The Confucius Temple-Qinhuai Scenic Belt is a national AAAAA-level tourist area that integrates natural scenery, landscape gardens, temples and schools, street dwellings, and local customs. The scenic area is centered on the Confucius Temple ancient building complex, with the Qinhuai River within ten miles as the axis, starting from Dongshuiguan Park in the east and ending at Xishuiguan Park (now Shuixi Gate) in the west.
Nanjing Confucius Temple is located on Gongyuan Street on the north bank of Qinhuai River in Qinhuai District, Nanjing, and west of Jiangnan Gongyuan. It is the place where Confucius is worshipped, the first national highest institution of learning in China, and one of the four major Confucian temples in China. It is the hub of ancient Chinese culture and a gathering place of Jinling history and culture. It was not only the cultural and educational center of Nanjing in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, but also the cultural and educational building complex that ranks first among the southeastern provinces. It is now an important part of the Confucius Temple Qinhuai Scenic Belt.
Qinhuai River is the "mother river" of Nanjing and the cradle of ancient Jinling culture. The Qinhuai River is five kilometers long and is known as the "Ten-mile Qinhuai". It is also the essence of the Confucius Temple-Qinhuai Scenic Belt.
Boating on Qinhuai River, the first historical and cultural river in China, has become a unique tourism brand in Nanjing. "Night mooring at Qinhuai" is even known as a classic water tour in Nanjing.

There were so many people, more than I could imagine! Especially at night, it was so crowded that I couldn't leave!
But the scenery is still good. The Qinhuai River is lit up at night, which is very beautiful! I don't think there is much to see in the Confucius Temple. If you want to take pictures of the Qinhuai River at night, I suggest buying a ticket to the Jiangnan Gongyuan, which seems to be 30 yuan per ticket. There are not many people going inside. It is very good to take pictures of the Qinhuai River at night along the Qinhuai River. It is not recommended to take a cruise. You have to queue for about 2 hours just to see the scenery on the water, and there are mosquitoes! Jiangnan Gongyuan is worth recommending. There is no manual ticket sales at night, self-service ticket purchase, and WeChat is supported (Alipay does not seem to be supported). There are some introductions to the previous imperial examinations. There are not many people, but it is very good for taking pictures.
Confucius Temple Qinhuai River Scenic Belt, this is one of the most prosperous places in Nanjing, a free 5A scenic spot. Here you can not only see the historical buildings of the ancient capital Nanjing, but also eat the most authentic Qinhuai snacks. Go deep into the streets or go boating on the Qinhuai River to experience the local customs and customs of the riverside from different perspectives. Liu Yuxi's "Wuyi Lane" is about this. Personally, I think the ancient buildings have a strong atmosphere and are a bit commercialized. In addition to Confucius Temple, there are also "Jinling No. 1 Garden" Zhanyuan, the largest imperial examination venue in ancient China, Jiangnan Gongyuan, the former residence of Li Xiangjun, a legendary figure of the "Peach Blossom Fan" in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, Wuyi Lane, the former residence of the Eastern Jin nobles Wang Dao and Xie An, Bailuzhou Park, the private garden of Xu Da, a founding hero of the Ming Dynasty, the world's largest urn Zhonghua Gate, and the former residence of Wu Jingzi, the author of "The Scholars". This area is full of teahouses, restaurants, and street snacks, among which the "Eight Wonders of Qinhuai" are worth a try. About shopping: There are all kinds of shops selling both traditional souvenirs and fashionable gadgets. You can pick some reasonably priced ones as souvenirs.
You can go for a stroll. After all, the Qinhuai River is so famous. You can think of the relevant poems while strolling. It is definitely a commercial street. It is more like a pedestrian street. It is recommended to stay nearby at night and stroll around the night view to make it convenient to go back.
