During my visit to Kaifeng, what impressed me most in the Qingming Shanghe Park was the warm night on earth thousands of years ago - the sound of rowing in the hazy moonlight, the hot smoke from delicious dishes in the bright lights, the lively singing and dancing stages, the picturesque palaces and pavilions... If you ask me to describe what kind of scene is like the Tokyo Dream during the Northern Song Dynasty, it must of course be a beautiful moonlit night with dim lights.

The lights were turned on in the scenic area before it got dark, creating a bright atmosphere. After dinner, there were fewer tourists than during the day. I was curious why so many people didn't stay to dance. The Qingming Riverside Park at night was clearly a hundred times more beautiful than during the day.

If you want to enjoy the night view in the park, you can choose to live in the park like I did.

At night, the Qingming Riverside Park lacks the dazzling market scene during the day, but has more contours outlined by lights. Before departure, I only roughly understood that the Qingming Riverside Park is a park that replicates the Qingming Riverside Painting at a 1:1 ratio, so I originally planned to go there to take pictures and play with the buildings... Unexpectedly, it is more like "Dreams of the Capital" than "Along the River During the Qingming Festival", and I don't know where to start. In the words of my husband Monkey, staying in this park for two days is "busy and chattering" every day - all kinds of small activities and performances come one after another, and you can't finish watching them, which can give you a very full schedule. All the staff are drama queens, hawking and rowing, performing, not to mention wearing ancient costumes, but also talking in a very dramatic way.

Before the park opened at 9 o'clock, the park entrance was already crowded with people. I was particularly glad that I didn't make a lazy plan to watch the park even when it opened. The essence of the Qingming Riverside Park tour needs to be pointed out first, which is to persevere in participating in all the activities with people in the park! At first, I thought it was just a variety of performances, what was there to watch, but in the end, I didn't expect that I would enjoy this activity all the way through. There were laughs, tears, and knowledge points. You can't miss any of them.

In order to ensure the auditory effect, most of the performances in the park are dubbed in advance and played publicly, so I saw the actors lip-syncing accurately, which was actually quite good... At this time, the tourists entering the park gathered on the most famous Rainbow Bridge in "Along the River During the Qingming Festival", and the actors were scattered on the river bank and various places on the river, performing hard in the play, each of them really having their own job in the painting.

The whole park is designed for you to take photos! There are no restricted areas for taking photos, and there are all kinds of props for taking photos, whether they are free or paid.

It is a well-developed theme park. Tickets are purchased by following the Qingming Riverside Park official account on WeChat. You can enter the park by swiping your ID card, eliminating the trouble of queuing to buy tickets. The official account also has a daily performance schedule and a colorful guide map with the location of the performance and information such as the next few minutes of the performance, which is clear at a glance.

The Qingming Riverside Park is holding a Lantern Festival. Lanterns can be seen everywhere, and it is beautiful when the lights are turned on at night.

The disadvantage of visiting the garden during the Spring Festival is that there are so many people that you have to squeeze in to see anything. We basically followed the guide map and walked all the way. There were performances to watch at every place. But there were too many people during the Spring Festival. However, when we got there, the stands were all full and we were not allowed to enter. Even the rockery next to it was full of people. We found a seat at the entrance of the training ground. Although we could only see the horse's butt, we could see Yue Fei and the Little Liang King up close ⊙∀⊙!

This is the last city I visited, a historical capital. I only had one day, so I visited here during the day. I won't post more photos, or it will be considered a spoiler, but it's still very exciting.

I was in a hurry to play at that time, and left at 1 o'clock in the afternoon to catch the train. To be honest, this scenic spot is worth visiting. You can spend a whole day here, slowly savoring and feeling it. In the evening, you can also watch the large-scale performance "Song Dynasty · Tokyo Dreams". Kaifeng is an ancient capital with a long history. There are many scenic spots that I have not visited. For such an ancient capital, don't be like me. Where there is history, there must be many stories.

Qingming Riverside Park is a tourist attraction that my colleagues strongly recommend to me. The ticket does not include the evening performance, so it is a bit expensive. At the entrance, the staff and merchants in the park are all dressed in ancient costumes, which is very atmospheric.

There is a show every 5-10 minutes, and the show density is quite high. There are also times when there are too many people to see the show. If you want to watch all the shows, it may take a whole day.

We bought the tickets at the self-service counter at the door, and then waited there to watch the doors opening at 9 o'clock. In fact, it is better to go in first, as the show is only for a few minutes, and you can just look out from the railing inside the door. When we finished watching the show outside, there were so many people queuing to get in that by the time we got in, the stilt show at the next venue was almost over, and there were so many people that we couldn't squeeze in.

