Qiushui Square

Nanchang Qiushui Square is located on the bank of Ganjiang River in Honggutan New District, close to the Administrative Center Square and across the river from Tengwang Pavilion.
The main fountain in the square can spray up to 108 meters and is the largest musical fountain in Asia.
In summer, it is very cool to stand under the fountain. Looking at the sun through the mist, you can find countless small rainbows, which are very beautiful.
At night, the dynamic lights across the street dance with the fountain, and there is also a Taiwanese snack street next to it, which is a good place to enjoy a midnight snack.

The weather in Nanchang is really unbearable.

Fuzhou already has the reputation of being a furnace, but I didn’t expect Nanchang to be even more exaggerated.

Especially when I just came down from Mount Lushan, the contrast was even more obvious. After enjoying the coolness of Mount Lushan, the sultry heat of Nanchang became even more unbearable.

At least there is a cool breeze in Fuzhou at night.

The air in Nanchang feels still, the humidity is very high, the temperature is high, and the hot and sticky air surrounds you, making you extremely uncomfortable.

You have to endure the discomfort.

We still had time in the evening, so we went to see Qiushui Square

There are two centers in Nanchang, namely Bayi Square and Qiu Shui Square, but one is the center of the old district and the other is the center of the new district.

There are many tall buildings around Qiu Shui Square, and it is very lively at night.

People usually come here to see the musical fountain at Qiushui Square.

The fountain is very famous and is said to be the largest musical fountain in Asia.

Qiushui Square is located on the bank of Ganjiang River in Honggutan New District, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province.

Located next to the Administrative Center Square, it was completed on January 28, 2004

It was built on wasteland, which not only prevents floods but also provides a good view.

The night view at night is also very beautiful, very beautiful and very pleasing to the eye

The Gan River is just below Qiushui Square.

The night view of Tengwang Pavilion can be seen on the riverside of Qiushui Square

You can also see the night view of Nanchang Star, which is really lively.

Tip: Qiushui Square has a crescent shape in the overall plan and stands by the river. The river bank is 1,100 meters long and 110 meters wide at its widest point. The world's second super musical fountain Nanchang Qiushui Square has the largest musical fountain group in the country. The musical fountain is located in the center of Qiushui Square. A large riverside cantilever platform with a length of 280 meters and a width of 25 meters is built along the river. A total of 22 water features including the central main spray, circular high spray, circular swing fountain and CNC running fountain are configured. The water feature is 800 meters long, with a total of 636 water pumps and 1,591 nozzles. It is a large leisure square for international sightseeing and tourism.

Not bad, after dinner, I came to walk around, have a snack, and watch the fountain show. But when I left, the subway was crowded, and I had to queue up to buy tickets and enter the station. I suggest that friends who are sure to take the subway when they leave should buy tickets in advance. (Nanchang Metro automatic ticket vending machine only supports cash, no Alipay or WeChat, and mobile phone swiping only supports specific apps and requires binding bank cards)

The night view is gorgeous, with lights flashing on both sides of the river. Today is the 17th day of the lunar calendar, and the rising moon is big and round, and it rises very quickly. Before I can catch this moment, the moon is already hanging in the sky.

In the undulating fountain mist, the combination of music and lights performed a visual feast, and exclamations were heard from time to time. I didn't queue up for the musical fountain at West Lake in Hangzhou, so I didn't see anything from a distance; I went to the musical fountain at Big Wild Goose Pagoda in Xi'an during the day, and I just felt its size; the musical fountain at Donggang, Dalian, was inferior to the one in Nanchang.

Qiushui Square is located on the bank of Ganjiang River. It is named after the famous line in "Preface to Tengwang Pavilion" "The setting sun and the solitary wild goose fly together, and the autumn water and the sky are the same color". It faces Tengwang Pavilion across the Ganjiang River. Today is National Day, so there is a light show on the high-rise buildings near the square. The gorgeous lights show the prosperity of the motherland. There are many tourists in the square, and everyone celebrates this grand festival in their own way.

After visiting Bayi Square, we went to Nanchang Qiushui Square across the river from Tengwang Pavilion. Qiushui Square is mainly for viewing the musical fountain, but when we went there, the last performance of the musical fountain had already ended. We wanted to see the night view on the other side of the river, but unfortunately there were many trees planted on the river bank, which blocked our view. It was a pity that we could not see the night view.