It is quite close to Zhonghua Gate. It is recommended to go to Zhonghua Gate in the afternoon and then to Qinhuai River in the evening. The most worthwhile attraction is Jiangnan Gongyuan, which is the Imperial Examination Museum. The ticket is 70. Jiangnan Gongyuan is divided into two courtyards. The tickets are connected, on both sides. The museum is more digital and has a strong sense of technology. After visiting it, you will deepen your understanding of the imperial examination system and feel that it is worth the price. The other courtyard is very small and it feels not very visitable. I didn't go to Confucius Temple, so I won't comment on it. It is also quite close to Laomendong, which is more literary.
"The Qinhuai River is ten miles long and full of gold and powder from the Six Dynasties." If you walk around the whole place, it may not be more pleasant than going around the West Lake for a whole trip, so taking a pleasure boat is the best choice for sightseeing.
Since it is a land of gold and powder, the night view must be the first choice for boat tours, the so-called "night tour of Qinhuai" is also~
The history and stories of the ancient capital of Nanjing are told on both sides of the Qinhuai River, and many real scenes are set up accordingly. I won’t go into the specific order and characteristics of the explanation. Originally, the banks of the Qinhuai River were full of student dormitories and hair salons in ancient times. They had to force all the allusions here to create an extremely rich humanities and history. It’s funny to think about it~
The scenery is beautiful, there is no doubt about that. There may not be a queue during the peak season, so if you want to visit, try to choose the off-season or weekday nights.
Qinhuai River is a romantic place in ancient China. Many ancient poems are related to Qinhuai River! Mists shroud the cold water and the moon shrouds the sands; I moor at Qinhuai River near a tavern at night; there are wild grass and flowers beside Zhuque Bridge, and the setting sun is slanting at the entrance of Wuyi Lane; Qinhuai River is a place where many elegant women and suave literati have left countless legends. Qinhuai River is probably a dream of Jinling!
So you must take a cruise on the Qinhuai River when you come here, cruise on the Qinhuai River at night, and sit on the painted boat. There will be a broadcast introducing the former residences of celebrities on both sides of the Qinhuai River, and strange stories. You can imagine the past of feasting and revelry here... (The boat ticket is 80 yuan per person for individual passengers, and you can also charter the boat, which will be much more expensive!)
Here is also the most famous Jiangnan Gongyuan, which is the largest imperial examination venue in ancient China. Many people who went through the imperial examination and later achieved certain achievements came out of here. There is also a China Imperial Examination Museum, which can be visited together with the Jiangnan Gongyuan. I did not visit these two places this time, I will visit them when I bring Lele with me in the future!
There are many tourists in Confucius Temple and Qinhuai River. There are many shops on both sides of the river. Salted duck, osmanthus cake, roasted duck intestines, stinky tofu, etc. In addition to Nanjing's special snacks, most of the food streets in China have common foods. After eating some, I think the iron plate duck intestines are not bad! There are also many shops selling clothes and small gifts. The decoration is very distinctive. It's good to have time to see it. I found a shop, Qinhuai Gifts, which is very large. There are many Jinling specialties, Yuhua Stone, tea, salted duck, cakes, and some very distinctive and exquisitely made gadgets, refrigerator magnets, pencil cases, fans, etc., especially the cartoon version of the Qinhuai Eight Beauties and other small gifts with character shapes, which are very cute. Of course, the price is more expensive than other places.
The Qinhuai River is a place in the south of the Yangtze River where people linger.
Free 5A scenic spot, beautiful but not delicious. For food, go to Laomendong, where you can sit in a painted boat and enjoy yourself. There is a lantern festival on the Lantern Festival, which can basically squeeze out the shit. The local lotus lanterns are more beautiful (I watched the 18-year-old promotional video and posted it with a screenshot), but the others cannot compare with other city lantern shows. There are so many attractions in this area. Get off at Zhonghuamen, one bus stop to Da Baoen Temple, cross Changgan Bridge and you will reach Zhonghuamen Castle. Along the Qinhuai River are Changganli and Laomendong. Go directly from Laomendong to Pipa Lane for 15 minutes to Confucius Temple. After coming out, go left to Zhanyuan Sanshan Street subway station, and right to Taoyedu Bailuzhou Park. Inside Confucius Temple, cross Wende Bridge. You can enter the former residence of Li Xiangjun for free by swiping the Nanjing Garden Card. In Wuyi Lane, you can also swipe the card to enter the Wang Dao and Xie An Memorial Hall. Confucius Temple Jiangnan Gongyuan charges money. I don't know when it will be included in the electronic garden card.
