The Dragon Elevator is magnificent, with a vertical height difference of 335 meters and an operating height of 326 meters. It consists of a 154-meter vertical shaft in the mountain and a 172-meter steel structure derrick attached to the mountain. It uses three double-layer fully exposed sightseeing elevators that run in parallel and separately. At present, it is unique in the world for the three titles of "the world's highest fully exposed outdoor sightseeing elevator, the world's highest double-layer sightseeing elevator, and the world's largest and fastest sightseeing elevator". It is included in the Guinness World Records and is a perfect combination of natural beauty and man-made wonders. The completion of the Bailong Elevator has achieved the goal of "traveling in the mountains and living at the foot of the mountains", and has brought the peerless beauty of Yuanjiajie, Jinbianxi, the No. 1 Bridge in the World, and Mihuntai from behind the scenes to the front stage, solving the traffic bottleneck problem that has plagued the scenic area for many years. Practice has proved that the construction of the Bailong Elevator is very important.

The Bailong Elevator was started in September 1999 and put into operation in April 2002. The main equipment was produced in Germany and cost RMB 180 million. It is known as "the world's tallest, fastest and heaviest elevator" and has been included in the Guinness World Records. The Bailong Elevator has a vertical height difference of 335 meters and an operating height of 326 meters. Each elevator can carry 50 passengers and has an operating speed of 3 meters per second. When three elevators are running at the same time, the round-trip volume per hour reaches 4,000. In 2013, the Bailong Elevator was expanded and upgraded, with a one-way capacity of about 400 people per hour and a speed increase from 3 meters per second to 5 meters per second. The construction of the Bailong Elevator has brought the peerless beauty of Yuanjiajie and Yangjiajie from behind the scenes to the front stage, and has connected the boutique tourist routes such as Tianzi Mountain, Yuanjiajie and Jinbianxi, solving the traffic bottleneck problem that has plagued the scenic area for many years. Before the construction of the Bailong Elevator, tourists had to walk for more than an hour on the mountain road from Jinbianxi to Yuanjiajie; if they took a car from Shuirao Simen at the bottom of the mountain to Yuanjiajie on the mountain, the winding mountain road was very dangerous and the journey was more than 100 kilometers and took more than five hours. However, it only takes 1 minute and 58 seconds to take the Bailong Elevator, which greatly facilitates tourists' travel.

The 66-second scenic area traffic, although only a short moment, but it gives tourists a miraculous experience, this is China's first, the world's highest, can be called a wonder of the world. Its completion plays a scientific role in the allocation of tourist flow in Zhangjiajie Scenic Area, and also creates a highlight for Zhangjiajie tourism.

This combination of natural landscape and man-made miracle has gradually moved towards harmony and perfection through the test of time and practice.

At 8:30am, the sightseeing bus arrived at the lower station of Bailong Elevator. But it was drizzling at this time, so cold! It was really spectacular!!! This is the world's highest outdoor elevator, a Guinness record holder. Through a long tunnel. You have to take an elevator to get to the bottom of Bailong Elevator. The one-way elevator costs 65 yuan.

The elevator has a vertical height difference of 335 meters, and it takes less than 2 minutes to reach the top of the mountain to enjoy the beautiful scenery. It is listed in the Guinness World Records as the "highest, fastest and heaviest sightseeing elevator in the world" and is known as the world's first elevator.

We didn't go to the Bailong Elevator this time, but we saw the Bailong Elevator hanging on the opposite mountain from the observation deck in Laowuchang, which was very spectacular.

By Leather Hill |

The Bailong Elevator is made of fully transparent glass and has a vertical height difference of 335 meters, which is quite impressive.

The elevator that you must take to go up the mountain is a masterpiece of engineering and is worth seeing.

The world's best, an outdoor elevator with a vertical speed of 326 meters and a very fast speed

By Li is |

I was so amused by the monkeys on the Bailong Elevator that I almost lost the tour guide.

