Located in the north of Ejin Banner, Alxa League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Juyan Lake is narrow, long and curved, like a crescent moon. The Ejina River flows into the lake, which is the main water source for Juyan Lake. Juyan is a Xiongnu language, which was translated as weak water and quicksand in the "Shui Jing Zhu". It was called Juyan Lake in the Han Dynasty, the West Sea in the Wei and Jin Dynasties, and Juyan Lake since the Tang Dynasty. It is now called Swan Lake.
Many famous people have come here in history, such as Huo Qubing and Zhang Qian in the Han Dynasty, and the great poet Wang Wei in the Tang Dynasty, all of whom left their footprints here.
Historically, the Juyan Lake had a large area and was one of the largest lakes in northwest my country. It consisted of the current East Juyan Lake (also known as Subon Nur) and West Juyan Lake (also known as Gashun Nur) as well as other lakes. The Juyan Lake that tourists visit today refers to the East Juyan Lake (Subon Nur), and the other lakes have dried up (the West Juyan Lake has begun to recover its water surface through continuous water replenishment in recent years).

The temperature at the Juyan Lake was extremely low in the early morning, and with the howling wind, I was shivering all over... Even after wearing two pairs of socks, two coats and two scarves, I still didn't feel warm enough, so I had to huddle behind A Pu and ask her to help me block the wind.
After entering the Juyanhai Scenic Area, we found that the entire scenic area is quite large. Because it took some time to queue up at the gate to get the tickets, it felt like daybreak. A Pu and I quickly found a high ground to wait, ready to take pictures of the rising sun.
This should be the first time in my life that I got up so early to watch the sunrise. Although I was shivering with cold and almost turned into an ice cube, but the moment I saw the sun coming out and the golden light shining on the earth, I instantly felt that everything was worth it!
After sunrise, we started to walk around the Juyan Lake. The temperature rose slightly after the sun came out, but it was still cold, after all, it was by the water. I endured the cold and walked around the Juyan Lake. The scenery was really beautiful. The surface of the Juyan Lake was very calm in the morning, reflecting the sky like a mirror. At the same time, there were many seagulls and reeds here, adding a lot of vitality to the tranquil scenery.
Juyan Lake is one of the must-see attractions in Ejina. In history, the water volume of Juyan Lake was sufficient, and the lakeside was beautiful grassland and fertile land. As the water volume of the main water supply source, the Ejina River, decreased year by year, the surface of Juyan Lake continued to shrink, the oasis became desertified, the poplar trees died, and the regional ecological environment deteriorated sharply. Juyan Lake dried up many times. As the country attaches importance to the ecological environment, the local area has done a lot of fruitful work to protect Juyan Lake, diverting the water of the Heihe River into Juyan Lake. The continuous water replenishment has restored Juyan Lake to its current beautiful scenery with abundant water and beautiful grass.
Watching the sunrise at Juyan Lake is a must-see for tourists. Although we followed the locals' advice and left before 5:30 to rush to Juyan Lake, we could see the sunrise at 7:00. But we didn't expect that when we were almost at Juyan Lake, the car would not be allowed to go. We heard that the park was overcrowded and no one was allowed to enter. At this time, we saw many people getting off the car and walking to the gate of Juyan Lake.
We followed the crowd to the entrance of Juyan Lake. It was still dark. The crowd at the entrance was as big as a hill. Many tour guides were shouting with loudspeakers. I hurried to find the ticket office. There were also many people queuing to buy tickets. The queue was not very orderly. Finally, I bought the ticket. I hurried to the park. I found a small hill and finally saw the moment when the sun just rose from the water. It was not easy.
When the sun rose completely, the crowd dispersed towards the main exit like ants. Then the bathroom was overcrowded and the loud speaker started to make noise again. In this situation, I really didn't want to stay in the scenic area any longer, so I decided to leave quickly.
Since Juyan Lake left us with bad memories early in the morning, we left Juyan Lake quickly after taking pictures of the sunrise.
The scenery is quite beautiful.
The charm of Juyan Lake will not disappoint you!
① During the "golden period", many people go to Juyan Lake to watch the sunrise. You should go early. It is less than an hour's drive from Ejina. It is best to take the lower road (old road), otherwise you will be stuck at the toll station. You may not be able to watch the sunrise, but you may be on the side of the road looking up at the sky.
② Waiting in line to buy tickets requires temperature and time, that is to say: to watch the sunrise over Juyan Lake, it is best to set off two hours in advance.
③ After entering the scenic area, don’t linger on the stands and hills on both sides of the plank road, as they are for those who like to be late and those who are confused. You must run straight to Pier 2 ferry station, climb on the shuttle bus bound for Pier 1 (or Pier 3), get off the bus and quickly grab the best sunrise viewing spot, and then you can just wait for the sunrise over the sea.
④There are two best walking routes in the scenic area. The first is to go to No. 2 (no stop) → No. 1 → No. 2 (no stop) → No. 3 → No. 2 and then exit the scenic area. The second is from No. 2 (no stop) → No. 3 → No. 2 (no stop) → No. 1 → No. 2 and then exit the scenic area.
⑤It is recommended to spend 2 and a half hours in the scenic area.
