Located in Jiudie Valley in the southeast of Lushan Scenic Area, it is known as the "First Wonder of Lushan".
The water falls from the north cliff of Wulao Peak, impacting three levels of rocks to form a "three-fold" with a total drop of 155 meters, which is very magnificent.
The scenery of San Diequan varies in each season. In late spring and early summer, the water volume is large and you can see the cascading waterfall. This is the best time to enjoy San Diequan.

Let's first talk about the 80 yuan cable car to San Diequan. If you have good leg strength, you really don't need to take this cable car. The cable car only goes to the steps, and the whole section is flat. You still have to walk up the steps after getting off the car. We hiked this section in 30 minutes if fast, 45 minutes to 1 hour if slow, and it was not tiring at all.
The end of the cable car road is the beginning of the mountain trail. It's a big vertical downhill all the way. Take a deep breath and get ready. There is a small house at the beginning where you must pass. You will get a card to prove that you came from the Lushan Scenic Area. It is said that you can go directly up to the scenic area from the downhill direction. If you don't have a card, you need to buy a mountain ticket.
Please pay attention to the special reminder on the red sign: 2,600 steps round trip are no joke, it is equivalent to going down the mountain and then returning the same way.
Although it was easy to go down the mountain, it was still very tiring to walk up the vertical continuous steps. Coupled with the hot weather, you would be sweating all over after walking for a while. Many people went down the mountain the other way around.
Halfway through the walk, you can hear the sound of rushing water. This section of the road is comparable to that of Mount Huashan. After climbing down 1,300 steps, you can finally see the "legendary" Sandiequan. If you only take this waterfall, its scale is spectacular and beautiful. Of course, it is not compared with other large waterfalls. If you climb the steps for two hours back and forth, plus a round-trip of one or two hours, just to see a waterfall, don't have too high expectations~
The effect is better when viewed from a distance, and it is really cool standing in front of the waterfall.
There will be a section of the road where you need to take a small train. The ticket price is 80 yuan per person. I have been to famous mountains and rivers such as Mount Tai, Mount Hua, and Mount Heng, but the stairs of Sandiequan still made me sweat. They are long and steep. Friends with poor leg strength should consider taking a sedan chair for 800 yuan. I can hear the sound of rushing water from a long distance. I have been going down the stairs. The stairs are very steep. I feel that this section of the road is comparable to Mount Huashan. Due to the overall width, Sandiequan is not particularly majestic, but more of a trickling beauty. It takes about two hours to go to this attraction alone. The scenery along the way is still very good. Follow the footsteps of the gradually fading clouds and mist, and find the place where light and shadow play.
Maybe it's too early.
The mountain road is rugged.
The vast green bamboo is really difficult to clean.
I just want to wait for the wind to blow,
Brush away the dead leaves on the bluestone steps.
Maybe it's too early.
Your appearance,
It's like the figure of a young girl who has never been slimmer.
What I saw was not,
The Milky Way falls,
It was the shyness that the little girl was hiding.
I think it was in a dream,
You and I meet in the vast sea of fog.
You have your persistence.
I have my confusion.
Although our hearts yearn for each other,
Although our bodies are interdependent,
But we are going in different directions.
You are on top of that mountain,
Flying along the way with a carefree feeling.
I am at the foot of the mountain,
Climb with all my might.
You looked back and smiled at me three times,
I didn't feel a thing.
I just look up to find you on the top of the mountain.
Maybe there is too little fate.
Standing on the top of the mountain,
Where else can I find your beautiful appearance?
I just want to wait for the wind to blow,
The breeze brings a hint of the soft fragrance of your hair.
Maybe it was God's trick,
No love,
When we met each other and looked back, the horizon was already there.
Only the Weicheng song,
Wrapped around the ears,
You know me, I miss you, and my heart remains unchanged.
Sandiequan
Written by Wang Long of Huangzhou on February 26, 2017
Don't take the cable car. 80 yuan only covers less than one-third of the journey. It's still nice to walk along the small canyon and enjoy the scenery. The waterfall falls three thousand feet straight down, and it seems that the Milky Way falls from the sky. Remember, the famous quote is not about here, but about Xiufeng! The water in Sandiequan is much smaller now, and the most important thing is that the steps up and down are too torturous. I counted them myself, and there are about 1,500 steps (may not be accurate), the key is that it is steep.
Sandie Spring, also known as Sanji Spring or Shuilian Spring, is located in Jiudie Valley in the southeast of Lushan Scenic Area and is known as the "First Wonder of Lushan". It is not a spring but a waterfall. The water falls from the northern cliff of Wulao Peak and hits three levels of rocks to form "Sandie". The total drop is more than 200 meters, which is very magnificent. There is a saying that "If you have not visited Sandie Spring, you are not considered a Lushan tourist".
