Moshan Scenic Area is located in the center of East Lake, surrounded by water on three sides and winding with six peaks. It is one of the six scenic areas in East Lake Scenic Area.

Moshan in East Lake is definitely a better place to enjoy cherry blossoms than Wuhan University! The five-story pagoda in the cherry blossom scene is here. I was stuck in traffic for two hours during the cherry blossom season. But once I got in, I felt it was all worth it.

Buses 413 and 402 go directly to the Moshan Cherry Garden in East Lake. It is much more convenient than taking a taxi because many taxi drivers will refuse to take you when they hear you are going to the Moshan Cherry Garden in East Lake, and the traffic is indeed quite congested.

It is a good idea to come here in the afternoon and play until the evening, so you can take beautiful night photos. When the lights are on, the flowers reflect the glazed tower, which is quite beautiful.

East Lake is divided into three scenic areas, Tingtao, Luoyan and Moshan. According to the map, Moshan Scenic Area has fewer people. Considering my dog, I decided to go to Moshan. On the way to the scenic area, you have to pass through an East Lake Tunnel. The scenic area is free. After entering the scenic area, you can see neatly arranged sightseeing cars and a huge guide map.

The Cherry Blossom Park is more worth visiting than Wuhan University. Come early so that the pink ones bloom earlier. Once the white ones bloom, you won’t be able to see the pink ones. The white ones are beautiful at night, but so-so during the day.

A great place to overlook the lake, near the Moshan Mountain Cableway.

In late March, go to the Moshan Scenic Area in East Lake, Wuhan to admire the cherry blossoms. This is a world of cherry blossoms, a sea of cherry blossoms. It is the best choice for admiring cherry blossoms in Wuhan.

By catherine |

This trip to Wuhan was to see the cherry blossoms. It is said that the variety and quantity of cherry blossoms in East Lake are much more than those in Wuhan University. It is true. But there are too many people coming to see the cherry blossoms, so it is crowded.

By Yu Da Gou |

Very good, I recommend you to go there if you have time.

By Geng |

Get off the bus and follow the crowd to find the main entrance of the scenic spot. . . As soon as you enter the scenic spot, there is a large lotus pond. Unfortunately, it is not the season yet, and there are only a few lotus flowers.

Butterfly Garden, a favorite place for children. The air is really good, Wuhan's urban green lung. You can bring your own tent for dinner. The mountain climbing is a bit slippery and a little steep.

It’s a bit too much for me to walk around the whole scenic area on foot... I’d rather take an electric car to see the sights. The electric car ticket is 20 yuan, and you can take the car at any station. In fact, it’s better to ride a bicycle.

After get off work, take a walk in Donghu Lake and breathe some fresh air.

If you walk down along the East Lake Greenway in Liyuan, you can reach Moshan Scenic Area directly. Moshan is one of the birthplaces of Chu culture. It is surrounded by mountains and water, and has beautiful scenery. I think it is not inferior to other famous mountains and rivers. You can choose half a day to have a good time there.

By KikiKi. |

There is a greenway in Moshan District of Donghu Lake where you can ride a bicycle.

Slow delivery, I don't know when it will arrive, full of memories

By Jenny |

Moshan is about 5km away from Fengguang Village, Wuda, and there are green trees along the way. You can climb to the top of the mountain and overlook the lake, or just sit by the lake and stare blankly. The chime performance on the mountain is a paid item. There are also many people who can ride bicycles, and riding is strongly recommended for those with good physical strength.

By Starry Sea |

Recommended reason: Chutian Terrace overlooks the panoramic view of East Lake. Coming out of East Lake Cherry Blossom Garden is Moshan Scenic Area. Chutian Terrace in the scenic area is the commanding height and viewing platform of the entire East Lake area. Unfortunately, it was under maintenance when I went there, so I had to settle for the Zhubei Pavilion halfway up the mountain. In this season, you can also see the East Lake Cherry Blossom Garden from a distance. If the air is clear, it must be a pink and tender one. It only takes a week for cherry blossoms to bloom and wither, and the cherry blossoms blowing in front of you are touching.

By Liu Jianming |

The cherry blossoms are beautiful and the transportation is convenient! I just don't like Wuhan people.

By Fans of nature |

In early spring, although the earth still looks a bit bleak, everything is stirring and sprouting vitality. Cycling to Moshan Mountain in East Lake, visiting the plum garden, watching the early spring lake view, and admiring the plum blossoms are very good for relieving the confinement of winter and relaxing the body and mind. If you want to visit Wuhan in early spring, Moshan Mountain must be highly recommended!

