There are several very interesting roads. You can walk around them casually, but they are all protected. It's a pity that they can't be opened. You can only go to the Twelve Mansions area to see them. When you think about the people who lived here, they were all elites and top people. It's really exciting to think that the people living next to them are all great scholars and princes who divided the area.

Yihe Road is similar to Shanghai in layout, with only a short section of the road and a Pioneer Bookstore at the end, occupying a roundabout, also an old building. Some of the old houses on the street are abandoned, some are residential, some are marked for demolition, and some have been converted into boutique hotels and restaurants.

The house at No. 23 Yihe Road impressed me the most, mainly because it was surrounded by railings instead of walls. You can see the whole villa and imagine what it feels like to live in it, the furnishings and functions of each room. I wonder who the current owner is. Daydreaming.

So, unless you have almost visited Nanjing, I really don't recommend it.

I like the elegance and mottled style of the Republic of China. I originally planned to go to Taiwan, but the vacation was not good, so I came to Nanjing alone. I stayed at the Home Inn on Yihe Road, which is convenient for visiting the Gongguan District of Yihe Road. I like the black tiles and yellow walls here, as well as the lush sycamore leaves. There are few people and cars in the whole area, which is very quiet and comfortable. The buildings are basically kept in their original appearance without too much modern decoration. It is suitable for daydreaming, taking photos, and pursuing, to feel the passionate and turbulent era of the Republic of China!

Many guides have been here, so on the second day of the Qingming Festival, my friend took me to Yihe Road. The buildings on both sides of the street are quite historic. Rows of French plane trees stand neatly beside the road. The tender green leaves of the plane trees are sparse and just cover the sky. It is very pleasing to the eye. But! Yes! Why are there so many cars today? !

The Gongguan area has been converted into a restaurant and cafe, and there are some small exhibitions, which is very unique.

Take the bus to Jiangsu Road and get off. The Republican-style houses give people a false sense of pride in their backyard. Basically, it has been converted into a hotel, and very few of them can be visited and open at 10 am.

The path next door is very quiet and is a good place to walk the dog. In the middle of the roundabout is the Pioneer Bookstore Yihe Road, where you can take photos freely, so it’s not strange to see people taking photos.

Close to it are Shanxi Road and Gulou Park, and you can also visit the Gulou campus of Nanjing University.

It's a very quiet road with a sense of historical sedimentation. If you are lucky, you will come across a cafe, sit inside, listen to music, and the afternoon will pass by.

The feelings of the Republic of China under the sycamore trees, Yihe Road is half of the history of the Republic of China. The 12th block of Yihe Road Mansion has now jumped into the eyes of tourists. Fengfeng experts who come to Nanjing have flocked here, strolling under the sycamore trees, looking at these exquisite small Western-style buildings, tasting mellow coffee, reminiscing about the history of the Republic of China, and telling the dignitaries who once lived here and the historical stories of the past.

The 12th Block of Yihe Mansion is located in Nanjing Gulou District. You can take bus No. 3 or No. 8 to Jiangsu Road and get off there. There is no entrance fee. Visitors can wander freely in the scenic area and take a rest under the umbrella shed when they are tired. The various small Western-style buildings in the scenic area have been transformed into leisure resorts, dining areas, and leisure areas. Various trees and flowers compete for beauty here.

After leaving the scenic area, you can take a walk on Yihe Road. The tall plane trees block the scorching sun. Strolling in this alley will surely make you feel calm and refreshed.

At the top of Ninghai Road is a Pioneer Bookstore, with several alleys radiating out from here as a roundabout. They are all so quiet that you can walk anywhere and will never get lost.
