan/person; recommended visiting time: 2 hours.
Zhaozhou Bridge was first built in the Sui Dynasty, more than 1,400 years ago. The builder, Li Chun, read about it in the Chinese textbook in primary school. Today, I finally saw the real thing. It has survived wind and rain and is still solid. I have to admire the wisdom of the ancients. After years, the Zhaozhou Bridge still looks beautiful and majestic. Tickets for Zhaozhou Bridge Scenic Area: 40 yuan per person.
The Zhaozhou Bridge is ingenious and ingenious, and contains many creative designs. On the one hand, most long bridges in my country are built in a multi-hole form, and the small holes have a small span and are easy to build, but they also increase the number of bridge piers, which is not conducive to the passage of ships and hinders the discharge of floods. The Zhaozhou Bridge cleverly uses a single-hole structure to cleverly avoid these problems. On the other hand, there are two small holes on the left and right sides of the large arch. This design disperses the impact of floods on the bridge body, ensures the smooth flow of water, and saves materials. Another wonderful thing is that most of the stone arch bridges in my country use semi-circular arches, with high and steep slopes, which bring inconvenience to the passage of vehicles and pedestrians, while the Zhaozhou Bridge is a circular arch, and the slope is relatively gentle, which is convenient for passage.
The Zhaozhou Bridge not only has important scientific significance, but is also visually beautiful. Its streamlined shape and magnificent momentum are amazing as a whole. In addition, the patterns on its railings are exquisitely carved and vivid, which adds cultural interest and artistic charm to the Zhaozhou Bridge.
Zhaozhou Bridge is the first stone arch bridge in my country and is very well preserved. It was built during the Sui Dynasty from 595 to 605 AD and was designed and built by the famous craftsman Li Chun. There is also an interesting legend about Zhaozhou Bridge. It is said that Zhaozhou Bridge was built by Lu Ban. After the bridge was built, Zhang Guolao brought Chai Rong to join in the fun and asked if the bridge could withstand the two of them. Lu Ban thought: This bridge can withstand mules, horses and carts, let alone two people. So he invited them to the bridge. Unexpectedly, Zhang Guolao brought a saddle bag with the sun and the moon, and Chai Rong pushed a small cart with the "Five Famous Mountains". As soon as they got on the bridge, the bridge shook. Lu Ban shouted that it was not good, and hurriedly jumped into the water and held up the east side of the bridge with his hands. Because he used too much force, his handprints were left on the arch ring on the east side of the bridge. The bridge also left the roadway groove, donkey hoof prints, Chai Rong's knee prints when he fell, and the round pit made when Zhang Guolao's hat fell on the bridge. The pit left by Zhang Guolao can still be seen on the bridge.
The historical fame of Zhaozhou Bridge surpasses the name of its designer Li Chun. Needless to say, there was an article about the Zhaozhou Bridge in the primary school Chinese textbook.
There are many rumors about the Zhaozhou Bridge, including those about Lu Ban, the Eight Immortals, and Lord Chai. They all boast about the structural design, stability, functionality, and importance of the Zhaozhou Bridge to ecological protection.
The current Zhaozhou Bridge has been renovated, but the twenty-eight arches can still be seen.
On an ordinary morning in the middle of winter in 2014, I took a long-distance bus from Shijiazhuang to Zhaoxian and then took a taxi to the Zhaozhou Bridge. There were no tourists at all. The surprise was that the river was completely frozen, and I could get down to the river to get close to the ancient bridge and appreciate its beauty from a unique angle in the river.

It has a history of more than 1,400 years. It is the second oldest (there is also a Xiaoshang Bridge) and the most intact ancient single-hole open-shoulder stone arch bridge in the world. Zhaozhou Bridge embodies the wisdom and crystallization of the ancient working people and has created a new situation in China's bridge construction.
I went there on purpose when I went to Shijiazhuang in 1998 and took some photos. I have a deep memory of it.
History, allusions, technology, art, and scenery are all covered. It is worth a visit!
The ticket price for Zhaozhou Bridge Scenic Area is 60 yuan for adults, and half price for the elderly and children.
