To be honest, a group of people came to Lianyungang, and they all wanted to go to Huaguo Mountain, so I just followed them. The result... can't be described in words. It feels like an ordinary mountain, nothing special. The so-called attractions above are also fooling people. They are basically in the early stage of development. After a day, I feel like I have been strolling in a small local park for a day. All the landscapes are basically man-made and made very roughly. There is a temple halfway up the mountain, but it is very small. The masters inside are also a bit secular. Basically, they circle you to donate incense. Of course, I shouldn't say this. There is a statue on the top of the mountain, and then it is named Yunv Peak; there is a small reservoir halfway, and then it is named Yaochi; just find a small stone and say it is Nuwa Stone; then make a bunch of small signs for instructions along the way, and make a huge stone lean against a certain image, which is also a scenic spot. To be honest, except for the group of wild monkeys on the top of the mountain, there is really nothing to see the whole way. Just think of it as visiting the monkey mountain in the zoo and exercising your body by the way. The Water Curtain Cave, which everyone is rushing to visit, is just like a man-made tunnel. I don't know if there is water flowing down from the entrance of the cave, but it is not so shocking or novel. It is just like this scenic spot, which is so "casual" as a whole. I can only think of the word "casual" to describe it. If you really want to come, it is recommended to take the shuttle bus in the mountain after entering the door. It costs 25 yuan to reach the top of the Yunv Peak, and then walk down. All the attractions are almost the same. I still have to emphasize that there are no attractions. If you like to take a cable car, you can take a car to the halfway point of the mountain. You don't need to go to the top of the mountain. The ticket price is 15 yuan, and then you can take the cable car to the top of the mountain. After that, you can walk down the same way. Although there is a zipline project on the mountain, I have not experienced it. If you are interested, you can try it.

The scenery at the top of Yunv Mountain is pretty good, especially when the weather is fine. Water Curtain Cave is too famous, but it is just average. The monkeys are on both sides of the scenic bus road, and you need to walk on the main road down the mountain to see them. The overall scenic area fee is a bit expensive: 90 yuan for tickets, 25 yuan for a one-way scenic bus, 50 yuan for a zip line, 15 yuan for parking, and 200 yuan per person for the full scenic bus. The visitor center is not bad, and it is very convenient for shopping and eating.

The scenery and environment are very good, but the tour guide at the entrance is very deceptive. The tour guide fee is 200 yuan, and then more than 100 yuan for the sightseeing bus and cable car. In the end, I realized that the total amount was only a few dozen yuan. It felt very bad. And when we reached the top of the mountain, the Water Curtain Cave took us down the mountain in a hurry. Friends who go to travel again must pay attention!!!

I drove there from Nanjing on the weekend. I went to Liujiawan Sea-hunting Park in Rizhao on May 11, and arrived at Huaguoshan at 10:00 on May 12. The ticket was 45 yuan, and soldiers, police, and people born in the year of the pig or the monkey did not need to buy tickets. Time was tight, so I took a transfer bus, which cost 25 yuan per person.

There are quite a few scenic spots, but I only focused on two of them. I first took a bus to the highest point, Yunv Peak. I came from Nanjing, and I still have to see the highest peak in Jiangsu. Then I walked to Shuilian Cave, and then took the bus down the mountain at 16:00. The scenery is pretty good, but it was foggy and I couldn't see the sea. I met little monkeys on the way, they were quite fierce. I bought peanuts for them, but they went straight to me and snatched a little bread from my daughter. My daughter is only two years old, but fortunately I was prepared in advance, it was scary. Then I walked with everyone. It was quite cool inside Shuilian Cave, be careful of hitting your head on the rocks.

I wrote this on the way back from Liandao. I'm in the car with five friends. To be honest, the whole Lianyungang, not just Liandao, is full of false propaganda. The Flower-Fruit Mountain is disgusting. You can make up a story with any broken stone. The Jade Maiden Peak is not as beautiful as the wild mountains outside. There is garbage everywhere. There are only three or four monkeys. The whole scenic area is fake, big and empty. 90% of it is man-made landscape, and it's so low-class. I really don't want to swear, but I can't help it.

