Ten-mile Gallery is located in Suoxiyu Scenic Area. It is one of the highlights of Suoxiyu Scenic Area. It has rich natural landscapes and people walking in it feel like they are in a painting.
The 5-kilometer-long valley is full of strange peaks and rocks. Traveling through it is like walking into a natural landscape painting.
The rocks around the gallery form many peculiar anthropomorphic shapes, among which "the God of Longevity Welcoming Guests" and "the Old Man Collecting Herbs" are the most famous.

Zhangjiajie is a belief, an obsession that appears in elementary school textbooks. Zhangjiajie Ten-mile Gallery Scenic Area, located in Suoxiyu Scenic Area, is the tourist highlight of the scenic area. On both sides of this valley that is more than ten miles long, there are rich natural landscapes, and people walking in it feel like they are in a painting. There are dark peaks beside the ditch, and the rocks on the mountains have formed more than 200 stone landscape shapes that resemble people, objects, birds, and animals. Among them, "Peacock Spreading Tail", "Old Man Collecting Herbs", "Star of Longevity Welcoming Guests", "Tiger Roaring to the Sky" and so on are the most famous.
The Ten-Li Picture Gallery is about 5 kilometers long. There are lush forests and strange peaks on both sides of the canyon, like a huge landscape painting hanging on the cliff. There are famous attractions such as Monkey King Whistle, Old Man Collecting Herbs, Couple Holding Child, Xiang Wang Reading Books, and Three Sisters Peak.
At the end of the Ten-Li Gallery is the hiking trail leading to Tianzi Mountain. We came down from Tianzi Mountain along this road in 2014. There are about five kilometers of mountain roads in total, and they are five ups and five downs. Tourists with average physical strength should not try it lightly.
The Shilihualang scenic area is not big, about 2.5 kilometers. There is a small train to take, or you can walk in and enjoy the scenery while walking. Relatively speaking, this scenic area is very relaxing. There are snacks at the end of the scenic area, and from here you can climb the mountain to the Tianzi Mountain Scenic Area.
It takes about half an hour to walk through the Shili Gallery one way. If you don't want to walk, you can take a sightseeing bus. I personally think it's unnecessary to take a sightseeing bus. The ticket price for a one-way sightseeing bus is 38, and a round-trip ticket is 52.
Many people who come to Shili Gallery take the train to go in and then walk out. At that time, we saw a lot of people queuing, so we went in first and then took the train back.
But I suggest you take the train in and out. It's uphill in and downhill out, so it won't be too tiring.
There aren't that many monkeys here, but there are a lot at the Golden Whip Stream. There aren't many monkeys in the monkey park either, but many of them have climbed up the trees. The monkeys will pull you, so you can't get close to take pictures.
Young people actually don’t feel tired walking back, but we don’t want the elderly to be too tired, so we try all the browsing methods.
If the weather is good, it is recommended that you spend a day visiting Tianzi Mountain, Yuanjiajie and Shilihualang.
In general, Zhangjiajie Forest Park is about looking at the mountain from the bottom of the mountain and looking at the surroundings from the mountain. The Ten-mile Gallery is at the bottom of the mountain. You can see the shape of the mountain and take whatever you think it looks like. If you have enough time, it is best to take a small train to go in, listen carefully to the introduction, and then walk out slowly. You may discover new landscapes along the way.
The Ten-Li Gallery is located in the Donggou Grand Canyon of Longtan, Nanhe, Gucheng. It starts from Longtan Village in the north and ends at Wanxing Village in the south, with a total length of 28 li. The canyon is winding, sometimes wide and sometimes narrow, but the valley is flat. The deep valley stretches forward like a tempting gallery. The Donggou Grand Canyon has steep mountains, deep canyons, protruding peaks and rocks, and beautiful forests and bamboos. There are folk houses from the Ming and Qing dynasties, stone tombstones, stone caves, ancient mountain villages, Wulongshan Tianchi Palace, and Yunxiao Cave. The Ten-Li Gallery can be said to have scenery at every step and is picturesque everywhere.
