Luoyang Wangcheng Park

It was first built in 1955 and was named after the ruins of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty. It is the largest comprehensive park in Luoyang.
The park consists of several parts, including the ancient cultural area, peony garden, and animal museum. It has both profound traditional artistic conception and a strong modern flavor.
During the annual peony flower festival, Wangcheng Park is the best place to enjoy the flowers in the ancient city.

Buy a ticket and enter. There are many varieties of peonies, each with a sign to introduce them. There are unique green peonies and black peonies. When I went there, it was already late. I should have come to see the peonies from April 10th to 15th. The black peonies had already withered, and I only found two green peonies. The green peony is green when it is half-opened, and it is white when it is in full bloom.

Luoyang in April is the most colorful season of the year. I went to check in with the blind box I bought during the holiday. With the little cutie, the whole picture feels cute. I haven't been to the zoo for a long time. It's nice to take a break from my busy schedule and come out for a walk!

A park in a zoo, a zoo in a park. The most popular thing in Luoyang in April is the peony flowers. You can see the flowers and small animals at the same time. If it is your first time in Luoyang and you don’t know where to go to see the flowers, Wangcheng can definitely satisfy you. There are all kinds of food, drink and entertainment in the city. There is no admission fee at ordinary times, but a certain admission fee is charged during the peony flower show.

Wangcheng Park is divided into several areas, including amusement parks, a zoo, and peony flowers... When the peony flowers are not in bloom, Wangcheng Park is open to tourists for free. Friends who want to go to the zoo can buy tickets at the ticket window. There is a cable car in the park, and you can choose to experience it one way or two ways.

[Allow me to say a few words]

1. During the period other than the Peony Festival, admission to the park is free, and tickets to the zoo are purchased on demand.

2 Wangcheng Park is located near an important construction line of the Luoyang Metro. If you need to drive there, please arrange parking in advance. Parking spaces near the park are limited during holidays.

3 Wangcheng Park is located in the urban area of Luoyang, with convenient transportation and can be reached by multiple buses.

4 When viewing flowers, please be civilized and do not break the peony branches or touch the petals to cause them to fall.

The zoo is quite interesting, with giraffes, tigers, rhinos, etc. There are quite a lot of animal species, including cute camels and ostriches. Parents with children can feed the animals at the zoo, and they can bring their own carrots or buy them in the zoo. Every child likes feeding activities.

Wangcheng Park is free to go there everyday~

There is a fee during the Peony Festival, 30 RMB, 15 RMB for children.

We went there during the Qingming Festival. Most of the peonies in Wangcheng Park were early peonies, so they were in full bloom when we went.

There are really many varieties of peonies, and their huge flowers are really worthy of the four adjectives of graceful and luxurious.

There is a zoo in Wangcheng Park, with red-crowned cranes, monkeys, tigers... the children love it very much

In fact, one of the main reasons why I recommend Wangcheng Park is that many local people in Luoyang also like to stay here.

There were people dancing, kicking shuttlecock, playing badminton, and singing. When we went there, there was a group of aunties singing "My Motherland and I" along with the accordion. The atmosphere was quite full of life.

I also bought a fan painted by a painter here. I feel happy to bring these things back from every trip. Seeing the objects can bring back memories~

Most of the peonies in Wangcheng Park had faded because most of the peonies planted were early-maturing varieties. So we went to the International Peony Garden the next day, where most of the peonies were late-maturing varieties.

The park is very green, beyond imagination, and the transportation is convenient

By Those adventures you dream of |

My friend said that Wangcheng Park has the most beautiful peonies in Luoyang. The peonies in the park are large and beautiful. You can smell the fragrance as soon as you get close to the flowers.

By Ark |

It is said that many of the peonies that are still blooming in Wangcheng Park were moved in temporarily, but it doesn’t matter as long as they look good!

By TL |

We went there around April 19th, and the early and mid-season flowers had all withered, so we didn't get to see the peonies. However, we did get to see all kinds of square dancing and aerobics. Every corner of the park was filled with grandpas and grandmas doing morning exercises :-) The park also includes a zoo and a theme park, which is suitable for locals to bring their children to play, but there is no need for outsiders to buy tickets to enter, especially after the early flowering period.

