The Orange Island Bridge starts from Fenglin 1st Road in the west, crosses the Xiangjiang River and Orange Island, and ends at Furong Middle Road in the east; the total length of the line is 1,532 meters.
I walked a long, long way along the river. It was very hot and humid that day. I was soaked in the wind and felt relieved.
The Orange Island Bridge was originally named "Changsha Xiangjiang River Bridge". It is the first bridge across the Xiangjiang River in Changsha. It is located at the west end of Wuyi Avenue in the urban area of Changsha City and spans the famous Orange Island.
You have to cross the Juzizhou Bridge to get from Wuyi Square to the head of Juzizhou and Hunan University and Yuelu Mountain on the west bank of Xiangjiang River. You can walk up and down to Juzizhou and enjoy the beautiful scenery on both sides of the river.
Take a boat tour and enjoy the scenery from different angles, great!
The Orange Island Bridge (formerly known as "Changsha Xiangjiang Bridge" or "Xiangjiang No. 1 Bridge") is the first bridge across the Xiangjiang River in Changsha. It is located at the western end of Wuyi Avenue (Changsha) in Changsha City and between the town of Xuanwan, spanning the famous Orange Island.
This bridge is a very distinctive bridge. The characteristic is that there is an opening in the middle of the bridge, so vehicles can go down to Orange Island. If not, you can stand on the bridge and overlook the beautiful scenery of Orange Island. In addition, the Xiangjiang River flows from south to north, the river is wide and the waves are rippling. The buildings on both sides of the Xiangjiang River complement each other, which really gives people a sense of relaxation and nature.
A bridge across the Xiangjiang River………………
You can directly reach Orange Island Park, which is a good place to view the scenery on both sides of the Xiangjiang River.
You can get a glimpse of the true colors of the Xiangjiang River. It is a very imposing bridge.
It is suitable for viewing from a distance on the shore, but you also have to walk through it to get to Orange Island.
Very beautiful, across Jiangmen, you can see it from Orange Island, there are vehicles shuttling back and forth, and the city feels very strong
The scenery is nice, it is built on the Xiangjiang River, and below is Orange Island
I spent a few days in Changsha when I went to Zhangjiajie Fenghuang in 2010. The business trip in 2017 was even more rushed.
The Orange Island Bridge is the only car access to Orange Island. There is nothing special about the design of the bridge. It looks like an old building from the last century, but it complements and blends in with the Xiangjiang River.
The Xiangjiang Bridge is still very impressive, but you should take photos early~ The other side of the Xiangjiang Bridge is Hunan Satellite TV. Students who like it can go there for a visit
The scenery of Orange Island Bridge is still very beautiful, but it is very hot and sunny.
For more details, please see my travel notes! There are many strategies in it
I looked at the Orange Island Bridge from a distance and then walked across the Orange Island Bridge.
The Orange Island Bridge is not as nice to walk on as it looks. The lane and the sidewalk are separated by railings. It was originally for safety reasons. However, the awkward existence of electric bikes has become a big problem. If you drive on the car lane, the safety of the electric bike owner is not guaranteed. If you drive on the sidewalk, the safety of pedestrians is seriously not guaranteed. The sidewalk is only wide enough for 3 people to walk side by side. Even so, there are still times when two-way electric bikes meet each other.
The entire sidewalk was filled with the sound of beeps, and walking among the speeding gangs was terrifying. Lazi Province's loud voice and impatience were fully reflected on the narrow sidewalk.
The Orange Island Bridge is still very beautiful at night.
The night view of the Orange Island Bridge is very beautiful. It is said to be the first bridge across the Xiangjiang River in Changsha.
The first bridge across the Xiangjiang River in Changsha is located between the western end of Wuyi Avenue in Changsha and Xuanwan Town, spanning the famous Orange Island. The night view is super beautiful, and the memory of standing on the bridge to watch the fireworks show is really unforgettable!!!
The Orange Island Bridge is very beautiful when it is lit up at night.
The Juzizhou Bridge across the Xiangjiang River is so cool. When we were in Changsha, the weather was very cold. When we walked on the bridge, the wind was very strong. Our hair was all in a mess. We were shivering the whole time... Although it was terribly cold, I just liked the thrilling feeling of being cold, so we walked on this bridge twice. Hahahahaha.
It is on the Xiangjiang River, also called the Xiangjiang Bridge, where people and cars can pass and it is connected to Orange Island.
Take Metro Line 2 directly to the bottom of the Orange Island Bridge, which is about one-third of the Orange Island. To the south is the famous Orange Island Head, and to the north is the Orange Island Tail.
Very good, the river breeze was blowing, and it was a little rainy that day, but it didn't affect the scenery
It's raining, and the scenery I took seems to be covered with a layer, and it's not fun anymore
The earliest bridge across the Xiangjiang River in Changsha. Due to its age, the road surface is damaged.
The Orange Island Bridge was originally named Hujiang Bridge or Xiangjiang No. 1 Bridge. It is 1,250 meters long and is the first bridge across the Xiangjiang River in Changsha. It also crosses the famous Orange Island. The road on the bridge is similar to a highway, and the sidewalks on both sides of the bridge are still bicycle lanes for citizens. I personally feel that walking on it is a bit crowded.