During the National Day holiday, people are everywhere. On this day, people rush to watch various performances, such as folk skills, qigong fire-breathing, royal shadow puppetry, Mr. Wang's recruitment of a son-in-law, the Song Dynasty imperial examination, and Bao Zheng's inspection of cases. However, it is impossible to watch all the performances.

Yue Fei challenges the young King of Liang with a spear. This is a must-see. There is one show in the morning and one in the afternoon. I heard that some people come here to grab seats as soon as the doors open. When we went there, we could only watch from the outside.

As a theme cultural park integrating historical and cultural tourism, folk customs tourism, leisure and vacation tourism, fun entertainment tourism and ecological environment tourism, Qingming Shanghe Park is well-known both at home and abroad and has shocked the ancient and modern times. It has a relatively complete reproduction of the style of the ancient Song Dynasty. Not only can you see the scenery, but you can also taste the culture. It is indeed a tourist attraction.

The garden is quite big and fun. There is a free rental of Northern Song Dynasty clothes at the entrance. You can rent a piece of clothing you like to visit the garden. There are various performances and food in the garden, but if you want to watch the large-scale performances in the evening, go in the afternoon. If you travel by yourself, you can hire a guide at the door for 120 yuan. I shared it with two other people.

We rushed to the Qingming Riverside Park. The Chinese Han Garden to the east was not open, but the chrysanthemums at the entrance of the garden were decorated very beautifully. We felt the royal style.

Hanyuan is close to Longting Park, where the imperial palace was located at that time. It is the place where the two emperors once danced and sang. Among the tourists, most are elderly people in their twilight years. Thinking about how they can still travel freely at their age, they may also join this group once they are older.

To be honest, I was a little disappointed the day before I came to Kaifeng... But this Qingming Riverside Park was a pleasant surprise! I think it's awesome, worthy of being a 5A. Whether it's the overall planning of the park's traffic lines, supporting facilities, performance schedules, etc., they are all very attentive. Even the commercial supporting parts are not so abrupt, unlike some scenic spots that are annoying! It rained a little in the morning, and I entered the park at 1:30 in the afternoon. Although the weather was cloudy and a little cold, it was really a pleasant surprise.

Although it is an antique building and lacks a sense of history, it is still nice to visit.

The Qingming Riverside Park is really big, with a lot of performances. I wonder if Henan people like to watch performances? There are shops everywhere in the park, but the shops are quite interesting. There is a children's playground that is very crowded. Overall, it's okay. Just walk around and don't have too high expectations. It's still worth a visit.

Kaifeng's only 5A scenic spot can be regarded as a local version of China's Disneyland. There are so many performances and interactive experiences that you may encounter one or two performances without special arrangements. It is a great choice for parent-child travel. The ticket price is relatively expensive, but it is worth it overall. It is recommended to buy it together with the live performance ticket of Dasong Dongjing Menghua, which is equivalent to buying a performance ticket and giving away a big ticket. The average price is about 260, which is more appropriate. It is recommended to visit the park for more than 5 hours and watch the live performance for 1 hour. There are still many activities and light shows after sunset, so it is not necessary to visit during the day.

I really like the slow life in Kaifeng. I have been to Qingming Shanghe Park at least ten times. Every time I have a different feeling. Tokyo Menghua is shocking, touching and unforgettable.

I strongly recommend the haunted house, which was long enough with few people. It is best to visit according to the schedule listed on the map, otherwise it would be boring to just walk around.

I went there on Saturday, and there were still many people. It was already noon when I arrived, so I didn't see the morning performance. The garden is very clean, the scenery is beautiful, the service staff are all dressed in Hanfu, and the infrastructure is very complete. I watched the Battle of Tokyo in the afternoon, which was super shocking and made me feel what it means to be in dire straits. The gun picking up the little Liang Wang is very drama-like, and the people who sang the last Man Jiang Hong were excited. There were few people watching the dragon boat race, but the actors were very responsible. Bao Gong's river patrol was very friendly. It would be better if there were more affordable hotels or inns in the scenic area. It was very pleasant to watch the night view at Hongqiao in the wind. It is a place worth visiting.

To be honest, the tickets cost more than 100 yuan just to watch the performance. When buying the ticket, you must take a guide book. It is recommended to play for a day. First, take a walk around the park, and then after getting familiar with each place, watch the performances in the afternoon according to the order of performances. It is very exciting. I recommend the programs Yue Fei's spear challenge to the young Liang King and the Battle of the Song Dynasty. I didn't watch the Tokyo Dream in the evening due to time constraints. It is said that there are thousands of performers and it should be very good.

