Arxan Railway Station

The Aershan Railway Station was built in 1937. It is a Japanese-style building with two floors made of bricks, wood, granite and steel bars. The outer wall of the first floor is surrounded by random stone walls made of granite, and the roof is covered with ochre cement. This may be the most beautiful of the small railway stations in China. It is a bit like a small station in Switzerland. Watching the sunset from the station at dusk is very impressive. Today, the entire railway station is well preserved and still in use. It is not only ornamental but also has certain historical value.

Arxan Railway Station is a two-story yellow building

The architectural style combines European elegance with Japanese sophistication

This railway station was built in 1937

After nearly a hundred years of wind and rain, it still stands firm

The train station is quite crowded during the day. This train station is known as "the most beautiful train station in China" for its unique charm.

Attracting the attention of countless tourists and photographers

If you want to check in at a train station with no one there, you must get up early.

This is the train station at 6am

A railway station building designed and built by the Japanese during the puppet Manchukuo period still retains its original appearance. It looks very small now, but it is still in use. There are green trains from Shenyang that can come here.

By Fomalhaut |

It is a very beautiful building. Before you sigh, you must first ignore the fact that the builder was the invaders. The appearance has not changed for more than 80 years. The windows are all original. The yellow main paint and the green window frames make the first person who sees the station bright. The granite base makes this two-story building look very solid. This station has a strong oriental exotic style and is also one of the best stations built by the Japanese in the north at that time.

Arxan Railway Station is a very inconspicuous railway station, and its scale is also very small. It is only because of the characteristics of the building that people pay more attention to it. Of course, as an old-fashioned building and old-fashioned train, it may be more attractive to people born after 2000. After all, they don’t seem to see many coal-burning locomotives emitting black smoke. It is also worth going to appreciate it. After all, there is really no scenery in the urban area of Arxan. It is just that this railway station is still a bit special.

By Zheng Tai YY |

In addition to Arxan, this station is also a must-visit in Arxan City, right? It has a European town feel and the surroundings are very comfortable. You can go and have a look.

By Snowball Dance |

Arxan is located on the border between China and Mongolia. It is a small town with a population of less than 10,000 people, so transportation is not very convenient. It has its own railway station (known as one of the top ten most beautiful railway stations in China) and is the landmark building of Arxan.

By GAGA |

Because of Dear Inn, Arxan was still popular for a while. Arxan Railway Station, located in Arxan City, is a must-visit place for tourists who come here. Built in 1937, it is a two-story Japanese-style building with low eaves and pointed roof. The outer wall of the first floor is surrounded by random stone walls made of granite, and the roof is covered with ochre cement. At present, this antique is still in use, and trains depart and arrive here every day.

The Arxan Railway Station was built in 1937 when the Japanese Kwantung Army was stationed there. It has the architectural feel of a Japanese hot spring town. It is well preserved and is known as "the smallest and most beautiful railway station in China"! This is inside the railway station. Remember to take more photos inside, as the outside is not that beautiful~

🚄It's beautiful, needless to say. It's also really small. There's no ticket machine. It's about the size of a classroom, and there's only one manual window.

Arshan is really beautiful.

Not only is the natural scenery beautiful, but even the city of Arxan is very beautiful and distinctive.

Arshan Railway Station, known as the smallest and most beautiful railway station in the country, was built in 1937. It has been more than 80 years and is still in use.

The old-fashioned wooden windows tell of the past history and vicissitudes.

Several trains stopped on the platform. Among the flowers and grass, one could feel the changes in the world and the whispers of the breeze.

There are also Mongolian signs at the station.

The house next to the station is also very historical.

The flowers on the roadside that I can’t name are very big and beautiful.

Arriving at Arshan Railway Station, this is also a place to check in and take photos, but unfortunately the exterior is under renovation and its appearance is greatly reduced!

By Vegetables in Vegetables |

The train station is not as beautiful as described on the Internet. The surrounding area is messy and I am quite disappointed. It would be better if I could go inside the station.

By Gu Nian Blue and White Porcelain Cardo |

You can’t enter the station without a ticket, so many popular photos cannot be taken.

By King of Amy |

It’s called “the most beautiful railway station in China”, which seems a bit exaggerated, but it’s indeed unfortunate that the exterior wall is undergoing maintenance.

Treasure the unique memories of this small town

After lunch, we set off for Arshan Railway Station, which should be the check-in spot when coming to Arshan. When we arrived, it was almost 4 o'clock in the afternoon. There were a constant stream of people at the railway station, so there were no clean check-in photos of the railway station. The architecture of the entire railway station is still very beautiful. We took a family photo amid the crowds.

During the Japanese occupation period, the railway station where the Japanese transported wood could also transport people! It has the charm of that era!

By Fortune Forest_Naomi |

The most beautiful train station in the country is said to feel like a small Swiss town.

