The Nanchang Star looks very big from a close distance. After all, it is the largest Ferris wheel in China and the third largest Ferris wheel in the world. The Nanchang Star Ferris wheel is built on the second floor of a building, so you have to go up the stairs. A regular seat is 50 RMB, and a deluxe seat is 100 RMB. A full rotation takes about 30 minutes. It is nice to overlook the scenery of Nanchang from the Nanchang Star Ferris wheel.

Asia's largest Ferris wheel is well worth a visit for only 40 RMB.

I went there specifically to coincide with sunset, but to my surprise, by the time I passed the highest point of the Ferris wheel, the sun had already set, leaving only the afterglow smudged across the sky.

So if you want to watch the sunset on the Ferris wheel, it is best to get on the Ferris wheel half an hour before sunset.

The Ferris wheel cabin is quite large, especially when you are alone, it is best to go on a weekday and contract a cabin. It is too comfortable~

By China-TravelNote users |

The route was very convenient. There were parking spaces on the side of the road, but a parking fee of 10 yuan was charged. When I arrived, I bought tickets at the visitor center by myself, 50 yuan per person (children's tickets were half-price and had to be bought at the entrance). There was also a deluxe cabin for 100 yuan per person, but there were two more puppets in the cabin and a small table in the middle. It took about half an hour from top to bottom. The Ferris wheel turned very slowly. It kept turning when I went up, and I went directly into the cabin while turning. The same was true when I came down. There was a door opening and closing button at the door and the staff would control it. When you go to a high place, you can overlook the river view and the scenery of Nanchang city. The scenery is still very good, and the perspective at an altitude of 160 meters is also rare. It's just that some of the glass in the cabin has cracks that affect viewing. The Ferris wheel has lights at night, which can display a circle of text, or you can spend money to customize the text. It's a good tool for confession. It's also good to take children to play. There is also a small playground next to it, and you can dig sand and play with pigeons by the river. It's also very close to Qiushui Square. It is definitely worth the experience. The weather was not very good when I went there. If the weather was good, you might be able to enjoy Wang Bo's "The setting sun and the lone wild goose fly together, and the autumn water and the sky are the same color" on the Ferris wheel.

A place worth visiting, very interesting, a landmark

By One minute |

It was under renovation when I went there, so I didn't get to experience it. The lights of the Ferris wheel are still very beautiful when you look at it from outside.

Choose a good day, go up at 5 or 6 pm, and overlook the city

I went there in the afternoon. It should be great in the evening, but it was my first time here and I was unfamiliar with the place. I was afraid I couldn't get back to the hotel, so I didn't dare to go. I went there the next afternoon, and it was closed. They said it was because of the weather, it was too hot, and it opened at 5 o'clock. But I had to take the high-speed train back at 5 o'clock, what a pity. Then I just took some photos.

Although the "Nanchang Star" is not open for business at the moment, as one of the top five Ferris wheels in the world, I still want to take a closer look at it before leaving.

The blue and purple lights cast a mysterious veil over the Ferris wheel. Even standing hundreds of meters away, you can still feel the momentum of this "giant". If you really reach the top, you should be able to see all the lights of thousands of homes from a God's perspective.

The Ferris wheel was shining alone in a cold glow due to the maintenance. The location of this area is a bit remote, and except for the amusement park, most of the vehicles were passing by in a hurry, and there were few people like me who came here to watch.

The "Nanchang Star" Ferris wheel, also known as the Nanchang Star, is located in the Ganjiang Citizen Park on the bank of the Ganjiang River in Hongjiaozhou, Honggutan New District, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. It is 160 meters high and is the landmark building of Nanchang City, second only to the Las Vegas Ferris Wheel (167 meters) and the Singapore Flyer (165 meters) in the world. It was originally the world's tallest Ferris wheel, higher than the London Eye in London, England. It is now the third tallest Ferris wheel in the world and the tallest Ferris wheel in China.