To enter from the east gate of Mount Lushan, you must first take an electric car to the entrance of the hiking trail. From the entrance to Sandiequan, you have to cross five bridges in total. It takes an hour to reach Sandiequan Waterfall at a normal speed. The ancients called Sandiequan Waterfall "Kuanglu Waterfall, and it is known as "the first wonder of Mount Lushan." It is formed by the confluence of streams from Dayue Mountain and Wulao Peak, flowing out from Dayue Mountain, passing through the back of Wulao Peak, and pouring into the large flat stone from the hanging mouth of the north cliff. It then cascades to the second-level large flat stone, and then sprays to the third-level flat stone, forming three layers, hence the name; the momentum is like a galloping horse, the sound is like a huge bell, and the total drop is 155 meters. The ancients described it as: "The upper level is like floating clouds dragging a train, the middle level is like broken stones breaking ice, and the lower level is like a jade dragon walking in a pool. It is extremely spectacular and soul-stirring.
San Diequan, the symbol of Lushan Mountain, is a scene in front of you. To see San Diequan, you need to go through the challenge of long steps, rushing down the turbulent water.
The 8th small scenic spot on the first day, this is a must-see place in Lushan. There are slogans everywhere on Lushan: If you haven't been to San Diequan, you are not a Lushan tourist! This time I planned to walk up and take the cable car down as usual. Unexpectedly, the last downhill before San Diequan was so steep and long. It was quite tiring to climb, and it felt no less than climbing the Great Wall. In the future, when there is a cable car, I will prepare to take the cable car up and down. It hasn't rained recently, the water volume is small, and San Diequan is not very spectacular, but seeing waterfalls is a matter of luck. It's good to see it. San Diequan reminds me of the waterfall in Dalongqiu in Wenzhou. After going down the mountain, my legs were weak, and there were too many people queuing for the bus during the National Day, which took a lot of time. I can only stop here today.
[Kuanglu Waterfall, the first choice is Sandiequan] In the morning, go to Lushan from Nanchang via Jiujiang, climb Wulao Peak in the afternoon in the rain, and watch Sandiequan Waterfall. As the saying goes, "If you have not been to Sandiequan, you are not considered a visitor to Lushan." Sandiequan is located in the north of Wulao Peak and the south of Jiudieping. The spring water flows out from Dayue Mountain through the cliff of Wulao Peak and falls in three levels, hence the name "Sandiequan". The spring water has a drop of 215 meters. Sandiequan is a national 5A scenic spot, located 26 kilometers away from Jiujiang City. It is a hilly tourist destination that integrates dangerous peaks, strange rocks, waterfalls and flowing springs.
The whole journey was a hike. Before I could react, I had reached the three thousand steps of the legendary Sandie Spring, which was said to make people cry. When I arrived, I thought I was at the Sandie Spring. It was probably like a pony crossing a river. The experience you have experienced is different, and the perspectives of appreciation and complaint are also different.
The water volume is small, and it is probably not yet at its peak, but it is not disappointing.
After coming out, we took the cable car to the suspension bridge.
There are several places to take the cable car in Lushan
The babies in the lower reaches of Lushan must be reminded
San Diequan promised to put it at the end of the itinerary
Otherwise, you will only have leg pain.
Climbing San Diequan is too tiring, go down the mountain first and then go up the mountain
It is recommended that elderly people who are too old and physically weak should not go down
Ancient people called it "Kuanglu Waterfall, the most recommended is the Triple Layer", and praised it as "the first wonder of Lushan Mountain". It is formed by the confluence of streams from Dayue Mountain and Wulao Peak, flowing out from Dayue Mountain, passing through the back of Wulao Peak, and pouring into the large stone from the north cliff, and then cascading to the second-level large stone, and then spraying to the third-level stone, forming a triple layer, hence the name. Historically, Triple Layer Spring had not been discovered for a long time. Li Bai, who lived in seclusion in Pingfeng Layer, its upper source, and Zhu Xi, who lectured in Bailu Cave, its lower reaches, did not know that there was such a beautiful place so close. It was not until the Xinhai Year of Shaoxi in the Southern Song Dynasty (AD 1191) that Triple Layer Spring was discovered and gradually won the reputation of the first landscape of Lushan Mountain. Since then, poets and celebrities of all generations have come to watch it and left many famous works. If you are physically fit, you don't need to take the cable car, and it takes less than an hour to walk one way.
There are three layers of waterfalls falling straight down.
The nine turns make the scenery even more amazing.
Every step I took I stopped and looked back in surprise.
Mount Lu has a thousand faces and a thousand beauties.
Erdiequan is a bit dangerous, don't miss Jiudiegu below Sandiequan
First go down and then go up, there are 2,600 steps back and forth. It is the most masochistic scenic spot in Lushan Mountain. When you see the spectacular San Diequan Waterfall on the observation deck, it is worth the trip.
It's easy to go down the mountain, but hard to go up the mountain. The waterfall is beautiful but not shocking. The three-stage waterfall is very unique.
If you haven't visited San Diequan, you are not a Lushan visitor. Whether there is water or not, it is worth a visit.