It was past 5 o'clock when we arrived at the Juyan Sea Scenic Area. It was still pitch black, but tourists had already started queuing at the visitor center. The management of the scenic area was a bit chaotic. Although there were three viewing platforms, the scenic bus did not have a clear display or a clear queuing area. So I got on a car and went to viewing platform No. 3. Later, I got lost and walked past viewing platforms No. 2 and No. 1. Only then did I realize that viewing platform No. 3 was indeed the most beautiful. After the sun rose, we realized that we were on a large water platform where we could see an isolated island on the water. The waterside was very cold, but with the sunrise and the screams of water birds, everything turned into the vast Mobei, as if returning to a thousand years ago. I walked straight from the waterside trail to viewing platform No. 1 and found a beautiful reed marsh.
The scenery is great. The endless lake is rippling in the morning light. The lake is covered with dense reeds. There are wild ducks and white cranes in the reeds, and seagulls are flying in the sky. Can you imagine such a fantastic scene in the vast desert? We walked along the wooden plank road to the depths of the reeds. There is a perfect location to take pictures of the sunrise. You can see the endless sea in the east. At 7 o'clock, a touch of red appeared on the horizon, and slowly two clouds appeared. The clouds gradually became larger and redder until they dyed the whole sky. At 7:20, the red sun slowly rose from the sea and sky. After two or three minutes, a red sun completely jumped out of the water and hung in the air. The whole lake was covered with a glow, illuminating half of the lake's golden reeds!
Juyan Lake is located about 50 kilometers north of Dalaihub Town, Ejin Banner (where the Populus euphratica forest is located), and it takes about an hour to drive there. The so-called "sea" is a huge lake, a huge oasis in the desert. In ancient times, it was one of the largest lakes in the northwest, and then it was completely dried up. Now, after years of renovation, the surface of Juyan Lake has recovered.
When you come to Juyan Lake, you must watch the sunrise. The sunrise here is rated as one of the ten most beautiful sunrises in China by the China Photographers Association. The desolation of the vast land and the beauty of the geese flying over the flat sand complement each other and form a beautiful picture.
This is where the poet Wang Wei wrote "I want to ask the border on a bicycle, passing through Guyan", more than a thousand years ago. The wind is blowing, the sky is blue, the sea is blue, and the reeds are deep, which cleanses my endless emotions...
Walking on the wooden plank road beside the lake, surrounded by lush golden reeds and the gentle breeze, you will forget that you were in the desert Gobi not long ago.
When the Juyan Lake dried up, it was as silent as hell for all living things. Now, the lake is clear and blue again, and the Juyan Lake has once again become a paradise for birds, beasts, fish and insects, and has been reborn.
It is hard to imagine that when you are walking at the end of the desert, you will suddenly see a field of reeds more than two meters high, shining silver in the sun.
It is hard to imagine that reeds, a feature of the Jiangnan waterside villages, grow so lush and lively here. The reed flowers are not eye-catching in color and have no attractive fragrance, but they are as elegant as snow and as tall as bamboo, bringing vitality to the desert Gobi and adding beauty to the vast lake.
At the Juyan Lake deep in the desert, the graceful reeds swaying in the wind make people feel for the first time the charm brought by their fragility and the aesthetic conception created by their simplicity.
We didn't go there specifically to see the sunrise, but by looking at the sea, the reeds, and the seabirds, we were able to feel the unique scenery and charm of the Juyan Lake.
Juyan Lake is the tail lake of Heihe River. Heihe River is the second largest inland river in China. It originates from the northern foot of Qilian Mountain. The melting water of Qilian Mountain converges into a river, flows northward to Juyan Lake, forms this lake, and then slowly evaporates. Juyan Lake once dried up due to excessive water use in the upper reaches of Heihe River. Later, it was protected by humans and water was stored, and it has the appearance it has today.
In ancient times, due to the small volume of the Heihe River, it was difficult to float boats. The "Shui Jing Zhu" called it "Ruoshui", which means weak buoyancy, that is, the "Ruoshui" in "Ruoshui Sanqian". In the Han Dynasty, the Juyan Lake was called Juyanze. Juyan is the Xiongnu language, meaning "Heavenly Lake". General Huo Qubing once led light cavalry to "pass Juyan and attack Qilian Mountain" to fight against the Xiongnu, as recorded in "Historical Records". In the Tang Dynasty, it was called Juyan Lake. The poet Wang Wei passed by here when he went out of the frontier and wrote the famous line: "I want to ask about the border on a bicycle, and pass Juyan, a vassal state. The smoke is straight in the desert, and the setting sun is round in the long river."
In ancient times, such beautiful scenery was hard to see. Now, the Juyan Sea Scenic Area has several main attractions: sunrise, seagulls and reeds.
During the National Day holiday, the sunrise time is around 7 o'clock. If you stay in Eqi City the night before, you need to go out very early to catch it. Due to the large number of tourists, a large number of vehicles are blocked at the entrance of the scenic area. If you arrive late, you may be blocked outside the scenic area and cannot see the sunrise. The car we chartered was also blocked at the entrance. We immediately got off the car and ran in, and only then could we barely see the sunrise.
There are a lot of reeds in the Juyan Lake, forming a continuous reed marsh, which is very beautiful. Groups of seagulls will fly to the shore, with red beaks, white feathers, black feathers on wings, round bodies, and cute appearances. Tourists can feed them. The scenic area also has a boat tour of the lake, but it was out of service when I went there.
The scenic area is divided into piers 1-4, all of which have water viewing platforms and plank roads, which are good viewing spots. There are scenic area buses connecting the piers. This year, the water level of Juyan Lake rose and submerged part of the water plank road. The scenic area closed it for safety reasons. There are no buses to go back and forth from the entrance of the scenic area to the pier. You need to walk or pay to ride a camel. Private cars are not allowed to enter.