Wild grass and flowers beside Zhuque Bridge, sunset at the entrance of Wuyi Lane! A poem is perfect to describe the Confucius Temple in Nanjing that I saw~ Qinhuai Night Mooring~ The merchant woman does not know the hatred of the country's demise, and still sings the back garden flower across the river! The precipitation of history! The Qinhuai River at night is dimly lit and crowded, but now it is very commercialized~ Modern shops are everywhere on the street~ Just take a quick look! The plum blossom cake in Figure 5 really makes me greedy just by looking at it. I bought it for five yuan a piece and ate it. The taste is sticky and light. Friends who like to eat glutinous food should not miss it! Nanjing's duck blood vermicelli soup is really delicious. I eat a bowl almost every day. Five stars are recommended. People who have been in big cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen for a long time will feel that although Nanjing is a provincial capital of Jiangsu, its commercial development is relatively backward when they come to Nanjing for the first time. It has such a cruel history that this city needs to heal slowly and then rise~
We wanted to have lunch at a Nanjing food stall, but there were too many people waiting for a table. We were on a tour group and had limited time, so we decided to try some Nanjing food at Wang Shunxing Snack City.
But we were very disappointed with a crab soup dumpling. A dumpling cost 20 yuan, which is not expensive, but the dough was raw, the dumpling was not cooked, and there was only some meat in the stuffing, but no trace of crab. I think Qinhuai Fenguang is not bad, but I can't say it's good for eating!
The Confucius Temple Qinhuai Scenic Belt is located in Qinhuai District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province. With the Confucius Temple as the core, the Ten-Li Qinhuai River as the axis, and the Ming City Wall as the link, it connects many national key cultural relics protection units, provincial and municipal cultural relics protection units, and integrates Confucianism, imperial examination culture, folk culture, etc. It integrates tourism, food shopping, science education, festival culture and other functions. It is a place where Nanjing's history and culture converge. The Confucius Temple Qinhuai Scenic Belt is rich in history and culture, and the Confucius Temple snacks are ranked first among the four major snacks in China.
The scenery of Qinhuai is different during the day and at night. During the day, it is a typical southern style building with white walls. At night, when the lights along the river are on, the characteristics of the Qinhuai scenery are very prominent. We stayed in Confucius Temple. When it was just dawn, there were almost no tourists. There was no noise during the day and night, and it was very quiet. It is recommended to go before dark, so that you can feel the different feelings before and after the lights are on. Go and experience it yourself.
I have done a lot of research on Confucius Temple, but I was very disappointed this time. The Confucius Temple travel guide says it is free, but the actual fee is 30 yuan, and the objects displayed inside are not attractive. From the Spring and Autumn Period to Daoguang, there are very few descriptions of each dynasty, and there are too many commercial effects. It is more commercial than Chunxi Road and Kuanzhai Alley. I personally do not recommend going there.
Nanjing Confucius Temple is located at No. 152 Gongyuan Street, Qinhuai District, Nanjing. It was built in 1034 (the first year of Song Jingyou). Confucius Temple is known as the Qinhuai scenic spot and has become a characteristic landscape area of the ancient capital Nanjing. It is one of the largest traditional ancient streets in China. The stone tablet with five big characters "Nanjing Confucius Temple" engraved on it is a statue of Confucius. Nanjing Confucius Temple is one of the four largest Confucius Temples in China. On Dachengdian Road, there is a 6-meter-high portrait of Confucius, which is said to be the largest in the country.
