Niu Shou Mountain is one of the four major Buddhist holy sites in China, enshrining the skull relic of Buddha Sakyamuni.

In the morning, I took a half-hour drive to reach the Niu Shou Mountain Scenic Area. The first holy place, the Buddha's Head Temple, was at the entrance of the mountain. I walked through the corridor and entered the hall. My heart could not help but become quiet, and I bowed and let go of the fetters of the world. I climbed to the top of the mountain and approached the Buddha's Head Pagoda. The modern Buddha's Head Pagoda and the Hongjue Temple Pagoda of the Ming Dynasty next to it have reappeared after a century. "Repairing the Heavenly Palace and Hiding the Underground Palace" built the Buddha's Head Palace, the core of the Niu Shou Holy Land. Walking into the interior, the ground part is a grand view of Zen. Wearing shoe covers, I walked into the underground palace and silently admired the Relic Hall. I was in the Thousand Buddha Hall and the Ten Thousand Buddha Corridor. I felt the insignificance of human beings in the rare shock. From the main hall to the underground, I walked into the ultimate destination of this trip, the Relics Hiding Palace. In the solemn and mysterious atmosphere, with a pious heart, I worshipped the Buddha's skull relic. For the first time, I felt that the Buddha was so close to us, but not far away. The flower offering ceremony began. The believers held lotus flowers in their hands and walked around the reclining Buddha in a clockwise circle, reciting Buddhist scriptures and praying for the Buddha's blessing. Tourists waiting for the performance also joined the believers. At the beginning of the performance, the Buddha slowly descended, and the lotus petals were accompanied by music, water mist, and lights. The Buddha slowly rose up, rising and falling, symbolizing the Buddha's enlightenment and death. I followed the music with my hands, put my five fingers together, looked up to the sky, and shouted "God bless you." Immersed in the virtual and the real, my thoughts also floated with it. The endless corridor, countless Buddha statues in various shapes and forms, are devout to the Buddha. The underground palace is the Buddha's top bone relic, which is protected by the red gold bone jade Zen bottle made of pure gold by the Buddhas during the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty, and is surrounded by eight hundred Arhats and all the gods and Buddhas. At this time, I asked for a bunch of incense, and wished the Buddha to bless. The light here is great, the sun is bright, and the wind is fine. I gave up the 20-minute drive to the foot of the mountain and experienced the elegance of traveling on the mountain road. After an hour and a half of bumpy travel, I finally caught the second-to-last bus before 6 o'clock. Looking back on the past time, I am still very proud. Especially after walking for 10 minutes, I had the urge to stop a car in the park. After countless explorations, I finally found that it really did not stop halfway. The Buddha's light shines, pushing me to a new journey. Today is over, how to describe this place.

There are four hundred and eighty temples in the Southern Dynasties, and many pavilions are shrouded in mist and rain.

Niu Shou Mountain Scenic Area was suggested by our host, and highly recommended by her Nanjing friend! But people like me who only know Zhongshan Mountain have no idea about it.

It is a great idea to hike up the mountain on a snowy day. Although the mountain bus has stopped running, it does not affect everyone's enthusiasm for hiking.

The scenic spot is so considerate that it even has an escalator. I used to be very disdainful of things like this. It was really inharmonious that a man-made elevator was built in the natural scenery. However, probably because I am getting older in recent years, I feel overwhelmed by playing too much. Having an elevator to help me is really a great help.

Although there are not many tourists going to Niu Shou Mountain, there are still quite a few. At least we had to queue for a while when we entered the mountain gate, but fortunately the scenic area is large enough and we can play freely. The only problem is that the lunch in the fast food restaurant was sold out, so we could only buy a few skewers of oden to fill our stomachs.

Tickets can be purchased online, and you can enter directly by swiping your ID card, which is very convenient. Friends with tour guide certificates can enter by swiping their electronic tour guide certificates, but there is no tour guide channel, so you have to queue up with ordinary tourists.

The architecture here is in imitation of the Tang Dynasty style, magnificent and with profound heritage, it feels extraordinary at first sight.

The facilities are relatively complete. There is a convenience store at the door with very affordable prices. The Red Cross first aid station is also nearby.