The entrance fee to the scenic spot is 75 yuan, including the bus ticket to the scenic spot.
In the northwest where deserts and Gobi are everywhere, the Juyan Lake with lush grass and water is like a hidden secret place in the south of the Yangtze River.
The most beautiful moment of Juyan Lake is in the early morning. When the sun rises, the rays of light dye the reeds red, and the tip of each reed sparkles.
This place was once dry and desertified, with no humans or birds left. After ecological transformation, it has regained its vitality.
The lake is rippling with green waves, fish are jumping and swimming leisurely, reeds are swaying by the lake, and red-billed gulls are dancing back and forth.
Accommodation: You can camp in the scenic area or stay in the nearby Dalaihub Town of Ejin Banner.
In the early morning, although the temperature was close to zero, on the sand slope by the lake, people were standing in the cold wind waiting to watch the sunrise. The viewing platform was already crowded, and the pond on the plank road was already crowded. We barely squeezed into a gap in a not-so-good position and waited for the sunrise. With the cheers of the people, we saw the sky gradually brightening up, and the sun emerged with a small bright top. I saw a touch of red in the east, and the sun emerged from the water in a few minutes. Unfortunately, the clouds were a bit thick, and the sunrise was not so wonderful. The sun jumped out of the water and began to rise little by little. After rising, it was very strong and dazzling, but orange-red, with a little bit of clouds embellishment, giving people a feeling of brilliance. It's dawn, wow! The clear lake, the swaying reeds, the winding plank road, the flying birds, the Juyan Lake is so beautiful!
The management and service here are very poor. When queuing up to board the bus, the scene was a bit chaotic and crowded. The management of Ejina Juyan Lake is a bit poor. The staff may be temporary workers. It feels particularly bad. When buying tickets for the elderly, I was misled and wasted some time.
This was the highlight moment of our Ejina Populus euphratica forest loop tour. At least the beautiful scenery at this moment has been deeply imprinted in my heart, touched my soul, and will never be erased.
Three words to sum up the Juyan Lake: Too beautiful!!! I was reluctant to get up before 4 o'clock at first, but I didn't expect that this time watching the sunrise would become a "really good" experience: the blue sea in the desert, the sun in the blue sky, the dancing reeds, the flying seagulls, it was like a fairyland!
Located on the northern edge of the Badain Jaran Desert, about 40 kilometers northeast of Dalaihub Town, Ejina Banner, Alxa League, Juyan Lake is the destination of the ancient Ruoshui River. The Ejina River is inseparable from the Qilian Mountains. Every spring, the warm wind melts the ice and snow on the Qilian Mountains, forming a rushing river that rushes into the Alxa Desert; after the rainy season arrives, the rainwater that replenishes the water enters the river. The river water is like a crystal ribbon, extending to the northern end of Ejina Banner. At the end of the ribbon are two white "hydrangeas" - Gashunnuoer Subo Nur, which is the Ruoshui Quicksand "Juyan Lake" recorded in historical documents - Juyan Lake.
The scenery is super beautiful, but the service is super bad, mainly the patrol officers, who use chicken feathers as a token of authority and enforce the law in a rude manner, which is so annoying!
It's OK, the sunrise is also very beautiful, you can go there if you pass by.
The sunrise over Juyan Lake is a very worthwhile place to check in.
A large oasis in the desert, boundless, recommended for sunrise photography
Overall, the Juyan Lake Scenic Area is quite good. The sunrise here is very famous, but because it is a bit far from the county town, you have to get up early if you want to take pictures of the sunrise.
The Juyan Lake is the tail lake of the Heihe River, the second largest inland river in my country. The Heihe River originates from the depths of the Qilian Mountains, flows through Qinghai, Gansu and Inner Mongolia for more than 800 kilometers, and then flows into two Gobi depressions on the northwest edge of the Badain Jaran Desert, forming two large lakes, the eastern and western lakes, collectively known as the Juyan Lake.
"There are three thousand rivers, but I only drink from one ladle." The section of the Heihe River from Dingxin in Jinta County to Huxixin Village in Ejin Banner that best flows into the Juyan Lake is also called "weak water". The Juyan Lake is a peculiar wandering lake. Its position fluctuates from east to west, from south to north, and the lake surface changes from time to time. "Juyan" is a Xixia word, which means "moving desert"
I highly recommend everyone to go there!!! 5-star praise! For details, you can read my travel notes http://www.mafengwo.cn/i/11567278.html
Located in the northern part of Ejin Banner, Alxa League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, it is long, narrow and curved like a crescent moon. The Ejina River flows into the lake and is the main source of water supply for the Juyan Lake.
There were many photographers shooting birds there, and I took a few photos.
Since there were too many tourists coming to the Populus euphratica forest, they all had to go to Juyan Lake to watch the sunrise the next day. We were stuck in a traffic jam at the entrance of the scenic area. We also heard that the number of tourists in the Juyan Lake scenic area had exceeded the limit, and the gate was closed to no more tourists. There was a long line of cars and groups of tourists failed to enter the scenic area smoothly. It was difficult to turn back at this time. The cold in the early morning did not cool down the enthusiasm of the tourists. Everyone wrapped themselves in cotton-padded jackets. There was still enthusiasm and screams with the sunrise!
