I believe everyone has learned the poem "Anchored at Qinhuai" written by Du Mu of the Tang Dynasty: Mists shroud the cold water, moon shrouds the sand, and I anchored at Qinhuai near a tavern at night. The merchant woman knows not the hatred of the fallen country, and still sings the song of the back garden across the river. You can only feel the atmosphere when you really arrive at the Qinhuai River. The center of the Qinhuai River is just opposite the Confucius Temple, which is also a commercial street. The Jiangnan Imperial Examination Hall and the China Imperial Examination Museum are also here. It is recommended to stroll around. Because it was already night when I arrived at the Qinhuai River, I just strolled around the commercial street. I did not take a cruise, but those who want to take a cruise can also take a tour.

The streets along the Qinhuai River have become commercialized, with shops on both sides. However, as the most prosperous place in Nanjing, this trend is expected. Figure 2 is the Jiangnan Gongyuan (China Imperial Examination Museum). I just passed by and didn't go in to learn more about it, but I heard that it is quite large. Figure 3 Wuyi Lane is a small alley, not long, and there is an ancient well in it. If there are fewer people, you can feel it better. Figure 4 is the Qinhuai River painted boat. I came here specifically for this, so I chose the evening, so I can see both the daytime and night views. The night painted boat ticket can be purchased by self-service through the machine, which is very convenient, but if you take the boat, you can enter the venue at around 7 o'clock. There are also electronic explanations along the way on the boat, which is quite interesting. When we got ashore after sitting for 50 minutes, the long queue was estimated to be about 100 meters. Figure 5 You must try the soup dumplings, which are very good.

Taking a pleasure boat cruise will give you the feeling of "mooring at Qinhuai near a tavern at night". Although it is night, the whole Qinhuai River can still show its charm and beauty. The lights on both sides are dim, red lanterns are hung high, and small boats are slowly wandering on the river. Although it does not have the graceful poetic and picturesque feeling of a small town in the south of the Yangtze River, it looks more majestic, just like the difference between a beautiful girl from a small family and a lady from a big family. I think the Qinhuai River is a graceful lady from a big family, and she welcomes every guest with her best temperament.

So, although many people say that taking these cruises in domestic scenic spots, small projects, will feel a bit of a rip-off, I think those who are interested may wish to give it a try, because after all, each city has different charms from different angles. Maybe today, in your city, you think that taking these cruises is a bit of a rip-off, a bit tacky, and a scam, but maybe when you go to another city and experience all this from the perspective of travel, it is actually the same. Just like when we were in Bangkok, we also wanted to feel the Siam River, and when we were in India, we also wanted to see the Ganges River. This mentality does not need to be rejected too much.

The entire Qinhuai River is very long. The most prosperous area is the area near the Confucius Temple. There are also many snack streets, which are must-visit places for tourists. It is better to tour Qinhuai at night. Take the bus to Confucius Temple-Zhanyuan and get off. It is around 6 or 7 o'clock in the evening. It is just dark when you walk to the river. There is a place to buy tickets at the pier near the Confucius Temple to take a boat to tour Qinhuai at night, but I still choose to walk to experience the scenery of Jiangnan. There are mostly open-air cafes and bars on both sides of the river. There are singers singing. You can find a place to sit down and look at the Qinhuai River under the lights. I like to travel at night. The ancient buildings in Jiangnan outlined by lights are more flavorful.

It was called Longzangpu in ancient times, Huaishui in the Han Dynasty, and Qinhuai after the Tang Dynasty. Qinhuai River has two sources, the northern source, Jurong River, originates from the southern foot of Baohua Mountain in Jurong City, and the southern source, Lishui River, originates from Donglu Mountain in Lishui District, Nanjing City. The two rivers merge into the main stream of Qinhuai River in Fangshandai Northwest Village, Jiangning District, Nanjing City, bypass Fangshan to the northwest to the outer city gate Shangfang Gate, and flow into Nanjing City from Dongshuiguan, running across the urban area from east to west. The Jiangnan Imperial Examination Hall is divided into two exhibition areas, the South Courtyard and the North Courtyard. There is nothing to see in the South Courtyard, so it is recommended to skip it.