The scenic spot provides rental service for self-service audio guides. The full explanation time at the east entrance is about 3 hours, and the full explanation time at the Buddha's Head Holy Land is about 1.5 hours. The rental fee is 20 yuan/unit (deposit 200 yuan/unit). I think it is better to rent one. If you need a guide, the fee for the full explanation is 160 yuan/person, and the fee for the Buddha's Head Holy Land area is 95 yuan/person. You can take what you need.

It is recommended to take an electric car to enter the park. It is very tiring for young people like me to walk, and the scenic area is relatively large. If there are older people coming, it will probably be even more difficult.

There is a place to buy tickets at the door. It is better to buy unlimited tickets. Remember not to lose your ticket.

1) Entrance points: Niu Shou Station (East Entrance), Sanbao Station (West Entrance).

2) Ticket price:

①Unlimited times: 20 yuan/person, you can ride at any station with the ticket, valid on the day;

② One-way ticket is 10 yuan/person. Tickets purchased are for boarding and will be invalid after getting off the bus.

3) Stations: There are 6 stations on the operating line: Niu Shou Station, Foding Temple Station, Tianque Station, Sanbao Station, Yinlong Lake Station, and Rong Coffee Baoxiang Lake Station. Niu Shou Station and Tianque Station are the terminus, and it is divided into the East Line and the West Line.

① East Line: Niu Shou Station - Foding Temple Station - Tianque Station - Yinlong Lake Station - Niu Shou Station (loop line)

② West Line: Tianque Station - Sanbao Station - Rong Coffee Baoxiang Lake Station (round trip)

4) For the convenience of tourists, the East Line has set up a drop-off point in the Buddha's Head Holy Land area. This drop-off point is for get-offs only and not for boarding. If you need to take a bus, please go to Tianque Station. However, it is just a little way next to it, so it is okay to walk there.

Since we only had one afternoon, the route this time was Niu Shou Square - Foding Temple - Foding Palace. Each section was about 1 kilometer long. In order to slowly experience the scenery along the way, we decided to walk all the way. Since most tourists would take a car, we felt a rare tranquility along the way. It was like a paradise away from the hustle and bustle, full of fairy spirit. Passing by the Foding Tower, the autumn wind blew over the wind chimes in front of us, making a pleasant and soothing sound. Walking out of the Foding Palace, seeing the tower of Hongjue Temple was also a special artistic conception. When we returned to pass the Foding Temple, it was already late, and the lights after nightfall were very beautiful.

Tips:

The entire Niu Shou Mountain Scenic Area covers a large area, and a complete tour can take a whole day. If time is limited, you can only go to the Foding Temple and Foding Palace.

You can take a bus inside the scenic area, 10 yuan for a single trip and 20 yuan for unlimited trips. The bus departs from Niu Shou Square and there are stops along the way. If you don't take a bus, you need to walk about 20 minutes from Niu Shou Square to Foding Temple, and then it takes about 20 minutes to walk from Foding Temple to Foding Palace.

Niu Shou Mountain in Nanjing has been known as "Niu Shou in Spring" since ancient times. It is a famous Buddhist mountain in China with a profound cultural heritage. The Buddhist culture here has a long history. Many temples were located here in ancient times, leaving behind countless religious sites and legends. The architecture is a fusion of tradition and innovation, exuding a unique charm.

By David Hua |

Not far away is the stunning Buddha Peak Temple. This magnificent building is like a mysterious palace, exuding a solemn and sacred atmosphere. The appearance of the Buddha Peak Palace is unique, with a huge dome towering into the clouds, shining brightly under the sun.

By Rise from Fire |

Niu Shou Mountain is named after the two peaks on the top of the mountain that stand opposite each other like the horns of an ox head. It is also called Niutou Mountain by the people. Wang Dao, the prime minister of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, once advised the newly founded Emperor Yuan of Jin, Sima Rui, to give up the idea of building two towers outside the palace to symbolize the imperial power. He asked the Emperor Yuan of Jin to ride out of Xuanyang Gate and look south at Niu Shou. The two peaks stood opposite each other. Wang Dao took the opportunity to persuade the Emperor Yuan: "This is the Heavenly Tower. Why bother to change it?" Therefore, it is also named "Tianque Mountain". It is one of the four famous scenic spots in Jinling, along with Qinhuai River, Xuanwu Lake and Zijin Mountain.