By Cherry tomatoes |

It's so boring! It's just an ordinary high-rise elevator! So many people take the elevator every day, and the space is too small.

By Zhiyuan O_O |

When you get to Bailong Ladder, buy a ticket first, which costs 72 yuan for a one-way trip. Many people don't know that this is a one-way trip, and they go in directly on the return trip, and then find that they need to buy a ticket.

By Tai Chi Soldier |

The scenery is beautiful, the service is warm and thoughtful, and the itinerary is reasonably designed to provide tourists with more high-quality services. Thank you to the travel agency. Thank you to the driver and the tour guide for all the services we provide to us. We will come to Zhangjiajie again in the future.

By Feng Jiangyue |

It takes 15 seconds to get from the bottom of the mountain to the foot of the mountain, but it takes a long time to queue up. You can't see the scenery outside clearly when riding, but it is still worth a ride and it is convenient to go up the mountain.

By Be careful |

It was good, but the time was too fast. Although it was exciting, I didn't enjoy it~

By zegmw55 |

In Wulingyuan, you can see the Bailong Ladder standing in the mountains from any position. When you take photos, it always appears in the right place, giving your photos a unique modern feel.

By lingyuban |

It feels great to rise quickly in the green ocean! You can enjoy the beautiful scenery and feel very excited! It is an unforgettable experience.

By Traveling Locke |

If possible, it is best not to take the Bailong Elevator, because it charges a fee. Although it is the first elevator in Asia, you can't see anything, and it is very fast and goes down very quickly.

By erqiaobo |

It was unfortunate that we went to Zhangjiajie because many means of transportation were not open due to weather reasons. Only the Bailong Elevator could continue to operate, taking tourists up the mountain. The feeling after sitting on it was steady and exciting. Wulingyuan was even more beautiful in the mist.

Bailong Elevator Company was established in April 1999 and is located in the Wulingyuan Scenic Area of Zhangjiajie, a world natural heritage site. The Bailong Elevator is magnificent, with a vertical height difference of 335 meters and an operating height of 326 meters. It is currently listed in the Guinness World Records for its three titles of "the world's highest fully exposed outdoor sightseeing elevator, the world's highest double-decker sightseeing elevator, and the world's largest and fastest sightseeing elevator". It is a perfect combination of natural beauty and man-made wonders.

By Ming Sun and Moon |

It is 300 meters high but the speed is very fast, so it is much easier for older tourists to go up by this elevator.

By Big Bad Wolf |

It affects the entire natural scenery. If you are in the inner part of the elevator, you can't see the scenery outside.

By chouguashou |

The front view of Zhangjiajie Bailong Elevator is really shocking. When the elevator rushes out of the ground, it really gives people a bright feeling!

By Viya |

People who like heights will probably like this project, like me.

By Mr. Ai eRic |

The vertical height difference of the elevator is 335 meters, and the operating height is 326 meters. There are three elevators running side by side, and each is made of fully transparent glass. When taking the elevator, you can enjoy a great view of Zhangjiajie through the glass: the gathering of divine soldiers, which is composed of dozens of relatively independent stone peaks. The Bailong Elevator is listed in the Guinness World Records for being "the world's tallest, fastest running, and heaviest-load elevator."

By Liu Yi Cui Cui Paper |

It is recommended to sit from the bottom to the top. It is a wonderful feeling when the beautiful scenery suddenly comes into view.

By It's an osmanthus demon. |

It took only 66 seconds, a short moment, for me to reach the top of the mountain from the foot of the mountain. I chose a one-way ticket for 72 yuan, and a student ID card can get a 50% discount. It is indeed a first in China, a miraculous combination of man and nature.

There are many monkeys on the mountain, and they will steal tourists' food. So it's best to pay attention to your luggage, and it's best not to provoke the monkeys, or you will be scratched.

By Zhixin1 |

The scenery below the Bailong Elevator is also worth seeing.

