I grew up drinking the water of Taihu Lake. Whether it is the Taihu Lake in Wuxi, the Taihu Lake in Suzhou or the Taihu Lake in Huzhou, Taihu Lake is one of the best among the major freshwater lakes in China.

Suzhou's Taihu Scenic Area actually includes many small scenic spots such as Dongshan, Xishan, Sanshan Island, Shigong Mountain, etc. You can taste the three whites of Taihu Lake during a day of sightseeing. I personally hiked 10 kilometers in the early morning at Dongshan, Taihu Lake in Suzhou. Taihu Lake is located on the southern edge of the Yangtze River Delta. It was called Zhenze and Juqu in ancient times, and is also known as Wuhu and Lizhe.
