Luoyang Museum

Luoyang Museum echoes with the city's landmark buildings such as the Central Plains Pearl TV Tower. The new building looks like a big tripod, which means "establishing the capital in Luoyang".
The museum consists of a main building and an auxiliary building. The main building has two floors. The first floor is a general exhibition, and the second floor is the museum's boutique exhibition.
The new museum exhibits more than 11,000 cultural relics, including local unearthed cultural relics and a number of treasures transferred from the Palace Museum.

It's really really good. If there are many museums, there are only a few with such a profound historical heritage as Lobo. Lobo is near the Municipal TV Company, opposite the Sui and Tang Dynasty Ruins Botanical Garden. No tickets are required but tickets need to be exchanged. The tour time is about 3 hours.

The Lobo Museum is divided into five major halls, of which the first, second and third halls are arranged in chronological order, while the sculpture hall is more distinctive, and the treasure hall on the second floor is the treasure of treasures. Lobo Museum has five major treasures in the museum, and you must see them all.

Lobo offers free tours, but many of them are volunteers. Although they are diligent, their skills are limited. The tour guides in green vests are professional and worth listening to carefully. Among them, there is a thin female tour guide who is very skilled and treats guests very well. It would be best if you can follow her. I don't know her specific name, but she is about 170cm tall, very thin, does not wear glasses, and carries a turquoise crossbody bag. You can go in and find her.

The earliest exhibits in Lobo are from four to five thousand years ago, including Peiligang, Heluo, and Yichuan cultures, as well as Sui, Tang, and Song cultures. It is very rich.

After having a full meal and feeling energetic, I went to visit the museum.

When you arrive in the sacred city of Luoyang, you must of course visit the local museums and learn about the history of this ancient capital of 13 dynasties.

There are several museums in Luoyang, and we decided to visit the comprehensive Luoyang Museum first.

The museum is free, you only need to exchange your ID card for a ticket to visit. The exhibition hall is very large, with many collections, and there is a special exhibition hall that displays national first-class cultural relics.

Most importantly, just like the National Museum, Luoyang Museum has many volunteers who give free explanations, and they are very good at it. Just like the grandfather in the photo below, he is a retired teacher. Look how seriously my daughter is listening.

Luoyang Museum is located on the central axis of the city, with the beautiful Luopu Park to the north and the Sui and Tang City Ruins Botanical Garden, which has taken shape in the south. Adopting the design concept of "Standing in the World", the overall appearance of the building is in the shape of a large tripod, supported by an asymmetrical spatial structure, and drawing on gardening techniques to set up courtyards and light wells at the turning points of the square streamline, the spatial layout achieves a dynamic balance. The exhibition halls of Luoyang Museum include a basic exhibition of Heluo Civilization and seven special exhibitions: Treasure Hall, Han and Tang Dynasty Pottery Hall, Tang Sancai Hall, Stone Carving Hall, Calligraphy and Painting Hall, Wang Xiu Peony Art Hall, and Peony Flower City Specialty Exhibition

By Freedom to go |

Luoyang Museum made an appointment three days in advance through the "Smart Luobo Mini Program". Tickets are free and you can enter the museum by swiping your ID card. There are also paid exhibition areas in the museum, but we didn't visit them. Permanent exhibitions of Luoyang Museum: Heluo Civilization Exhibition, Stone Carving Museum, Calligraphy and Painting Museum, Han and Tang Pottery Museum, Treasure Museum, Tang Sancai Museum, etc. We mainly visited the Heluo Civilization Exhibition, Stone Carving Museum, Treasure Museum, and Tang Sancai Museum. Although we went there at the end of April, there were not a few people in the museum, and there were many young ladies in Tang suits taking pictures in the museum, which was very adaptable. It is best to find an explanation when visiting a museum, so that you can not only read the descriptions of the exhibits, but also learn a lot of history and related stories. A museum worth visiting.

Luoyang Museum is located on Nietai Road, Luolong District, Luoyang City, covering an area of 300 acres and a construction area of 62,000 square meters, including 42,000 square meters above ground and 20,000 square meters underground. The total investment is 350 million yuan. It is a comprehensive museum integrating cultural relics collection, scientific research, display and exhibition, social education and cultural exchange.

Luoyang Museum was founded in 1958. It has six major thematic exhibitions, including the large-scale basic exhibition "Heluo Civilization" and the "Treasure Exhibition", "Han and Tang Dynasty Pottery Exhibition", "Tang Sancai Exhibition", "Palace Cultural Relics Exhibition", "Stone Carving Art Exhibition" and "Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition", with an exhibition area of 17,000 square meters. The museum has a collection of 20,315 cultural relics, including 5,406 precious cultural relics.