I searched for a long time but couldn't find Tonghu. The key problem is that the planning of the scenic area is not good. When you go down, you have to pay a 2 yuan deposit to buy a return card, which leads to a queue. After the tour, there are not enough sightseeing buses. But the scenery is still very good.
It's worth going. It's very tiring. I rested twice before coming up and drank half a bottle of Nongfu Spring water. In short, you must go and be prepared to pay. If you can't climb up, you can take a sedan chair for 1200+
After two hours of hiking, we looked at the small stream and then went down. Ticket management is not standardized, and there are many black tour guides, especially mountain people, who are clearly deceiving tourists from other places and cheating them out of their money, and they call it "living off the mountain".
"The waterfall drops three thousand feet straight down, as if the Milky Way falls from the sky." This was just a description in Li Bai's poem at the time, but in reality it is not three thousand feet.
There are several Sandie Springs in China, the most famous of which is Jiudie Valley in the southeast of Mount Lushan in Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province. It is a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction. It can be reached via the Lushan Tourist Highway. It is 26 kilometers away from Jiujiang City. It is a hilly tourist destination with dangerous peaks, strange rocks, waterfalls and springs. It was first discovered by woodcutters in the second year of Shaoxi in the Song Dynasty (1191), so there is a saying "Why did it lose its...
This place is very beautiful. I like it very much. I will bring her here next time.
After climbing Wulao Peak, we immediately went to Sandie Spring... I almost thought I couldn't walk back to Guling Town. When I walked to the bottom of the spring, I really felt the water splashing on my face, and the air was particularly moist and fresh.
The typical representative of Lushan Waterfall, the waterfall is divided into three layers. Now you can walk to the rocks in front of the second layer. The road is much easier than the first time I went to Lushan. If you have good physical strength, you will usually go to Lushan.
Looking at the Lushan Waterfall, the waterfall drops three thousand feet, it seems like the Milky Way falling from the sky.
After climbing Wulao Peak, you can walk along the road to the bottom of the mountain, and then follow the signs to reach Sandiequan. I saw in other people's travel notes that most itineraries include Pokou-Wulao Peak-Sandiequan, so I also followed this method. But I think this itinerary is a bit self-torture, especially after I climbed all five peaks, and then walked to Sandiequan step by step, climbing up step by step, I was really tired like a dog. Therefore, I don't recommend others to play this way unless you really can't arrange the time.
When you arrive at the entrance of Sandiequan Scenic Area, you will encounter two choices, take the cable car or walk up. The round-trip ticket is 80, and the one-way ticket is 50. But this cable car can only reach the halfway point of the mountain, and the omitted distance is a flat and easy-to-walk road, so I decided to walk up by myself. After walking for about 40 minutes, I reached the halfway point of the mountain. At this time, there were more people on the road. Batches of old people and children got off the cable car and joined the team to encircle Sandiequan. At a stone gate, you need to exchange your Lushan ticket for a return card, with a deposit of 2 yuan. If you don't have this return card, you can't return to Lushan after visiting Sandiequan, unless you buy a new Lushan ticket. Because there are so many people playing, and the deposit is only 2 yuan, most people don't return the deposit on the return trip, but keep it as a souvenir.
Many celebrities have never been to this place. The main reason is that it is very difficult to get here. Although there is a cable car, you still need to hike back and forth on the steepest mountain road after taking the cable car.
Take a sightseeing bus to Sandiequan. Sandiequan is divided into two sections. The first section can be reached by cable car (or on foot), and the second section can only be reached by foot. The legendary Sandiequan is said to be more than 100 meters high, and the mountain is divided into upper, middle and lower layers. Unfortunately, the fog is too thick and the visibility is too small. I deeply feel that "I can't see the true face of Mount Lu because I am in this mountain".
Tip: On the way, we met an elderly tour group. They went down the mountain first, then went up to the east gate of Lushan Mountain from the foot of Jiujiang Mountain and entered Sandiequan. Then they returned after that, thus avoiding climbing those long steps.
It's so spectacular and shocking! Due to the misalignment of the rocks, the waterfall is divided into three sections. The powerful sound of flowing water hits the heart directly. Although the Sandiequan Waterfall is not the "Lushan Waterfall" in Li Bai's poem, and this mountain is not the Xianglu Peak, I can feel the feeling of the waterfall coming out of nowhere. It seems like this is heaven on earth.
There is a saying in the local area that "If you haven't been to San Die Spring, you are not a visitor to Mount Lushan". Therefore, San Die Spring is a must-see attraction in Mount Lushan. There are two routes to San Die Spring. Many people think that you have to walk down from the top of Mount Lushan to see San Die. In fact, there is a more practical route, which is to go directly to San Die and look up from the bottom!