By Wandering Sleeper |

Niu Shou Mountain is not very high, and the mountain road climbs very slowly. It is very comfortable to climb such a mountain. The building on the top of the mountain is very special. The exterior is majestic and magnificent, and the interior is very shocking. There is also a huge mountain gate, a very old ticket office and restaurant, and cheap tour buses. I strongly recommend friends who are visiting Nanjing to take a look!

By Metasequoia |

After entering the underground palace, the light suddenly dimmed. I took the escalator down and walked for many floors but still didn't reach the bottom. When I looked up, I was really shocked by the scene in front of me. I really reached the underground city. It's not appropriate to call it a "city". "Palace" is the most appropriate description.

The Thousand Buddha Hall is dominated by red, yellow and dark gold in colour. The entire hall is dome-shaped with an elliptical plane. The azure blue dome is like a deep eye looking down at the tiny creatures below.

The most eye-catching thing in the Thousand Buddha Hall is the Holy Pagoda that houses the Buddha's skull relic. Its shape is based on the gilded seven-treasure Ashoka Pagoda in the Great Baoen Temple, and is inspired by the inverted Sumeru Mountain-shaped central column in the Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang, symbolizing the pure and solemn Huazang World.

The walls are covered with Buddha niches, large Buddha statues, and small Buddha statues, all crystal clear, like golden lamps. The blank spaces are filled with paintings, which are colorful clouds. On the tables around are the prayer tools left by incense burners, such as lotus flowers and precious lamps, which make the temple seem bright even though there is no light.

There is a circular corridor outside the Thousand Buddha Hall, named "Ten Thousand Buddha Corridor". There are really ten thousand Buddhas. Every wall on both sides of the corridor is covered with Buddha statues, some are full-wall reliefs, some are whole sculptures, made of pottery, jade, and copper. With the colorful floor and ceiling, it really feels like the incomparable Buddhism.

Such a huge amount of money is spent on promoting Buddhist culture. It is true that after people have achieved a well-off life, they have begun to launch a strong impact on the construction of spiritual civilization.

I was on a business trip and came here in a hurry for a morning. The scenic area is actually quite large, with good greenery, suitable for outings and strolling. It is a Buddhist holy place, famous for the Buddha's skull relics, and its splendor is like that of the Brahma Palace. I happened to encounter the flying show when I went there, which made me even happier!

By China-TravelNote users |

I have been in Nanjing for several years. I haven't had time to go out for fun. Today, I took my son and my family of three out for a walk. The weather is a bit hot today. There are many people in Niu Shou Mountain. I bought tickets on China-TravelNote early in the morning. The tickets were issued very quickly. The price is cheaper than that on Meituan. I will buy it again next time.

By Branches |

The most humane and modern way to go up the mountain is by taking the escalator. Hahaha, everyone is very satisfied. The reflection photo taken from above is also good, but not many people noticed this reflection. Only I took the photo too hidden, and no one walked into my lens. It's great, hahaha

"In spring, it is Niu Shou; in autumn, it is Qixia." The holy land of Niu Shou is within reach of the Tathagata.

Faith is a kind of spiritual sustenance, but self-cultivation has nothing to do with religion.

When you come to Niu Shou Mountain, in addition to burning incense and praying, offering flowers to the Buddha, and maintaining the relics, you must also feel the Zen here. The small lake is surrounded by mist, like a fairyland. In the pavilion, there are many young ladies wearing Hanfu, who rest, drink tea, and play the guzheng. When the dreamy colored gauze is blown by the wind, the artistic conception is beautiful.

【Foding Temple】It is mainly a courtyard-style layout, a typical imitation of Tang architecture: wood, tiles, bricks and stones. The eaves of the Buddhist temple hidden in the green jungle are more ancient and quaint, giving the illusion of accidentally entering Kyoto. People pray here and write down their daily wishes with piety.

Wind chimes were hung on both sides of the stairs leading to Wuyou Square. When the breeze blew, the crisp sound of the chimes was very pleasant to the ears.