Luoyang Museum is one of the first national first-class museums, an excellent patriotism education base in Henan Province, and a research and travel practice base for primary and secondary schools in Henan Province.

Generally speaking, I only visit provincial-level museums, but Luoyang Museum is unrivaled among municipal-level museums and is a must-see. It is better than many provincial-level museums.

By Playing around |

I feel that no matter whether it is a big dynasty or a small dynasty, or even just a separatist regime, as long as it is a city that had a capital in ancient times, the quality of the museum is quite good, not to mention a famous ancient capital like Luoyang, where the collections in the treasure exhibition hall are the most exquisite.

By Magic City Real Detective Flower Cat |

There is an old saying: To understand a city, you must start with its museums. Luoyang Museum is definitely one of the most worthwhile places to visit during my trip to Luoyang. The collection is really rich. If you visit every museum carefully, it will definitely take a whole day.

By Bai Xiaoxixi |

Regarding the tour guides, I would like to remind everyone first: the paid tour guides on Dianping are not official and have nothing to do with the official website. They are all posted by suppliers of travel agencies, which misleads many tourists. Official tour guides can only be purchased on-site in the lobby, but you can basically forget about it during the peak season. It would be great if there are one or two electronic tour guides left.

Here I have to talk about the cheap and good treasure teacher Pan we invited this time. How could my mother and I be so lucky to go out!! Just when I was at a loss as to how to explain the matter, I found Teacher Pan, who has 27 years of museum experience and specializes in leading parent-child groups. Nearly three hours of senior explanation, only 60 yuan per person!! Moreover, the activity was over, the headphones were returned and it was time to say goodbye, but the teacher did not mention the payment, this this this . . .

Just the price makes me want to kneel down. The big names on Taobao all charge more than 200 yuan per person, and there are 20 people in a group. Teacher Pan charges 60 yuan, and there are only 10 children. You can listen first and then pay. The lectures are easy to understand for children, in-depth and interesting. It is really worth it!

There are many national treasures in the Luoyang Museum. After Mr. Pan’s three-hour explanation, Duomi and I stayed for another two hours to check for omissions and re-scan the first and second floors. Therefore, Luoyang Museum is worth reserving most of your time.

The office closes at 5pm, so please plan your visit accordingly! Why do almost all the museums I have visited close at 5pm? It is too early. It would be better if it were 6pm...

There is little vacant land on the top of the northern Mang Mountain, which is filled with old tombs of people from Luoyang. Luoyang has gathered hundreds of thousands of ancient tombs of various types from various periods since the Neolithic period. The Luoyang Ancient Tomb Museum is located in the Northern Wei Imperial Tombs area of Mang Mountain.

How good is this museum? It is really dedicated to popularizing knowledge about tomb culture, starting from the Neolithic Age and ending at the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is very systematic, concise and interesting. It is a comprehensive embodiment of the tomb system, culture, philosophy and aesthetics.

After reading the history of the development of tomb culture in the first exhibition hall, looking at the 25 relocated and restored tombs in the second exhibition hall, the on-site feeling couldn't be more real. Then the murals and brick carvings in the third and fourth exhibition halls are purely a beautiful enjoyment.

It is recommended to visit Luoyang Museum and Henan Museum together for better results.

By Liz |

A relatively exciting municipal museum, it is endorsed by Wang Yibo, and with its combination of traffic and strength, it attracts quite a lot of visitors.

Among the treasures in Lobo's museum, the most eye-catching one is the white jade cup.

"A cup of white jade and green willows in March". The pure white and moist white jade cup carved from Hetian jade makes people feel the superb craftsmanship of ancient times.

It only takes a few minutes to get to Luoyang Museum by taxi from the hotel. Just get a number on their official account in advance. You need to check it before entering. As an ancient capital of 13 dynasties like Xi'an, the museum is definitely a must-visit. While appreciating the historical changes of Chinese civilization, you can also see what these masters buried thousands of years ago! Let's go in~

Let's get back to the point. If you want to come to this museum and not just take a quick look and hope to gain some gains or inspiration, I personally think you still need to cooperate with the explanation and mobile phone search, so that you can better know the details of the exhibits, so as to combine the historical background of the exhibits and try to communicate with it across time and space. Times are changing, but human nature remains unchanged. Maybe there will be some unexpected inspiration that will bring you great gains. (I have to complain here. The signs of the exhibits in this museum don't even have a concise description of what the things are used for. Some of them don't even have words that can be recognized. Do you still want me to guess what it is used for? What? Does the museum only allow professionals to visit?)