Moshan Scenic Area is located on the shore of East Lake and is open to the public free of charge. It is a good place to relax with your family during your free time, but the transportation is not very convenient if you don’t drive.

By You who are far away |

It's really nice, a good place to relax, ride a small yellow bike around the lake, but it's impossible. It's too big and there are too many couples, it's a bit abusive

Donghu Moshan Scenic Area is a 5A scenic spot. I went there on a one-day tour with a tour group. The whole scenic area is quite large, and the lake and mountains are very beautiful. I took a battery car to take a quick look and thought the scenery was good. I liked Han Culture Street and Chutian Terrace very much. Next time I have the opportunity, I will take a day to go there seriously.

By Zachary |

Moshan is my favorite place. Although it is not as beautiful and spectacular as many famous mountains and rivers, it is still fun to climb mountains with low intensity and various scenery. I especially remember the zip line. I had already gone down the mountain but it was not completed. It was really enjoyable to watch.

The East Lake Moshan Scenic Area is located in the East Lake Scenic Area of Wuhan City, Hubei Province. The Moshan Scenic Area is China's largest Chu culture tourist area, the location of the Chinese plum and lotus research center, one of the world's three major cherry blossom viewing spots, and an excellent place for citizens to relax and have fun. Spring cherry blossoms, summer lotus, autumn osmanthus, winter plum blossoms, and flowers bloom continuously in all four seasons. In addition to the famous flowers of the four seasons, you can also enjoy the mountains full of azaleas in spring and more than 100 kinds of aquatic flowers in summer. The Moshan Scenic Area is surrounded by water on three sides and six peaks. The natural environment is very good. Each season has different beauty. It is recommended! The only bad thing is that there are fewer tour buses and the waiting time is relatively long.

By Voldemort III |

The ticket to Moshan is 60 yuan. The scenic area is quite large and the environment is quite good.

By Big orange 🍊 |

I don't know why, I can see ticket information for this place everywhere on the Internet, but I didn't see any tickets for sale anywhere I went. My visit was free!

By Jonnie |

A must-have for small and exquisite wedding photos taken outdoors is that transportation is not very convenient

By Daoze |

Light travel

Take the shuttle bus, get off at scenic spots to take photos and play, and then take the bus for a circular trip.

Moderate travel

Rent a mountain bike or a shared bike. The mountain road is undulating, and mountain bikes are more labor-saving and safer. Stop and go, and have fun.

Heavy travel

Take the walking loop, chat and play with friends while walking, and enjoy every detail of the scenery.

This place is nice and the environment is great, suitable for friends in the city to travel around.

It’s the first time I’ve seen so many cherry blossoms. So beautiful!

This is what a sea of flowers means. There are light pink, pink, and white flowers. There is also a tree with flowers of two colors.

Sitting under the cherry tree, just quietly looking at the scenery, feeling the breeze, and the air is filled with the faint scent of flowers.

At night, the night view is completely different! It is so beautiful!

It's still a bit cold at night, so friends who go there should keep warm.

By L Dream |

A very beautiful place, the air is great, and the azaleas are blooming beautifully, beyond expectations.

By 🎀Baby_Yingen🎀 |

Donghu Moshan Scenic Area • Worth a visit! We went on February 20th, and there were few people in the scenic area, with only a few cherry blossoms in bloom. The best time to go is at the end of March, but there may be more people, so it depends on the number of people!

Moshan is now free of charge. After entering, I feel that it is really huge. The scenery and air are really great. You can take a small yellow car to have a good look around. It is no problem to spend an afternoon there.

By 2 |

Very good. There are nice views on the mountain and a cable car.

By DaySi |

Well, originally I was planning to go to East Lake for a boat trip, but the lake was under renovation and I couldn't go in. So I came to Moshan, which is like a forest park. Our student ticket price was 25 yuan, and the cable car was 30 yuan one way. It was a pity that I didn't go to Chutianmen. I will probably go straight to Chutianmen next time.

By Elegant |

The night here is more charming, but the transportation still needs to be improved.

By The little girl is not literati but young |

National 5A scenic spot, discovered by chance, suitable for the whole family. There are electric cars for an additional fee. Student tickets are half price 30 per person. Suitable for a whole day, it is very good to come in summer, the trees are big, covering the sky, and it is not hot at all. Chutian Terrace is very high and has many steps, but it is worth climbing to the top to see.