By Xiya |

It is recommended to go there. The ticket is 20 yuan. In addition to seeing the peonies, it also includes the zoo and feeding the geese.

By Chen Xiaochen |

Wangcheng Park is the main venue of this year's Peony Festival, so there are many varieties of peonies. I feel that a single flower is more beautiful than a whole piece of it. Peony is worthy of being the national flower. Each flower has a royal aura. It is only suitable to be appreciated one by one, not by quantity.

By Brave |

We rushed to Wangcheng Park excitedly. Its peonies are the most famous in Luoyang, but unfortunately the blooming season has passed and the withered peonies have lost their charming charm. (According to the staff, the most beautiful peonies can only be appreciated before April 10.)

By 勔勔Loves Traveling |

The peony is really beautiful, with large flowers and bright colors. Unfortunately, it had withered a lot when I went there. Finding peonies has become my pleasure. I can't see the magnificent landscape of peonies in large areas, I can only look at a few of them to satisfy my eyes.

By Scholar's spirit |

Wangcheng Park is the main venue for the annual Peony Culture Festival.

By will |

It happened to be the time when the peonies were in bloom. The Luoyang peonies are indeed unique in the world. Not bad! ! !

By Distant smoke |

When I went to Luoyang to see the peonies that year, I visited two places: Wangcheng Park and Shenzhou Peony Garden. I had never seen the magnificence and splendor of peonies before.

By 檡~ |

Admission is charged during the peony bloom period, but it is free at other times.

I didn't catch the flowering season this time, so the view is similar to other city parks...

By Dawei |

I didn't walk around the whole place, only visited a part of it, and it felt pretty average. It was a pity that I went at the wrong time, and the peonies were all withered.

By The big ball that goes wherever you go |

To appreciate peonies, you must go to Wangcheng Park, which is the first "Peony Garden" in the city and the main venue of the Peony Flower Festival. And only there can you see the unique green peonies.

Peonies are cultivated in artificial greenhouses for tourists to enjoy. In order to ensure that there are flowers to see during the flower festival, the flowering period is artificially controlled. Some varieties have already withered, while others have not yet bloomed. As the national flower, peony has an innate noble temperament. It is not like tulips and lavender that need to gather together to please tourists. On the contrary, peony is more suitable for discovering her beauty one by one, as if each flower is proudly raising its head, disdaining to compete with its neighbors. With the help of the security guard, we finally found a green peony hiding in the corner that looks a bit like purple cabbage. Unlike other peonies, it seems that it is not ready to bloom fully, but the locals said that this is the largest one he has seen in three years.

By Change your username |

This is my first time to visit Luoyang. Before I came, I decided to go to the National Garden to see the peonies and then go to other attractions. As a result, I didn’t see the green peony in the National Garden, so I went to Wangcheng Park to try my luck. As a result... there really is one! But I can’t find it. I asked the patrol uncle, and the uncle said it was in the southeast corner... But I can’t tell the east, west, south, and north. I walked in the direction the uncle pointed, and then I lost myself😭. Then I was a little face-blind, and asked the uncle several times where the green peony was, and I thought it was not the same uncle. The last time, the uncle said, you have come here to ask five times, why haven’t you found it yet? I| ू•ૅω•́)ᵎᵎᵎ! The uncle said, didn’t I tell you that there is a tree over there, and there are two green peonies under the tree? Me: QAQ, uncle has a lot of trees. Then the uncle took me there directly, he said he was afraid that I would not find it even if I searched for an afternoon😂😂😂 There are only two treasures in the whole park! One plant has been blooming for a long time, and the other has not yet bloomed. There is a picture below. Don’t mind if the picture is ugly.

It is a perennial deciduous shrub. The flowers are brightly colored, fragrant, elegant, and magnificent, and are known as the "king of flowers". This variety belongs to the cultivated type, and the green color of the flowers is the best, known as "national beauty and heavenly fragrance". It is also called green fragrant ball. It is hydrangea-shaped, sometimes crown-shaped. The buds are round and often cracked at the top; they are light green when they are open, and pink green when they are in full bloom. Because of the unique cultivation method, it is extremely valuable.