There is an exhibition hall next to the parking lot, which contains some introductions to bridge knowledge.
The official name of Zhaozhou Bridge is Anji Bridge. It was built in the Sui Dynasty and designed and constructed by the famous craftsman Li Chun. It has a history of more than 1,400 years. It is the second earliest (there is also a Xiaoshang Bridge) and the best-preserved ancient single-hole open-shoulder stone arch bridge in the world today.
The openings in the arch shoulders can not only reduce the weight of the bridge, but also increase the amount of water flowing through it during floods, ensuring the safety of the bridge. This open-shoulder arch design was ahead of Europe by more than 1,200 years. Unfortunately, during the major overhaul in 1956, the new pressure grouting process was adopted, which changed the construction process of the original bridge. The historical appearance of the bridge was not preserved, but was "renovated". All the bridge railings were replaced with new stones, and the vicissitudes of life were completely gone. Personally, I think that the maintenance of ancient buildings should be "repairing the old as it was"!
Very good, really very good! Extremely good!
The Zhaozhou Bridge was mentioned again and again when I was in school. It was called a miracle in the history of Chinese bridges and is also known as the oldest single-arch bridge. However, when I got there, I found that it had lost all its ancient charm due to maintenance. It looked like a new bridge, and the tickets were very expensive.
I came here to take a look mainly with the feelings learned in textbooks. It is the earliest single-hole stone bridge. It has its own architectural features, but its aesthetics are average. In this respect, it is a little inferior to the Lugou Bridge.
The scenic spot facilities are not complete and it is deserted. There are few people and the wind is cold. The service attitude of the vendors selling souvenirs inside is not good. However, the Zhaozhou Bridge, which is so famous in history, is still worth a visit.
There is a folk legend that Zhaozhou Bridge was built by Lu Ban. In fact, this is a misunderstanding. It is just because the craftsmanship level of Zhaozhou Bridge is too high. It’s a pity for Li Chun, because he is not as famous as Lu Ban, the fine product he made was claimed by others.
Zhaozhou Bridge is one of the four ancient bridges in China. It has a history of 1,400 years. It has experienced 10 floods, 8 wars and many earthquakes, especially the 7.6-magnitude earthquake in Xingtai in 1966. The Zhaozhou Bridge was not damaged. It is the earliest and best-preserved ancient open-shoulder stone arch bridge in the world. Zhaoxian Bus No. 2 goes directly to it.
If you didn't tell me it was the Zhaozhou Bridge, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference from the arch bridge built in the 1990s in front of my house.
Unfortunately, it seems that the newly built bridge still costs 40 yuan.
Zhaozhou Bridge Scenic Area, the parking lot is 4 yuan for small cars with no time limit. Opposite the parking lot ticket office is the Ancient Bridge Exhibition Hall. You can buy a combined ticket here. The Zhaozhou Bridge + Ancient Bridge Exhibition Hall combined ticket is 60 yuan/ticket, and the discounted ticket for 60-69 years old is 30 yuan/ticket. Going further back, there is a Zhaozhou Bridge ticket office, where you can directly buy the Zhaozhou Bridge Scenic Area ticket for 40 yuan/ticket. Zhaozhou Bridge is a hollow-shaped arc-shaped stone arch bridge. It is the earliest and best-preserved huge stone arch bridge in the world. It is 1,400 years old. If the flood reaches the dragon's mouth of the bridge arch, the entire Zhao County will be flooded.
The Zhaozhou Bridge in primary school Chinese language finally saw its true face
The ticket price for Zhaozhou Bridge is 50 yuan (including 30 yuan for the Ancient Bridge Museum), and it usually takes 1 hour to play.
After visiting the Zhao Yun Temple in Zhengding, we drove along the Xinyuan Expressway east of Zhengding to Zhao County to see the Zhaozhou Bridge. It took more than an hour to get out of the Zhao County exit and then drove for more than 10 minutes, passing the Berlin Temple and not far from the Zhaozhou Bridge.
As is common with this type of scenic area, they are trying to expand the area by any means possible. I bought a ticket at the ticket office and followed their directions, but ended up entering the newly built Ancient Bridge Museum. I can understand what you are doing, but playing some tricks to deceive people is unpleasant. It's boring.
