Yilu Road Republican-era Villa Area

The Yihe Road Residences area is centered on the Ninghai Road roundabout, and radiates from Ninghai Road, Yihe Road, Guling Road, Mogan Road, Jiangsu Road, and Beijing West Road. There are more than 200 residences of important officials of the Republic of China government. It is the area with the most residences of the Republic of China in China. It is also one of the characteristic attractions of the Republic of China architecture in Nanjing and an important modern building complex in Nanjing. It is known as the "Republic of China Architecture Museum."
The Yihe Road Residence District was a high-end residential area provided by the Republic of China government for government officials in the 1930s. Since 1933, 287 independent garden houses have been built one after another, and there are still 225 well-preserved Republic of China residences.
The courtyards and buildings of these celebrity former residences and embassies (consulates) have their own characteristics. Some are luxurious, some are simple, some are exquisite, and some are rough. They each have their own stories and record the changes of history.

Considering the history of the Yihe Mansion, it is more appropriate to wear an evening gown to take photos. There are three doors open to the public, and citizens come in very early. Therefore, in the public area of the mansion, you can not only see many tourists visiting, but also many citizens relaxing here. Elderly people with children push strollers and take their children to play happily in the yard. This is really the development results shared by the people.

Except for extremely special areas where entry is prohibited, the hotel will place a notice board at a prominent entrance. Other places can be used for portrait photography. The villa architecture of the Republic of China is matched with red maple, ginkgo and sycamore, and the colors are very bright. At this time, the most important thing is the color of the model's clothes, which should be plain. In terms of lens selection, the 2470, which takes into account both wide angle and portrait, is a good choice.

Many corners of the courtyard are sparsely populated, and retro buildings like Roman columns can set off the theme.

If you come here in autumn, the red maple leaves will certainly be a good background.

Yihe Road is the road in Nanjing that has the most Republican-era scenery. Although it is not as restored as the Republican-era pavilion in Nanjing Museum, it is outdoor and feels more natural and peaceful. It is especially suitable for cycling and walking, but because the scenic area is small, it is not recommended for travelers with tight schedules in Nanjing. It is suitable for people who study and work in Nanjing to relax. There are many villas and people still live in the old community, which is quite lively.

Walking in this Gongguan District covering several square kilometers, I always see long courtyard walls, numerous crossroads, and closed courtyard gates. Occasionally, I can see vines climbing out of the courtyard walls and residents entering the door in groups of three or two through video intercoms. I remind myself that this is not Japan, even though it always gives me the illusion that I can see Doraemon and Nobita around the corner. This is not Shanghai either, because the noise and prosperity of Shikumen are gone. Seeing these people riding bicycles, walking their pet dogs, or stopping to talk, I am sure that this is Nanjing, the city of resurrection from Nirvana.

Especially when the sky clears up after the snow, the dots of snow against the blue sky add a touch of European style.

Yihe Road looks like a lot of Western-style houses, but because they are not connected, it doesn't feel very shocking. Even though there are towering plane trees, it doesn't feel like Shanghai's Sinan Road. Turning a corner, it's Ninghai Road, a long alley of plane trees. Foreigners live in Chinese-style houses, while the Republic of China's prominent houses are all small Western-style houses. It can be regarded as a wonderful echo of each other.

In fact, to be honest, I had thought that the trip to the Summer Palace would just be a passing visit. There was nothing to see inside, but I had a feeling that I had been looking for the context of Nanjing for a long time, and finally I had a little clue on this day.

Nanjing Yihe Road is less than one kilometer from east to west. Looking back at the road behind me, the dense French plane trees and the thin road are sweetly embracing each other, like lovers who have met after a long separation. A person, unbridled, abandoning everything, without any role, is like the lush plane trees on both sides of the road, only concerned with growth, regardless of life. Walking all the way to the end, I found many tree holes, which have many secrets. Everything in "In the Mood for Love" instantly came to me on the dark side of Yihe Road. I seemed to see Zhou Muyun talking to the tree hole, and then covering it with mud.

At present, the Yihe Mansion is the best preserved and open area in Nanjing. If you have enough time in Nanjing, I strongly recommend you to go there. It is a good place for couples to date. There is an introduction of the original owner in front of each house, and most of them are listed as cultural relics protection units in Nanjing.

By Si Xie Gong Zi |

A little disappointed, I feel the characteristics are not so obvious.