【Buddha's Peak Palace】It is a deep pit building. The original site was a 150-meter abandoned mine formed by mining. The main building of the whole building has 9 floors, extending from the ground to the bottom, with a total of 6 floors. The first time I saw a deep pit building was the Shenkeng Hotel in Shanghai, and now this palace, which cost 4 billion yuan to build, is also shocking.

Just looking at the oval shape, it would make people think it is a giant durian, but it is actually a Mani dome with a lotus holding up the Buddha's hair bun. There is a large dome outside the small dome. If I didn't know, I would have thought it was a tree of life. In fact, its shape is like the Buddha's robe, which has a certain meaning of protection and infinite blessing. The combination of large and small domes forms a sacred image of "lotus dragging treasures". The light and shadow formed by the sunlight shining through the dome glass is like a "rain of light", which is magnificent.

The first thing you see when you enter the palace is a huge reclining Buddha statue: 7.5 meters long. Here, visitors can "borrow flowers to offer to Buddha". The Buddhist scriptures say: "Why are you beautiful in this life? Because you were a flower provider in the previous life." Believers in Buddhism can offer a lotus flower and make a wish: I hope that in the short practice of life, I can be as beautiful as a flower, be happy in the world, and cleanse my soul.

Then go to the bottom floor of the Buddha's Palace, you need to go down through the intertwined escalators layer by layer. The design of the dome should be derived from the Buddha's eye, bright and spiritual. The imitation holy pagoda enshrining the Buddha's skull relic is inlaid with the "seven treasures" of Buddhism such as gilt, crystal, glass, and gemstones. It combines dozens of traditional crafts such as bronze, gilt, cloisonné enamel, sculpture, and engraving, and is supplemented by laser projection, which is exquisite.

It is understood that there are two public opening days for the Buddha's parietal bone relics in March:

One day is March 14: the day when Buddha became a monk;

One day is March 21st: the day of Sakyamuni's Nirvana, that is, his birthday.

Whether you can see the relics at ordinary times depends on your fate with the Buddha.

Here you can experience the baptism of copying scriptures and enjoy a vegetarian meal.

Convenient transportation, near Hohai University subway station, you can take a taxi directly to the scenic spot for a few dollars.

The Buddha's Crown Palace is very luxurious and worth a visit.

There is a saying in Nanjing that "Spring is Niu Shou, Autumn is Qixia", which describes the beauty of Niu Shou Mountain in spring. A few years ago, the scenic area was upgraded and the Buddha's Crown Palace was built to enshrine the Buddha's relics. The scenery of the scenic area is picturesque in all seasons, which has created the Buddhist status of the scenic area.

Niu Shou Mountain is too magnificent for me. The ambition of planning is evident everywhere. I can't say where it is good or bad, but it just feels wrong. After all, temples are not about money, but time and people's hearts.

The place where the Buddha's sacred skull relic is enshrined is not only popular with Buddhism, but also has beautiful scenery. Niu Shou in spring and Qixia in autumn show its status in Nanjing. The majestic and majestic Buddha's Head Temple and the colorful Buddha's Head Palace are amazing. The shuttle bus and automatic ticketing system in the scenic area are very complete and the service is also great.

It's amazing, especially the underground palace, which is really magnificent.

When I went there, it was the 8th Jinling Buddhist Cultural Festival, and I could see the real body relic of Sakyamuni Buddha's skull bone - the only Buddha skull bone relic found and offered in the world so far, which is wonderful and has a deep blessing. Niu Shou Mountain Cultural Tourism Area is a thousand-year-old temple for worshiping Buddha and a holiday resort for leisure tourism. The majestic Buddha's Head Palace, the towering Buddha's Head Pagoda, the quiet and secluded Buddha's Head Temple, the Niutou Zen Cultural Park exuding natural Zen interest, the shocking Zen landscape that perfectly combines modern and Buddhist culture, the mysterious and extraordinary Buddhist World Relic Hall and the Ten Thousand Buddhas Corridor, and the luxurious and technological Relics Storage Palace where the Buddha's skull bone relic has been offered for a long time.