The Ten-Li Picture Gallery is a narrow canyon in the northwest of Suoxi Valley, which is ten miles long. Walking through the canyon, you can see the mountains on both sides with rugged rocks of various shapes, as if you are traveling in a painting.
Take a car in and walk out. The train has scenic spot explanations. The scenery is good. Worth a visit.
The Ten-Li Picture Gallery is a place where you can admire the mountains of various shapes by walking along the trail at the foot of the mountain or taking a small train. It can be visited together with the Tianzi Mountain Scenic Area.
The strange mountains and rocks here are very unique and well worth a visit.
There are sightseeing buses here, but it is strongly recommended to walk. The herbalist and the Three Sisters Peak can be seen on the road.
No matter what you say, you can only know if you experience it yourself.
Shili Gallery, you can take a small train or walk, it's not far
This place is really interesting. After two days of climbing Zhangjiajie's Kakajiao, there are three places that left a deep impression on me, and this place must have a place. The small train slowly goes in and it is very romantic, and there are also many strange-shaped mountains! Highly recommended!
Visit the Ten-mile Gallery Scenic Area (Old Man Collecting Herbs, Three Sisters Peak, Conch Peak, Longevity Star Welcoming Guests, etc.
After visiting the Ten-Li Gallery, I finally understood why it is called the Ten-Li Gallery. Here, any photo you take with your camera will be a beautiful landscape painting. It is also one of the scenic spots in Journey to the West. I personally recommend that you don’t need to take the train, because you can only take in the scenery along the Ten-Li Gallery. Among the stone wonders, I think the herbalist is the most classic. You should use your imagination and watch carefully along the way, and you will find many strange postures.
The Shili Gallery is not ten miles long, you can take a sightseeing train. The scenic area is only 2.5 kilometers long, from the Three Sisters Peak to the entrance of the Shili Gallery.
The Zhangjiajie Ten-Li Gallery Scenic Area is located in the Suoxiyu Scenic Area and is the tourist highlight of the scenic area. On both sides of this valley, which is more than ten miles long, there are rich natural landscapes, and people walking through it feel like they are in a painting.
You have to go! If it rains a little when you go to Shili Gallery, you are very lucky! There are two different views whether it rains or not!
Walk along the Ten-mile Gallery and see the strange peaks and rocks on the side. You can take a small train to visit. There is a stream beside it, and many people play in the water there. It is cool, cozy and comfortable.
When you come here, you must admire the wonders of nature. But don't take the train, because it's not far away. And if you plan to hike down from Tianzi Mountain the next day, you don't need to go to Shilihualang first, because Shilihualang is on the way down from Tianzi Mountain.
As the name suggests, Shili Gallery is a gallery with mountains as the background. It depends on the guide's explanation and our imagination. I personally feel that there is nothing to see. We chose to walk in and take the train out. The ticket price is 38 at our own expense.
The Ten-mile Gallery is very beautiful. It takes about half an hour to walk there. It is not tiring and very pleasing to the eyes. The only drawback is that there are too many people.
Taking a small train to see the Ten-Li Picture Gallery not only saves energy but also allows you to enjoy the scenery and take photos.
We took an eco-friendly car to Shilihualang, a 5.8km canyon trail where you can take a small train for sightseeing or hike to see the scenery. On the left, there are endless peaks. Let your imagination run wild. Each peak has its own image. On the right, a naughty monkey is sitting on the treetop, watching us watching the beautiful scenery. The scenery of the mountains and rocks, each with its own role, is like an extended painting.
PS: Shilihualang is the filming location of "Monster Hunt"
In 2010, I joined the Green Team's Zhangjiajie Phoenix Route. Although the scenery of the Ten-Li Gallery is not as good as some other places, it is still pretty good.
The Ten-mile Gallery is located in the Suoxiyu Scenic Area and is one of the highlights of the Suoxiyu Scenic Area. The 5-kilometer-long valley is full of strange peaks and rocks from a distance. Visitors walking through it are like walking into a natural landscape painting, completely intoxicated by the pure natural beauty. The rocks around the gallery have formed many stone landscape shapes that resemble people, objects, birds, and animals. Among them, "The God of Longevity Welcoming Guests", "The Old Man Collecting Herbs", "Reading Books to the King", and "Conch Peak" are the most famous.