There is still a distance from the pick-up point of Sandiequan to the gate. It is recommended to take an electric car. This distance is 10 yuan, which is very worthwhile. The journey to Sandiequan takes about 45 to 60 minutes. Haha, I started a mountaineering trip again for the beautiful scenery, but Sandiequan is completely child's play for me who has already climbed Xiufeng. Since there is no cable car, this place has become a profit point for sedan chair bearers. The traditional industry has once again rejuvenated business opportunities in scenic spots. The price is eight yuan per catty, and the price is clearly marked according to the distance between each bridge and the top of the mountain. It seems that it costs 560 from the bottom of the mountain to the waterfall viewing point, and 100 is reduced for each bridge. Along the way up, there are various views, including strange rocks, mountain houses, and geology. It is not too tiring to appreciate them all the way. There are also places to play with boats in the enclosure. It’s a pity that people who can’t climb the mountain can only miss these.
It is better to climb San Diequan from the east gate of Mount Lushan. It costs 80 yuan to go back and forth for ten minutes.
"If you haven't been to San Diequan, you are not a visitor to Mount Lushan" ~ But this San Diequan is almost a "trickling stream" ~ hahahaha
The drop of San Die Spring is indeed quite large, but due to its overall width, I really don't think it is particularly majestic, especially compared with waterfalls such as Detian Waterfall and Huangguoshu Waterfall. Considering that you have to climb a mountain road to see San Die Spring, it takes nearly two hours, plus walking and taking the cable car (you need to buy a separate ticket for 80 yuan for round trip), it will take half a day in total, and the energy and physical strength will be consumed. Whether it is worth it depends on your personal schedule. If you have more than two days in Lushan, consider San Die Spring.
It was a bit tiring to go there on a rainy day, but it was worth it. 3 hours round trip.
When I went to Mount Lushan this year, I encountered a rare and extremely dense fog. I wasted a day. Later, I didn't go to San Diequan from Mount Lushan, but climbed San Diequan from the East Gate of Mount Lushan at the foot of Mount Lushan. San Diequan has the reputation of "Kuanglu Waterfall, it should be San Die", and "If you don't go to San Diequan, you are not a Lushan guest". In fact, when I went there, especially when I stood by San Diequan, it was really shocking. It was worth the trip and it was a highly recommended attraction. Speaking of the waterfalls in Mount Lushan, everyone may have different perceptions. There are several waterfalls in Mount Lushan, and three of them are more famous. The first is naturally San Diequan, which is known as the first waterfall in Kuanglu. The San Diequan with a drop of 155 meters is as majestic as a rainbow. It is indeed a well-known waterfall in China. The second is Xiufeng Waterfall in Xingzi County under Mount Lushan, which is the waterfall described by Li Bai in "Looking at the Waterfall of Mount Lushan". The third is the Dakou Waterfall near Hanpokou in Mount Lushan. That one is a pit. It is artificially promoted and exported, and it is also a punch-in place for tour groups. Therefore, San Diequan is the most recommended, followed by Xiufeng Waterfall. Actually, after visiting San Diequan, you don’t need to visit the other places. Of course, if you have enough time and money, you can visit them all.
The water in the pond is so clear, it is very comfortable to sit in it.
The Sandiequan Waterfall is very spectacular, but the scenery on the way to Sandiequan is average. There is a very good flight of stairs from the place where you buy the return card to the Sandiequan Waterfall, which can help you exercise your will.
The sightseeing bus does not go directly, and you need to change to a small bus at Hanpokou. This means you have to wait for a long time for two buses. In fact, people with good physical strength do not need to buy sightseeing bus tickets at all.
When we arrived at the entrance of Sandiequan, there were so many people queuing for the cable car that we decided to walk there. This turned out to be a wise decision as the queue time was longer than the walking time, even though the cable car only took six minutes to drive, while the walking time took more than an hour.
After reaching the cable car station, the path down is steeper and the movement is slow due to the large number of people. There are also many sedan chair bearers waiting on the roadside, who are dedicated to carrying the exhausted people up from the bottom of the mountain, charging 10 yuan per pound.
When we reached the bottom, we reached the Sandiequan Observation Deck, and we walked down from the Observation Deck to exit the scenic area. The walk back from the Observation Deck was all uphill, and after a short rest, we rushed to the cable car station.
The waterfall drops three thousand feet, as if the Milky Way is falling from the sky!
At the checkpoint at the end of the mountain at Sandiequan, each person needs to purchase a return card for two yuan, which can be returned when you come back or kept as a souvenir.
There are 2,600 steps from the checkpoint to the Sandiequan platform. The road is steep and narrow, and there are a lot of people. To be honest, the experience is not very good. I walked down step by step with the crowd with a cane, not daring to be careless. When I saw a sedan chair coming up, I had to be careful to make way for it. It felt that tourists sitting in the sedan chair were really unsafe. If the sedan chair worker stumbled, they would fall down and become meat patties. I looked at the price and the whole journey cost 1,280 yuan.
After walking for about half an hour, we arrived at the Sandiequan platform. As the name suggests, Sandiequan has three levels of waterfalls with a total drop of 155 meters.