Due to work reasons, I could only stay in Kaifeng for one day. I went to Kaifeng Mansion in the morning and arrived at Qingming Riverside Park at 1 pm. Why did I arrange it this way? It was mainly because of the recommendation on Fengfeng. The afternoon show can basically cover all the performances.



Venue: Not as big as expected, but you won’t get bored playing there for a whole day.

Environment: The cities in the Central Plains are not as exquisite as the water towns in the south of the Yangtze River, but this garden is still very good, both in terms of green plant coverage and variety.

Charges: Except for the slightly more expensive ticket price (120 yuan/person), other charges are relatively standardized, referring to other scenic spots.

Tour suggestions: Follow the performances to visit the scenic area, don't wander around by yourself, otherwise you will miss a lot of interesting things. Basically, the performances are concentrated in the main tourist areas. If there are many tourists, it is recommended to walk faster, otherwise you will not be able to get a seat at all.

Scenic spot features:

1. Free rental of Song Dynasty costumes, you can rent them on the right hand side of the entrance. The scenic area is rented for a fee, of course it is better to look at it. 50 yuan within one hour, 100 yuan for unlimited time, and 200 yuan for purchase.

2. Special performances: The projects that you must not miss include the Battle of Tokyo, Yue Fei's spear against the Little Overlord; special projects include the drum at the entrance, folk performances in the Song Dynasty, Wang Yuanwai's embroidered ball to recruit a bride, and the imperial examinations in the Song Dynasty. Because there were too many people, it was impossible to get close to Bao Gong's patrol case, and it was not very clear.

3. The water cruise route is not long, but the fee is not expensive. Camel riding, sightseeing carriages, etc. are also available.

I want to complain:

1. Battle of Tokyo, give me a chair! Give me a chair! Give me a chair! More than 90% of the people sat on stones, steps, and the ground. The viewing area was seriously lacking in infrastructure, with too few sunshades and trash cans. The above reasons caused the front row customers to stand up to watch, while the back row customers could not see anything, and the experience was very poor. In addition, there was a delay between the actors' movements and the sound, you know.

2. The performance time conflicts with the route. If you want to go, be sure to study the map in advance, otherwise you will miss a lot of performances.

3. The parking space is not planned properly. I went to two parking lots and they were full. I had to turn around and look for another one. I finally found one far away, which wasted time. But the fee is really cheap.

4. Urban management level... You know!

A few years ago on Valentine's Day, I went to see the Qingming Riverside Park with my friends. To be honest, it was quite a rip-off. Not only was it expensive, but there was actually nothing fun to do there. Although I am from Kaifeng, I don't particularly recommend this attraction. 😓

Although it is a man-made attraction, since Kaifeng Prefecture has played the card of the Song Dynasty, let's take a look. We found a tour guide to take us on a tour. First, we walked to see the sights, then we could take a boat (charged separately) to see the two sides, and after the girl finished talking, we could watch the performances. Various performances start at different times and locations. Some are performed only once a day, and some are performed several times. You can ask the scenic spot for details, or you can check it online. Performances are available all day long, and you can choose to watch them according to your own time. All performances, except "Dream of Tokyo", are included in the ticket and are not charged separately. You can eat at Tokyo Food Square in between watching various performances.

Not only are the scenery here modeled after the Song Dynasty, but all the staff, whether guides, vendors or cleaners, are dressed in the same style. If you are a fan of Hanfu, you can immediately immerse yourself in the drama. The boat ticket is charged per person, and you can take a water tour to the waters where "Dream of the East" is performed. The architectural layout here is planned according to "Along the River During the Qingming Festival". Many buildings can be found in the same prototype in that famous painting, even the plaques and couplets are the same. This Shiqianjiao store is a very obvious example.

It feels okay, but it has too much commercial flavor.

They are all artificial buildings. Except for the performances, they are almost like parks. They are extremely commercialized! Although everyone is wearing Hanfu, the problem is that the aunties and uncles can't show their beauty. I really want to ask if 5A is the evaluation of internal staff? Is it hype?

It is more interesting than I thought. Although it is a complete reconstruction with few traces of the old time, the whole Qingming Riverside Park scenic area still has a strong sense of participation by tourists.

Qingming Riverside Park is the best scenic spot in Kaifeng. If you want to explore the whole park and watch the small theater, you need more than 6 hours.

Dongjing Menghua, I was not impressed by the large-scale song and dance performances. Instead, the most memorable thing was the appearance of all the actors. On the long embankment in front of me, there were acrobats, cake sellers, weddings, etc. All kinds of livelihood activities merged into a vivid picture of the Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival.

