According to the Buddhist classic "The Original Path Sutra", the Buddha Shakyamuni could talk and walk as soon as he was born. He took seven steps in each of the four directions, east, south, west and north. With each step, a lotus flower bloomed on the ground. He pointed to the sky with one hand and the ground with the other, and said, "I am the only one who is supreme in heaven and on earth." Suddenly, two pools of water appeared in the garden, and nine giant dragons appeared in the sky, spewing out water jets to bathe him. This story is very magical and makes people think a lot.

The large-scale musical dynamic sculpture group "Nine Dragons Bathing, Buddha Appearing When Flowers Bloom" in Lingshan Scenic Spot reproduces the splendid scene in the story. In the Nine Dragons Bathing Square, we can see a huge bronze sculpture of a lotus bud about to bloom standing in front. The huge lotus is held up by four mighty strongmen, and the bottom is set off by a white round marble pool. Nine flying dragons and eight donors of different shapes surround the huge pool.

A huge bronze sculpture of a lotus bud about to bloom stands on the Jiulong Bathing Square. The huge lotus is held up by four mighty strongmen, and the bottom is set off by a white round marble pool. Nine flying dragons and eight donors of different shapes surround the huge pool. The large-scale musical dynamic group sculpture "Jiulong Bathing, Flowers Bloom and Buddha Appears" in Lingshan Shengjing reproduces the story of the birth of Buddha Sakyamuni. When the music of "Birth of Buddha" is played, the six huge lotus petals slowly bloom, and a 7.2-meter-high golden body Prince Buddha statue, one hand pointing to the sky and the other pointing to the ground, slowly rises from the lotus. At this time, nine dragons spray out dozens of meters high water columns from their mouths to bathe the Prince Buddha statue. In an instant, drums and music sounded in all directions of the square, and fountains were in various shapes and forms. The Prince Buddha statue circled clockwise in the huge water curtain, symbolizing "Buddha appears when flowers bloom" and "Buddha's light shines everywhere." As the music faded, the lotus petals wrapped around the Prince Buddha statue slowly closed. Clean water flowed from the mouths of the eight groups of phoenixes around the fountain for tourists to drink.

You have to watch the Buddha's birth musical fountain performance. This large musical dynamic group sculpture "Nine Dragons Bathing" is a perfect reproduction of the magical scene of "Buddha appearing when flowers bloom" when Buddha Shakyamuni was born. The large musical fountain dynamic group sculpture "Nine Dragons Bathing" perfectly reproduces the scene when Buddha Shakyamuni was born. At every auspicious time, music plays, lotus flowers are covered with auspicious mist, lotus petals bloom, and the gilded Prince Buddha, 7.2 meters high, slowly rises, and thousands of fountains rise into the sky; Nine dragons spew spiritual energy, and when the lotus fully blooms, the nine dragons spray water to form a huge water curtain more than 30 meters high to bathe the Buddha.

The "Eight Merits" water flowing out from around the Jiulong Bathing Fountain can be collected in your own empty bottle and drunk directly.

The Nine Dragons Bathing is located in the square of Lingshan Buddha. It is the largest group of bronze sculptures with music and dynamics in China, telling the story of the birth of Sakyamuni. The Nine Dragons Bathing will have a fountain show. Suddenly, nine dragons will spray water from their mouths to bathe the golden body of the small Buddha statue. Then the lotus will slowly close up. The scene is extremely shocking. You can see the Lingshan Buddha in the distance at the Nine Dragons Bathing. Tourists take photos at the Nine Dragons Bathing.

Jiulong Guanyu is a large-scale music dynamic sculpture in Lingshan Scenic Spot. When the flower blooms, you can see the Buddha. In Jiulong Guanyu Square, we can see a huge bronze sculpture of a lotus bud about to bloom standing in front. The huge lotus is held up by four mighty strongmen.

The bottom is lined with a white round marble pool, surrounded by nine flying dragons and eight donors of different shapes. It is a large musical fountain showing the birth of the Buddha.

At a fixed time, the lotus on the top will bloom and music will play, but it’s not interesting…

The Nine Dragons Bathing is an eye-catching sight in Lingshan Scenic Area. Many people gathered around to watch.

By March light rain |

The Nine Dragons Bathing was really impressive and spectacular. It showed that when the Buddha was born, nine dragons bathed him. The water column would swing with the music, and at the climax, nine dragons would spray more than 30 meters of water to wash the small Buddha statue. At the end, the broadcast said that you could drink the holy water from the peacock below to bless yourself. My colleague had diarrhea immediately after drinking the holy water and didn't eat for two days.

When the fountain first started, I was just shocked. It was only a long time later that I realized that it was a portrayal of Sakyamuni's birth. It was a very thoughtful design.

A rather majestic (musical) fountain that starts five times a day at a fixed point.