By Hometown Tea |

You must go in March. It’s better than the one in Wuhan University. It’s the third largest cherry blossom garden in the world.

By Vivianli |

Apart from the fact that it is too hot in summer, this place is really nice. It is recommended to go there when the weather is fine, preferably in the morning or evening, otherwise people will get sunstroke.

By hawthorn |

The scenic area is large and has a nice green environment. Even though the cherry blossom season has passed, it still feels like spring. However, there are relatively few places to eat in the park, especially formal meals, probably because the catering industry is restricted in order to protect the environment.

By Bunny |

It is especially suitable for taking photos, and I happened to catch the chime performance. It was great and highly recommended!

There are many botanical gardens in the Moshan area, all of which are famous for their natural scenery. The gardens are not too big or too small. If you want to visit them carefully, it will take at least half a day. If you want to visit the surrounding areas, it should take two or three days. But each botanical garden is independent, and the individual tickets are not low. It depends on your personal preference. The Moshan scenic area is quite diverse, with pavilions in the center of the lake, small bridges and flowing water, cherry gardens and plum gardens, etc. It is also a famous photo spot. There are many different groups of wedding photos, artistic photos, cosplay, personal photos, photography enthusiasts, etc. There are also a number of families and groups who have picnics and camping. The proportion of pure play accounts for only a part. In popular places, if you want to only take pictures of yourself, you have to rely on angles and thoughts.

By Andante Cantabile |

Located on the east bank of East Lake, it is a national 5A scenic spot. It is known as the "green treasure house" in Wuhan. It is a sea of flowers with thousands of varieties. Plum blossoms, azaleas, cherry blossoms, orchids, lotus flowers, osmanthus, roses, crabapples, and peach blossoms are the main representatives of these flowers. There are mainly cherry blossom gardens, botanical gardens, plum gardens, lotus gardens, etc. Tickets can be purchased online at the official Taobao store of Moshan Scenic Area "East Lake Moshan Ticket Center" and Meituan.com, Dianping.com, Tongcheng.com, Ctrip.com, and Qunar.com to purchase East Lake Moshan Scenic Area tickets and East Lake annual tickets. The bus is very convenient. When we went there, it was March. The cherry blossoms, tulips, orchids, peach blossoms and other flowers were in full bloom. It was so beautiful. Although it was not the weekend, there were many tourists. There were children organized by local schools to appreciate the flowers, and there were also many tourists from other places. A day of play made us feel very happy. We took a lot of good photos and admired many flowers that we had never seen before. We gained a lot.

By SueLittleM |

A very comfortable scenic spot. If I go there next time, I should rent a bicycle to enjoy this largest inland lake.

By Cowboy Wisdom |

It is very big and beautiful. Although walking is tiring, you will discover the beauty of nature inadvertently.

By Tiantian |

The scenery of Moshan Scenic Area is very good. When I went there, there was a late cherry blossom. There are also large azalea gardens. There are a lot of leaves, which is especially suitable for outings. The air is fresh. There are green trees and beautiful scenery. The ticket price is 80 yuan per person. The student ticket is 40 yuan per person. The best thing about the scenic area is that you can store your luggage for free. The transportation is not very convenient. There are many people on holidays. You can share a car to Guanggu Subway Station to take the subway and then go to other places. Shared car costs 10 yuan per person. There are also buses to the subway, but there are a lot of people. If you want to save money and have little luggage, you can take the bus. If you have a lot of luggage, it is not easy to squeeze in.

By Mr. Bit |

After walking out of Wuhan University, there was a bus that went directly to the East Lake Moshan Scenic Area, which was only a few stops away. I told my sister that we should walk there, but my sister said it was too tiring to walk in Wuhan University, so we had to take the bus.

So we waited for the bus to come, and we sat all the way to Moshan, only then we realized that we were too smart to take the bus. The bus station in Wuhan is too far away. If we walk there, it will take at least 2 hours. It is best to take 402, which is a sightseeing bus along the East Lake. We took this bus, and the scenery of the East Lake is in full view. Most of the bus stations in Wuhan are very far away. If you can take the bus, try not to walk, it will be tiring.