The park is quite big, and if time is tight, half a day is enough (without watching the show). There are all kinds of CP characters. The children's playground is quite interesting.

Qingming Riverside Park is still worth visiting. It should be quite pleasant to go there on normal days. It feels good to travel through time. There are too many people on National Day. It is difficult to wear Song Dynasty costumes and it is too difficult to queue up to watch performances. But it is still very beautiful.

Don't go during holidays. I went there during the National Day holiday. First of all, it was very congested. Baidu Maps is unreliable. There was no display of various control and blocking. Parking was very difficult. The parking lot in the scenic area was 5 yuan, and the private parking outside asked for random prices. The air in Kaifeng is not good. After half a day, my face was covered with dirt and there were a lot of flies. Fortunately, you can scan the QR code on WeChat to buy tickets. You have to queue up to enter the door. There are people inside. It's hard to walk, not to mention the performances. I didn't see any performances. There were people everywhere. I couldn't see them at all. I spent 120 yuan to visit a big park. It was tiring and hot. It was not worth it. There are many small paid items inside. For example, taking pictures, taking a boat, riding a horse, etc. There are many small vendors eating, but they are relatively dirty. There are two pieces of paper behind each stall, which are densely covered with flies. There are many bees and insects in the yard, and they have to be fanned constantly. There is a place for children to play inside, but it is built on the land. When there are many people, the sand is flying. PM2.5 is absolutely off the charts. It's too dirty. I don't know what it's like on weekdays, but it was really boring to go there this time.

The scenic area is very low-end, all newly built, and very stingy. The only attraction may be the appearance of the park staff, which is more immersive.

Especially the evening performance included in the package, it felt like a high-end amateur troupe. The lights from the surrounding modern buildings kept interfering with the picture, the music, dance and scenery of the show were all bad, and there was even an auction of calligraphy and paintings before it started.

The 280 package we bought was totally not worth it!

The ticket price is 100 yuan, which is not too little.

It is an antique building, but it would be a shame if I didn’t come.

However, it was the Qingming Festival holiday, so it was still very lively inside.

The whole garden is beautifully decorated.

The overall layout of the park is very exquisite. The buildings and the water environment are well combined.

Some of the venues and buildings also contain a lot of introductions to Kaifeng’s proudest history – the Song Dynasty.

The shop assistants and street vendors are all dressed in Song Dynasty costumes. There are different performances at different times, which is very lively. It is a good place to visit. I walked around in Hanfu, as if I was traveling through time. I went there because of its reputation, and more importantly, I wanted to see the live performance of "Song Dynasty. Dongjing Menghua" at night. In general, although the lighting background design is not as good as Lao Mouzi's Impression Liu Sanjie, it is still worth seeing because of its rich historical and cultural heritage. My favorite part of the song is "Poetry of Breaking the Array". Mu Guiying, dressed in military uniform, comes galloping on a white horse. She tightens the reins, and the white horse raises its front legs and roars. Mu Guiying turns around handsomely, and music starts: "I look at my sword by lamplight when I am drunk, and I blow the horn in my dreams when I am in the camp. The roasted meat is distributed to my subordinates for eight hundred miles, and the fifty strings play the sound of the frontier. The soldiers are recruited in the autumn battlefield. The horse is as fast as Lu, and the bow is as loud as thunder. I have accomplished the king's affairs and won a reputation in my lifetime and after my death. What a pity that my hair has turned white." The soldiers who followed Mu Guiying galloped past on their horses. The posture of the horses galloping was so handsome!

Tour suggestion: I bought the ticket and performance ticket package on China-TravelNote, which was much cheaper and quite cost-effective.

I arrived at the gate at 6:30 pm and bought a ticket for the second show of Tokyo Dream Hua, which was from 9 to 11 pm, for 239 yuan. The first show was sold out, and only the VIP seats were left. But the second show was about 40% full. It also includes a boat ticket, but you have to queue. Many shows were performed during the day, so it was a pity that I didn't see them. I only saw 3 shows at night.

In particular, the live performances here are very creative. Liangzi’s favorite performance is Yue Fei’s spear against the young Liang King, which is very attractive. Kaifeng's top tourist attraction. It is recommended to enter the park during the day to watch the show. Although you can get half price after 18:00, the show will be over, which is a bit regrettable. Don't be stingy with a few dozen dollars if you have come from afar.

Qingming Shanghe Park is an amusement park modeled on the ruins. The ruins have sunk. The ticket is half price at 60, which is great value! You can play for a whole day. Once you enter, you will feel like you are traveling through time. The employees all wear ancient clothes, and the buildings and everything are ancient. There are many performances, and each time period is different. It is best to come in the morning when the park opens. Bao Gong and the employees will have a ceremony together to welcome everyone.