It seems that many scenic spots have Ten-Li Gallery. I feel that the Ten-Li Gallery in Zhangjiajie is much more beautiful than the Ten-Li Gallery in Yangshuo. Monster Hunt was also filmed here, but the most famous Three Sisters Peak in the Ten-Li Gallery was hidden by fog and could not be seen.
After entering the scenic area, take a free eco-friendly bus to get off at Shilihualang, take a small train to enter (it would be really expensive if it wasn't half price), and then walk out. It took about half an hour to walk out. The scenery was good, but not amazing. There were a lot of monkeys at the end of the small train, all begging for peanuts on the roadside, which was very cute.
There are ten main attractions along the way when you enter the Ten-Li Gallery, including the Rotating Attic, the Birthday Star Welcoming Guests, the Old Man Collecting Herbs, and the Two-Sided Clock. You can choose to walk or take a small train to visit.
After entering Wulingyuan Scenic Area, the first place you arrive at is the Ten-Li Gallery. It is not as far as you might think, just 5 kilometers one way. It is recommended to walk there. On both sides of the valley, there are lush trees and dark peaks, forming strange shapes that look like humans and animals. You can give full play to your imagination. Of course, the most classic and most similar ones are "Peacock Spreading its Tail", "Old Man Collecting Herbs", and "Three Women Peak".
The scenic spot is not big, and the round trip hike takes only an hour, but the scenery is good and worth going.
. . . To be honest, if you don't have a lot of time, you don't have to go here. If it's foggy, it might be beautiful. When it's not foggy, it's hot and monotonous. In the summer, take a train when you go up there. Don't hesitate or you'll sweat a lot. Just walk down. The finger painting gallery above is pretty good. I recommend it. I stayed in it for a long time.
The air in the Ten-Li Gallery is fresh in the early morning. As you walk slowly inward and upward along the path, you can hear the tour guide of the next group introducing what a stone in the distance looks like and what another stone looks like. I think the slogan of the scenic spot should be changed to "Zhangjiajie, open your imagination."
There are many wild monkeys in the jungle, and they are not afraid of people at all. If you carry a bag of snacks in your hand, the monkeys will snatch it away! So it is best to put the food you bring in your bag.
There is a small train to pick up passengers at the Ten-Li Gallery. The map shows that the journey is not far and the road is flat, so I walked all the way. It didn’t take long to reach the end, which is only about 2 kilometers. The signboard said 5.8 kilometers, but it is actually not ten miles.
There is an attraction worth visiting at the foot of the mountain, but the road is quite narrow and only two people can walk side by side.
I still recommend taking a one-way train ride, which has explanations for each attraction. We walked and saw everything by ourselves on the way there, and didn't understand anything. We only understood it after listening to the explanations on the train on the way back.
It is the filming location of Monster Hunt, but it is far inferior to the Shili Gallery in Lishui, Zhejiang!
There is only one lane going back and forth, which is quite crowded when there are many people. There is a small train next to it to save energy and time. The one-way trip is 38
I took the rail car to enter and exit the Ten-Li Gallery. Although it was fast, the scenery was indeed very beautiful. The mountains formed a series of paintings. The one that impressed me most was the Three Sisters Mountain, which was very magnificent!
Shilihualang is also in Wulingyuan, just like Yuanjiajie and Yangjiajie. Yuanjiajie and Yangjiajie are on the mountain, while Jinbianxi and Shilihualang are at the foot of the mountain. You can still enter from the landmark gate and take the scenic bus to get off at Shilihualang. Shilihualang is a five-kilometer-long valley with many peaks on the side. Imagine the peaks as various people and objects. You can walk or take a small train for the ten-kilometer round trip. The peaks in Shilihualang are all backlit, so it is a bit difficult to take pictures. The Three Sisters Peaks at the end are well lit.
After walking for a while, you can take a small train to and from the mountain. There are various mountains on both sides and the Three Sisters Peak at the end. You can see the mountains there.