There are too many people in the peak season, and it is a return road, very crowded, and there is no handrail on one side. We took the cable car, and it was quite tiring. The water was not big in August, and the whole journey was a bit far, so the cost performance was not very high. Lushan should be more about humanities than natural scenery. Tourist buses and others are all questioning life. It is recommended not to come during the peak season, so you can have a good time.
"Looking at the Lushan Waterfall" Sandiequan really didn't disappoint me, it was very beautiful. All the tiredness and persistence were worth it. On the way, I also met a few young brothers who took care of me all the way. Because we climbed up Wulao Peak first, it took a lot of physical strength. We walked down from Wufeng and bought a round-trip cable car for 80 yuan. You can also buy a one-way ticket, 55 yuan for the up and 35 yuan for the down. The queue for the down cable car was nearly an hour, which was quite long. You can walk down the mountain directly during the queue time, and the scenery along the way is also beautiful!
There is nothing interesting about Sandiequan, and there are so many steps that it’s exhausting!
The distance from the entrance of Sandiequan Scenic Area to Sandiequan is quite far. You can choose to take a small train for the first half of the journey. In fact, this journey is relatively flat. If you have enough time, it is better to visit slowly. The second half of the journey is more difficult to walk. There are steps up and down the mountain, and you can only walk. (The rich can choose to sit on the lifting pole) You can reach the ultimate goal of this scenic spot in about an hour by walking and playing all the way. There is a large platform that opens up suddenly. There is a pool of clear water under the platform, and the roaring sound of water above is pouring down with the waterfall.
Key points: Under normal circumstances, to visit San Diequan, you must first pass through a 2,409-meter viewing road from the entrance of the scenic area (you can choose to walk or take the San Diequan cable car), then go down 1,300 steps (only on foot) to reach the San Diequan waterfall viewing platform, and then return to the entrance of the scenic area by the same route, because there is no scenic sightseeing bus for the waterfall viewing platform below. Therefore, it is recommended to take San Diequan as the last scenic spot in Lushan Mountain, and only take a one-way trip, that is, after going down to the waterfall viewing platform to visit, do not climb up 1,300 steps, and continue to walk down for another 70-minute viewing road (mainly flat roads + a little downhill, which is much easier than climbing 1,300 steps) to reach the East Gate of Lushan Mountain (the East Gate is at the foot of the mountain and has left the scenic area). However, if you choose this way, luggage becomes a problem. Our solution is to choose a chartered car. The driver first goes to the hotel on the top of the mountain with an empty car to pick up the luggage, and then picks up people at the East Gate and sends them to Jiujiang Station. The chartered car fee for a five-seater car is 258 yuan.
●About San Diequan Cable Car: One-way 55 yuan/person, round trip 80 yuan/person, driving time 6 minutes, if you choose to walk, the walking time is about 45~50 minutes. Note: The cable car queue may be longer in peak season, and you can only pass through the 2409-meter viewing road! You can only climb the 1300 steps by yourself! This 2409-meter viewing road is mainly flat road + a few steps, it is still relatively easy to walk, there are 4~5 water play spots along the way, you can go down to play in the water.
● There is a registration office for returning to the mountain at the entrance of the 1,300 steps. Tourists who are returning need to register and pay a fee of 2 yuan, but those who are taking the one-way trip do not need to register.
● After arriving at the Sandiequan Observation Deck, there is a paid boating service under the waterfall. There is also a water play area next to it. We walked so hard just to visit this core attraction, so we can stay a little longer.
● From the Sandiequan Observation Deck to the East Gate Exit, you still need to walk a long way, passing through about 5 stone arch bridges. The road is relatively flat and the scenery is also good. The whole hike takes about 70 minutes. There are many sedan chair bearers along the way, because we arranged Wulao Peak and Sandiequan on the same day, and we took the whole journey of Wulao Peak + 50 minutes of continuous downhill road to Sandiequan. The child's legs were already trembling with pain. Mom was worried about hurting her knees, so she hired sedan chair bearers for the child. Attached is the price of sedan chair bearers for reference. In fact, it doesn't need to be as expensive as the price list. The price of the section we carried was about 400, but we actually only paid 150. Of course, if it was an adult, it would not be so cheap.
● After arriving at the East Gate, you need to take a sightseeing electric car (10 yuan/person, not included in the 80 yuan sightseeing bus fee) for about 8 minutes to reach the terminal: Lushan East Gate Service Center. Chartered cars can only pick up people at the East Gate Service Center and cannot drive into the scenic area.
● If you choose not to take the Sandiequan Cable Car and take a one-way trip out of Lushan from the East Gate, the total hiking time is approximately: 45 minutes for the 2,409-meter scenic trail + 35 minutes for descending 1,300 steps + 70 minutes to continue descending to the East Gate ≈ 2.5 hours. The stop and sightseeing time in between is about 2 to 2.5 hours, so 5 hours is enough to complete the entire journey.