The sixth attraction on the first day in Nanchang is the Qiu Shui Square Fountain, which is said to be the largest in Asia. It doesn’t matter, and no one really cares about it, but it does spray very high. However, there are only two ways to do it. If you are afraid of being crowded, you can leave after the second song is over.

Qiushui Square is a place for leisure in Nanchang. The square is a newly planned area of Nanchang New District. You can see the Tengwang Pavilion on the other side of the river and the musical fountain.

By Caterpillar |

There are not many people during the day, and there are two musical fountains at 19:15 and 20:15.

By Deer Cat |

The world's largest musical fountain is located in this square.

By March light rain |

It's nice to take a walk here after dinner, to see the fountain and feel the river breeze.

By Little cute bean TT |

The musical fountain has a lot of people watching, but it doesn't have any special features, just colorful lights

By Carolus |

Unfortunately, the fountain was turned off when we arrived, so we could only watch the people.

By Ahhh Dawn |

It is a place for locals to relax in the evening, and there is no telling when the fountain will be turned on.

There was a light show when I went there, using several buildings on the shore and the buildings on the other side of the river, which was quite creative.

You can see Tengwang Pavilion at night, but the river is quite wide, so it looks smaller.

There are police officers directing traffic at the intersections along the river.

By Ziyuan |

You can see Tengwang Pavilion from Qiu Shui Square. The night view should be good, but there is nothing to see during the day.

By Junjun |

The musical fountain is quite great. It is next to the Ganjiang River and you can see the other side of the Ganjiang River from afar. The square is in a busy tunnel and you can see a high-rise building across the road.

I think it is worth a visit. The Tengwang Pavilion is opposite the lake in Qiushui Square, and there are twin towers across the street from Honggutan. There are people at night and during the day, basically young couples, which is very sad for me who just broke up. Unfortunately, when I went there, there was no fountain, and I had to wait for half an hour because there were so many people. I thought there was

By Anki Sauce |

The name of Qiu Shui Square is very poetic, and it should come from the famous line "The setting sun and the lone wild goose fly together, the autumn water and the sky are the same color." The rippling autumn water fits its geographical location perfectly: it is close to the municipal center on one side, and across the Ganjiang River and the Tengwang Pavilion on the other side, as if a river divides two time and space.

The square is famous for being the largest fountain complex in Asia, but I heard that it has been surpassed by the Wild Goose Pagoda Fountain in Xi'an. However, this does not affect its fame at all. Every tourist comes here to witness the charm of the light and shadow water columns.

Under the night sky, the high-rise buildings surrounding the square were covered in feathers of lights. The twin towers also turned into two hanging scrolls hanging from the sky, with subtitles representing hope constantly scrolling on them.

The fountain was out of order and not open, but even without the fountain, there was still a light show! As the Guinness-certified permanent light show with the most buildings in the world, it was said that it was extended several kilometers on the basis of the original one, and the theme was also brand new. How could such a great event be missed? There was one light show at 20:42 and 21:42 in the evening.

I watched the 16-minute light show carefully. The first thing on display was Nanchang's most famous Tengwang Pavilion. The red pavilion and its beautiful windows appeared particularly dazzling in the azure light, and the river water was also stained with neon, as if there was another magical city under the water.

This is a brand new light show after the expansion, to celebrate the motherland's birthday, with the theme of "Meeting Haihunhou". The picture traces the story of Haihunhou through a dialogue between a little boy and his grandfather, who dreams of returning to the Han Dynasty. At the end, all the lights dimmed, and then went out again in an instant, and the different buildings slowly returned to their previous forms, as if the splendor just now was just a dream.

By RainLLL |

Overall impression: I just like to walk along the river, enjoy the breeze and chat with others. I really have no interest in the fountain.

I think the difference here is because of your presence...

The music and light fountain on Honggutan Qiushui Square is eye-catching. It is the largest music fountain group in Asia, with a fountain area of 12,000 square meters and a main fountain height of 128 meters. It is a beautiful landscape in Nanchang. People can enjoy the music while watching the beautiful scenery of Tengwang Pavilion.