The Yihe Road represents half of the history of the Republic of China.

Suitable for people nearby to take a look.

Most doors are closed, with a public entrance on Jiangsu Road.

free.

It seems that there are high-end rooms available for stay.

When you get off Yunnan Road Station on Metro Line 4, you will see Beijing West Road (Ginkgo Avenue) right in front of you. However, most of the trees have withered and some are completely bare.

Nanjing University (Gulou Campus) is also here.

I recommend walking from Beijing West Road to Nanjing University. You can also catch the end of the ginkgo trees. If you have time, you can visit the Summer Palace. The three places are closely connected and very close.

There is a group of residential buildings connected on Yihe Road and Ninghai Road in Nanjing, which is the famous Yihe Road Mansion District. The so-called Yihe Road Mansion District is the garden villas where important officials of the Kuomintang military and political organs, wealthy people and foreigners lived before liberation. It is known as the "Government District of the Republic of China", "Embassy District" and "Modern and Contemporary Architecture Model District". It is a beautiful and retro place, suitable for taking pictures. There are not many people, but you should pay attention to the vehicles coming and going.

By Trend vision |

There are dense trees on both sides of the road, and there is a jungle in the city. There are few cars and people on the road. Nanjing, a metropolis, is so quiet and sparsely populated, especially during the Golden Week. The buildings on both sides are also refreshing, with a unique and unified style.

When I first arrived at Yihe Road, I found that the doors of all the houses were closed. I looked through the cracks in the doors and saw leaves on the road in the courtyard. It was obvious that no one had lived there for a long time. I was confused for a while. Where should I start? Later I learned that there was a mansion entrance on Jiangsu Road. There were not many tourists entering the scenic spot during the Golden Week. There were very few pedestrians, which was in line with the quiet atmosphere of the mansion, hidden in the boudoir and unknown to the public.

The entrances to the Yihe Road Mansion area are mostly concentrated on Jiangsu Road. You must enter the scenic spot. There is nothing outside. There are a total of 4 entrances. Yihe Road Mansion is also a commercial hotel based on the preservation of ancient buildings. In addition to a few scenic spots, most of the buildings inside are guest rooms, which are relatively luxurious. We don’t know the specific price and booking method.

“Yihe Road is half of the history of the Republic of China.”

There are 285 courtyards in the entire Yihe Road block, 264 of which have the style of the Republic of China, and 225 of them are relatively well preserved.

These buildings were once the residences of important historical figures of the Republic of China and the locations of foreign embassies and consulates.

The former residences of many celebrities of the Republic of China, including Xue Yue, Chen Bulei, Huang Renlin, Zhang Dulun, Xiong Bin, Chen Cheng, Gu Zhutong, Hu Lian, Zheng Tianxi, Wang Jingwei, Zheng Jiemin, Yu Jishi, Zhou Zhirou, Tang Enbo, Ma Hongkui, and American envoy Marshall, are all located here.

Yihe Road Yihe Road is half of the history of the Republic of China. In Nanjing, the most beautiful and leisurely road is Yihe Road. Walking here, you can hear no noise, and the French plane trees that are decades old are quietly accompanying you on both sides of the road. You can see buildings of different styles along the way, and the prosperity of the past is hidden among the blue brick and tile houses.

Yihe Road is located in Gulou District, Nanjing. It was built into a high-end residential area in the 1930s according to the Capital Plan. On both sides of the boulevard, most of the buildings are two-story buildings that combine Chinese and Western styles. The building density is low and it has been listed as a Republican architectural protection area. There is a group of residential buildings connected between Yihe Road and Ninghai Road in Nanjing, which is the famous Yihe Road Mansion District. The so-called Yihe Road Mansion District is the garden villas where important officials of the Kuomintang military and political organs, wealthy people and foreigners lived before liberation. It is known as the "Republic of China Government District", "Embassy District" and "Modern and Contemporary Architecture Model District".

The houses on Yihe Road are all in groups with their doors open. They are good houses, but they are not well maintained. You can install an air conditioner in the middle. The doors of good houses are all closed and you can't see them! The road environment is not bad, there are not many cars, and there are thick locust trees planted, and the trees are covered with moss. Such roads are not as attractive as those small roads on Wukang Road, and are not suitable for out-of-town tourists like us to come here specially.