After climbing the mountain for a long time, I suddenly saw the San Diequan Waterfall. I felt so relieved.
The San Tiaoquan is really spectacular in the rainy season. The waterfall is blocked by rocks and forms a beautiful water flow. It is best to prepare raincoats and shoes in advance, because your clothes will be soaked by the spring water when you go down to the bottom of the spring. However, it is very confusing to charge a two-yuan mountain pass to enter the San Tiaoquan. Instead, it hinders traffic and flow of people. It is recommended to optimize the scenic spot.
There are tram tickets for sale at the entrance, but the tram only goes back and forth on the first slope. There is no cable car on the downstairs. Follow the signs and you will see a cobblestone road like this.
After walking for a few minutes, there is a wooden platform where you can see a wide stream, which should be the source of San Die Spring. The tram can only take you to the first entrance, and you have to go down 1,500 steps from the entrance to see San Die Spring, and then you have to go back and climb up after seeing it, which will hurt your knees, so the general "old, weak, sick and disabled" will not join in the fun. Since you have seen the source of San Die Spring, you can consider it as seeing San Die Spring, hahahaha, return~
San Diequan is one of the most famous scenic spots in Lushan Mountain. Li Bai wrote "Viewing the Waterfall at Lushan Mountain" here.
It's not as big as I thought, but it's also magnificent. It's a must-see place when you come to Lushan.
It is a must-visit attraction this time. It is said to be the place where Zilong practiced "Lushan Shenglong Ba" in the past. You must go and take a look at it. It is located at the end of the east line.
An ancient poem says: I don't know the true face of Mount Lu, because I am in the mountain. Because the fog was too thick, the visibility was 5 meters. If you don't stand in it, you can't understand Su Shi's feelings at that time. The spider webs in the mountains are large and three-dimensional, and they are not affected by rain. Spiders are really magical creatures that can independently build a 360-degree induction castle. It took nearly an hour to walk to the cable car station, and taking pictures along the way took up a lot of time. If you take good pictures when you come, you don't need to take pictures when you go back.
From the entrance to the cable car station, there are basically a few steps + a flat road. It is not very strenuous to walk, but the real physical exertion starts from here. After walking many, many steps, I saw a toilet sign. It seems to be the only toilet and should not be missed.
Keep going down, you can go down the mountain directly to the East Gate of Mount Lu; so, you need to buy a "return card" here, 2 yuan, which is refundable. You must buy it, otherwise you will be judged as a person who went up the mountain directly from the East Gate without buying a ticket, and you will have to buy a new 180 yuan ticket. You can only see a little bit of the Sandie Spring from the observation deck. The first and second stacks above are completely invisible, so just look at the book~
Majestic and spectacular, but San Diequan Waterfall is not the Lushan Waterfall in the poem
At the cable car station, which is the entrance to San Diequan, you need to spend one yuan to buy a mountain entry sign, so that you don't have to buy the 180 yuan entrance ticket when you come back from San Diequan. The sign can be refunded at the original price when you come back. The mountain canyon, all the way down, 3,300 steps back and forth. The biggest pain of San Diequan is the 3,300 steps. How you go down, you have to climb up the same way. If compared with Huangguoshu Waterfall, Chishui Waterfall, Detian Waterfall, etc., San Diequan is far behind, it is just a very ordinary waterfall.
It was really tiring to go up the mountain 😂 but I still persisted
Starting from Jiujiang, because it was the first time to come here, I was going to take the bus to Lushan. The lady at the entrance of the hotel told us that there was a bus to the opposite side of the Armed Police Force. We took a taxi to the Armed Police Force. The bus took about 40 minutes and the taxi cost 150 yuan! When we were waiting for the bus at the Armed Police Force, the people at the platform said there was no bus! Later, a man came and told us that it was 20 yuan per person to reach Lushan. We thought it was a good deal, so we went straight over. After getting on the bus, he told us that he was near Lushan and could buy discounted tickets! ! ! ! We spent 400 yuan for two people, and in the end we only went to San Diequan! Other attractions are not in Lushan, and we can't go all in one day! The attractions of San Diequan plus the ticket for the mountain cost 70 yuan per person. We spent more than 200 yuan! ! The scenic spot of San Diequan can really be evaluated as dirty and messy! ! ! ! It's also a pit! ! ! ! It's not recommended! If you want to go hiking, you can go to Wugong Mountain! It's so beautiful. And the price is cheap
Climb from the first peak of Wulao Peak to the fifth peak, and then go directly down to Sandiequan. The road to Sandiequan is too long, and it rained heavily. You have to go back to the bottom. You don’t take the cable car. It takes nearly 5 hours to go to these two attractions non-stop, which requires strong physical support. The waterfall scenery is extremely ordinary, too pit.
The sound of the waterfall is very loud and can be heard from a long distance, but it feels a bit far away. It's so tiring⊙∀
It was a little worse than expected, given its reputation. But it was worth the trip, as it was very physically demanding.