Located in Ganjiang Citizen Park, Hongjiaozhou, Honggutan New District, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, it is 160 meters high. It was the tallest Ferris wheel in the world when it was completed in 2006. It is now the fifth tallest Ferris wheel in the world.

I visited it when I passed by Nanchang.

The Star of Nanchang, the second tallest Ferris wheel in Asia, offers a bird's eye view of the city of Nanchang.

By Zhaoshine |

The Eye of Nanchang is more beautiful at night. It is said that it takes one hour to ride it.

By flower |

The Ferris wheel costs 50 yuan. The weather was bad, and the glass was not very clean, and there were even cracks in many places. The Ferris wheel in Nanchang is the third tallest in the world, at 160 meters.

By Wheat Wave |

As the sky gradually darkened, the number of people in line grew to hundreds. Without music and lights, it was not very exciting. The difference of a few dozen meters in the size of the Ferris wheel was not important, but the orientation of the Nanchang Star was designed incorrectly. People below had to look up, and if they wanted to see the whole view, they could only walk along the roads or the riverside on both sides, and they all looked from the side. There were houses and trees all in front of the Ferris wheel, and these obstacles made the Ferris wheel look very incomplete. No matter which angle you took the photo from, you couldn't capture the entire outline.

By Frank |

Don't go there during the day, the scenery is completely different at night.

By chealila |

It was once the tallest Ferris wheel in Asia, and is now one of the top five in the world.

But there is really nothing good to sit on, especially at night, because when you sit up in the air, you can see pitch black on both sides, which is not a good look.

By Long black hair |

It looks ordinary during the day, but it is very high.

But the first time I was amazed was when I was driving by. I saw a large colorful disc standing at the far end of the road. It looked so close, yet out of reach.

The second time I went to ride the Ferris wheel, the ticket was 50. After entering, it was actually a bit boring. I slowly watched the ground getting farther and farther away. When I reached the top, I felt that the hustle and bustle of the traffic turned into bright spots and lines. "I don't know the true face of Mount Lu because I am in this mountain" ~ I can't see the Ferris wheel itself, I can only see the iron frame and the city view. In fact, there is no beauty.

The third time I saw it was on a cruise ship on the Ganjiang River. From afar I could see the big disc seemed to be sitting on the Bayi Bridge, which was very beautiful.

So, although it is the tallest Ferris wheel in Asia, it is only suitable for viewing from a distance and not for being in it in person.

Just look at it, no need to sit.

By Garfield |

I saw half of the Ferris wheel on the road. It was really beautiful at night.

It is said that the tallest Ferris wheel in China takes about 20-30 minutes to complete a circle.

By Xiamen Heron |

Although the Ferris wheel is large, the surrounding night view is not good.

By He is my classmate |

Needless to say, I love Ferris wheels. I hope to ride on London Eye one day!

By Janus Martian |

The day I went there was 520, the ticket was 50 per person, and it took about 25 minutes to complete a circle, and I could see the night view of Nanchang.

By Bear |

I was looking forward to going there, but was a little disappointed. It was just tall and big, not very three-dimensional. The lighting felt a little shabby, and the surroundings were very noisy, which did not bring out the romance of the Ferris wheel.

It's quite nice. I went to buy tickets at 6 or 7 o'clock. If I went later, I would have to queue up. It cost 50 yuan per person. I went with my boyfriend. The only regret was that the tickets were collected and I couldn't keep them as a souvenir. The scenery was very beautiful at night. Nanchang is a good place

By Jing |

It takes half an hour to go around, 50 yuan per person, 4-8 people in a group, the queue is so long, so I gave up. The night view is particularly beautiful, and the big lawns on both sides of the river are even more beautiful. Some people set up tents and camp on them, some people barbecue, and some people fly Kongming lanterns... It is a new moon tonight, and the crescent is particularly cute

Before the construction of the Singapore Flyer Ferris wheel described in Malacca: A Tale of Two Cities, http://www.mafengwo.cn/i/6272570.html, the 160-meter-high Nanchang Star was the tallest Ferris wheel in the world. There was news that a 208-meter Ferris wheel was being built in Chaoyang Park, Beijing, but later I heard that the plan was shelved or aborted.