The tour of the North Courtyard starts from the fourth floor below ground. Walk down the slope to the fourth floor below ground. On one side is an underground continuous wall, and on the other side is a wall decorated with scrolls. People with trypophobia should be careful when viewing this floor.

Going down to the lobby on the fourth floor below ground, there was another wall with an indecipherable painting on it, which made me even more intensively phobic.

The tour starts on the fourth floor below ground, and the first thing you see is a replica of the gatehouse of the Kedi family.

It begins by introducing several anecdotes about ancient people seeking talents. The first is King Wen’s search for Zi Ya, I forgot what the second one was, and the third one is King Wen’s three visits to the thatched cottage.

Although the imperial examination system has many drawbacks, it must be said that it is a great system. It broke the monopoly of the aristocratic families on official careers and gave ordinary people the opportunity to enter the court and participate in the management of the country through reading and examination. The imperial examination system, which lasted for 1,300 years, has attracted the vast majority of talents in Chinese society and made society stable. The same is true for today's college entrance examination. Children from ordinary families have the opportunity to enter university through reading and change their destiny through knowledge. It is undeniable that there is still a lot of room for improvement in the college entrance examination. However, in fact, among the currently conceivable methods, the college entrance examination is already the fairest.

Qinhuai River is the largest river in Nanjing. It is divided into inner river and outer river. The inner river is in Nanjing and is the most prosperous place in the ten-mile Qinhuai River. Qinhuai River is the cradle of Nanjing's ancient civilization and the mother river of Nanjing. It is extremely famous in history. It is known as "the area of smoke and moon in the Six Dynasties and the place where gold and powder gather". It has been prosperous for ten generations and is known as "China's first famous historical and cultural river". As early as the Stone Age, there were human activities in the basin. From the East Water Gate to the West Water Gate, the two banks along the river have been the residential area of the prosperous commercial district since the Eastern Wu Dynasty.

In fact, the place is not big, but the night view is still very beautiful. There are a lot of people, the snacks are average, and the Nanjing Dapaidang queued but didn't go in. It's worth going once, but it's not worth going often during peak hours. If you haven't taken a boat, you can experience it.

Qinhuai River, formerly known as Huaishui, also known as Longzangpu, has two sources. The eastern source is from Baohua Mountain in Jurong County, and the southern source is from Donglu Mountain in Lishui County. The two sources converge at Fangshandai in Jiangning County, flow into Nanjing City from Dongshuiguan, run from east to west across the southern part of the city to Xishuiguan, and flow out to join the Yangtze River. It is 110 kilometers long.

For a long time, the impression of Qinhuai River and me seems to be only "romantic". Since ancient times, the more prosperous a place is, the more prosperous the "tertiary industry" is. The scenery here is very ordinary during the day, and the narrow river runs through the roofs of buildings. But at night, the lights are bright, and the night cruise on Qinhuai River is the highlight. The boat ticket is divided into daytime and nighttime, 60 during the day and 80 at night, and the whole boat ride takes about 50 minutes.

Wuyi Lane is located on the south bank of the Qinhuai River in Nanjing, in the core area of the Confucius Temple Qinhuai Scenic Belt. It is the oldest and most famous ancient lane in Chinese history. It was the residence of the wealthy families of China at that time. It was also the residence of the two wealthy families of Wang and Xie in the Jin Dynasty. The children of the two families liked to wear black clothes to show their noble status, hence the name. Wuyi Lane is crowded with people and has produced many cultural masters such as Wang Xizhi, Wang Xianzhi, and Xie Lingyun, the founder of the landscape poetry school.

In ancient poems, "mooring at night near the Qinhuai River" is a good place to enjoy the night view of Qinhuai River.