Wangcheng Park, also known as Luoyang Wangcheng Park. Located in the Xigong District of Luoyang, the ancient capital of 13 dynasties, it is named after the ruins of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty Wangcheng. The park was built in 1955 and is located on the ruins of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty Wangcheng, a national key cultural relic protection unit west of Luoyang Cultural Center. Covering an area of 1,080 acres, it includes several parts such as the ancient cultural area, peony garden, animal house, and amusement park. It is the first ruins park in the country, the main venue of all previous peony flower fairs, and the largest zoo in western Henan. It is also the largest comprehensive park in Henan Province. The geographical location is very good. Although it has a big name, it is really not very clean inside. There is no entrance fee, and the zoo only charges entrance fees. It is a bit dirty inside. There are not many people on weekdays. There are many people singing, dancing, and exercising in some places. There is a relatively famous Hetu Luoshu. The peony garden covers a large area, and there are roses mixed in it. In early winter, there are no peonies, but the roses are still trying to bloom~

By Imaginary distance? |

I went there in April and the peonies were in full bloom!

By Alone with the wind |

I have been to Luoyang twice and have visited most of the "must-see" attractions introduced on the Internet, such as the White Horse Temple, Longmen Grottoes, Lijingmen Jiulongding Old Street, etc.

After giving it some thought, I remembered that the last time I passed by Wangcheng Park on Wangcheng Avenue, I just took the bus and passed by it quickly. This time, I might as well visit it first.

The parking fee at Luoyang Wangcheng Park is 5 yuan, but the park itself is free. There is only an additional charge during the peony flower show in spring.

The most important and famous thing about Wangcheng Park is probably the peony exhibition, right? It is one of the several large peony gardens in Luoyang. We didn't catch it at this time, but I guess it's the peak season, and there must be a sea of tourists here.

Walking into Wangcheng Park, I felt like I was in a street garden. There weren't many tourists or citizens, even though it was Saturday evening.

The peonies in the flowerbed were not in bloom, so no one was visiting them.

There is a tall statue of the "Peony Fairy" in the park, and a sign next to it explains her life story (myths and legends).

I wandered around aimlessly out of boredom just to see one more tourist attraction.

Suddenly I heard my companion exclaim: Red spider lily!

ah?

I remember this is a strange flower in the TV series "Grave Robbers' Chronicles" or "Ghost Blows Out the Light", and it is also the flower that Hu Bayi has been looking for.

How come there is such a large area here?

Are you mistaken?

How about we all take a look?

As for the rest, there are amusement parks and a zoo, a peony garden with blossoming flowers, pavilions, towers, lakes and waterside terraces. Apart from a large altar and a replica of the Simuwu Ding, the rest is similar to any park in any city.

By The grid is not square |

A must-have for home and travel. I personally think that even if there are no peonies, you can still come to the amusement park. Even if you don’t want to go to the amusement park, there is a zoo. Even if you don’t want to go to the zoo, you can just stroll around in the park and enjoy the fresh air.

Don't go. I didn't see the peonies because I came too late, but the other scenery inside really made me feel like I was traveling back to the shabby park in front of our house in the 1990s. I won't say anything more, just a picture for the person who recommended this place and for the time I wasted.

When I went to Luoyang, the peony season had already passed, so I didn't go to any of the major peony gardens. I went to Wangcheng Park, which is very close to where I live. There are also many beautiful peonies in there, in all colors. There are also many animals in the park, such as mandrills and alpacas. Later, I went from watching peonies to watching animals, which was really nice.

Wangcheng Park is just an ordinary park, but the peony exhibition in Luoyang is only held once a year, around April every year!

My friend and I were hesitating whether to go to Wangcheng Park to see the peonies or to Guohua Garden, but we felt that Wangcheng Park was closer, and the hotel staff also recommended it. So we went to see the early peonies on the first day of the Qingming Festival. They were quite beautiful, and in addition to the peonies, the other scenery in the park was also very nice.

Went on Saturday, too many people, parking is a problem, walked around half of the park to find a parking space. Half of the flowers are withered. I suggest you go directly to Longmen Grottoes to see the peonies and visit the grottoes

No tickets are required. The garden is full of peonies, which have not yet bloomed. Some of them are not sure whether they are peach blossoms or cherry blossoms, but they are also very beautiful. If the peonies bloom, it will definitely be very beautiful.