The Flyer Ferris Wheel is 165 meters high. In addition to the Nanchang Star, it is higher than the 136-meter London Eye on the Thames and the 120-meter Tianjin Eye on the Haihe River (see "Tourism and Eating in Tianjin" http://www.mafengwo.cn/i/5354401.html for details). As the car slowly turns, the Bayi Bridge and Nanchang Bridge across the Ganjiang River are respectively located in the north and south, shining brightly in the night.

It's OK to see the city view, and couples can go there to talk about love. But the cable car is quite dirty and the sanitary conditions are not very good.

Nanchang Star, once the tallest Ferris wheel in China, seems to be the tallest in Asia, and its reputation has been spread. Although there are many new stars now, the dreamy feeling of the past has not been forgotten. Speaking of Nanchang, every young person can always imagine sitting on the Nanchang Star and feeling the romance of the Ferris wheel. I have been to the Tianjin Eye before, but I just watched from a distance, took a photo with my good friends and left. It was a pity that I couldn't sit, so I was determined to sit on the Nanchang Star this time, and I was with the person I love most and the person who loves me most. The experience of Nanchang Star in Nanchang City is really touching. The lights of Nanchang Star at night keep changing, sometimes blue, red and yellow, and sometimes blooming like a flower. Even if you look at it from below, you can feel the romantic atmosphere. The Ferris wheel reached the top, overlooking the entire Nanchang city, even if there is haze and it is not clear, it is also excellent. As for transportation, it may be a little far. The bus stop is not Nanchang Star Station, but an unknown one. I can’t remember which one it is. You can just check the map when the time comes.

By polarscolar |

I waited until the evening. Maybe it was not the weekend, there were very few people riding the Ferris wheel, mostly couples. They all had adult tickets. The scenery was good, it was said to be the third highest in the world, and it took 30 minutes.

Nanchang Star really allows you to see the night view of the entire Nanchang! It's awesome! Worth a visit! And I personally think it's very cost-effective! It's suitable for going at night!

You can have a panoramic view of Nanchang from the Ferris wheel, and the night view of the Ganjiang River and the other side of the river is great.

The night view of the Ferris wheel is amazing, and the changes of lights are like a dream

If there are many people, it is recommended to take a taxi after exiting the subway station. I took the bus alone and walked for more than ten minutes after getting off the bus. Moreover, it was parallel to the Ferris wheel, which was not convenient for taking photos. When I went there on a non-holiday night, there were not many people. Everyone was in groups, and each person sat in a cabin. After going up, I found that it was not as good as I imagined. After all, Nanchang is not developed enough, and the night view is not very gorgeous. It can only be said to be average. The time did not feel very long. It passed in a flash while chatting and taking pictures. The light show of the Ferris wheel is more interesting than the Ferris wheel from a distance. On the way back, the High-speed Railway Line 2 passed by.

The wheel surface lights are composed of six or seven thousand LED semiconductor lighting devices. When all the lights are on, in addition to displaying a giant colored clock with a diameter of 153 meters, different patterns can be set according to needs. The construction started in 2005 and was completed in 2006. The total investment reached 100 million yuan, which interprets Nanchang's proud posture as a world dynamic city and has become one of Nanchang's important landmarks.

One of the best in Asia, the Ferris wheel is really huge. People seem very small when taking pictures. Although I didn't experience this Ferris wheel, you can feel its shock no matter from far or near. The ticket price is 50 yuan, which is really worth it. I hope to experience it when I come to Nanchang.