The origin of the name Taoye Ferry can be traced back to the Eastern Jin Dynasty of the Six Dynasties. Wang Xianzhi, the seventh son of the great calligrapher Wang Xizhi, often welcomed his concubine Taoye to cross the river here. At that time, the surface of the Inner Qinhuai River was wide, and if there were wind and waves, the ferry would often capsize if it was not careful. Taoye was afraid every time she was ferried, so Wang Xianzhi wrote a poem "Taoye Song" for her: "Taoxian Taoye, you don't need to paddle to cross the river, but there is no hardship in crossing, I will welcome you myself." In order to commemorate Wang Xianzhi, later generations named the ferry where he welcomed Taoye that year as Taoye Ferry.

The Confucius Temple Qinhuai Scenic Area is located in Qinhuai District, Nanjing. It takes the Confucius Temple ancient building complex as the center, the ten-mile Qinhuai River as the axis, and the Ming City Wall as the link, connecting many national key cultural relics protection units, provincial and municipal cultural relics protection units.

During the Six Dynasties, the Confucius Temple area in Nanjing was already quite prosperous. Wuyi Lane, Zhuque Street, Taoye Ferry and other places were all inhabited by the noble families at that time. In the Ming Dynasty, Confucius Temple was the examination site of the Imperial College, where candidates gathered. Therefore, many service industries were concentrated here, including restaurants, teahouses, snacks, and brothels. On the Inner Qinhuai River, "the sound of oars and lights stretches for ten miles, and singing girls play on the muddy waves in flower boats" and "the sound of flutes and drums on painted boats continues day and night", which describes the prosperous scene on the Qinhuai River at that time.

By A Tu |

The pool in front of the Confucius Temple is generally called "Panchi". The Lu State Academy was located on the bank of the Pan River. In the Zhou Dynasty, "the emperor's school was Yong, and the princes' school was Pan", and this became a custom. Before the Confucius Temple was built, a section of the Qinhuai River that flowed through the square was transformed into the Panchi, making the Confucius Temple the only temple in the country that uses natural running water as the Panchi. The screen wall on the south bank of the Qinhuai River was built in the third year of the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty (1575). It is tall and majestic, with a total length of 110 meters, the longest screen wall in the country. It is significantly different from the Confucius Temples across the country in that it uses the natural Qinhuai River as the Panchi.

The Qinhuai River is the source of the ancient Nanjing culture. The inner Qinhuai River, with a total length of 4.2 kilometers from Dongshuitou to Xishuiguan, has been a place where prominent families have lived since the Six Dynasties. It is a gathering place for merchants, scholars, and Confucianism, and is known as the "Gold Powder of the Six Dynasties".

Qinhuai River is the cradle of ancient civilization in Nanjing. It is the mother river of Nanjing and has a great reputation in history. It has always been known as "the place of smoke and moon in the Six Dynasties, where gold and powder gather". It has also been a prosperous place for ten generations. "Clothing and cultural relics are prosperous in Jiangnan; literary talent and elegance are the best in the country". It is known as "China's first famous historical and cultural river". As early as the Stone Age, there were human activities in the basin. From the East Water Gate to the West Water Gate, the banks along the river have been a prosperous commercial district since the Eastern Wu Dynasty. During the Six Dynasties, it became a place where famous families lived, merchants gathered, literati gathered, and Confucianism flourished. It became the center of Jiangnan culture since the Song Dynasty. The Ming and Qing Dynasties, especially the Ming Dynasty, were the heyday of the Ten-Li Qinhuai River. In the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, the deeds of the Eight Beauties of Qinhuai River were even more popular. The Qinhuai River was called Longzangpu in ancient times and later Huaishui. Most of the Qinhuai River is within the territory of Nanjing City. It is the largest regional river in the main city of Nanjing. The section that flows through Nanjing City is called "Ten-Li Qinhuai".

The Qinhuai River Screen Wall was built in the third year of the Wanli reign of the Ming Dynasty (Li Ze period). It is 110 meters long and is the longest screen wall in China. Night view of the screen wall.