The Shili Gallery seems to be about six kilometers round trip. We walked there, and there were a lot of people on the road, and some people were taking pictures, so we didn't move fast. In order to save time, we took the train back. To be honest, I think if you have good physical strength, you don't need to take the train. Then the main content of the tour is to see the mountains on both sides. Due to time constraints, we walked to the end without staying for long, and did not take a closer look, because the fog was heavy and it was not very clear.
Take the train to the scenic area and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Ten-Li Gallery. It is called a gallery, and it is indeed worthy of its name. It is like traveling in a painting. The mountains are of different shapes, such as the old man collecting herbs and the Three Sisters Peak. You can experience it yourself. In fact, the Ten-Li Gallery is less than 3 kilometers in visual observation, and 2 hours is enough to visit it. It is recommended to take the train one way and walk out. Then return the same way (it is said that the eco-friendly car runs until 8 pm)
Entering the scenic area in the late afternoon can avoid the pain of queuing, but it must suit your schedule.
The Ten-Li Gallery is the closest attraction to the landmark gate. You can spend the afternoon of the first day to visit it. At the end of the Ten-Li Gallery, you will reach the road up the mountain.
You can take a small train or walk to the Ten-Li Gallery. Walking in the middle of the forest, the negative oxygen ions are very high and it is very comfortable. It is called the Ten-Li Gallery, but it is not ten miles long. Just take a relaxing walk.
The scenery in Shilihualang is just average, but the air is good and you can see the surrounding mountains.
This may be the worst place in the whole scenic area. Almost all scenic areas have similar places. Standing at the foot of the mountain and looking at the peak, you can imagine all kinds of images. If you don't want to take the train, just skip it.
The Ten-Li Gallery is not ten miles long. You can take a small train to the end, or you can walk. We definitely walked to save money. After all, the road is easy to walk. It takes about half an hour. I don’t recommend the small train. There are not many scenery. It’s good to stop and breathe fresh air.
There is a difference between Shilihualang and Jinbianxi. The canyon here is wider, and the mountains on both sides (mainly on the west side) do not have the cramped and oppressive feeling of Jinbianxi, and the distribution is also more sparse.
Tips: The Ten-Li Gallery is very easy to visit, and it only takes more than an hour to hike back and forth. It is even easier if you take a one-way train. It is recommended to walk in and take the train out.
When I was reading the travel guide, I heard that it was a very outstanding attraction in the scenic area and one of the highlights of Zhangjiajie.
Just hearing the name "Shilihualang" can make you feel the artistic atmosphere, and only when you are there can you understand that there is such a paradise on earth. Shilihualang is actually a deep canyon at the foot of Tianzi Mountain. There are wild flowers in the valley all year round, and the undulating mountains are scattered in an orderly manner. From a distance, it looks like a landscape painting stretching for dozens of miles, so it is called "Shilihualang".
Looking up at the mountains of various shapes, I can't help but sigh at the wonders of nature. "Looking from the side, you see a mountain, and from the front, you see a peak." Looking from the side, it looks like a giant dragon with a solemn expression. The trees standing behind the mountain are like winding dragon whiskers, which are vivid and lifelike.
The Ten-Li Gallery stretches for dozens of miles. The sightseeing train that shuttles along the mountain stream allows you to be in the dense jungle, personally unveil the mysterious veil of nature, and enjoy the canyon scenery of the Ten-Li Gallery with endless fresh breeze.
The first stop of the trip to Zhangjiajie, it takes about an hour to walk. The trail is paved with wooden boards and there is no slope, so it is very easy to walk. The scenery on both sides is very pleasant, which can be regarded as an appetizer.
The Ten-mile Gallery at the foot of the mountain strongly recommends not taking the train, it is really beautiful! The entire wooden plank road is full of greenery, birdsong and flowers, and it is absolutely like traveling in a painting.
You need to walk back and forth to the Ten-mile Gallery. You can walk or take a small train. Anyway, I was too tired to do it, so I chose to take the small train. The student ticket for the small train is 38 ¥ for a round trip.
To be honest, I wasn’t very surprised by the Shili Gallery. It was quite boring and I personally don’t recommend it.