The time to go is not good. The scenery will be better when the peonies are in bloom.

Maybe because we went there in autumn, the peonies were not in bloom. It was just an ordinary park.

Wangcheng Park made me fall in love with the city of Luoyang, not because of the scenery, not because of the peonies, but because of the zoo in Wangcheng Park, which really surprised me!

First of all, I’m from Xi’an, which has the famous Qinling Wildlife Park, but as for the animals, mine is really…

The tickets to the zoo in Wangcheng Park are super cheap. I used my student ID and it cost 10 yuan, which is half price. It’s very cheap!

The areas inside are clearly divided, and the beasts and birds are well distinguished.

You can choose the route according to your preferences, and it is well arranged and well connected, so you don't have to travel a long way to see an animal.

Secondly, there are so many animals, not to mention cows, horses, and sheep.

There are more than ten tigers, hippos, elephants, monkeys, and all kinds of other animals.

You can have close contact with alpacas, camels, and sika deer. The old ladies selling food are very nice and the food is very cheap.

You can go and experience it, it's really good, this is a place worth my several visits! ! ! !

Wangcheng Park is a park in the city that combines a garden, an amusement park and a zoo.

[Garden Area] To the left of the main entrance is the garden area (or you can enter directly from the west gate), near the Peony Pavilion and Peony Fairy. From the end of March to the beginning of May every year, there will be a peony exhibition in the garden area. There will be a chrysanthemum exhibition in October every year. There will be a lantern exhibition from the first day of the first lunar month to the sixteenth day of the first lunar month every year. Except for these times, it is free to enter the garden area. After crossing the bridge, you need to buy a ticket to the zoo area. There will be a chime performance on the upper floor opposite the entrance during holidays, which can be enjoyed with tickets.

[Zoo Area] After entering the gate and crossing the bridge, you will reach the zoo area. If you can walk, there is no need to take the cable car, but the cable car will pass right above Tiger Mountain, which is very thrilling. You can also buy carrots to feed giraffes, elephants, cute alpacas, cattle, sheep and other animals. You can also bring some carrots to feed them yourself, but you need to buy carrots to feed giraffes and elephants at close range.

[Recommendation reason] The peonies in Wangcheng Park are almost the first peonies cultivated for the peony flower exhibition in Luoyang. The flowers are large and elegant, truly showing the noble posture of the national flower of peony. The geographical location is in the city center, with convenient transportation. After viewing, you can take bus No. 9 or No. 103 to Xigong Street to eat snacks such as Xiaojie Guotie and Danzhen Tangyuan, or take bus No. 9 to stroll around the old city cross street.

p.s. I am from Luoyang, so if you have any other questions about traveling in Luoyang, you can ask me directly~ I hope you have fun in Luoyang, muah~

By June is not over |

By the time of May Day, the peony flowers had already withered, and we only saw some dead branches and willows with a long flowering period and late blooming. The best time to enjoy the flowers is mid-April. However, such a large peony theme park still amazed me. "The peony in front of the courtyard is enchanting and has no style, and the lotus on the pond is pure and has little emotion. Only the peony is the true national beauty, and the capital city is moved when the flowers bloom." I will not tell you that I went to see the peony because of "The Legend of Zhen Huan" 23333

Wangcheng Park is named after the ruins of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty Wangcheng, which it was built on. It is the first ruins park in China and the largest comprehensive park in Henan Province.

I came here during the Luoyang Peony Fair. This place is the main venue of all previous Luoyang Peony Fairs. Of course, the fairs are getting bigger and bigger, and there are more and more so-called main venues (at least I have visited four peony parks in Luoyang, and I have never seen a banner at the door modestly saying that it is a branch venue). Located in the city center, the transportation is most convenient. There are countless bus lines passing by the entrance of the park, which leads in all directions.

Wangcheng Park is a comprehensive park, which has amusement parks and zoos. As the main leisure and entertainment place for local people in Luoyang, everyone can imagine what a park in the city center should look like. So when you step into the park, you will see a lot of complexity, because even if the locals don't see the flowers, they love to take a walk here. At this time, please follow your nose. Yes, you don't need to look at the signs. Follow the faint fragrance in the air and you will be led to the flowerbed where peonies are in full bloom. Late-flowering varieties play the leading role, sea yellow, bowl-sized yellow flowers, which are still spectacular when they are in pieces. The sculpture of the Peony Fairy in Wangcheng Park is a must-see for tourists to take pictures.