The night view of Qinhuai River reminds us of a poem written by Tang Dynasty poet Du Mu: "Mists shroud the cold water, moon shrouds the sands, I moor at Qinhuai River near a tavern at night. The merchant women know not the hatred of the lost country, and they still sing the song of the back garden across the river." The whole poem uses narrative to bring out the argument, but the argument is not directed at the singers (merchant women), but at people who ignore the difficulties of the country and only care about their own enjoyment. This is the overtone of the poem. From the current night view, we can also imagine the prosperity of the past.

The main stream of Qinhuai River is not very long, but it was a place where celebrities lived in ancient times, and it was a gathering place for the entertainment industry in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. There are many scenic spots on both sides. The night view here is the best and very artistic.

It is a very different feeling to visit Qinhuai River at night. Only when you come here can you feel the beauty of Qinhuai River. There are few people in the morning, which is very suitable for taking pictures.

You can take a night cruise on the Qinhuai River after 17:30 in the evening. There is a time limit at the ticket office. The prices for the daytime route and the night cruise are different, 50 yuan during the day and 60 yuan at night. If there are students traveling on a budget, here is a little trick. It gets dark early in November, so go buy tickets for the daytime route at five o'clock, and wait until after five o'clock to queue up to board the boat. It takes about 30 to 45 minutes to take a boat tour. By the time you return, it has been dark, and the lights on the river are basically on, so you can fully feel the atmosphere of a night cruise on the Qinhuai River.

Very commercial, very ordinary, . . . . . . . .

On both sides of the river are brightly lit ancient capital buildings and swaying willow trees. It is so beautiful just looking at it from the shore. No matter what, you must get on the boat to tour this historical river.

The Qinhuai River is best viewed at night, as the night view is very beautiful.

Qinhuai Ancient Street is very lively at night, with crowds of people and bright lights, similar to Shanghai's City God Temple, except that there is no such river running through the City God Temple. The pleasure boats on the river move forward with the waves, and rickshaws travel on the streets. You can feel the ancient charm in the full atmosphere of fireworks. The people queuing at the dock of the pleasure boat really scared me. It is hard to imagine how many tourists were received during the National Day holiday that just passed. I didn't take a boat. For me, staying at Qinhuai overnight does not necessarily mean being on a boat. The water of Qinhuai is at my feet, the moon of Qinhuai is above my head, and the lights and oars of Qinhuai are in front of me. This feeling is really enough.

Right next to the Confucius Temple, there are cruise ships and the night view is even better

It's worth a visit. It's best to stay in a hotel next to it so that you can enjoy it during the day or at night.

There are many cruise ships passing by the Qinhuai River, but if you look closely, the water is still quite turbid and not very clean.

Together with Confucius Temple, it is an AAAAA-level scenic spot with free admission. But a mere audio guide to the scenic spot costs 19 yuan. How shameless! It is completely commercialized and has no cultural atmosphere. I peed when I saw the guide map of the starting and ending points. I don't recommend going there.

The Qinhuai River has been flowing for thousands of years. There are countless rivers in the world, but no other river can compete with the gracefulness of the Qinhuai River. The Yangtze River has nourished the Qinhuai River for thousands of years, creating its unique temperament and style, making it a perfect combination of softness and grandeur. As a prosperous place in the Six Dynasties, the Qinhuai River has traveled through time and space, flowing through the rise and fall of dynasties, and witnessing the vicissitudes of history. The Qinhuai River is the prosperous place of Nanjing. The two sides of the river are separated by a river. One is the Jiangnan Gongyuan, the main examination hall for the southern region's joint examinations, and the other side is where the famous prostitutes of the southern Jiaofang gather.

Today, the Qinhuai River area is already filled with a strong commercial atmosphere, and the picturesque scenery in the poem can no longer be seen. Let this feeling and scene remain in that song~

The boat was sailing slowly on the river, the evening breeze was blowing on my face, I almost fell asleep, and didn't hear a word of the explanation. The night view was still very beautiful.

Qinhuai River is Nanjing's signature attraction, so especially during this golden week, it is crowded and highly commercialized. You can simply come and join in the fun, but as a photography enthusiast, you still have to take a few classic photos of the signature attraction.

