The tour guide recommended that we take the round-trip cable car for 100 yuan. I thought the scenery on the cable car side would be better, but it turned out to be disappointing. We met several tourists on the road. They said that the cable car could be taken one way, and they could see different scenery without going back. We bought a round-trip cable car, so we could only walk over and then walk back the same way. We walked for a long time, and I didn’t know if the several high streams we encountered were the waterfalls the tour guide said, and we didn’t see the obvious signs of Wolongtan. It was almost time to gather, and because we were tired, we didn’t continue to move forward. This is the most worthless scenic spot on this day. Perhaps if there is enough time, you will have a different feeling if you visit it carefully. (PS off-topic voice: You don’t have to take the cable car at all)

We started climbing at 10.30. We planned to hike up and then see if we could take the cable car (50/person one-way) or hike down. If we hike fast, we can reach the top in about 1 hour. There are streams and small waterfalls along the way. You can go down and play by yourself, but be careful because many stones are very slippery. We walked slowly because we liked to play on the stone beach on the way, so we stopped and walked slowly. It took us 1.5 hours to reach the top of the mountain. It was a pity that there were two long bridges under maintenance so we didn't walk. There are two waterfalls on the top of the mountain, Bailong Waterfall and Dalong Waterfall, which are two different roads to walk. Because Dalong Waterfall was closed, we took Bailong Waterfall. After seeing the sign, we walked for more than ten minutes and it was almost there. There is a route sign every about 1/3 of the way. Wolong Mountain is to hike for a while, then take the cable car, and then hike for less than half an hour to the top. After the cable car, there is a cable car after walking for more than ten minutes, which is 30/person and the distance is quite short. Hiking is indeed a bit tiring, and I have a little tinnitus, which may be because there is water along the way. Then we took the cable car down the mountain. It took about ten minutes to walk after getting off the cable car. At the foot of the mountain, we ate sweet potatoes (5/jin), tea eggs (2/piece), bamboo rice (2/piece), and fried rice cakes (15/portion). Because we were hungry, we thought they were delicious!

The biggest surprise of this trip to Wuyuan is that the southern valley is so picturesque, with clear water and green mountains. The spring is full of vitality, and the emerald pools are so soothing and nourishing to walk among!

It sees the changes of the four seasons, the colors of the woods change from thick to light, and the flowers blooming in the late spring.

The northern route is the farthest attraction, and we took the cable car up and down to save time. It's not the season now, and there is basically no water in the Dalong and Bailong waterfalls. If you are not in a hurry, you can come and take a look. It's also nice to walk up slowly and breathe fresh air instead of taking the cable car.

It is not recommended to come here in this season. It is a rip-off. It costs 50 yuan to go up the cable car and 50 yuan to go down the cable car. The waterfall is dry when you take the cable car. There is only a small stream. Another waterfall is closed. We took the baby up and had to spend another 100 yuan to take the cable car down! I took the baby on a cable car... It is recommended to wait until the rainy season to see the waterfalls.

Tianlong Waterfall and Bailong Waterfall are the highlights of the valley, but they are really small. (Forget about the artificial waterfall) The round trip cable car costs 100 yuan. It feels good to take selfies in the cable car (because the light is good haha)

1. Shuttle bus from Wuyuan County Old North Station to Wolong Valley: 7:00, 8:30 (there should be more after that, every hour and a half, but we didn't take it, so it's not guaranteed)

2. The above buses pass through Qinghua Town at 7:30 and 9:00 (wait for the bus in front of the Rural Commercial Bank in Qinghua Town)

3. Shuttle bus from Wolong Valley: 12:20, 2:30, 3:30 (the driver may leave ten minutes earlier if there is no one around, so it is safest to go and wait twenty minutes earlier)

There is also a cable car inside. You can take the cable car when you are tired. The mountains and waters in the scenic area are very pleasant. The waterfall is very spectacular on a rainy day. It is worth a visit.

Wuyuan is worth visiting besides the rapeseed flowers. I personally think it has the charm of Mount Lushan. After climbing a section of the mountain road, you will reach the ticket gate. You can enter with a fingerprint check for the Wuyuan pass. If you buy a ticket separately, it seems to be 30 yuan per person. There is a cable car going up and down the mountain at the entrance. It costs 120 yuan per person. If you are physically exhausted and want to see the scenery, it is recommended to take the cable car. It is safe, convenient and saves time. We have plenty of time and we are all young people, so we choose to walk up slowly by ourselves. Climbing up along the stream, the air is very humid, and it feels as comfortable as a mask on the face. The vegetation coverage rate of Wolong Valley is particularly high, and there are dense numbers of plants everywhere. The stream is green, and the photos taken are very photogenic. Many places at the bottom of the stone are covered with moss, so you need to pay attention to your feet when you go there. It's a very good scenic spot. It takes about three to four hours to walk slowly, so leave more time.

There is a built passage for tourists to play, but it is not too commercialized. People from big cities can come here to vent their moods. There are many waterfalls here. The water is very cool and clear and can be drunk directly. Anyway, I just drank my own foot washing water haha. I think my subconscious wanted me to step on the water and then I really stepped on it accidentally. It’s okay. . It’s just a matter of a pair of socks. . I heard from the tour guide that they would come here to take a bath in summer, even women would, haha. I forgot whether this is Yuantou Village or Xitou Village. Anyway, it is the source of the stream flowing through Wuyuan. Almost every family will have a big pond like Figure 8, and it is densely packed with fish. These fish are herbivores. I felt a little intensive phobia when I saw it for the first time. . But it will be fine after you get used to it.

Although it is a tourist attraction, Wolong Valley is highly recommended. The valley is full of rugged rocks, the mountains are steep, the top of the mountain is shrouded in clouds and mist, and a small stream flows down from top to bottom. In some places the water flows rapidly, and in other places the water flows very thinly. There is also a small waterfall flowing down near the top of the valley.

But fortunately, compared with the famous mountains and rivers in China, Wolong Valley is not that difficult. I didn't read the introduction of Wolong Valley. After climbing down, I found that it was actually a natural mountain spring formed from top to bottom between the two mountains. The steep part is a waterfall, and the flat part is a spring stream. There are many short stone bridges connecting the two mountains. You can step on the rocks and play in the water, or you can quietly soak your feet in the water and feel the water flowing through your feet. We chose the cable car to go down the mountain because we had to consider physical strength with children. It is still very fulfilling to sit in the cable car and overlook the winding mountain trail that you have climbed. Sitting in the cable car at a high place, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery between the clouds and mist.

The Bailong Waterfall on the top of the mountain is the largest waterfall here, with a drop of more than 100 meters, which is very spectacular. The whole climbing time is about 1 hour, and it takes more than 2 hours if you are slower. You can go down the mountain along the original route, and the total up and down time is about 3-4 hours. If you don't want to walk, there is a round trip cable car in the scenic area, which costs 50 yuan for a one-way trip and 100 yuan for a round trip. The one-way cable car takes about 15 minutes. I suggest that you take the cable car up the mountain and walk down the mountain by yourself, so that you can overlook the scenery of Wolong Valley. The cable car is not air-conditioned and it is very stuffy