I have to say something about Moshan. This sightseeing bus costs 30 yuan per person and can stop at any time, but it is basically difficult to get on once you get off, except for those big attractions. Moreover, children under 1.2M actually need 20 yuan. This is the first attraction I have visited that still charges children's tickets. What's worse is that they know that tourists get on and off halfway, so why don't they take more pictures of the cars going back and forth? We watched many tourists waiting and couldn't get on the bus. It's enough. Of course, this is not the worst. When we walked back, two tourists waved to go to class. The driver said that the gate was in front and you would get there in 2 minutes. Then he drove the battery car for three minutes, and said while walking that the tourists were really lazy. If tourists buy your ticket, you have the obligation to pull over, even if there is still 1 minute to go, you should pull over. In addition, commercialization is too serious, especially Liu Beijiao Temple of Heaven, which is really bad. Everyone must pay attention and don't touch things randomly. I really don't know how Moshan upgraded to a 5A scenic spot.

Putting these aside, it is indeed acceptable to just look at the scenery of the scenic area, but we were asked to see the azaleas, but we never saw them. Overall, the cost performance is not very high. There is also a plum garden nearby, but it should have passed the flowering period.

By effy5z |

It's really beautiful! During the Cherry Blossom Festival, you can see the early cherry blossoms, mid-season cherry blossoms, and late cherry blossoms! Although the Wuhan Tourism Annual Pass cannot be used during the Cherry Blossom Festival, the East Lake Tourism Annual Pass can be used! The early cherry blossom season is relatively short, usually only one week, and then the Somei and late cherry blossoms will bloom one after another. Try to avoid going on weekends. There will be a lot of people on weekends during the Somei flowering period, usually more than 100,000 people/day. This year, night cherry blossom viewing is open, it's so beautiful... I have the illusion of pretending to be in Kyoto every minute. Although the 60-day ticket and the 80-day annual ticket don't seem cheap, it's totally worth the price!

By freezing point |

If you come to Wuhan to enjoy cherry blossoms, you must not miss the annual Moshan Cherry Blossom Festival. There are thousands of acres of cherry trees, which are extremely beautiful. Although there is a fee and transportation is inconvenient, it is definitely worth the price and the wait to come here.

By Tilly |

East Lake is so beautiful, but it's a pity that I went there at the wrong time and the cherry blossoms were all gone.

By Unana |

It's worth seeing! It happened to be the cherry blossom season and the cherry blossoms were full. I heard that it's beautiful to see the night cherry blossoms at night with colorful lights, but I was unlucky and the lights were not turned on after the day I went. But it's also great to see it during the day~ The rape flowers are also blooming and the eyes are full of spring colors.

By shu_2 |

Moshan Scenic Area is really beautiful. During the cherry blossom season, you can see a lot of cherry blossoms. It is not as crowded as Wuhan University. It is worth a visit.

By Xiaoyan1124 |

I went there mainly for the cherry blossoms, but due to the weather this year, the cherry blossoms were almost all gone, and only the late cherry blossoms were in full bloom. The ticket cost 60, so I didn't go in.

I spent two days visiting a tourist attraction, and the place that spent most of my time was the children's playground at the entrance.

The transportation is quite convenient. There are direct buses from Optics Valley or Wuchang Railway Station. But the entrance is under renovation and it is very dusty.

I bought the East Lake Annual Pass, which I think is more cost-effective than buying tickets for a single scenic spot. And there is no limit on the number of times you can visit it within a year before the New Year. It is said that there is also a Greater Wuhan Tourism Card, which allows you to visit many attractions in Wuhan. Unlike the East Lake Annual Pass, it cannot be used on holidays.

The scenic area is very large, with undulating terrain, and there are cable cars and slides. Fortunately, there are shuttle buses, although they are a bit expensive. On the first day, I walked from the cherry blossom garden to the East Lake, and found that I had to go up the mountain to go back without returning the same way, so I took a bus back to the gate, which cost 20 yuan. I also went to Chutian Terrace that day. It seemed that there was a bell music performance on time. From Chutian Terrace, you can see all the small mountains. This time I went on the weekend, and there were super many people. There were many snacks at the gate at noon, such as small potatoes and stinky tofu. I wanted to eat them again, but I didn’t expect that there was none when I came out, so I could only buy sausages at the exit. The bus to Optics Valley was lined up, and I couldn’t get on, but there were many black cars at the gate. The second time I went along the East Lake, I passed by the Chu Cultural District, which had the Chu City, the city tower, and the celebrity garden statue group. I still went back to Chutian Terrace, but I didn’t climb up again because it was a bit high.