By Mumu |

In order to avoid the crowds, we arrived at the gate before 8 o'clock, passed the security check and ticket check, and took the scenic bus to the "Bailong Elevator Lower Station". Building such a high elevator in the mountains is a huge project, which is great. You can see the top of the elevator at the bottom of the mountain, and you can see the mountains of Yuanjiajie by taking the elevator up.

The Bailong Elevator is very famous. I was a little scared when I saw other people’s videos about it because it goes too fast, but after actually experiencing it, I felt that it is just an ordinary elevator, very stable.

I had heard that the queue for the Bailong Elevator was very long. I don’t know if it was because we went at a different peak time or were just lucky, but on October 1st, there were almost no people there and we didn’t have to wait much.

When I got to Bailong Elevator, I bought a ticket first, then went inside and queued up to get into the elevator. From the railings, I could tell that there were a lot of people during peak hours. I followed the crowd and got on the elevator quickly. After more than a minute, I got out of the elevator and saw a completely different world where I could see the mountains from above.

By ekship |

Taking the Bailong Elevator to and from Yuanjiajie is quick and easy, but the cost is not low (70 yuan in early 2016). Take the shuttle bus at Shuiraosimen to get off at the Bailong Elevator. Walk more than 200 meters on the flat stone road to the top of the mountain to reach the shuttle parking lot, where you can take a bus to Yuanjiajie. At the Laowuchang, Shenbing Juhui Observation Deck, you can see the Bailong Elevator opposite.

By Little Wow |

The ticket price for Bailong Elevator is 70. It is made of transparent glass on three sides, similar to the sightseeing elevators in shopping malls, but the feeling is different. It is super fast, about 100 meters up in less than a minute. As a senior patient with acrophobia, I think it is very scary. And some people said it would be great if the floor below was also transparent. I really want to call him to death.

About one kilometer from the Bailong Elevator, you will reach the Environmental Protection Station.

By Bugs |

The scenery taken in the elevator is just different.

A magnificent man-made building should be recorded in history.

By Jason Peng |

First of all, I queued for 1 hour and sat for 1 minute. The sightseeing effect was very poor. There was only one glass wall, and people who entered later could not see anything. When I complained, the staff looked down on me and said that if I didn’t like it, I shouldn’t sit there and don’t make noise here. I was very disappointed.

By Water String One |

We bought a round-trip ticket for the Bailong Elevator, which costs 72 yuan each way, to experience the outdoor elevator.

The promotional advertisement was shot very beautifully. We queued for half an hour before we could get on the Bailong Elevator which takes 1 minute and 58 seconds.

When the elevator rose, everyone was stunned by the beautiful view outside the window! Wow!

By Doraemon 007 |

It only takes one minute to reach Yuanjiajie by taking the Bailong Elevator

You can also enjoy the gathering of the gods

By Greedy cat |

When you come to Zhangjiajie, you must experience the Bailong Sky Ladder, a sightseeing elevator hung on the side of the mountain. The Bailong Sky Ladder was created by the magic of nature. This man-made mountain can well explain what ingenuity means! Unfortunately, the time to enjoy the beautiful scenery is too short.

An elevator can accommodate about 10 people. Only those standing on the outside can see the scenery. If you stand in the middle of the elevator, you can't see anything.

It connects Shilihualang and Yuanjiajie. There are three parallel trains running separately. It takes only 2 minutes to get from the bottom of the mountain to the top. The one-way ticket is 72 yuan for adults and 43 yuan for students.

To be honest, riding the elevator down the mountain did not give me the thrill of riding a roller coaster as I had expected, but it was still very comfortable.

The one-way discount ticket for Bailong Elevator is: ¥36

After exiting the ladder, there is a relatively large observation deck on the left. If the weather is good, the scenery here should be unparalleled.

By Fake photographer Xiao Xiao |

The road before taking the elevator seemed so long that the actual time taking the elevator seemed so short, and we arrived in a flash.