There is a rental cabinet for the audio guide in the lobby. It costs 20 yuan per machine, plus a deposit of 100 yuan, and 80 yuan will be refunded when you leave. It is completely self-service and suitable for people with social anxiety.

Luoyang, known as the "Oriental Museum Capital", has 102 museums. The most prominent one is the Luoyang Museum. Its collection is top-notch. As a museum in a prefecture-level city, it is not inferior to provincial-level museums. Friends who intend to visit Luoyang should not miss it.

Luoyang's profound cultural heritage has created the unique collection of Luoyang Museum. Luoyang Museum perfectly displays the brilliant culture of the ancient capital of 13 dynasties, allowing you to enjoy a feast of history and culture. Among them, the collections of the Treasure Hall, Tang Sancai Hall, Stone Carving Hall, and Palace Cultural Relics Hall are the most exciting. The treasures of the Treasure Hall will open your eyes, the Tang Sancai Hall's Tang Sancai is colorful and stunning, the tomb carvings in the Stone Carving Hall are breathtaking, and the exquisite Qing Dynasty artifacts in the Palace Cultural Relics Hall give people a sense of dizzying.

By Danny |

Although the specifications of Luoyang Museum are not as good as those of Henan Museum, the collections inside are really not to be underestimated. It is worthy of being a museum of the ancient capital of 13 dynasties. It takes most of the day to visit it properly, and the geographical location is also very convenient. It is worth recommending.

By Sitting Alone in Bixi |

"The Luoyang Museum has a spacious building and a rich collection of artifacts. Not to mention the bronze artifacts and Tang Sancai artifacts, I also saw the belongings of Empress Dowager Cixi, which was an eye-opener."

By Hellofish |

As expected, there are many cultural relics and historical sites in the ancient capital of 13 dynasties. Luoyang Museum is worth a visit. Among the 13 exhibition halls, the most worth seeing are the Luoyang Treasures Exhibition Hall and the Palace Cultural Relics Exhibition Hall. The five treasures of the museum include the Eastern Han Dynasty Stone Evil-Repelling, the Tang Dynasty Tri-color Black Glaze Horse, the Cao Wei White Jade Cup, and the Qing Dynasty Golden Silk Nanmu Pagoda. Another Xia Dynasty Nipple-patterned Bronze Jue was probably borrowed and not seen. The Palace Cultural Relics Exhibition displays Buddhist objects and daily utensils from the Cining Palace of the Forbidden City in Beijing, which were transferred from the Beijing Palace Museum in 1973 by Premier Zhou Enlai.

By Costa Rica |

As the ancient capital of 13 dynasties, Luoyang has a very long history. The appearance of the museum is also very imposing, but the exhibits inside lack famous items. Even the treasure house does not have any famous cultural relics. It is much worse than the Shaanxi Museum in Xi'an, so there are relatively few people. However, it is still good to understand the historical succession of Luoyang

By Xiao Bing 88 |

As one of the four ancient capitals, Luoyang has always been rich in cultural heritage. The newly built Luoyang Museum is also a must-visit place for tourists in Luoyang! The newly built venue also has good service, and there are volunteers who give free regular explanations.

By Fairytale CORN |

The next day, I wanted to go to Luoyang Museum. However, since I was traveling alone, I was more casual and didn't check the guide. As a result, when I arrived at the entrance of Luoyang Museum, I found that it was Monday. It was really stupid. Monday is usually the day when the museum is closed. I could only cry at the entrance.

By Duedue Paradise (Du) |

Starting from Luoyang Station, it is very convenient to take bus No. 77 to the museum in six stops. It opens at 9 o'clock and you can go out at 1 o'clock in the afternoon. The best parts are the Heluo Civilization Exhibition on the first floor and the Treasure House and Tang Sancai Hall on the second floor. The colors of the Sancai are bright and beautiful. This trip is very rewarding. The only regret is that the white jade cup is on display outside.

By Jiao Youyou |

It is said that the entrance fee is free, but you cannot enter without an appointment in advance. It is full, and you need to pay 50 yuan per person for the tour guide fee to enter the museum!