The original plan was to visit all the exhibitions of the Republic of China style, but in fact the exhibitions were closed on Sundays, so we had to launch a photography competition for the architecture of the Republic of China.

It is recommended that friends who plan to come here must make enough plans in advance and go there during the opening hours.

I would have felt a little regretful and sad.

But because the architecture of the Republic of China is so beautiful in this season

Falling in love with crazy architectural photography

The trees here are integrated with the buildings of the Republic of China.

Deep and light green and yellow are the colors of autumn

The high-rise buildings behind reflect the historical weight of this place.

Personally, I think it is better to visit this place and Yihe Road as a whole in the morning, especially for literary and fresh check-in and photography. We were short on time so we just had a quick walk around.

By Yan Xiaopang❤️ |

It was already past 5 o'clock when we got there. After walking around, we found no one there, which we thought was strange. Later we found out that we went too late. People could only go into the house to visit before 5 o'clock. During the Republic of China period, some important people and some wealthy people lived in small villas, some of which were exquisite and some ordinary.

When I went there, it was Sunday, so many places were not open for visitors. However, the whole scenic area was very quiet, and it was very pleasant to walk around and take pictures.

I accidentally walked into the Republic of China Mansion Style Area, and the villas inside have been used as hotels and restaurants. The villas are well preserved, and the exterior construction and design are different, very distinctive, and worth a visit!

Before I came to Nanjing, I thought that Yihe Road must be beautiful just by hearing these three words. The first time I visited Yihe Road was in April 2018 when the roses were in bloom. At that time, I lived in Xinjiekou. I got up early and rode here. The area is very large, and I asked several people along the way. Walking on the road, I always feel like I am going back in time. The smoke and clouds of the past are locked deep in this high-walled courtyard, and that era of change is far away from us.

By Ugly |

What I just wrote was not saved. I need to write it again.

The road is very quiet, but there are many cars that affect the experience. If you come to Nanjing for fun, you don't need to come here. I suggest some local Nanjing residents come here to kill time.

It's worth coming again when the roses bloom in spring

Nowadays, this area has been built into a high-end residential hotel. Under the shade of sycamore trees, it exudes a strong Republican atmosphere. The private butler will take you to experience the leisure here in a unique way. It is said that there is also a French restaurant opened by Michelin two-star chef Mauro Colagreco, and a Chinese restaurant where you can enjoy traditional Republican dishes.

There are buildings with characteristics of the Republic of China, former residences of celebrities and many foreign consulates. Fortunately, in recent years, the Yihe Mansion has opened some exhibition halls with the theme of food, clothing and architecture of the Republic of China. At present, few people know about it. Take a walk along the most beautiful Yihe Road in Nanjing and unveil the mystery of the buildings of the Republic of China that have been there for hundreds of years.

The Yihe Road Mansion area used to be where some high-ranking officials or celebrities of the Republic of China lived. The entire building complex is in a diamond shape. It is now the best preserved of the Republican buildings in Nanjing (there is another one to be mentioned later). It is now the residence of high-ranking officials of the Jiangsu Provincial Government. So I don’t need to say more about how good the environment is. Most of the residences are not allowed to enter (you can find a way to communicate and then enter). There are relatively few cars in the building complex, but one thing to pay attention to is safety, especially if you want to take pictures.

The Yihe Road Residence District in Nanjing is located in Gulou District, Nanjing. It is a group of buildings of the Republic of China along Beijing West Road. It was a residential area for government officials and embassies of various countries in China in the 1930s. There are many residences of important officials of the Republic of China government, and the residences of politicians gather here. The environment is beautiful and the transportation is convenient. The Yihe Road Residence District has residences of Jiang Weiguo, Marshall, Chen Cheng, Yan Xishan, Xue Yue and others. These celebrity residences and embassies (consulates) have their own characteristics in their courtyards and buildings. Some are luxurious, some are simple, some are fine, and some are rough. Each has its own story and records the changes of history. They are listed as provincial, municipal and district-level cultural relics protection units. The newly renovated area is the twelfth area, which is free for tourists to visit. The main entrance is on Jiangsu Road. There are hotels in the style of the Republic of China with high consumption levels. There are several exhibitions of the customs of the Republic of China in the buildings of the Republic of China, which are free for hotel guests to visit. The thirteenth and eleventh areas are being prepared for renovation. There is a three-story building from the Republic of China at the east end of Yihe Road. The first floor is the Yihe Road branch of Pioneer Bookstore, and the second floor is the planning exhibition of the Yihe Road Gongguan District in Gulou District. It is recommended that you come here first if you want to visit. The whole area covers Yihe Road, Ninghai Road, Jiangsu Road, Guling Road, Langya Road, etc. In addition, there is a general hall opposite Ninghai Middle School at the intersection of Ninghai Road and Beijing West Road, which has a marine defense theme exhibition and can be visited with children.