The annual pass includes a shuttle bus from the Luoyan Scenic Area to Moshan, which costs 5 yuan. Luoyan and Chuidi did not go there. There is also a plum garden opposite the Moshan Gate, but we did not go in.

When I took the bus to Guanggu, I found a large cherry blossom forest next to it.

I went to Wuhan on a business trip and took a half-day walk. The night before, I walked along the lake (9.9 kilometers one way) to check out the beautiful scenery by the lake. I woke up at six in the morning the next day and happily booked tickets on Ctrip (Ctrip stated that tickets must be purchased one hour in advance). I dressed up beautifully and set off for Moshan Scenic Area. When I arrived at the ticket office, the staff told me that online tickets could only be exchanged for tickets at nine o'clock! I was stunned for a moment and had to buy a new ticket at the window (I was catching a flight at noon and couldn't wait until nine o'clock). Finally, I could enter the scenic area. After walking for a long time, I saw a few sparse cherry trees. I asked the park staff and found out that I was late. A large number of cherry blossoms 🌸 had already withered. Now there are only late cherry blossoms. This is the second blow of the day. Baby is unhappy 🙁 and I don't feel like continuing. I went home and rested in the hotel.

There are quite a lot of cherry blossom varieties, including rapeseed flowers and purple flowers, which are rich in colors and beautiful for taking photos. Recommended

One of the four major plum gardens in Jiangnan. February is the season when plum blossoms are in full bloom. The scenery in the garden is very beautiful.

Moshan Scenic Area is on the side of Moshan in East Lake. I went there in summer and it was still quite hot. However, the roads inside are all in the mountains, with dense trees. There are very few good ones. There are many beautiful lotus flowers inside. There is also a very beautiful Chucheng. The Chuwangtai is very tall on the top of the mountain. The wind is very strong on it. You can see the scenery of East Lake below. It is very comfortable, but it is still a bit strenuous to climb up by yourself. There is also a cable car in the scenic area that can go up, but it still feels good to walk up by yourself. If you want to play, it will take at least half a day, so it is recommended to bring some food and drinks. It is still very necessary.

By FEI Warm Summer |

Each season has its own beauty. Cherry blossoms in spring, lotus flowers in summer, and plum blossoms in winter are so beautiful. You can go boating on the lake, and the cruise ships connect multiple scenic spots. Water and land transportation are very convenient.

Even though the snow-white pear blossoms temporarily dominated our attention, cherry blossoms still occupied the most important place in our hearts. So we left the pear grove and continued to look for traces of cherry blossoms in the East Lake Pear Garden.

A corner, a pavilion, a cherry tree, lonely and sparse, but looking to the right, it is a field of pink cherry blossoms, against a pavilion, against a pool of clear water, against this perfect spring scenery. The desire in my heart was shouted out with my lips and teeth, and I walked quickly. Just then a breeze blew, and a shower of cherry blossoms fell in front of me. The girl's heart was free and unrestrained from then on.

One of the most popular cherry blossom viewing spots in Wuhan is located in the Moshan Scenic Area. The place is large and not crowded even if there are many people. There are some Japanese-style buildings and objects, which are very artistic. There are lights at night to enjoy the night cherry blossoms. However, due to the location being a bit far from the center of Wuhan, and the traffic being congested during the peak cherry blossom viewing season, many taxis refused to take me there. I had to rely on Didi to get there. When I was 1 kilometer away from there, traffic control began, limiting the number of license plates to odd and even numbers. I have to say that the traffic in Wuhan is still very bad. When I left, I found a long queue at the door. It turned out that everyone was taking the bus back to the city center.

It's a little far, but the scenery is still very good and the ticket is not expensive at 60.

The environment is very good, it is a nice place, especially in late autumn, the maple leaves that are about to turn yellow are so beautiful

The Moshan Scenic Area of Donghu Lake holds a lotus exhibition every summer. Many rare varieties of lotus can be seen in the lotus garden, which is very beautiful!

It is recommended to come here to enjoy the cherry blossoms during the Cherry Blossom Festival. There are more flowers here, and it is more spectacular than the Wuda

I would rather spend 60 yuan to see the cherry blossoms at Moshan than go to Wuhan University. There are too many people at Wuhan University, and Moshan has rapeseed flowers and February orchids in addition to cherry blossoms.
