When I first came to Yichang, I had to mention the "Three Gorges People's Home" attraction. Because I had heard about it a long time ago, I made a special trip to visit it on New Year's Eve at the end of 2021. The scenery is very good! Although it is not summer, the Longjinxi scenic spot is still under renovation, which is a bit regrettable! But the Bachu culture of the scenic spot deeply attracted me. The Three Gorges People's Home Scenic Area is divided into three parts: People's Home on the Water, People's Home by the Stream, and People's Home on the Mountain.

Tickets: Adult ticket is 150 yuan, round-trip boat ticket is 30 yuan, one-way cable car is 30 yuan, round-trip is 50 yuan, and escalator is 30 yuan.

Looking around, the Yangtze River here is both magnificent and deep and beautiful. When the world-famous Three Gorges Dam was built, the fantastic and magnificent Xiling Gorge was divided into two parts. The water level of the upstream section of the dam was raised by 175 meters. The previously magnificent and beautiful scenery of Xiling Gorge will be greatly changed. Only the Dengying Gorge downstream of the dam has maintained the true original canyon scenery.

The rectangular flat stone halfway up the mountain is the "Shi Pai Ling". It is 32 meters high and weighs more than 4,300 tons. It is regarded as a sacred object by the people of Xijiang.

Looking at Shipai from a distance, it seems ordinary. The four strange rocks standing on the top of the opposite mountain are very similar to the vivid image of Tang Monk and his four disciples in the Journey to the West. Tang Monk sits with his eyes closed, Wukong explores the way in front, Bajie sticks out his belly in the middle, and Sha Monk walks forward with a heavy load, following closely. Whenever the sun sets in the west and the sunset glows against the top of the mountain, they look like characters on the screen of a lantern play, so lifelike that they are named "Dengying Stone". When Mr. Guo Moruo traveled to Dengying Gorge, he once wrote a poem in praise: "Tang Monk and his disciples stand on the top of the mountain, and the lantern shadows link pigs and monkeys."

We drove from more than 20 kilometers away at 6:30 and the queue was not bad. You can arrange a day to play slowly. If you have time after leaving the scenic area, you can go to the Three Gorges Dam



💰 Tickets for Sanxia Renjia + ferry cost 180 yuan, which can be purchased at Wangjiaping Transfer Center and Hujintan Visitor Center. It is recommended to buy online for 160-170 yuan, which is not only 10 yuan cheaper, but also can reduce the waiting time for ticket purchase during the holiday peak. Do not exchange tickets at Wangjiaping, but go directly to the self-service ticket machine on the second floor of the ticket office of Hujintan Visitor Center to pick up your tickets.



🏤Wangjiaping Transfer Center (transfer required on weekends and holidays), Wangjiaping Transfer Center has a large free parking lot, and there are free buses to transfer to Hujintan Visitor Center. So whether you drive or use other means of transportation, it is best to go to Wangjiaping Transfer Center first. During the peak holiday period, the bus starts running at 7 am



🚌If you plan to spend two days in Yichang, there is a free 5A Three Gorges Dam Scenic Area more than 20 kilometers away from Sanxia Renjia. The sightseeing bus is 35 yuan per person, and you can also check in at the observation deck by yourself; there is also the Qingjiang Gallery Scenic Area in Changyang, more than 60 kilometers away, as well as various attractions around Yichang city.



⚠️Tips: There are local farmhouses soliciting customers at the intersection of S334 Provincial Road and Hujintan Tourist Center. You can drive in with their pass, but the condition is that you need to eat and consume at their farmhouse. It is not recommended to enter with their pass. First, the location of the farmhouses is along the road, and some farmhouses are still far away from the tourist center. You may think it is convenient to drive in, but it is actually far less convenient than the free transfer bus. Second, the meal time is difficult to control. The farmhouse and the scenic area are actually across the river. You cannot go back to the farmhouse to eat at meal time during the tour. You can only go back to the farmhouse to eat after the tour, or eat first and then visit the scenic area. It is recommended to bring your own dry food, snacks and water