There is an automatic ticket vending machine at the entrance of the park. I would like to remind all my friends that if they want to watch the large-scale live performance "Dream of Tokyo" at night, they can buy tickets directly to enter the park. Fortunately, I asked the staff for the first time, otherwise I almost bought the admission ticket first and then the performance ticket. This is the loss of not making a good strategy in advance. When buying tickets, the ticket seller will give a garden map (the time and location of each performance are detailed, and there are recommended programs) and a small fan, which is very considerate. It was more than 3 o'clock in the afternoon when we entered the park, and the performances that were only performed in the morning could not be seen, but fortunately many performances will be performed several times. Looking at the entire garden, the main areas to be visited are concentrated in the south, and the time arrangement of various performances is very reasonable, so that tourists can connect without wasting time. I mainly recommend everyone to watch Yue Fei's spear picking up the little Liang Wang, the Song Dynasty. The Battle of Tokyo and the Song Dynasty's unique skills. The various attractions, exhibition halls and shops in the park can make you spend a whole day without realizing it. There is also a free rental of Hanfu in the park. You can often see staff and tourists wearing ancient costumes, which makes you feel like you are traveling through time.

The performance of "Dreams of the Eastern Capital" officially began at 8:15 p.m. Eight classic Song poems and a painting of "Along the River During the Qingming Festival" linked together this performance showing the rise and fall of the Northern Song Dynasty. After watching it, one could not help but sigh, "Once you step into the painting, you will dream back a thousand years in a day."

Walk along Longting South Road and Longting West Road along the Yangjia Lake for about half an hour to reach Qingming Riverside Park. Qingming Riverside Park is a large-scale Song Dynasty cultural real-life theme park built based on the painter Zhang Zeduan's "Along the River During the Qingming Festival". Construction began in July 1992 and it was officially opened to the public on October 28, 1998. It is a 5A scenic spot. Many tourists are not interested in Qingming Shanghe Park because it is a contemporary imitation of ancient buildings. In fact, Kaifeng has experienced wars, fires, and floods to varying degrees in history. There are not many authentic Song Dynasty relics preserved in the city. Things like Tianbo Mansion and Kaifeng Mansion were imitated later. Furthermore, the architectural style and layout of Qingming Shanghe Park completely reproduce the scenery of the original painting with a high degree of realism, and it has the charm of Song Dynasty architecture. Even if it is a authentic Song Dynasty relic, it should have been repaired many times today. So why bother about whether it is "real Song" or "imitation Song"? Therefore, in my personal opinion, Kaifeng's imitation Song Dynasty Qingming Shanghe Park is still worth a visit.

In fact, I think I should play for one day and watch all the performances. The performance was very good. There were also shows in the evening. We didn't have enough time, so we played for an afternoon. But since we are here, why not have a deep tour? Haha, have a good time. The scenery inside is also very beautiful. It is much better than I imagined.

I didn't have high expectations after reading the reviews, but I found many unexpected surprises after the visit. The two large-scale performances, the Battle of Tokyo and Yue Fei's spear picking up the young Liang King, were very good. There were many performances to watch. We started visiting at 2 pm and continued until 7 pm, watching the performances while walking. If you want to watch a performance, you can pay attention to the performance time in advance. Some performances are held once a day, and some have many performances. You can arrange it according to your own situation.

There is only one east gate to go out!!! (In fact, the east gate here is the southeast gate shown on the map) I was so drunk that I walked around for a long time before I found the door.

I didn't do any research. I thought it was a small garden, but it turned out to be quite big. I didn't even know there were performances here! I wondered why the ticket price was so expensive! The hostel owner also said that it would take a whole day to play here. I didn't believe it. Later I checked the performance time online, and then watched two performances (shadow play and Yue Fei vs. Little Liang King). There is a night view performance here at night, with separate tickets.

There was a chime performance with tea (charged) on the side. It hadn't started yet when I went there, and there was a young lady playing the piano.

To be precise, it should be a whole day of fun as there will be a performance in the evening. I didn't plan well, so I can't blame others. Everyone should take this as a warning.

After navigating to the destination, I found that there was an intersection that was under martial law (east to west) because of the holiday, so I parked the car in an informal parking space on the roadside and was charged 10 yuan for parking. After getting off the car, I found that I was parked on the east side of Longting Lake Park, which is actually at least a kilometer away from Qingming Riverside Park.

The purpose of Qingming Shanghe Park is basically to watch the performance. If you don’t go in when the performance starts, it won’t be worth it.
