In fact, the Grand Canyon, Tianmen Mountain, and Wulingyuan belong to three places. In terms of transportation location, Tianmen Mountain is in Zhangjiajie City. It takes more than half an hour to drive from Zhangjiajie City to Wulingyuan Scenic Area (when we went there, Provincial Highway 306 was closed for road construction, so we had to take a detour and drove for more than an hour). It takes more than half an hour to drive from Wulingyuan District to the Grand Canyon Glass Bridge Scenic Area (um... this place actually belongs to Cili County). This glass bridge is also very special, but if you are short on time, you can actually skip it.

In fact, this route is difficult to understand for those who have not been there. In short, the glass bridge route is a one-way route. Once you get on the glass bridge, you have to go back the same way. The whole route takes about 3 hours. Luggage is stored in the visitor lobby before the glass bridge. When you want to retrieve your luggage, you need to go back from the end of the route to the starting point of the glass bridge, which is very troublesome (so I said this route is simply confusing for those who have not been there...).

There are also many luggage restrictions on the glass bridge. Heavy items such as SLRs and water bottles are not allowed, so we did not bring our SLRs when we went to the Grand Canyon Glass Bridge.

It is enough to bring your mobile phone to take pictures, because the landscape here is not special, only the glass bridge is magnificent.

By the way, if you go during the off-season, you don’t have to queue at all.

There is a glass bridge when you enter the Grand Canyon, so you are not allowed to bring cameras, umbrellas, water cups, etc. into the scenic area. You can only take pictures with your mobile phone. There are not many people on weekdays, but on holidays, you really have to queue for two hours and visit for five minutes.

Because I have been to the Tiankeng Difeng in Wulong, Chongqing, I didn't feel that it was a bright spot. It was very ordinary. I personally don't think it is necessary to buy tickets to the Grand Canyon.

The group meal was not tasty (maybe it was due to personal taste). I had diarrhea that day and the money for the refunded order had not been received at night, so I couldn't give it to him. 1. The Grand Canyon scenic area tickets are divided into three tour routes: A, B, and C. The main sales routes are B and C.

Line B ticket: package ticket, including Grand Canyon scenic area, cruise ship, glass bridge, scenic area accident insurance, the playing time is about 3-5 hours;

Line C ticket: Single glass bridge ticket, including glass bridge ticket and insurance only, excluding Grand Canyon scenic area ticket, the tour time is about 30 minutes; Detailed entry time: 15:40 to 18:00. Scenic area business opening hours: 07:30-18:00.

The Grand Canyon on-site ticket window does not sell adult tickets. All tourists entering the scenic area must make an online reservation. The glass bridge and Grand Canyon package tickets must be purchased online one day in advance.

Tickets for the glass bridge alone must be purchased 3-4 days in advance, otherwise they will not be available. Tickets for the glass bridge alone are only available at 3 pm. Please note:

1) No cameras or snacks are allowed into the glass bridge, but water is allowed.

2) The distance from the scenic area parking lot to the scenic area entrance is 6.5 kilometers. Private cars are not allowed to enter. You must take the scenic area bus or a local's private car to enter.

3) After coming down from the glass sky bridge, it takes nearly 2 hours to walk along the plank road to reach the boat boarding area and the exit of the scenic area.

4) Don’t go in the afternoon. It will be 5 o’clock when you line up to get in. The sun has set, the light is dim, the glass is reflective, and there are shadows everywhere, so the photo effect is poor.

5) After walking across the glass bridge, be sure to take your luggage with you before going to the Grand Canyon. Otherwise, you will have to take a free bus up the mountain to get your backpack, which is very time-consuming!

2. Only when you step on the glass bridge can you truly understand that seeing is worse than hearing! Maybe I over-studied my brain before the trip and was not stimulated at all. People around me seemed to be quite calm. The reason is: the middle of the bridge is transparent.