By Tree climbing fish |

Compared to the commercial Jiming Temple, the Buddha of Niu Shou Mountain is solemn and sacred. On the way to Niu Shou Mountain, we met many pilgrims, which also laid the foundation for our encounter with Buddha to be clean and pure.

The jingling of wind chimes on the top of the Buddha's pagoda, the continuous burning of incense in the temple, and the relics placed in the underground palace 5 floors below gave us a taste of what pilgrimage is all about.

The journey of meeting Buddha and establishing a bond with him was short but memorable. The journey was long but worth it.

By fructose |

The scenic area is very large, and there are tour buses and elevators, so you don't have to walk too much or climb too many mountains. The pagoda is still under renovation and not open to the public. The main hall of the Buddha's Head Mountain is very shocking, the interior is very delicate, and the performance is also very dramatic. You can eat vegetarian food inside at noon, and the price is reasonable. The overall feeling is similar to the Brahma Palace in Lingshan, Wuxi. However, Nanjing is really hot in June.

By DrZou |

The newly built Buddhist tourist attraction in Qixia has a unique Buddha skull relic that is extremely rare.

Nanjing has not promoted Niu Shou Mountain enough, and few people know about such a beautiful scenic spot. There are few scenic spots at present, and it seems that it is being expanded and upgraded to 5A.

This is a newly built scenic spot. Although there are Buddha relics of Sakyamuni, they were moved from other places. Therefore, there are traces of artificial carving everywhere. There is neither the solemnity of Buddha nor the beauty of mountains and rivers. It feels bad.

The scenic area covers a large area. If you have time and energy, it is recommended to spend a day to slowly explore it. If you don’t have time, it is recommended to go directly to the Buddha’s Head Palace.

The entire scenic area is very large. If you only want to visit the Buddha's Palace, you can take a tour bus at any entrance of the scenic area. The whole journey takes about 2 hours. If you start from the east entrance and walk to the Buddha's Palace, the whole journey will take at least half a day.

We walked in from the north entrance and saw golden trees and a large "green carpet". Many tourists set up tents by the lake to rest.

The Buddha's Crown Palace has a magnificent appearance, is pure white, and is a perfect combination of classic and modern. The large dome is 120 meters long and shaped like the Buddha's robes. It covers the small dome of the underground palace, symbolizing the Buddha's infinite blessing. The small dome is shaped like the Buddha's hair bun, and a single dome is shaped like two hands clasped together, implying the offerings of millions of believers to the Buddha.

The reclining statue of Buddha in Nirvana at the center of the Zen Grand View is the most stunning. Visitors can admire it from many angles, and there are also lantern-offering performances every day.

The main colors of the Thousand Buddha Hall are red, yellow and dark gold. The entire hall is dome-shaped and has an elliptical plane, which is very spectacular.

It is worth seeing, and being shocked by its grandeur and magnificence the first time you hear its name.

Niu Shou Mountain is located in Jiangning District, Nanjing. It is named because its two peaks, east and west, look like horns of an ox. Niu Shou Mountain is a famous Buddhist mountain. The newly built Buddha's Head Palace (for the Buddha's skull relics) is located in the Niu Shou Mountain Scenic Area (West Peak). Every spring, citizens come here to enjoy the spring, and there is a saying that it is the Spring Niu Shou. Next to Niu Shou Mountain is Jiangjun Mountain. In 1937, the Japanese invaders cut down all the trees on the mountain and burned down all the buildings of previous dynasties. In 1957, mining dug up the western peak again. In 1986, the scenic area was restored and pine, cypress, flowers and trees were replanted.

Niu Shou Mountain, also known as Tianque Mountain, is one of the four famous scenic spots in Jinling. In recent years, it has become famous for enshrining the world's most sacred object in Buddhism - the Buddha's skull relic of Sakyamuni. It is a newly emerging tourist destination in recent years. The main attractions are the Buddha's Head Palace and the Buddha's Head Pagoda on the top of the mountain.

Recently, the Buddha's relics were opened for viewing. The Buddha's Peak Temple is very magnificent and splendid.

The natural scenery is beautiful and the Buddha's Head Temple is quite standard. The Buddha's Head Palace where the relics are stored is really stunning and extremely luxurious. It is said that it cost 20 billion to build. It is magnificent and luxurious, and you must go.