The moment I saw the waterfall, it all felt worth it.
It is a physically demanding attraction. I took the train to save time. But the thousands of steps are still challenging. If you consider installing an elevator, it will attract more tourists. The scenery was shrouded in fog at the beginning. After waiting for half an hour, the fog dissipated and I saw its true face!
It really lived up to its reputation. After reading everyone's travel guide, I chose to visit the west line attractions the day before, sent my luggage back home, and then went to Sandiequan with only one bag the next day. After taking the cable car, I hiked down. My legs kept shaking. I walked for a while and rested for a while. The moment I saw the waterfall, I felt that all the tiredness was worth it. Finally, I went down the mountain from the east gate without going back.
It's a bit of a rip-off to charge a separate ticket, but the scenery is okay.
I heard that "If you haven't been to Sandiequan, you are not a Lushan visitor." Because "The waterfall falls three thousand feet straight down, it seems like the Milky Way falls from the sky" is so popular, I don't know where I got the courage from, but I challenged the three thousand steps up and down. I was exhausted and my legs were crippled. I realized that not making a strategy is fatal, and not having knowledge is fatal! In winter, Sandiequan basically does not have the so-called "floating like snow, breaking like fog, embellishing like flowing water, and hanging like curtains." Under the haze, you can only photoshop a piece of blue sky and white clouds to slightly comfort the internal and external injuries of climbing up and down for three hours. What's even more ridiculous is that the real Lushan Waterfall of "Viewing Lushan Waterfall" is on the west foot of the mountain, and the tourist route is basically not arranged there.
Lushan Mountain is very large, and many scenic spots require a car. There are restaurants, hotels, cinemas, and supermarkets on it, but they are a bit expensive! The scenery of the pavilion above Xiaotianchi is not bad. Xiaotianchi is a very small pond. Wulao Peak and Sandiequan have good scenery, which is higher than Xianren Cave. If you take a black car to Sandiequan, it costs 50 yuan per car. To get to Sandiequan, you have to go down a lot of steps. It is easier to go down the mountain than to go up the mountain. If you don’t come up and go directly down, the direction is to Jiujiang. It takes two hours to walk on the mountain road, and the scenery is okay!
Zhixue Company charters a car for 130 yuan (next to Lushan Railway Station), valid for 7 days. You can be sent back to the railway station when you leave from the railway station. Many scenic spots inside are inaccessible and you need to walk by yourself. There are few cars, and you can pick up at 7 or 8 in the evening;
The bus fare in Lushan Scenic Area is 80 yuan (available at any bus stop in the scenic area), with a bus every 10 minutes (many buses) and reaching all scenic spots. The latest bus leaves at 6:30 a.m. and only travels within the scenic area. Valid for 7 days!
Outside the ticket office of the scenic area, there are buses and cars to Lushan Railway Station and other places.
I'll give you a reference, you can choose for yourself.
(The Zhixue company was complained by many people and changed its name many times!)
We waited for a long time before we got on the East Line Eco-bus in Lushan, so we decided to go directly to the farthest Sandiequan.
We got off the bus at 10:45. This place is called "San Diequan Station". It takes more than an hour to walk down to the bottom of the valley to see San Diequan.
The service station on the side of the road shouted: "Instead of taking the cable car for a four-hour round trip, it only takes two hours."
When I was making a travel guide, a fellow traveler told me that the cable car ride only takes 40 minutes to get there. We usually walk fast, so we didn't ask the price. Let's go!
Along the way, there are gurgling streams, beautiful scenery, and fresh air. We came across several tea gardens, which produced the delicious Lushan Cloud Tea.
Then we went downhill all the way. The slope was not steep and there were few tourists. We strolled in the woods, talked and laughed, and if it was summer we could walk in the water and sing.
After passing the small pavilion where we could get the "return card" (we originally planned to go all the way down from San Diequan, and we didn't need to get one if we didn't come back. But now San Diequan is our first stop and we must return. We had to buy a card for 2 yuan per person.), the road started to become very steep. But the fog in the valley was getting thicker and thicker, and I began to feel vaguely worried. Would the valley bottom be darker? Wouldn't I be able to see San Diequan clearly?
We were sweating profusely as we went down the mountain, and our coats became a heavy burden for us.
As the sound of water became louder, we finally saw the San Die Spring at 11:56! It took us 1 hour and 11 minutes to get down to the bottom of the valley, which was pretty fast.
Apart from the thick mist, the source of the waterfall on the top of the mountain cannot be seen clearly, and the first and second layers of the waterfall cannot be seen. Only the layers of water curtains and the layers of mist are particularly spectacular. Here is a hazy panoramic photo.
You can also walk down the steps to the edge of the pond and feel like a dragon descending.
I have no resistance to water, it's awesome, I love it! Look how happy we are, we both jumped up.
Look at the waterfall paradise from afar!