When the fountain is started, the closed lotus on the top of the middle column will open with the music, and the statue of the prince will appear and rotate once.

Visitors can see the front of the prince statue from all angles without having to squeeze through the crowds.

The Nine Dragons Bathing tells the story of the Buddha's birth. The petals slowly open, and then the fountain begins to bathe. The dragons around the fountain will spray water for people to drink.

By Girl, it's too late. |

The show is at 11:30 and is worth watching. The best angle is to face the Buddha and turn your back to the exit.

The Nine Dragons Bathing is a large-scale dynamic sculpture of a musical fountain. On sunny days, rainbows will appear where the fountain passes, adding a sense of holiness. The performance times of the Nine Dragons Bathing are 10:00, 11:30, 13:00, 14:45, and 16:45. The performances may be adjusted during holidays or special circumstances. Please refer to the actual situation. In fact, if you watch it live, it is not as exciting as you imagine. After the bathing, spring water will flow out of the mouths of 9 dragons, and many people will compete to drink water. I don’t like crowds, so I didn’t join in the fun. Another thing is that I am worried about the hygiene of the water. It is not a mountain spring or anything else. If it is fountain water, then it will be a pity.

By KingBoss White Rabbit |

In the middle of the pool, a huge golden lotus slowly opened up and a baby Buddha appeared, enjoying the nine dragons spraying water and raining around. The scene was quite shocking. For a moment, accompanied by the magnificent music, I actually wanted to cry...

After the bath, the fountains around will spray out pure water, and everyone will rush to drink it to get some good fortune...

The most worth-seeing scenery in Lingshan Scenic Spot is that you must wait for the music to start, the whole blooming process is very wonderful.

The little Buddha is so cute. The whole process is to watch him stand up from the lotus, take a bath, and sit down again. If you are tired of walking around the scenic area, you can take this opportunity to take a break. The following sculptures are also very good.

I thought the show was over, so I quickly went to a place with few people to take a photo, but suddenly a huge wave of water sprayed out and I was soaked.

Water was dripping from the mouth of the stone dragon next to it. Since we didn't have a bottle to collect the water, my boyfriend and I washed our hands. We thought we could get some Buddha's blessing.

The Nine Dragons Bathing is located in the Lingshan Scenic Area in Wuxi. It is a large-scale music dynamic group sculpture in the scenic area! The so-called "Nine Dragons Bathing, Flowers Blooming to See Buddha" is exactly this scene. It is said that Sakyamuni Buddha could walk and talk as soon as he was born. He took seven steps in the four directions of southeast, northwest, and northeast. With each step, a lotus flower bloomed on the ground. He pointed to the sky with one hand and the ground with the other, and chanted "I am the only one in the world, and I am the only one in the world." Suddenly, nine giant dragons appeared in the sky, spitting out water to bathe him. The Nine Dragons Bathing presents this scene! When you first arrive at the Nine Dragons Bathing Square, a lotus bud stands in the center. The huge lotus is held up by four mighty strongmen. As the music plays, the petals of the lotus gradually open. When the golden Buddha in the bud is fully exposed, the nine dragons on the ground spit out water together, and the water sprays directly at the golden Buddha to bathe it. The scene is very spectacular!

There are fixed sessions every day, and it is a must-see for tour groups, so you have to find a good spot early. However, sometimes you can't see it if you are too close. You can also see it well if you are a little further away.

By Gentle cat on tiptoe |

The closed lotus is the Nine Dragons Bathing. The Nine Dragons Bathing is a scheduled performance. You can pay attention to the performance time. The lotus will slowly bloom and the platform in the middle will rotate 360 degrees, which probably means that all beings are equal and all beings are saved. The water in this fountain is called "Eight Meritorious Waters", which is the Buddhist "holy water". You can drink a cup of it when you arrive at Lingshan, or you can take it home in a bottle. It is said that drinking the "Eight Meritorious Waters" or using it to worship Buddha statues can protect you and your family and bring good luck and peace to everyone.

Nine dragons bathing, Buddha appears when flowers bloom, I must have heard of it before I went there. When the music starts, the petals around will slowly open, and you can see the Prince Buddha rising from the lotus, and then it will turn around with the music. The music is nice and the fountain is beautiful. Also, you must bring an empty mineral water bottle before you go, so you can drink the holy water to get rid of diseases, eliminate disasters and ensure safety. If you want to take pictures, you must choose a good location because there are many people.