By Sunset |

The amusement facilities are very relaxing and there are many people. Unfortunately, I went to Qiushui Square for two consecutive days in August to repair the fountain, so I didn't see the fountain. I was sad. The snacks inside are okay, but don't buy the coconut juice. He will write a sign there for 10 yuan, and when you pay, he will have another price. There are many flavors of Dorayaki, and those who like sweets can try it. The scenery by the river is good, there is a small beach, many people are there, and there is a little brother practicing singing on the beach, which is very nice. There is a cruise ship there, the kind that runs along the river, you can sit, and the cruise ship can clearly see the night view of Tengwang Pavilion. This time I went there and felt that Nanchang could be so beautiful.

By casual |

I rushed over excitedly, but the fountain was under renovation. I asked the staff and they said it would be completed next year. I was a bit disappointed, but I could still watch the light show on the other side of the river.

By Hidden Water |

I went to Qiushui Square yesterday evening. It is conveniently located at Exit 5 of Qiushui Square Station on Metro Line 1. There are tall buildings on one side of the square, and the lights are even brighter at night. You can go down the stairs from the square to the beach and enjoy the Bayi Bridge and Nanchang Bridge across the Ganjiang River. You can also see the Tengwang Pavilion (although it is a bit small) and the Ferris Wheel (although it is half blocked). It should be noted that the music fountain in Qiushui Square is not available recently. It is being upgraded and repaired. It will not be seen until July 1, 2018!

By Yuan Bao |

The maintenance started on 5.17 and will be open after 6.30. The night view is still good, I recommend you to come and see it

It is really big. Although the fountain is under renovation, I didn't see the fountain display. But the lighting effect is also very good.

Nanchang has changed a lot in recent years. The Honggutan New District has been well built. The fountain in Qiushui Square is particularly beautiful with the lighting effect of the high-rise buildings.

Qiu Shui Square is by the Gan River. It is recommended to go there at night. There will be a musical fountain at 8pm. There will be a light show on the high-rise buildings on both sides of the Gan River. There is a stone-paved sidewalk in front of the music square leading to the sandbar of the Gan River. Many young couples go there to play at night. The view of Nanchang night view is better. The night view of Tengwang Pavilion, Ferris Wheel and Bayi Bridge is so beautiful. Bring your SLR and get ready to take pictures!

It is the largest musical fountain in Asia. Qiushui Square is most lively at night. The fountain undulating with the music makes people linger here. Facing the river is the Tengwang Pavilion under the night light, and the new face of Nanchang Honggutan New District is a city that never sleeps.

There are many people in Qiu Shui Square at night. There is a fountain show at 8:30. There is also a snack street next to the square where many special snacks can be found.

Qiu Shui Square is such a great place!

First of all, its fountain can spray really high, but it probably didn't spray more than 100 meters on the day I went there. The variety of patterns is not as rich as that of Jinan Quancheng Square.

Secondly, you can see a large light show on both sides of the river here. The twin towers are very cute. If we had known that we could see it here, we would not have spent more than 100 yuan to take a cruise. It was very cold on the river.

Then, there is an amusement park and a Taiwanese food street where you can eat and play.

Finally, it is adjacent to the Nanchang Star, with a great view of the Ferris wheel, and is also close to the Tengwang Pavilion.

The musical fountain is really nice. The last wave sprayed very high. It was from about 8 o'clock to about 9 o'clock. There were two performances. The one after 8 o'clock was better.

After riding the Ferris wheel, I rode a Mobike all the way to Qiushui Square. The night view was beautiful and the wind was very refreshing. There were a lot of people and it was very lively. Qiushui Square was very lively and the music fountain was very beautiful. However, the toilet was broken and sealed. The wind made my stomach cold and I had to go to the toilet. There were so many people in the subway, so I decisively took a taxi and had to pay twice as much to get a taxi back to the hotel. But I was still very happy 😊

The fountain performance and light show at night are really good, and the food in the snack street next to it is also good, but it is a little far from the subway station.

It is recommended to go and see it. The night view is beautiful and you can see the fountain.

I asked my friend whether the center of Nanchang is Bayi or Qiushui, and he told me that it is both, one is the old district and the other is the new district. Sure enough, there are many high-rise buildings here, and it is very lively at night. My guess is that Bayi Square is the center east of Bayi Bridge, and Qiushui is the center west of Bayi Bridge.