You must rent a bicycle to go to Shilihualang. You must rent a bicycle to go to Shilihualang. You must rent a bicycle to go to Shilihualang. It is important to say it three times! There is a special bicycle lane inside. Walking doesn't feel like that and it will be very tiring. The main attractions in Yangshuo are concentrated in Shilihualang. However, each attraction inside is charged, which feels very rip-off. Then we just drove all the way. The scenery is really good and beautiful, especially suitable for taking pictures. Then we met an old couple in the car. I felt very loving and followed them all the way.
The end point of the Shilihualang train is where you can choose to walk to the starting point or take the train to the starting point.
You can walk along the railway tracks of Shili Hualang to the entrance parking lot of Shili Hualang, and then take a bus back to the main entrance of Wulingyuan Scenic Area.
Located in the northwest of Suoxiyu Scenic Area, there are rich natural landscapes on both sides of the canyon, and people walking in it feel like they are in a painting. We took an environmentally friendly car to arrive at the Ten-mile Gallery. We chose to walk in, which took about half an hour, and then took a small train out. The full price of the ticket is 38 yuan, and the student price is 24 yuan.
The introduction at the entrance said it was about 5.5 kilometers, but it was 10 kilometers round trip! No wonder it was called the Ten-Li Gallery. I was really surprised. We knew our walking speed and thought it would take us at least 2.5 hours to finish the round trip. It was already 3:30 in the afternoon and we wanted to go home and rest. Hesitantly, we moved forward. As a result, victory came too suddenly. In less than 40 minutes, we reached the end. I felt cheated by the introduction. It was only 3 kilometers at most. Fortunately, I didn't choose to take the small train at the entrance, otherwise I would have lost 38 yuan. I was not interested in going to the Monkey Park. If you want to save the cable car fee, you can climb the mountain from here. But it is said to take 3 hours.
We arrived at the Ten-mile Gallery at the foot of the mountain. The scenery is beautiful, but there are endless tourists.
You can choose to take the small train with a discount ticket (¥19), or you can walk to see the scenery. The route is the same~
The advantage of taking the train is that there is a broadcast in the carriage that introduces each scenic spot along the way, including "Three Sisters Peak", "Old Man Picking Herbs", "Index Finger Peak", "Family of Three", etc. If you don't listen to the explanation, you may really not understand it.
I really like this kind of large scenic spot where you can play as much as you want with one ticket. It's great
It's not very tiring, the air is fresh, the tour guide patiently explains the shape of the mountain, you definitely can't see it if you look at it yourself, you really don't need to take the train unless you are in a hurry, but the road for pedestrians is too narrow
Enter with your ticket and fingerprint, take the scenic area shuttle bus, you can take a small train to visit the Ten-Li Gallery, or walk along the walking path next to the track; how long is "Ten Li"? 1 Li = 0.5 km, Ten Li = 5 km, and the round trip of the Ten-Li Gallery is 5 kilometers, and the one-way trip is only 2.5 kilometers; you have to walk the whole way, walk the normal road when entering, and take a section of the outdoor road when leaving, which is a different view~
The scenery of the Ten-Li Gallery is beautiful, but it is only when you go down the mountain to see the scenery. There is no more breathtaking momentum on the mountain. It is said to be ten miles, but it actually feels like three or four miles. The plank road is flat all the way. I walked with my children and saw the scenery. I walked to the end in 40 minutes. It is a must-see attraction for tourist groups. The plank road is relatively narrow. Fortunately, we came in the evening. If people were lined up to walk, it would not feel like a tour. The end of the Ten-Li Gallery is the Three Sisters Peak
Tickets: Train ¥38, students ¥24.
Reference time: 7 minutes
It is recommended to take a small train to the Shili Gallery. There are explanations on the train, which is easier to imagine. Although I always don't know where the scenic spots it talks about are, after all, the train is still a bit fast and it is easy to miss them. And there is a pedestrian plank road on the left. If you see pedestrians walking by, you may even take pictures of a large crowd.
It's a mediocre hike, but you can see the mountains along the way.
When approaching the Ten-mile Gallery
Monkeys began to appear in greater numbers
These happy little guys
Chasing, fighting, looking for food, or just being in a daze
They will also wait for passers-by to get food.