I went there on an ordinary weekend night in early December. It was very crowded and lively, and the night view was quite nice. There were a lot of snacks, fried chestnuts cost about 30 yuan per pound, they were big and golden; various candied haws looked very appetizing; there were also various crispy biscuits and meat jerky shops, such as "Sanwei Suwu" and "Yifengqingsu". You can try whatever you want in the store, and the store can help with express delivery after you buy something, so each store is very popular and the price is a little expensive. Anyway, it is a commercial street + food street, so you can still go shopping.
The Nanjing Confucius Temple Qinhuai Scenic Belt is located in the south of Nanjing. It is centered on the Confucius Temple ancient building complex, with the ten-mile Qinhuai as the axis and the Ming City Wall as the link. It starts from the Qinhuai Water Pavilion at Huaiqing Bridge in the east of Dongshuiguan, crosses the Wende Bridge, and extends to the inner Qinhuai River area at Xishuiguan, including the streets and lanes on both sides of the Qinhuai River, residential houses, nearby historical sites and scenic spots. It is based on Confucianism, imperial examination culture, folk culture, etc., and integrates natural scenery, landscape gardens, temples and schools, street houses, local customs, food shopping, science education, and festival culture. It is a gathering place for Nanjing's history and culture and the most prosperous place in Nanjing.
To be honest, I am disappointed. I think this place is for outsiders. 95% of them are outsiders and the remaining 5% are merchants. Locals probably won't come here. The shops along the street are too traditional and commercialized. They are all tourism products, and the tourism products in the country are all the same. Some shops have customized cultural and creative products from Nanjing, which are quite cute. I bought a refrigerator magnet here as a souvenir.
There are many paid scenic spots hidden in this area, all of which are museums and require admission fees.
Suggestions for travel: The entire scenic belt is very large, with attractions such as the China Imperial Examination Museum, Zhanyuan Garden, and Wuyi Lane. If you want to visit all the attractions, it is recommended to take a whole day.
Tickets: There is no ticket for the Confucius Temple Qinhuai Scenic Area itself, but tickets are required to visit other attractions. Specific prices can be found on the official website or online travel platforms.
The Qinhuai River at night has a special flavor. Standing on the bridge, you can see the antique sightseeing boats coming and going. The Confucius Temple area in the Six Dynasties was very prosperous, with the Imperial Examination Hall, the mansions of the rich and powerful, and the restaurants and teahouses with people coming and going... The Confucius Temple area in the late Qing Dynasty has lost its former charm. With the change of times, it has witnessed the passionate and generous speeches of Dr. Sun Yat-sen when the Republic of China was first established. Today, as the most prosperous tourist attraction in Nanjing, the Confucius Temple Qinhuai Scenic Belt is still worth a visit. Walking along the river bank, you can always find the elegance and prosperity of Jinling in the old days. When the moon rises, the unique roof tiles of the buildings add some ancient charm to the night. The Qinhuai River in the daytime is not as lively as at night, so just watch the tourists coming and going.

Qinhuai River is the cradle of Nanjing's ancient civilization and the mother river of Nanjing. It is extremely famous in history. It is known as "the place of smoke and moon in the Six Dynasties, the place where gold and powder gather", and it has been a prosperous place for ten generations. "Its clothing and cultural relics are the most prosperous in the south of the Yangtze River, and its literary talent and elegance are the best in the country." It is known as "China's first historical and cultural river."
Confucius Temple is one of the four major Confucian temples in China. It is the cultural hub of the Jiangnan region in ancient China and a gathering place of Jinling’s history and culture. It was not only the cultural and educational center of Nanjing during the Ming and Qing dynasties, but also the largest cultural and educational building complex in the southeastern provinces and the largest traditional ancient street market in China.
