Lushan Scenic Area

The various scenic spots in Lushan are scattered. If you go alone, you can decide where to go or not according to your own preferences. I arrived at Guling Town at around 12 noon. There is no time limit for the tickets to the Lushan Scenic Area. You can buy a half-price adult ticket for 80 yuan on *哪哪网. After arriving at Guling Town, I first bought a sightseeing bus card that required fingerprint recording, and then went to Huajing and Lulin Lake. These two are in the same place. I grew up next to a small reservoir and didn't feel anything. Then I went to the Iron Chain Bridge, which required buying a cable car ticket to go down. The round-trip fee was 50. If you go in the morning, you can only buy the downward ticket, and then you can cross the mountains. I had to go back. It was past three o'clock when I went there. I was afraid I couldn't go back, so I had to take a bus back to town. The biggest regret was that I went back to the hotel to rest. I went to see Lushan Romance at 7 o'clock in the evening. The movie was good, but the cinema was very simple. The door kept banging while I was watching it. I went back to sleep at night. The next morning at 7:30, I took the east line bus to Wulao Peak. It took 2 hours to reach Wulao Peak, and then went down the mountain to Sandiequan. It took 3 hours to go back and forth. I returned to Guling Town and went to Jinxiu Valley. I had a close contact with wild monkeys. I left at the Xianren Cave scenic spot and took a bus home. The whole trip cost between 1000-1100.

Lushan Scenic Area is divided into several scenic spots, each with a different location, all centered on Guling Town (this place is a tourist distribution center, and also a village town with accommodation, you must buy a ticket to enter this town). Our family bought tickets from the ticket office at the foot of the mountain and drove to Guling Town for about 40 minutes on the winding mountain road. The east route includes: Meilu Villa-Lushan Conference Memorial Hall-Lulin Lake-Hanpokou-Wulao Peak-San Diequan, and the west route includes: Huajing-Ruqin Lake-Jinxiu Valley-Xianren Cave-Wulongtan-Huanglongtan-Sanbaoshu-Huanglong Temple-Lulin Lake. You must get off in Jiujiang when taking the train. It is more convenient to go to the scenic spot from Jiujiang.

Actually, there is nothing wrong with the scenery, but it has changed after it became a tourist attraction. It was very cold and foggy today. Some attractions were obviously not open, but we bought tickets for a certain attraction. The thing is, we arrived at the dam reservoir, got off the bus, listened to the strong recommendation of a middle-aged man, and went to the side to buy 3 adult tickets for a certain attraction and a round-trip cable car for 99 yuan, and a student ticket for 75 yuan, and then took it to the ticket office for ticket inspection. Then the ticket office did not have this 99 yuan item at all, which was very surprising. However, the ticket office only had a round-trip cable car ticket for 50 yuan, but the ticket inspection passed. After taking the cable car to arrive, the fog was very heavy and we could not change it. We could accept it, but when we got there, we found that no one was selling tickets. In addition, the food in the scenic area was very expensive and tasted very bad! We had dinner at a farm, and we started to clean up the table before we finished eating. It was very expensive and tasted very bad. I don’t know if this is a unified phenomenon. In order to see the scenery, you have to prepare dry food yourself.

If you go to Lushan for many days, it is best to stay in Guling Town. You must buy a sightseeing bus ticket (even if you drive yourself), which is very cost-effective and can take you to every scenic spot. You must follow the map given by the official Lushan Mountain. Do not go to the scenic spots that are not on the map. They are all privately contracted and cost-effective attractions. For example, there will be a cable car for you to take at the Hanpokou Scenic Spot. This cable car leads to the Dakou Waterfall Scenic Spot. The Dakou Waterfall is a privately contracted scenic spot and requires another ticket. It is boring and cost-effective, so don't take this cable car. Go back from Hanpokou and go to the direction of San Diequan. San Diequan requires a long mountain climb. Be prepared, the waterfall is worth seeing (Figure 1 San Diequan). The scenery of Lushan is not very beautiful. The most worthwhile place is the Lushan Conference Memorial Hall. There will be tour guides pestering you on Lushan Mountain, saying that they will take you to explain the East Line or West Line for 200 yuan. It is unnecessary. What they say is not worth the money.

Mount Lu really refreshed my understanding of national key scenic spots. Mount Lu is really big. From the entrance of the scenic area to Guling Town, I vomited by car. It is too far and too winding. The bus connecting the scenic spots costs 80 per person, but it is free in Wuyi Mountain. You can experience it yourself! The facilities in the scenic area are old. The toilet is far away and there is only one toilet. It is very dirty and there is no water. It costs money to get to the scenic spot. The San Diequan is very famous. It takes 80 per person to climb the mountain back and forth for one or two hours because it is too steep. People who have taken the trip say it is not worth it. Not only is the money not worth it, but the physical strength is not worth it. The most famous scenic spot is like this. Don't even think about seeing anything else! I will never come to Mount Lu in this life.