If time is tight, it is recommended that you only choose Wangcheng Park to enjoy the flowers in Luoyang. The transportation is convenient, and the peony flowering period here spans a long period. Varieties with different flowering periods are planted from morning to night. Compared with other parks, the chance of enjoying the blooming peonies is higher. The gardeners here are also very dedicated. In addition to the careful care of the awnings, they will also tidy up and replace the withered plants in the flowerbed every day (because they are all potted in large pots, which are easy to carry), so that tourists can see as many energetic peonies as possible. In addition to peony flowers, the park also holds a peony bonsai exhibition. Friends who travel with their children can also let their children visit the zoo in the park and row boats on the river.

There are many shops selling fans painted with peonies on site along the wall in the park. The prices range from tens to hundreds of dollars depending on the material of the fan and the difficulty of painting. This is probably the uniform price in the whole city. Other parks also have this kind of business, but the scale is not as large as Wangcheng Park. It looks unique and worth buying. Outside the park, there are shops along the street selling simulated peonies, embroidery, jewelry and other souvenirs. The simulated peonies are cheap and good. However, you can see them for sale in any scenic spot in Luoyang, so you don’t have to worry about missing out.

By Seiichi |

The peony flowers are indeed beautiful, but some people say that there are still few flowers here. However, it is close to the city, which is very convenient. There are many varieties for me, an out-of-towner. There are many people during the flowering period. You must bring a boyfriend or girlfriend to take pictures. I brought my brother and no one cared about me, so I had to take selfies

By Qirui Lotte |

Wangcheng Park is very beautiful, and the Luoyang Emperor's Six-wheeled Vehicle is located here. It only costs 6 yuan to take a human-powered tricycle from Luoyang Station to get there.

By Breeze swallows oblique |

There is a Peony Festival in Wangcheng Park every time the peonies bloom. There are many varieties of flowers. In addition to flower viewing, the park also has an amusement park and a zoo. The area is very large, suitable for the whole family to go out and play.

By Jennifer*Z |

The environment is good. Although I missed the peony season, it was still nice to see green everywhere.

By Black Horse |

The ticket to Wangcheng Park is 60 yuan. The e-ticket I ordered on Ctrip is 50 yuan. You can't enter the west gate, you can only go to the main gate to buy tickets. From the west gate to the main gate, there are all kinds of shops selling handicrafts, souvenirs and Luoyang specialties. At 8:40, we entered the park and saw a huge tripod in front of us, named "Zhou Ding Xiong Ju", which is a replica of the Zhou Ding unearthed in Jincun, Luoyang City. On the left side of the square, through the gate engraved with "Luoyang Peony No. 1 in the World", what comes into view are peonies of various shapes, colorful and blooming. Among them, "Hai Huang" blooms particularly many, with bright yellow flowers hanging on the branches; "White King Lion" is as white as jade and has a huge flower shape; "Lianhe" is as its name, with light and elegant petals, like a crane; "New Seven Lucky Gods" is white with red, elegant and elegant; "Golden Pavilion" is golden with a blush, beautiful and majestic like a golden beauty; "Island Minister" is bright in color, graceful and enchanting... The exquisite peony garden is good to watch. We crossed the Yudai Bridge and came to the zoo. We did not watch the animals, but came to the peony garden under the bridge to continue to appreciate the peonies. There are relatively few varieties of peonies here. Many early peonies have withered, but the blooming peonies are still very bright and beautiful, and the fragrance is refreshing. In general, the peonies in Wangcheng Park are still very good, and it is worth wandering and appreciating them carefully. It’s just that the area is a bit small, lacking a sense of a sea of flowers and a world of flowers. At 11:10, we came to the high-platform antique building "Mingtang" facing the gate of the park to visit the "Peony Flower Arrangement Exhibition", which was quite fresh and elegant.

We left Wangcheng Park at 11:30. Since we only came to admire the peonies, we did not visit other parts of the park. We really did not have enough time (⊙ o ⊙)!