The Confucius Temple Qinhuai Scenic Belt is rich in history and culture. Confucius Temple snacks are ranked first among the four major snacks in China. The Confucius Temple Lantern Festival held every year from the Spring Festival to the Lantern Festival is on the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list and is also the most famous lantern festival in China, attracting countless friends to enjoy the lanterns and spend the holidays together. It has a strong local flavor and cultural atmosphere.
There are so many people, and the commercial atmosphere is very strong. In comparison, I like Lao Mendong!!!
As soon as you step into the pedestrian street, it feels like you have entered a vivid long scroll of the city. Under your feet is a bluestone road, which has been polished by time to be smooth and warm. Every step you take makes a crisp sound, as if playing a piece of music that interweaves the ancient and the modern. On both sides of the street, all kinds of antique buildings are scattered in an orderly manner, with flying eaves, carved doors and windows, all of which show the elegant temperament of the ancient capital of Jinling. These buildings are like old people who have experienced vicissitudes of life, silently witnessing the flow of time, but because of the hustle and bustle of the streets and alleys, they are full of different vitality.
This is my second time to Confucius Temple, and I have a slightly contradictory feeling. The night view of Qinhuai River is indeed stunning, but the dense spotlights on the shore and the commentary on the cruise ship speakers have somewhat destroyed the poetic feeling. Although the ancient buildings such as Dacheng Hall are well preserved, the over-renovated paint has reduced the sense of history, making it look more like an antique set of a film and television base.
The biggest complaint is the snack street. The duck blood vermicelli soup is as bland as hot pot water. The crab roe soup dumplings are priced at 25 yuan each but they don't taste the freshness of crab. All the shops are playing Douyin's hit songs to attract business. The mixed smell of fried food and tourists' sweat is not a pleasant experience. The only bright spot is the cultural and creative ice cream at the entrance of Wuyi Lane, which is unique in shape and suitable for taking pictures.
Shopping, 3 salted ducks for 100 yuan, free packaging and delivery to your home, do you dare to buy it? Check-in photos are basically headshots, and photos with the head held above the head are all heads, no scenery.
The commercial street is completely trapped in a homogenization cycle. Every three steps, there is a salted duck vacuum packaging store, and every five steps, there is a Hanfu rental stall. The same products are sold in Yiwu as in ancient towns across the country. If you want to experience the ancient charm of Jinling, it is recommended to come early in the morning before the tourists arrive. You may find the remaining historical fragments by avoiding the crowds. In general, this place is more suitable for tour groups to check in, not for in-depth experience
It was the first day of the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, and the whole Zhou Xun: There are so many people.JPG, passing by Zhanyuan, which is also the Nanjing Museum and the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom History Museum. You can visit it at night, but the ticket price is 30 yuan. The Confucius Temple was originally dedicated to Confucius, and it is also open at night. The ticket price is 30 yuan, which is again very high. Outside the Lingxing Gate is the Qinhuai Wharf for night tours. On the bridge next to it, you can take pictures of the large screen wall with two dragons playing with pearls. It is crowded. After crossing the bridge, I found that there is Wuyi Lane where Liu Yuxi left the famous sentence "In the old days, the swallows flew into the homes of ordinary people in front of the Wang and Xie halls". It turns out that this is the hometown of historical celebrities such as Wang Xizhi, Xie An, and Xie Daoyun. There is also the China Imperial Examination Museum in the scenic area, which is divided into two parts by the street. The north part is underground. No wonder I was confused when I saw it, why there is only an empty small square, which is also open for night tours and charges tickets, but I didn’t enter.
I went to Nanjing for transit on September 18th. I used the 20-hour transit time to enjoy the night view of Confucius Temple and Qinhuai River and visit the Presidential Palace. Since Nanjing is not the destination of our event, I will just post a few photos to show my appreciation.