Niu Shou Mountain is a famous Buddhist mountain in China with profound cultural heritage. It is the place where the Niutou Zen Buddhism was founded and originated.

By Jackfruit |

The place is quite big, the location is a bit remote, and the building is very grand

I am very glad that I took the time to come to Niu Shou Mountain. Whether it is the magnificent Buddha's Crown Palace or the green bamboo and stone paths and pavilions in the mountain, they are all so unforgettable.

By njshuhong |

Since the government invested a large amount of money in building a cultural tourism zone, Niu Shou Mountain has immediately become high-end and classy.

I came here to worship the Buddha's skull relic. The two halls in the Buddha's skull relic are really shocking. It is said that there is another hall for worshipping the relic, which is usually inaccessible to normal people. It was my first time here and many places were not built yet. I look forward to coming again next time.

A delicate, clean, and non-commercial temple. I like it very much. I am a little afraid that after it becomes famous, more and more tourists will destroy this sense of tranquility.

Niu Shou Mountain is a natural wonder with superb natural scenery. In March, there are lush forests and bamboos, and peach blossoms are in full bloom; at dusk, the twilight is vast, the clouds are steaming, and Niu Shou is covered with mist.

It is mainly a Buddhist holy place. When I went up the mountain, it was not fully built yet. I saw on my friend's WeChat that the top should be built now. I didn't take the scenic bus along the way. I went up the mountain, took pictures, and breathed fresh air. It was very comfortable. The top is not high. Although some buildings are not yet completed, you can still see the exhibition inside. Nice place! :)

The most important thing to see in Niu Shou Mountain Scenic Area is the Buddha's Parietal Bone Palace. The entire building has six underground floors, and the sixth underground palace houses the Buddha's parietal bone relics. The fifth underground floor is where rituals are performed, and it is decorated magnificently.

Yesterday, my girlfriend and I went to Huaxi Valley next to Niu Shou Mountain. There weren’t many flowers there at the moment, but the rose garden and lily garden were pretty. The rest of the scenery was like a farm stay, and the wooden entertainment equipment was quite simple.

By Mountains can’t write travel notes |

This trip to Jinling, Niu Shou Mountain,

It is my biggest gain.

Without mountains and hills, the city would lack vitality.

Mountains are nature’s deepest love for cities and people.

There are many mountains in Nanjing.

In spring, you can visit the "Niu Shou Mist", in summer, you can enjoy the "Zhongfu Clear Clouds", in autumn, you can climb the "Qixia Scenic Spot", and in winter, you can watch the "Shicheng Snow".

The old saying: Go to Niu Shou in spring and go to Qixia in autumn is referring to this place.

I have been to Nanjing several times but have never heard of it.

This time, my friend's cell phone photo,

It really makes me yearn for it.

Just like the saying goes: Buddha is here, but the heart has gone.

The holy land of Niu Shou is within reach of Tathagata.

Just a bit of drizzle and we're off. When I first arrived at Niu Shou Mountain, before I entered the scenic area,

On the eye-catching square tower are four large golden characters "Niu Shou Sheng Jing".

So he led me over.

The first impression is the exquisite design.

It is said that the gate of the scenic area is overlooked from the air.

It is the symbol of Buddhism.

The overall structure is made of natural wood, with exquisite wood carvings and stone carvings at the bottom of the columns.

It exudes an awe-inspiring atmosphere.

The tour guide told me that the square tower is a wind chime tower.

There are 400 wind chimes hanging inside.

As I approached, a gentle breeze blew.

The clear ringing sound is very pleasant to the ear.

Close your eyes and listen carefully.

That kind of tranquility and peace spread from the heart.

The ticket hall is on the second floor.

I actually saw Starbucks and Haagen-Dazs on the first floor.

For me who loves coffee,

I have no intention of asking questions about Zen.

Refreshing for a long time. There are countless sacred scenes in Niu Shou Mountain.

Here is Shiao Taoyuan, known as "the most beautiful village in China", also known as "the first village of Niu Shou culture".

Here is the Zheng He Cultural Park, which is the tomb of Zheng He, a famous Ming Dynasty navigator.