People usually come here to see the fountain in Qiushui Square. I have seen many of them, and they are all similar. The one in Qiushui Square is really good. You can come and see it if you have seen it. The night view is also very beautiful, but it was not very clear because of the haze when we came. It must be very beautiful if you come in summer. The I Love Nanchang in the Twin Towers is really pleasing to the eye, and the lights next to it are also flashing. Below is the Ganjiang River, with a light breeze, and it is still very cold in winter.

There is also a snack street here, but I don't recommend it. It's not delicious and expensive. It's better to go to An'anshengsheng for a meal. You can see the night view of Tengwang Pavilion and the night view of Nanchang Star by the river in Qiushui Square. It's really lively. It must be better in summer. There is also a light show by the river, but it's not very obvious in winter because of the heavy haze. I still recommend everyone to come in summer.

"The setting sun and the solitary wild goose fly together, the autumn water and the long sky are the same color", Qiu Shui Square is such a poetic name. This should be a world of lights, a dreamy ocean. Separated by a river, the lights on both sides shine brightly. It's so magical...

I went to Qiushui Square at night and there were two highlights.

First of all, there is the musical fountain, which looks very nice with the lights (but I still like the musical fountain in Dalian Donggang, which is not only large but also lasts for half an hour. You can come and see it if you have the chance)

The second is the riverside light show that started at around 8 o'clock. This is a great idea. The high-rise buildings around the Ganjiang River formed a screen, and a micro-film promoting Nanchang was performed through lights. It felt like the Bund in Shanghai. But one bad thing is that there is no good place to watch it~

ps: Qiushui Square is very crowded at night, and the subway station is also crowded

By Don't leave me |

The third time I went from Fuzhou to Nanchang. I saw this fountain, but I didn't know where to go at night.

By China-TravelNote users |

It's a relatively ordinary fountain, and I think there are two points that are more beautiful. One is that two water jets spray against each other to form a rainbow, which appears frequently. When it is almost over, it will spray very high, and it is estimated that it is not 108 meters, about 60 or 70 meters.

By False Report |

The public services are OK, the local characteristics are OK, and the scenery is very good

By Fish Luo |

I personally think it is one of the two most interesting attractions in Nanchang. There are a lot of people. You must go there at night. Bring a set of clothes and prepare to get wet. It is known as the largest musical fountain in Asia. There is no need to eat at the nearby Taiwan Street because the prices are expensive.

By Shenhu Ada |

I had heard that the music fountain in Qiushui Square was beautiful, but I was really shocked when I arrived. It was already 20:45 when I went there. I thought I would leave with regret, but I didn't expect there would be a second show. I was really pleasantly surprised!

By Scholar's spirit |

The last stop of the trip to Nanchang City. Originally, I didn’t have high expectations for other attractions except Tengwang Pavilion, but the night view and musical fountain of Qiu Shui Square left a deep impression on me. I highly recommend it.

Qiushui Square is a large leisure square with fountain as its theme, integrating tourism, shopping and sightseeing. The music and light fountain is the largest music fountain group in Asia, with a fountain area of 12,000 square meters and a main fountain height of 128 meters. It is a beautiful landscape in Nanchang. People can enjoy the music while watching the beautiful scenery of Tengwang Pavilion.

The night view of lights on both sides of the Ganjiang River is also very unique. It uses the high-rise buildings on both sides to change lights in a unified manner, echoing each other. When all the high-rise buildings change colors together, it is particularly beautiful.

Looking at the magnificent new government building, the spacious Qiushui Square and the lined-up snack bars, I can't remember what road I was walking on in the afternoon. This is the taste of a city, it is developing at a high speed, but it has not yet shaken off the old tail. I can't predict whether it will be completely transformed or become more and more out of touch.

1. The first thing that came to my mind was that the autumn water and the sky were the same color. I went to the Rope Sutra Tower first, and then went to the Autumn Water Square in the evening. Was it a good arrangement?

2. Fountain opening hours: Summer time: 20:00-20:25 20:50-21:15 (from April 15) Winter time: 19:30-19:55 20:20-20:45 (from November 15)

On holidays (excluding weekends), there will be two additional hours: 10:00-10:30 and 15:30-16:00 (closed on rainy days)

In addition to free access during designated hours, it can be watched on demand at any time between 9:00-22:00 every day, with a fee of 100 yuan per minute.