If I give Huaguoshan 3 points (out of 10 points), let me talk about Liandao. I give Liandao -10 points, it is really no exaggeration. Dashawan Bathing Beach, the ticket is 50, Qingdao has five or six beach bathing beaches, all free! The water quality is good, the beach is large, and the sand is fine. This Lianyungang Dashawan is not only dirty, but also has coarse sand, and it is charged! ! The beach is charged? ! Are you crazy because of poverty in Lianyungang? ? The scenery is bad, but here comes the point. The names of the hotels on the island are awesome, such as Five-Star Inn, First Seaview Villa, and Deluxe Seaview King Room. But when I went there, I found that it was not a sea view at all... The villas are even more fake, they are obviously dormitories... They are not even guest houses... If Home Inn is 3 points, I will give -10 points to the hotels on the island. All the hotels on the island are the same. The lobby is shabby and there is no decoration, just like the arrangement of high school dormitories. The big green security door is the door to each room. There is rust on the door handle. There is no door card. The door is opened with a rusty key. When you open the door and go in, you will see furniture from the 1990s, a color TV from 20 years ago, no hot water in the bathroom, the air conditioner is 15 years old, the light switch is loose, and there are ants on the ground where I live on the third floor. The bedding is damp. To be honest, I have traveled all over the country for so many years and have never seen such a disgusting hotel. It is not that I encountered this situation personally, nor that the individual hotels I chose are bad, but that all the hotels on this island are like this. The front desk of the hotel is full of little hooligans wearing tight pants and moccasins. Can such people be waiters? If you really want to come, stay in a chain hotel. But I tell you, the whole Lianyungang is not worth coming. Don't come. Don't waste your time and money. This place is really unforgettable for me. Too unforgettable. If you really want to see the sea and the mountains, go farther, drive two more hours, and go to Qingdao.

Huaguoshan, a place about myths and stories, a place related to monkeys. As the only scenic spot in Lianyungang, it is worth a visit. It was off-season when I went there, and it had just snowed, so the road was slippery, which affected the overall experience. In short, it was pretty good.

The highest peak in Jiangsu is Huaguo Mountain. We climbed it for half a day. Also, the monkeys here are really good at snatching food...

We went there on October 2nd. There were so many people. Before we went, we were worried that monkeys would snatch our food and water. But we only saw a few monkeys from a distance and they didn't come close to us. Maybe they were scared by the crowds.



I bought the ticket on Meituan, the ticket price was 90+60 for the rafting, which was a total of 150. If I bought the tickets separately at the scenic spot, the ticket price would be 100, and the rafting would be 140, which is much cheaper.



But I really don't recommend rafting. It's okay in the summer, but the water is very cold in the winter. If you get soaked, the kayak has holes that will let water in, so you sit in the water. They also ask you to buy a series of additional things such as raincoats, towels, underwear, pants, slippers, etc. It's not worth it. But it's very exciting~

The restaurants in Huaguoshan are very rip-offs. The Huaguoshan Farmhouse Restaurant opposite the Huaguoshan Hotel charges 60 yuan for a pound of leek dumplings! Ten times more expensive! There is an old woman soliciting customers in front of the gate of Huaguoshan. She is sweet-mouthed but has a vicious heart! Under the guise of free parking and cheap meals, she will take you to a farmhouse 150 meters away from the gate to eat, and ask you to pay a deposit! Otherwise, the car will not be allowed to leave, and the food is ridiculously expensive!

I went there in July 2014. I took the cable car up the mountain and then walked down by myself. The view of Lianyungang city from the top of the mountain was very good. I also saw monkeys and deer. There were many people in the Water Curtain Cave.

Those who come here to play are probably all fans of Sun Wukong. Almost every child, male or female, has a golden hoop in his hand. The cheapest one costs 5 yuan, and the most expensive one costs 15 yuan. You can play with it at ordinary times, and it becomes a hiking stick when you go up the mountain. If you don't want to walk, you can choose to take a minibus in the scenic area. The ticket is 100 yuan per person. On the way in, there are many vendors on the roadside selling Monkey King's golden hoop and hoop. When we got to the middle of the mountain, we took the high mountain zipline, which was 51 people. There is a statue of a jade girl on the top of the mountain. Water Curtain Cave, generally do not go back, there are really stone chairs, stone tables, stone benches, stone beds, and it is very cool.