By Dido |

The Bailong Elevator takes just over a minute to reach the top of the mountain. Although the scenery inside the elevator is beautiful, it is separated by glass and the time is short, so it is not very satisfying. There is an observation deck next to the elevator where you can enjoy the view slowly.

By Midou goes traveling |

The Bailong Elevator is built close to the mountain, and it takes only one minute to reach a height of more than 300 meters. The experience of taking the Bailong Elevator up is excellent, not only because it is fast, but also because the sightseeing effect is very good. The mountains opposite the ladder are like vertical square pillars, lined up in a row, and almost the same height, like a team of neatly arranged soldiers. Standing in the ladder and rising rapidly, the opposite mountain goes from looking up to looking down, like a leader reviewing the troops, the visual effect is quite shocking, and the tourists in the elevator can't help but exclaim.

Ticket price: ¥72; students ¥43.

Reference time: 10 minutes

The Bailong Elevator is worth taking because there is no need to queue during the off-season, so our experience was very good. Although the process of going up the mountain really does not exceed one minute, the scenery is still very beautiful.

The scenery outside the Bailong Elevator can be said to be very beautiful. The weather at this time is really great, with blue sky and white clouds, and not a drop of rain.

The Bailong Elevator reached the top very quickly, so there was basically no time to take photos, but there was an observation deck after I got out of the station. Although I don't remember what I saw, it was a masterpiece of nature. Such endless mountains naturally require imagination to match the name of the scenic spot.

After walking along the Golden Whip Stream, you can take a bus. It takes about 5 minutes to get to the Bailong Elevator. The one-way trip costs 72 per person. We took a photo at the door and went in to take the elevator. We saw the long queue. Imagine the number of people waiting in line for the elevator here during the peak season. We were so happy.

When I got to the door, there was no one to close it. I opened the door and went in. There were only three of us in the elevator except the elevator lady. We had to use the elevator for ourselves. It took a minute and a half and cost 72 yuan. But considering the cost and maintenance, it is normal to charge this fee.

It's just an ordinary, not very affordable, and it's just a "transportation tool" that only lasts a few seconds. It's spectacular from the viewing platform in front, but that's all. If I could choose again, I would rather take the Huangshizhai cable car.

The Bailong Elevator is a true manifestation of wisdom. It combines the Golden Whip Stream and other scenic spots at the foot of the mountain with the Yangjiajie and Yuanjiajie on the mountain. It not only solves the tourism problem well, but also becomes a very attractive scenic spot in itself. It is a pleasant surprise whether you experience it yourself or watch it from afar.

This elevator is not included in the ticket, and needs to be paid separately, 72 yuan/adult. Because it was night and there were 2 children (already hiking for 8 hours), we were forced to take it. The elevator took a few minutes to go down, which was quite fast.

By Yu Jiarui (Foshan) |

We took the Bailong Elevator, which was fast but stable, and everyone cheered. After exiting the Bailong Elevator, there is a platform where you can see a great view. It was a pity for the weather that day, but I was very happy to see the mountain! The scenery was different every minute, and the clouds were floating very fast! Because there were so many people, I had to stretch out my phone to take pictures. The real thing was more shocking than the photo, and I felt a little weak in the legs at the time. I am actually not afraid of heights.

The highlight of Wulingyuan - Bailong Elevator.

The Bailong Elevator provides convenient transportation for tourists, greatly promotes the large-scale evacuation of hotels, residents and other reception facilities in the scenic area, and provides the greatest and most effective protection for the environment. Yuanjiajie is another scenic spot in the Wulingyuan World Natural Heritage. In the past, tourists had to walk more than three hours on the difficult mountain road to get there. If they took a car from Shuirao Simen at the bottom of the mountain to Yuanjiajie on the mountain, the rugged winding mountain road was very dangerous, and the journey was more than 170 kilometers and took more than five hours. Since the construction of the Bailong Elevator, this time has been shortened to 1 minute and 32 seconds, which is a miracle.