I have to comment on this scenic spot. Why do I say that? Because I personally think that except for the glass suspension bridge, none of them are worth it. My "not worth it" means that it is not worth your time cost. Immediately after the entrance of the scenic spot is the suspension bridge, which is very good. Then you go out from the other side of the suspension bridge, and then gradually go down to the bottom of the canyon. You walk along the cliff + 1 elevator, and then walk along the bottom of the canyon to the exit of the scenic spot. It takes about 2.5-3 hours from leaving the suspension bridge to the exit, but the scenery at the bottom of the canyon after leaving the suspension bridge is really very ordinary, not as good as the scenery of many canyons at home and abroad. The road is slippery and dangerous, and the infrastructure construction is not perfect, but the physical consumption of this 3-hour walk is still very large, so I think it is not worth spending this time cost at all. Since I am commenting on this scenic spot here, I give you a conscientious suggestion: go to the scenic spot in the morning, play on the glass suspension bridge from the entrance, enjoy the magnificent scenery of the Grand Canyon from the top, and then return to the entrance by the original route. It may be more convenient for people who travel independently. If you follow a group, you can't do this and can only walk all the attractions. Have lunch at noon, and then continue your visit to another attraction in the afternoon. You can choose Huanglong Cave or Baofeng Lake. If you have visited both, you can also choose to go back to Tusi City (a World Cultural Heritage) in Zhangjiajie city.

The service facilities inside are also very poor. The toilet does not flush and there is no staff to be seen. The slide is also a gathering place for tourist groups. It is very messy, there are too many people, the air is bad, and many people are smoking. I am really impressed!



Not only is the service bad, the scenery inside is also extremely ordinary, especially after visiting Zhangjiajie Forest Park, it is basically unbearable to see here, and there is construction everywhere inside, all kinds of dust and gravel, and many marked waterfalls have been made dry. Can you not open the door for business if you can't repair it? ! If you can't provide service, don't accept so many tour groups, okay? !



In short, this is the worst place I experienced in Zhangjiajie. I just wanted to curse all the way down. If you are traveling by yourself, you must not come here! Anyone who comes here will be as stupid as me!



There is a direct bus from Wulingyuan Bus Station. There is a bus back home, but it runs every half an hour. When I got out, I saw the bus driver but couldn't find him. The round-trip ticket price is very random. It costs 15 yuan per person to come and only 8 yuan to go back.

This is really a canyon. You have to walk down the stairs from the top, and the stairs are in the gap between the mountains.

I was so impressed by the various scenic spots in Zhangjiajie that I went to the Grand Canyon as well.

It takes 1 hour to drive from our hotel to there. You can take the bus (7~10 yuan/person) or call a taxi. You can negotiate the price with the taxi driver in advance. The final price agreed upon for the outbound trip was 30 yuan, but the driver went to buy the tickets (to get kickbacks). The driver's meter showed that the trip was nearly 160 yuan; the adult price of the Grand Canyon ticket was 118 yuan, and there was an additional discount for the elderly, plus the slide fee of 25 yuan per person, the final total was 333; the reason why the driver was willing to take us for 30 yuan was that the kickback was a major driving force. It was estimated that it was at least 100 yuan. There was a bus out of the scenic area on the way back, 7 yuan per person. I don't know if it was because of the late development or something else, the day we went was sunny, but there were few tourists. First, the sky was downhill all the way, the scenery was rare, but the steps were very steep, and it was a test for the calf muscles. The last section of the route into the Grand Canyon consists of about 600 meters of slides (slides), which is relatively easy. When we got to the bottom of the canyon, a long section of plank road was built along the mountain stream until we took a boat out of the pier. The scenery is magnificent and spectacular, not inferior to Wulingyuan.

The Grand Canyon is more suitable for young people. It has some thrilling roads such as the One Line Sky and the Plank Road. Overall, it is quite fun. Anyway, my boyfriend said he likes the Grand Canyon the most.