There are often many unexpected things during travel, which may be different from the original plan, but just enjoy the surprises and don’t just pursue scenic spots. Sometimes the things that happen on the journey are also very interesting!
I went to Juyan Lake to watch the beautiful sunrise, and the reeds by the water were very artistic.
The ticket to Juyan Lake is 75 yuan (including the sightseeing bus fare). The scenic area is not big, and the sightseeing bus is completely unnecessary. There is a plank road, and it takes more than ten minutes to walk to the place where you can watch the sunrise. Juyan Lake is a lake in the desert, which is really magical. There are many seagulls and reeds by the lake.
The Juyan Lake can heal every tired traveler.
I got up at 4:30 in the morning and set out to watch the sunrise at 5:00. Walking on the long plank road at the entrance of the scenic area, the orange color had begun to cover the horizon.
The wind blows, ripples appear on the mirror-like water surface, and by the quiet lake, it seems that you can hear your own heartbeat. The clouds are changing, and the red sun rises quietly, slowly dyeing the sky and the lake into its own color. Flocks of seagulls are flying all over the sky, and the endless reeds are swaying gracefully in this rich morning glow. "The clouds and the lonely wild geese fly together, and the autumn water and the long sky are the same color" (please forgive me for changing a word of the poet) is the most appropriate poem I can think of at this moment.
I have seen sunrises over the sea, deserts, and mountains, but I was still shocked by the sunrise over the Juyan Lake. It was not the vastness, the immensity, the beauty, or the transparency, but the quietness - a bottomless silence. Time, space, and the noisy crowds seemed to have ceased to exist in this time and space, leaving only the tranquility of time frozen.
As the sun rises higher, a gentle golden warmth spreads. This is what the reed marshes need, what the flocks of seagulls need, and what we who are frozen need.
Thousands of seagulls flew in the reeds, their cheerful cries piercing the sky, adding a touch of agility to the silent Juyan Lake. This was the first time I watched seagulls so closely, their chirping seemed to invite us to fly with them between heaven and earth. At this moment, we were also infected by these little lives, waving our arms almost crazily, shouting to them, calling, laughing, and letting ourselves fly.
There are three viewing piers in Juyan Lake. Pier 2 is the closest to the scenic area entrance. Pier 1 is on the left and Pier 3 is on the right. You need to take a shuttle bus. Piers 1 and 3 are the most beautiful for watching the sunrise, but they are also the most crowded. No matter which viewing platform you are at, you can see the most beautiful side of Juyan Lake.
The sunrise, seagulls and reeds over the Juyan Lake are so beautiful that you will never want to leave.
I got up at 5am to watch the sunrise at Juyan Lake... The ticket to Juyan Lake is 70 yuan per person... This place is already dominated by tourist groups, and the sunrise doesn't seem to be very beautiful...
After finishing the trip to Juyan Lake the day before, we returned to Yinchuan in the evening. It was a long drive, but for going home, the journey was nothing.
As night turns to day, the next day we will have our last attraction, Shuidonggou, which is said to be a time travel from 30,000 to 500 years.
It is hard to say whether the whole scenic area is good or bad. The scenic area is very large, and the itinerary along the way includes scenic shuttle buses, cruise ships, donkey carts, camel carts, and tractors.
Lush reeds, clear water, flying seagulls, and a large number of tourists
We set off on time at 5:30 in the morning. The moon was bright above our heads and there were a few stars in the sky. I was excited but also worried that the weather would be bad and we wouldn’t be able to see the sunrise.
We arrived at Juyan Lake half an hour later. Because the scenic area was under renovation, the ticket window was some distance away from the scenic area. Many people, probably student volunteers, came to help, and they were all wearing uniform down jackets.
The ticket price for Juyan Lake is 60 yuan. Full-time undergraduate students and seniors over 65 years old can get half-price tickets. WeChat and Alipay are supported. After buying the ticket, you can drive in after checking the ticket. It is recommended to go early because the parking lot is still under repair, so there is more room for parking. We arrived at 6:10. It was really cold outside, but there was enough time to adjust the equipment and eat breakfast~
At 6:40, we got out of the car to take a good spot. Gradually, more and more people came. At 6:50, the area was full of people. At this time, the red-billed gulls also came to us in groups. We didn't hesitate to take photos. We took a lot of satisfying photos. I was very happy at this time.
At 7:00, someone shouted that they were coming up. Everyone stared at the east intently. Suddenly, everything became quiet. Finally, at 7:05, the sun came out and everyone cheered. It was really a happy time. The red-billed gulls and people were bathing in the newborn sunshine. People's faces were filled with satisfied smiles and their eyes were full of hope. Everything was so harmonious.
If there were fewer people here, I think it would be like heaven.
In addition to National Highway 227, Juyan Lake is another surprise for me on this trip to the northwest. I originally wanted to see the sunrise. I got up at 5:30. It was really cold. I wore the jacket I bought when I went to Xuexiang, but I was still shivering. After waiting for a sunrise at 7:17, the sun shone on my body, and it was a little warm.
The other two friends were too cold, so they went back to the car to keep warm after watching the sunrise. I followed the crowd and saw the red-billed gulls. Groups of red-billed gulls flew towards the sun, howling. The sunlight sprinkled on the groups of reeds, and everything was as beautiful as a painting.