I went into the Ancient Bridge Museum and looked around for ten minutes. After asking the gatekeeper, I found out that the Zhaozhou Bridge was actually across the street and it would take a few minutes to walk there.
The scenic area has expanded a lot. After entering the gate, you have to walk along a very wide road to reach the bridge. There are statues of the Eight Immortals on both sides of the road, as if lining up to welcome tourists.
Zhaozhou Bridge is world-famous. It was mentioned in our Chinese textbooks in primary school. Here is a passage from the primary school textbook: "Zhaozhou Bridge, also known as Anji Bridge, was built during the Sui Dynasty (605-618 AD) by the famous craftsman Li Chun."
According to the introduction, the bridge is 50.82 meters long, with a span of 37.02 meters, a height of 7.23 meters, and a width of 9.6 meters at both ends. The bridge is really wide. I don't know why such a wide bridge was built back then. However, there must be a lot of water in this place, and it must be a major transportation route, otherwise they would not have taken the effort to build a bridge.
According to the legend, Zhang Guolao and Prince Chai left donkey hoof prints and wheel tracks on the bridge, but I didn't notice them. It seems I was negligent.
I'd miss this place if I didn't visit it, but I was a little disappointed after visiting it. The riverbank around the bridge is hardened and many flowers are planted. But it doesn't feel harmonious and tasteless. It is said that the Xiaohe River under the bridge has dried up a few years ago, and it was a stinking ditch with a little water. It has been renovated in recent years and has become what it is now. I think the level of the place should be satisfactory. I remember that in 1963, when Hebei had a flood, this Xiaohe River was also flooded and almost flooded the bridge. Since then, the Haihe River has been managed, but now the water has been managed. I really don't know what to say.
There are restaurants nearby and accommodation in Zhao County.
We rushed over from Xibaipo and arrived at Zhaozhou Bridge before dark, the magical bridge that my elementary school student had longed to visit.
However, don't come here, just search for pictures. The bridge is not a "real" bridge, the wheel tracks are not "real" wheel tracks, the river is not a "real" river, the scenery is not a "real" scenery, the memory cannot restore the "real" memory, even the maker is blurred... The cost performance is really not high, and it's a bit of a rip-off to drive hundreds of kilometers to this "historic site"!
In a rage, I went back home!
There are two places I think you must visit when you go to Shijiazhuang, one is Zhengding and the other is Zhaoxian. Zhaozhou Bridge, we all learned about it in elementary school, shouldn't we visit it? Besides, in addition to Zhaozhou Bridge, there are many ancient buildings in Zhaoxian that are worth visiting.
Well, how should I put it? It is famous after all. I borrowed a friend's car in Shijiazhuang and went there on purpose. There were few cars on the road. I also went to the temple in Zhao County. I felt it was much more worthwhile than the Zhaozhou Bridge! In general, the Zhaozhou Bridge is too deserted. It is basically surrounded by tourists and tour groups. I went there for its fame.
This is content from my elementary school textbook. When I was driving to Luoyang, I saw a sign for the Zhaozhou Bridge on the highway, so I took a detour to see it. Maybe it was because my childhood imagination was too beautiful, so there was a bit of a gap.

I don't think there is any need to introduce Zhaozhou Bridge because it was mentioned in elementary school textbooks. Tickets are 40 yuan, and student tickets are half price. In fact, it is just a bridge surrounded by a large garden.
I stopped by Zhao County on a business trip and found that the Zhaozhou Bridge is wider than I imagined, and its history of more than 1,400 years is truly remarkable.
There is a world-famous stone arch bridge on the Xiao River in Zhao County, Hebei Province, called Anji Bridge, also known as Zhaozhou Bridge. It was designed and built by Li Chun, a stonemason in the Sui Dynasty, and it has been more than 1,300 years old. The text of Zhaozhou Bridge in the third grade of primary school is still fresh in my memory. The ticket price is 40 yuan.

I first visited the museum and looked at the bridges marked there, but I had never been to many of them. Then I went to the scenic area, and the only bridge I could see was this one. However, the area of the circle was not small, the greenery was good, and there were many local citizens, so it was quite lively.