It took about half an hour to take all kinds of beautiful photos beside the waterfall. Although the photos are blurry, I can see clearly that San Diequan is as majestic as a rainbow and has a long-lasting momentum!
At 12:25, we started the heartbreaking climb. The longest set of stairs I have ever counted was 75 steps, extremely steep at about 70 degrees. I was sweating all over and my heart was pounding. I heard there were 3,000 steps in total. It was really terrible!
At 13:01, we returned to the small pavilion where we received the "Return Card", showed our Return Card, and continued to climb up. The steps were gentler and the road was much easier to walk.
13:35 Climb out of the fog and sing “The sun is out!”
In fact, the sun is always there, but we have walked into the fog. ——How philosophical, isn’t it?
By the way, I also took a photo of the cable car. The round trip ticket is 80 yuan per person. No one-way tickets are sold. After getting off the cable car, you have to walk down the steep slope for 25 minutes to see the San Diequan. The key point is that you have to climb back up. People with average physical strength may have to climb for 40 minutes. It is extremely tiring and vomiting blood! So the cable car is not worth taking.
I didn't take the cable car, but walked back and forth, from Wulao Peak to here. My legs were almost broken after walking so much in one day.
The waterfall is still spectacular, but it is very tiring to walk to the foot of the waterfall and back to the Sandiequan sightseeing station. Don't carry a lot of things when you go into the mountain. There are things for sale in the scenic area, otherwise you can't walk. When you go into the mountain cableway, if you have the energy, you can play in the stream along the way. It is recommended not to sit. Overall, it is a place that needs a day. Arrange your time well and have fun.
San Diequan is a free attraction, and it is fun to climb the mountain and visit it. Although it was foggy when we went there, we were still able to take panoramic photos if we waited a little longer.
A three-level waterfall with nice scenery, but it's too tiring to walk up and down.
The characteristics of the scenic spot are not obvious, the journey is too hard, and it doesn't feel worth going.
Sandie Spring, also known as Sanji Spring or Shuilian Spring, is located in Jiudie Valley in the southeast of Lushan Scenic Area and is known as the "First Wonder of Lushan". It is not a spring but a waterfall. The water falls from the northern cliff of Wulao Peak and hits three levels of rocks to form "Sandi". The total drop is 155 meters, which is very magnificent. There is a saying that "If you don't visit Sandie Spring, you are not a visitor to Lushan". I went there in late autumn and the water volume was less.
Sandiequan is the famous Lushan Waterfall, known as the "First Wonder of Lushan". Sandiequan is located in the valley between two mountains. It is cool and pleasant under the waterfall. You can see the waterfall from a distance, play in the water, enjoy the mountain scenery, and also look out at Poyang Lake.
In Lushan Scenic Area, you can take the Lushan Scenic Area Tourist Bus East Line to the end point, and then choose to walk or take the cable car. The hike takes about 1-1.5 hours. From the Sandiequan Return Card Exchange Office to the Sandiequan Observation Deck is a steep staircase that is difficult to walk and requires a certain amount of physical strength. It is recommended that the elderly and people with mobility impairments walk with caution or take a slide.
If you want to enjoy the fun of mountain climbing, you can take the bus from Jiujiang to Xingzi at Jiujiang Bus Station and get off at Haihui Town. From the entrance of Sandiequan Scenic Area in Haihui Town, walk all the way up to Sandiequan and enter the main scenic area of Lushan Mountain from this entrance. The cost is 20 yuan for round-trip sightseeing tickets (from Haihui Visitor Center to the entrance of Sandiequan Scenic Area), and 64 yuan for the independent ticket of Sandiequan Scenic Area. After visiting Sandiequan Scenic Area, if you want to enter the main scenic area of Lushan Mountain, you need to buy the Lushan Ticket at the entrance for 180 yuan.
The Sandie Spring in Lushan is really spectacular and gives people a visual enjoyment.
It was foggy when we went there. It was white everywhere and we couldn't see anything! I suggest you don't go to Lushan in mid-October! When we went to San Diequan, we didn't take the cable car. We went down the stairs all the way. It was easier, but our clothes were soaked with sweat. After we got to the bottom, the waterfall was still beautiful, but because of the fog, we only saw the bottom stack, and the top two stacks were completely invisible! When we returned, we climbed up the stairs. We climbed to the cable car seat and gave up climbing again, and took the cable car back! So it is recommended that if you don't have enough physical strength and lack exercise, it is more cost-effective to buy a round-trip cable car ticket!
Sandiequan, also known as the Three-Tier Spring, is located in Jiudie Valley in the southeast of Lushan Scenic Area and is known as the "First Wonder of Lushan". The water falls from the northern cliff of Wulao Peak and hits three levels of rocks to form "Three Layers". The total drop is 155 meters. It is very magnificent. There is a saying that "If you have not been to Sandiequan, you are not considered a Lushan visitor". Standing on the rocks at the bottom of the Sandiequan Valley and looking up, you can see the waterfall splashing down, majestic and roaring.