By Scholar's spirit |

The museum is divided into two floors. The first floor focuses on the Heluo culture. The second floor of the museum is where important cultural relics are exhibited.

By Arslan |

There are still many things in the Tang Shendu Museum. Of course, it is recommended to visit it together with the nearby Erlitou Museum and Henan Provincial Museum.

By Haha big monkey |

The light and shadow studio is very good. You can also experience Qimen Dunjia with your children.

By madman |

The museum's treasure house is worth a visit, and the Tang Sancai is even more beautiful~

By A seagull |

The Tang Sancai and bronze ware in the museum are very exquisite. The transportation is convenient. There are direct buses to Longmen High-speed Railway Station, Luoyang Station and the airport.

By China-TravelNote users |

Fortunately, I packed my ID card in a small bag before leaving. It is worth coming, worthy of being the ancient capital of 13 dynasties.

By Take you to see the sea |

It's worth going, especially the treasure house on the second floor, where you can exchange tickets with your ID card.

By Where is the umbrella? |

There are a large number of exquisite collections inside. As one of the ancient capitals, there are certainly many treasures underground. It is no less worth seeing than the Shaanxi Museum. If you go there with an appreciative eye, you will discover a lot of beauty.

By China-TravelNote users |

The people of Luoyang are really lucky to have such a good museum. It is also a blessing for tourists to Luoyang (free). The collection is very rich and exquisite, worthy of being an ancient capital of several dynasties.

By The sea waves are like the sound of swords and spears |

The free ones are the most expensive. The Shendu Luoyang Museum is the biggest highlight. The peony in the botanical garden opposite is pretty good. I like the traffic police. They are very friendly to people from other places who are not familiar with the road conditions and want to park during the short holiday. In contrast, the villagers in Pingyao stood on the side of the road and asked to park for 30 yuan each time.

By Yangyangyang is very lazy |

The exhibits are rich, mainly the historical evolution of Luoyang City

By The rest of my life is a holiday |

If you go to Luoyang, you should really go to the Luoyang Museum. Anyway, you don’t need a ticket. You can feel the former glory of Luoyang through these precious cultural relics.

By Qifang |

It is free to visit and the collection is very rich. I personally think that the value of visiting is no less than that of Longmen Grottoes.

Especially in summer, when air conditioning is plentiful, it’s perfect for visiting museums.

By JOJO |

The treasure exhibition and Tang Sancai exhibition are highly recommended and worth seeing.

By Zheng Sanding |

Luoyang Museum is open from 09:00 to 17:00. It is free but not ticket-free. It is a national first-class museum. Its collection features jade, bronze, stone carvings, Han Dynasty pottery figurines, Tang Dynasty tri-colored glazed pottery, and Qing Dynasty court supplies, etc., with more than 11,000 cultural relics on display.

By inging |

The Luoyang Museum was a bit deserted in the deep winter, with very few tourists and staff. I didn't see any open exhibition halls on the second floor, so it was fun to visit.

The feeling of entering the door is that Luoyang Museum is more grand. Luoyang Museum has a rich collection. It takes about 2 hours to visit all the exhibition halls. If you have time, you can visit more. At the same time, there are many parks near Luoyang Museum, and Sui and Tang City Ruins Park is the closest to Luoyang Museum.

By 灬比のshoreヤ |

It’s a bit far from the center of Luoyang;

The museum has a classical appearance while still being grand. Visitors can visit for free by exchanging their ID card for tickets (it is closed on Mondays, except for holidays).

Many of them are national treasures, so be sure to go and see them if you have time.

By A Hao can't get fat |

It is a bit far from the center of Luoyang, but this is a very good municipal museum. After all, Luoyang is one of the four ancient capitals, and there are many national treasures in the museum. I personally like the bronze cup from the Xia Dynasty and the white jade cup from the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties.

By Small clear |

The best attractions in Luoyang during the National Day Golden Week are Longmen Grottoes and Luoyang Museum. The appearance of the museum has a classical charm and is atmospheric. The museum is free to visit and you need to exchange tickets with your ID card. Since it is the Golden Week, you will have to queue up for a long time. However, I recommend that you don't rush to the ticket office to exchange tickets. There is a self-service ticket exchange machine on the left side of the museum entrance, which is very convenient. Because it is a long holiday, there are no explanations, but there are explanation machines for rent. Entering the museum, the collections are displayed in order of historical dynasties. The museum has two floors, but it is very large and has many collections. Each collection is worth stopping for a long time. I didn't finish the first day, and went to the second floor on the second day. From pottery to bronze, jade to tri-color, calligraphy and painting to stone carvings, people have to sigh at the historical heritage of Luoyang, the ancient capital. The treasure house on the second floor is highly recommended, and the collections are exquisite. If you like historical relics, Luoyang Museum will meet your various needs.