The scenery is picturesque. It is not easy to climb the Yunv Peak. There are many trees on the mountain, the air is fresh, and the scenery is beautiful. I was tired after going down the mountain, so I took a car down. I heard that there is an art gallery at the foot of the mountain, so I went to see it. It seems to be called the art gallery with the theme of Journey to the West. The scenes inside are very beautiful.

I took my kids to Huaguo Mountain today and it was a rip off. There was nothing on the mountain except for the Jade Girl Cave and the Water Curtain Cave. I don't recommend going there. There is only one mountain and many attractions. There are too many commercial things for sale. There are only a few monkeys. It's so-so.

I walked back to the cable car station and took the cable car to Yunv Peak. Yunv Peak is the highest peak in Jiangsu Province. The inscription on the edge of the 624.4-meter cliff met a monkey mother with a baby monkey in her arms, but it seemed that there were not many monkeys on Huaguo Mountain. Along the way, I saw many dirty and messy vendors and some vendors holding some broken sticks, "golden hoop sticks" that cost one yuan or five yuan each! There are no attractions throughout the whole journey. You can go to the top by car. You can imagine what kind of mountain it is. It is similar to walking on the street, but much more tiring. Because there are no attractions, it is just exercising. You can't use Alipay or WeChat when riding in a car, only cash. The car is short of two people. A car of people waited for half an hour at the pick-up point halfway. What kind of service is this? In fact, the only competent thing here is the winding mountain road, which is for the car to pull people. I give it to friends from other places for reference! ! The experience is extremely bad. There is also a golden hoop sold at the entrance for around 10 yuan, which might be a little better if you buy it directly. On the mountainside, someone sells two for 5 yuan, which are two bamboos wrapped in plastic paper. . . . Of course, for adults, it is still very cost-effective to use it as a hiking stick, after all, the mountain road is really a bit congested. . .

I drove from Tianjin to Jiangsu and Zhejiang in July 2017. I played there for two days. There are many monkeys in Huaguo Mountain, and the most are in Shuilian Cave. The consumption level of the scenic spot is not high. The big peaches cost 10 yuan for 3, which are very big and sweet. Because there are elderly people, we took the battery car up the mountain, walked down to the Shuilian Cave from the top of the mountain. There is a country overseas called Aolai. It is close to the sea, and in the sea there is a famous mountain called Huaguo Mountain. If the scenery is not enough, Monkey King will come to make it better.

Who knew that the Water Curtain Cave was on the top of the mountain, and the signboard was not accurate. I ran around and couldn’t find it. Finally, I found it, which was very disappointing. Because of the National Day, people were crowded and didn’t go in. I heard from my son that there was nothing inside, garbage was everywhere, and tourists threw raincoats, cigarette butts, etc. The whole trip was just climbing stairs. Huaguoshan Water Curtain Cave is not the one on TV at all. You know that you come here for the famous name, thousands of miles away, and it’s the National Day, so you can’t call it the famous name in the future. It has been removed from my heart. Whether anyone sprays me or not, this is how I feel. You have to park your car in the parking lot. Some women outside the door will enthusiastically ask you to park your car and tell you that it will cost you 50 yuan inside, but they only want 30 yuan. It's all a rip-off. There is enough parking space inside and it only costs 15 yuan. It's far from the scenic spot. If you park in the wrong place, you will be in trouble.

The senior brothers are not afraid of people and will take the initiative to ask for food. Please pay attention to children and be careful not to get scratched.

The reputation is greater than the reality!

I feel that the only things worth seeing are the monkeys. If you want to go to Mount Emei to see monkeys, you don’t have to go so far. Haha.

After buying a ticket at the gate and entering the mountain, there are many tour guides at the bus stop in front who recommend a fee of 200 yuan. It is recommended to buy a ticket to the top of the mountain, Yunu Peak, for 25 yuan, and then walk down. If you are lucky, you should be able to see monkeys. When you pass the Water Curtain Cave, you can go to the station and buy a ticket to go down the mountain for 20 yuan. This way each person can save 55 yuan and 200 yuan in tour guide fees.