The first thing to do when you go to Luoyang is to see the peony flowers! But you must choose the right time~ We went a little late. This year's Peony Festival started on the 10th, and we went on the 17th. After a week, the flowers had withered, and the late bloomers had not yet bloomed. But we also saw some that were in full bloom. The fame was like a noble lady in luxurious brocade clothes, and the flower tour was like a beautiful girl wandering freely in the spring. The most beautiful thing about peony flowers is the gradient of colors, white in pink, and red in white. With a little regret, I must go to see the most beautiful peony at the right time next time I have the opportunity.

The park is in the city. It is said that Wangcheng is a good place to enjoy peonies in April. During the Peony Festival, the ticket price is 45 yuan. I bought the ticket from Meituan two hours in advance and picked up the ticket with my ID card from the online ticket office on the east side of the entrance. The ticket price is 35 yuan per person. After entering the park, the peony garden is on the west side. At this time on the 23rd, the early flowers have completely withered, and the late flowers have not yet fully bloomed. The peony garden is a bit desolate. Going deep into the peony garden is the zoo, where dozens of animals can be seen. Tourists are happy, and animals are desperate. I just feel distressed, because they have their own homes. . . Wangcheng is a good place to bring your family to enjoy peonies. Only by choosing to come during the prosperous period can you return with satisfaction, and bee friends actively add.

Luoyang peonies are indeed worthy of their reputation. Mid-April every year is the season when peonies are in full bloom. The variety and quantity of peonies in Wangcheng Park are considered to be among the best in Luoyang.

It’s the Peony Festival, the ticket price is not cheap, but it’s definitely worth going.

When we went there, some of the peonies had already faded, but most of them were still in full bloom. The further you go in, the fewer people there are and the better the flowers bloom. It rained a little in the morning, and the peonies were dotted with jade beads, which were very beautiful.

It was a little late to come to Wangcheng Park. It was almost 5:30 when we arrived. The student ticket was half price. I wanted to take the cable car, but it was too late and it had stopped. I decided to enjoy the peonies. I went there during the Qingming Festival. The early flowering ones had already bloomed, and some were not yet open. I had heard that Luoyang peonies are the best in the world, and it really lives up to their reputation. The red ones are elegant, the pink ones are gorgeous, and the white ones are fresh and elegant. As expected, girls still prefer this kind of place. I couldn't stop asking my boyfriend to take pictures for me⊙▽⊙ After watching the peonies, I went to the zoo. The pair of parrots were so loving and kissed each other(^з^) We rode the carousel in the amusement park, which should be considered a sweet memory for most girls(≧▽≦)

Wangcheng Park is on Zhongzhou Road, which is a relatively congested road. I live in Wangcheng Square, and I heard it was only a few stops away, so I took a walk to Wangcheng Park. The distance is actually a bit long, so I still recommend that you take the bus. Bus No. 9 goes directly there.

Wangcheng Park is a small amusement park + zoo + place to enjoy peonies. Because the peonies in Wangcheng Park bloom early, many people go to see them. I went to see it on March 31, the last day, when it was still free. I caught up with the last free day. Starting from April, it seems to be charged 40-60 yuan, including other peony gardens and zoos.

There is also a bronze tripod at the entrance. There are peony fairies in the peony garden. The peonies in the greenhouse are in full bloom in advance. I was lucky to see them. They are really beautiful. If you don't visit the zoo and other peony gardens, one hour is enough. Wangcheng Park is not too big, and the peony garden is not too big either. Because there are too many tourists, they are all competing to take pictures of peonies, so it is not easy to find a quiet place to take a picture.

Luoyang's largest park, with peonies blooming in all their splendor, and the largest zoo in western Henan

There are many gardens for viewing peonies in Luoyang, but I still chose Wangcheng Park. First, it is in the city center with convenient transportation; second, this garden has the most peonies in my opinion, and it also includes a zoo; third, the ticket for Wangcheng Park also includes the other two parks. It’s worth visiting three parks with one ticket~😀

When visiting the garden, I found that the peonies in Wangcheng were so big and beautiful, each one looked like a big plate, so beautiful, and especially fragrant. Being in the garden, my mood naturally became very comfortable! 😍

By the way, I don’t know if some people only look at the peonies in front. In fact, the staff inside said that there are also many peonies in the zoo area, and they are particularly beautiful. So walk around more when watching the animals. The park is very large, and there will be unexpected surprises if you walk around more~😉

There is a zoo inside, which is very big. I walked around it three times. In April, the peonies were in full bloom and there were many people. It is not far from the old city.