Now that the prosperity has faded, only the green shade along the road and nearly a hundred Western-style buildings with different styles and characteristics are left.

I read the travel guide and found that it was recommended by travellers, but when I came here, I found that it was not as good as I imagined. The streets were very quiet and there were not many people. The buildings were surrounded by walls, and the courtyards of some mansions could be entered. It might be that the local government wanted to protect the ancient buildings. If you are in a hurry, you can choose not to come here.

Catherine rode her bike on Jiangsu Road for 10 minutes, and then it was not on the same side as Yihe Road, but in a diamond-shaped diagonal position. Then she exited and walked into an alley, and it took more than ten minutes to reach the Shiziqiao Food Street.

There are many clusters of buildings from the Republic of China, and the scenery is beautiful. There are many cherry blossoms in this season, but there are also sycamore catkins. It is best to come here in the evening at sunset.

By I am Xizi |

Maybe we had too high hopes, but when we got there we were a little disappointed. The street view along the way was nice, and there were some distinctive buildings, but we couldn't go inside. The most we could do was pose for photos outside, and the experience was pretty average.

By Yiqi baby |

There are several very interesting roads. You can walk around them casually, but they are all protected. It's a pity that they can't be opened. You can only go to the Twelve Mansions area to see them. When you think about the people who lived here, they were all elites and top people. It's really exciting to think that the people living next to them are all great scholars and princes who divided the area.

By dyke |

Yihe Road is similar to Shanghai in layout, with only a short section of the road and a Pioneer Bookstore at the end, occupying a roundabout, also an old building. Some of the old houses on the street are abandoned, some are residential, some are marked for demolition, and some have been converted into boutique hotels and restaurants.

The house at No. 23 Yihe Road impressed me the most, mainly because it was surrounded by railings instead of walls. You can see the whole villa and imagine what it feels like to live in it, the furnishings and functions of each room. I wonder who the current owner is. Daydreaming.

In Nanjing Gulou District and Ninghai Road Roundabout, there are more than 200 residences of government officials, wealthy people and foreigners during the Republic of China period on Ninghai Road, Yihe Road, Guling Road, Mogan Road, Jiangsu Road and Beijing West Road. They were built one after another since 1920. It is the area with the most Republican buildings in China. All of them are independent small Western-style buildings with gardens. In recent years, after relocation, demolition of new buildings, and restoration of the original appearance, they were opened to the public in 2014 (some were converted into boutique hotels). Now there are mainly the former site of Wang Jingwei's residence, the Philippine Embassy, the Soviet Embassy, the Australian Embassy, the former site of Marshall's residence, etc. Walking here, it seems as if time has returned to the 1930s and 1940s.

The Yihe Road Mansion District is a high-end residential area provided by the Republic of China government for government officials in the 1930s. It is also the largest residential demonstration area implemented in accordance with the Capital Plan of the Republic of China. With the Ninghai Road Square Roundabout as the center, it radiates to Ninghai Road, Yihe Road, Guling Road, Mogan Road, Jiangsu Road, and Beijing West Road. There are more than 200 mansions of important officials of the Republic of China government. It is the area with the most mansions in the Republic of China in China. Since the liberation, I don’t know why this area has basically not been developed and renovated. Most of the houses are still inhabited by residents. Walking on the road, there is really a feeling of time travel, as if back to the 1930s. At present, only the twelfth area of the Yihe Road Mansion District has been developed, with 26 mansion villas, and a hotel called Relais & Chateaux Nanjing Yihe Mansion, a real Republic of China style hotel. How is the hotel? Because it is too expensive to live in, I dare not comment on it, but the hotel is almost fully open. When I go there on weekends, the hotel is like a park, with people taking pictures and walking everywhere. Free, niche, Republican-style tourist destination, highly recommended.