Huaguo Mountain, the hometown of the Monkey King, no longer had any trace of the Monkey King. However, his minions were still there. Personally, I think the most worthwhile place to visit in Huaguo Mountain is the Jade Maiden Peak, which has beautiful scenery. As for the Water Curtain Cave and other things, they are really just for fun. There are not many monkeys on the mountain now, and it is rare to see them.

I don't know why some private cars can go up the mountain, but ours can't. But I suggest that even if you can go up the mountain, you should still take the park car. After all, some mountain roads are difficult to drive.

It is recommended to take the shuttle bus into the scenic area. You can walk down the mountain. The altitude is not very high. You will encounter monkeys on the way. The water curtain cave of Monkey King is not as magnificent as imagined, haha

I went to Huaguo Mountain because of the name related to Journey to the West - Sun Wukong. If you can't get around this complex, you can go. Although there are monkeys, Water Curtain Cave, Sanyuan Palace, Seventy-two Caves... but they seem to have nothing to do with Journey to the West, and most of them are traces of man-made. The scenery on the mountain is average. It is said that if you hike up the mountain, it will take at least 3-4 hours. Tourists who come here probably won't spend so much time climbing the mountain. So, you can also take a car to the mountain at your own expense. It costs 25 yuan/person to go directly to the top - Yunv Peak, and 15 yuan/person to go directly to Water Curtain Cave. It takes about half an hour to walk from Water Curtain Cave to Yunv Peak. Because I brought a 2-year-old child, I chose to take a car to Yunv Peak, then walk to Water Curtain Cave, and finally walk to Sanyuan Palace to take a car down the mountain. You can also take a ropeway or cable car down the mountain. The price of the ropeway or cable car seems to be 80-90 yuan/person.

There is a statue of a jade girl on the top of the Yunv Peak. Apart from that, you can walk for 2-3 minutes to reach the highest point. There is a small Bagua Pavilion on the way. There are large stones piled up at the highest point. Tourists can climb up to see the scenery. There is a monkey trainer who provides monkeys for you to take pictures. It costs 10 yuan per time. There are also several small scenes around the Yunv Peak. You can take a look around.

Although Huaguo Mountain is in the city, it is so famous that we have to go up the mountain early to avoid seeing more people than scenery. We arrived at the parking lot at the foot of the mountain before 8:30. Due to the schedule, it is impossible to spend a day in Huaguo Mountain. We took a minibus to the scenic area and a cable car. The minibus went to Sanyuan Palace, then walked to Shuilian Cave, passed the 72 caves, saw the stone eggs of Monkey King, and paid homage to Maogong Ti. We took the cable car up to the sky and arrived at Jade Goddess Peak. It was a pity that the mist was steaming and the view from a distance was boring! I was facing the sea, but I didn’t know the true face of the Dragon King!

The two places I am most looking forward to during this trip to Lianyungang are: Liandao and Huaguoshan.

We drove to Huaguo Mountain early on Sunday morning. Tickets are 100 yuan per person, and ropeway, cable car, rafting and paragliding are all charged separately. There are many tour guides at the entrance. If there are many people, you can consider hiring one, so that you can listen to the explanation and avoid taking the wrong route. It is recommended to buy a "golden hoop stick" and it would be easier to climb the mountain. There are monkeys everywhere on the mountain, on the trees and underground, adding a bit of vitality and aura to Huaguo Mountain. You can also take photos with the monkeys (10 yuan/person), but the monkeys are hung with iron chains, and the vendors whip them with small whips from time to time, which is extremely pitiful. I despise the monkeys who are lectured for the purpose of profit. I just want to say here that there is no harm without buying and selling, and it is not recommended to give these bad vendors an opportunity! ! From Shuiliandong, take the cable car directly to the highest peak in Jiangsu---Yunv Peak, which is worth a visit. The towering mountain, standing on it is like walking in the sea of ​​clouds, full of fairy spirit, looking around, a vast land of beautiful rivers and mountains is at my feet! ! Huaguo Mountain is the "old house" of the Monkey King Sun Wukong in Journey to the West. The dark grey sculpture at the entrance shows the four masters and apprentices and the white dragon horse going to the West to seek Buddhist scriptures. As the saying goes--the road is long and arduous, I will search up and down.