By Modori's Travel Diary |

Luoyang Museum has a large collection of rich variety, but there are too few tour guides.

By Footprints in the Snow |

The museum entrance fee is free but you need to swipe your ID card. Since it was the weekend, there were at least two groups of children's social education activities (one group was a children's audio explanation without a power off or pause button, and some of the important artifacts were even recited by children; the other group was looking for cultural relics and collecting stickers), which caused the entire treasure hall (which collects the largest, most exquisite, best preserved, and most valuable cultural relics) to be overcrowded and bustling. The cultural relics were okay.

By Small tank |

The first stop in Luoyang is great, with many fine products.

By The Second Miss |

The museum has two floors, and the exhibition halls are divided according to dynasties. There is also a temporary exhibition hall on the first floor and a treasure hall on the second floor. We didn't have much time, so we started our museum journey from the most essential treasure hall.

There are so many collections in the museum that it is impossible to visit them all in two or three hours. Unfortunately, due to our tight schedule, there are still many cultural relics in the museum that we have not seen. I hope to have the opportunity to come to Luoyang again, and I will definitely set aside a lot of time to visit them carefully.

By Keep walking |

Remember to eat before going to Luoyang Museum. There is nothing to eat around Luoyang Museum. There is a park opposite and planning halls around it. It is quite desolate.

There are two floors in total, and the layout is really chaotic. I feel that such a huge building is not well utilized. It can be seen that the signboard of Luoyang Museum is Tang Sancai, and there are also pottery figurines, etc., which are still underground.

By On the Road |

The current Luoyang Museum is a new building built in recent years. The museum focuses on displaying the history of Luoyang as the ancient capital of 13 dynasties. There are many precious cultural relics unearthed in Luoyang, especially the treasure exhibition hall on the second floor. Many of them are national treasures. You must go and see it if you have time.

By 檡~ |

Like most local museums, you can enter by exchanging your ID card for a ticket. There is a service desk on the first floor, and you should be able to rent an audio guide.

The museum has two floors. The first floor is a general exhibition hall divided by age, and the second floor is a calligraphy and painting exhibition and a treasure hall...

If you don't have enough time for the tour, it is strongly recommended that you don't miss the Treasure House on the second floor, where the famous bronze jug with nipple pattern, turquoise bronze plaque ornaments... are all on display.

By Stars and Silent Night |

The best way to learn about a city's history is to go to a museum, especially in a place like Luoyang with a deep history. The environment and exhibits are excellent. The service of the staff is not so good.

By Martian User |

I was the second person to enter the museum when it opened at 9am. The first floor introduced the history of Luoyang. The cultural relics were mainly pottery figurines and celadon. The large stone evil-avoiding stone in the stone carving hall was the treasure of the museum. In fact, more exquisite works were in the boutique hall on the second floor, such as the nipple-patterned bronze wine cup unearthed from Erlitou at the boundary between the Xia and Shang dynasties and the white jade cup from the Han and Wei dynasties. It is worth a visit.

By Smell the rain in the morning |

Luoyang Museum is a collection of exquisite works. It uses cultural relics to vividly show us the social development, aesthetic taste, people's daily life, etc. of each dynasty. I can imagine the prosperity of Luoyang thousands of years ago. You can go to the "Volunteer House" to invite volunteers to give explanations, and you can rent an explanation device in cash (cash is required, the deposit is 200 yuan per device, and the rental is 20 yuan). We didn't bring enough cash at the time, but fortunately the volunteers were very enthusiastic and the explanations were very detailed and wonderful, which made us feel like VIP service. We spent 3-4 hours visiting Luoyang Museum and were still not satisfied.

By Tianni |

It's really good and worth a visit. The Eastern Capital of the Sui and Tang Dynasties and the Western Capital of the Song Dynasty are well-deserved.

By l Kezi |

2018.8.14 The grandfather and I visited Luoyang Museum (a national first-class museum). It was a worthwhile trip. We saw several national treasures and happened to meet a volunteer who gave a very detailed and serious explanation. After visiting so many museums, this was the first time we met a volunteer who gave a explanation. Give it a thumbs up.

By Luuuuucky |

I am used to visiting museums wherever I go.