By Distant Mountains |

The Arxan Railway Station was built in 1935 and put into use in 1937. It was built during the period when the Japanese Kwantung Army was stationed here. Although it has been almost a century, it is still well preserved and in use, and passengers still get on and off here every day. Its architecture is mainly in Oriental style. When we went there, it was under repair, and some buildings were covered with scaffolding and fences. It is said that some buildings were demolished before the first anniversary of the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, which was a case of malicious destruction of cultural relics.

By Look around |

Arxan Railway Station is very modern and brings back people's memories of their teenage years.

The most beautiful train station is well-known, and it happened to be during the National Day holiday, so many people came here. You can enter the waiting room, but you are not allowed to enter the platform without a ticket.

Arshan Station was built in 1937 and is a product of the Japanese Kwantung Army's stationing period. It is an oriental-style two-story Japanese building with low eaves and pointed roofs. The outer wall of the first floor is a randomly inserted stone wall made of rough granite, and the roof is covered with ochre cement. It is an oriental-style two-story Japanese building with low eaves and pointed roofs. On one side of it, there is still a semicircular pointed-roof bunker, which looks like a "grain storage" in the countryside from a distance. The gun holes at that time have been blocked with cement. Today, the entire railway station is well preserved and still in use. It is a key cultural relic in Inner Mongolia. This may be the most beautiful of China's small railway stations, a bit like a small station in Switzerland. Watching the sunset on the station at dusk is very impressive.

This is one of the most beautiful train stations in the country. It is so small that there is no platform. Travelers do not have time to shake hands and say goodbye before they board the departing train. The train starts, stirring up thousands of layers of snow.

I have never seen such a train station in my life, it is very beautiful and retro. The entire train station here has preserved its original atmosphere and is still in use. This may be the most beautiful of China's small train stations, and it looks a bit like an old station. Whenever dusk approaches, standing here and watching the sunset will be very touching.

By Not yet |

The small train station is suitable for taking photos both day and night. Of course, it is still in operation. The waiting room is so small that it is impressive. When I was waiting for the train, a girl actually asked me, "Are you waiting for the train?" I thought this was a museum, but it turns out it is still in operation...

By Buy Buy Su |

It is indeed very stylish and small, a great place to check in. However, many train stations in Heilongjiang are very beautiful, so this one doesn't stand out so much.

By beau-travel |

The famous Arxan Station in the tourism industry is known as the smallest and most beautiful railway station in China. Although this oriental-style Japanese railway station is small, its appearance is retro and elegant, and it is very nostalgic. It is definitely the best background for taking pictures. The railway station is equipped with the old-style platform and station shed, which is exactly the farewell scene of the station in the 1920s and 1930s. I think that sooner or later, film and television dramas will come in groups, or they have already been filmed, and I am ignorant. This station is the terminus of the Bai'a Railway, which was built during the occupation of Northeast China by the Japanese Kwantung Army. I have to say that their aesthetics are really high. This small railway station in a small mountainous area can also be built so beautifully. Putting aside national emotions, this nation once again makes me admire it.

Arxan Railway Station is probably the most beautiful small station in the country.

There are only a few trains to Shenyang and Harbin every day.

The ticketing area, ticket gate, and waiting area are all designed in the style of that time.

The granite-built exterior wall is really eye-catching.

A small historic train station, right in the city for a stroll

By Kent Ye |

I believe that everyone who knows something about Arxan has heard of this railway station. This railway station was built in 1937. It is an oriental Japanese-style building. It was built by Japan at that time to strengthen its colonial rule and plunder the resources of the Greater Khingan Range. Today, it has become a key cultural relic in Inner Mongolia and a must-see attraction for Arxan tourism.

As for the interior of the train station, the space is very small, and of course you can only enter the platform if you buy a train ticket. So we can only watch from the outside, which can be regarded as a sign to prove that we have been there. This style of train station is really rare in China. Since it is still in normal use today, we decided to take the train next time we come to Arxan in winter.

By Old fish |

Unfortunately, the Arxan Railway Station is under renovation and is not very suitable for taking photos.

I took a photo of a small train waiting to depart in the distance at the fork in the track. As soon as I got to the track crossing, the old man in the duty room rang the alarm to drive me away. I was shy, so I took a photo and ran away in a hurry.

By Pipihan |

This is probably the most beautiful small train station in the country. When we went to see it, the small waiting room was full of people waiting for the train. Although the train station is small, it also has an online ticket machine, which is very cute.

By Mr. Yu |

We walked to the train station, just for the smallest and most beautiful train station in China! Indeed, the style is unique and distinctive. There is only one room with ticket sales, ticket checking, waiting, and ticket machines. It is only 30 square meters and there is no security check. . .

By Wind is clear and clouds are blue |

It is similar to the Lushun Railway Station we went to, except that the Lushun train station has stopped operating. There are still several trains in Arxan every day. The train station is a good place to take pictures, preferably inside the train station, especially during the day.