Here, the Second Mausoleum of the Southern Tang Dynasty is located at the southern foot of Niu Shou Mountain. It is the "Qin Mausoleum" of Li Bian, the first ruler of the Southern Tang Dynasty in the Five Dynasties, and his wife Song.

and the "Shunling" of Emperor Zhongzhu Li Jing and his wife Zhong.

It is the largest imperial mausoleum during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period.

Here, Yue Fei and Jin Wushu fought a great battle, 860 years ago.

The old fortress still exists today, and some sections are intact, which is rare.

Holy objects, holy places, holy scenes,

Let me linger,

But the most precious thing is to gain inner peace and listen to your inner meditation.

A piece of stone is a Buddha, a Buddha is a piece of stone, it is nothing but a piece of heart.

Six realms of reincarnation,

The happiest thing is not to live like others.

But after working hard, you live more like yourself.

We went there in June 2011, and it had just rained. Niu Shou Mountain is near the school, and my classmates went there with seniors from other departments. It is said that there is a saying in Nanjing that "Niu Shou in spring and Qixia in autumn", and I feel that not many people come here. We went to Hongjue Temple and Zheng He's Tomb. Hongjue Temple requires a ticket, and the student ticket is 5 yuan. I don't know what it is like now. I just found out that the construction of the Buddha's Head Palace started shortly after we went there. I haven't been there since it was built. It seems that more than 1 billion yuan was spent. It feels like the Brahma Palace in Lingshan, Wuxi, which gives people a very magnificent impression. I still have to go and see it someday. The adult ticket price is 160. I really wish I were still a student.

I was stunned by the luxury of the Da Baoen Temple in the morning. In the afternoon, I arrived at the Niu Shou Mountain Buddha Palace and was stunned by the pile of money. Most of the underground palace has not been built yet. The built part is like the stage of a European opera, with water, electricity, smoke and other effects. I have never seen such a Buddhist temple. I guess the Buddha would never dare to live in it...

By Back |

The attractions built with money are magnificent and a little shocking, but the ticket price is a bit expensive

By Easy life |

The ticket to Zheng He's Tomb is 20 yuan per ticket, and the half-price ticket is 10 yuan for students and children. I guess this place is not visited by many people except for cultural commemorative activities organized by the organization. Niu Shou Mountain is closed and cannot be entered. I had to come here with Feifei and Qingsong to take a look and learn some knowledge.

[Geographic location] Niu Shou Mountain is located on Ningdan Road in Jiangning, which is very easy to find. The transportation is not convenient, so it is suitable for you to drive there by yourself. Parking is also free, just try not to occupy the road.

[Environment] There is a seven-story tower inside, which is relatively old, but seems to have been renovated. The road on the mountain is well built, and the car can drive all the way to the top of the mountain. Looking at the green trees and flowers all over the mountain, it makes people feel relaxed and happy, throw away their worries and relax themselves, and make themselves completely relaxed physically and mentally. Admiring the ancient towers and temples with a long history makes people understand how long it has been! There is a small lake at the foot of the mountain, and there are many green plants and flowers by the lake. Many people like to take wedding photos here. And walking down the whole mountain road is not very tiring, because it is all asphalt roads, clean, sweating, and it really feels good. After crossing the mountain, there is a farmhouse opposite, where you can eat local dishes, and the price is not expensive.

The first choice for spring outing, because Nanjing has a saying that "Niu Shou in spring, Qixia in autumn". It is very convenient to take the subway S8, but it takes a little longer. It takes nearly 2 hours from the city to Niu Shoushan subway station, and it is less than 1,000 meters to get off the train. The lake and mountains are nice, the lake is clear, and it is an artificial lake, the source of the jasmine song. You can also climb the mountain, there is the Jinguan Zen Temple on it, you can also rent a car to circle around the lake, you can also rent a barbecue table next to the large lawn, and there are many peacocks in the bird garden. The forest coverage rate is high, and you can see a lot of green plants in spring, full of spring. Strolling in it, it is pleasant and comfortable. I went there on the weekend and saw many families coming here for spring outings, setting up tents, or laying tablecloths on the lawn. It is a good place for families to relax and vacation on weekends.
