I started my tour of Zhongshan Scenic Area in the afternoon of the first day and visited it from the morning to noon of the second day. Overall, I was quite tired. Just like going to the Forbidden City in Beijing, if you come to Nanjing and have not even been to the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, then you have not been to Nanjing.

It's all because of the poor planning. Except for the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, which requires reservations, other attractions can be entered at any time with tickets.

You can buy sightseeing bus tickets at the scenic spot ticket office. The one-way ticket is 10 yuan/trip, and the unlimited ride on the same day is 50 yuan/person. We chose the unlimited ride, and each person will be given a magnetic wristband.

In fact, after entering the scenic area, I found that I could ride a bicycle or walk on the wooden plank road inside the scenic area. There were also lush sycamore trees on both sides of the road. If there were not so many people, it would be a very pleasant thing to do morning exercises, strolls, and ride bicycles here.

The whole Zhongshan is like a forest park. In addition to the paid scenic spots, there are many free attractions. However, it was my first time here and I didn't know the situation. I could only follow the crowds and become a tourist. If I were to choose again, I would prefer not to buy tickets and just walk around Zhongshan.

There are package tickets for sale at the ticket office at the entrance of Meiling Palace. The 200 yuan ticket includes Meiling Palace, Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, Linggu Temple, Music Stage and Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum. Of course, Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum is free. However, if you have time to go, it is cheaper to buy a package ticket.

Also, the tourist route must be clear. If you want to visit all these spots, you must follow the advice on the package. We should go to the fifth gate of Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum after coming out of Meiling Palace, but we went to the seventh gate by mistake, which is equivalent to going back and forth in a big circle. This is a mountain road and there are few bicycles, so we really walked our legs off that day. In addition, there are tourist sightseeing buses here, which cost ten yuan per person per trip. If you are really too lazy to walk, you can take it, but why do you come here if you don’t walk, right? Please note that the Linggu Temple scenic area is quite far away. If you take a sightseeing bus, you need to buy two tickets, which is 20 yuan. It is recommended to take a taxi on the spot. One car will only cost more than 20 yuan, which is much more cost-effective.

There is nothing special to introduce about Zhongshan Scenic Area. It is just a very large scenic area. Just walk around and take a look. Pay attention to planning your route because it is really tiring. Bring more water with you. There are many grandpas and grandmas selling water and popsicles on the road. They are not expensive.

It is recommended to come in the morning. If you can't finish the tour in an afternoon, the attractions will close early. The combined ticket for the five attractions can be purchased online. I bought it online for 95 yuan. There is a lot of walking, so it is better to wear comfortable clothes and sports shoes.

In general, Zhongshan Scenic Area is worth visiting. It is also very pleasant to walk slowly under the shadows of the sycamore trees. Since the scenic area is relatively large, different tourists can make choices.

When buying tickets, some people think that it is not far to walk to the Meiling Palace. But believe me, unless you come here with the mentality of climbing a mountain, you should take a sightseeing bus up the mountain. Although it only takes three or five minutes to get to the Meiling Palace, if you walk up the mountain, your legs will be broken at the beginning of the day. (Of course... The bird droppings on the claws are secondary. The main thing is that your arms will really be scratched red, and those with tender skin may be scratched. Children should approach with caution.