The smallest railway station in the country. It was built by the puppet Manchukuo and is still used by trains. The Gothic architecture is very beautiful, but it was under repair when we went there, so we didn't see the outside of the railway station.

The most beautiful of China's small train stations is a bit like a small station in Switzerland, very exotic. In such a small train station, you can feel the ancient history, then take the train and head into the distance.

Arxan Railway Station is a must-see attraction when you go to Arxan! Yes, even if you don't take the train, you have to go and see the railway station. In fact, it is not a tourist attraction. It may be because of its unique architectural style that it attracts a large number of tourists to visit, so it has gradually become a tourist attraction. I rode along the road and saw the railway station. Sure enough, there were so many people. Of course, they were not here to take the train. They also came to visit because of its reputation. The special thing about Arxan Railway Station is its architectural style and historical background. It is a Japanese building with a low eaves and a pointed roof in the Oriental style. Although it is still in operation today, it has become one of the key cultural relics. Unfortunately, the railway station was under renovation when we came to visit, so the whole building looked a little worse in terms of overall appearance and beauty. I continued to ride forward and happened to meet the conductor trying the front of the train. It felt so cute. The front of the train came over, so cute!

Arxan Railway Station is worth a visit. It was built by the Japanese invaders when they occupied the city. The Japanese style is nice, but when I went there, the exterior wall was under renovation. It was a pity.

By Mr. Yang |

It is just an ordinary building, which was built when the Japanese army invaded China. It is still in use today. There are old-fashioned trains on this line and tourist trains going to and from Bailang Town. The scenery along the way will not be beautiful until autumn. It is better to drive along the road by yourself, at least you can park.

Arshan Railway Station is a Japanese religious and residential-style building. Japanese buildings like to be painted yellow on their exterior walls. There are still many buildings from the Japanese colonial period preserved in Harbin, which are not unfamiliar to me.

This is the most beautiful small train station in China. It is really very small. After entering the train station, the waiting hall feels like it is from the last century. It has a very nostalgic feel, but it is too small and there are not many places to rest.

It is said to be the most beautiful small train station in the country, comparable to Switzerland. It is an 80-year-old Japanese-style building, an oriental building that combines Japanese religion and folk houses. It is a landmark of Arxan City and also shoulders the mission of carrying passengers.

Arxan Railway Station runs trains to Ulanhot and Baicheng all year round, and additional trains to Hailar, Shenyang and Changchun will be added during the peak season.

The railway station has a locomotive that is the same as the one in the Xing'an League service area of Arxan Forest Park. It is a cultural relic of Inner Mongolia. You can find it by heading north about 1,000 meters from the railway station.

By traveler |

After arriving at the Arxan Railway Station, I felt extremely disappointed. First of all, this railway station is surprisingly small, and the waiting hall is only about ten square meters (I am not exaggerating here), because it is said that there are passengers only in the summer, and there are few people in the winter (it is so cold there in winter, I guess there are no people), and there are only two ticket windows, but it seems that the staff are not familiar with the use of the machine. Because as a souvenir, I printed a train ticket for the nearest section from Arxan Station, and it took several minutes. Similar situations will not occur at other large railway stations, usually it can be done in tens of seconds. Perhaps it is because of its unique geographical location and unique shape that so many public accounts have praised it! But as a train fan, I really can't experience its uniqueness.

By Deacy |

It was built during the Japanese Kwantung Army's stationing period. Many people think it is artistic and like a small Swiss station, but when we went there, the entrance was still under renovation and we didn't feel much. This train station is still in use. From here you can take a train directly to Hailar Station. If you like green trains, you can take a ride.

I went there for the cultural heritage. It was very beautiful with bright lights at night. It is a relatively small place and is worth a visit.

By Cheng Xiaohe |

The building has very local characteristics. Arxan is the smallest city in China, so the railway station should also be the smallest city-level railway station, right?

By ROCK |

Arxan Railway Station is generally a small tourist attraction in Arxan. It is the first attraction when the train arrives in Arxan City. It records the relics left by the Japanese invasion of China and is a historical witness of Japan's invasion of my country's three northeastern provinces and plundering of forest resources during World War II. It has both Oriental style and is a six-roof, four-story building. It is also the smallest existing and still in use railway station in my country. The exterior architectural features are distinctive and worth seeing.

By Cypress tree in front of the courtyard |

The appearance is very unique, small, and it is a historic building, but because it is so small, it is very crowded for modern use, and it is inconvenient to check tickets and wait for the train.

By Enjoy the scenery along the way |

The Arxan Railway Station was built in 1937. It is a two-story Japanese-style building with low eaves and pointed roof. The outer wall of the first floor is surrounded by random stone walls made of granite, and the roof is covered with ochre cement. Today, the entire railway station is well preserved and still in use. When you arrive in Arshan, you should go and see it. I think this building is very beautiful. The building was built 80 years ago, and it still looks good. The new city construction and new high-rise buildings may destroy the background landscape of the station. Be sure to go and see it when you arrive in Arshan.
