Take the bus going up from Tianchi Service Area, and the first stop is Dujuan Lake. Usually many people come here to take pictures of the sunrise. We arrived around 9 o'clock and there were not many people. As for the scenery, it would be more beautiful if the sky was clear and there were a few clouds in the early morning or evening. There are cruise ships in the lake for you to cruise on, but it's just average overall.

We specially arranged to arrive at Dujuan Lake in the late afternoon, waiting for a sunset by the lake. The setting sun cast long shadows on everyone, shining golden on the lake. Although the wind was strong by the lake, and the early winter chill became even more noticeable as the sun set, we all welcomed the remaining warmth of the golden sun and the early dusk, and were reluctant to leave for a long time.

[Geographical knowledge] Dujuan Lake is a barrier lake formed by volcanic lava blocking the river. That is, volcanic lava formed a dam, blocking the river to form a lake. It was originally called Paozi No. 81 and is one of the nine barrier lakes in Arxan. It is said that it got its name because of the rhododendrons that bloomed in patches by the lake in May. In spring, gray cranes and swans inhabit it. In winter, it freezes and becomes a natural ice rink. We came in late September and only saw the branches and photos of the rhododendrons in full bloom.

When making the guide, someone mentioned that Dujuan Lake is a good place to watch the sunset or sunrise, so the first attraction in the morning was Dujuan Lake. But after the morning, probably because it was cloudy, I felt that the scenery there was rather mediocre. Dujuan Lake is relatively small, and it took us a long time to take pictures. In the end, it took about 40 minutes to finish the tour. Dujuan Lake is the entrance and the exit are both in the same place. When we passed by the door, we found some private cars parked there, and we thought it was likely that tourists drove there by themselves. Of course, the weather has a great impact on the natural scenery. Perhaps if other tourists go to Dujuan Lake in good weather, the travel experience will be better

Dujuan Lake has beautiful scenery in all seasons. When the remaining snow melts and spring comes, the azaleas bloom by the lake. In autumn, the water is as clear as a mirror, the forests around the lake are dyed with colors, and the lake surface is rippling with golden waves, which is also an important landscape in the park.

Dujuan Lake is very large, but there is not much room for people to play. The wooden plank road by the lake is less than 200 meters. If you don't take a cruise and watch the sunrise and sunset, it really won't take 20 minutes. I didn't catch up with the season when the azaleas bloom, so I can't say how gorgeous and charming they are; I did see both the sunrise and the sunset, which is a unique flavor in this journey mainly based on the grassland. Here is a reminder that although the park's sightseeing bus operates from 7:00 to 17:00, the working hours of the staff of the 7 major scenic spots are far beyond this range. For example, someone checked tickets at the entrance of Dujuan Lake at 5 a.m. and stayed until after sunset. Fortunately, there is still humane management under the abnormal ticket checking system. When we entered the scenic area to watch the sunrise for the second time, we talked to the staff and he also made some concessions and let us in directly. In the summer, Hulunbuir (including the Northeast) has a very early sunrise time. Basically, you can't see it after getting up after 4 o'clock, so we didn't really see the sunrise once in 20 days. It was already 5 o'clock in the morning when we entered the Dujuan Lake Scenic Area. We could only see the morning mist surrounding the distant mountains, but it was still quite comfortable.

At 9:45 in the morning, the sky at the airport was covered with fog. My thoughts seemed to go back to the Hulunbuir grassland a year ago. My friends went to Arshan, and I went home halfway to serve the king. At that time, I told them that the yellow leaves and blue sky that you didn’t see were brought back by Brother Li. One year after the Hulun squad was disbanded, the sky cleared up an hour after I left the airport. I may be the strongest Tianchi killer in history. From Changbai, to Xinjiang, and then to Arshan this time, the Tianchi I have been to reflects the white clouds in the sky and reflects Brother Li’s character. So, I gained the long-lost feeling of domestic travel. The feeling comes from impulse. There are not many people who can make such a perfect itinerary on impulse. I am one of them.

During the peak seasons of spring and summer, there are endless tourists here. They all say that Dujuan Lake is very beautiful at this time, but who has ever seen Dujuan Lake in autumn? The clouds here are so white, the sky is so blue, the trees are so yellow, and the water is so clear. Several wild ducks are playing leisurely in the water. There are no natural enemies here, and there is no human capture. It is simply a paradise for little wild ducks.

Dujuan Lake is a good place to just sit there and watch the world go by. The golden water plants, the azure sky, and the rippling water make you feel like you have entered a hidden paradise.

When I really walked to the lake, I felt like I was in Bali. Although I have never been to Bali, when I saw such blue water, my first feeling was that the sea here is so beautiful.

Since it was formed by volcanic eruption and lava flow, the ground in the Dujuan Lake area is covered with volcanic rocks and typical volcanic landforms.

On this vast land, there were volcanoes hundreds of millions of years ago. When the volcanic lava flowed, it blocked the river of that year and cut it into a section, forming a lake. TIPS: The ticket includes all attractions, but you can only enter each attraction once. I didn't know this until I arrived. Fortunately, the ticket inspector saw that I had come all the way and didn't make it difficult for me.

I went there specifically for sunset, it was so beautiful!!! Also, a reminder, the sun has set, and the wind blowing by the lake is still quite cold even in summer.

The sunset glow was fleeting, and after it disappeared, the sky really darkened.

The lake is named after the azaleas that bloom around it. The name of the lake was inscribed by Buhe, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress. The lake is in the shape of a crescent, with the southeast as the water inlet and the southwest as the water outlet. Personally, I think the best view is at the pier, where you can take pictures of the plank road in the lake, which is very scenic. However, because it is the off-season now, you are not allowed to go down to the pier. We also sneaked up, thinking that no one would know. But there was a staff member left behind at the pier. Fortunately, we had almost finished taking pictures before he found out.



It should be noted that it will be dark after sunset, so you should bring a flashlight. There are no more buses, so either you stay in a hotel next to Dujuan Lake so that you can walk back, or you need to have your own car, either chartering one or driving yourself, so that you can get back. Otherwise, there is really no car to go back.

One of the biggest surprises of this trip. We didn't have high hopes, after all, it was not the season for azaleas to bloom, but we were pleasantly surprised. The lake was blue, the same color as the sea, with golden birch trees. Many wild ducks could be seen on the calm lake. It was so beautiful. Recommended

In autumn, the grass turned yellow and there were no azaleas. The weather was very good when I went there. The lake was azure blue. There were fire ruins on the side and the wind was a bit strong. Overall, it was good and it was amazing at first sight.