3. When we went there at night, there were more than 10 of us, and we also caught dolls and saw the fountain.

4. Now that Line 1 is open, you can take the subway directly there, or you can take a bus to the city government and then walk there. You can also take a taxi there, and you can see the Bayi Bridge not far away.

The photo was taken a few years ago. It's pretty crappy, isn't it?

1. Located in Honggutan New District, Nanchang City, under the Bayi Bridge, it has a very large area. 2. It is one of the most worthwhile attractions in Nanchang. The best time to come is in the evening when the weather is not hot. You can stroll around the square and take a rest. Then when night falls, there will be a musical fountain. The fountain is beautiful under the reflection of the lights. It will keep changing colors and movements. There is also a section that flies very high. It is said to be the largest musical fountain in Asia. It is very beautiful. 3. This is in Nanchang New District, so the supporting facilities are not very good, eating is not very convenient, and there are relatively few buses. Pay attention to safety after watching it.

Here you can take a walk along the Ganjiang River and look out over the beautiful night view of the Tengwang Pavilion on the other side. There is Asia's largest music fountain square here, with the first show starting at 19:50 and ending at 20:10; the second show is from 20:45 to 21:00.

There are some Taiwanese snacks and the fountain is worth seeing. Come to Nanchang for some additional attractions.

What is worth mentioning about Qiu Shui Square is the fountain. It is quite spectacular and the background music is quite lovely. Apart from red songs, it also sings praises of the beautiful Nanchang. Hahaha, it feels very cute.

The area around the square is quite prosperous. It is said to be very close to the city government. You can see the square when you come out of the subway exit. The Shangri-La Hotel is across the street, and it faces the Tengwang Pavilion across the river. It is convenient to take the subway, but it will take a long time by bus.

The Ferris wheel about 20 minutes away is said to be the tallest in Asia. I wanted to go there. It was said to be very beautiful. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to go. It was a bit regrettable.

Nanchang Qiushui Square is located on the bank of Ganjiang River in Honggutan New District, close to the Administrative Center Square and across the river from Tengwang Pavilion.

Qiushui Square is a very suitable place for children in love. The best time to go to Qiushui Square is in summer and at night. There is basically nothing to do during the day. Qiushui Square has two main good things, one is the music fountain (it is said that the music fountain is ranked high), and the other is the amusement facilities on the square (this is charged). In the hot summer, where can you cool off? Qiushui Square is a good place, not only because of the misty water vapor sprayed by the music fountain, but also because of the breeze of Ganjiang River. Qiushui Square is right by the Ganjiang River, across the river from Tengwang Pavilion. At night, the river breeze is gentle, neon lights are flashing, and it is a special flavor to appreciate Tengwang Pavilion in the night. It is said that there is a row of snack bars there recently. It seems that some people say that the taste is not very good, and it is a bit expensive... By the way, many people go to the Ganjiang River below Qiushui Square to swim. Those who go swimming must pay attention to safety and try not to go out of shallow water.

Travel route: Get off at Changbei Station of Bayi Bridge on Chengchedao (bus No. 232, 223, or 211 will all get you there), and walk along the river for 15 minutes to get there (if you are coming from the city, just walk across the road after getting off).

Tips: If you go there on a summer weekend, it is best to go back early. Once the musical fountain ends, everyone will slowly go back and the bus will be crowded.

The fountain is very impressive, and there is also a light show on both sides of the river. It is recommended to take a boat to watch it, otherwise it will be too slow and the show will end before the end. Adults are 61, and students with certificates are half price

The Qiushui Square Music Fountain was once the largest square fountain in Asia. Since it was surpassed by the Big Wild Goose Pagoda Music Fountain Square, it can only be ranked second. However, when you visit the site, you will not feel that it is inferior to the latter by a single point. It even has the potential to surpass it. The effect is very beautiful.

The musical fountain at night is amazing, and the high-rise buildings on both sides of the Ganjiang River are constantly playing animations, which is very beautiful.

It was great, especially the fountain show. I was sprayed with water at the end, haha. But it was very enjoyable and worth going.