By tdh9000 |

Zhangjiajie is like this. Cableways, elevators, and winding mountain roads can all become attractions, including the magnificent Bailong Elevator. Just take a look. It's expensive to ride it once.

By Beef Village Chief |

The Bailong Elevator has been recorded in the Guinness World Records. When you come to the park and experience it for yourself, you will be shocked and can't help but admire people's creativity!

In the past, it was unthinkable that you could take an elevator from the foot of such a tall mountain to the top of the mountain in less than 5 minutes. It is the advanced technology and the wisdom of the people that have brought us such great convenience in traveling!

The elevator is half surrounded by transparent glass so you can enjoy the scenery. The first time I took it, I stayed at the end. I only heard everyone exclaiming "Wow!" but didn't see the amazing up and down difference! Fortunately, the second time I went down, I happened to be the first one in line and immediately occupied a great position. In an instant, I went vertically down from a height of 358 meters. The scenery in front of me changed again and again, and finally it became pitch black. I didn't have time to react before I reached the ground. The speed was so fast and the distance was so high that it was amazing!

Although the queues are long during peak tourist season, it is still worth the experience!

The sun was so bright that the photo was either all white in the sky or all black in the elevator, so the photo was a bit bad! In the end, the first photo taken by my mom was the best!

Seeing is believing. The Bailong Elevator is very fast. It is a double-decker elevator. This time period is not the peak season, so the queue time is not long. At the beginning, it is basically inside the mountain, and the scenery can only be seen for about ten seconds. When the scenery was first seen, the tourists in the elevator cheered and held various brands of mobile phones above their heads to take pictures. I couldn't squeeze by the glass, so I just looked at the scenery through the gap between the crowds.

By lavender chihiro ty |

The whole process only takes a little over a minute and costs 72 yuan, which is a rip-off.

By Natural Curl Small Sheet |

The Bailong Elevator is the highest outdoor elevator. It actually goes down very quickly, so most people will have tinnitus.

By shanghaijinhai |

The vertical height difference of the Bailong Elevator is more than 300 meters, and the running time is only 3-5 minutes. Less than half of it runs in the mountain, and the other half runs in the sightseeing shaft outside the mountain. It is really beautiful to watch the rapidly sinking mountains in the elevator. It is said that it has been included in the Guinness World Records as the highest outdoor elevator honor. But I was also very sad that I lost dozens of yuan in a few minutes. It was only when I saw the Bailong Elevator inserted in the middle of the mountain from the front of the Sky Garden that I really felt the majesty and uniqueness of the Bailong Elevator.

This is the famous Bailong Ladder. A group of old men and women are waiting in line to sit on it. It is very likely to queue for an hour or two during holidays. But we didn't sit there because it felt too sunny. And the scenery

I've ridden this before in Wulong, Chongqing, and the one in Zhangjiajie is said to be the longest, but I don't believe it. Zhangjiajie just has a self-promotional feel.

The tour provided by the travel agency is useless. You can only see the scenery outside for a few seconds, and the rest is walking in the mountains.

In the past, people went up the mountain by cable car, but Bailong Elevator is a new way to go up the mountain. It is spectacular outside, so it is nice to go in and experience it. Anyway, 72 yuan is about the same as the cable car.

The 66-second trip of the Bailong Elevator Zhangjiajie Water-circling Four-door Sightseeing Elevator is just a short moment, but it gives tourists a miraculous experience. This is China's first, the highest in the world, and a wonder on earth. Its completion plays a scientific role in allocating the flow of tourists to Zhangjiajie Scenic Area and also creates a highlight for Zhangjiajie tourism.

The Bailong Elevator is in full view from Laowuchang, and it looks asymmetrical compared to the majestic mountains.

The observation deck of the Bailong Elevator is quite good, and the surrounding scenery is beautiful, but I think the Bailong Elevator is just famous for nothing and is not worth taking.