It was already dawn when I arrived at the gate, and I had to queue at least 20 minutes before I could buy a ticket. I had a few complaints: first, there were no separate windows for group and individual tickets, which made individual tourists spend a lot of time waiting; second, the queue for the shuttle bus was quite chaotic, and tourists rushed to get on the bus to compete for time to see the sunrise; third, it should be made clear that the nearest viewing point can be walked, and there is no need to buy a shuttle ticket.
The water was deep blue, the reeds were swaying in the air, the relict gulls (I checked later) were flying happily in the sky, tourists were feeding them, attracting other birds to compete for food, everyone was taking pictures, and half of my bread was spilled.
Not only can you see the beautiful sunrise at Juyan Lake, but you can also see a sky full of stars on a clear night. It really looks like the stars are inlaid on a dark blue silk cloth, which is very beautiful.
There are three viewing platforms in the scenic area, namely No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3. On the way to viewing platform No. 2 with my friends, I accidentally entered a reed marsh. I didn't expect that there was a different world inside. I found an open place and waited quietly for the sunrise with my friends. The air was cold and the wind was comfortable. There were wild ducks and water birds on the lake. Being in the reed marsh, I felt that everything was just right. Unlike the direct, rough and strong sunrise in the desert, the sunrise in Juyan Lake is slow, soft, unhurried, and unfolds slowly at its own pace. At that moment, my friends were very tacitly silent and silently enjoyed this moment. This is the most gentle sunrise I have ever seen, no one else.
Play time: Watch the sunrise, 2~3 hours. Play tips: There are three docks in the scenic area, one, two, and three. Go to Pier 3 to watch the sunrise, because there are the most seagulls there. Pier 2 is the boarding point, go to Pier 1 on the left and Pier 3 on the right. In fact, the ride is only 1 kilometer, and if there are many people, you can walk there. After watching the sunrise at Pier 3, you can go back to Pier 1 and Pier 2 to take pictures. If you don't watch the sunrise, it will lose a lot of flavor. Dear, you must watch the sunrise at Juyan Lake. Walk along the plank road from the entrance for more than 10 minutes to Pier 2, the bus boarding point. Walk along the plank road from Pier 2 to Pier 1. The reeds and reflections along the way are still very beautiful. The desert texture plus the clear water set off a special water ripple. The oasis in the desert is indeed very special.
Depart at 5:00, enter Juyan Lake at 6:30, sunrise at 7:18, this rhythm really makes me a little bit unable to shout, but Juyan Lake is a famous sunrise site, it would be a pity if you don't take a look. It's really cold. I didn't check the weather forecast. It was expected that the temperature at that time would be only about 3 degrees. Everyone was frozen like a dog. My hands were so stiff that frostbite was about to come out. It was hard enough to watch the sunrise. I quickly clocked in and thanked the master who took pictures for me. It was still beautiful when I saw the sun gradually coming out. The seagulls in the sky spread their wings and flew high under the glory of the sunrise, showing a different kind of beauty. The sunrise was projected through the gaps in the reeds, adding a little more color to the horizon. Although the sunrise has risen, it is really cold, super cold, and the snot and tears are constantly running from the cold. So friends who want to watch the sunrise, your down jackets, hats, scarves, fleece pants, snow boots, gloves, and warm baby, use whatever you have, you will definitely not have leucorrhea, it will really be very useful!
Juyan Lake is definitely a pleasant surprise, a very nice scenic spot, and worth a visit. We set off at around 5 o'clock in the morning, and the dozens of kilometers of roads leading to the scenic area were already crowded with cars, connecting end to end. The starry sky, morning light, lake water, the first day, fish and gulls, reed flowers, etc. gave tourists the best enjoyment.
When we arrived at Juyan Lake, it was really cold, only 1 or 2 degrees, and the wind was strong. We all wore down jackets, gloves, hats, and masks. People? Are there a lot? I don't want to say more, it's so sad! ! The tour guide lined up for at least 20 minutes to buy tickets at the tour guide channel. The problem is - the sun is different from other attractions! ! ! ! It won't stay out just because you haven't bought a ticket! ! ! ! This made everyone anxious! ! ! ! The sky was already turning white, and there were still 2 people in front of the tour guide! ! ! ! Looking at the people who had got the tickets and were waiting in line for ticket inspection, we collapsed again. We began to look out through the railings and put our hands through the railings to take pictures, just like visiting a prisoner. Later, we finally got the group tickets, and the ticket inspector actually asked us to verify our ages one by one - to see if there were so many people with half-tickets! ! ! How much time would this waste! ! ! ! ! My companions saw someone climbing over the railing, so they also climbed over it. After my mother and I got the scenic area battery car tickets, we hesitated and climbed over the railing. The girl at the ticket gate simply gave up trying to stop us. We all ran wildly towards the already red sky! ! ! ! It was really like Kuafu chasing the sun~~~ I laughed so hard afterwards~~~
The No. 1 viewing platform is slightly higher, and you can see the whole view of the Juyan Lake. The No. 2 viewing platform can see reeds and many water birds, and there are speedboats to cruise the lake. The No. 3 viewing platform is the best location for sunrise. From the No. 2 viewing platform, you can walk along the plank road to the No. 3 viewing platform. It is recommended to play for 4 hours. After the play, you can go to the Ceke Port to buy things if you have time.
The best time to see it is at sunrise, or around sunrise. It is not recommended to visit during the day, but it should be good in the evening. The service facilities need to be improved. You need to be very early to see the sunrise, and there are no street lights. The battery car is sold in a bundle, but it is actually just a short ride, which is a bit forced consumption.