This is probably the result of a winter trip to the Three Gorges. I went up the Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge, and then upstream to the Bashan and Shushui. I encountered a Three Gorges bus that was as gray as the Three Gorges Dam. It was not until I left the Xiling Gorge in Yichang that I saw the blue sky above my head. For me, as long as I can take things as they come, there will be no regrets on the journey. Although the Three Gorges Family at the end is a man-made attraction, I like the sailboats moored at the pier, which gives me the feeling of the sea laughing in "The Smiling, Proud Wanderer". I walked back and forth along the plank road to the Ba Palace and met many ancient Ba women statues with big breasts and big buttocks. Involuntarily, the quatrain of Shang Yin, who traveled to Bashu together thousands of years ago, appeared in my mind: "You ask when I will return, but there is no date. The night rain in Bashan swells the autumn pond. When will we cut the candle in the west window together and talk about the night rain in Bashan?"

First of all, you don’t need to go to the Three Gorges People’s Home attraction to see the scenery of the Yangtze River. There is no need to go to the Three Gorges People’s Home just to see the river view.

Second, the so-called tourist attractions should actually be newly built, not the original houses, villages, etc. of the indigenous people.

Third, the scenic spot is very small, and an hour of walking is too much (it takes 25 minutes to walk from the cableway to Longjingxi Ferry). Of course, it takes longer to watch the show. I climbed to the mountain village without sweating.

Fourth, the ticket is 180 per person, cable car is charged separately, elevator is charged separately. What does 180 mean? Huashan is 180 yuan for two days, and Wudang Mountain is also 170 yuan for multiple days.

Fifth, if you want to drive in from the entrance of Nantuo scenic spot, sorry, you must first book a hotel inside for meals or accommodation, otherwise the security guard will not let you in. After booking, the hotel owner will use your phone to tell the security guard, and you will be allowed in.

One-day tour with the group Longjinxi scenery quality is good and the route planning is reasonable. Bawangzhai feels OK. I didn't have time to visit other places. The most commendable thing is that the scenic area has a strong sense of safety. Basically all places have measures to prevent falling rocks, and there are guardrails on the riverside trail.

I thought other people's cameras were better, but actually every photo taken with a cell phone looks like a painting.

This place is surrounded by mountains and rivers, with dense forests and swaying bamboos. The scenery is indeed pleasant. It is a kind of luck to see the natural scenery that has not been overdeveloped in this land!

To be honest, there is no need for beauty filters, any photo can be used as a desktop. I believe that for those who rarely see landscapes or those who like photography, it is still worth visiting.

Outside the canyon, the Yangtze River flows eastward, while inside the canyon, the Longjin Creek is calm. There is a clear dividing line between the turbid Yangtze River water and the clear creek water.

It's beautiful and worth a visit! Although I only saw the people on the stream. I look forward to visiting the people on the mountain and the people on the water next time.

At first, I was tricked by Didi's ride-sharing driver into signing up for a one-day tour. I complained to Didi but they didn't care. On the surface, they said they would contact me to deal with it. Anyway, I finally accepted my fate and went with the one-day tour. The driver originally told us that the boat would leave at 8 o'clock, but we had to wait until the boat was full before leaving. The tour guide kept pushing me to buy things along the way. When we got to the scenic spot, my god, are all the national 5a given away casually? What is this? I think that except for the good scenery on both sides of Xiling Gorge, there is no need to go into the Three Gorges. It feels like it is all newly built. There is nothing fun in the entire scenic area, and the ticket is so expensive. It can't be compared with other 5a.

I went there in 2005 when it was just built. The scenery is really nice and I recommend it. It is still one of the most recommended tourist attractions in Yichang. But don't go during the Golden Week because there will be too many people.

You can overlook the Yangtze River halfway up the mountain, and there are many ships on the river. Finally, take a boat back to the tourist center at the pier.