As the saying goes, "One Yihe Road is half of the history of the Republic of China", Yihe Road has a strong Republican style. When I asked my companions where in Nanjing is suitable for taking photos, my companions took me here..

Photo Tips 1: Choose a clear evening, because the light and shadow are beautiful at this time, and you can also take backlit portraits. There are red lanterns on Yihe Road, and it looks good to take pictures casually.. The nearby walls are also great to take pictures of.

In addition to the main road, Yihe Road has many small side roads. I didn't see any shared bikes. Since there is a new view at every step, I suggest you take a walk, feel the beauty, and immerse yourself in the beauty.

We went there very early that day, and there were not many people on the streets. The streets were definitely spacious for walking, and it was wonderful to experience the inner joy that walking brings in the clean and quiet atmosphere!

The Yihe Mansion can be seen at a glance on the map. You don’t need to look for it deliberately. You will pass by it if you walk along the road. There are many newly renovated small houses in the style of the Republic of China.

Summary: Plan on taking about two hours, if you’re willing to get out and walk once in a while!

During the Republic of China period, Yihe Road was a place of debauchery, feasting and revelry, equivalent to the core area, bustling and bustling with people coming and going. Now that the prosperity has faded, only the green shade along the road and nearly a hundred Western-style buildings with different styles and characteristics are left.

When I got off the bus at the Ninghai Road roundabout, I saw the Pioneer Bookstore branch as soon as I got off the bus. It seems that Pioneer Bookstore has become a huge thing in Nanjing. Walking along Yihe Road, there are few cars and people on both sides of the road. The green of the French plane trees blocks the enthusiasm of the sun, and the walls covered with green radishes show the traces of time. One or two pieces of red bricks and green tiles are exposed on the tall walls, and the small eaves separate the windows, revealing a strong Republican style. There is an entrance in the middle of Yihe Road, which can lead to the Gongguan District, which has been converted into an accommodation hotel. In the Gongguan District, there are lush green shades, flowing water, blooming wild flowers, and ancient style. Waiters dressed in Republican costumes shuttle back and forth around, as if they have traveled back to that glorious era, which makes people involuntarily feel awe and lower their voices to express various admiration.

Standing between the small buildings, looking at the mottled green under the eaves, feeling the breeze in the afternoon sun, if you can stop here, holding a favorite book, a cup of fragrant tea, leaning on the touch of a bamboo chair, listening to the swaying of leaves, it would probably be a reappearance of the scene back then, right? There is a special exhibition of the customs of the Republic of China in the small building, but because we arrived at an unlucky time, it was close to the end of the working day and the ticket sales had stopped, so we had to leave with regret.

There are a lot of cars, and many houses are inside the walls and cannot be seen. Except for those buildings that have been converted into hotels or other commercial purposes, the others look dilapidated. The petty bourgeoisie may like it. It is indeed not as good as the online reviews. There is a marine education base near the Mogan Road bus station. You can visit it for free if you register your ID card. It is worth a look.

A very quiet and comfortable tourist attraction. The buildings inside are so beautiful, and there is basically no commercial atmosphere. People who come here are very quiet and walk around by themselves without making any noise. It feels really great.

The commercialization is a bit serious. The houses have been converted into hotels. It lacks a lot of the flavor of the Republic of China.

The standard tourist attractions of the petty bourgeoisie and the Republic of China, I couldn't put down my camera along the way. The most beautiful part of the whole area is Yihe Road. If you want to go inside to visit, the twelfth area on Jiangsu Road has been built into the Yihe Mansion Modern Culture Experience Hotel, which is open to the public free of charge. You can go in and take pictures even if you don't stay at the hotel. There are also various exhibitions in the hotel, and tickets are charged. It's about 10 to 20 yuan.

It was recommended by Toutiao today, saying that you can come here alone. I just sent my parents back to the train station and came here alone. These are all buildings preserved from the Republic of China period. It has a unique flavor. When you come here, find a sunny day for better photo effects.

Yihe Road is half of the history of the Republic of China and has a quiet environment.

It is especially suitable for taking photos and reminiscing about the past. Strolling along the street and looking at the buildings on the street, it really feels like the Republic of China. The suggestion is to walk slowly!

The Ming Dynasty building complex has many small houses, which are very exquisite and free. It is a good place to shoot outdoor scenes.