The price/performance ratio is not very high, but it is worth seeing such a famous bridge once.
Indeed, it is just a stone bridge, nothing else... But in order to feel the wisdom of our ancestors and the legend of the Eight Immortals, you should come.
In fact, the scenic area is quite small, and it mainly consists of a bridge. But this is not an ordinary bridge, it is a bridge that appears in elementary school textbooks!

When I was a child, there was an article about Zhaozhou Bridge in my textbook, so I decided to take a look at it.
Liang Sicheng: "The Anji Bridge in Zhao County, Hebei Province...can be regarded as a unique project in China."
It was renovated too recently. Personally, I can't believe it was renovated in the style of the Sui Dynasty. The ticket price is high, probably because a park has been built nearby. Overall, the cost performance is low.
This year's May Day, I came to the Zhaozhou Bridge in Hebei Province, which I had long admired. I first knew Zhaozhou Bridge from textbooks when I was a child in elementary school. Decades have passed and I have never seen the real Zhaozhou Bridge. It has been my dream for many years to see it with my own eyes. When I came to Zhaozhou Bridge on May 2, it was drizzling. Standing next to the Zhaozhou Bridge that I had longed for, I felt its magnificence and greatness. With a history of more than 1,400 years, I truly felt the greatness of the ancients of our motherland. I couldn't help but admire their feats. In the drizzling rain, Zhaozhou Bridge looked even more majestic and spectacular. Standing on the opposite covered bridge, I looked at Zhaozhou Bridge from a distance. The dream in my heart for many years finally came true. I finally saw the Zhaozhou Bridge that I had long admired. The Zhaozhou Bridge Scenic Area Park is not big. It took about an hour to see it. I left Zhaozhou Bridge reluctantly in the drizzling rain.
As a designer, this classic design is a model for us to learn from. In that era, Zhaozhou Bridge was a great innovation!
If your child is studying the text about Zhaozhou Bridge, you can go and have a look. I personally do not recommend going there on purpose.
You can go and have a look, it's only for this visit. Tickets are 60 yuan per person for adults, free for those over 60 years old and 3 years old under 120cm, half price for those aged 3-12
I learned the text when I was a child and was deeply impressed. Now my children are also learning it. I made a special trip to see the miracle created by our ancestors. But it is wrong to make money from it!
Zhaozhou Bridge, also known as Anji Bridge and Dashi Bridge, is the first stone arch bridge in China. It is well-known throughout the country. We learned about it in textbooks when we were young. It was designed and built by the famous craftsman Li Chun. It was already a national key cultural relic protection as early as 1961. After so many years of wind and rain, it still looks like in the textbook. Now I see it in person, I still feel very happy.
However, the ticket price of Zhaozhou Bridge is 40 yuan, which is not worth it. I feel it is a loss just to see the Zhaozhou Bridge. Although I have a student ID, my family's ticket is 40 yuan, which is very expensive for just seeing the Zhaozhou Bridge. 20 yuan per person is more or less. Now a park has been built with Zhaozhou Bridge as the center, called Zhaozhou Bridge Park. There is nothing in it. There are some statues of the Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea at the entrance, and then the Zhaozhou Bridge is in front. But everyone comes in just to see the Zhaozhou Bridge. There are ruts on the Zhaozhou Bridge, which are said to have been rolled up, and they are still there. After seeing the Zhaozhou Bridge, it is very fast, and then turn around the street, but I don't think it is necessary to see the museum. Just buy a ticket to come and see the Zhaozhou Bridge, because its popularity makes its ticket so expensive. The whole park can definitely be seen in less than 1 hour, and there is nothing to see.
When I was a kid, there was this "Zhaozhou Bridge" in my Chinese textbook. But I came here and saw it in person, and I had a deeper understanding of it. For example, in addition to the fact that the span was relatively large at the time, the four holes dug on the bridge are really a brilliant stroke! I asked the children on the spot, "Do you know why these four holes were dug?"