The ticket is 60 yuan. After buying the ticket, the car can drive in. There is still a long way to go, and finally we drove to the place closest to the observation deck and stopped.
It might seem a little strange to suddenly see such a lake in the desert. But we were not strange at all, we were just freezing cold. Friends, remember to wear more clothes when you get up early to watch the sunrise.
We jumped out of the car and ran to the observation deck, where there were already dense crowds of people leaning against the railings. It was not easy to get close and find a good photo position, so we could only take advantage of every opportunity and act accordingly.
The occasional flight of birds over the quiet lake would cause cheers from the crowd and relieve the coolness of the whistling wind.
After the sun had completely risen, the sky lost some of its color and people's interest began to shift to the flying birds. There were also many tourists feeding them, and we decided to walk to the other side.
Because the strong wind gave us a headache, we didn’t stay in the Juyan Lake for too long and drove to the Ceke Port to find a gas station.
The sunrise is invincible, the seagulls are invincible! What is lacking is the facilities and services of the scenic area, which are completely unable to meet the needs of the National Day holiday.
The next day, we got up early in the morning. The sunrise time was 7 o'clock. We set out from the city at 5:40 and drove for nearly an hour. Although we got up early, there were already many people on the street. The driver said that these were basically outsiders who went to dig Hami melons. After the four of us had breakfast, we bought some snacks (to feed the seagulls) and took the car to Juyan Lake. The car drove smoothly all the way, and gradually we could see a little light.
We arrived at the destination around 6:40. The viewing platform in the distance was already full of people. Photographers were all waiting for the sunrise with their cameras. The morning wind blew from the lake with a little moisture. It was rare to feel the southern feeling. If you want to watch the sunrise, you must bring a jacket, preferably a fleece jacket. I took only a few photos and my hands were too cold to bear.
Standing at the Juyan Lake at this moment, it seems as if I have returned to the moment when Huo Qubing crossed the Juyan Lake. Before my eyes are thousands of troops, tall war horses and cold armor, strict troops and eager eyes.
We have seen the sunrise on the bedrock seashore in Dalian, we have seen the sunrise on Yujing Peak in Sanqing Mountain, we have seen the sunrise on the east coast of Weizhou Island, we have seen the sunrise on Meili Snow Mountain, and we have seen the sunrise at the foot of Shizhangdong Waterfall.
These sunrises are all extremely spectacular, but the sunrise over the Juyan Lake is different from all of them.
Perhaps it was because of Wang Wei's heroic spirit, or perhaps it was because of the memories of the Han Dynasty's conquests, but the sunrise that day seemed particularly warm.
A flock of European birds was flying in front of me, and in the distance, the red sun was rising. In the past, I just watched the sun rise indifferently, but on that day, I held my phone and recorded the five minutes of sunrise without moving, even though my hands were frozen.
After sunrise, the crowd slowly dispersed, and we chose to stroll on the wooden plank road, with green reeds on both sides, and occasionally wild ducks or European birds flying by. That quietness can go straight into people's hearts, and that emptiness can penetrate desires...
The beautiful Juyan Sea in Juyan is rich in water plants and home to a large number of birds, making it very suitable for bird hunting (photography, not hunting). The sunrise is also a must-see, and many people come here just to catch a sunrise.
I got up at 4 o'clock and drove for an hour. When I got to the gate, it said that the scenic spot was closed for renovation and no one was allowed to enter. It was so bad! I had to stand on the side of the road to watch the sunrise on the dirt road.
Juyan Lake is the tail lake of the Heihe River, the second largest inland river in my country. It was called Juyan Lake in the Han Dynasty and Juyan Lake in the Tang Dynasty. It originates from the Heihe River deep in the Qilian Mountains, flows through Qinghai, Gansu and Inner Mongolia for more than 800 kilometers, and then flows into two Gobi depressions on the northwest edge of the Badain Jaran Desert, forming two large lakes in the east and west, collectively known as the Juyan Lake.
The main attraction of Juyan Lake is the sunrise. The temperature is very low, so you should keep warm. The golden reeds and flying seagulls under the blue sky and white clouds are fascinating.
When you come to Ejina Banner to see the Populus euphratica forest, you should definitely not miss the Juyan Lake. The Juyan Lake is the legendary place where Laozi became an immortal, so it is also called "the immortal trace of quicksand". The Ejina River is the main source of water for the Juyan Lake. The sunrise over the Juyan Lake is amazing, with water birds circling on the water and the calm lake reflecting the world.
The Juyan Lake is an oasis in the endless yellow sand.
When we arrived at Juyan Lake, it was just dawn, and the sky and earth were hazy, as if covered by a layer of gauze. Here, I spent the most beautiful dawn time.
"Reeds are lush and green, white dew turns to frost. The so-called sweetheart is on the other side of the water." The misty waves are vast, and the reeds are swaying in the wind. Only the Book of Songs can describe this scene, but I don't know where the sweetheart is.
The sky became redder and redder, and the sun finally peeked out, like a shy girl, "coming out after much calling, still holding the pipa and half covering her face". The sky became brighter and brighter, and the sun gradually rose, finally revealing its true face, and instantly releasing a dazzling light.
I remember the sunrise and reeds of Juyan Lake, but I can't forget the seagulls of Juyan Lake, in various poses, some giving people a melancholy back, some tilting their heads to look cute, some spreading their wings and soaring over the water, and some floating on the water contentedly.