Standing by the river, do you feel a lot of emotion? It feels like looking at the red mountains from the Orange Island.
Look at the Xiangjiang River, the waves and the sand, and the view is very broad.
The Juzizhou Bridge (formerly known as the Changsha Xiangjiang Bridge or the Xiangjiang No. 1 Bridge) is the first bridge across the Xiangjiang River in Changsha. It is located between the western end of Wuyi Avenue (Changsha) in Changsha and the town of Xuanwan, and spans the famous Juzizhou. The Juzizhou Bridge is the first bridge across the Xiangjiang River in Changsha.
Maybe it will be more beautiful at night. When you walk on the bridge, many bicycles will come from the opposite side.
The way to open it is wrong. I walked up but I didn't expect the bridge to be so long! In the end, I took a motorcycle down and walked to despair...
There are a lot of nice graffiti under the bridge, which is especially interesting under the lights at night.
Just look at it from a distance~~ It's a landmark building when you get closer, it's colorful~
Since Taiping Street is not long, it didn't take too long to get out of the north exit. Then we headed to the next stop, which is also a key scenic spot, Orange Island. At first, I wanted to go directly west from Wuyi Avenue via the Orange Island Bridge. I don't know if it was due to road construction or other reasons. I could only go down the side road, cross Xiangjiang Middle Road, and then walk up the steps on the Xiangjiang River bank to the pedestrian walkway on the bridge. This back and forth wasted a lot of my time. It was almost 3 o'clock in the afternoon. Maybe it was a profound reflection of the saying "the movement and development of all things is wave-like progress" in reality. The only reward was some bridge views~
When I was walking on the bridge, I felt a bit of cold wind, and it was headwind. This kind of wind felt like being cut by a knife whether it blew on my face or my hands and feet, which was very uncomfortable. So I quickened my pace to reach Orange Island as soon as possible. Here is a brief popular science: Orange Island Bridge is a large reinforced concrete hyperbolic arch highway bridge, which is also the largest in the country. It is 1,250 meters long, with a two-way 4-lane carriageway with a width of 14 meters, and the pedestrian walkways on both sides are 3 meters wide. There is a branch bridge on Orange Island, which is 282 meters long and 8 meters wide.
2017.2.20 After visiting Orange Island, the grandfather and his wife took the subway to visit the Xiangjiang Scenic Belt. The Orange Island Bridge was very magnificent from a distance.
The Orange Island Bridge is not a tourist attraction, but it is a good angle to see Orange Island and Yuelu Mountain from the east end (Kaifu District, Tianxin District). We walked from the west to the east of the bridge, and it took 15 minutes to walk 1,100 meters. The middle of the bridge is a motor vehicle lane, and pedestrians cannot cross. Non-motor vehicles and pedestrians are mixed on both sides. It would be better if there were dedicated sidewalks. If you want to walk to Orange Island, it is best to go down from the north side, where there is a spiral staircase. The south side is a car lane, and it takes too much walking to go down.
I walked across the Orange Island Bridge to eat across the bridge, but I didn't expect it to be so long...
It's as long as one stop. I should have taken a taxi earlier. . .
I was just passing by, but I couldn't help but stop to take in the scenery. The farthest thing was Yuelu Mountain, separated from where I was by Orange Island, and there was a layered river view.
The Juzizhou Bridge is an important bridge over the Xiangjiang River in Changsha, connecting the two banks of the Xiangjiang River and Juzizhou. The bridge is divided into two sections by Juzizhou, with an entrance and exit on Juzizhou, which is the only way to drive to Juzizhou.
At the riverbank of Orange Island Park, you can see the Orange Island Bridge spanning the Xiangjiang River. It was raining when I went there, and the misty beauty
The Orange Island Bridge is the first bridge across the Xiangjiang River in Changsha. It is a large reinforced concrete hyperbolic arch highway bridge with a total length of 1,250 meters and a main bridge with 21 spans, including a 17-span hyperbolic arch bridge with a maximum width of 76 meters. The net width of the bridge deck is 20 meters, including 14 meters for the carriageway and 3 meters for the sidewalks on both sides, spanning the famous Orange Island.
There are graffiti under the bridge, I don’t know how they were drawn there. The bridge is not long and you can walk directly to Orange Island.
Orange Island is really beautiful. It is a piece of pure land located in the center of the city along the Xiangjiang River. However, there are still many people there. Fortunately, there is a subway to reach it.
To get to Yuelu Mountain from Rongfu Hotel by taxi, you must cross the Xiangjiang River. There are two ways to cross the river, one is to go through the tunnel, and the other is to drive over the Orange Island Bridge. The driver asked us which way to choose, and we answered unanimously that we would take the Orange Island Bridge. The name of Orange Island is so familiar that everyone is eager to see it. When the taxi passed the Orange Island Bridge, we rolled down the window and looked out eagerly. The river is vast and open, but unfortunately the visibility was not very high that day, and we could not see farther.