I can answer the questions myself without looking at the textbook: one, it is beautiful; two, it saves stone materials; three, it reduces the weight of the bridge; four, it plays the role of flood discharge and buffering impact.
Wow!
This was thousands of years ago.
Do you know the Zhaozhou Bridge? It’s a memory from my elementary school textbooks. It still feels familiar when I actually see it, but to be honest it’s just a small stone bridge. . . . .
It takes an hour to get to Zhao County from Nanjiao Bus Station in the city. Then you can take a bus (1 yuan) to the entrance of the scenic spot, or you can take a minivan (10 yuan). The student ticket is 30 yuan in total, including several small museums (10 yuan). There are Mao Yisheng Memorial Hall, Porcelain, and Bridge Exhibition Hall in the museum. The museum is very small and I finished it in a short while. I was hungry when I came out of the door. There was only snow pear juice for sale (maybe it was the off-season), so it’s best to eat something before going to the restaurant, or bring some snacks. Across the road is the Zhaozhou Bridge. It’s not big inside. Due to the haze and bad weather, there is nothing to see in winter. It snowed a few days ago, and there was still a little snow on the ground. The river surface was also frozen. There was only one bridge inside. It was very wide and well-structured. It is worthy of being an outstanding work in the history of bridge construction. However, apart from these, I personally don’t think it’s very fun. Just treat it as a visit to see the bridge. You can finish the whole visit in an hour!
There was nothing to do at home during the National Day holiday, so our family of five decided to go on a one-day trip to Zhengding. However, after visiting the temples in Zhengding, I suddenly realized that as a Hebei native, I had never been to the Zhaozhou Bridge. Before I went, I read the guide saying that it was not good to go there, but I didn't give up, so I ran over resolutely! How to say it~ It is indeed... First of all, we drove from Shijiazhuang. The highway we took was not tolled during holidays, so it took about 40 minutes! It feels very close. The ticket is 40 yuan, which is really not worth it! There are all kinds of Zhaoxian pears and dried pears around the scenic spot! The competition seems very fierce. We didn't buy it. It feels no different from the crystal pears bought elsewhere! It may be a holiday when we went there, and there are various exhibitions. With the money for the exhibition, the average price per person is 50, which is a discount. It is also the first time I have seen a discount on the ticket package. It may be because it is the last two days of the National Day holiday! There are all kinds of introductions to various bridges in China. It is very suitable for bringing children to see. It is still very cultural!
It takes about ten minutes to walk from the entrance of Zhaozhou Bridge Scenic Area to the bridge. There are many sculptures of ancient celebrities in the scenic area. This should be to make the scenic area more interesting, otherwise the bridge is really too unattractive. There is also a covered bridge parallel to Zhaozhou Bridge 100 meters away from Zhaozhou Bridge, which is a good place to view Zhaozhou Bridge. Zhaozhou Bridge was built in 605 AD. It was designed and built by the famous craftsman Li Chun. It was selected as the world's earliest open-shoulder stone arch bridge by the China World Records Association, creating the world's best. There is a platform on the right side of the Zhaozhou Bridge in the scenic area, and there is a stone statue of the builder Li Chun on the platform. When you go here, you will find that the architecture of the ancients is really amazing. It has a very quaint feeling. Walking on the bridge, you feel like you are walking thousands of years ago. The hole on the bridge is still there. History is very strange. So far, no one knows how it was formed.
Anyway, as a Hebei native, when walking on the bridge, I will always want to sing a song called "Little Cowherd", a famous Hebei song "Who built the Zhaozhou Bridge, who left the jade railings, who rode a donkey on the bridge, who pushed a cart and pressed the ditch, who pushed the cart and pressed the ditch, Lu Ban built the Zhaozhou Bridge, the jade railings were left by the sage, Zhang Guolao rode a donkey on the bridge, Chai Wangye pushed a cart and pressed the ditch, Chai Wangye pushed a cart and pressed the ditch" Although the scenic spot is really not worth the ticket price, it satisfies a little self-esteem as a Hebei native!
The whole scenic spot can definitely be seen in half an hour. There are not many food for sale around, you can go to Zhao County to buy them. Oh, by the way, the scenic area is equipped with a special parking lot, and it seems to be 2 yuan for a small car. Don't go to the parking place of villagers on the roadside, it is far and the fee is very expensive.