Laofuzi: "Walking on the Imperial Street·Weak Water Flowing Sand Pavilion Oasis" - Juyanhai, Ejina Banner, Alxa League, Inner Mongolia 16·10·11 Lake water and sand dunes are interdependent, West Sea autumn tour road; flying wild geese pavilion sky clouds, Weicheng morning rain gulls walk. Hunting the sky proudly, burning cloud curtains, green cages know how many trees? Suddenly east, west, south and north, sometimes big, sometimes small. Flying sand and dust come to the spring, the blue waves ripple joy and anger. Peach Blossom Land is beyond the world, the dream is still shimmering, how many lonely smoke and long rivers are there?! We set off at 5:00 in the morning. Although the sunrise was not until 7:00, the chartered driver and I set off early because we were still dozens of kilometers away from the city. Facing the slightly bright horizon in the east, the car drove all the way to the China-Mongolia border. Because of the Inner Mongolia grassland, there are almost no obstructions on all sides, so the horizon always stays in front of you, and as time goes by, a golden ray of light that can't see the edge is formed at the end. This is the first time in my travel experience that it is so clear. Although I was sitting in the car, I felt it was amazing. Before 7 o'clock, I arrived at the entrance of the Juyan Sea Scenic Area, and the staff called me to take the shuttle bus. The car drove all the way to the side of the lake and stopped in front of a high-angle viewing platform. From here, there were about 3 or 4 viewing platforms, high and low, near and far, but without exception, there were more people. Although it was not possible to take a good photo of the sunrise and the Juyan Lake, it was also a wonderful feeling to watch the sunrise in such an open and flat place. There were no tall buildings or mountains around to block the light of the sunrise. Just taking a group of silhouettes of people watching the sunrise in the east was intoxicating. The sky became more and more rosy, and with the shouts of the crowd, the sun revealed a trace of golden light, and soon, it showed her delicate figure to people. The sky, which was originally red, orange and purple, was instantly dyed golden by the sun's rays, and the deep blue lake surface became sparkling. Going down the viewing platform and reaching the lake, countless reeds looked particularly charming under the light of the sunrise, and a breeze blew by, making it even more beautiful. However, soon, I was attracted by the sound of birds and came to the pier. It turned out that a large group of red-billed gulls gathered at the Juyan Lake Pier. It is estimated that they meet tourists all year round. These gulls are not afraid of people. They stand on the wooden railings in front of the pier, lined up one by one, which is very interesting. Some gulls keep calling at you, as if asking for food? Sure enough, there was a staff member selling corn kernels next to me. I quickly got a bag, walked to the end of the pier, grabbed a handful, and threw it into the air. The red-billed gulls that were standing quietly on the pier instantly swooped over and ate most of the corn in the air. The rest that fell into the water was swallowed up in a flash. Following the wooden plank road on the lake, you can walk deeper, with reed marshes more than 2 meters high on both sides. In the distance, you can see water birds flying over the lake from time to time.
It was unusually cold in the early morning of Juyan Lake in early October. I put on all my clothes and waited for the sunrise.
We set off at around four o'clock, and when we arrived we waited for the sunrise. The scenery was great, and I stood out from the crowd of selfie sticks and grabbed a good spot.
There are water birds everywhere in Juyan Lake. I took a lot of photos while waiting for the sunrise. There are a lot of people in the peak season.
Juyan Lake is a lake in the desert, and its area is not small. It makes people feel very magical. How can such a large oasis be hidden in the barren land? Sunrise is usually more than 7 o'clock. After buying a ticket to enter, you have to walk along the wooden plank road to the lake, which takes more than half an hour. There are many team guests here, so it is crowded early in the morning. The ticket price is 80 yuan. I brought a sightseeing bus ticket. In fact, it is not big inside. The sightseeing bus ticket is really a waste. Although the area of Juyan Lake is large, the several viewing points in the scenic area are not large. Basically, there is a plank road of less than 2 kilometers along the lake. If you want to take pictures of the sunrise, it will be good at any position on the lakeside. I took pictures of the sunrise at the starting point of the sightseeing bus. The advantage is that the place is relatively large, the scenery is relatively flat, and there are many seagulls. In fact, I later thought that the best point was at the pier, where there are many reeds, and you can take a very beautiful sunrise reed sea effect. There are too many seagulls, the background is a salted egg yolk, and the seagulls fly around in groups, not to mention how beautiful it is. In fact, you can also come to Juyan Lake in the afternoon to take pictures of the sunset, but in the desert, it is easy to have sandstorms in the afternoon. When sandstorms blow, no matter how beautiful Juyan Lake is, you can't appreciate it, so I still recommend coming in the morning. People who come in the afternoon often miss the beautiful scenery. At the starting point of the sightseeing bus, there are breakfast shops, and you can solve it here if you are hungry. There are too many people waiting in line for the sightseeing bus. I asked the security guard how far the next attraction is. The security guard said that the entire sightseeing bus route is less than 2 kilometers, so just walk around and it's easy. In this case, let's go, and you can enjoy the scenery while walking. For the convenience of tourists, wooden plank roads are built along the lakeshore, which is very convenient to walk, and we will reach the pier in a while. It costs 80 yuan per person to get on the boat. I didn't get on the boat because the wind was too strong. The reeds in Juyan Lake are very beautiful, in large areas.
The parking fee is 10 yuan for unlimited time, and the ticket price is 70 yuan per ticket (including the shuttle bus fee within the scenic area).