The Yihe Road Gongguan District is an old Republican-era building complex that has been inhabited for a long time and is well preserved. There are French plane trees planted on both sides of the streets in the area, which is also a scenic spot.

The mysterious Yihe Mansion area. Some houses are abandoned, some are closed, and some are luxurious. Passing by a foreign trade store that is closed on weekends and only open from 11 to 16 o'clock during the week, I can imagine a gangster's den in my mind. After all, the people living in places like Yihe Road seem unfathomable.

The trees on the roadside are very thick and there are few tourists. It is suitable for strolling. I like the blogger @艾格吃饱了 very much. He said that he always stays in the Yihe Mansion every time he comes to Nanjing. I just want to say that it is too expensive.

There are various former residences here. If you want to take a closer look, you can get a free map at the semicircular Pioneer Bookstore at the end of the road.

On the way to the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge, I walked for a while on Beijing Road and Yihe Road. Although this is a concentration of residential buildings and foreign mansions from the Republic of China, they are all deeply hidden within high walls and not open to the public. They are not worth appreciating, but it is suitable for those who like to take a walk here.

This place is suitable for walking, breathing, and experiencing art film shooting

If you don't have a special feeling and time, I don't recommend going a long way to the Yihe Road Mansion. I don't think there's anything to see. These buildings are well protected, which shows the government's intentions. However, most of the buildings are still inhabited, so it's not convenient to visit, and it can't disturb everyone's normal life. So, unless you have almost visited Nanjing, I really don't recommend it.

I like the elegance and mottled style of the Republic of China. I originally planned to go to Taiwan, but the vacation was not good, so I came to Nanjing alone. I stayed at the Home Inn on Yihe Road, which is convenient for visiting the Gongguan District of Yihe Road. I like the black tiles and yellow walls here, as well as the lush sycamore leaves. There are few people and cars in the whole area, which is very quiet and comfortable. The buildings are basically kept in their original appearance without too much modern decoration. It is suitable for daydreaming, taking photos, and pursuing, to feel the passionate and turbulent era of the Republic of China!

Many guides have been here, so on the second day of the Qingming Festival, my friend took me to Yihe Road. The buildings on both sides of the street are quite historic. Rows of French plane trees stand neatly beside the road. The tender green leaves of the plane trees are sparse and just cover the sky. It is very pleasing to the eye. But! Yes! Why are there so many cars today? !

The Gongguan area has been converted into a restaurant and cafe, and there are some small exhibitions, which is very unique.

Take the bus to Jiangsu Road and get off. The Republican-style houses give people a false sense of pride in their backyard. Basically, it has been converted into a hotel, and very few of them can be visited and open at 10 am.

The path next door is very quiet and is a good place to walk the dog. In the middle of the roundabout is the Pioneer Bookstore Yihe Road, where you can take photos freely, so it’s not strange to see people taking photos.

Close to it are Shanxi Road and Gulou Park, and you can also visit the Gulou campus of Nanjing University.

It's a very quiet road with a sense of historical sedimentation. If you are lucky, you will come across a cafe, sit inside, listen to music, and the afternoon will pass by.

The feelings of the Republic of China under the sycamore trees, Yihe Road is half of the history of the Republic of China. The 12th block of Yihe Road Mansion has now jumped into the eyes of tourists. Fengfeng experts who come to Nanjing have flocked here, strolling under the sycamore trees, looking at these exquisite small Western-style buildings, tasting mellow coffee, reminiscing about the history of the Republic of China, and telling the dignitaries who once lived here and the historical stories of the past.

The 12th Block of Yihe Mansion is located in Nanjing Gulou District. You can take bus No. 3 or No. 8 to Jiangsu Road and get off there. There is no entrance fee. Visitors can wander freely in the scenic area and take a rest under the umbrella shed when they are tired. The various small Western-style buildings in the scenic area have been transformed into leisure resorts, dining areas, and leisure areas. Various trees and flowers compete for beauty here.

After leaving the scenic area, you can take a walk on Yihe Road. The tall plane trees block the scorching sun. Strolling in this alley will surely make you feel calm and refreshed.

At the top of Ninghai Road is a Pioneer Bookstore, with several alleys radiating out from here as a roundabout. They are all so quiet that you can walk anywhere and will never get lost.

You can get a map of this area at the Pioneer Bookstore in Jiangsu Road Square.