If you are not interested in architecture or historical sites, you don't need to go here. There is only the bridge in the yard, and there is nothing else to see. It costs 40 yuan. The combined ticket is 70 yuan. There is also an ancient bridge museum or something, but we didn't go there even though we had free tickets. Just look at the bridge.
Zhaozhou Bridge is located on the Xiaohe River in Zhao County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. It is a famous scenic spot in Shijiazhuang. It has a history of more than 1,300 years. It is the world's first stone arch bridge. The scenic spot is not big. I have been here twice. The first time was a spring outing for elementary school. This time I came here with my parents for a spring outing. I came to Zhaozhou Bridge again and felt that it was worth seeing. Zhaozhou Bridge is extraordinary. Every stone has traces left by history, but it is not well protected. Tourists can walk on the bridge at will, and the ticket price is 40 yuan/person, and the student ticket is half price. Zhao County is a tourist scenic spot, suitable for mid-March. There will be many pear blossoms in full bloom and the air in the scenic area is pleasant. The surrounding infrastructure is quite complete, with hotels, parking lots, and specialties, suitable for self-driving tours.
Bus: From the city to Nanjiao Long-distance Bus Station, take a bus to Zhaoxian City.
Zhaozhou Bridge in Zhao County is probably familiar to you, because I once learned a text called "Zhaozhou Bridge" when I was a child. I still remember reciting it while shaking my head. It is a historical site with a long history: it was built during the Sui Dynasty (605-618 AD), and it has a history of 1,400 years. It is still intact, which shows the wisdom of the ancients! You can see the footprints of history here, and how many years of ups and downs it has gone through.
Especially the nostalgic bees, haha, the excellent design concept is enough to reflect that the Chinese nation is great and its wisdom is infinite. Welcome bees to appreciate it
Entering the scenic area, you will see a stone carving with a poem about Zhaozhou Bridge on it and a picture about Zhaozhou Bridge on the back. If you continue to walk forward for a distance, you can see the bridge deck of Zhaozhou Bridge. There is a statue of Li Chun on the right. It stands here quietly. After thousands of years of ups and downs, it seems to have traveled through time. It is so exquisite that it makes people marvel at the wisdom of the ancient working people. The Anji Stone Bridge is like a sun and moon, and a dragon sits on the Huwen River Island; it has no pillars, but it is a natural workmanship, and it has a hole to distinguish the quietness of the land. Is it because the long rainbow swallows the bright moon, so it teaches half of the soul to hide in the clear stream; it is not said that the old fruit is so magical, let alone the white donkey embedded in the stone.
Tourism is the stage and the economy is the play, but the planning is obviously inferior to that of Hainan's attractions.
My childhood memory of Zhaozhou Bridge is the sentence in the text "Zhaozhou Bridge" that I learned in the third grade: "There is a world-famous stone arch bridge, called Anji Bridge, also known as Zhaozhou Bridge." I didn't expect to see it today, but it is still very different from my impression. First of all, Zhaozhou Bridge is not very big or very high, and the management around the scenic spot is not satisfactory. The planning is very casual, and there are not many guide signs. But it is precisely because of the superb design and exquisite craftsmanship of our ancestors that Zhaozhou Bridge has stood tall on the Qingshui River for a long time after wind and rain, and the world can see its style.
The ticket is a bit expensive. To be honest, I don't remember how it was described in the textbook. When I was doing homework, I found out that it was one of the four famous bridges! Since it is named, I can't miss it. I hope Xiaopang can really appreciate every word and sentence in the textbook!
Before I came here, I just wanted to see this bridge. After I came here, I only remember that I had a lot of fun on this river. The whole river has been blocked and the water has frozen. It was my first time walking on the river. I was so scared and excited! So this is what it feels like to walk on ice. I was afraid that I would slip, but fortunately it was okay. In this way, we walked directly from the ice to the other side. It was quite exciting. In addition, for the introduction of Zhaozhou Bridge, you can see the pictures by yourself. You will know!