It's simply become a masterpiece
The scenery is endless when people walk in the painting! It is best to walk.
The so-called "ten li" is a plank road 5.8 li long, 10 li round trip, hahaha! Along the way, you can see the "herb-collecting old man", one of the ten great views of Zhangjiajie. Ah, it really looks like wow! If you don't want to walk, you can take a sightseeing train, which costs more than 70 yuan round trip, which is not cost-effective.
Be sure not to go on a rainy day, otherwise you can only see fog and mountains, and a road
Our family walked through the Ten-mile Gallery. The management here is much better than that in Guilin. Just enjoy it quietly.
We took the train back and forth, and the explanations were quite nice, but I just couldn't complain about the thousand-year-old giant salamander, which lay motionless in the fish tank.
There are small trains at the scenic spots at the foot of the mountain in Zhangjiajie Scenic Area. Because it is uphill to enter, and there is an introduction to the scenery along the way on the train, it is recommended to take the train in, then walk out and take a look slowly. When entering, sit on the left side of the train. The scenic spots are basically on the left side. It is similar to the "Ten-mile Gallery" everywhere. You can enjoy the strange peaks and rocks of various shapes and appreciate the wonders of nature. It was a rainy day when I went there. There was some fog. Some peaks were hidden in the fog and could not be seen. But there were still cute monkeys begging for food.
The Ten-Li Gallery is a long and narrow canyon with a wooden plank road for walking into. You can also take a small train to get there. There is an introduction to the corresponding attractions on the train.
There are small trains going back and forth between the two sides, which is very convenient, and the scenery is also beautiful!
There is a small train!!! It is strongly recommended to take the small train (only 10 minutes), you can listen to the explanations and stories, and it is not tiring, but it is too cold in winter (open).
The points in the explanation can be clearly seen. The Ten-Li Gallery is not long and it takes only about an hour to walk back and forth, but it's not very interesting.
The Ten-mile Gallery is located in the Suoxiyu Scenic Area and is the tourist highlight of the scenic area. On both sides of this valley that is more than ten miles long, there are rich natural landscapes, and people walking in it feel like they are in a painting. There are dark peaks beside the ditch, and the rocks on the mountain have formed more than 200 stone landscapes that look like people, objects, birds, and animals. Among them, "Peacock Spreading Tail", "Old Man Collecting Herbs", "Longevity Star Welcoming Guests", "Tiger Roaring to the Sky" and so on are the most famous. The canyon is winding and sometimes wide and sometimes narrow, but the valley is flat. The deep valley stretches forward like a tempting gallery. It can be said that there are views at every step and everywhere is like a painting. There are only a few pieces for appreciation.
In the Ming Dynasty, someone wrote down such beautiful words as “Traveling in the mountain gorge is like being in a painting.” The scenery is indeed picturesque.
The Ten-mile Gallery is located in the Suoxiyu Scenic Area and is one of the highlights of the Suoxiyu Scenic Area. Wild flowers and trees are everywhere on both sides of the 5-kilometer-long valley, and in the distance, there are strange peaks and rocks. Visitors walking through it are like walking into a natural landscape painting, completely intoxicated by the pure natural beauty.
After getting off the scenic area bus, walk back to the entrance of the Ten-Li Gallery. If you don’t take the train, take the trail on the left. The train is very simple, like the children’s train in parks or playgrounds in the 1990s.
People walking along the path feel like they are in a painting. The valley is surrounded by dark peaks, and the rocks on the mountain form more than 200 stone landscapes that resemble people, objects, birds, and animals. Among them, the most famous ones are "Peacock Spreading Its Tail", "Old Man Gathering Herbs", "God of Longevity Welcoming Guests", and "Tiger Roaring to the Sky". The pedestrian path is very narrow, and only two people can pass side by side. If you catch up with the peak season, it will cause a lot of congestion.
The end of the trail is also the terminus of the train. The entire walking distance is less than 2 kilometers. It is up to you to decide whether to take the train.
Only a part of the Ten-Li Gallery has been developed. On the left is the Monkey Park, and on the right is the mountain road leading to Tianzi Mountain. If you don’t take the cable car, you can choose to walk up and down.