By Milan by night |

There is a place to store luggage in the museum. The lockers outside can't fit the suitcases, but the reception inside can. Pay 50 yuan and give a sign. There is a large locker inside that can fit a 24-inch suitcase. Personally, I think the collection of Luoyang Museum is not worse than that of Shaanxi History Museum. After all, it is the ancient capital of 13 dynasties. No other city can match its history as an imperial capital. But now, it is hard to find the glory of the past. It is just an ordinary second-tier city. We took a quick look for an hour and a half. There is a No. 77 bus at the door that goes directly to the railway station.

The biggest advantage of Luoyang Museum is that it is small and large. No one will be in the frame when taking a photo.

The Tang Sancai camel has appeared frequently on CCTV and is almost a representative work of Tang Dynasty cultural relics.

The white jade cup from the Cao Wei period is so white that it glows. I really want to own it.

Travel through the dusty history and return to the distant past. The ancient capital of 13 dynasties, the heavy sense of history hits you.

By Tiny & Plum |

The Luoyang Museum looks beautiful from the outside, but it is very empty inside and several halls were not open. We came out in half an hour.

There are many lifelike ancient artworks, which are really amazing. It's a pity that the public services and facilities are not in place, the air conditioning is not cold enough, there are so many children, and there are not enough seats. It is a little far from other attractions in Luoyang, and the transportation is not very convenient. Overall, it is not bad, and these national treasures are worth seeing!

By Heart of the Sea |

This is definitely a great value for money place. The collections of the ancient capital of 13 dynasties are better than those of the Shaanxi History Museum. Super like it

By Precepts |

There were a lot of people at the Luoyang Museum, and many adults brought their children. Although it is a great way to bring children to receive cultural enlightenment, the children were very noisy and many museums on the second floor were not open.

Luoyang Museum is the biggest surprise of the trip to Luoyang. I personally think that Luoyang Museum is comparable to Shaanxi History Museum, and some of its collections are even better than Shaanxi Museum (for example, there are many rare Xia Dynasty cultural relics). The cultural relics inside are all wonderful. I was impressed by a stone stele epitaph that recorded in detail how Yuan Yi, the son of Emperor Xiaowen of the Northern Wei Dynasty, was killed in the court political struggle, which corroborated many plots of the "Heyin Rebellion" in history books. The exhibition hall is very large and feels better built than Shaanxi History Museum. There are few people, and there are many beautiful women among the guides and tourists. You can also see beautiful women while looking at cultural relics.

The museum only requires free entry with an ID card (closed on Mondays, except holidays).

The exhibition halls of Luoyang Museum include a basic display of Heluo civilization and permanent exhibitions such as the Treasure Hall, Han and Tang Dynasty Pottery Hall, Tang Dynasty Tri-color Pottery Hall, Stone Carving Hall, and Calligraphy and Painting Hall, displaying more than 11,000 cultural relics.

Some of the cultural relics in the museum are incomplete, while others are well preserved and still shining. As the seasons change, they just stand quietly in the glass cabinets, being admired and studied by people. I think cultural relics also have souls. When you look at them carefully and experience them, you will find that they are telling their own life experiences in their own way. It is a silent confession of history.

As a municipal museum, it is of excellent quality, and it introduces in detail the history and cultural relics of Luoyang from the Paleolithic Age to the late Song Dynasty. The exhibits are rich enough to compete with some provincial museums, and the supporting facilities in the museum are also very complete. The only drawback is that it is difficult to find clear signs for the tour route after entering the door.

Although it is only a prefecture-level museum, it has a lot of collections. I don't really understand the value of cultural relics, but I was able to find some that interested me. When I went there, there was also an art exhibition, which was also quite good.

Because the Provincial Museum is still under renovation, the visiting experience is very ordinary.

From the outside, you can tell that this museum is definitely worth visiting - the big tripod standing tall symbolizes "establishing the capital in Luoyi". Tickets are available from 9:00 to 16:30 with ID cards. The museum is closed on Mondays. There are seven exhibition halls in total. The first floor is for general exhibitions and the second floor is for boutique exhibitions. So if you don't have enough time, it is recommended to visit the exhibition halls on the second floor first, especially the treasure hall.

When we visited, we happened to meet a group of volunteer guides who gave very detailed explanations. The exhibits were rich and distinctive, and the ones that impressed me the most were the white jade cup, the broken clay human face statue, the numerous tri-color, and the tall stone carvings that made you feel suffocated as soon as you entered the exhibition hall.