Confucius Temple is a large-scale ancient building complex, mainly composed of the Confucius Temple, the Imperial Academy, and the Imperial Examination Hall, covering a large area. There are buildings such as the screen wall, the Pan Pond, the memorial archway, the Juxing Pavilion, the Kuixing Pavilion, the Lingxing Gate, the Dacheng Hall, the Mingde Hall, and the Zunjing Pavilion. Confucius Temple is known as a Qinhuai scenic spot and has become a characteristic landscape area in the ancient capital of Nanjing. From the Six Dynasties to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, many aristocratic families gathered nearby, so there is a saying of "Six Dynasties Gold Powder". It is the largest traditional ancient street market in China, and is one of the four busiest markets in China along with Shanghai City God Temple, Suzhou Xuanmiao Temple, and Beijing Tianqiao.
Special Forces soldiers enthusiastically check in at popular spots
We just wanted to take a look at the night view of Qinhuai River.
But it's too early.
And turned a circle
No desire to stay
I quickly escaped from the crowd.
The night view is pretty good. There are various lights on the riverside. There are many snack streets around, many small shops selling food and souvenirs, and the commercial atmosphere is a bit too strong.
I took my kids there on a weekend during the summer vacation. There were so many people, the cruise ships in the Qinhuai River were too dense, and there were many snack shops on both sides, which were worth a try. If you come to Nanjing and don't come to Confucius Temple, it would be a waste of your trip.
The Confucius Temple Qinhuai Scenic Area is located in Qinhuai District, Nanjing. It takes the Confucius Temple ancient building complex as the center, the ten-mile Qinhuai River as the axis, and the Ming City Wall as the link, connecting many national key cultural relics protection units, provincial and municipal cultural relics protection units.
During the Six Dynasties, the Confucius Temple area in Nanjing was already quite prosperous. Wuyi Lane, Zhuque Street, Taoye Ferry and other places were all inhabited by the noble families at that time. In the Ming Dynasty, Confucius Temple was the examination site of the Imperial College, where candidates gathered. Therefore, many service industries were concentrated here, including restaurants, teahouses, snacks, and brothels. On the Inner Qinhuai River, "the sound of oars and lights stretches for ten miles, and singing girls play on the muddy waves in flower boats" and "the sound of flutes and drums on painted boats continues day and night", which describes the prosperous scene on the Qinhuai River at that time.

The Qinhuai Sightseeing Belt is located along the Qinhuai River with the Confucius Temple as its center. It has been the cultural center of Nanjing since ancient times. It has many scenic spots, a large number of snacks, and countless former residences of celebrities.
I went there in 2005, and when I visited again in 2018, except for the Confucius Temple which is still there, everything else seemed to have changed a lot. There were a lot of people, and the atmosphere of the tourist attraction was stronger, so it was suitable for a leisurely stroll.
Qinhuai River is a tributary of the right bank of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River in China. It was called Longzangpu in ancient times, Huaishui in the Han Dynasty, and Qinhuai after the Tang Dynasty. Most of the Qinhuai River is in Nanjing. It is the largest regional river in Nanjing. It has played a role in shipping and irrigation in history. It gave birth to the ancient civilization of Nanjing and is known as the mother river of Nanjing. It is extremely famous in history and is known as "China's first historical and cultural river."
In front of the Confucius Temple is the central area of the Qinhuai River. People line up to buy boat tickets and wait for upload. There are so many people! The Shili Shantang cruise business in Suzhou is also so good. I see that the scenery on both sides of the Suzhou River is much better than theirs. Why can't our cruise ships operate? It may be that there is a problem with the location of our cruise ship terminals. They are all independent, while the terminals in Nanjing and Suzhou are in the lively central area of the scenic area, crowded with people, and the most important thing is popularity!
There was an opera performance on a boat in the river in front of the screen wall. It was a little far away, so the view was not very clear, but everyone was still willing to squeeze in to watch it.
The Confucius Temple is also open at night, and there are quite a lot of people coming in. Looking at the sign at the door, there are activities inside at night.