Huaguo Mountain should be a symbol of Lianyungang, the birthplace of Sun Wukong. The highest point, Yunu Peak, is 625 meters above sea level, the highest peak in Jiangsu Province. The scenery is beautiful and the scenic area is very large. If you walk the whole way, it will take at least 7 hours. It takes at least 3 to 4 hours to take a bus up the mountain and walk down the mountain. The monkeys in the scenic area are not afraid of people and will not actively attack people, but be careful not to eat in front of the monkeys, otherwise they will be snatched away by the monkeys.

In July, I drove to Lianyungang with my family and children. Although the weather was hot, everyone had a lot of fun. I especially want to mention that the rafting in Huaguoshan was very exciting. It was quite special among the raftings I had played. People under 12 years old and over 60 years old were not allowed to play. Several children were not happy. After we played it ourselves, we realized that it was indeed not suitable for the elderly and children.

There is a serious shortage of toilets!!! There are too few and they are not fully open, so going to the toilet is a problem!!!

I passed by Lianyungang on the 28th and went there on purpose. Although the 🐒 is more fun, the Lianyungang Huaguoshan scenic spot is really a rip-off! There is nothing to see in the scenery. The ticket price is 50 yuan in the off-season, 25 yuan for the car to go up the mountain, 25 yuan for going down the mountain, 100 yuan for the tour guide, 15 yuan for parking, various photo charges, and feeding charges! How many people are fed by this group of 🐒? People are always smarter than monkeys! The ticket price on the 29th is 100 yuan. They are still striving to create 5A. The Flower and Fruit Mountain in Lianyungang is generally worth a visit. The filming location of Journey to the West was here. Wukong and Bajie will take photos with you at the entrance (about 20 yuan per photo). We took a sightseeing bus up the mountain. It was green and lush, and it felt good. There are little monkeys next to the Water Curtain Cave to take photos with you (about 20 yuan per photo).

The monkeys' hometown, took two small transportations and two cable cars. If you just climb by yourself, it will be very tiring. The feeling of taking the cable car to see the scenery is incomparable. The little monkeys are all over Huaguo Mountain, mainly on the top of the mountain. Be careful, don't provoke them. If you are scratched, you have to take the thermos bottle back, which contains vaccines. During the Spring Festival, when there are many people, there is really a long queue at the entrance, so it is recommended to go early in the peak season. We arrived there at 8 o'clock, so we felt very good after leaving at 1 o'clock in the afternoon. People who came later were about to rush out, and we couldn't feel the feeling of riding the small transportation to gallop and turn.

When we mention Huaguo Mountain, the first thing that comes to our mind is Sun Wukong. Yes, Lianyungang Huaguo Mountain is also the world of monkeys, and the monkeys here are very fierce. The tour guide reminded us many times not to take things out of the bag or eat in front of the monkeys, and even not to let them see you drinking water, they will snatch it from you. Apart from the monkeys, the scenery is still very good.

Although the reviews are average, we drove there during the off-peak season and there weren't many people. It takes about 10 minutes to walk in from the main entrance. The sightseeing bus costs 25 yuan to the Jade Maiden Peak, and it takes half an hour to walk down the mountain to the Water Curtain Cave, but it's much easier than climbing a mountain. The Water Curtain Cave is a water curtain plus a cave. Haha, I went in with an umbrella and my clothes and shoes got wet. After passing through, I couldn't find a place to take the sightseeing bus, so I continued to walk to the Sanyuan Palace. I saw a lot of little monkeys along the way. They weren't fierce or afraid of people. It was fun to hide and watch. The kids liked it. It took about three hours to walk down the mountain by car. I bought a golden hoop for the kids~

The most interesting attraction is Water Curtain Cave, and the most boring attraction is Strange Stone Garden, which has too many artificial elements! In general, Lianyungang and Huaguo Mountain are not worth a special trip, but it is okay to take a look along the way. Not recommended!

Mentioning Lianyungang, everyone will naturally think of Huaguo Mountain, which costs 50 yuan in the off-season and 100 yuan in the peak season.