The scenery of Lushan is great, even in the fog it is still unique. It feels like fog in the clouds. The whole mountain is not very strenuous to walk. Did we pass by "Monkey Mountain"? It is said that there are many monkeys, but when I went there, there was not a single monkey hair. I did see a warning that monkeys cannot be fed (maybe there is). Things worth noting: the temperature will be a few degrees lower after entering the mountain, so be careful to keep warm and bring rain gear. It is very humid. After visiting the former site of the Lushan Conference, you will see the Lushan Building from the exit. It used to be the base of the Kuomintang Officer Training Corps, and now it is open as the only star-rated hotel in Lushan. There are tour groups for one-day tours of Mount Lushan in Jiujiang, but you must not join them. You can't do anything in Lushan in one day, which is equivalent to a wasted trip. Mount Lushan has convenient transportation, and there are all kinds of accommodation and restaurants. It is recommended to travel independently, and there is no need to join a group. Tourists with sufficient time can stay in Lushan for a few more days, even a month, or even a year to experience the beautiful scenery of Mount Lushan in four seasons. Mount Lushan is a tourist destination suitable for a short vacation, so it is not recommended to buy sightseeing bus tickets, because you will miss some beautiful scenery while sitting in the bus. Moreover, there are trails between many scenic spots, so it doesn’t take long to reach the destination by crossing the mountains and hills, instead of spending more time walking along the road.

After getting off the bus, you can feel that Lushan is a very "people-friendly" scenic spot. There are all kinds of shops here, and the prices are similar to those at the foot of the mountain. Looking down from the square, many buildings are still under construction. Whether by the road or in the villa yard, you can see thick and broad sycamore trees. The lush sycamore trees are like a big umbrella, blocking all the sunlight. The accommodation conditions in Lushan are relatively good and the price is relatively affordable. The buildings in Lushan are all built in imitation of villas. The floors are not high, but they are very exquisite. Lushan at night is charming. All the scenes in the movie "Lushan Love" were shot in the scenic area. The literary and artistic atmosphere is very strong. Although it is a bit "made", it is worth recommending.

Mount Lu is one of the Three Mountains and Five Peaks. According to historical records, during the Zhou Dynasty, seven brothers of the Kuang family went up the mountain to practice Taoism and built huts as their homes, so Mount Lu is also known as Kuanglu. Bai Juyi, a poet of the Tang Dynasty, wrote in "Lushan Thatched Cottage": "Kuanglu is a mountain of extraordinary beauty, the best in the world."

In 725 AD, the 25-year-old Li Bai came to Mount Lu. Standing at the foot of Xianglu Peak, he looked at the Lushan Waterfall from afar. He was inspired to write a poem "Viewing the Lushan Waterfall".

Friends who travel by public transportation are advised to take the bus to Jiujiang, and then take the bus to the North Gate Visitor Center. Lushan Station is not convenient.

We drove directly from Jiujiang to Mount Lushan. About half an hour later, we arrived at the ticket office and tourist transfer service center at the north gate of Mount Lushan. If you come to Mount Lushan by public transportation, you can buy tickets on the first floor here and then go directly to the second floor to transfer to the scenic area bus to go up the mountain. The ticket to Mount Lushan is 160 yuan, and the sightseeing bus is 70 yuan. You can take the scenic area shuttle bus unlimited times within 7 days, which is quite cost-effective.

When we arrived, there was almost no one in the ticket hall (probably due to the epidemic), and only one ticket window was open. They asked us if we were driving. After knowing that we were driving, they asked us to go directly to the North Gate to buy tickets. The vehicle entering the mountain was 45 yuan/vehicle, which didn't seem expensive. By the way, you need to buy tickets for Mount Lu with your ID card, one ticket per person with real name, and there is a simplified version of the Mount Lu tourist map on the back of the ticket.

After driving into Mount Lushan, the nightmare began. The winding mountain road and the visibility of about 5 to 8 meters of thick fog made it hard for even me, who usually doesn't get carsick, to bear it. I felt dizzy all the time. Now let me show you how the fog in Mount Lushan is. No wonder Su Shi of the Song Dynasty wrote the poem "I don't know the true face of Mount Lushan, because I am in this mountain". How can you know the true face of Mount Lushan in such a thick fog? !