This place is known as "the place of smoke and moon in the Six Dynasties, where gold and powder gather", and it has been a prosperous place for ten generations. On one side is the rouge and powder of the Qinhuai River, and on the other side are the temples and halls for promoting talents.
"Ten miles of Qinhuai River, the gold and powder of the Six Dynasties" Half are talented men, half are beauties, one is an imperial examination hall, and one is fireworks.
The scenery at this time makes people fall into a dream. In the dream, a graceful woman stands on the bow. The endless darkness covers the powder on her body. Her willow-shaped eyebrows are like a pearl lost in the world. She sways her body slowly and sings softly to the sound of the zither...
When the night falls over the entire city, the cruise ships slowly approaching from afar light up one after another. The red, green and yellow lights are reflected on the calm river surface, exuding a charming and hazy charm that makes people intoxicated without knowing it...
I went there at night. There were many tourists. There were many shops and it was quite lively. It is said that the area around Confucius Temple has always been a commercial area, so it is not surprising. I took a pleasure boat and toured the Qinhuai River. It was quite nice. I listened to the radio and heard many historical allusions and stories of elegant scholars.
Snack City is also a small place to walk around and find food, but the duck blood vermicelli soup is still good. We found a shop opened by a local next to Wenyuan Bridge, and he introduced the local snacks to us.
After the epidemic, there are a lot of people in the more concentrated tourist attractions.
The 5A-level scenic spot is always crowded with people.
It is not far from Laomendong to Confucius Temple Pedestrian Street and you can walk there.
This area is very commercialized.
It gives people the feeling of debauchery, wine and women.
Just take a night scene to show the painted boat floating on the water, the sound of oars and the lights.
The light show at night is beautiful. The merchants are fair, clean and tidy.
We both have trouble visiting crowded tourist attractions, and I just wanted to see the night view of Qinhuai River, so I left quickly.
I think it is too commercial, I prefer Lao Mendong
This is the soul of Nanjing. If you don’t come here, it will be a lifelong regret.
The Confucius Temple Qinhuai Scenic Area is located in Qinhuai District, Nanjing. It is centered on the Confucius Temple ancient building complex and the Shili Qinhuai River is the axis. The night view is very beautiful.
During the Dragon Boat Festival, people lined up in long queues to take the boat...
It's a pedestrian street next to the Qinhuai River. Pedestrian streets all over the country are the same, and the snacks are the same.
Qinhuai River, a place full of history
The first stop in Nanjing was Confucius Temple, and then I had a bowl of duck blood vermicelli, which tasted average.
The night view of Nanjing Confucius Temple-Qinhuai Scenic Belt is breathtaking at night, even more beautiful than during the day.
An old temple, next to the Qinhuai River, you need to buy a ticket, I only looked at it from the outside
This place is definitely worth a visit, especially at night it is so beautiful
The traces of history are getting fewer and fewer, and the modern elements are inadvertently visible so you can't ignore them.
A very famous commercial street, the surrounding storefronts give me the feeling of a temple fair.
The Confucius Temple Qinhuai Scenic Belt is located in Qinhuai District, Nanjing. It takes Confucius Temple as its core and the Ten-Li Qinhuai River as its axis, connecting Dongshuiguan, Bailuzhou Park, Confucius Temple, Jiangnan Imperial Examination Hall, Zhanyuan, Zhonghuamen Castle, Jinling Manufacturing Bureau, Jinling Da Baoen Temple Ruins, Xishuiguan, Ming City Wall (Qinhuai Section) and the outer moat, including streets and lanes on both sides of the Qinhuai River, residential houses and nearby historical sites, covering an area of about 4.69 square kilometers.
The Confucius Temple Qinhuai Scenic Area features the "Ten Miles of Qinhuai", the Ming City Wall, and the Confucius Temple. It is based on Confucianism, imperial examination culture, folk culture, etc. It integrates tourism, food shopping, science education, festival culture and other functions. Commercial Street Food Street That's all
Each city has its own commercial street and food street
There's no difference. The only difference is that I've been there and you haven't.