The Orange Island Bridge is not big, but it is still nice to stand by the river and enjoy the scenery.
I came here when I first arrived in Changsha and the day before I left Changsha. My only regret was that I didn't see the fireworks.
I spent the whole afternoon strolling around Orange Island. When I came up to see it in the evening, wow, it was so beautiful!
I went to Changsha on July 2nd. It had been raining for several days in a row. I thought there would be no fireworks that night. When I was about to leave, I was struck by the beautiful scenery on the bridge. The picture below was taken with a mobile phone and is not very good. I suggest you go to see it in the evening when it won’t be too hot.
Traffic is too congested, it is recommended to take the bus. Walk up the bridge and go down to Orange Island Park in the middle of the bridge.
The Orange Island Bridge is a bridge connecting the Binjiang Road area and the Orange Island. My friend and I were full of energy (laughing...), so we walked to the Orange Island. It's not very far. As we walked, we could see the unbeatable river view along the way! The wind on the bridge was very strong and the sun was very bright. Of course, it also depends on the weather of the day~ You must go to Orange Island~ It's fun! I recommend taking a small train because this "small" island is really too big! ! I'll write a review of Orange Island next time~ That's all for today
The scenery is pretty good at night, and couples can rent a car to ride together.
The scenic area is very beautiful, similar to the parks here, very suitable for family outings.
After walking across the bridge, I felt the cold wind blowing from the Xiangjiang River.
The Orange Island Bridge is very beautiful at night, spanning the Xiangjiang River. The Orange Island Park below it is a place where many tourists can play and swim.
If you take a walk along the bridge, you will find more beautiful scenery.
A good place to spend time in the sun. I like it.
The wind was very strong and I was almost blown away when I first went up. There were many two-wheelers on the sidewalk, so you really have to watch the road or you will be hit. It's super dangerous.
Standing alone in the cold autumn, the Xiang River flows north, and at the end of Orange Island, I see the mountains all red, and the forests all dyed red
The scenery is beautiful, but it was very foggy during the days I was there.
DAY2: Changsha Orange Island --- just to take a photo with the hundred-yuan bill [happy][happy] This place is along the river, the air is good, there is no ticket, the subway goes directly to the scenic area, convenient and fast [beer][beer] I think the 🌲 on the island should be all oranges🌲 [picking nose][picking nose][picking nose] It feels a bit like a ⛳️ green [applause][applause]
What I remember most is the rape flowers next to the bridge, so beautiful. I went there with Dazi, and we hid in the rape flowers and couldn't find anyone.
When I came to Changsha to study in 2007, Orange Island was still in its old appearance with flying yellow earth. I remember that we went to the new campus of Xiangya University to participate in the school Olympics and walked to Orange Island for fun. There was really nothing much at that time. Some buildings from the Republic of China period were already dilapidated. The new look now finally gives Orange Island new life and vitality. It is worth a visit.
The Juzizhou Bridge is the Xiangjiang River Bridge. It is the first bridge across the Xiangjiang River in Changsha and also across Juzizhou. The construction of the Juzizhou Bridge officially started on September 6, 1971 and was completed and opened to traffic on October 1, 1972, providing convenience for people's travel. This hyperbolic arch bridge is the largest in the country. You can see the Juzizhou Bridge after taking the subway to Juzizhoutou Station. The scenery of the Juzizhou Bridge is beautiful, with the river flowing slowly under the bridge, and the maple leaves, ginkgo trees and high-rise buildings on both sides set off each other. You can enjoy its full view in the Juzizhoutou Scenic Area.
This is Changsha’s landmark and main transportation route.
I saw this bridge when I arrived at Orange Island. It's nothing special. I've seen bridges in Chongqing, and the others are just average. But I'll definitely stay here if I visit, it's a sight to behold.
We went there at night, so we didn’t have the chance to see the scenery during the day 😅
It is a must-go place to the Orange Island Bridge. It looks spectacular.
From Orange Island, I looked out over the first bridge across the Xiangjiang River in Changsha - Orange Island Bridge. It is said that Orange Island Bridge is still the largest hyperbolic arch bridge in the country. It is quite impressive.
When looking from afar at the Xiangjiang River, this bridge is also a scenic spot.
It was our first time to Changsha. We came here because of its reputation. It happened to be raining. A group of people walked around the bridge from Xiangjiang Middle Road with umbrellas to the Orange State subway station under the bridge. Walking on the Orange State Bridge in the rain, the misty Xiangjiang River was shrouded in mist, and the buildings standing on the shore were covered, which was like a different kind of blur. Unfortunately, the rain got heavier and my clothes were soaked, so I had to go back. The Orange State Bridge spans the Xiangjiang River and Orange State, connecting Furong District and Yuelu District in Changsha. It is the first Xiangjiang Bridge in Changsha. It looks big, but you can walk it all the way. However, you have to choose a direction to go up the bridge, because there are many vehicles passing through and pedestrians cannot cross to the other side. Then there are fireworks. You can also watch the Orange State fireworks every Saturday here.