The Nine Dragons Bathing is definitely another wonder of the Lingshan Buddha. I still remember the first time I went there, I only saw a pillar with a lotus bud on the top. No one knew what it was and said it looked like a precious lotus lantern. After we finished our tour and looked carefully at the entrance leaflet, we realized that this was the Nine Dragons Bathing. So we went to watch the last show. I saw the petals of the bud slowly opening outward, and the small golden Buddha inside was exposed a little at first. As the petals opened bigger and bigger, the whole small golden Buddha came out completely. Then there were the nine dragons below, spewing "holy water" from their mouths to wash the Buddha's body, and the small golden Buddha would rotate 360 degrees. After turning around, the "holy water" slowly decreased, the lotus slowly tightened, and finally the small golden Buddha hid in the lotus again. During this period, there will be a story about the Nine Dragons Bathing, but there are too many people and too many exclamations, so I basically can't hear anything. There are also many tourists who will go to the mouth of the Nine Dragons to receive the "holy water", but we didn't do that, hehe. You must watch the Nine Dragons Bathing when you go to the Lingshan Buddha.

Lingshan is the biggest attraction when we went to Wuxi. The most impressive thing for me was the Nine Dragons Bathing. When I first saw the Nine Dragons Bathing, I thought it was nothing special, just a statue. But on the way back, I saw the Nine Dragons Bathing. What impressed me the most was the Nine Dragons Bathing. Accompanied by music, fountains and a deep male commentary, a huge bronze lotus statue bathed in golden sunlight was rising and rotating, symbolizing the Buddha's light shining everywhere and seeing the Buddha when the flowers bloom. It is really beautiful. Opening time of the group sculpture "Nine Dragons Bathing"

Usually there are four shows every day at 10:00, 11:30, 14:30, and 16:30. Friends who go to Lingshan must watch it, otherwise it would be a pity.

The Nine Dragons Bathing Fountain is a musical fountain that introduces the birth of Sakyamuni.

By Martian User |

A must see. Our timing was perfect and we started right after we got near her.

It is actually a musical fountain with the theme of Sakyamuni's enlightenment. It was actually gray that day, but this fountain was actually bright and sunny from the beginning.

The music was very Buddhist, and the water spray reflected rainbows under the sun. There was also an audience interaction session, which asked everyone to prepare clean bottles and cups to receive holy water. It was so creative. It felt like people's souls were cleansed~~

By Backpacker nic |

The Nine Dragons Bathing lasts for about half an hour, so people who are not there may not be able to feel its magnificence.

When the sound is heard, the lotus above slowly opens and a Buddha statue appears. The fountain sprays at different heights at different time periods, and the best viewing effect is when it reaches the apex.

The performance ends when the Buddha statue slowly rotates 360 degrees and returns to its original position.

From time to time, tourists would drink the water spit out from the Phoenix's mouth, or wash their hands, which meant to keep safe.

Lingshan Scenic Area is located on the Mashan Peninsula of Taihu Lake. It cleverly borrows the ruins of the Tang Dynasty to build various Buddhist buildings in modern times. After years of construction, it is now quite imposing. On the day of the visit, the sky seemed to have just been washed, which made the Buddhist buildings look more peaceful and detached. The 88-meter bronze Buddha was quite shocking. The disadvantage is that the ticket price is too expensive.

The location is in the square just after entering the gate of Lingshan Buddha. Standing in this square, you can see the Lingshan Buddha in the distance. The square is not very big, but it is the only way to go to the Brahma Palace, the Five Seals Mandala, etc. The performance is divided into several sessions. Friends who are interested can check the specific schedule by themselves, but I personally don’t recommend this performance. A large group of people are waiting to start, and it is difficult to squeeze to the front (Chinese specialty - a lot of people). After the start, nine dragons will spray fountains out, accompanied by the square broadcasting the story of the Buddha’s nine dragons bathing. It is recommended to leave a little earlier and take the scenic area bus to the Brahma Palace to watch the performance. The time is just right. Otherwise, there will be many people waiting here to finish, and you may not be able to catch up to the Brahma Palace, wasting a lot of time.

The Nine Dragons Bathing is a major attraction of the Lingshan Buddha. It opens once every morning at a fixed time, about nine o'clock. Before it opens, many tourists will gather in front of the square and surround it. The radio will broadcast some knowledge about the origin and development of Buddhism, as well as the history of the Nine Dragons Bathing, etc. When it opens, a tall lotus seat begins to slowly open, very slowly, while rotating accompanied by the Buddhist music "Birth of the Buddha", and then you can slowly see a small Buddha statue slowly coming out, and then instantly the nine dragons around will spray water from their mouths, straight into the sky, bathing the small golden Buddha statue. At this time, the Buddha statue will slowly rotate, implying "seeing the Buddha when the flowers bloom, and the Buddha's light shines everywhere". The scene at this time is really quite spectacular and worth seeing. You can pray and make wishes. Then slowly the lotus closes, the Buddha statue hides, and returns to its original state. At this time, the eight phoenixes around will spray water from their mouths for tourists to enjoy. There are disposable paper cups available, and Buddhist stories are printed on the paper cups. This is not ordinary water, this is the holy water of Buddhism. Drinking it can report peace and pray for blessings. Everyone will come to take a sip.