My impression of this place is that it is crowded, crowded, and still crowded. It is commercialized, commercialized, and still commercialized. During the Golden Week, the prices of food and drinks have increased exponentially. The so-called snack city is lively, crowded, and full of food, but the taste is really not that good. Maybe the customers who come here are one-time customers, and they don't need repeat customers at all. They only care about the appearance but not the taste.

We came to this place just to join in the fun. We were hungry and went to several snack bars. They were all crowded and full from 8 am to 10 pm. We finally found a step by the river to sit down and eat. We ordered 3 snacks and spent the most RMB in the past few days. We were not full and the taste was not very good.

Shopping and eating at Qinhuai River is the most unwise thing to do. Starting from about 7 o'clock in the evening, the flow of people will gradually increase, and by 8 o'clock the flow of people will increase dramatically, to the point where people are next to each other, shoulders against shoulders, and you cannot see the road in front of you. You don't even have to walk by yourself, as the flow of people will push you along.

The Qinhuai River during the day has a hint of Wuzhen's flavor, but of course, it's not as beautiful as Wuzhen.

When you go to Nanjing, no matter you are elegant or vulgar, you must go to the Qinhuai River to feel the prosperity of Jinling during the Six Dynasties. Especially when you go boating on the Qinhuai River at night, with neon lights flashing and crowds of people, the poem "Mooring at Qinhuai near the tavern at night" will surely make you feel the vicissitudes of history!

A city of stone, a river of cosmetics, the sounds of oars and the shadows of lights, this is Nanjing, this is Nanjing's Qinhuai River.

Today, the Qinhuai River is full of music and dancing, but it is not as noisy and lively as before. Many passers-by come here just to enjoy the night view.

A flat bridge spans the river, connecting the two banks. On the bridge, lights are like flowers, and under the bridge, water flows. Passing tourists take photos with the pleasure boats and restaurants on the river as the background.

The night view of Qinhuai River is a must-see when you come to Nanjing. The winding river slowly tells the stories of the past, adding a touch of charming scenery to this ancient capital of the Six Dynasties. It is so lively to take a cruise and listen to opera on the Qinhuai River at night. Walking along the river, the noisy people become the background. Who will come to your mind?

Can the Qinhuai River compare to the Haihe River in Tianjin? There is no comparison between the two. The Haihe River in Tianjin is majestic and beautiful, while the Qinhuai River is like a graceful and charming elegant woman. It is too hard for you not to love her... If you don't take a cruise when you arrive at the Qinhuai River, you always feel that something is missing, so there are many people waiting, and I have no regrets. We waited for about an hour, and because there were too many people on the boat, the ticket sales were suspended for 20 minutes. But it's okay, waiting + boating takes about 2 hours. There are two ways to buy cruise tickets. 1 is manual ticket sales, and 2 is automatic ticket vending machines. Both require queuing, but the automatic ticket sales are relatively less crowded and faster. The cruise takes about 40 minutes.

At first, I was disappointed when I saw the Confucius Temple archway; I was even more disappointed when I walked in the underground crossing and saw all kinds of grocery stores; when I got to the ground, I found that it was no different from many commercial so-called ancient streets, and when I got near the Confucius Temple, I actually needed tickets everywhere.

I walked around, took photos, and stepped on the map to light up. I felt that it was nothing special. I wanted to find something to eat and then go back. Unexpectedly, there was someone giving a lecture at the gate of Jiangnan Gongyuan, so I went closer to listen. I found that the lecture was very good. After a closer look, I found that it was a public welfare lecture, so I continued to listen.

The girl who was explaining the tour probably looked like she was from Jiangsu. She had pretty eyes and a sharp tongue, and her explanation was lively and cute. It took half an hour to explain everything from Gongyuan to Wuyi Lane, and she also had to answer questions from tourists afterwards. It was really hard work, and I really learned a lot.

During this half hour, the sky was completely dark, and the Qinhuai River was brightly lit, colorful and truly beautiful.

Not only that, performances in Gongyuan and on Qinhuai River also began one after another, and they were also free.

At this point, I am still impressed by the dedication of Nanjing Tourism and feel that the trip was worthwhile.