After driving on various "drifting" mountain roads for about an hour (it's only about 20 kilometers, you can imagine how slow we drove), we finally arrived at Guling Town in Lushan before my stomach churned and I was about to vomit!

The Lushan Scenic Area covers a wide area. Guling Town is a town located in the scenic area, with accommodation, restaurants, convenience stores and more.

The distance from Guling Street to the scenic spots of Lushan is quite far and not suitable for walking. Therefore, the scenic area has set up a scenic sightseeing bus for tourists to travel. The ticket price is 70 yuan per person and it is valid for 7 days. It can be used repeatedly within 7 days. The sightseeing bus takes two routes, the east line and the west line. The east line is magnificent, mainly including Pokou, Wulao Peak and Sandiequan and other attractions. It takes a long time. The west line is beautiful, mainly including Huajing, Xianren Cave, Power Station Dam and other attractions.

Lushan Scenic Area, under the jurisdiction of Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, is located 36 kilometers south of Jiujiang City, with the Yangtze River to the north and Poyang Lake to the south. It is about 25 kilometers long from north to south and about 20 kilometers wide from east to west.

The ticket price was 16.5 yuan. During the one hour of waiting for the bus, I found that the small car had already left three times.

It is said that there are 400 bends on the north line of Mount Lushan, and fewer on the south line. Although I was mentally prepared for the winding mountain road, I still underestimated the difficulty. I, who never get carsick, felt uncomfortable just halfway through the journey, and many passengers on the same bus also had reactions. In the hope of getting out of the mood as soon as possible, after about 40 minutes of driving, I finally saw the archway of Mount Lushan and officially entered the Mount Lushan Scenic Area. During the tour, I learned that there is also a cable car to the foot of Mount Lushan, so I wanted to try it. The return trip started at 16:00 on the last day, and the cable car station was 10 minutes away from the foot of the mountain.

The scenery is pretty good! It is best to find the price on the mountain, especially the hotel, by yourself so that it is easier to bargain. Don't stay at the marked price. In June 2012, I joined an outdoor team's Lushan activity. I had high hopes before signing up, but I found that the scenery was not as good as I had imagined, and the culture there was very poor, and tourists were seriously overcharged, which seriously affected my mood for the trip.

I went to Lushan in October purely because I wanted to go out for a walk during the National Day holiday. Lushan can be almost finished in two days. There are many undeveloped attractions. If you want to understand and play thoroughly, two days are not enough. The mountain is at least the temperature of a windbreaker colder than the mountain. When watching the sunrise, I added a thin down jacket but couldn't resist the cold. In less than two and a half days, I basically played the main attractions, and I was very satisfied. The scenery of Jinxiu Valley that I walked into directly was not as interesting as the forest from Sanbao Tree to the dam line (I only found out that it was due to ignorance that I didn't see the mystery of some scenery after listening to the guide). The "Natural Immortal Cave" attracted my attention by a leopard cat. I didn't go to Hanpokou to watch the sunrise, so I couldn't appreciate the beauty of Hanpokou. Half an hour of winding mountain road, fast and many, there is almost no straight line between bends, half an hour bee bee can be converted to what frequency, when I sat on the top of the mountain, I felt carsick and nauseous, you know, I don’t usually get carsick... So it is recommended to bring some carsickness medicine. You must buy a ticket for scenic transportation. Although the scenic spots are not very far apart, it is quite tiring to walk. Lushan is divided into two tourist routes, the East Line and the West Line. The West Line is a semicircular route, and the East Line is an angled route covering Meilu. The West Line is mainly a cultural landscape and a relaxing tour route. The East Line, including Pokou, Wulao Peak and Sandiequan, are very physically demanding mountain climbing routes. Therefore, it is best to stay for more than two days when visiting Lushan, and to divide the East and West Lines into two days. If you don't have enough time and you don't particularly like humanities, you can appropriately give up the old meeting site and other places, walk around, breathe fresh air, enjoy the cool temperature, and feel better when you are a little more comfortable. Huajing and Ruqin Lake are together, and Jinxiu Valley is on the other side of the road. It takes only half an hour to see Jinxiu Valley. Ruqin Lake and Huajing take 1 to 2 hours, and Xianren Cave takes 1 hour. I checked some photos on Fengwo before and consulted the hotel staff. They said that the west route is mainly the flower path, such as Qin Lake, Jinxiu Valley, and Xianren Cave, so the route around the power station dam was abandoned. Lulin Lake will pass by on the east route to Hanpokou on the second day. You can see it quickly in the car, which is also considered to have seen it~