I only had a quick glimpse of Qinhuai at night. In the morning, there were already many tourists who came for Nanjing Dapaidang. However, the good weather and good scenery gave me the feeling of a Jiangnan water town. It was very beautiful.
It should be said that it is a tourist landmark in Nanjing. You must come
Overall it's good. The night view is much better than the daytime. It costs 100 yuan to take a boat at night for 40 minutes. It's OK and very suitable for taking pictures.
Qinhuai River, a holy place for sightseeing, delicious food and beautiful scenery, is a place you must visit.
I went to listen to Wang Leehom's concert at the Olympic Sports Center on May 20th in 2018. I stayed at the Shuguangwei Hotel in Confucius Temple and there was a lot of food to eat.
Not as good as expected, it feels like a normal commercial street
Business is business! I bought my favorite windbreaker here.
I went there during the day, and the scenery was nothing special, just a commercial street. Maybe it would be more beautiful to see the bright lights and night life at night.
The Qinhuai River at night can really be described as beautiful!
Confucius Temple is the representative of Nanjing's food, with a collection of Nanjing's local snacks. In addition, every lantern festival is a beautiful sight worth seeing in Confucius Temple. Boating on the Qinhuai River, with small bridges, flowing water and people's houses, has a unique Qinhuai charm.
The night tour of Qinhuai River was during a heavy snowstorm, and there were many pedestrians on the road. In fact, it was not as interesting as the quiet night.
After eating the Qinhuai Eight Eccentrics, we went for a walk on the pedestrian street.
February 9, 2019 in Jinling, I can’t capture or describe your beauty
It was night when we arrived because there was a lantern festival on the fifth day of the Lunar New Year. There were many people, but it was very lively and the night view was beautiful.
I didn't visit for long, and it was nice to take some photos. It's still suitable for visiting with family.
It's quite lively during the Chinese New Year. There are lantern festivals, food, drinks and fun.
This area should be the most classic area of Qinhuai River. You should always visit it when you come to Nanjing.
You must take the night cruise on the Qinhuai River, it's really awesome. You can just look at the Confucius Temple from the outside. This is the top 1 tourist check-in place in Nanjing, and there are quite a lot of people. The street snacks and souvenirs are all available nationwide.
Beside Qinhuai River, in front of Confucius Temple, beautiful scenery and delicious food~
The white walls and black tiles of Confucius Temple add a touch of gentleness. Many people have heard of overnight mooring at Qinhuai River. I have also seen pictures of small bridges and flowing water at night, with red lanterns lit in every household. I know that the Qinhuai River in Confucius Temple is crowded with people at night in summer. As a result, I accidentally wandered around here. I came early, and the shops on both sides were not open yet. The snow on the black-sailed boats had not been cleared yet. There were icicles hanging upside down on the eaves on both sides, and the bare branches were covered with silver. It was really beautiful. Perhaps due to the heavy snow, there were few people near the scenic area, and even the voices were unconsciously low, for fear of disturbing this beauty.
The next morning, snow fell on the eaves, and the Qinhuai River became a painting.
"Night mooring at Qinhuai near the restaurant"
Now, there is no such heaviness, but there are still excellent views. In early September, it is still hot and humid during the day, and there are showers. It is a better choice to go shopping at night, and you can also take pictures of the night view.
The Confucius Temple area is quite large, and you can spend two hours just strolling around. I recommend going to the China Imperial Examination Museum, the underground museum is quite fresh and is open until 9 pm. You can also visit the Confucius Temple, which is also open at night. Both places require tickets, but it is very cheap if you have a student ID.
As for taking the boat... there were too many people. It took more than half an hour to wait. It was crowded and the boat was moving very fast, so I didn't take it.
Last but not least, I highly recommend Nanjing’s red bean dumplings!! Highlights!! Red bean dumplings!!