The largest comprehensive park in Luoyang, close to the city center, is said to be built on ruins, but I didn't see any ruins. There were quite a lot of people, and no tickets were required when I went there.

There are many, many peonies, which are very beautiful. You can also take the cable car to the zoo and visit one more attraction. It's pretty good.

Wangcheng Park, also known as Luoyang Wangcheng Park, is named after the site of the Eastern Zhou Wangcheng. The park was built in 1955 and is located on the site of the Eastern Zhou Wangcheng, a national key cultural relic protection unit west of Luoyang Cultural Center. Covering an area of 1,080 acres, it includes several parts such as the ancient cultural area, peony garden, animal house, and amusement park. It is the first site park in the country, the largest zoo in western Henan, a nationally famous peony viewing garden, the birthplace of the Luoyang Peony Fair, and the main venue of the Luoyang Peony Fair. The park integrates peony viewing with historical culture, humanistic gardens and natural gardens. It is a modern comprehensive park with complete functions and facilities. The park can be divided into four major scenic areas: peony viewing area, historical and cultural area, large amusement area and zoo, and has formed distinctive Wangcheng landscapes such as "peony competition, Zhou Ding domineering, Danxiang welcoming guests, Jingsi waterfall, Hetu Luoshu, Fengque reflecting the wheel, Letai bell, Gantangzhou", etc. It is the best place for sightseeing, cultural exchange, leisure and entertainment in Luoyang.

We went too late and the museum was closed, but the horse statues were quite attractive!

The park is average, the zoo is good, there are fewer wild animals inside

Except for the Peony Cultural Festival in April and May, there is no entrance fee. As soon as you enter the gate, you will see the fountain square, with entertainment facilities on the right and the peony garden on the left. There are various varieties of peonies, which are very beautiful when they bloom. Further inside, there are various flowers and trees, small bridges and flowing water, and Heluo books. You can walk along the river and stop to listen to the saxophone, or look down from above and see willow branches floating on the water. Each has its own scenery. There is also a chrysanthemum exhibition in the golden autumn season, which is also beautiful.

It’s an ordinary park. I only know there is an alpaca, haha, and I rode the roller coaster.

The annual peony flower show is held in Luoyang's largest city park. It is worth visiting the zoo inside for 15 yuan.

Wangcheng and Guohua Garden are two completely different styles. Wangcheng Park is relatively small. In addition to viewing flowers, there are also amusement facilities. The peony plants in Wangcheng Park are relatively tall, attracting people in large groups, which is more suitable for taking photos with people and flowers. Since there are fences outside the flowers in Wangcheng Park, it is not very convenient to take close-ups of flowers. You need a long-focal-length cannon or a selfie artifact. If you want to see Yaohuang, you must go to Wangcheng. There is a Yaohuang that is in full bloom behind the statue of the Peony Fairy. China National Garden is very large, full of peonies, of course, except for peonies, there are peonies. Because it is large, people are divided into different groups as soon as they enter, and it is not crowded or crowded. The peony plants in Guohua Garden are relatively short, so it is not very convenient to take photos with people, but there are no fences, which is very friendly and suitable for close-ups of flowers.

It has a long history and beautiful environment. It is a rare park site in Luoyang city! There are many ancient relics. If you come here during the Peony Festival, it will be even more beautiful!~

Luoyang's peony is world-famous. I really felt it when I went there. In early April, the peonies were not in full bloom yet, but you could see peony advertisements everywhere in Luoyang. Ordinary peonies are probably the most common in bright pink, but in Luoyang there are not only green peonies, but also pink peonies of different types, including dark purple and almost black ones. The city-wide celebration of the peony festival is no less than the celebration of cherry blossoms in Japan.

There is no entrance fee to Wangcheng Park, but of course there is nothing to see. There is an entrance fee during the Peony Festival...