After entering the scenic area, we found that many tourists had arrived earlier. We ran and stumbled to occupy a favorable position (a small dirt slope), and saw the sky gradually brightening, but just as we saw a hint of red line, thin clouds covered the horizon. It was a pity that we did not see the sunrise.
Then we walked along the wooden boardwalk to the beach. Looking over there, we saw endless reeds swaying in the breeze and flocks of birds playing on the water, on the boardwalk, and in the sky... We had done our homework in advance and brought bird food called "Wang Wang Senbei". As long as we pinched the senbei in our hands, the birds would fly over and peck at them by themselves. They were not afraid of tourists at all.
There are shuttle buses between scenic spots, and there are yurts selling mutton offal soup. I didn't have breakfast in the morning because I wanted to watch the sunrise. Now I was cold and hungry, so it was a good time to replenish energy. I had two bowls and spent 60 yuan.
Finally, you need to walk along the wooden plank road from the scenic area to the exit. We saw a jeep that charges 10 yuan per person, so we drove back in the sand in a very cool way.
I got up early and rushed to Juyan Lake from Ejina just to watch the sunrise. I did see the sunrise, but the so-called Juyan Lake is actually a wetland in the desert next door, and the ticket is not cheap.
On the quiet lake, the seabirds are enjoying the company of each other. When you sprinkle some biscuit crumbs on them, they will fly up and compete for food. The seabirds under the setting sun feel like they are returning home on the waves.
The Black River forms a lake here, where there is abundant water and grass, and flocks of cattle, sheep and water birds.
On the vast Gobi Desert, there is a Juyan Lake that preserves the scenery of the south of the Yangtze River, which is really surprising. Under the warm afternoon sun, strolling in the reed marshes is like a Zen retreat. No wonder later generations built a statue of Laozi ascending to heaven here. . .
Located 40 kilometers north of Dalaihub Town, Ejin Banner, the natural lake is formed by the injection of the Heihe River, which originates from the Qilian Mountains. It is divided into two lakes, east and west, with a water area of about 300 square kilometers. The sunrise is really beautiful like a fairyland, with 65 different kinds of rare birds singing and flying, and everyone cheering. It is very spectacular. If you watch the sunset, it will be "the setting sun and the solitary wild goose fly together, and the autumn water and the sky are the same color"~~
If you haven't been to Juyan, you are not a true man! The places where the great general Huo Qubing has been!
Juyan Lake is the tail lake of the Heihe River, the second largest inland river in my country. It is located in the north of Ejina, more than 40 kilometers away from the Ceke Port. There are large reed marshes by the lake, which is a good place to watch the sunrise. The ticket price is 80 yuan per person, and it is 78 yuan if you buy it online. We booked our tickets online on the way there, and lined up to get the tickets. In fact, except for saving a few yuan, we didn't save much trouble.
The sunrise over Juyan Lake is very beautiful. Unfortunately, due to the traffic jam during the National Day holiday, the sun came out before we even got to the scenic area, so we could only take a few photos outside the gate.
It takes 1 hour to drive from Ejina County. The lake is so strange that it is not the source of the sandstorm. On one side is the sea of reeds, and on the other side is the desert Gobi. What a combination. It always makes people feel surprised. Each viewing platform has its own special features, and each one has a different view. In October, you must prepare thick winter clothes. The temperature at noon rises to around 20 degrees, so it is still very torturous to wear.
I walked to the lake from the entrance, but there was no car to take me. I was a little tired and dry walking through the desert. The shuttle bus was not at the entrance of the scenic area. The scenery was beautiful, there were many seabirds, and it was the first time I saw a reed marsh. I was very excited.
The desert oasis is rich in water and grass and full of birds. The Juyan Lake is closely related to the environment of Alxa and is a direct reflection of the ecological stability of Alxa: when the water of the Juyan Lake is abundant, Ejina is prosperous; when the water of the Juyan Lake is dry, Ejina is desolate. It is said that the Juyan Lake has dried up six times, and the reason for the most recent drying up is the same as the formation of the strange forest, which shows the importance of environmental protection.
If you don't watch the sunrise, the scenery is really good. It's really far from the gate of the scenic area to the lake.
You can stay in Juyan Lake or camp there. You must get up early to watch the sunrise. The sunrise time during holidays is around 7:10.
It's a very boring place. After visiting Qinghai Lake, there is really no need to come here again.
The sunrise is beautiful, but there are many people. You can go to the third platform for the most beautiful view.
Juyan Lake is located in the vast Gobi Desert. A piece of water suddenly appeared in the thousands of miles of Gobi Desert. This piece of water is so beautiful that you can't help but sigh at the magic of nature. You must watch the sunrise when you go to Juyan Lake.
The sunrise over the Juyan Lake is very famous. It is said that every day before dawn the lakeside is filled with people waiting for the sunrise. Photography enthusiasts from all walks of life set up their cameras and occupy a piece of land in order to take pictures of the rays of light that appear in the sky at sunrise, covering the entire sky in fiery red.
The seagulls in the Juyan Lake are migratory birds. This season is the last time they gather here. As the temperature drops, they will leave here and fly south. The cheerful cries of the seagulls cut through the sky, adding a bit of vitality to the quiet Juyan Lake.
Outfit: The beautiful blue sky and transparent waters of Juyan Lake are matched with a black dress and a pink beret. Juyan Lake is very warm at noon.