Located on the bank of Ganjiang River in Nanchang, it is a new scenic spot in the new city. However, it is very inconvenient to go there. The bus stops very early, so it is best not to play too late. 2. Unlike the Jinji Lake Ferris Wheel, this Ferris Wheel can be used at night. A small box can seat 4 people. When there are few people at night, you can sit by yourself. The night view of the whole Ferris Wheel is very beautiful at night. 3. The ticket for the wheel is 50 yuan. It takes about half an hour to go around. You can overlook the night view of the whole city. 4. There is an amusement park under the Ferris Wheel, but it is basically closed at night. 5. There are few places to eat and the supporting facilities are not very complete.

This is a landmark building in Nanchang. It is the third tallest Ferris wheel in the world and the tallest in China. I had never ridden a Ferris wheel before, so I wanted to try it and also because of its fame. Standing under the Ferris wheel, you will feel really small. In the cabin of the Ferris wheel, you can overlook the Nanchang Bridge and all the night views. However, the ticket price for riding the Ferris wheel is a bit expensive. We used our student ID card at the time, so it was half price, and the full price was 50 yuan.

The Nanchang Star Ferris Wheel still holds the record for the world's largest Ferris wheel) and a landmark building in Nanchang City.

We arrived at night and saw the night view. It is said to be the largest Ferris wheel in China or Asia. It costs 50 yuan per person and it takes about 20 minutes. It feels very fast when sitting on it. There are about 4-6 people in a box, but my friend said there were only 2 people last time. Maybe there were more people that night. When you go up, you can see the night view of Nanchang from a distance, the Nanchang Bridge, and the Tengwang Pavilion in the distance.

By SsaA |

It looks good and is worth a try. It is not as big as imagined. You should go there when you are in Nanchang.

By Fireworks fade away |

Before I went, I learned about this Ferris wheel. It is the third tallest Ferris wheel in the world and the tallest in China. It is a landmark building in Nanchang. Sitting on it and looking at the bridges over the Gan River is very beautiful. Looking at the night view of the whole city, it is very good with stars. I strongly recommend going in the evening and taking the night view, which is more beautiful!

Transportation: We went there in the evening, and took a taxi from Qiushui Square for 12 yuan. Because we checked that there were buses that could get there, but it was basically a long way to walk. At the end, we wanted to take a taxi again, but the driver who stopped there would ask for a sky-high price, so remember to ignore it. Decisive find a driver who is willing to use the meter.

Tickets: 50 yuan per adult; half-price tickets for children between 1.2m and 1.4m, 25 yuan. The inspection was quite strict. We were a little over 1.2m, but we were also bought tickets. It was probably dinner time when we went there, so there was no one there. As a result, when we got down, there was a long line! Remember to go at dinner time, around 6:45, when there are few people and no need to queue. And when you go up, it will be dark, just right for the night view.

The Nanchang Star is known as the largest Ferris wheel in Asia and is very beautiful.

Let me first talk about its surroundings. The Ferris wheel is on the bank of Ganjiang River. There is an amusement park and a riverside avenue.

Many areas along the river are privately contracted, but there are also places where you can get close to the shore and experience the Gan River. There are also many locals swimming with their children.

Facing the Ganjiang River, the river breeze blows, and the scorching summer heat in Nanchang is instantly eliminated. It is highly recommended and a good place to experience the local customs.

We boarded the Ferris wheel near dusk, the ticket was 50 yuan, and there was no student ticket. . There was air conditioning inside, which was very user-friendly.

Sitting on it, you can see the whole scenery of Ganjiang River and the appearance of the nearby city. It was my first time to ride a Ferris wheel, but I was not scared. A friend of mine kept screaming and was scared to death when others moved. Hehe, it was quite fun. We also said that it would be more exciting if the bottom was replaced with glass, but it should be impossible.

The whole process takes about half an hour. You can take pictures slowly and enjoy your time in the air. It is really high.

I heard it’s best to come here at night so you can see the night view, the bright lights, and the busy bridge in the distance.

It is recommended to come here in the evening, walk along the river to enjoy the breeze, play in the amusement park and then ride the Ferris wheel at night. It is a very good plan.