The Three Gorges People's Scenic Area is located about 20 kilometers from the urban area of Yichang. There is a direct bus at the Yiling Square bus station, which is very convenient. The fare is about 15 yuan and the ride is about an hour. The ticket for the Three Gorges People's Scenic Area is 170, including the boat ticket, which must be booked online one day in advance. Because the scenic area is conveniently located and has a superior location, there will naturally be more people coming to play, so try to come earlier. The scenic area is relatively large and it takes a day to visit it completely. We are a little faster because we are good at hiking. The scenery of the scenic area is good. The water of Longjin Creek is very clear, and it looks beautiful when photographed. There are also actors and props in various scenic spots, which look particularly good when photographed. There are various performances in the scenic area, so don't miss them. They are very beautiful and very good. If you are in good health, it is not recommended to take the cable car up the mountain. The people of Sanxia are still very beautiful when viewed from above, but Bawang Palace and Bawang Village are not very interesting. There will be a performance at the square at 11:30.

It takes nearly an hour to get from Yichang to Sanxia Renjia, which is 35 kilometers away. The mountain road is very steep, and there is tinnitus at high altitudes. There is a lot of fog in the early morning. The scenery is very beautiful in the mist, but you need to be careful when driving, as the visibility is less than 5 meters. You need to be 120% alert.

The ticket price for the Sanxia Family Scenic Area is 150 yuan, and the boat ticket is 30 yuan. If you have an officer's card or a student's card, you can get a discount. In the morning, there was heavy fog around the mountain, and the scenery had a sense of rivers and lakes.



Macaques live in rocky habitats in mountain broad-leaved forests. They like to move on the ground and spend the night in cliff crevices, steep cliffs or large trees. They feed on leaves, buds, fruits, branches and bamboo shoots of various plants. Some tourists will feed them food, and they will not refuse it. After a few years, they will be a brave man again.



There are folk customs explanations and demonstrations along the way. According to Tujia customs, when young men and women meet and fall in love during work, they will use "songs as matchmakers and shoes as a seal of affection" to get engaged. When the man and woman are determined to be in a relationship, they will start preparing for the wedding, one month or half a month before the wedding. The girl will cry for marriage. At first, she would cry overnight, and later, she would cry all night. All the sisters and aunts in the village who are in love with each other would take turns to cry with her, weeping and complaining, happy and sad, with a mixture of sadness and joy.



The "stilted building" by the stream is unique in that it is low in front and high in the back, with corridors on the side and balconies in the back. It is commonly known as the "corner building".

Shipai Fortress. . Shipai, where Yangjia Creek is located. . It has a strategically important position and is easy to defend but difficult to attack. It has been a battleground for military strategists throughout history.

The tour guide told us a simple arrangement (meal time, performance time), it has been so long that I can't remember a lot (it's important to write a travel note in time). We visited Longjin Creek's Water People, Creekside People (enjoy Tujia wedding performances, watch wild macaques in the Three Gorges), Huanglong Waterfall, Mountain People, and after lunch we were free to visit the Dengying Gorge Scenic Area. The scenery is average, but I can't bear not to go. I have a mentality of walking by, passing by, and not missing it. Fortunately, children like to climb mountains. The boring road for me is like a playground for children.

The most unsatisfactory thing was that we went to the toilet on the way back and he just left without calling us and abandoned us at the dock. He called us but he didn't answer. The scenic area is divided into three scenic spots, which have been carefully built and have many activities to play. We only played Yangjinxi, which took 4 hours (mainly for taking pictures). The activities include sailing, water boatmen, wedding etiquette and other scheduled performances, and the cost is included in the ticket.

Since we stayed overnight near Sanyou Cave, we shared a car from Sanyou Cave to Sanxia Renjia in the morning. The total cost was 120 per person. There is a shuttle bus at the entrance of the scenic spot back to the city, and the bus leaves about every half an hour in the afternoon.

Sanxia Renjia is divided into two scenic spots: Bawangzhai and Longjinxi. If you have enough energy, you may as well climb the peak above Bawangzhai. There are Yueyue Pavilion and Dengying Stone on the top. It only takes 20 minutes to reach the top. The view of Yueyue Pavilion is very good, and you can eat local cucumbers on the top of the mountain. This thing is definitely a fruit, which is fragrant and refreshing.

There are many performances in the scenic area, which are worth seeing. But when it rains, many outdoor performances are gone~ For example, we didn’t see the little brother playing the flute in Yaoyue Pavilion╮(╯▽╰)╭The tour guide said he might be lazy and didn’t come out~
